Reviews of Boro Bistro

Great small plates for sharing and excellent value. Staff very attentive and recommended dishes. The toilets are also worth a visit... you'll see what I mean!

Like it in here… big fan of the Espresso Martinis and the food options are great. Also (bit of trivia for you) the only time I have ever had a spicy pardon pepper was in here!!
Great outside area… it’s even decent when the weather turns!!! Service is great, very friendly and up for a laugh and a joke!! One of Borough Markets best places to try (although they prob don’t count themselves as part of the market)…
H. P.
Incredibly tasty food and friendly staff. We had 7 items and was enough for the of us. Good wine selection too and you can very much arrive just for drinks.
A. L.
I went twice in two weeks. First time was initially for drinks but we ended up drinking quite a bit and had to line our stomachs with the very tempting desserts which were top notch. The next time was by reservation where we had wine and food. I recommend the wine, beers, cheese and desserts. The other foods we ordered weren’t that great tbh but we really like the music, atmosphere, eclectic crowd, the space and the staff.

Went to Boro Bistro last weekend, didn’t make a booking but they somehow fitted us in the garden, the vibe was immaculate and the servers were excellent. The beef onglet and chargrilled lamb was superb and dishes I highly recommend. Will definitely be back for more.

Lovely little gem of a hideaway just off borough market. The staff are very friendly and the food and drinks well priced and delicious. Quite a surprise inside with an eclectic interior that could double as a cool museum. It’s french inspired interior and food. Good prices for the area. Very chill place to meet up with friends.
K. L.
I loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is so nice, 100% French style. The staff is super cool, friendly and very attentive and the food delicious. I definitely recommend it. I can't wait to come back!
R. O.
A wonderful lunchtime meal, french style tapas, lovely rose wine and cheeky decor. Boro Bistro is a a feast for the eyes and your hunger. Tucked away just under London bridge its a gem that you should visit.

Everything was amazing. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere, the drinks, the music all came together to create a gorgeous evening. The help from Denis who served me was incredible, really helpful with my food allergy, being very considerate and mindful. He was always ready to do extra things to make my night better
D. Z.
I love this chilled french place! They do amazing bites and wines, the baked garlic with bread is always a go to and their snails are amazing too. Their wine list also has a selection of affordable and pricier ones and they are all delicious!
c. f.
The borough board was exceptional, great atmosphere throughout the evening , outdoor heaters meant we could sit outside even in the cold. Stian was an excellent waiter and really made our experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Great lively restaurant /bar in the heart of London Bridge - went there for a work reunion (7 of us) and enjoyed the ambience and the food. It’s on the noisier side hence the 4 star instead of 5, it was a challenge to keep the conversation going on top of the music. But would go again !
D. D.
I loved this little bistro. Excellent food and drink. One star docked because of incessantly reminding us we only had table for 2 hours - I only needed one reminder thanks as the slot was made clear at time of booking.
K. C.
Tasty Tapas.
Relatively quick service.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere and buzz/location.
Only comment was I didn't love the coffee it was only warm and a little too strong for my liking.

