Beautiful restaurant. Popped in last minute from a beach road trip from manchester. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Food was EXQUISITE, flavours had lots of depth and good sized portions. You can always rate a place based on their lamb chops and these did not let us down, fell off the bone. Mackerel starter like something my grandma used to make, very authentic. Chicken and mince curry delish and the naan was freshly made. Really yummy, definitely come back if we were in area again.

Long-established Indian restaurant on the northern side of Formby. Very friendly service. Comprehensive Bangladeshi-style menu, well cooked and presented. Decor modern and well-maintained. Prices moderate.

We had to wait because of Ramadam ,they could cook until after 8 .the food was beautiful, had veggie korma and Ali made sure it was really good ,sometimes korma can be over sweet not here it really was delicious.

Ordered a takeaway from there and it arrived spot on estimated time of arrival. The food was fresh and piping hot and was really tasty! Excellent quality and excellent value for money. Was impressed with the quality and service when I ate in the restaurant - wasn't expecting the same from the takeaway but it was delicious, will definitely order again and would recommend it thoroughly.

Without doubt the best Indian I've ever been to. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was fresh and exciting. The menu was varied and the staff are happy to recommend something and cook it to your taste. Very reasonable price too! Will definitely be returning!

First time takeaway, VERY impressed with both quality and presentation of a meal for Ten on what would of been a very busy xmas break evening. Also presented with a free bottle of wine which is was a nice touch. I live in the South so I also appreciated the cheaper menu! Highly recommended.

Been many times and always had lovely food and very friendly service. The Sunday all you can eat buffet is great when you have children who think they don't like curry as they can try different things or just eat chicken pakora and chips.

Great food, wonderful staff and immaculately clean surroundings. We have visited Shanti on several occasions and all aspects of the restaurant have been superseded and this from someone who is not a fan of hot and spicy food. The menu has something for everyone.

Great food, service and always a smile from Ali! Always come here for our takeaway treat and out for a meal. Such good quality food and recommend the Chicken Nagga Zee curry, full of flavour! Family always get the Tandoori Chicken and Madras and cannot fault it. Recently started the loyalty key fob system where you can scan every time to get points towards future meals and drinks which is a great idea.

Probably the best place to eat in Formby. The food is perfect. They will tailor the heat of a dish for you, so if you like the taste of a Jalfrezi but find it's a bit too hot, they will make it milder. The staff are polite, friendly and very efficient. The atmosphere is is very pleasant and the restaurant is a great place to enjoy good food.
