Reviews of Bluebird
V. K.
We were a bit disappointed. The table where we were sat at first didn't give the impression of upmarket dining at all. The seats were stained and looked extremely worn out. The decorative plants hanging from the ceiling beams looked tired and outdated and didn't give much uplift to the decor.
Thankfully we were moved to different table closer to the windows which had better feel to it. The dining room wasn't decorated much for Xmas and that subtracted from the overall feeling of high expectations.
The food on the other hand was a-mazing and all our compliments of the review go to the chef and team only. The lamb was extremely tender and sauces complemented it well. But you need to order some sides with it separately.
The waiting service could've been better too. Staff looked confused about what table the food needs to go to.... and the hair on the one of the deserts was the most upsetting thing, which completely dampened the good impression about the place. We wouldn't go there next time and wouldn't recommend it to friends.
J. R.
Restaurant is very spacious on the top floor.
Food was very good. One of the best sea bass I have recently eaten. Skin was petfectly crunchy and fish was flaking easily from a fork 👍.
Cannot wait to come back in summer time for cocktails and enjoy their lovely garden space outside.
Reccomended!
M. R.
Food was ok -- I'd call it average. Burger is only cooked one way: well-done. Oxtail was alright. Cheese croquettes were probably the best item we tried. On a sunny, warm day the outside terrace area would be excellent for drinks.
S. B.
Went for Xmas dinner with friends on a Friday evening, a few free table - we had reserved a table. Not many options on the menu. Complementary bread and butter - we didn't order starters. I had a mocktail Rosalina - which was supposed to be passion fruit raspberry and rose syrup but it was watered down, it actually had no taste and I regretted getting it. I did ask if they could make me a strawberry daiquiri style drink but they were unable to make drinks not on the menu. Mains- I had steak which was delicious - came with a side of chips, onion puree and bone marrow sauce. The steak was very juicy so didn't need much sauce. We also ordered the lobster pasta which looked nice and the duck. I had the snickers bar for dessert - it was very filling and I couldn't finish it. I did taste just like a snickers bar with a side of bananas. We also ordered the hot chocolate cake which was very heavy a lighter option meringue. Great ambience, very dim lighting - I couldn't photograph my food clearly and also picture of the night turned out dark. There was music playing, slightly loud but it gave a good atmosphere. Service was good and staff friendly.
R. B.
Good vibe, service and food! Thought it was a bit loud initially but it takes only a few minutes for it to become ambient. We tried the baked beetroot starter, the mushroom rigatoni, truffle mash and cauliflower main. All of them were great, especially the cauliflower (it's quite a big dish btw). The staff is so helpful and friendly :)

We enjoyed our breakfast here, seating outside was beautiful, the lady who served us was very attentive and kind, we enjoyed our meal.
J. W.
Stylish setup, great ambience. Interesting menu. Wonderful and attentive staff. Nice interior decor. Spent an afternoon with business colleagues. We were served by friendly and cheerful catering staff
G. G.
Upstairs main restaurant. Have only tried their Sunday roast but I can say that it was excellent. Both the beef and the pork were enormous and good value for the quality. Will definitely be back. The roasties have a good texture but are slightly salty. Staff was friendly and room is nicely decorated and spacious.
A. T.
Great food and excellent atmosphere. Love this place so much. A little bit overpriced though.
S. C.
Definitely a restaurant worth visiting (again and again)!
We had a quick lunch at Bluebird Chelsea and ordered from a set menu, and we were both very surprised by its food innovation and creativity! Really enjoyed the beautiful lunch, wonderful atmosphere and friendly service.
T. P.
Right from the moment we entered, you could feel the Friday night buzz was all around you. We had pre dinner drinks downstairs in the garden terrace - service was a bit slow and when we asked the front desk lady if it was possible for someone to take them upstairs as our table was ready, she cooly replied "I'm not a waitress" ! That told us ! So we took our drinks up to the restaurant and I have to say from here on in, the experience was first class. We had a super friendly and helpful waiter and starters of crispy duck salad and duck parfait - both were stunning. Then came the main courses - sirloin of beef with a mouth watering marrow sauce, a monkfish Kerala curry and a succulent cod dish. The very gracious manager apologised for the delay in main courses arriving (not that we noticed) and offered us free cocktails and wine. The passion fruit souffle was beyond words. Overall it was a fabulous experience and captures the essence of Chelsea on a Friday night perfectly with stunning food ! Thoroughly recommend.

