I've had drinks here before, first time eating. Just a club Sandwich. Well executed but a little mean with the bacon when charging a tenner. Ambiance and range of options at the bar as well as the great location make this venue worth a visit.

Castle St Townhouse... I have been for both cocktails and breakfast. The avocado and poached eggs were a solid 8/10 and the cocktails were a fab 9/10 the only thing that let this place down is the pretentious prices. Everything is top dollar we are talking £12 for full English and £11 per cocktail... however staff were friendly on both occasions and I would return here so thank you.

We attended last night as a walk in table of 7.... The food was exemplary. They needed more staff as we had to wait for a while for food and drinks to arrive. But the food (main course) was so tasty and well presented and everyone enjoyed their meals... Deserts could have been better but that's down to personal taste.. Bill was a bit high for what we received but overall a solid 4. Drop prices a bit and you will be full constantly... But overall impressed...

Nice bar, expensive drinks but it's a city centre so expected... Although £3 for half a pint of coke is a bit high when it's only £6.20 for a pint of lager. The toilets tho... Disgusting... Only 2 toilets in the ladies, one was full of poo stains and then the other had bloody smeared on the wall 🤮

Gorgeous little place. Was a little noisy in the bar area, but once seated in the dining area it was quiet and cozy. Food is delicious, we went for the Wednesday deal, which gets you a starter and a main with a bottle of wine included for just £20. Worth every penny, staff are a delight both our servers were very attentive and the bar staff are very knowledgeable about the drinks. All in all very much worth a visit.

We came for breakfast. Best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! Server was awesome and professional. It was so good we came back for dinner. I had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection. The chef has a lovely subtle hand with flavours and sauces. The service was so good. I only hope I can come back again before I leave Liverpool tomorrow:)

I had a bottle of red wine which was very nice. Our waiter was lovely and made sure that everything was ok with our meals and that we were happy.

I have only used the bar facilities. Good range of beers spirits and cocktails. Set in a smartly styled venue. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The surroundings and relaxed vibe easily justify the prices.

Bright vibrant place the staff friendly and professional one of them went looking for a drinks menu when we asked for one even though he was busy. It was packed at 3.30 on a Saturday afternoon ,a group of men had put their coats on chairs but were all standing ! Luckily a young couple offered us their seats as they were going anyway ☺ We had a Gin and soda , £5 and left .

Just been absolutely shocked by our treatment from Niamh who said she was a manager...food fabulous as usual...a small discrepancy over the bill was met with disdain, rudeness and downright lack of customer awareness...not a nice lady to be in the job she has...bizarre customer service and awareness...really shocked to the core...and that is not nice..

The prices are slightly above average for similar dishes, and the portions are slightly smaller. However, the place is very nice and so is the presentation of the dishes. You are served cucumber infused water upon arrival which is always a nice touch, and the place is squeaky clean.

We came here on a Sunday for lunch. They have a special traditional Sunday roast, which was delicious and a live musician from 3pm who played beautiful soft guitar with vocals. Well worth the visit!

Good selection on the breakfast menu and we chose the full house breakfast, the food was lovely and the produce was of a high standard and we felt this justified the slightly higher price than other restaurants. A little long to wait for the bill, but we will be returning.

We went here for a world lunch and have to say it was delicious. I ate from the set lunch menu which serves 2 courses for £14.95. My starter was mussles in a tomato and fish sauce. Aside from this being a lovely starter you also get all the usual things you expect with mussles, a bowl for the empty shells and a lot of warm water for your fingers. My main was beef shin with mustard gravy and chips. The sound of that is rather boring but let me tell you now it was delicious. Will definetly be going back for food.
