Reviews of Bill's Clink Street Restaurant
G. Y.
Food is simple but yum. Also can't beat the price here!
Server was also super attentive and nice. Appreciate the small details such as warmed plates
J. A.
I always loved dining at Bill’s but this time around was disappointed. They have a good offer at the moment, when you order a main and a cocktail you get the same cocktail and dessert for free.
We tried the Passion Fruit Martini and Cotton Candy cocktail (however they ran out of cotton candy) - both on a sweet side and rather weak.
For mains we had chicken with goats cheese and tomato sauce and sirloin steak.
The steak seemed to be a cheap cut, chicken was okay but nothing special to come back for. Overall a very average meal.
Loved the dessert - brownie with salted caramel sauce.
We paid £52 for 2 mains, 4 cocktails and 2 desserts which is really good value but as I said - the food and drinks weren’t anything extraordinary. However love the interior, service and overall vibe of Bill’s.

Lovely little location with delicious food. Staff were a bit hectic and we were often had muliple servers trying to take the same order from us but understandable when it was so busy (it was a sunday morning and just about managed to squeeze a booking in that morning). Also the staff were still really friendly and pleasant with us. Love the typical Bills decor and had a lovely time having brunch here before popping to the Tate modern for the day.
S. C.
Always good food, big menu, dedicated menu for gluten free and friendly staff. Not a perfect for me but never disappointed going here.
J. E.
Lovely breakfasts in a good location if you're exploring borough market and tower bridge area. Worth booking at the weekend as it gets busy. Really recommend the Eggs Royale.
N. R.
Nice meal, but for 5 people was £165 - single bottle of wine and 4 beers, 2 puddings - so was pricey.
D.
Flawless pancake day experience. All you can eat with fruit or bacon options.
Staff were quick, attentive and polite.
Pancakes were thick, tasty, covered in syrup and butter. ( I opted for bacon).
You'd be lucky to get through 2 plates.
j. l.
The roast garlic and herb bread is very delicous. Beware of the fish oie, it is really hot and hurt my lips.
N.
The set menu is great value at £13.95 for two courses. Food and service was great. Decor was nice and relaxed. Location is great, just next to the riverside with views of the city.
T. S.
Had Saturday breakfast there. Pancakes are amazing, very nice interior. Would love to go again.

The restaurant is close by London's wonderful Borough food market and close to the River Thames where you can take a lovely walk. Staff are friendly and there are places to sit outside. Food was okay. Although I was served initially a cold breakfast. The manager handled this incident well though by offering FREE coffees and getting replacement food sorted.
L. D.
That was such a great meal. We all enjoyed the food that was delicious and the service added to the mood. Totally recommended.
I. G. D.
Very nice place with delicious breakfast. However it’s too crowded on the weekends and the staff wasn’t friendly at all
J. D.
Enjoyed the beetroot and goats cheese risotto. They have drinks with the cannabis ingredient in, which are apparently healthy, but tasted a bit like fruity tonic water. Staff were friendly and we got a table for 2 without booking (Thursday 7:30)
J. A.
Ate with a friend and had the set menu. The food was very average and the portions small for the price. The staff were nice though.
G. K.
My review is very positive to excellent restaurant in London, I loved the approach of the manager Lida, she helped us to accommodate to the table, even staff were very aware about Allergen and intolerance,
Restaurant was not busy in the begining, as it picked up later evening still service top notch,
Best thing food came so quickly all hot and fresh,
We would love to meet chef and wish them good luck
Very positive team
G. A.
Fab service. Fab food. Fab cocktails. Pace yourself because the dessert is worth it! Great menu and even catering for fussy gf vegetarian. Highly recommend.
J. L.
The service was good, we had a long-blonde haired waitress that was very cheerful and friendly. The food was pretty great too, try the chicken dumplings as a starter. The atmosphere was very clean and nice, impressive. Although the only major downside is that the food took quite long to serve, especially since the restaurant was mostly empty at that time.
D. G.
Great set menu (wonderful crispy sea bass!). Angelo and the team did a great job of looking after us and accom dating requests on a very busy evening.