Great menu, lots of variety and everything i ordered was lovely. There was an issue where I ordered one thing and something else came out and this was resolved. But it was a bit disappointing to see the incorrect plate added to my bill, as the server believed that I ate it (which evidently wasn't true) luckily this was resolved in the end.
E. S.
Fantastic place; we sat outside at around 8pm in November and it felt cosy! And this is just underneath London Bridge we're talking about! They have heaters and comfy sofas outside, rustic, French-themed deco inside. The menu is great and the food platter was delicious.
Big big plus for me was that they not only accepted my 1yo kid but actively made her feel welcome. It's hard finding places that will accommodate children that late but it's a life-saver for the busy, working parent when childcare is not an option. Thank you,
R. D.
Weirdest toilets in London 😆 (you’ll see…)
Lovely charcuterie board and Vedett on tap. Nice outside area hidden away mere metres from London Bridge.
Convenient for Borough Market.
Would have been convenient for Jenny’s Cafe as well, but that closed in 2006.
u. m.
Cool seating area outside, with heaters made me feel like I'm on holidays outside UK. They have wheat beer what is hard to find in London, this is why we always go there. Prompt and nice service
S. P.
This little gem tucked away under the Barrow Boy and Bank. Is amazing the food is out of this world, The staff can't do enough for you. Iwill definitely be going back the next time I come to London
C. D.
This is one of my favourite place around borough market and London Bridge. It is a french pub with a lovely eaten garden and an indoor space. The place is very busy during the week, so I would advise to book if you want to secure a place inside. What I love the most is the food, amazing tapas, burger, and French cheese and meat plat. Great value for price, great quantity and quality. All the products are really fresh and the service is always welcoming and nice. There is also an impressive wine list. My favourite plate is the cheese plat. As you can choose from the cheese corner what cheese you would like and a cheese expert will advise you! Great place to go with friends or for a couple informal date.
G. K.
What an absolute gem of a place. Authentic tapas. Amazing cocktails.
T. R.
Interesting placed (below road level next to borough market) restaurant with a really nice vibe. Food is good (but nit great) so rating largely driven by ambiance.
N. B.
One of my faves in London - the food is always delicious (I’ve been through various iterations of the menu and it never disappoints) and they have a stellar selection of wines. The staff are extra friendly and accommodating too, which makes it a pleasure to return time and again
J. A.
Amazing french style tapas. We loved the goats cheese starter, crab cakes, beef onglet and seafood stew!
R.
It is a little gem hidden under the road. The food was delicious, seemed fresh, very well cooked and seasoned. I loved their soft and juicy lamb, deliciously grilled pimientos pardon, chorizo full of flavour, and the cheese and meat board. If it was warmer I would definitely suit outside.
They also have some really fantastic Belgium drought beer named with Solei.
The only remark I would make is to have more vegetarian tapas.
I will definitely return one day. Many thanks for the great time I had in your place!
M. G.
Went for lunch. Service was slow and food was average, one persons meal arrived after everybody had finished. They weren’t even busy so unclear why service was so bad. The small plates concept is a nice idea though. Considering how many great places there are I the area, won’t be coming back here.
R. B.
Really great restaurant tucked away under London bridge.
We went on a Sunday afternoon which was very relaxed. The staff were very friendly and happy to give recommendations on food and wine!
Would definitely go back for food and the good wine!
A. P.
Nice place to eat at when it’s sunny out! Been back here a few times! Mostly for that duck terrine mm!! Oh also you have to see the bathroom at this place it’s wild!
A. P.
Great place for lunch with colleagues. Amazing food and a good wine selection. Reasonably priced and an absolute sun trap protected from the wind.
Only criticism is the toilets are so dark! Almost pitch black with a multi colour disco light so not good for any one with epilepsy or sight impairments.
M. M.
Nice, mainly French Bodtro , run by mostly French staff. A lovely place, the only thing when I worked there it was very cold. But nice experience!...One thing I have to say though.." Frnch people" are quite cold. But they behaved nicely with me! Good 👍
O. G.
Amazing food, great ambiance and our server Stian was so polite and attentive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a buzzy atmosphere and great tapas food!
D. W.
Excellent food, drink and atmosphere - delivered by a solid team. I've been here a couple of times recently and have thoroughly enjoyed it. There's a good mix of small plates on the menu, so well suited to small groups. Drinks wise, you'll find some decent choices for wine, and a few cocktails. Very nice inside, but excellent outside if the weather is playing ball.
K. G.
Absolutely charming venue with outside seating, delicious food, good choice of drinks and lovely staff! Our waitress (I think her name was Ella) was fantastic. Would definitely recommend Boro Bistro!
l. g.
A fantastic lunch...great service and food. When booking I mentioned that my friend has a nut allergy. As soon as we arrived they referred to it, gave her a folder that contained clear details of all their dishes and ingredients. She was reassured and could order without worrying.
Have been here several times and am never disappointed. Highly recommend.
W. V.
Very bubbly atmosphere, lovely waiting staff and tasty food!

Great little place right by London Bridge Tube with Paris Match menus 😂 and DJ spinning the vinyls. Cheese and meat boards made up on full display with a fantastic selection to choose from. Decent wines on the list also. We paid £140 for 2 bottles and plenty of food for 4. Well worth a visit, great atmos.
K. N.
Great place and really good food with a great atmosphere. Stian who was our waiter was super attentive and made the experience really lovely.

Great food, atmosphere and particularly attentive service from Stian. We had a lovely evening. Thank you

Staff are quite friendly, the prices are good, the food is nice and it's a pretty little 'hidden gem' sitting outside in the summer. There is some....interesting decoration on the inside! We liked it so much when eating lunch at this place that we came back for dinner
J. H.
Lovely, quirky place next to Borough Market. Fantastic selection of cheeses, great food and Belgian beers on tap. Has a very eclectic outside seating area, but don't miss out on the inside, especially the way to the toilets. Super quirky, psychedelic and colorful.
A. C.
Had a wonderful night with my friends, the place was busy but the staff was exceptional, you must recognise professionals when they work hard despite the hard time, totally doing it again.

The food may not be authentically French, but the service is. All in all, it's fine - the food is decent and the atmosphere is pretty nice.

If you are lucky enough to get a spot at this place, you'll be in for a treat. The range of small plates of quality cheese and meats, together with several options of good and reliable dishes, are only improved when coupled with the extensive offerings of wines and beers. The location keeps this place busy, but the way it's hidden away in one of the busiest corners of the capital only adds to its appeal and popularity.
V. A.
Cute terrace right by Borough Market- have been going there for years and it never disappoints. The food is pretty good, although it’s not the main focus but the tapas style dishes will sort you out if you get peckish while having a drink. Staff is friendly even though service can be a little slow when they’re busy- which is fair enough! Good place for dates or casual drinks with friends
C. P.
Just love this place. Its really cool, great menu and the staff are wonderful. Also great French cheese and wine, marvellous .
J. S.
Outstanding service, food 10/10, atmosphere is great, not too expensive, overall a great place, highly recommended, our waitress Eve was superb