Favourite place to come to when I'm in Chelsea.
Food and service is always very good.
Great place in the summer with the option to be outside for some drinks.
J. D.
I've passed this place many times over the years but recently I decided to come here for lunch with my son.
My son had a simple hangar steak with chips and I had a salad followed by roast chicken breast.
Overall the food and the service were both good. And the set lunch menu was reasonably priced.
It's Chelsea so expect to see a lot of silicon enhanced diners!
B. B.
Lunch was spot on, food was good, service was good, location is great and truly price was good too!
The restaurant is a bit tired and could use some TLC but these are hard times so I am happy that they are still open!
Their lunch set menu is unbeatable at £25 for a 3 course and a glass of wine!
Crispy duck salad was fresh and crunchy, the chicken and vegetarian entree were both very nice and so was the sticky toffee pudding.
Really nice lunch.
R. K. K.
A small group of us came out to celebrate our friends birthday, and I was very impressed by the food and great service we received. There was a very nice atmosphere at the bar after our meal.
M. B.
Great service, really nice food and fantastic drinks. The atmosphere was lovely and everywhere was clean. Wasn't too busy.
D. C.
Beautiful decor. The Sunday roast was divine, both the sirloin and the pork belly. The cabbage was so good I want to try and recreate it at home.
The one issue was that one of us got the avocado, poached eggs on sourdough and the sourdough was stale. We informed the waitress scout this but it was unaddressed. I expected better from Bluebird.
I. B.
Me and my Wife had a fantastic meal today at the restaurant, the food was spot on .We was looked after by Fifi who gave us exceptional service and was a Lovely Breath of fresh air. The Custormer Service was 100 % I highly recommend this restaurant, we were here 16-01-22 many thanks Ian and Dionne
J. B.
Such friendly, professional staff with beautiful ambience! Spacious venue with high ceilings so it accommodates a lot of people but it doesn't get crazy loud. We had our birthday lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Can't recommend it more !
H. V.
It’s difficult to get a Full English breakfast wrong… but also tough to make it great. They manage it here though. Really nice setting and the food was quality. Traditional dish done with flair and style.
L. C.
Bluebird is a fantastic restaurant with amazing food. If you haven’t been, then you are definitely missing out!. This cozy yet spacious restaurant has left the best impressions, not forgetting the service from the staff which was incredible also.
E. J.
Delicious food but slow to come to the table.. but was well recovered by excellent customer service work from the restaurant manager. Will definately visit again as a result of the attention shown to make good the delay.
I. I.
Lovely neighbourhood restaurant, nice decor and very attentive staff. My friend and I had the eat out to help out set menu. Food presentation is really good, but the food was quite bland (our main). The sea bass I had was... Almost tasteless. The risotto that came with it was hard and undercooked - not impressed! Vegan pavlova and raspberry ice cream was very nice though. As I live elsewhere, I won't go out of my way to return to this place unless I have a good reason... It isn't bad, just so-so (perhaps if I had better luck, I would've enjoyed my meal more). In general, I'm not too mad about the food as we had £10 off each person, but can't justify paying full price for it!
J. R.
Great burgers and the best roast potatoes I’ve ever had!
A. L.
Update
Went back today to see if they have got their act together since our last visit and delighted to say that they have.
Excellent breakfast (and very generous portions of hot toast this time).Friendly, swift service and nice views of the giant screen showing the Olympics.
40 min wait for breakfast after ordering....but
the order was wrong .Scrambled eggs instead of poached on one order.
No included sourdough toast with either order.
Ask politely for sourdough.
Wait 12 mins then cold Hovis toast arrives.
Send that back.
Poached eggs arrive.They are cold.
Fried eggs also cold but sausage is warm.Minor celebration.
Sourdough toast arrives to mark one hour since ordering.
By now the smoke from the barbecue is swirling 'round our heads and I feel I'm on the set of a dystopian film.
Problems in the kitchen apparently. So why take in more customers ? And why not tell them when they arrive ?
Staff in complete disarray.
No managerial presence.
A disaster.Other customers about to stage a walkout.
We do.
Had planned to book a lunch here soon but now doubt I will.
On the way home I wonder what D and D really stands for.(Answers on a post card).
N. H.
Great terrace and nice food. Big porcions
R. L.
I’ve always enjoyed coming to bluebird for my business meetings, there has been times where booking system didn’t work properly or some of the front door bouncers were rude but overall experience has been positive.
Owners if you’re reading this help the bouncers or your security team to speak to customers more politely no one is there to fight or show who’s tougher we go bluebird to chill and have a good time!
I’ve tagged bluebird many times on my Instagram stories and will do more if this change is made
Thanks
B. S.
Staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious!
R. D. O.
Good food. Good service. Nice location.
D. G.
I ordered the ox tail bourguignon and it was delicious, a really tasty lunch.
The service was very slow and I needed to call the waiting staff over any time I wanted something. I was there for more than 30 minutes before someone took my food order. The staff was friendly. Prices are a bit high but reasonable considering the area and quality of the food and drinks.
J. T.
Booked a private function area and the staff was very accommodating. The private bar provided a good mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The quality of food was just amazing, as the mix of ingredients made a significant different to a standard dish / soup I ordered. The staff was very professional and catered to our needs. This is a pricey place, however, well worth a taste!
e. s.
Lovely old building on Kings Road, used to be a garage. Quite nicely done out inside. Wasn't too busy when we went as it had only recently reopening due to coronavirus. The courtyard, however was very busy and no room to swing a face mask! The food in the restaurant was very good and would recommend it.
M. H.
Good that they offer tap water without asking. But why charge £1.50 extra for non-dairy porridge vs. cows milk. Totally the wrong "message"...
S. V.
Great atmosphere and music , people look nice/posh . Lovely to spend the night out or dinner by the terrace.
A. S.
Mainly young profile. Drinks and food is okay. Services quality depends on busyness. You’ll enjoy there friday and Saturday. Book in advance to avoit quee.
B. S.
At first service was extremely slow & felt as if we were forgotten about but once we mentioned it the staff were lovely & couldnt fault them, food & drinks were lovely, come with the family on a summers bank holiday sunday was a lovely day out if you have the weather is a lovely spot for lunch & day drinking with nice atmosphere
P. B.
I went to bluebird for some breakfast on Sunday and was a little disappointed. The staff were very rude and one girl rolled her eyes when I asked for sugar for some coffee. We were given warm apple and orange juice and toast with no butter on it and none on the side. We were not offered any sauces, sugar or salt and pepper. For a restaurant of this price their service should have been better. The staff made you feel like you were second best to everyone else and led us to a table which did not have enough chairs for our party despite booking.
E. L. G.
Perched on the famous King’s Road sits Bluebird, a modern European Restaurant in Chelsea. The restaurant is vast with high ceilings, a stylish central bar and numerous tables. The space is adorned with greenery and lit beautifully moodily.
The food and service was incredible and we particularly liked the Stone bass & shrimp ceviche to starter served with passion fruit, jalapeño and plantain crisps.
Y. K.
Came for drinks. Lovely atmosphere and cocktail selection was vast. Signature menu was very good. Great location apart from the fact that there was only one waiter working the whole evening, which led to some long wait times at certain points.
D. E.
The food is so so so very good 👍
The burger was amazing , so delicious 😋 the chef has gold hands, best burger in London .
The sandwich chicken so juice , and very fresh avocado 🥑 .It was our second time going back there.
S. W.
I went for drinks Saturday, its a nice venue with a good atmosphere for a Saturday night.
A small criticism was the choice of cocktails, not many options if you would like a light refreshing cocktail.
S. C.
Went here for a post wedding reception for 7 of us. Unfortunately liquor licence didn't start til 11 so they wouldn't allow any champagne until then . All day menu is not all day as you can't order off it for breakfast. Service was a bit pretentious, but I'm guessing that is what this place is about. Breakfast was nice (big breakfast) and heaters were warm.
C. S.
This time we simply went for drinks in the late afternoon - and it was almost deserted at that time. Enthusiastic bar service, some stunning flower displays and plenty of comfort. Bar stools turned out to be a bit of a challenge
M. T. M.
Bluebird was a great experience for me . The restaurant located on the second floor , above furniture showroom. The interior was factory , show structure of the roof , retro with a lot of colors, some part of dinning area decorate with green leaf , make it feel natural. The roof is sky light ,it would be great day light shine thought the sky roof . Unfortunately i came here in the evening but it still wonderful by the warm light decoration . The food was very good taste. The waiter was very nice and polite . They took a good care of us . The music and vibe is good , relax and so warm . Highly recommend this place . And will be back again next time .
R. D.
(Just the bar for drinks) First place I've ever been to in Chelsea. Was a good experience. The clientele were as expected but pretty chill. A lot of money, a place to be seen though the lighting and atmosphere help with staying discrete. The travel service was good as spaces to sit were rare, more because people seemed to bed in for a few hours rather than move on. Cocktail were ok, not great at all. Too diluted and unbalanced. Disappointing for a high class place. The decor made up for this though and it was a nice place to start the night. I would recommend. There is a nice outdoor section and some private dining rooms too.
J. S.
Sat in the cafe area as I had my dog with me. Service was great even though we were hidden away a little bit, delicious food with humongous portion sizes. Would definitely come again!
H. T.
Met a friend for coffee in the afternoon. Didn't have a booking but wasn't a problem. Service was excellent and nice relaxed environment
Z. R.
Well priced and catered to all our food styles including vegan. Lovely setting and great service.
M. H.
Very nice and high end place for Brunch in Chlesea.the staff, the Atmosphere, the decoration, and the whole ambiance of this place is very enjoyable and calm. Make sure you make a reservation before you go.
It is an expensive place, but worth it trying it at least once in my opinion.
Food and drinks are delicious!

STYLISH - DELICIOUS BRUNCH - MUST VISIT
Came here with a friend for a brunch. We watch MIC so loved the idea of going somewhere the cast go to. Food wasn't too expensive, and tasted amazing! I'd highly recommend. Staff made us feel very welcome.
A. M. d. S. L. d. S.
Relaxing ambience, mostly friendly staff, food is good quality and well executed, drinks selection is perfectly fair and prices, for the location and quality, are reasonable. Maybe because of the post-pandemic world, staff seems to be a little too thinly spread (having to ask for top-ups, etc.), but they are diligent when you have their attention.
T. L.
Always Lovely time at Blue Bird Chelsea! Luxurious but relaxing and laid back. Dog friendly too! Great bar and bar snacks. Cool music and athmosfere.
T. N.
Salvatore the receptionist is the most amazing staff there! So polite and respectful, thank you for making me and my boyfriend feel so welcome! Food and venue was beautiful, will definitely be back! Thanks again!!
D. C.
Good food, the staff was friendly as well. Nice ambience. Desserts were really good, had the honey comb mousse and sugar plum donut both were great.
J. P.
Fabulous!
An amazing spot to pop a nice bott of bubbles on a cold winters eve. The location - simply Chelsea, service - outstanding and the uber stylish atmosphere. 11 out of 10!
J. B.
If there was one thing Bluebird Chelsea have spot on, it’s their interiors. It’s just gorgeous in here! A sultry looking cocktail bar at the centre, an art deco seating area to sip them in and a restaurant which feels more like a tropical rainforest. All housed inside a converted former garage which was built for the Bluebird Motor Company back in 1923.
Bluebird has a few different areas to it, all separated from each other – but all very much connected. A casual all-day cafe, ever popular courtyard which always has something going on and a restaurant/bar upstairs where we were spending our evening. Have a drink at the bar first and ask for a table by the window for a spot of people watching on the King’s Road. You’ll have a lot of fun here.
N. A.
I had a delicious meal at an event here. The main bars have a good atmosphere and are decorated in a modern, fun way. The private meeting rooms are furnished in quite a standard way but have quirky artwork to make it a bit more interesting than basic meeting rooms.
r. a.
Atmosphere and service were great but the food was a little overpriced
S. J.
Outdoor dining. Very friendly staff. Great ambience. Drinks and food are nice. It's expensive, but worth it.