There’s plenty of choice on the menu- I just fancied something light and so went for the Eggs Benedict with Fries. There’s not much more to say, really…service was good, prices were reasonable. It did the job!
A. A.
A nice restaurant close to London Bridge. Good food, great range of gin and tonics, and good service. The fish pie was great! Lots of fish!
B. R. W.
Every dishes are so good better than what I expected for the chain restaurants. However the service was so slow. It took so long to get our meal and it’s not busy time.
H. G.
Staff good. However one breakfast was a bit cold so disappointing.
M. L.
had a lovely breakfast, very cosy place, reasonable prices.
D. C.
This location is fantastic. I just had surgery and am staying at a nearby hotel, and I'm so lucky to have delivery from this wonderful restaurant. The breakfast is delicious, and the fillet of sole is amazing, both the entree and the sandwich. If you happen to be on the upper east side, this is a great place to eat.🤩👍👍
C. O.
The food was ok. Cocktails were cheap as they had all day happy hour. The night was ruined by them forgetting my friend's dessert order twice. They did give it to her for free in the end and a cocktail on the house.
A. S.
Ordered Bill's Breakfast with a cup of tea.
Both came out within 10mins.
Tea came without milk, had to ask 3 waiters for milk and finally after we had finished breakfast and asking for a 4th time they decided to bring milk.
They seem to be more concerned about getting customers in and out as quickly as possible.
I would avoid and try elsewhere unless its your only choice
S. G.
The atmosphere here was beautiful and cosy. The food was good. And the location is perfect for many occasions (hang outs, dates, meetings). The eggs royal I ordered were savory, the eggs were poached perfectly. The Hollandaise sauce could have been better but was good nonetheless. The only thing I didnt like was that they gave me a seat in a darker corner, even though their weren't many people there at that point.
E. D.
Nice british restaurant moderate food
fish & chips and salad was OK, Burger was not cooked very well.
Nice atmosphere inside, the seats were tight.
Service was friendly.
If you want to see a british restaurant you can try it.
H.
Great atmosphere in this place! Was a nice place to sit for a quick cocktail on a warm Saturday.
Unfortunately we weren't too fond of the cocktail we picked but that's all down to personal taste! You can tell they are made well.
I cannot comment on the food other than everything the waiters walked past with looked amazing!
L. B.
It was quite busy but the food was really good. I would recommend only getting 3 out of 5 pancakes because the 5 stack was a lot bigger than I expected. I can also eat a lot so don’t risk it. The staff were very nice but they were very busy so it was hard to catch their attention.
P. B.
Great breakfast and pancakes. It was busy but they seated us quickly even though it was busy. Quick service.
A. W.
The 3 stars are for the food. With 2 vegans and a dairy allergy in our group the food on offer was delicious. We visited as a table of 4 and from the start there were issues. After we were taken to our table we were forgotten for 15 min. Then we started to try and attract attention. After which we were ignored for a further 15 min despite attempts. When I finally got enough attention to ask for an allergy menu I was met with a snort of derision and a grunt. After my partner got up from the table and approached a member of staff we were finally able to take our order. The food arrived promptly, couldn't fault it all but then we had to ask for the table to be cleared and for pudding menus. Again can't fault the deserts, they were delicious but after asking twice after 45 min for the bill I had to insist that the service charge be removed. Great food but abysmal service. I'll be back to Bill's but not their Clink Street premises.
S. B.
Quirky restaurant, which I like. Staff were really nice and efficient. Food was good apart from my chicken burger being overcooked so when asked how our food was, I told them. They did offer to replace it but I went for the free pudding instead 😂
Would recommend it though.
M. J.
My friend and I stopped here for dinner. It was busy but we were given a warm welcome and shown to our table promptly.
We decided to have a selection of starters followed by dessert.
We chose:
Cheesy truffle fries
I felt more truffle was needed as the cheese overpowered the truffle.
Chicken Dumplings
Calamari
Garlic Bread
Halloumi Fries
All of the above were tasty and well presented.
Desserts were served to the table next to us so we were looking forward to dessert and chose the Carrot Cake Donuts to share, these looked delicious however the oil in which they were fried was not fresh/needed to be changed so they were returned. The staff did not quibble about this and when our bill arrived, which incidentally was very reasonable considering we had a couple of glasses of prosecco and soft drinks, it had been adjusted to reflect the dessert being returned.
The bathrooms needed some attention. There was no toilet paper, the hand dryers didn't work, there were no hand towels and the floor in the cubicle was wet. The bathrooms were not dirty per se but more frequent checks to spot issues as they arose. I reported my concerns and the member of staff responded that she would inform the manager who would ensure these matters were dealt with.
Over all, I would eat here again, the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.
K. B.
Pretty little place on atmospheric Clink St.
Service was excellent. Waitress tended to my solo needs first before getting an order from a group of 12 so I wouldn't have to wait and I didn't. Fast service on my coffee and Red Grapefruit juice followed within 10 minutes by my entrée.
Left my cell when I departed and realised 15 minutes later. Went back and they had retrieved it for me. So thankful for that.
All around great breakfast and such a pretty bright place to start the day.
Thank you.
C. M.
The set meal was very reasonable (half price during the eat out to help out scheme and complimentary glass of wine) unfortunately the staff were so rushed off their feet the service wasn't great. Chicken dumplings to start were tasty and the burger was ok
F. P.
Great food, well cooked, nicely presented and sweetly served. Drinks are a bit pricey, especially the water.
S. G.
Great atmosphere and location. Staff were friendly and prompt on service considering it was busy and food was great. Surfaces cleaned down in between sittings and temperature check taken on arrival after track and trace QR code. Masks are mandatory to be worn to get into the restaurant and walking through but can be removed once seated. Would definitely go back
M. S.
If you ignore the wait for our booked table, then we had a wonderful time and loved the fantastic food. Definitely come back!
N.
Hidden at the corner of an alleyway near some interesting tourist landmarks, this branch of Bill's presents a quirky yet sophisticated atmosphere in which to dine and seek refuge from the cold and the tourists outside.
The food here is varied but you'll want to cash in on the three course lunch menu for £15. Avoid the wild mushroom soup as it's overly lemony but get the chicken breast for mains and hot brownie for dessert. They're not spectacular but they're certainly very good.
Service is friendly and fast. You may be asked to fill out a survey on a mobile device at the end of your meal - although it says it takes 1 minute, it took me closer to 2, but it's up to you if you want to fill it at all. My only other tip is to avoid sitting near the doors as cold breezes are common near the river.
Overall: highly recommended.
D. V.
I've been there with a group of around 10 people. We were served very fast, our dinner was warm and tasty and stuff in the restaurant made our time spent there worthy. Atmosphere was also pleasant, with music in the background, loud enough so you can hear it, but still it doesn't make it difficult for you to speak and hear other people. Prices in this restaurant for London are reasonable.
T. S.
Very busy and vibrant atmosphere. Service was friendly but slow.
Food was good
A. A.
We enjoyed this chain of Bills. Visited with the wife and kid, and the staff were very accommodating with a pram! The food was good and service was friendly. 4pm on a Sunday was pretty quiet....
A. F.
