I loved my first experience of visiting this eatery. From the welcome arrival to the attention to detail and very personal customer service. A fantastic experience. The food was incredibly delicious and authentic. Best tapas bar ever! Go visit. You'll have a blast.

My partner and I visited here last night during our stay in Liverpool. We love Spanish tapas. It was a great little gem hidden away down some stairs. The atmosphere felt great and relaxed and authentic too. Music and dancing was a nice touch and perfect volumn as others have complained too loud but we could talk fine, we sat next to each other rather than opposite. Waitress that mostly served us was a lovely woman, her colleagues that sometimes visited the table were all polite and nice too. The sangria was gorgeous and my partner enjoyed his cold pint too. We ordered 7 tapas dishes and they were all very tasty. I agree with one feedback which states limited menu for a vegetarian, we aren't but do look for non meat dishes as like a good mixture. We really enjoyed our meal inc the puddings and felt very content when we left. They honoured a 15% discount as I work for the NHS, lovely touch and very much appreciated so thank you.

• Paella negra (squid ink paella w/ langoustines, squid, clams, prawns, garlic aioli) • Paella de mariscos (seafood paella w/ prawns, squid, clams, mussels) • Croquetas de bacalao (cod croquettes) • pulpo a la gallega (galician-style octopus w/ olive oil, paprika and potato slices) • Tortilla con cebolla (spanish omelette w/ garlic aioli and caramelised onions) • Pan tumaca (toasted bread w/ tomato base, parsley) • Gambas pil pil (skillet prawns in a white wine chilli garlic broth) • Calamares a la romana (fried squid with garlic aioli and lemon wedge) • Volcan de chocolate (chocolate lavacake w/ vanilla ice cream and whipped cream) • Tarta de queso (cheesecake w/ strawberries and whipped cream) • Salmon a la plancha (grilled crispy salmon w/ roasted potatoes and cubed vegs) • Patatas bravas (deep fried potato cubes w/ spicy tomato sauce and garlic aioli) The first time I had their bacalao croquettas, I was blown away by the texture and taste of the interior, it was a very pleasurable bite! The service staff made my 2 visits very comfortable as well!

Great food and atmosphere, we had live music/dancers on a Friday night! Only issue was the slightly long wait time for the food.

A true hidden gem, the food was exceptional and the staff couldn’t do more for you! My mum was taken Ill part way through the meal and the staff were so attentive providing us with everything we needed and no request was to much for them. Some of the kindest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and food that was out of this world on top of it, we can’t wait to visit again

Incredible food, lovely staff Went for a table of 4, we had the croquette sharer and chicken & chorizo paella, the couple we were with had several paella dishes, all the dishes were lovely. We were very surprised with how quiet it was. Staff were lovely and attentive, would definitely recommend.

It was a nice experience delicious tapas and very nice selection of drinks. I love they have a promo of a drink and free tapa. You can have a drink and enjoy a small Spanish dish of your choice. I truly enjoyed with my boyfriend 😊

Me, my wife and the kids came to esto es españa yesterday for our valentine's meal. Wow! What can I say? Great service! Great food, amazing venue and what a show they put on for us as well. I would highly recommend anybody that would like an authentic taste of Spain to visit this place

Popped in as Drama School just next door. What a find! Food was absolutely incredible. There was one dip and before I'd a chance to say compliments to chef the waitress said what about that dip. Steak delicious, Pina Colada expert and they had a non-alcoholic version for kids.

Had a lovely experience in this restaurant, I went with my Spanish friend as he's teaching me Spanish and showing me the culture, he assured me it was very authentic and it was honestly amazing, the food was UNREAL ! Can't wait to take more people here to experience it as well, we also met the head chef 'mr paella' he was super nice and you could instantly feel his level of expertise, the kitchen is open so you can also see them cook. Overall I would highly recommend !! Especially to the English peeps like me after going here you'll be hooked on the Spanish cuisine ! AMAZING !!

Nice venue. Cheap tapas but you get what you pay for. Nothing wrong with what we selected but nothing particularly inspiring and each tapas contained a lot of potatoe. I'd suggest to go for a drink / cocktail and get a few as a snack rather than for a full meal.

As a Valencian girl who has been brought up to have traditional homemade paella every Sunday, I have to say I was mind blown with the seafood paella from MrPaella. Very fresh ingredients and incredibly tasty. I also recommend the creamy chicken croquetas. It was a very nice (and really good value) treat, especially when you are craving some proper Spanish food! 100% recommended!!