I have been in London for more than 2 years and I’ve always wanted to go there. And I finally did yesterday... I arrived and a really nice guy at the entrance gave me a warm welcome. I asked him if i can have a warm table outside ( near the heaters) and then his colleague Ðimitri took over and find me a great table. He even moved it a bit so I can be close to the heater, gave me blankets and took care of my order while I was waiting for my friend. It was getting busy and I was alone at the table, but they didn’t give me any pressure to move, it was not a big deal that I was waiting for my friend half an hour! ( yeah I have nice friends lol) I was really pleased with the atmosphere a bit unusual ( a lot of « weird » decorations) and the service was extra, thanks Ðimitri big time! ( plus he was speaking French with me which make me feel like home) See you soon for sure !
T. H.
Staff really lively and very attentive.
Love the sofas and it's worth a visit just for the toilets alone . Reasonably priced and definitely will be going back

So delighted to have found this quirky bistro. Food was delicious, had the Boro platter which I can highly recommend! Staff was fabulous. It was too cold to sit outside but we'll be back because it looked fab, with a variety of seating, blankets and cushions.
J. O. (.
Amazing decor, friendly (and slightly crazy) staff, a good range of food both snacks and meals, drinks are excellent and the place has a nice vibe about it.
J.
Great place! Not too many french tapasy spots around so appreciate the uniqueness. Good value - £35 a head for shared boards, tapas, wine & a cocktail. Lovely space down in the courtyard - covered & heaters
Also had brunch here a few years back - thoroughly enjoyed

Had a wonderful night with my friends, the place was busy but the staff was exceptional, you must recognise professionals when they work hard despite the hard time, totally doing it again.

Just had a wonderful evening at Boro Bistro. Our lovely waiter, Louis, was attentive and so welcoming. Atmosphere was perfect. Gorgeous outdoor seating area with plenty of heaters and perfect lighting. Food was really good quality too. We have already booked our next night out there. Thank you!
A. 2.
Great service and settings outside perfect litte place outdoors and hidden but obvious
L.
really nice atmosphere and food & wine but the service was incredibly slow for a thursday night. would definitely return but would ensure i left 2-3 hours for the table.
maybe schedule more than one member of staff for the charcuterie & cheese board station?? the poor guy was serving the entire restaurant. he was very knowledgeable and kind so big shout out to him despite the severe lack of support he got
N. M.
Honestly the best bar in London. The draught beers are wonderful and the wine list is expertly curated and very affordable. The staff are always happy to see you and the romantic atmosphere means it's always exciting to swing by, even without a date.
N. R.
Food is always great and love the atmosphere in here. Check out the menu before you go as there aren't many options for vegan or gluten free which didn't affect me but made slim pickings for my colleague. If they have more create more options for people with dietary requirements, I will make this a 5 star review as everything else was great!
D. S.
This place is great. Friendly, attentive staff. Tapas menu which were all great - meat lovers will like the beef Onglet - and nice fish dishes as well. we’ll be coming again!
M. N.
I love this place. The food is excellent but the ambience can't be beaten.
p. h.
Very nice bar with delicious Belgian beer and great tapas to nibble on after a good walk. The service was great was well. Will definitely pop in again for a pint soon
S. H.
Love this place. Lots of choice although the tables could be bigger!

The food may not be authentically French, but the service is. All in all, it's fine - the food is decent and the atmosphere is pretty nice.