Pleasant atmosphere and great coffee, but the breakfast was mediocre.
M. P.
Nice place near Borough market with good food and nice atmosphere. The place itself is a bit crowded and the service a bit slow. The food is good but a bit overpriced for what you pay e.g. £15 for ribs you could have the whole rack elsewhere.
I'll still recommend this place though.
S. F.
Food was OK and reasonably priced. Missed the breakfast menu which seemed to finish around 11.30 (though there were pancakes being served when we got inside).
Golden latte tasted very healthy! (Pictured)
S. M.
The location of the restaurant is pretty good, we had to wait for a few minutes to get seated. The food was served without delay and was pretty delicious. The hummus and halloumi plate was really amazing!
R. M.
Nice meal out with our daughter. Food was good, nice that they have a children's menu, accessibility wasn't clear.
M. T.
Group dinner, well priced set menu, tasty and much better than I expected, efficiently served.
C. M.
What you would expect from a central London eatery. And in terms of character, the name Bill just about sums it up.
Also, getting the bill was easy, so lives up to the name.
M. A.
Have had 2 really good experiences at this Bill's. Both were for dinner and there's lots of choice. The pan fried seabass and the ribeye steak were both really delicious, and very generous portions! Good service and the Bill's app is really good for getting points to then spend on meals. Staff were helpful in using the app.
V. T.
We came across Bills by accident and luckily got a table. The food was so good, we had proper steak burgers and chicken, mushrooms and mash followed by coconut ice cream. The best meal we've had all week, proper good food. Thanks so much to Lesly for serving us and magically finding a flake 😂😍 Hoping to go back on Thursday 🤞
S. O.
Busy and nice decorated restaurant in a nice location. Staff are good and the service is quick.
My burger was unnaturally soaked in oil and bacon was over done.
Sticky toffee pudding was really good.
L. G.
Dog friendly. It took a little while to get seen initially but the food was great and service was good.
K. S.
We were in a hurry when we entered, and they made sure we were fed and happy and on time for out next engagement 😃 The food was amazing and the staff was friendly! 🥰
c. l.
Food was excellent and plenty of it however they got one starter and one main order incorrect!! It was changed however it was just disappointing.
M. L.
Really nice place to eat, staff were very attentive. Well worth a visit
V. F.
Very nice place just 20 minutes walking from the Tower of London. I had calamari and chicken skewers and were both amazing, same for the drinks. The place was very clean and the staff super nice, especially Andrea that has been extremely professional and helpful! Highly recommended.
M. L.
Brilliant for breakfast. Scrambled eggs first class and excellent service
E. A.
Lovely and yummy adress on southbank
B. A.
Great food at a reasonable cost. Great service, friendly staff. The steak special was well worth the price. Decent house white wine as well. Happy to recommend 👌👍
P. M.
Went here for breakfast and immediately got a seat at the windows upon request.
Free tap water was served after a couple of minutes, unfortunately the waitress forgot to check in our order. After 20 minutes after we ordered she apologized and asked us to wait just a couple more minutes.
The coffee and breakfast then arrived after around 5 more minutes so it was pretty quick after all, just a little disappointing to wait roughly 30 minutes for a coffee.
The food was delicious and well served.
Even though service forgot our order, the service was friendly and pleasent.
M. S.
I had breakfast at Bill's. It didn't start off well. I was seated by the manager and she took my order. After about 15 - 20 minutes nothing came to the table. I asked one of the servers about my meal. Nothing was in the computer system. The manager came to me and apologized for not entering the order. She said that the breakfast was on the house. Woo Hoo! That made me feel better. I has Bill's breakfast which was quite good. Bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms and toast. I would go back again.
K. H.
Left to enjoy out Time Out voucher meal of three courses plus glass of wine for £19.95. Not rushed in and out. Delicious food in a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. Phots of our puddings - cinnamon doughnuts and lemon merangue.
D. B.
Lovely food but slow service.
M. C.
Apart from waiting 10 minutes for my food after everyone else got theirs, the food and service was good.
B. G.
Very stylish and at the same time cosy place to grab something to eat or have a cocktail 🍸😀 would come back again. not too pricy
P. F.
2 free glasses of wine with every main meal
Or £10 off a bottle of wine over £25. Had to go on the website as they got confused to what they where offering. The food was nice.
J. M.
Ordered the burger with bacon and cheese it's good but it doesn't stand out. The place is small but warm. Service is good and the staff are friendly. Deserts are small for the price.
R. D.
Not bad. But not to good either, fish dish we had over cooked but still edable
T. K.
Cozy atmosphere with friendly staffs... Halloumi sticks, stone baked bread served with oil & aged balsamic are recommended as starters while the Mac & cheese and fruit pancakes are recommended as main dishes... excellent choice for brunch 👌🏻
D. m.
Food was good, they ran out of bottles of prosseco but we could order glasses of prosecco, be careful of your handbags ladies 2 girls had theirs stolen from outside. Do No Put Your Handbags Over the Back of your Chairs!!!!
E. J.
As a coeliac, I always like coming to Bill's. Today was the first time at this location and the staff was lovely and found us a nice table. I honestly would travel miles and miles to get their chocolate brownie. It's beyond this world yummy. Their gluten free brunch is also great, my favourite is avocado on toast with poached eggs and extra bacon. I'm not a big fan of their drinks though. I currently don't drink alcohol and I think their juices are a little overpriced seeing they don't make them on-site, but they come bottled (and served in a carafe over ice). They have some alcohol free cocktails that I haven't tried, but I think £6.95 for a virgin cocktail/mocktail is a robbery. Also, don't really like their breakfast/earl grey tea. If you want to charge £2,50 for a pot of tea, it should be a decent brand and not just a PG tips-style tea.
I've had their fish pie on so many occasions, and it's good. However once it came frozen in the middle which just proves what I already thought, they pre-make most of the food and just heat it up. Same thing happened with the brownie once (still equally delicious). I just think this is the kind of information/details clients should be entitled to know about before spending money.
Also like many other restaurants, they add a discretionary 12,5% service charge. I'm so used to it by now, but I still think it should be the clients choice to give tips.
K. M.
I love vegan glow bowl but it’s one real vegan dish full of veggie flavour. It will be good to put more choices.
D. J. B.
Great food: service is a tad slow but worth the wait on quality of the food.
J. D.
Dog friendly. Decent food. Decent staff. Tad expensive. Dog friendly.
S. P.
Really enjoyed it. Manager very friendly. Eggs Benedict can't be bettered.
M. R.
Food is great British comfort food. Fun staff.
R.
Great restaurant !
.
Spent time here with my research grup at KCL. Their foods and desserts are awesome !
K. K.
Great food, great location, reasonable prices.
Unfortunately we were let down by the service from not one, but three members of staff. Our white wine was served at room temperature, when we asked about it we were just provided with a class with ice. Asked for water to accompany our order around 4 times and still didn't receive it so just gave up, when our mains arrived we waited for cutlery which never arrived so we had to go and find a member of staff, same story with the bill. No one checked on the food either, pretty disappointing show all in all.
G. L.
Excellent food and great service. Very helpful staff
K. G.
Great food and fantastic service even when the restaurant is busy.
J. C.
Good cocktails, nice staff, awesome decor, definitely will come back :)
G. B.
Lovely little place, great food and drinks. Friendly service. Nice staff. Will definitely be returning

