We came for Mother’s Day celebration. Overall, we had an enjoyable evening here. The service was attentive, and the food was great (can be better). The atmosphere was definitely the highlight of the night. We had slow-cooked beef cheek - the flavour was perfect, and it was served with mashed potatoes. However, the portion is too tiny for a person. My partner ordered Conti Pork Belly. It was rather disappointing. The pork was overcooked, although the flavour was good. My mum ordered Rib Eye Steak and specifically mentioned medium to the waiter. However, the steak was well done. It wasn’t the dish that she enjoyed on Mother’s Day, unfortunately. We had three desserts. Honestly, they were so good. They definitely deserved to be the stars of the night.

Gorgeous french cuisine. Truthfully we planned on going next door to Gordon Ramsey's but went in and hated the look and smell of the place.... Popped our head here and fell in love. Tried 3 courses and all 3 were gorgeous! The terrine, sea bass and plum pie (not the posh words) were all amazing, served by a lovely french girl and the experience was perfect. We will return next time we're in Liverpool 💕

We called in for the 2 course lunch at 14.95. The starter was beautiful we both chose the tomato on bread. My friend chose steak for main course and I opted for chicken. Both very nice. As it was a warm day we sat outside. Service was very good.

Lovely food and great value for money! I had the 3 course Prix Frixe menu. For the starter I had the wild mushroom soup, lovely texture with a toasted baguette. For the main I had steak frites, chargrilled steak served with fries (pictured). For dessert I had the chocolate mousse. They had a great selection on all menus and had a separate gluten free menu (including a gluten free Prix Frixe menu). Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We booked here for my best friends birthday and it could not have gone better. Jess decorated the table and even bought a card. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly and looked after perfectly. The food was amazing, so thank you to all the kitchen staff. Front of house were just amazing and I would recommend Cote 100%. Thank you to Jess, Stephen, Dani and Sebastian you made our evening.

Really enjoy this restaurant, staff are very friendly and efficient, has a lovely atmosphere. Immaculately clean. Tables are well laid with beautiful linen napkins. Iced water is always served without requesting Food is always good, served hot, very well presented, well cooked, with lots of flavour.

Second visit to here to dine alone and it’s been amazing. The waiter Jose has been really nice to me too. French onion soup is served at the right temperature, melting cheese and crispy croutons— is there anything more cosy on a cold rainy afternoon? I had the duck confit as main. The cassoulet toulouse bean stew was nice with the bacon, sausage and croutons. However overall can be a little too salty when combined together with the duck. The duck meat itself was amazing, very tender and very aromatic. Meat was cooked through, very easily separated on a gentle touch with a fork.

This place is to die for, the creme caramel is fresh, and was really scrumptious, I honestly will come back for it and just would love to have the recipe. Carola was the manager I think and she was absolutely lovely and great with her hospitality she showed us. Absolutely recommended.

If I still lived in my home city I would eat here every day. The staff are so friendly and attentive to everyone trust me I watched them. Nothing was too much trouble for them it was like a breath of fresh air to come to a restaurant were the staff wanted you to have a great experience. The food well that didn't disappoint it was fantastic all credit to the chef. I should say at this point I have a nut allergy and the whole staff especially the managers were on-board with this I can't thank them enough ❤ their allergy matrix should be adopted by all restaurants check it out on their website. It was our wedding anniversary and we were just walk ins nothing prebooked and they made it a very special day a very very big thank you. Cote liverpool you have something very special going on there.

This is the best restaurant I have eaten at and it is so convenient for the Hilton and other city centre Hotels. The staff are delightful, particularly Amy and her colleagues from Croatia, Hungary and Lithuania. They were all charming, friendly, quietly efficient and quick to respond. Now I know why George Roper loved his Sidecar. The food was stupendous, with the In-house Bourgignon to die for and a sharing cheese platter that I would willingly have scoffed entirely. The ambience is charming, relaxed, peaceful and beautifully Continental and this year's intake of overseas students have already discovered it as a haven. Booking is essential, but it is always worth a phone call for last minute cancellations. Cocktails A ++++. We will go back there !

Visited this restuarant many times, in fact my favourite place to eat when visiting Liverpool. Unfortunately Cote have decided to change their specials menu and not for the better. I appreciate businesses are trying to recover some of their loss but the the new menu in the long term will only lose customers. Today I ordered the terrine, it was actually tinned luncheon meat, absolutely dreadful, it was accompanied with burnt toast. Fortunately the main was up to it's usual standard and the service was excellent. Please Cote at the very least put the beetroot salad back on the menu and remove the awful tinned meat.

Lovely dinner. We had squid and mussels as starter and chicken and stroganoff as mains. Much care on details, plates were hot before serving and mussels came with the pot of water to clean your hands. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the chicken was juicy and well cooked. However, we were eating at about 6.30 when the early evening offer was coming to a close and there were just not enough staff to deal with the volume of people efficiently. Our waitress was lovely as were all the staff seemingly but they were clearly under pressure and as a result there was s stressful atmosohere. One or two items were late in coming. Things calmed down after 7.30 - surely the management are able to recognise and rectify this ??

Called in for coffee on Sunday morning . Lovely looking place front of house girl seemed lovely but we were sat close to the drinks making station and had to endure 2 younger girls moaning and ranting about life issues. The 'f' word was used 3 times and by then we had had enough so drank up and left. Not really the atmosphere or behaviour you would expect from somewhere looking so smart. Also ZERO vegan options so breakfast for us was a no. Could have cobbled together toast and sides to make a makeshift one but they had gone to the effort to offer vegetarian....why not buy in vegan sausages(Quorn/Linda macartney/Fry's/cauldron/many more...plus any supermarket own veg line if you are really stuck) so that it's a vegan breakfast with egg as a vegetarian upgrade.....it's not hard and covers both choices . All in all a let down of a place that we wouldn't be in a rush to go to again.

They made sure I had water at all times, and it was a good atmosphere in general. Both french and english food on the menu. Good taste! We ate at Cote at lunchtime on Friday 23rd March and I have to say it was the most pleasant experience. The food was good, the wine excellent, the ambiance very European (Is it still ok to say that !!!) and above all the staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming, well done guys. April 13th, having had the most awful, humiliating experience at Brown's of Liverpool myself & my partner left their toxic environment at 1:30pm and went two doors down to Cote; our experience at Cote could not have been more different, unlike Brown's the Cote staff were welcoming warm & friendly and when they saw how distressed we were by our experience of Brown's rude & unprofessional staff the guys at Cote sat us down with a complimentary bottle of wine & made us feel completely at home. Thank you once again Cote for your friendly, welcoming staff and your excellent ambiance & food, well recommended

Bistro on the edge of Liverpool One offering a bright and open feel, nice patio dining, and 'posh' feel (well, linen napkins, ice bucket for the wine). Lunch special: choice of starter and main £13.95. A bottle of house Chardonnay about £22.00. 12.5% optional gratuity added to bill. Free wifi. Reasonably attentive service given was busy much of the time we were here.
