I had a lovely Mothers day meal here. Food was fab and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Each mum was sent home with an orchid which was a lovely touch.

Almost perfect. Just a few minor issues. The rice had too much egg in it and all 3 portions came in one bowl. Which was disturbing. They only provided 2 spoons for 3 people? Strange. Theres no hurry sauce on the menu but you can order it. The rotating table on the..table was also annoying as it took up too much space. Would have been better without. Besides that, the food was fantastic. Quick to order, the food arrived very promptly. It was all on point. Price was right too. The lack of sugar free carbonated drinks left a lot to be desired. Highly recommended.

Fantastic banquet we had here a few nights ago. Restaurant was spotless and food excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will certainly be returning. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. If you like Chinese cuisine, then I suggest you give this place a try. It's not one to miss!

Street parking only, and can be difficult to find a spot. Didnt book, but should have as it is a very busy venue. Went early evening so there were families with young children and it was very noisy. I should imagine it to be quiet later. The food was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looked after very well by staff.

A busy restaurant so my advice is to book ahead, I visited with my partner and daughter and we had the banquet the food was fresh hot and tasted amazing the service was impeccable and friendly and the cost for the amount we ate was very good, definitely worth a visit.

Tried here for a change. Loved the food. Slightly different take on my normal takeaway. Very pleasant suprise. Will use again. Dishes we had contained a lot more saucepan expected(a positive thing). Different chefs cook same ingredients very differently... ratios of flavours etc. Nice big pieces of meat too. Happy days

This place is warm welcoming and friendly. It's great for family, friends and couples with a great menu that caters for everyone. A new child's menu recently introduced and good for vegetarians. A great selection on the drinks menu too. Service is excellent.Very clean and modern. Disabled access with a down stairs loo. Hair dryer and hair straighteners in the upstairs loo. We arrived here for a family meal. There was 12 of us. Staff were attentive and food was great even though we were a difficult table to deal with. When the bill came, it looked as though they missed off some items. We just decided to leave a tip that more than covers these items. We will return again.

Been here a number of times but somewhat disappointed this on this occasion. Food was good but our party of four were still hungry after finishing four £24 banquets. We're were given four of everything regarding the starters, one barbecue rib each, one prawn toast, one spring roll. The duck was fine but were given only 6 small pancakes. The three main courses were served on very small plates to be shared between the four of us, with two small pieces of beef, chicken and pork each and nowhere near enough rice for everyone. The soup starter, ice cream dessert were ok and the service was fast with waiters being attentive at all times.

What an experience!! The Food and Service are 5* and would totally recommend. On a busy Friday night we felt that our every needs were met with a smile. Attending with 9 other people for a wedding anniversary, drinks followed constantly, food was staged appropriately after each course with time in between so we didn't feel rushed. They also provided a cake which we didn't ask for, which was presented to family members who we were celebrating with. They then took a photo of the group which we received within 5mins in a card. We were all really impressed by this and its definitely all about the small detail that made the experience exceptional. Keep you the great work and see you soon! David

I went to the Orchard Gardens recently with friends. The place was beautiful inside, the seating areas catered for everyone be it a party or just a few people having a meal. The staff are lovely, they go out of their way to make sure you enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere. The food was really nice, well presented on the plates, absolutely five star place, I would recommend the Orchid Garden if you want nice food, nice staff and a nice place

The New Orchid Garden very nice restaurant to as a couple or a family.. Pricey but worth every penny spent!! Best advice I can give is to book a couple of days before, you go as it tends to get very, between 6:30 and 9pm. Staff very helpful and service with a smile

Having read the reviews of New Orchid I was hoping for an excellent meal. While the food was good, I was a little disappointed overall - the spicy chicken wraps I had as a starter were rather greasy and the Chicken in OK sauce I had as a main was rather dry. I suspect that if I had chosen other dishes this could have been a 4* review, but as it is I can only give it 3.

Superb Chinese restaurant. The staff are extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. The food matches the high level of service given too. With an extensive menu on offer, there is something for everyone's taste. The decor is tasteful and there is a huge and impressive aquarium centre stage. I would recommend to anyone. Decent amount of parking on road outside, or not too far away. After 6PM is ok on opposite side of road (double yellow lines).