Very good staff and good choice of late Sunday lunch menu.

Really great food and very friendly and helpful staff! Definitely a great spot to try new food and enjoy a great atmosphere. Their cappuccino is great!
G. G.
Nice place the food was ok and the service was not bad
B. C.
Visited a few branches now and never been disappointed. Would recommend.

Awesome restaurant. The service is wonderful and the water melon juice here is fantastic.

One of our favorite coffee places along the Thames, it has the right atmosphere, great service, excellent food
Recommended !

Food was very good. Service pretty good but new server let it down a little. Will return
M. Z.
So far so good! Staff very kind with me and my son... I ordered a duck pie and it is delicious ⭐️
M. M.
Was good . Just fish pie is bit greasy to me xD but was nice dinner.
M. P. H. T.
Really great stack of pancakes!
G. T.
Very good place to go food was great.staff were great wife in a wheelchair ♿ and they fetched a ramp to get her in.brilliant
J. E.
The food was lovely. The staff were lovely, if over-stretched. But, although there was a temperature-taking set-up at the entrance, this wasn't used. Nor was there anywhere to use the NHS covid 19 QR app that i could see.The tables were not distanced in the way that they are in other restaurants . I hope we don't regret our first visit......
K. I. (.
I have always liked this restaurant and today was also good. As in the staff were all very friendly and attentive. It was very quiet. But the reason for a 3 star rating was because the toilet was not clean and was very smelly. Very off putting
C. H.
Super cute place. Value was outstanding and service was excellent
J. H. T.
The restaurant setting is nice and in a good location.
I also really like that you get asked about any allergies they should be aware of when you first sit down at the table.
My food (Chicken Green Curry) was lovely but one of the people in my party was really disappointed in the Crab and Courgette Risotto as it was quite bland.
I ordered the Lemon Meringue Pie in a Glass for desert, which I hoped would cool me down on such a hot day but I found it too sweet and couldn't finish it which was a shame. It was tasty though.
I would recommend this place to friends as overall we had a nice time.
J. W.
Visiting from USA, found this place to be great. Amazing food and very friendly staff, far cheaper than I expected for how amazing everything was.
M. M.
Good value, decent menu, good location.
V. B.
Bill's was great, food was lovely service was warm and friendly. Looking forward to going back!
M. G.
After 3 months I was finally able to eat in one of my favourite restaurant in London. The food is always amazing: so tasteful and very generous portions. I was so glad to come back. Everything was very good especially with the servce of Vincenzo. So professional and friendly, he spoke with us and made sure that everything was perferct. Very attentive service and a great asset for the restaurant.
We will definitely come back!!!
A. P.
Nice breakfast. The service was very fast.
N. W.
A nice little hidden away Bill's, good food as expected and very accommodating of my slightly rowdy toddler.
C. G. (.
Really glad Bills reopened today. The staff were lovely, good service and food was excellent as always. However they seemed hampered by the absurd regulations imposed. I found being asked to give my details and have my temperature taken a violation of my rights and privacy. The waiter felt terrible asking and I understand that Bills feel they had to implement this. However these crippling restrictions will put customers off and destroy the hospitality industry. Based of feedback from their staff and other customers, I would urge Bills to rethink their rules or customers will vote with their feet and go elsewhere.
R. P.
Alright chain food experience, provided the table with water in a hot day which was nice but didn't feel in particularly good hands. The waitress was possibly a new addition so didn't feel comfortable discussing the allergens with the menu. Also disconcerting that the mushroom chicken dish we required was unavailable due to lack of chicken yet the salad we ordered as an alternative came with a chicken breast? Minute steak was ok and the chips were a small portion, definitely seemed it on such a large plate. Burger was standard and the sweet potato fries were also quite a small portion. Atmosphere was lovely and chic location.
h. p.
Nice place with an interesting deco. Very good service and great food and drinks.
K. W.
Great atmosphere, lovely decor and the breakfast was so nice. The menu had a great selection
D. B.
Lovely meal with excellent gluten free options.
A. W.
Great food, well served by friendly staff.
R. M.
Staff were great. Had dinner - food portions were quite small for the prices - my friend had to order more food - the veg wellington 'main' didn't really come with any sides. I had the glow bowl - the butternut squash was undercooked and there wasn't really much sauce or hummus so the falafal was pretty dry to eat (though tasty). Another friend had a veg platter and liked it. So maybe the meals are hit and miss? The decor is great and ingredients are there, I would just hope for more flavour and better portions for these prices, and more vegetarian options would be great as there wasn't much to choose from.
V. P.
Would be better if the staff won't start to take the plate away while I'm eating from the same plate. But otherwise a really good place. Beautiful presentation of the food
D.
Great service & a wide variety of meals to choose from. Definitely going back at some point!
A. H.
Good variety of tasty food. My friends both gad rib-eye and I had the chicken salad, all was very good quality and tasty! Service was good, and food reasonably priced - probably expensive by most standards, but this is right on the South Shore Walk, and beside the Clink - steak approx £20. Can recommend.
D. N.
Had Brunch on the Eat Out to Help Out offer. Good brunch. Great gluten-free Sourdough bread. A tad pricy but with discount good. Great responsive staff!
A. C.
We had lunch here with my sister. I like the interior of the place, the vibe. The service was a let down, they forgot we ordered dessert if we hadn't remind it to them, they wouldn't serve it to us. The food was good though.
A. C.
Had an enjoyable dinner here, food was very good. I was impressed how well they deal with food allergies - my daughter has a nut allergy and the staff were very helpful and gave us confidence they took it seriously. Would definitely eat here again and recommend.
K. D.
Wonderful environment in a cool location! Clink Street is about a block away from the Thames but a lot quieter and charming.
The service was prompt and EXTREMELY friendly! Our waitress was awesome and everyone seemed happy to be there.
The food and drinks were delicious as well - we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered.
C. W.
Great FOH staff. Very accommodating.
Food: Sirloin Steak was rather gristle but cooked to perfection.
Broccoli and sugar snap peas had merely been shown the pan - al dente I love but these were, quite simply, RAW.
Mistakes by the bar staff with virtually every drink we ordered.
Good, bustling location. Comfortable seating outside.
Disabled loo had water all over the floor - bit slippery and dangerous.

Lively restaurant, great decor and food was lovely
3.
Absolutely brilliant! Loved the food the Bills burger was great with streaky bacon! All waiters were nice my friend had the ancient grain bowl looked amazing. Food came quickly and we didn't have to wait long to get in(We didn't book first). Would go again. For definite.
D. N.
Fresh tasty breakfast , really good location just by borough market , friendly staff well worth a visit but book at the weekend
S. P.
Really lovely location, affordable prices and good quality.
E. P.
Good service. Good food. No complaints
J. S.
The food was ok but service was quite disappointing
D. R.
We stopped by for a mid afternoon meal; Bill's Fish Pie was amazing, although we couldn't say the same about the service. The restaurant wasn't busy but the servers required prompting and because we sat outside we have had to go inside to request service. Later, we read some reviews which echoed our own, so we decided to try again at different times. Our second visit was in the evening, once again sitting outside. We had an enthusiastic server, the restaurant was busy and the food was fantastic. We had our third visit recently, for breakfast, and we were floored by how delicious the food was. We had a range of different servers that morning and they were all very personable. Out of three different times we enjoyed our breakfast there the most. We can always depend on the delicious food but it was the service that were inconsistent. We would rate our overall experience at Bill's 4.5 stars if we could.
C. C.
Great food, excellent customer service. 👌🏾
D. B.
Good service and good food. Very cosy restaurant. Staff didn't rush us at all.
K. G.
It was a lovely day and there were some outside tables so we could sit in the sun. Restaurant inside was spacious and well air conditioned (a bit too well). Nice menu with plenty if choice and reasonably priced considering its City setting. Good drinks menu too with wine, beer and a selection of cocktails. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor of the restaurant us quirky and fun.
C.
Lovely place, the breakfast was awesome, the waitress really nice and we had a good time (with good music!).
M. L.
A great place to eat at every hour. The service is great all the waiters were very kind and they even have different languages spoken. The food is great, with a lot of flavours easy to eat and a lot of types of food. The price is great and theres a lot of quality. The restaurant is a little bit small but is very good distributed and the decoration is great. For all of that i give It 5 stars.
A. M. H.
Best coffee around. Delicious breakfast. Good GF options. Good service.