Such a nice dining experience! Even better with the eat out to help out scheme. Follow my insta for more review @merlot.juice

Attended a private 50th birthday there, the food was amazing.

Amazing place, delicious food / great menu. You always feel special thanks to the excellent services.
S. O.
Lovely vibe, they have a ton of plants and vines climbing around. Food is superb and service is great as well. We went for brunch so meal options are a bit cheaper but can still order mains which are their usual prices (£15+)
L. S.
Great ambience, well presented dishes, the terrace is great👌🏻
O. M.
Wish I could leave more than 5 stars, it was a unique cullinary experience unlike anything I have ever experienced.
Food is superb and so precise in size and flavour, and don't get me started about "The BlueBird" dessert - white choc, banana and salted caramel mouse, in a chocolate car that you need to break to get to. Oh wow⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
D. H.
You cannot beat a lunch in the sun with good friends at Bluebird - their burger is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Also the way that they've decorated the outdoors area with plants and trees makes it feel like you're in Miami or somewhere equally as tropical.
We had such a good time sitting out on their very comfortable sofas that we're already planning when to go back there.
Make sure you get there early though because it's very popular and tables and seating are allocated on a first come/first served basis.
Overall superb value for money and always a winner! 10/10

Great food , service could be better, nice place, expensive
C. M.
Excellent food. Wonderful and attentive staff. Great interior decor.

Had afternoon tea here! It was well worth the price which was very affordable for afternoon tea in London. The best part were the sandwiches, there were 3 kinds. The scones and clotted tea were delicious. There was also coffee cake and 3 types of sweeter desserts! I've had more expensive tea at an upscale London hotel which means you pay almost double for the more formal environment and food but I would say this was pretty good tasting for the price! The first timers in my party were very happy.
The environment was great, lots of cozy couches and sofas, lots of natural light, and greenery as decoration. It was cozy and a nice unique place to drink tea and catch up with friends while on vacation.
They did not rush us for tea and we stayed past 5pm until they started dimming the lights for cocktail hour. Service was a bit slow and we did have a hard time finding the waiters for extra hot water or milk. They also forgot to serve 2 in our party their tea in the beginning until we had to wait to find them and ask for it.
Despite this I would still recommend afternoon tea here for the price.
Z. A.
Nice restaurant , they do really good food and burgers. Family friendly place. I love the outdoor seating.
L. W.
Spacious interior with great drinks, nice vibe and music. Outdoor seating with good food menu available.

Beautiful and stylish bar on Kings Road. Great choice of food and drinks and really was a great brunch. Service was impeccable. Will definetly be back next time I'm London.

Beautiful space and wonderful service. We had the fish & chips which was massive, and the burrata ravioli was quite nice. Decent prices, considering the setting and location. Also, dog friendly! 🐶

Really lovely vibe in the restaurant but I was mostly impressed by the gluten free options. Most things on the menu could be gluten free - I had the steamed cod with jersey royal potatoes and the hot chocolate pudding afterwards. They also brought gluten free bread which was a nice surprise and was delicious. Would definitely return.

Had afternoon tea at this upscale cafe. Felt like royalty. Surprisingly filling bite sized treats in a very relaxing atmosphere.

Great garage conversion into a lovely restaurant, with indoor and outdoor dining. Reasonably priced food and attentive staff. Interesting decor and rug.
T. B.
5 stars all round! Staff, setting, food - absolutely amazing. Could not fault them!
S. “. W.
My partners lamb rump was absolutely fantastic but my bone marrow burger was cooked from chilled, too compressed and over done round the edges, disappointed.
S. K.
Amazing time and delicious food.
P. I.
Great place for outdoor brunch on a sunny day. The food was ok, I ordered avocado on toast and besides the nice deco the flavors were plain. The service a little bit distracted as well.

Love it there every single time I go. Tartar and pie were just perfect and what I wanted.
The only thing that was disappointing was their signature blue bird dessert. Sorry to say far the worst dessert I’ve tasted. Very pretty presentation though
A. C.
Love it ! But their menu is not updated. We bought a 2017 wine, they brought us the 2018 one, which was lovely but still not the one we ordered. Also is so busy that they keep filling up your glass so you either order another bottle or leave...
C. D.
We had a lovely lunch, great food and service in really nice surroundings.
Well done Bluebird
H. W.
Went to bluebird the other evening with my friends first time going Great service, food & atmosphere looking forward to returning
K. H.
Lovely afternoon tea, good quality cakes with fresh scones and sandwiches, beautifully presented

Great food the sea bass is delicious
And the atmosphere on a Saturday night is fantastic
B.
Not bad place for a drink or two. Lots of space, with a relaxed vibe. Staff attentive, once you get their attention in the first place!!! It's a good relaxed place to eat and drink, which is reasonable priced for the area. Good place to meet out of town chums too, as parking is quite good. Loos could do with an upgrade as they are incredibly tired. Strange to spend lots on refurbishment and to forget this.

Had a lovely evening the ambience is so good perfect service and so friendly had the bluebird burger perfect very filling the cocktails are great lots of choice we will definitely return thank you

Stunning interior. Staff were efficient, food was brilliant!

always love coming to the bluebird its such a cute café and the brunch is great! they also have a really nice outside seating area that is perfect in summer.
M. P.
Easily the best burger in London! Truffle fries were also amazing, and the rhubarb crumble was perfection. Lovely location, incredible service. Can't wait to go back for a sit down meal, the takeaway has set the bar sky high!
C. C.
Beautiful place inside. Tea was nice but just a standard tea & my birthday wasn't acknowledged despite prior request & mentioning it on the visit. It would have been 5 stars otherwise
R. H.
We had turned up without a reservation, luckily there was space at the shared tables. I would advise to book in advanced if you wish to have your own table. The food was brilliant as always and the service was really good.
A. S.
Always a pleasure to be here. Such a wonderful venue. #AylinSweets.

Nice restaurant. Great curry and steak. Skip the deserts though
S. C.
Stunning and absolutely delicious food served, with very attentive staff
E. B.
Attended the soft relaunch, prawn starters and the dark chocolate mousse dessert were amazing.

Probably the loveliest hospitality/f&b real estate in Chelsea. However, service levels let this spot down. Food is ok, prices ok, staff v nice, just think just need a few more people to help in general.
K. H.
Love this place. They have a restaurant, cafe and outdoor courtyard area. Great menu and the food was delicious. Also dog friendly!
A.
Superb staff especially Marco Amazing Salmon carpacio and cod lovely cocktails and superb staff once again!
A.
Quant little spot. Hope it gets more popular.
Highly recommend the water, so refreshing but on the pricey side.
J. L.
The restaurant is ok. The outside cafe is much better. One thing I will say that I do not like is the service. I find it harassing to be asked over and over is everything ok and also have waiters just stand watching and waiting. I get they want the customer to be happy but it’s over bearing and ruins the experience.

After dining here, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Portion is great, you will feel full but not overfull. Cooking style wise, I would describe all dishes are very down to earth. How so? It may not have luxury food presentation, but every bite of food you can expect to be surprised by new combination of flavour or texture. It comes back to the essence of food.
I love all dishes. However, it is definitely good to try it out.
S. K.
Lovely place. But very rude staff at 22.00 just kicked out of restaurant
The steak is not a tasty, octopus - overcooked. Very tasty prawns tempura, grilled king prawns and spicy and salt squids
C. R.
Beautiful place. The food was perfect and the staff are helpful and kind.
T. H.
Expensive for what it is, but if you like feelin' bougee and the idea of dining next to members of the MIC cast - you'll probably think it's well worth it. Very 'gram-able.
S. M.
Was in one of their rooms for a party, no air conditioning and had to regularly leave the party for cool air.