Great food, great wine, great service. The restaurant is vibrant and has a good vibe
S. K.
Great atmosphere! Stian was a great host and took care of us extremely well great customer service
S. G.
Went there last Friday and the place is lovely! Great great food with great selection (almost ordered everything on the menu; the risotto, the beef onglet is to die for, the gambas, chicken wings... and the deserts!) The staff is also very welcoming and takes care of you; we had Emmeline and she was on point! Will definitely come back!
A. B.
Cool vibe and great French tapas in a hideaway location at Borrough Market. Really good value as well.
F. N.
A lovely and friendly place. Really nice seating and decor. A great place for catching up with friends or team lunch. The service was good and fast. Very attentive staff. The food was on point too!
A. E.
Great food in handy share plate sizes. The toilets are quite confronting for little ones though and the heater being broken on a cold day wasn't ideal.
A. F. D.
Nice place good service normal food but great dessert
S. A.
Superb food lovely staff. Great quirky trip to the toilet love it. Cannot wait to go back well worth the trip. Do not miss this lovely tapas french restaurant well recommended even creme brulee was delicious x
A. S.
This is a brilliant place. It is a perfect setting for a casual setup. I had the boro pepper gin , which was just perfect. The highlight was the prawn burger. This burger has no patty but has actual prawn pieces as meat. Amazing!
C. S.
So happy we found this place - walked past and looked fun and got a table. Service, food & atmosphere are AMAZING!!!! If I could give it more stars I would
J. P.
Excellent. Went for my daughter's birthday just after the restaurant reopened after the second lockdown. Only outside tables available but where we were was as though we were indoors, with the heating on. Mostly French staff. Food was excellent. Not necessarily traditional French cuisine but menu of small items to either mix or large platters to share. The cheese platter included a St Nectaire cheese from the Auvergne which was a great surprise. Highly recommended. Would definitely go again.
C.
Good food, quick service. Asparagus risotto and snails were especially tasty. The price was reasonable too.
E. H.
Service was slow but the food came out quickly and was good. Diverse menu with lots to choose from!
J. T.
Best place in town! Super friendly and professional staff, every time I go I have a great time ! This night it was Ella and Kenza who made our night great! Amazing menu : definitely the best sharing board in London, burgers are wonderful ( and very cheap for the quality and portions) and the winelist is terrific !!!! Did I mention they have proper french rillettes and bread? Definitely my dreams' place !
E. T.
Such a great French tapas place! You feel like you are in Europe. Delicious food, great charcuterie boards and all really reasonably priced! They have outside seating with blankets, heaters and umbrellas so it’s Covid and bad weather proof! Definitely recommend!!
C. S.
This restaurant is a lovely hidden gem next to borough market! Despite not having booked, they have been very organised and they found us a table. We had to wait a while to get our food out beacuse it was a really busy day the waitress brought us some olives to excuse the wait.
The best wait ever! Food was fresh and delicious, and portions were just right for an outdoor lunch. I had ricotta croquettes, bread with hummus and pan-fried hake with some extras and a glass of a French Vermentino.
The staff was very friendly but professionally prompt to assist you. I think prices are resonable We really loved it and we can't wait to try something else on the menu.
R. D.
Fantastic food. Such gorgeous flavours. Beautifully presented. Sadly sloppy service. Everything didn't arrive and even the reminders weren't responded to first time.
S. S. G.
This is a lovely place with an excellent ambience and a very unique atmosphere. Good selection of tapas and drinks and cheese boards.
A. P.
Cute French restaurant with melting wax candles as the centre pieces. Food good flavours, however a bit prices for the size of the portions, great selection of cheese and meats though!
S. C.
Wonderful experience. Staff so knowledgeable. Food and drinks exquisite x
A. M.
Absolutely delighted about my visit at the Boro Bistro; as a French person I couldn’t ask for any better. Food and wine were amazing, a great atmosphere in and out. Special kudos to Ella who has been a lovely waitress throughout our evening 🥰
K. C.
The food was all excellent as well as the drinks and our server Louis did an absolutely amazing job of looking after all of us :)
J. H.
I joined my friends for some afternoon drinks, having never been to this establishment. I was absolutely enamoured by the beautiful, relaxed outdoor sitting area of which we inhabited for hours. Once there was another booking for our table, we were lovingly placated to a different one that was almost as pleasant. While the service was outstanding from the whole team, I really have to highlight Margot's fantastic attentiveness, pace & general loveliness. Thank you for such a lovely experience.
K. O.
We ate here Saturday and Sunday night as we were staying at the Shard. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the staff were brilliant. We hadn't booked for the Sunday but after a bad experience at the Bunch of Grapes we went to see if they could squeeze us in. They managed to get us in even though it was close to closing. Overall a great, fun restaurant with a great atmosphere!!
S. P.
Very lovely restaurant/bar. Although I did spend 10 minutes trying to find it, and ended up on the wrong side! (My poor navigation had a part to play), it was well worth the hunt, and even outside in the rain it had a nice, cosy atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back to scope out the cabinet of curiosities interior, and our waiting person Margot was delightful and served up some yummy food and amazing still bottles of cider!
m. l.
Great food and ambiance. I particularly liked the wine menu- refreshing and nice to be served English Champagne. Food, simple yet delicious,Staff very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly
A. R.
Cool and so delicious! We also took some starters and chicken wings, all arrived great.
R. B.
My favourite place to go to in London. Everytime I bring someone there they always want to go back. I went back yesterday after lockdown and it felt even more amazing than before. New menu, high quality food which reminds me of home, great set up and friendly staff. Thanks Emeline and Kenza. We had the best time, you guys are legends! Highly recommended for dates , evening with friends or business.
A.
Love this place. Very unique with a lively atmosphere and awesome tapas style food. Also has a large outdoor area with lots of heating.
v. g.
Nice, charming bistro just outside Borough Market. Nice small, affordable French plates in a tapas-style.
s. m.
Great cheese and wine, love the atmosphere too!
R. Q.
Good food, good drinks, amazing service and great place! (Just a little bit expensive, but worth it) - I ordered the prawns with couliflower (pic below)
S.
Had an amazing lunch with super tasty food. The special cocktails made by Antoine and Dennis were great. Will definitely be back!
A. F.
Simply AMAZING ...Staff ....service...thee best expresso martini EVER XXX
W. C.
I love this place!!! Food was really good and an atmosphere are amazing!! Inside and outside everything looks so good!!! When I will come to London again I will visit this place again!!! Definitely I recommend! 😊
W. H.
One of the best restaurants I've been to. Food was perfect and staff were friendly, not to mention the decor inside and out creates a great vibe to eat/drink in.
G. B.
Really great food, beer and vibe. Super attentive service especially Louis C who was really friendly with great recommendations. Definitely would return!
M. S.
Amazing french version of tapas. Lots of option to try. Definitely worth visiting.
A. B.
So lucky to have found this restaurant! Staff were super friendly, food was delicious, vibes were on point. Couldn't recommend enough!! Thank you
L. P.
You definitely have to come here for the Boro Board and the Chocolat foundant! Absolutely delicious :) the wine list is also fabulous! Mathew was a wonderful waiter and we had a lovely time here thanks to his service.
R. G.
Stunning little al fresco dining area with great atmosphere. Service was spot on - friendly and attentive. Tapas hit the spot too. Would definitely go back.
N. J.
Excellent good and customer service, got myself platter of the day.