Went for dinner and though it was busy we were seated straight away. Starters of chicken dumplings and fried halloumi were good. However, we then waited half an hour for our mains, which we didn't mind much as we weren't in a hurry, but it was still too long. I'd chosen the burger special I saw advertised on the wall, which was chicken breast with turmeric from what I recall. I asked the waitress what came with it, as in, inside the bun, but she didn't understand and was repeating 'fries', so I didn't push because I'm not that fussy. Anyway when it arrived it was huge and filled with salad, hummus (which I could've done without) and some other bits and pieces, but what spoilt it was the chicken itself, which was really dry and had a more burnt flavour than just the usual charring you'd expect from grilling. I ate it but secretly wished I'd ordered the lamb shank special! The fries with rosemary were nice and my bf enjoyed his classic burger. Service was friendly and the quirky decor and low lighting created a romantic feel. I've been to other branches of Bill's and enjoyed the food, so I wouldn't mind returning.

Came here one extremely busy Sunday for brunch. The guy that seated us (don't remember his name) was great, so friendly, accommodating and entertaining to the queue of people waiting. In fact, all staff were great and very attentive to dietary needs. Food and cocktails were good too!
T. E.
Really lovely place - there’s not a thing I could fault it for. The garden breakfast was delicious - even the roast tomatoes where full of flavour.
I also have to give credit to the service, we had a lovely little chat with our waiter, which is not something that happens often this far into central London.
A. L.
Such a fun place! The decor is originally planned and unique. Service was amazing. The calamari appetizer however was overly breaded and tasted as if it was previously frozen. My cocktails we're too notch though! Bring on the cocktails!
R. F.
Loved the British breakfast, decor and ambience. Service was great, very prompt and accommodating. Perfect Sunday activity near London Bridge.Wonderful place for breakfast! Service was amazing. I felt very welcomed. Tea setup was nice and you get your own pot. The pancakes are dense and will fill you up. We also ordered the Bill's Vegetarian Breakfast with bacon - highly recommend!!
C. G.
Good location. Their breakfast is nice as well.
J.
Such a beautiful place to enjoy a nice lunch. The wait staff was very friendly, and our waitress cleaned off a table just for us because we wanted to sit outside. Food was a bit pricy for a lunch (£13 for an entree and £2.50 for a pot of tea) but I found the prices to be rather worth it. The Pan Chicken with mashed potatoes and truffle and mushroom sauce was absolutely fantastic. Will most likely be returning because of such a wonderful time.
J. S.
Had a lovely meal here last night. Staff very efficient. Cosy atmosphere. Had a lovely steak and I'm lost for words with the chocolate brownie. Loved all of it.
B. P.
Great architecture, love the curves
D.
Very friendly staff and owner. When I ate here I felt at home and the atmosphere was great all around. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails afterwards. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants a relaxed dining experience.
j.
Lovely food! Staff very attentive. Temperature was taken at the door hand sanitiser on every table. Busy Friday night 2 meters probably not stuck to due to table setting but had a lovely evening took advantage of the supper club menu so 3 courses for £19.50. I will come again!
S. M.
Had a great meal here, not only was the food lovely but the atmosphere made by the staff was great and left a lasting impression.
Mas was our waitress and as you would expect she was very helpful but was quick to build rapport with us which made us feel very welcome almost like regulars despite it being our first visit.
We will definitely be back :-)