The best ribeye I’ve try in London!
Nice food and decent environment as well!

Despite the lovely ambience decor etc., this place only deserved 3 stars for the experience I had upon arriving to the restaurant. As I stepped into Blue Bird, a bouncer welcomed me with a really negative tone, questioning what type of reservation I made and what time I booked it for, pretended to look at his watch to check if I was still on time. I arrived so excited and this bouncer left me with a really bittersweet taste in my mouth with such miserable attitude.
The service inside the restaurant was great, waiters were lovely, but dinner menu was very limited with almost none vegetarian options. The aubergine dish was too rich. Everything could’ve taste: better if that bouncer had welcomed me with a smile. Maybe this place should consider hiring a host to accompany the bouncers to teach them how to welcome diners into their restaurant.

Full.. I'm sure had I booked and reserved a table I would have loved it, it looked great. But the sun was shining and that makes a difference. Hopefully when I return, which I will i will be able to report in depth 😉

Somewhat fancy bar and restaurant, drinks are ok and staff friendly, lots of good looking people with a nice groove from the speakers
Recommend if u r in the area

This is a nice place, very busy, good food.
D. G.
Not as good as I'd expected it to be if I'm honest, food was ok, but again, expected more! Definitely a good place to people watch though and dogs allowed on the terrace.

We were served by Sara and she was absolutely amazing! She really made our night special.

I've been to "Bluebird" with my colleagues and I can say that we had a real warm Welcome from all staff .
Food is so delicious and some of the drinks too.
Definitely will be returning soon !
J. M.
Super friendly staff, great service, and attractive decor. Food was good but had to knock a star as the steak just wasn't good - excessive charring (bordering on burnt) turned what should be a delicious dry aged ribeye into a overpoweringly bitter disappointment. Would definitely come here again - but I won't be ordering the steak!
S. K.
Great place to have drinks or food, casual or formal/fine dining both are available
D. C.
Festive atmosphere (a bit of a beachy vibe). Good place for brunch or happy hour.
K. W.
Had the most amazing time, brilliant service and wonderful atmosphere- Riccardo made our night, excellent customer service and made us feel very welcome
S. G.
One of the best best restaurant I have been to in London.
Food: I have had multiple things here. Everything was amazing.
Affordability: Definitely not very affordable. It is an upscale place. you can expect 40-50 per head.
People: Super staff. Very amicable. Good crowd.
Place: On a busy road and easily approachable and identifiable. It is a big place. Decor is also very nice.
I loved the place and will visit again.
L. R.
Service was a little slow, but very nice vibe and good selection of drinks and snacks for afternoon coffee
O. B.
We mainly go to Bluebird for breakfast. The food is always good, portion sizes are perfect and quality always on top, no matter what you pick.
Regarding the interior, the place needs an update badly, everything is quite dated, including the plates and crockery. Some look like from the 80s (maybe that's the style, I don't know). Also, for the morning service, the staff is not recognizable from normal visitors, there is not much of a unifrom, you have to guess who works there and who not)
A. S. N.
The food is average, not amazing but not terrible. What you get is a lovely atmosphere and a menu with options.
F. M.
Great lunch selection. The staff are lovely and accommodating too.
J. M.
Great place to eat and enjoy a drink with music. Shame noone dances
T. I.
Had to wait a little before being seated, even though I made a reservation. Other than that, the dining experience was fine. Great food and a good vibe

Lovely set lunch, great food and service.

Wonderful, brilliant selection of drinks and some very fine whiskey. Highly recommend

Very pleasant but touch out of my price range to make this a regular visit
S. V.
Great service, food was excellent too for a rapid service. Flavourful grilled chicken and an excellent duck salad. Definitely try the passion fruit souffle too!

Great place for a coffee or a meal.Suits all pockets.Highly recommended.

Decor and food were fine but the service was extremely slow.

Lovely venue for a wedding reception, lovely food table service
J. W.
A grand place for a feast on the patio.
I came for a private event. The vibes were great.
Very kind staff and lovely wines.
A. G. T.
Really great experience and atmosphere! Food was great but took a while to come
C. F.
Excellent afternoon spent here yesterday, 30 May, for my daughter's birthday... accommodated 19 of us comfortably, service excellent, staff excellent, atmosphere? Excellent ☺️
K. S.
Went for cocktails with a friend and thought it was a lovely little place for a drink :)
T. O.
Had our wedding reception and lunch in the private mezzanine room. Everything was great, want to specifically call out the service from Marta who looked after all the guests and timings of everything. We will be back.
L. H.
Great party, not much to say about food
L. M.
I had a delicious meal at an event here. The main bars have a good atmosphere and are decorated in a modern, fun way. The private meeting rooms are furnished in quite a standard way but have quirky artwork to make it a bit more interesting than basic meeting rooms.
A. K.
A great evening. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
L. R.
My family and I can here for lunch and sat upstairs inside. It started with a pleasant and helpful phone booking, then we had such a friendly greeting! Our table was just as requested and the rest of the staff from then on were lovely. They checked about my allergies. The food was very good, but quite slow to arrive. Overall we will all definitely be back! Thank you.
R. A.
A fabulous day brunching! Food was lovely and the staff very sweet. Thank you for a gorgeous day ✌🏽

