Hands down the BEST burgers I have had so far..I'm not saying the ones I had before were terrible or not good enough, they were all great too.. however, the two burgers I had at @bgr.london were the best.. so good that I actually had two whole burgers!!! I ordered a beef burger that came with tons of melted cheese on top and had the tastiest beef I have had in my life along with some cheese and jalapeño filling which was out of this world. My 2nd burger was the firecracker one but I requested them to replace beef with chicken and boy was it good!! Can't wait to go again for more. Other than that I had some nachos which were absolutely divine. So filling it should be a main itself.. the wings were great too 😍 garlic chicken was sooo yummy too! For dessert I had fried oreo which was OK but the icecream was fab 👌 Staff were super nice and friendly. I had the bubblegum mocktail which was delicious and not too sweet so loved it. Ambiance: Cosy, comfy and well lit Halal options: All halal Location: 6min walk from South Woodford station Price: Reasonable Quality: Top!!!! Service: Excellent Taste: Out of this world

Been a few times and this visit was 10|10 the Mushroom burger was delicious and not dry at all. My kids enjoyed their meals and the Pink Panther drink was so refreshing. They had cookie dough on their dessert menu so had to try it. Was so satisfying. Loved it. Highly recommend the place. Hygiene and clean place is 5 star👍

I’ve tried several burger joints around East London and this is up there with the best of them. Good selection of nibbles to have as starters or sides, the chicken wings in particular are a good size with great flavours to choose from. The burgers were very well made, juicy but not greasy, good sized patties with quality meat that didn’t fall apart at the first bite. Not normally a fan of caramel or warm fruits but their Caramel Apple Slice was a treat, tasty but not too rich and a good sized portion. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Great selections on the menu, even for vegans like me, and the food was very nice. My kids cleaned their plate, which doesn’t happen often, and my husband said his burger was very good. We visited this place once in Dec 2021 and then in Jan 2022. The staff is very professional but at the same time very friendly. The ambience is perfect and cozy. Most importantly they have amazing variety of burgers, other starters and yummy variety of desserts and drinks. Note they do have vegeterian and vegan option too which is so helpful

Was very quiet in the restaurant, most likely because I visited on New Year's Day, music was playing and our waitress was very bubbly. It wasn't out of this world, just a standard burger restaurant, the bubblegum mocktail was nice (sweet though, if you don't like sweet drinks) and my holy smokes burger was standard, brioche bun was a little dry and not 100% all the flavours worked together for me, but the beef patty was nicely seasoned. I excepted my boneless wings to have a crispy coating but they were really soft and covered in a wet sauce (but crispy wings are just my preference).

Great customer service. We had lunch on Saturday and ordered two starters and two mains. We also ordered a kids meal and then had desserts. The drinks were Pink Panther and Strawberry mocktail. The chicken full hot was ok, and the BGR original burger was really good. The chicken strip kids meal was very plain and needed to salsa sauce. The presentation was good and staff were attentive. We will come back for another visit with the family as it as a good calm atmosphere. The decorations is retro and goes well with the food.

I saw this restaurant on Instagram and I said to myself I must go down here to see what the hype is about. Firstly the staff were amazing i went to order the original burger and the waitress told me not to order that due to it being on the brink of removal from the menu as the burger is too thick and she didnt want me to not enjoy it, so i asked her what she would recommend, so she went onto recommend a burger for me and it was amazing, the fries were not overcooked neither. My friend ordered the boneless wings and fries and as a side we got the onion rings. The onion rings were amazing so freshly done and perfect amount of batter around the onion ring. The overall presentation of the food was lovely also. The only negative I have is, i ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it was beautiful but the glass was overflowing constantly making the table wet and my hands sticky other than that this would have been a 5* review. Highly reccomend this place and the price is very reasonable.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the quality of the food let's this place down. The menu sounded great but what was delivered was average at best, the meat was chewy and I also had hard gristle in my burger. The food was cooked and presented well but the quality of the ingredients was not good. We won't be visiting again, we would have preferred McDonald's for a fraction of the price

Great vegan options, had a strawberry milkshake and a great burger and chips. Ordered via deliveroo, everything arrived within 45 mins of ordering which is fantastic for freshly cooked food from quite far away from my house. Portions are large and everything arrived hot (or cold for the milkshake). Prices were quite high, however for a one off treat on a day off I was happy to pay £20 for the meal, drink and delivery.