Bill's is my favorite British chain restaurant. It is simple inside combining comforting cupboards of foods and hanging peppers with open industrial design so popular this days. I tend to believe that people working in those restaurants are specifically selected for the job as service is great with a smile every time. Food in this restaurant is simple but picked carefully to give maximum amount of satisfaction with minimal ingredients. I appreciate the most generous approach to the tea. There is just so many cups in one tea pot I can't believe it every time. And of course finishing touch desserts. Those are just fabulous little things. My last one was pancakes with maple syrup and a ball of ice cream, very simple but combined together made me feel both at home and like eating the best goddamn thing in the world. Very reasonable prices too.
A. A.
Visited recently with a friend and highly recommend breakfast! Great service, good food and ambience. Our waiter was attentive and flexible with our orders.. 5 stars, because we were not rushed with the bill after the meal, and so had a real catch-up chat. Reasonable bill :)
T. D.
Went for breakfast. Was perfect. Great straightforward menu with a good range. Lots of gluten free options. I highly recommend the pancakes, good hybrid of American and UK styles.
Staff were lovely and attentive.
Was very quiet on a Saturday morning which was perfect for us.
L. S.
Came here for lunch. Service was good, they make a mistake with an order but they worked hard to rectify it and were very apologetic. Would have been nice if they offered a free drink to my friend who did have to wait while they cooked her the correct food. But apart from that will be visiting again soon as the food quality was great and priced okay for central London. Do have a good cocktail menu too.
S. R.
Good food, good price and a lovely atmosphere.
J. T.
Came here for brunch. It was a good spot with a variety of typical breakfast items as well as more dinner-time classics (i.e.burgers, fried chicken, chips). Had the butternut squash poached eggs, and though it was good, I feel half of it was missing... It was so small it doesn't really fill you up.
s. b.
We only called in for a coffee whilst working nearby but the staff were so nice we had to comment on their conduct and service. 10/10 from us.
A. Y.
I like Bill's it's eclectic decor makes it a fun place to eat with lots of eye candy and the diversity of the menu covers every mood you might be in as you enter the place. So why is the service always an issue? It starts off good, welcoming you feel cosseted then you start to become invisible. You wave you hands in the air to get attention yes please we would like salt and pepper, more drinks, more water and as the evening grinds on we become like ghosts only when we rise up do we get attention, coffee and the bill......
V. F.
I loved the first time I visited this Bill's but this second time I stayed slightly disappointed. They took many time to take our orders and the food was nothing special. We ordered for desert a "Alaska" which is to share, definitely a big portion but was mostly marshmallow melded, extremely sweet. The Mezze Plate to starter usually is also good and was just OK, not delicious as the first time. Anyway the staff was nice and the bill reasonable.
K. T.
Went with a big party of 12. Good tasting and reasonably priced steak, with a friendly service.
W. M.
The food was good and location very good. I had a feeling they struggled with staff because we had to wait a while for the bill and we haven't been asked if we need anything else after we finished our meal and first round of drinks. The service was very friendly and professional, just not available at times.
d. n.
Great little place for breakfast. Good menu and reasonable pricing. Worth a visit.
V. I.
A great place very close to Borough market!
High quality food and drinks at a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
There is a great selection of wine and beer glasses are ice cold!
Coctails are big and made with high quality alcohol and ingredients.
The food is absolutely delicious!
Big portions and very nice presented!
Service is fast ,extremely helpful and polite!
This place is an excellent choice if you are looking for a full sized lunch without spending a fortune!
Highly recommend!
I. W.
This place is alright but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. It’s expensive and the food is average. I had a burger, which was fine but it was over cooked after I asked for medium and I was expecting something more than a simple burger for £13.
The staff and service were great though.
b.
Seems to be a Marmite sort of place. We found it by chance, were quickly seated and served by friendly staff. The fixed price menu for 3 tasty courses with wine and inc. the service charge was under £30 and for a location like this seemed very reasonable. Would have no reason not to visit again - but recommend booking ahead for after 1800.
A. P.
Visited on A Saturday afternoon. It was busy but we still managed to get a table without booking
J. R.
The service is slow. They're friendly if you have an allergy but it will take a half hour for a manager to come talk to you and if you say allergy only a manager can take your order. The food is great though and I'd still go back.
L. R.
Nice atmosphere, the food is okay
Y. B.
Very busy and may have to wait for a table. I had fish and chips and the batter was some of the best I have tasted. Lovely waitress for our table. We sat for quite a while and didn't feel like we needed to leave.
S. H.
Good food - had the veggie breakfast and very decent service. Waiter was motivated but not too in your face. Showed us the specials without any pressure
S. W.
No wheelchair access! When you come inside, you have to go up a few stairs, I didn’t see a ramp or anything, so be warned. Have come to this Bill’s a few times now, and each time the staff are slow. You can’t come here on a work lunch break, you won’t be able to make it in an hour. But if you have time, it’s okay. The food is good, cocktails are amazing, and the restaurant is in a nice location. Have good choice of food for all diet requirements!
A. P.
You always get a great breakfast here...
D. A.
Loved this place great atmosphere food and staff.
T. B.
Good food and amazing staff! Had a really lovely waitress she recommended the raspberry gin and believe me I wasn't disappointed! Nice atmosphere and the haloumi burger was lovely. All round great pub!
n.
Breakfast was bland, poached eggs tasteless.
C. H.
Had steak, egg and chips, was really very good, beautifully cooked steak. Service, contrary to previous reviews, was brilliant - friendly, timely. Great relaxed atmosphere, just what we were looking for. This was my second visit and will no doubt return.
S. P.
I’m such a fan for this chain and Bills Clink are a particularly good example. Friendly, warm service. Great food and wine selection and good choices for kids too. They were even kind enough to be flexible about mixing up some of their choices on the menu to create a dish for my fussy toddler.
P.
Charged for alcohol in a non alcoholic drink, poor attitude from waitress when asked for more time to choose our meal and bland food for my wife. However fair play to the manager who knocked the food for my wife off the bill and when my wife highlighted the other points in an email she later sent he offered us a complimentary meal at anytime of our choosing.
L. O.
Chains units can really struggle to stand out one is very much like another. Face fact Bills is a big chain now but they really try to have each unit a bit individual. We popped in this one in Clink Street after a visit to Borough Market it was raining and we fancied a cup of tea and a dessert after the street food. This Bills really deliveried great service and welcome. Really nice tea and desserts overall it ticked the boxes.
F. F.
The calamari starter was good - nice crunchy batter and soft squid inside. The bean chilli needed more of the actual bean chilli! Taste was good. They didn't do a regular green salad so I opted for the rainbow salad (long thin slivers of carrot and cabbage). The bill came to £25 which was reasonable.
R. C.
Lively meal and menu choice however let down by poor service and mixing up steak temperatures which meant our group got steaks overcooked.
We were also abandoned after asking for dessert menus and left without ordering and had the steaks comped due to the mistake
S. C.
Not bad, staff were a little unorganised
A. M.
On a busy Saturday night, service was great, the food (we both had the chicken burger) was excellent, the cocktails were creative and delicious. Nice quaint atmosphere! Would definitely visit again.
C.
3.5 out of 5. Nice ambience. Interesting selection of food on the menu. Not the most exciting flavors. Service was decent. Good for after work dinner but wouldn't go there for a special event
J. S.
I dined at Bills with a friend recently. I ordered a southern fried chicken burger which was really greasy compared to others that I've had at different places. I also ordered an ice cream float that I enjoyed.
My friend had a kebab mezze salad which looked good and filled him up. He was kept waiting round a bit for his drinks order, which wasn't helpful, especially as we wanted to watch the football after the meal and so waiting around delayed us.
3 stars as it isn't worth going out of your way to eat here, especially as it's location is close to other options including Borough Market.
H. E.
Lovely place to eat and drink. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. Seating is a little cosy and sometimes table service can take a bit longer than it should but overall a lovely establishment.
E. M.