We were hired to photograph an event at Bluebird Chelsea - really loved the atmosphere. Friendly staff, amazing food and drinks
M. J.
Loved the calamari and prawn starters! Nice Gin n Tonic 👌🏼
T. K.
Fabulous! Very welcoming, friendly service. Food is good the ambience and vibes are good. Went there for lunch and drinks but couldn't try out the open bar area outside due to the long queue and was very busy.
A. G.
Great atmosphere , the food was delicious , and the service was impeccable . Ask for Marta , shes just the best ! Hospitable and very sweet
L. F.
Went here on a Friday night without booking (silly idea!) but we were told we could wait in the bar area which was very comfy. Very good food and the service was amazing. The lighting was very atmospheric, but the downside was the volume at which everyone was talking at while having dinner near the bar where people were drinking.
O.
We got married here (ceremony and reception) and it was fantastic. The staff were incredible and very accommodating to our requests. Food was amazing and everyone enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend the Bluebird for private events as they really went above and beyond to make our wedding day special.
F. M.
Delicious food, a fab selection and great staff.
J.
We had our team Christmas dinner here in one of the ski chalets outside. The staff who served us were brilliant, very fun, friendly and helpful. Food and drink was lovely. But unfortunately the evening was very much dampened by the fact the kitchen and bar closed at 9:30pm!! We had to have our desserts served to us whilst we were still eating our main courses as the kitchen was closing, meaning we were left with melted mess by the time we got to them.
This was on a Thursday night in December! It's crazy they don't tell people that when they book a table and commit to a minimum spend. We would not have gone here if we had known, it meant a rather stressful end to the evening.
Our waiter was so lovely and apologetic (even though not his fault) but he's since left so good luck to anyone else attempting to eat there! Book your table mid-afternoon otherwise you'll be booted out mid-food.
R. F.
Fantastic dining experience. The staff were lovely, the dishes inventive and scrumptious, the ambiance relaxed and chic. I enjoyed a gnocchi starter and salmon with muscles main, sharing the theatrical Blue Bird dessert (mouse, biscuit and ice cream), which was presented with dry ice. I would definitely recommend it and go again.
A. A.
Amazing afternoon tea.
Staff were fantastic too!
R. Y.
Just had coffee, so can’t comment on the food, but the outdoor area was absolutely packed on a Friday afternoon with “Made in Chelsea” extras.
C. E.
Went here for some mid afternoon cocktails. Great service and a good atmosphere
R. C.
I heard this was a nice chill place to go for a drink. From what I was told the place has changed a lot and lost it's charm. It's now a normal bar that you can find anywhere.
I. H.
Very good place to eat and meet friends and family
A. K.
Thus is a first class restaurant but we had some issues on last Saturday night. Humous was on the child menu and it was off, acidic which we had to return it after my daughter eaten it at least half of it. Waitress said it was a strong flavour or something..Waitress also brought a glass of water instead of white wine and tried to explain that it was a cold and mild version! (they ve acknowledged the mistake later). Table service could have been more attentive, cutlery wasn't replaced after the starters for example. This was a quiet period and there were only 5 tables were occupied (5.30 and 7pm slot). They have taken out 2 glass of wine from the bill, but I was expecting bit more since off food is not acceptable in any shape of form! We could have easily walk out. On the other side. Food was tasty and staff was very friendly, place was clean and presentable. Overall, Bluebird needs to be more professional.
D. N.
Great for groups, really good food and cool location. Would say reasonably priced too for what and where it is. Service coukd be a little better if I'm honest but really like it here
M. M.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bluebird for Mothers day yesterday, and had the best experience! The service was 10/10, and we were looked after by one of the managers (can't remember his name but wore glasses and was blonde). He was amazing, the food was amazing, the prices were great! No complaints! i will for sure be visiting again for the service alone. Massive Thank you from a very happy daughter who got to spoil her mum!!
L. T.
Cute spot in Chelsea for brunch, drinks, or afternoon tea.
Upstairs dining room / bar is very light with beautiful flower decor. Food is above average though nothing spectacular.
Fun vibe when crowded. Can feel a bit empty before 2pm so suggest a later brunch.
C. K.
Incredible food, Incredible service, Incredible setting. 100% all round. Every time we go here we have such a lovely time and we are treated really well! The staff are very willing to help and will do anything to make your time there that much better. For example, the waiter accidentally misplaced the fries on the table making some of them fall out, he instantly said 'I am so Sorry, let me get you another portion!' And with no extra charge, they came a few minutes later! We wouldn't of minded if they left us with that original portion, but they didn't. That is what I look for in a quality restaurant! Thankyou bluebird for all the lovely times over the span of 6 years! Let's hope I am not proven otherwise!
M. M.
Very pretty. Attracts a good crowd. Food always smells amazing but haven’t had any yet. Good drinks selection and whisky choice. It is split across several floors with large outdoor area. Toilets are clean and well lit.
You do have to queue on a hot weekend, generally a bit quieter during the week but still fairly bustling.
F. K.
Couldn't fault the service, food or drink! Very attentive waiters and the meal was just delicious. We ate in the restaurant and the atmosphere was very nice, loved the layout, the seating was great and private - I hate sitting too close to other diners! Literally the only I would say is that it was expensive - but it is Chelsea, so as to be expected but it's very much a special occasion venue for most people I would think as the drinks vastly increase the bill at the end! Will definitely recommend to friends though.
J. L.
Whilst the food at the Bluebird was lovely I thought it was extremely over priced for what we got. I had a burger and got a cheesecake for dessert and didn’t think it was value for money to be honest. The staff were not overly friendly and I had quite high expectations for going to the Bluebird but I did not feel as though they were met at all. I felt like unless you had a status or were well known they didn’t really appreciate your custom. We did get seated very quickly though despite it being a Sunday and the area was very busy. Whilst it was nice to say I have been there I don’t think I would ever be in a rush back to be honest.

Always a joy visiting Bluebird. You never disappoint service and food is always excellent
C. V.
Great atmosphere and the food was amazing
A. H.
Loved it. Mushroom soup is well balance between taste and thickness. One of the best chicken pie i have ever eaten. Soft and tender short rib for two person but a lot of fat, this probably make it very tender.
M. P.
We attended a private family dinner party here. There were 20 of us in a private function room. Service was faultless. The food was tasty and imaginative. Attention to detail in the room decor was really good. A great experience without any dissenting voices amongst the guests. Thanks for a great evening Bluebird!
T. H.
Music to love food to enjoy. Busy pumping success. Love it. 💘

Great place, far too many drink peeps at the end
J. L.
Attentive staff and nice set up, but pretty average food, we went for brunch. Good place to come and relax but food is only ok. . Menu choice is alright, but basic. I would not rush back I'm afraid as I like delicious food. I cannot fault the staff as they were friendly, super nice and efficient, so a good spot for a drinks stop I guess. The staff get a 5/5 and the food get's a 2/5 so hence why overall I have given a 3 star.
n. n.
Lovely atmosphere and decor. Had some cocktails before watching Cirque Du Soleil. There is a cafe part downstairs which was very busy so we went upstairs. There is a lift which was great for me as I have bad arthritis so lots of stairs are a challenge.
K. W.
Really lovely place to stop for a spot of lunch
R. M.
Ate outside as Corvid19 impacts the Bluebird with new safety requirements such as taking your temperature before you are allowed to take a seat. Staff all wear masks, but just surprised that there was no track and trace like some other restaurants. Food at lunch was pub style, so nothing special. Staff were attentive and friendly.
L. H.
We had the steak and it really was good, as were the cocktails and the service. However, as there is no real wall between the bar area and the restaurant it gets very noisy. Would recommend and go back. Weekends good vibe but noisy. Weekdays quieter.
A. A.
Great venue several rooms upstairs of differents sizes catering for different events. Nice historical reminders of the car industry.
M. W.
Amazing cocktails. A must visit.
P. A.
Had a good brunch one Sunday. Food was vibrant and fresh although service was a bit slow - we waited some time for drinks to arrive. It was a particularly hot day and sat in the sun we were patched fairly quickly. It gets busy so make a reservation.
C. M.
A Nice and modern restaurant with excellent service and atmosphere friendly staff and helpful good service and conditions one of the best in London, recommend everybody :)
R. K.
We visit bluebird regularly, and last time was a disaster due to being forced to wait 30 mins for our table. Our order was taken, and then the kitchen closed so we had to re-order off of the downstairs menu!! However, this was dealt with extremely professionally, by both the front of house manager but also Emilio (if I have our waiter’s name correct) who has waited on us for our last 3 visits, and is always very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and polite. I wish all restaurant staff dealt with customers in this way. Not to mention excellent food on every visit, delicious oysters and juicy steak. Will be back as always.
I. M.
Food and atmosphere was good. Disappointed with service though. Despite the restaurant being quiet, my friends and I had to wait for a ridiculously long amount of time to be seated. The waiters just stood there doing nothing and stared into space. My sister had to walk up to a member of staff in the end and ask us to be served!
M. M.
Nice experience.
J. M.
Beautiful surroundings and stunningly delicious food
W. B.
Very trendy restaurant/bar, I have dined here 7-8 times this year. Of course the bill is higher than expected but the staff were so friendly and food/cocktails were really good, I will return next week.

Had an amazing Sunday Roast in the fabulous bar area, great food, drinks and service- a bonus that they are dog-friendly!!!! We ❤ Bluebird Chelsea!!!
S. F.
Tasty food, great service, lovely setting.