A little hidden gem , great food and beer selection in a comfy , quirky atmosphere - be careful when you go to the loo!
L. M.
A really lovely laid back bistro with great food, excellent service - super friendly and helpful staff - and delicious cocktails! An absolute favourite is the Boro Pepper Dream made by Dennis! Yummy!!
R. M.
I had a fabulous time at this lovely eaterie. The food was gorgeous, great atmosphere. We were lucky with the weather, and it was the first time out after four months of lockdown. But everything just seemed delightful, under the stone walls of Southwark cathedral, fairy lights, friendly, relaxed service and a great menu. And you gotta try the loos. They were great fun with disco lighting.
Z. F.
Excellent service as usual. Tarik superb! This place is a real find... Start to finish so attentive and a must try when you are in London Bridge. A thumbs up from me 👍
A. L. C.
Amazing French tapas in a quirky space. The staff was super friendly. Don't forget to go to the bathroom before you leave!
T. K.
Really nice place with well mixed drinks and finger food. Found the waiters all friendly and responsive.
Only weird thing was that the junior welcome manager rejected me after I answered I haven’t reserved, told me to come back later in the evening. Went away straight to OpenTable and booked for 2 and returned to him . Without any question he gave us a table. I assume he would like to work somewhere else maybe?
Next guests were not even asked just redirected to a QR code.
Guess the owner doesn’t know.
Atmosphere was great and I will return.
A. D.
Really tasty veggie tapas section of the menu and great Belgian beer. Lovely lunch
A.
Perhaps the highest praise I can give this restaurant is that when my girlfriend and I move to London we will choose our flat based on how close it is to Boro Bistro.
The food, the drinks, the staff, the ambience, was all perfect, and we’re struggling to think of a date place we’ve enjoyed more than here.
If you eat here, please get the snails, the fries, and the bread board at the very least.
Goodness me, what an awesome evening.
M. B.
What an amazing experience. The staff and food was amazing. Really love the way staff look after you and to be honest will definitely be back
M. D.
I love this place with my whole heart. Food is delicious, vast wine choice ans the atmosphere of the place is just unique.
Love the new addition between the toilets as well :)
J. H.
Cute hidden gem with great small plates and a really interesting set up inside and in tbe bathrooms! Really close to London Bridge and usually has space for walk ins!
H. D.
Fantastic little gem hidden away from the noise and bustle of London Bridge. Fab outdoor seating with heaters and blankets. It was great to be able to sit and eat outside even in March.
Atmosphere is really lively and music selection is very cool. Food is French tapas, which was completely different to anything I had had before but was so so good. Food options ranged from really good bread and garlic to snails and tartiflette.
Staff are really lovely and friendly. The toilets and decor have to be seen!!!
Really enjoyed this place and will definitely be going back. This could be my new favourite place 🙂
S. T.
Fantastic place to eat.
One of our favourite places to eat.
Excellent service & great atmosphere.
The burgers we had were cooked perfectly.
The Staff make the place, so friendly & Romantic.
A. P.
The food was completely and utterly delicious, this paired with a beautiful atmosphere and very attentive, friendly staff makes Boro Bistro an unmissable stop when looking for a date night in London!
K. T.
Cold outside and patio heaters R out of gas and had no more on premises
E.
Best charcuterie and cheese board I found in London, and amazing service. Perfect place for french missing france quality of food and service in a chilled bistro 💖
L. L.
We booked here for drinks after work and ordered a shared platter.
The wine was really tasty, the same for the food. The decoration is original and quite funny in the women rest room. The music was good and the staff helpful and friendly.
I only have good things to say. Highly recommended and book a table to be safe.
F. L.
Great variety of dishes and styles, lovely interior and a large trendy garden. The toilets are something pretty amazing too. I know, it sounds weird, but trust me. Food is excellent and service is reliably good. One of my favourites in the area.
B. G.
Dennis was suped attentive, kind and friendly and made it such a special evening for us. We can't wait to come back soon!