Hot n Spicy Wings: great flavour and perfect amount of heat - 10/10 Korean Wings (boneless): not an easy flavour to get right but these were really tasty - 9/10 Onion Rings: not a big fan of Onion Rings in general but these were a good size, not oily and held together well - 8/10 Mac N Cheese Bites: good size, good crunch, good consistency (not too runny or dry) and tasty - 9/10 (2nd only to Meat Liquors) Holy Smokes Burger: tasty, juicy but not dripping, spot on cooked to medium and the turkey bacon tasted great - 10/10 Kentucky Burger: rarely do I order chicken burgers at a burger restaurant but having tried this I have a new found appreciation for them - 9/10 Mocktails were some of the best i’ve had and the lemon drizzle waffle was very nice (if you like lemon in desserts) - 10/10

I’m vegan so the food to me was nice but for my wife the food is dreadful and the chicken was under cooked and some parts were over cooked I gave 2 based on what I thought but I didint give 5 as the customer service and phone service was awful just appalling I booked a table and the girl on the phone said ok cool bye I was in a state of shock I won’t be visiting again the place has gone to pot it won’t last much longer if they carry on

Cannot recommend enough! Delivery is quite far away from as and ordered from Here for the second time yesterday and it did not disappoint. Food arrived hot & fresh, halloumi fries by the the BEST we’ve ever had (we try these when travelling and never been as good as these). Ordered few stuff and surprisingly the starters really filled me up. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and found that it wasn’t too over the top. For the starters we ordered garlic parmesan wings, jerk chicken wings, hot chilli wings and beef chilli nachos. I was pleasantly surprised with the nachos and chilli wings. Chicken was succulent and tender so defo a plus! For the mains I had BGR original burger with egg as extra and boy did it explode in my mouth. The chopped onions was done nicely and not over cooked and it wasn’t greasy neither! To quench my thirst I had the original mojito and it was badass as it had that zing to it too! Portion size was good as all of us were fat and full! 👌🏽 Overall I defo would not mind going there again with the lads.

Food was OK, you could tell the chicken wasn't of good quality even though the menu stated the food was of the highest quality. If youre using the 2 for 1 deal make sure you tell the waitress as apparently this makes a difference? Not sure why but the waitress apparently did me a favour by activating my code.

We did a large takeaway order - from burgers, milkshakes, mojitos to waffles. Can’t fault the food at all - it was delicious and warm! Will definitely be ordering again as I haven’t seen a place that provides such quality and good food. A lot of places have opened up since lockdown and sadly lack any expertise when it comes to burgers but you can tell that these guys are burger specialists. A lot of detail in each burger, sauces thoughtfully matched and the sides complimented the food. Also can’t wait to dine in once lockdown is over! Glad I have found this place.

So i ordered the chilli chips, Holy smokes and the New York vanilla cheese cake. • Chilli chips - the chips size is chunky, with chilli sause covered all over it. It tasted ok, it was simple. • The Holy Smokes burger was definitely filling and it was nice but the beef tasted so plain and tough to bite into. Tbh I've tried better. This was average. • The new York vanilla cheese cake was nice. I chose the raspberry sause. I really liked the dessert. Though again it was average, my taste buds have tried better. BUT this cake is still not bad. As much as it is a good place too eat, in my opinion I wouldn't go again because it just wasn't wow to me. Its like, I've tried it, now I know the taste, its normal, next place. Its not somthing to make what to come back for more...

After reading reviews me and my partner was abit weary of going as they were very mixed. But i have to say we were pleasently suprised. The food was tasty with good portions and the milshakes were very nice, i would have given it a five star but the chips were a big let down. We canot coment on desert as we was so full we could'nt fit it in. Also our waitress was very friendly and very attentive. Also as a bonus they accept taste card. Overall well worth a visit.

I'm usually very tough when it comes to reviewing restaurants but I have to admit I was very impressed with this one. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I went there hungry and came out very full and very satisfied. I had a colossal sized burger that I did not expect and chilli fries. The burger alone would have been enough. It was cooked perfectly and the fries were delicious, if not very spicy which was the intention of having them in the first place. My friend ordered nachos as a starter and could not finish them as they were plentiful and smothered in cheese. They certainly do not skimp on the helpings. In my opinion all I can say is don't listen to the haters, they have their own agenda but go there and try it for yourself, especially if you're going to the cinema afterwards as it's only across the road. Definitely recommended.