Me and my mum had her birthday brunch there on 7th Oct. The food was delicious. Amelia and the manager on duty around 3pm were both absolutely fabulous and gave us great customer service. Would definitely recommend!
C. R.
Great food and ambiance. a feel good vibe
K. B.
Their outdoor seating is such a feast. The food is superb
I. J.
Upscale venue for our annual staff party. They cater well for 40 people with an air of 'special'. Food good, wine excellent. Location is a bit off (my) beaten track, but once you're there it's a great private dining and group venue. The downstairs restaurant is a bit 'open' and impersonal for my liking, but my colleagues disagree with me ;)
D. R.
Me and my friends had such a good time, amazing service, good food, lovely people, and the best person who served us, Mario, thank you so much. ❤️
J. W.
We visited on an abnormally busy Monday night due to a private event (which we attended before dinner). Difficult to know where the issues were in the logistical chain but orders were taken and starters took more than 50 minutes to arrive. Mains were served more quickly and were excellent. "The Bluebird" dessert is art as food - quite something. In summary, 3 stars feels harsh but a place of this quality in this location ought to be able to plan adequately for a busy evening, and they got caught out.
L. E.
A lovely spot to relax and have a relaxing afternoon lunch or cheeky drink. I went during one of the world cup football matches and the TV screen was absolutely huge in size so no matter where I sat or was pulled off to, I was able to keep track of the match.
The staff are also very helpful and hospitable. I went with a toddler and they were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend the Bluebird.
R. M.
One of our regular local favourites in Chelsea. A good menu and we particularly enjoy the chateaubriand. There is a good atmosphere at weekends and an excellent selection of cocktails. Staff do an excellent job, especially given how busy it is.
P. G.
We went here for post-meal drinks, a really chilled out atmosphere, and we got a good spot outside on the sofas. After it got a little chilly we made our way to the upstairs bar area, in which the bar staff were very entertaining. Its a nice bar with great decor. I would definitely go back, its got both the crazy drinks and chilled out drinks atmosphere.
N. K.
Nice place in Chelsea to sit outside. Food's better than expected.
G. C.
Great place offering good value for money compared to others in the area. Has a small cafe / restaurant offering a good selection of hot food, burgers, fish and chips, and so on; a separate venue for more polished dining and private rooms, and a winery. We tried the cafe / restaurant, the waiters were very helpful and quick. There were plenty of couples and small groups in the venue but we went in with two little kids and had a really good experience, so I would recommend it to families too. There are both small tables for a more intimate experience, and larger ones if you don't mind sharing a meal with strangers.
A. S.
I love the outdoor terrace which is perfect for drinks, nibbles or brunch. It's great for people watching especially in summer. Good selection of food and drinks. Generally a queue that moves quite quickly but do expect to queue up. It also has a lovely private room for more special occasions.
M. F.
This is chelseas standout groove out!
Great location, great service, good food and drinks and one of the better spots in london to..... Watch the world go by! And enjoy the watching, whatever your gender persuasion! A little pricey, but then.... This IS Chelsea! An altogether, enjoyable experience, which i, for one, will definately be experiencing again..... SOON!
A. A.
Good vibes, nice food.

Beautiful atmosphere

Very pleasant surroundings. Super sandwiches and cake. Very well presented.

This review is specifically for Bluebird's policy on dogs, where the staff (true across the cafe, bar and restaurant) are super welcoming to animals – even if these are the size of akitas and huskies.
Sam in the bar, along with his colleagues, was especially kind to us.
One of the very few high end (non pub) restaurants cum bars in London where dogs are welcome in the early and late evening evening.
F. H.
I am so pleased to have finally visited the Bluebird! There is a casual, busy cafe downstairs that doesn't take reservations, and a unique, vaulted restaurant upstairs that does. We had a lovely Sunday lunch upstairs and it felt quite special, without being especially formal or expensive. There are clusters of comfy armchairs that are perfect for a drink with friends and many tables. The chicken pie was really delicious and it is a great place for groups.
L. G.
Went for afternoon tea. Definitely worth it. They charge less than most places in London but they give you so much more. The sandwiches were delicious but the desserts were just okay. Really enjoyed the smoked salmon on Bellinis
T. H.
Great service, very tasty food. However the restaurant profiles itself as upscale dining experience but the menu remains fairly conservative. It is nice to see that the menu is small, which lets them have all ingredients fresh. However a bolder selection of meals would be welcome.
M. L. (.
A building with quite interesting history in automotive racing industry.
M. P.
Swanky brunch place with good food, a well played out design with plenty of space to eat your meal with you company and not be cramped on other guests. Good food and the burger (which I did not have) looked amazing.
R. A.
For starters I had potato gnocchi with chickpeas, Datterini tomato harissa, mint and wild herbs. For mains I shared a Speyside Scottish Chateaubriand, grilled little gem fried shallots thick chips and béarnaise sauce. The service was very good and the food was tasty. We all enjoyed the restaurants vibrant atmosphere and the classy decor. It was a fantastic dinning experience and an excellent place for a special occasion.
J. P.
I came here years ago and forgot how good it was. Went again last night for a friend's birthday and I have to say that the cider-soaked salmon is probably the best salmon I've ever had in my life. It really is outstanding and I highly recommend it.
R. D.
I only went to the bar, crowds was 25s to 35s, it had a great ambience, the actual bar was well designed, situated in the middle of the floor, and bar stools around, not over crowded and usually served within a few minutes
If looking for a few drinks at a casual but not empty place. Worth a butchers.

We had lunch. Pleasant, quiet, polite service and food was not very memorable. But good to see high standards a maintained after all these years. Very good food but not up there with the best.
M. H.
We chose to have our wedding dinner at Bluebird. Robert was amazing at organising and liaising with me. I couldn't have asked for more. On the day, Charlie made sure we were well looked after. He did an amazing job! We were so impressed. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Thank you all so much for your hard work
N. J.
Loved it. Went yesterday with three of my friends, service was attentive, fast, polite and the members of staff were very welcoming. The pictures online don't do this place justice, Bluebird is beautiful, the decor inside is lovely, food was on point, wide variety of options that everyone would enjoy and the food itself was fantastic. Thanks for the fabulous night out, will be returning here again soon, and now many of my friends are interested to come out with us - would recommend to anyone.

Restaurant and bar in Chelsea with a fantastic selection of cocktails. Good chilled atmosphere and mixed crowd. We had drinks on Sunday evening until 2200. Drinks range from £10 to £15. They did not have ingredients for 3 of the cocktails... but apart from that... great place for just drinks or for lunch/dinner
Z. M.
Lovely decor, food and ambience.
P. C.
Love this venue and working with the amazing Demi and her lovely event team, planning for a clients wedding later this year. The team really focus on the client experience and work hard to make sure every detail is perfect. Thank you Team BlueBird x
K. M.
A wonderful location for a dinner party or date. High ceiling and superb decor, Bluebird sets the bench mark high for a lovely dining experience in Chelsea. Great wine list and fantastic menu. For large dinner parties, try to book the unique private room overlooking the restaurant. Great bar as well.
D. A.
Fantastic place; really can only say one negative thing and that is that the front of house is appalling. We called and were categorical told that they are fully booked and nobody could come in and we needed a week in advance booking. However, we walked in and were greeted with a warm smile and seen to our table. Fantastic food, fantastic wait staff, shocking front of house.
N. A.
Love the ambience of Bluebirds. Delicious food and amazing cocktails
L. L.
Good food, nicely themed restaurant with a reasonably priced set menu. Online booking was easy and painless!
I visited as part of a group of three in late May 2016 and had previously visited a couple of years ago. Both times the set menu was good (salted caramel tart was really good) but this time the extra vegetables were underwhelming (taste and portion size) and expensive.
E. P.
Nice place just service needs to be improved a little
N. B.
Delicious meals, great customer service and atmosphere

Amazing spot. A cute little cafe, an outdoor bar and food area just off King’s road and an amazing restaurant and bar upstairs! This place has so many different vibes going on it’s great for group spots, date spots or even a good chilled remote work spot.
T. H.
Well what can I say, if it wasn’t for the location I’m not sure it would obtain the wanderlust of 3stars. Every venue is built on service not clientele; however the management can’t seem to comprehend this. All I ask is for the waiters and managers to be more polite, and respect that we’re paying customers.
Tap water was served warm with no ice and lemon. Waitresses don’t understand what Fevertree is; clearly Schweppes is the norm around here... And is it that much to ask for a champagne that isn’t Moët?
G. D.
We had oysters (very good, tasty and meaty) and a Chateaubriand filet, very good meat. Amarone recioto valpolicella, my favorite Red wine for red meat, was as expected, good but not beyond expectations the desserts.
Very good service (but the restaurant was not crowded at all).
E. S.
Had a nice dining experience with friends. Food was fantastic and flavoursome match with elegant presentation. Nice wine selection and impressive menu. The service was extremely polite, quick and always there when needed.