The place to be if you are looking for a great selection of French wine and French food !
The dishes are coming in a tapas portion. I'd recommend 4/5 dishes per person to be satisfied afterward.
Nice staff. Unique place.
D. M.
Lovely outdoors spot when the sun is shining that’s slightly hidden from the hustle bustle. Prices are fair, good selection of wine but service can be slow at times. Recommended for a post-work drink, catch up with friends or a lazy romantic afternoon.
S. K.
Good and authentic French food at an affordable price. The bathrooms were spacious clean and super funky.
L. C.
Great food, some portions smaller than others. French tapas. Good quality and reasonable price. Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Very different vibe at lunchtime and evening but equally as enjoyable. Would recommend
P. M.
Fun bistro, good food, freindly staff
T. S.
What a gem of a place. Food is interesting, with a twist on French classics in tapas size portions. At a reasonable price too. All French charming waiting staff. Great buzz, super setting, informal and still really quite Gallic. I enjoyed it.
A. R. D.
Very friendly and accommodating - my friend booked a reservation for the wrong day so when we rocked up 2 days later they didn't have our reservation, however they managed to find us a table. Staff are all lovely, the restaurant itself is quirky and unusual, being under the arches, and the food is amazing! Lovely French tapas, very reasonably priced. We were all stuffed! Highly recommended.
S. L.
The atmosphere was really friendly. The food was delicious. The staff were helpful. The only thing I can say is that the music was a bit too loud so we had to shout so we can hear each other but other than that it was great!
L. S.
Excellent cheese/meat platters and good wine. I also loved the weird candle wax decor everywhere as it adds to the French cavern vibe. We came for a friend's birthday and got a load of plates to share. The food was really yummy and bill was quite inexpensive given how much wine we had! It's super cosy inside too which is nice in winter.
J. P.
We had delicious food, great wine and absolutely fab service from Dennis. We would highly recommend a visit!
V. T.
Very cool location, semi hidden in borough market. They do lovely margaritas, a tad on the expensive side but to be expected in its location.
T. H.
Love this place! Loads of outdoor seating, and blankets in wintry conditions. Superb selection of beer and wine. The menu is changed often, and has both small and large plates. Highly recommended if you're in the area, but book it you want to sit inside!
R. T.
Excellent plates, GREAT music, and wonderful staff
P. H.
The goats cheese and aubergine parcels are the best thing I've ever eaten! Feels like you're on holiday even when it's raining! Perfect setting
K. K.
Food was amazing. The gentleman running security at the door is an absolute superstar.
Everything about the place was amazing.
The single point of failure was the lack of service due to being severely understaffed.
The waiting staff were on the whole very nice once we could get their attention. I don't blame them at all - senior management seriously needs to reconsider their staffing - especially when you expect to be busy on a Thursday evening in central London!!!
They would barely have survived the shift had the gentleman at the door not been going a thousand extra miles! Please commend this man!!
C. W.
Great atmosphere, food and drink. Service was brilliant- thank you very much Émeline!
C. H.
Unique and delicious French food served tapas style! The outdoor seating area is perfect for summer, and our waitress Kenza was very knowledgable and helpful with the wine selection - she was able to tell us all about where the different wines came from and how they are produced. Some of the best dishes we had were the crab cakes, the little goats cheese tarts and the roasted garlic.
L. O.
I visited here for dinner after work with an ex colleague on a nice summers day. We were looking for somewhere that would be a bit of a treat but not too unhealthy and think we found the perfect balance with Boro Bistro. We sat on the terrace next to Borough market which had a really nice buzz to it. The food was great and the price very reasonable given the location.
R. B.
Tapas are good but not great. Especially taking price per item per quantity into account.
Outside terrace is nice, enough heaters to keep you warm when it's a bit colder.
All staff were friendly and kind. So taking all in we had a good meal in a nice ambiance.
S. S.
I Always come back to this one. The atmosphere is perfect for bringing family to eat inside and for bringing friends for drinks outside. The food is really good, one of the best tapas in town. Service is not the best but it's not bad, staff is lovely tho.
weekends: one must come early or book in advance.
R. P.
One of the coolest places I've been to.
Couches, blankets and heaters make the outdoor area the coziest smoking zone I've been to. The atmosphere and decor inside are amazing, the staff is really friendly and the prices are nowhere near what you'd expect for such a location and service.
10/10, definitely one of my favourite spots in London.
A. B.
Lovely little intimate place near LB. Its always busy but because of the space feels very nice. Food and drink choices are great - especially love the garlic bread though portion size is small. Service a bit hit and miss.
P. M. K.
Nice seating area outside. Friendly staff. Pets allowed just outside and bowl of water provided :) No main meals in the menu but tasty selection of tapas. Found drinks and wine list bit expensive ... Bottle of prosecco around £35 (the cheapest) and cocktails for £10 each. Still a cool place to try out.
V. A.
The experience was nice, even if we been waiting 20 minute to be served.
The atmosphere is very cosy and nice.
The staff is not very attentive, but terrace is busy easy to understand.
Anyway is one of the best places for me in London.
L.
This place has been my favourite for a long time. Now I love it even more that it has new delicious menu, my most loved dishes are Jerusalem artichokes and snails. Best place to have a cup of tea, some nibbles and read a book in the garden