Great quirky and cute restaurant. Bills has something for everyone. It is always crammed full of people and you usually do have to wait about 5 or 10 minutes if you haven't reserved. The seats are really close together so if it's privacy you are after you won't get it here. The menu is good and the cocktail /alcohol selection is good. . I recommend the steak and egg with fries. Cooked exactly how you like it.... yummy.... oh and the bellini is knock your socks off moreish... haha
D. *.
This place is crazy! They have a great atmosphere and great food. The drinks rock and the staff know their stuff. We had a good time hanging out and enjoying their place while enjoying an awesome dinner and drinks.
K.
We were running out of energy and the nearby Italian doesn't serve pizza... I was so happy to see Bill's just around the corner. We usually go to the one in Bath...food here was as good, service was probably better and the staff were really friendly. Nice work...
T. J.
Loved it here. Very cozy and warm feel to it. Friendly staff and lots of patience too as we were undecided but they offered suggestions. We only went in for the dessert
The cream tea platter is fantastic.
J. J. (.
Always busy restaurant, but definitely worth to wait a bit to be served. 10 stars for everything - staff, food quality an cosy interior. Will come back again with a big pleasure!
j. m.
Oh what lovely customer service. Place and food first class
R. J.
Fantastic meal with friends for my 60th birthday. The staff were brilliant and they enabled us to eat, drink, talk, laugh and relax for over 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon. We really appreciated that they allowed us to take our time. Thank you all - and also for the complimentary glad of Prosecco 😁❤🍾
L. M.
Amazing food, a great location and the most wonderful staff. Thanks so much for the lovely happy birthday for my little niece who turned 1, surprising us with cake and a candle for her was a lovely gesture.
C. G. (. P.
Excellent dining experience. All the staff are very welcoming. Service was very quick and the food was top quality.
Great location for a stroll along the river Thames.
I. (.
Food and drinks are really good but what made it earn the 5th star was the friendly accommodating staff. When you have a 2yr old tearing around you could expect them to get frustrated but they demonstrated infinite patience and seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting. When it started to get busy the staff helped us it with distractions so we could keep kids entertained while seated too.
The only drawback was that when it was full it felt like they needed another staff member, it was so busy I thought they could do with the help.
But overall it was a lovely dinner out.
A. G.
Good food staff are ok
G. M.
Great customer service and I would definitely go there again! I was recommended going to this restaurant this morning by my friend and was a little skeptical at first but when I went to book a table for that afternoon I was greater by a very friendly staff member who convinced me to come back. We only got snacks but what we ordered was amazing and we ended up ordering the same again! I will be going back very soon!
F. C.
Nice and welcoming place, price to quality ratio is very good and they offer a selection of vegan dishes. Service was not that fast, but worth the wait. It's an ideal place for a break while visiting the London bridge area.
C. M.
One of the friendliest staff I've met so far. Very attentive and polite. Food was great as always 🥰
J. P.
Eaten out a few times the last few weeks but this was my favourite meal. Friendly staff and a nice setting on Clink St. Will be going back soon.
S. R.
Nice place, tasty food and good beer 🍻.
J. R.
Came here for dinner together with my girlfriend. We both had burger which were very tasty. The tables are very small, so you won't have much space for eating. I had to steal fork and knife of another table, cause no one from the service brought me some. Price was ok.
J. S.
Friendly staff and excellent food. Delicious chicken dumplings and a very tasty chicken burger. Chocolate and hazelnut sphere was very rich but still tasty.
G. W.
Food good, service ok.
S. P.
Great menu choices, with vegan options too. The food arrived promptly and I have to say the service received from our waiter Dominic was simply outstanding.
R. S.
Friendly helpful staff, good food at reasonable price (though main course portion size is small). Good atmosphere, but increasingly loud as the evening wears on. Tables very close to each other so hard to block out your neighbour's conversation. Also; no obvious place to hang costs which adds to the sense of being overly cramped.
P.
We were in a group of 11 so did not expect all to be well with breakfasts all brought out at once. Beans were cold, 3 plates missing the bacon. Portions ok. Staff were helpful.
I. S.
Looooove this place!! Cool, quirky decor and brilliant food! The service has always been top notch and the vibe is relaxed and cosy. Definitely recommend!!
S. M.
This place knows how to make an amazing breakfast. Had the garden plate and the poached eggs were just perfection and the coffee was the best I've had in a month
A. L.
Only came for dessert - unplanned as we were walking by after dinner. I've always loved the decor at Bill's as it's like an old school grocery store and very reasonably priced too. We ordered a cocktail and dessert each. Although the cocktails were alcoholic they were priced like mocktails. My strawberry daiquiri tasted just fine, on closer inspection the strawberry component was replaced by Bill's strawberry jam while the Old Fashion's orange ingredient was replaced by Bill's marmalade, the lemon with lemonade... You pay for what you get but seriously it tasted fine, just not refined. I ordered the Eton Mess while my companion ordered the special dessert of the day which was a salty sweet apple tart. I had a taste of the tart which was just as you would expect though slightly more caramelisation of the sugars would have been awesome. However the Eton Mess had super fresh strawberries with really chewy meringue which I absolutely loved. Neither dessert was small so we were really full after dessert! So if you go for a meal, be sure to leave room for dessert or share!
D. K.
This place is fast becoming a regular haunt of mine. The menu is great and there is something to suit everyone. The breakfasts are amazing and have provided the perfect hangover cure for me on more than one occasion.
N. F. L.
Delicious food and fast service. Always love the decor at Bill's restaurants and this did not disappoint. Lovely atmosphere. The location is perfect.
K.
A lovely atmosphere for a lazy brunch. Always loved the Bill's Breakfast and it lived up to the task again. Consistently great and always a hit with friends, staff are friendly and welcoming.
A. T.
We found Bill's Restaurant and the opulent chandeliers in the window court our eye.. The service here was really welcoming our Australian waitress was superb. I asked her for her advice out of two particular dishes that I really couldn't make my mind up and she suggested the Green Curry with a side order of broccoli with chillies..... OMG 10/10 its not often I get a meal that I don't want it to finish.... This little restaurant is a little gem go and check it out we loved it...
K. H.
Great food, fantastic service - went the extra mile when i asked for some assistance, client and I left happy. made a good morning great. will be back again soon.
P. C.
Lovely atmosphere! And they were very, very happy for us to have some nibbles and light bites with it drinks. Which were also very nice.
C. S.
Always do a lovely breakfast.
S. D.
Super meal, very well cooked and presented, relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Will definitely return and recommend.
J.
Awesome food. I had the fried halloumi and the bacon and camenbert beef burger. Both delicious, as was the winter punch. Service could have been a bit quicker though.
w. M.
The service was terrible, food was very plain nothibg special just location is nice
H. Y.
Came with my boyfriend on my first trip to London. Absolutely gorgeous food, staff were really attentive, polite and welcoming. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.
J. B.
Very slow service. Lots of items wrong. Too busy for their own good. Tables very cramped together. Food good quality but not outstanding or worth rushing back for .
A. P.