Visited as a birthday treat, has very attentive staff, would definitely recommend the lychee cocktail!

Spacious and delicious! I was sitting in the restaurant upstairs for brunch. The bluebird burger is a good choice, with hand made fries. Very great Sunday morning experience, specially if you're looking for something relaxing.
j. i. c.
I live very close and went a couple of times for brunch on weekends. I found it too noisy, the food was average and too expensive for what it was. I never sat outside during the summer, which seems to be very popular, but from my experience not the best place for food.
P. Z.
Clement is the best waiter ever!!!! Lovely place with lovely people!
L. B.
I've eaten at the Bluebird a lot. I really recommend the restaurant upstairs. Great food and ambience. The staff there are extremely attentive. The Wine Cellar is also excellent. I needed a bottle of Pisco (for Pisco Sours cocktail) which amazingly they had and they offered to reserve it and keep in the restaurant in the evening for when I was driving past. Great service. Only thing that lets this place down is the cafe. Staff aren't very attentive, don't always get the orders right or at all and food doesn't come hot and in the right sequence. S I recommend the restaurant and wine cellar
R. B.
Excellent location, great building. Has potential to be an iconic Chelsea brunch bar! ..but it’s not.
The cappucino was machine dispensed, there was fanta in our ‘fresh orange juice’ and the bread for the eggs benedict was from a package (not fresh at all)..

Food was average, service took longer than I like

A really nice and posh Modern Restaurant. Very chic modern. Buzzing atmosphere. Gets very busy in the evenings. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food is delicious and the menu selection is varied.

Still the trendiest cafe in Chelsea! Great atmosphere with locals and celebrities. The shop inside Bluebird sells all sorts of chic boutique merchandise. Love it!

Always love coming here.. the feeling of being outdoors but staying nice n warm indoors... great food n drinks with friendly staff
J. W.
This place is beautiful and the food is gorgeous too!!
Bluebird serves the BEST roast potatoes ever
And the watermelon martini is literally to die for
I feel the prices were reasonable and I got good sized portions for my money.

Myself and partner had a meal here one Saturday. Food was excellent along with the service. The bar after can be a little load for a couple but altogether great.

Nice atmosphere with thoughtful touches for an air of luxury. So far, so good. Food, however, is anything but what you'd expect from a restaurant boasting such interior. Pies were disappointing but a champagne afternoon tea exempted it when we gave it a second chance.

Treated to lunch by my ever so generous daughter. And what a treat it was. Fantastic place. Thoroughly enjoyed by us both! And the Bluebird ice cream was AMAZING!!!!

End of the week treat. This place is brimming full of Chelsea socialites looking every inch the million bucks they are no doubt worth. Food is truly excellent, elegant presentation and delicious flavours. The set menu is a really solid choice at a very attractive price too!
S. P.
Glorious venue, who accomodated a last minute booking by my boyfriend. The food was wonderful and the wine knowledge from the sommelier second to none... Appeasing two different palates with suitable red wines for different mains is no easy feat (and I'm picky) but he did exceptionally well. A huge thank you must go out to our waiter for the evening Charlie T who went out of hai way to make sure our dinner was served to the highest standard. Highly recommended and will be visiting regularly. 😍
A. K.
Really liked the whole atmosphere and of course the food.wkukd go back any day. Highly recommended place for fun with some nice food and nice people.
Had an office engagement party so we all had a blast.

So good to be in a restaurant again. Weather uncertain, service slow but still glad Bluebird could accommodate us.
H. W.
Visited here for a friends birthday. We booked a champagne afternoon tea which was amazing. It was the best afternoon tea I have ever had in London and a lot less commercial than many. We weren't rushed at all and were left to enjoy the afternoon as ladies of leisure, having our teapots topped up on a regular basis. The selection of cakes was perfect with a variety of taste, including macarons.
G. T.
Decent prices, decent food, nice ambiance, but non-existent service.
A. S.
Just back from having a lovely experience at the Bluebird.
All 7 of us had the set menu [3 courses for £25] with a free glass of wine and the quality
and service was excellent.
Also A big thank you to the cleaner who handed in my daughters ring she left in the ladies.

5* service from Francesco Macera from being at hand to take requests to recommended the right drinks he provided us with impeccable service. Will defo dine here again! Good food + Good service = Good night.

A really nice and posh Modern Restaurant. Very chic modern. Buzzing atmosphere. Gets very busy in the evenings. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food is delicious and the menu selection is varied.

Sat outside as it was a really nice sunny day, the atmosphere was good. Service was a little slow but the staff were really nice and apologetic. The food was good however I had the apple crumble with custard for dessert but there wasn't much custard. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

There are some places in London you just have to visit and this is one of them. It was such a pleasure to sit outside and try their delicious food. Very chic place, very cosmopolitan, the best of the best go here and you can see why. Happy 36th Anniversary Bluebird Cafe - May it continue!

One of my favourite spots in London, I love the new decor, great new menu and superb cocktails. Don't bother with the Cafe' on the ground floor , food and staff is really not up to standard compare to the main restaurant upstairs
A. G.
Good atmosphere and very Lovely staff and food was not too bad neither. Waited a while to be seated but only thing management can probably improve on perhaps Sundays lunchtime being too busy and people wanting to eat queuing for too long when I saw someone Skyping their parents, taking selfies etc and had only a coffee in front of them in a 4 seater table! Would like to come back and give a 5 star next time.

I was given as a present the champagne afternoon tea at the bluebird Chelsea, amazing experience the staff were so friendly, we arrived early but it was fine they got our table ready, the cakes and scones were absolutely gorgeous definitely recommend afternoon tea there.

This was our first, but not last, visit to the Bluebird Restaurant. The on-line booking process was a little tiresome but we eventually confirmed a table. When we called on the day to add another member to our party we were told that they couldn't find our booking but as you would expect from a 'good' restaurant they investigated and called us right back ensuring us that of course they would take care of us and that our change in number was not a problem to them. We drove into London because of the tube strike and found parking after 6.30pm relatively simple within a five minute walk of the Bluebird. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely comfortable. They have an excellent ratio of staff to tables, nothing was rushed and our waiter was very polite and attentive without being overbearing. We had the option of a set price menu which was excellent value or a la carte. I don't know why, but we chose the a la carte menu. The choices were good and the prices varying from very reasonable to what I considered rather expensive (for the steaks). From the moment our first course was put in front us and we took our first bite we acknowledged that we had made a good choice in choosing Bluebrid and so far good menu choices. The rest of the meal followed with the same results. The food was beautifully cooked and the flavours exquisite. The portions were just the right size although by the sweet course we would have been very happy if the sweet was half the size that arrived in front of us.....we were beaten! I consider the Bluebird to be good value for money and the whole package, venue, ambiance, staff and of course the food well worth the visit. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

A superb restaurant based in Chelsea serving excellent food, amazing wines with a serving staff who are both friendly and professional. The ambience was inviting and well thought out.
Yes, I certainly will be returning

I was at the Bluebird Cafe for brunch on a Saturday morning. Service was not very good, nor attentive. I ordered the ham and cheese omlette which wasn't very well presented either. Totally average. Don't think I will go again.
Tip: Go and watch the scripted reality show "Made in Chelsea". This place has been featured in it a few times and makes the cafe look a whole lot nicer than real life, so you can experience it vicariously instead.
C. W.
Nice atmosphere and great service. Tasty food but a little over priced - to be expected given its location. Would definitely go again
N. T.
All style no substance, and thats just the place not the food. Trendy hangout for people that wear caps and hats inside whilst sipping champagne.
Food no better than any chain, reminded me of Browns bar & brasserie the food presented as such too. We were a group of four all having different dishes and the best presented dish was fish and chips. Chicken pie is nothing but mushrooms, chicken and a whole lot of cream with its puff pastry top placed like a lid afterward and nothing else on a sad looking plate apart from the addition of broccoli for 4 pounds. However, the place is gorgeous, the decor, lighting, flowers, bathrooms. The service great, kind, accommodating so a real surprise to find the food not match up with the appearance of the place. Real shame. Will go back but only for a drink at the bar.

usual basic nice food
Great location.