G. P.
Perfect spot and great food, j’adore ;)
E.
The food is DELICIOUS, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, there's great undercover outdoor seating with heaters, and inside is really cool and quirky. Fantastic place to eat and drink
N. M.
Super comfortable outdoor seating with many pillows and blankets. Food is very tasty. As found with many French restaurants the menu has everything separated which you may not realise. Example being the meatballs, very tasty but only three and not too large. Have to order her and other ingredients separately. A little pricey.
T. K.
We were excited to find this cosy corner.
The small plates were delicious and the wine list great!!!
E. T.
Lovely outdoor space for a drink. My espresso martini was too sour to drink and while I didn't want to send it back, the waiter offered to have the bartender make another one which was PERFECT. My new fave drink place in the area! Also, COOLEST bathrooms!
K. W.
The tapas was good, although perhaps a little greasy on some dishes, with the pearl barley and Camembert a total winner. I will go back for that alone! Fairly dreadful service and horrendous toilets however.
A. D.
Definitely 3 stars stretching to 4. The food is great, the atmosphere the decor, all great. But dear God the service is rubbish, went for drinks and tapas after a long day at work , and I put more effort into getting the waiter's attention than I did all day at the office! It was a good 40 minutes before we could order, another half hour for the food to come out and another 40 minutes before we could order further drinks/dessert. Waiter seemed annoyed when I finally caught his attention to call him over for our order. We asked for the bill when we ordered dessert to prevent us from staying another hour! They weren't that busy and there were times when he was standing around chatting while we were waiting.I would try them again, but I would be disappointed if I had the same waiter/service. We did more waiting than he did.
M. D.
Nice French restaurant and cocktail bar in the very centre of London bridge in a fantastic location. The food is good as the drinks are. Nice staff on site. Ideal for a pleasant afternoon with your friends
E. Y.
Great food, beers, staff and environment... furthermore, they are dog-friendly! They offered my puppy a bowl of water as we arrived. I am addicted now to their garlic bread and olives. The best spot near London Bridge
T. İ.
The atmosphere and food was good. The staff was super sweet. There was a problem in the kitchen and the food came in like an hour or so. They gave us extra burgers and they didnt even charged us.
H. M.
Good food! little bro took me there while in London. Service was off the chart. If you get Luke as your server, you're in for a treat. Hands down, Like makes the restaurant special. His knowledge of different dishes and wine is 🔥🔥. Go and check it for yourselves. Big ups to Luke.
J. W.
Some heater outside and a lot of blankets so even if you are sensitive to the cold you can stay outside and sit down during the winter.
Food is good, good selection of beers and other drinks, a bit pricey but it is the borough market area...
Point to improve: some of the staff could be a bit nicer & some gluten free options (both drinks and food) would be welcomed.
J. R.
delicious French tapas!
A. B.
Delicious amazing food and lovely service. I had the scallop salad and camembert along with Belgian beer. The décor and atmosphere is really good. I've not visited a place as vibrant and relaxed whilst still maintaing the high service of a fast paced resteraunt. It was raining the day I went and was moved inside to a better sea out of the way of the rain. I shall be going back with friends and would highly recommend this to people to visit.
m.
I was there in a last minute meeting with my bffs on a sunday evening. Relaxing and chilled atmosphere. We were 4 and we ordered 1 beer, 1 coke, 1 orangina, 2 padron peppers portions, 1 camembert, 1 burger, 1 humus, 1 sweet potatoes fries and 1 potatoes wedges.
We paid 54£ in total. We enjoyed and had good time on the bench outside full of pillows.
Perfect girls night out.
Affordable, reasonable portions.
We will go back for sure!
C. M.
The variety is good, but be aware that they serve small portions. Its usually 3-5 portions per person! Not the cheapest place around but the food is good and nice environment. If want to socialise, this is the best option around. If you're really hungry getting something from the market
J. W.
Great supper there. Such a coool spot.
c. c.
Good venue under the shadow of the cathedral. Blankets out now that it's autumn and a great place to take in some atmosphere. The cheese and meat board was top, would recommend
S. L.
Lovely tapas food, a little slow on the sevice however. We went in the winter and it was really cold inside, we all kept our jackets on. This would be a lovely spot in the summer however to drink in their outside space.
s. s.
Amazing food! Decent price. Had the best server (Louie) would come back anytime. Louie deserves a pay rise!!
M. O. L.
Lovely outside and staff is so friendly. Food is very good but the vegan gluten free options are really limited. However coming to just have a drink is worth is too.
R. G.
A smart casual, excellent restaurant. The cheesemonger is absolutely fantastic. The sharing boards are perfect, and the staff are great. Such an immensely enjoyable experience, in a very unassuming place, right on the doorstep of London bridge station and borough market.
M. C.
Went here for a few drinks - nice, quirky outdoor area, average London prices
T. C.
A great place to hang out on comfy seats under patio heaters and blankets if you need them. There's a nice selection of continental and local beers as well as plenty of wines for the ladies! It's next to London Bridge so you might expect it to be noisy but its actually fairly well insulated from the noise.
K. W.
Really nice setting but food was just OK! sharing board was great but the tapas weren't as tasty as I had hoped from the description! Great wine menu !
T. L.
A local gem, often passed by accident as it’s just around the corner from stairs heading into borough market.
