l. r.Really nice place. When we came in the place was quite but hey it was in the afternoon. Could imagine it being a little busier in the evenings/weekends. The lady that was there working was really nice. When our food arrived it looked amazing. The food we ordered was to share. Although the food was good, it just felt like another roast, so didn't feel like I went in for a specific cuisine. We did still enjoy it, and loved the chips. Non the less I know to order something else from their menu next time. Service was great anyway. And as we asked for the bill we where given complimentary desserts. Which was a nice touch. Also the actual interior and look of the places was nice. Even the bathroom was well thought out. As even the hand soap was of luxury quality. I would come back again to this place on another Liverpool trip. I just know now to perhaps order a wrap or something off the grill if I want more of a Greek feel.
A. M.Even though it was a busy Saturday night, and we didn't have a reservation, the staff accomadated a table for 2 for us. The food was amazing, might not look big portions but we left feeling stuffed! They also gave us a complimentary dessert which was lovely.
H. B.Absolute Gem. We had the set menu for 4. The most value I have ever seen in a restaurant ever full stop. This is what dining has long forgotten. Quality homemade food in ample portions with the most attentive and friendly staff. The service industry has lost this charm everywhere and this restaurant has definitely not. Do yourself a favour and eat here the drinks are so reasonably priced too. I've been to Liverpool so many times and the only regret I have is that I never found this restaurant sooner.

S. E.We visited on Wednesday evening. Food was lovely, we shared lamb chops, mixed souvlaki, halloumi fries, and the tzatziki was probably the nicest I've had! Marked down a star as it was extremely warm in the restaurant (and I like being toasty!) and the high chair for my toddler was pretty filthy - needs a good clean, or even better - a new one.

Had something to eat there (mixed grill 👌🏻) and both the food and the service was first class, but that wasn’t the best thing about the place.
My wife was unfortunate to have an incident were she collapsed and we had to call an ambulance.
The restaurant cleared up a large table which had a bench for a seat, placed blankets and pillows for her to lie comfortably in the recovery position and allowed us to wait until the ambulance arrived, which took 3 hours.
All of this was during their busiest period of Saturday evening during Christmas period.
They made no complaints about us using up so much of their restaurant and we’re constantly checking up to see if we needed anything, as well as making me cups of tea and coffee dieting me anything else I needed, on the house.

F.Meat here is always on point, sausage selection was a nice substitute for the later (post 4pm) meat platter - didn’t realise this as we ate at lunch but were very satisfied with the service and excellent value. Only point for improvement were that the Chips were abit chewy and tasted a little overcooked. Pita meals are always absolutely bangin! Great restaurant for friends and groups as large tables downstairs but we booked in advance and was excellent atmosphere. nice decor and beer selection was alright.

Grilled halloumi fries were especially tasty, and I really enjoyed the mixed souvlaki. Food was not at all greasy. We were pleasantly surprised by the free dessert at the end. Waiting staff were friendly and not intrusive at all. I would eat here again. I would suggest that the souvlaki could be offered without chips - maybe a Greek salad as an option? But that's my only minor complaint!

D. P.This is by far the best Greek food/souvlaki restaurant in Liverpool, and I have been in Liverpool since 2014 and eat souvlaki often, so I believe my view on this is trustworthy and credible. The prices are the same as in any greek restaurant in the UK but at grilla you get QUALITY and QUANTITY! Also, during the season 2016-2017, when I was the Vice President of the Hellenic and Cypriot society of the University of Liverpool we hosted an acoustic music night and the cooperation of the restaurant management with my fellow society board members was excellent, the service to the attendants was outstanding and we had a memorable night!
k. s.Amazing Mediterranean food! My partner and I went on a Tuesday evening and split the two gyros meal and a carafe of wine. In total it was only £17, and they brought out complimentary brownies for dessert. The quality of the food is top notch and the service is incredible. j. d.Came here 14th may had Tuesday offer of 3 tapas for £12.95 houloumi fries chicken and pork skewers with either mythos beer or prosecco for £2 extra and the grilla platter for £16 which was salad assorted meats and fries along with a bottle of prosecco came to £66 for 3 people bargain portions are quite big free sponge cake dessert was a nice touch would definitely recommend

GRILLA serves the nicest food I've had in a long time! I had chicken skewers with a ton of fries and pitta bread. The mixed grill for two came on a wooden board and was piled high with various meats, potatoes etc on a heap of fries. The side salad was lovely and fresh plus the little extra touches made the dining experience at GRILLA even better; free water and glasses on the table and free chocolate brownie pieces with cream were brought out after the meal. GRILLA caters for all ages with lots of different meats on the menu and the portions are fantastically big. For 6 people with 2 rounds of drinks and main meals for each person with 1 side order for 1 person came to £78 which is a very reasonable price for a city centre eatery.
We can't wait to go back! Thanks to the staff at GRILLA for a great meal 🍽️🍷

The excellently grilled lamb came with a spicy and meaty sauce/gravy that really made this a special dish. The salad was simple vegetables combined with a really strongly flavoured dressing that went well with the meat. We finished off the meal with a chocolate Brownie. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I tried Saganaki on the recommendation of the waitress and it was legitimately one of the most delicious starters I have ever had. A. “.Relatively small grill/Mediterranean type restaurant, but wow, the food here is excellent. Prices are what I'd refer to as cheap in comparison to the norm in Liverpool. Great menu, fantastic food, friendly and efficient service, we went based on TripAdvisor reviews and they are not wrong. Also do a takeaway service for 20% less which makes the food ridiculously cheap. One of those places you think twice about telling people just how good it is because you want to keep it a secret so it doesn't get too hard to get a table! 10/10

F.Sorry to have to post this after we have been visiting this restaurant since it opened and found it to be a little gem and reccomended to friends and family likewise loved it had party s here etc however after last nights visit for my son's birthday waited nearly an hour for starters which was only olives and bread the mains followed some time later by this time we had lost our appetites the staff seemed to be on a go slow I know it was busy but on the occasion we have been there has never been a problem don't know if it had anything with the owners not around we couldn't understand it really gutted because me and my wife love it there

M. S.Nice space but not the best greek food you could get. Not very good service when visited. The restaurant had a good variety of greek dishes but did't had grilled meat which is one of the most famous greek dishes like grilled pork skewers or chicken skewers (souvlaki) . Tha place has a nice decoration and is a nice atmosphere although not very comfortable when sitting next to the door especially on a cold day. The toilets are downstairs and there is a disable toilet on the ground floor. The restaurant is in a nice location in Liverpool and although we came from Manchester for the first time, it was easy to find. Prices where in an acceptable range. Same food would be much cheaper in Greece of course. The portions where decent and they can put any leftovers in a box for you to take. You have some good selection of beers including some greek beers hard to find in the uk. Music is traditional greek. Overall , it was a good greek experience but the food was not the greatest. Would recommend if you are really missed greek food