Always a lively atmosphere no matter what day or time it is! Staff are amazing and always so friendly. Food is average and would not recommend breakfast
L. B.
Really nice resturant. Was let down by a reservation mix up with Bookatable. If you are booking online but not directly be careful. The restaurant does not take bookings after 3pm however may of the sites you can book on don't know that and you'll end up missing out. That being said the food is great as is the wine.

This place is very popular in Chelsea, specially for their terasse and cafe. But it also features a bar/restaurant. It gets quite busy and finding a table/seating cane be quite hard. The prices are quite high as it is believed that the Made in Chelsea crowd visits it occasionally.
G. G.
I had lunch in a private room for an event. I think the place looked very happening and buzzy. Food was ok but the place looked a great option for lunch or breakfast with people-watching. I liked it especially if you go there without expecting Michelin stars
S. H.
Great service and good food. Presentable amd helpful staff. Cool bar area and well decorated dining area. The lighting is a bit dim though. Always pre-book as it can get a bit busy.
A. P.
Even though there was a line, we got a table with a couch for 2 right away which was awesome. Great music, atmosphere and service. Bottle of cheap rose for only ~30£
A. A.
Great bar with great music. Quite a young crowd. Not cheap but no more expensive than anywhere nearby. Well located to spend the whole night or to move on to clubs in that part of town.
M. C.
Great place to go and have Sunday roast. They also have a good menu to order food and drinks too. Friendly staff, fair prices for good quality food.
P. M.
An annual visit after viewing fashion exhibitions at the V&A with daughters. We go to the cafe where both atmosphere and service are good and although the well presented sandwiches are not necessarily cheap the portion size is good. Recommended
R. B.
Food is great. The customer service can be hit and miss but generally good. I hope to visit again soon.
L. R.
Absolutely loved it! Excellent wine, terrific food, cordial, knowledgeable staff. Service was quick and efficient without being intrusive.
J. R.
Excellent, friendly, welcoming service. Great food; we had three of the new mains and they were delicious! Would definitely visit again for a special meal.
J. v. B.
Pleasant spot to pop in for coffee and all day breakfast. The food is ok and I can recommend this place if you have a big group. Unfortunately a little overpriced for what you get. Best in summer when the outdoor area is comfortable.
H. T.
Staff were very friendly even though I got there an hour late (rush hour traffic through central london). The space is nice inside; quite dark though. Went for the Evening Standard menu, which has not failed me so far.
P. P.
Very beautiful and upscale restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. The dinner set menus are fantastic for the price, and the ambiance is lovely.
G. Y.
The bluebird has a stunning 1st floor bar with high ceilings, give it a very grand ambience. They've put brought in some large TV screens for their outdoor terrace incase you fancied catching some wimbledon action. Great service and a hearty lunch menu :)
H. B.
Very good place for casual lunch/dinner/drinks. Fantastic outdoors area. Would've been five stars if the service wasn't so hit or miss

All I can say is that we had a fantastic evening at the restaurant. Our waiter Ahmed was very attentive and food was delicious.
We will be definitely coming back!
A. C.
Beautiful setting and the food is just delicious. Great for a cup of tea on a Sunday or a full meal. Highest recommendation.
P. R.
Enjoyable afternoon Tea in the cosy setting of the Nyetimber Bird Cage at Bluebird on the first floor. Starting with a glass of Nyetimber Cuvee we had a 3 tier stand of sandwiches including: Scottish smoked salmon, Coronation chicken, Classic cucumber, and a Rare breed hen egg, mustard cress & truffle, onion seed.
The sweet treats were a Passionfruit curd macaroon, a Banoffee chocolate cup, “Snickers” slice a mini Lemon meringue pie and a Coffee mocha choux bun.
There was also Warm plain & raisin scones, served with clotted cream and Bluebird strawberry preserve washed down with a lovely pot of Earl grey Tea.
Lovely ambience in a spacious room with friendly service and very unique in the birdcage setting. Will come back for other meals.

Lovely place with lovely people. Smart club, good drinks and a great place to be and discover the night in London.
Just fighting a little to get a drink, due to the popularity of the place.
D. R.
You can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Heaters everywhere so very pleasant outdoor lunch!

I love you and your sincerity :)

Always come here every year for my Wife's birthday. Love the food and the staff.
Nice bar list as well if you get there early.
J. K.
Gorgeous venue, staff are amazing, friendly efficient service, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is chilled and buzzy. Highly recommend and looking forward to my next visit already.
M. M.
Amazing experience, lovely staff and service. Definitely would come again:)
J. J.
Not very good coffee. They served scones, but had run out of butter and cream, so they served the scones bare. I had to buy a jar of jam to have something on my scones. And it was very expensive. A cosy seating area outside on the courtyard, though.
S. M.
Just when I thought that superb food was a thing of the past in London I found Bluebird. The Chalk Stream trout was superb with the full fresh trout flavour held separate from
the spring onion and ginger, the incredible new flavour of the charcoal mayonnaise that accompanied the hay baked Jersey potatoes. And finally soo fresh flavours of coconut and pineapple in the pineapple carpaccio. Great food and warm friendly waiter Luca who paid careful attention at all times. Full marks and gorgeous food in the most tasteful environment. What a wonderful meal ...and not overpriced but superb value. Thank you
A. V.
Excellent customer service here you feel welcomed. Food and drinks are also of good quality and if something is not perfect the staff takes care to correct it. For this reason I would return again
M. M.
Had a beautiful lunch, great service and amazing food. It's not cheap but a wonderful place to eat and/or drink if you're in the area and can get in.
K. A.
Great this place is open again. Lovely to sit in the outdoor terrace again. Perfect for daytime drinks in the sun. Staff are lovely!
H. S.
Fantastic private dinning space on the mezzanine level, would highly recommend.

Didn't go in but myself and my boyfriend will book to go next week we are so excited to go

good service and lovely atmospher

When you are ready to be reminded of the great casual dining experiences like Hiltl (in Zurich) or sarabeth's (in NYC) or bakkerswild (in Amsterdam) you go the Blubird with your closest friends and stay a while. You talk, share and laugh your way through a seamless experience where the service and the food never interrupt you. Unless it wants your attention. It is so good you will be willing to gove it anything it wants.
S. N.
Lovely courtyard. Good food, but not many vegan options. The portion sizes are huge!
P. J.
I have been a huge fan for years, the brunch is lovely and I love visiting in the summer when the courtyard is open. Cocktails are delicious too
D. W.
great food top quality champagne and cocktails. ox cheek was delicious with beetroot salad and lobster. nice ambience plus fantastic decor
A. P.
Great service and food. Went there for brunch. Large table. Great choice for either breakfast/brunch or lunch. Thanks again
R. C.
Breakfast was excellent but service was a little slow
M. B.
Top place in London, for atmosphere, quality of beverages, food, and prices, with a great outdoor seating, inside decor, presentation of food, and extremely observant, attentive staff. Prices and portions good for London, and Chelsea, highly recommended.
M. M.
One of our favourite London venues and we can't way to be back!

Great atmosphere, tasty food

Good food and good service. The staff are always friendly and it's always a nice evening. Not quite a 5 but a solid 4.

Nice and cozy, love the terrace
E. A.
Good place to sit outside and have a drink or food, they have outdoor heated sitting. Nice food, good service.

The atmosphere in the evening is perfect, especially for a date or going for drinks with friends. The cocktails however, not what you feel you're paying for. If you're going for a few drinks maybe best to have mixers or wine.
J. C.
Reliably good food and service. Warm atmosphere. Parking is free on Sunday, and costs a few £ per hour otherwise