I had a very enjoyable experience. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the starters were; I ordered the buffalo wings and the BBQ wings. Usually I don’t think burger places can make them right, however these were perfect. The sauce was just right, not too spicy but still had a good kick. The wings were made well too so the chicken just came straight of the bone. I don’t like my burgers too big so I ordered the classic, this burger was well presented and was a good size, and it wasn’t overcooked or dry. I could actually taste the meat as opposed to some burger places I have been to where the meat just tastes like plastic. Personally, I would have liked to have caramelised onions on it and I'm sure the kitchen would've obliged if I specified this when making the order. My friend had ordered something else called "The Original" which had it all. I also ordered chili chips and these were nice and crunchy with plenty of sauce on them too. In fact, they were very similar to saffron kitchens chilly chips. The price was very reasonable for the quality and portion of food. Most of these new gourmet burger places have a hefty price tag on their burgers so sometimes I leave disappointed, feeling like I have overpaid for the standard of food. With BGR the price was very reasonable for the quality and portion of food. The customer service was excellent; the staff are very friendly and quick to hand when you want anything. Hopefully the food and service can stay consistent and BGR will be a regular!

Very impressed with this place. I knew about the opening since we live locally, and since I enjoy my burgers was interested to try this out. I have now been twice, and each time it has been a good experience. The food quality is very good, example was our second visit we had the BBQ wings which were a good size and had a great taste to it, which still had something a little different just so you know it is not a bog standard BBQ sauce. The burger is one of the better quality burgers I have personally had and the chips were good as well. BGR is well decorated and maintained and seems to have a good friendly atmosphere which would suit families or just friends looking for somewhere to hang out. Being local it is definitely on my 'will visit again' list

This place is amazing. I was feeling a burger after seeing one on Instagram from America. Searched the net and decided here. Was not let down at all. The food was made to order and looks like the pictures. The meat is so moist even on a well done burger that I have. They didn't have a double cheese burger on the menu, but had no problem making one for me as well as burning my burger bun as I don't do white bread. Food worth the wait. I was over satisfied and have now found my new burger joint. To top it off got. 4 different specialty burgers, 4 fries (they do a variety) and 3 milkshakes for around £50 give or take an extra £5. But I promise u won't be disappointed. Bon appetite.

Twice I have been to this place twice I have been very impressed. I had the kentucky chicken burger (i think thats what its called) and my days was that a banger. Kids chicken strips took me by surprise as chicken was nice and tender. Excellent food and I do recommend this place. I went with my wife the first time, second time was with family. Both experiences were good. So if you want a date night this is the place, family time this is the place. I will be back to eat again. The wings in BGR are to die for, I would definitely recommend them to any wings fan, The wings are the reason this review is so high and I cannot fault them especially the sauce and tenderness of the meat. 5/5 on the wings. As for the burger I only had the chicken burger so cannot speak for the quality of beef but the KFC burger in my opinion was mediocre at best, the chicken was bland and certainly didn't taste fresh, It was drenched in mayo (The dripping out the bun kind) and definitely does not stack up to some of its local competitors in the market today however I will knowledge this is not a specialist fried chicken shop but I expected more than what I received in terms of the fried chicken quality especially when I am paying a premium price . I Would definitely go again as the wings showed that there is some serious talent somewhere lurking in the kitchen of BGR but that talent was clearly absent in the creation of this burger.

Finally a great local burger place. Had the Holy Smoke burger which was exactly what i expected and more. Honestly the best restaurant London has ever had wish they’d expand to south London tho as I have to travel all the way to enjoy their succulent dishes. I have visited here 3 times now and i can't get enough of these burgers. I have tried beef, lamb and chicken and they were up with the best burgers i have tasted. The quality and quantity in the meat brings home it's gourmet burger style food. Surprisingly myself and my wife still had space for dessert and if you haven't tried Deep Fried Oreos then they are a must! I have never experienced Deep Fried Oreos anywhere else and they were delicious. The staff were very pleasant and polite and the decor and design is amazing.

This is based on the Veggy Burger (I am what I Yam) I had; cost the same as all the rest of the Premium burgers, but I have had much nicer Vegan burgers. So I was a little disappointed the Veggy burger taste was average but priced the same as other premium burger.