Nice restaurant in Southwark, good location close to river side and lots of places to visit. Good service, good choice of food with vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is friendly and polite and the service doesn't take too long.. Overall recommended
K. S.
Nice cup of coffee reasonably priced.
p.
What a great food options for vegetarians and vegans!
D. C.
Friendly service but the smashed avocado with chili had over toasted bread which meant it reduced the taste of the topping.. Also my colleague had pancakes with bacon with the biggest lump of butter i have ever seen (and i have been the US)... half would have been more than sufficient.. The watermelon drink was great and i would have again..
M.
A fabulous welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Very friendly staff, lovely decor & while we didn't eat there this time around, there were plenty of other people tucking in & I only saw empty plates going back.
L. A.
Everything really good and waitstaff is kind and professional.
W. T.
Breakfasts in Bills are brill. And the staff very friendly - they remember our orders when we go in. Lovely booths where you can get all cosy and actually do some work - there's free wifi and electrical sockets in most booths. Great.
R. W.
Cozy restaurant with good food at very reasonable prices
S. K.
There's a couple of them around London and they do not disappoint. This one in particular near London Bridge is handy as many of the places in this area close early so it's often one of the few places open if you're eating late. It does get busy, and it has a menu that caters for everyone. The haloumi burger is perfect, they've gone to effort to make vegetarian options that are well above average. Get a cocktail while you're at it.
S. H.
Cosy venue - nice staff, good deals and nice food. Will be trying the deals nationwide
P.
A much more interesting and original menu than we were expecting. Service was pleasant, efficient and quick. Food was well prepared and presented.
R. M.
Had a very lovely Xmas meal here!! The food was very tasty and the staff were very friendly! Also facilities were very clean. Would recommend!
c. c.
It's Bills so you kinda know what you get. They forgot our starter which eventually came mid course. That said the chicken burger I had was really tasty and the staff are happy and good fun.
T. P.
A cosy restaurant, with the usual wonderful Bill's paraphernalia adorning walls and shelves. The service and food are top notch, never been disappointed at any time I visit. Recommended.
I.
Been here twice. First time discovered that they have really good hot chocolate! Second time discovered they've very good service. Would be there again.
J. Z.
Amazing food, good service
T. L. (. L.
Good food but overrated and quite expensive to be frank. The service however is great, they would go to great extent to satisfy you as a customer.
B. M.
Modern restaurant with a bar section.Decent menu with the usual burgers, steaks and pasta dishes, also sufficient for vegetarians. Nice starter dishes too. Good service.
C. G. B.
Really nice food and great service. If you haven't been, give it a go. A leader in the chain restaurant world for sure.
S. M.
Nice environment but the food will come to you just after passing through the toilets and the food was tasteless and stale, tourist trap! Wouldnt recommend.
A. H.
Lovely place tucked into a side street near Borough Market. Good food and friendly service. More seating than normal in the area so usually not too bad a wait.
b. m.
Great food and service. 2nd time to visit this weekend and would highly recommend. Staff are friendly and helpful and food is 1st class. Will be recommending to our friends.
J. B.
Amazing Brithday dinner with my friends!
S. P.
The atmosphere was friendly and service was amazing..Vegan breakfast very tasty and loads of choice...Will be going again
D. M.
Food is good like it always is we must have had a very new waitress she did not know what bourbon is in told me they do not serve it
j. h.
Good food. Though gets busy and it is a compact restaurant. Staff good and attentive.
A. P.
Amazing attentive staff, great fresh food, wonderful flavours. Perfect breakfast experience. I wouldn't eat breakfast anywhere else!
D. S.
Really cosy and warm atmosphere, slightly limited menu compared to our local Bill's, but nevertheless enjoyable and relaxing well cooked meal!
L. L.
Pretty good, no surprise at the same time
N. K.
Very good food and fresh smoothies. Interior is not for everyone but i loved it. Service was very nice!
N. H.
Absolutely incredible from start to finish. Great service, and delicious food. Not one complaint
M.
Love brunch at Bills never lets us down. Great service felt very safe too.
T. S.
Tasty, satisfying and healthy breakfast. The service was excellent too. Calm and relaxed place to enjoy breakfast.
A. C.
Cosy restaurant just hidden behind the Golden Hinde Ship and the riverside, Bill's is a classic restaurant for European grub. We went for the sharing platter to start with, and then the steak. Both were delicious - a really lovely, satisfying meal to end the day.
K. H.
Food, staff and atmosphere were lovely, unfortunately, the toilets stank. Not sure whether this is a regular thing or a one-off as I'd never been here before but it's enough to stop me going back.
N. B.
Bill's standard menu but the staff went the extra mile to serve 14 of us with good humour & reasonable speed. Extra points for offering blue light discount.
G. C.
great food, amazing, seriously! try their fish curry and their shepherd's pie! and the deserts are stunning! ( apple pie / toffee) and their staff is amazing! specially Maria!
M. S.
Great choice of food. Really good flavours and well prepared. Relaxed atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff.
K. S.
Good food and portions. But...Not very clean. Sticky tables and bad smell in restaurant. Witnessed one of the mangers being rude to an employee.
E. C.
This place is always great. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great food.
S. P.
Lovely staff, as an off the street booking they looked after us very well, and apologised for making us wait 10 minutes (we didn't even notice) the food was great as we had vegans and meat eaters, and their menu catered for both.
K. P.
Food was lovely staff really nice all at a decent price I would go there again
T. S.
Bill's has a standard but interesting menu with high quality dishes and ingredients. The staff are friendly and it has a rustic but busy atmosphere. i
R. H.
Great location, tasty food and friendly service
G. D.
This hidden treasure was a delight. Our wonderful meal offered unique new tastes while still seeming a familiar cuisine. A must try.
K. L.
Got ignored in a 18 person queue for 15 minutes where nobody even seemed to realise it existed but once in, breakfast and drinks were decent enough. Sausages a bit floury though.
E.
Fabulous food, amazing staff. Can't fault it, absolutely wonderful as always
J. G.
Food was good but the whole experience undermined by the fact it took absolutely ages for it to come. They did take a few quid off our bill but still kept the service charge on
A. B. (.
Informal but smart with a well priced, imaginative and eclectic menu. Good options for vegetarians and carnivores. Fast service and sufficient space to dine comfortably.
S. T.
very good place, and food, the waiter michele give us a very great service, probably i coming with my family next time,
D. O.
We went for dessert and the staff was just as accommodating asvif we'd been there for dinner. Our waiter even took a couple of snapshots for us!
D. W.

A couple of good vegan options, including a tasty cauliflower steak and a rice ("brulee") pudding. Busy at the weekend and some of the tables are really crammed in.

We left a restaurant around the corner from Bills because it was so noisy on Saturday night, we found Bill's and the happy, blonde young man, couldn't be more accommodating, in welcoming us in, the atmosphere was warm and happy and although we didn't have food it was a super way to end the night
H. O.
Super lovely staff, the food is reasonably priced and very tasty.

The Meze was fantastic. The burger was a little overdone for my taste, but the flavours were good. The staff were pretty helpful.

Food was quite good but service was slow. Perhaps it was just time of day and how busy it was given the holiday.

We went there for our last breakfast in London and we were not disappointed! Fresh juices were excellent and the pancakes with fruits and bacon are delicious.