Amazing French food. Brilliant Belgian beers. Quirky interior decor.
K. M.
Adore this place, have been on quite a few various occasions - great for dates. Definitely book though as gets very busy particularly on sunny days. Throughly recommend the Boro Board. Perfect selection of meat & cheeses.
H. H.
Amazing place. Great selection of wine and good portion food for tapas style. Highly recommended with a great interior which is querky and interesting all round! Highly recommended. Staff are great as well and very affordable!
A. C.
Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced (and blankets for dining outside), dessert was delicious!
D. N.
No, London isn't known for their food, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better execution of French cuisine and whatever else.
The atmosphere has one of those quiet, dark corner, Han Solo and Greedo vibes, with long-melted candles lightly splattering the walls separating you from your neighbors.
Beer selection was great - nothing I'd ever seen until then, and that's all I need. However the real crowing jewel was the Croque Salmon, which was, hands down, the very best side plate my longing lips had ever savoured. It was magnificent.
Absolutely I would recommend this to anyone with a mouth and a hungry stomach, though the latter isn't mandatory.
S. P.
Fantastic spot underneath Southwark Cathedral with a spacious outdoor area and an eccentric, shabby chic vibe that perfectly complements sharing plates of delicious tapas and bottles of wine.
If you find yourself frustrated at the queue to get in to other nearby restaurants do yourself a favour and come here instead - while there was a good bustle its reputation hasn't outgrown its capacity.
Top tip: make sure you take a trip to the bathroom when you visit whether or not in need of relief.
A. R.
Great wine and good cheese board
A. N.
Great experience and enjoyable food!
S. J.
This place is my go to bar for cheese and meat board, as well as the wine. All the staff is french, they're lovely and super helpful. The price is also quite cheap knowing the area and the amount of food the plates come with! Take my work, I'm French AND Swiss!
E. c.
Cute hidden gem near Borough Market. French small plates for sharing, great charcuterie & cheese from the market itself. Super chilled vibe, cosy quirky decor, huge heated terrace which is lovely in the summer.
P. M.
We went back last Friday 24 May 19 after a bad experience in March. Pleased to say we had a fabulous evening, food and atmosphere as always was great and this time the service was up to the same standards. Thank you Chris for looking after us.
S. B.
Casual but very good food and drinks in a fantastic courtyard tucked back behind the market.
A. S.
A decent restaurant with a good selection of wine to fit anyone's pocket. They do a good platter of cheese and nibbles too. The service is friendly but a bit slow - go if you are looking to spend a long evening with friends.
J. F.
Nothing to say but it was more than fine. Very friendly staff, the wine selection is very nice and for all kinds of budgets. I went there to have diner and the food was really fresh, the cuisine well elaborated and it reminded me the time I spent in France.
I definitely recommend that place.
D. J.
Lovely place, but don't get the cider, tasted like bloody vinegar! Lots of other nice drinks though
A. W.
Good food, great options, smallish portions, polite but quiet service, great location and comfy seats outside even on a cold Feb evening. Will come again.
C. M.
Lovely atmosphere, you get staff there a bit lacking knowledge of actual cocktails and how to suggest a drink or food. Maybe a little tasting and training would be a good idea. Good place in general!
E. M.
I meet my my friend every so often in the London Bridge area. We tried boro Bistro for the first wand I have to say the following: We booked a table and it wS inside, I prefer outside and they quickly found a table. Our waitress Nini moved us from a small table to a more comfortable table as soon as it was possible. The food is very french and the ambience is brilliant. A small piece of France in Southwark! Nini our wAitress was superb and I seriously would recommend
I. C.
I've been here three times and everything is perfect, the food, drinks service and atmosphere- you can't beat it! If you visit any restaurant in London come here!
v. b.
Fantastic food and lovely staff. I love everything about this place. The menu is varied and delicious. Definitely coming back and back again!
W. Y. T.
Food and wine were superb! My sister and I had the pleasure of being served by Kenza who recommended the most delicious tapas and wine - thank you so much!
M.
Its funny to call Padrón peppers, bake chorizo or serrano ham french food. The food is not really good to be honest, its expensive and rations are pretty small, also found it very expensive, for the amount and quality. The toilets are like come out of a horror film. the place where it is, is amazing that is why I put 3 stars, not really for the food, which could really be improve and call just Spanish Tapas and food of the world instead of French food, which is far from reality.
K. C.
Good food. Great atmosphere. Friendly waiters with a sense of humour. Not child oriented. Happy to eat there again.
T. C.
Lovely food, lovely vibe! Thanks Pauline for taking care of us. 😊
L. S.
One of my go to places after work for drinks. The serving staff are lovely and are more than happy to help you select a bottle of wine or a cocktail (very good selection) and the food is always delicious!
C. C.
We celebrated a birthday party at Boro Bistro on Saturday and I recomment highly ! The drinks are great, the winelist extensive, the food is absolutely delicious and perfect for sharing, the decor is great but what really makes any night at Boro Bistro great is the service, attentive but not overbearing, with a smile, Nini took care of us and she was amazing, we never had to wait for anything and there was never an empty glass ! If you haven't already been, I suggest you go to Boro Bistro very soon. Be sure to book though because it's always busy !
N. N.
Quirky, shabby chic bar, situated in a nice quiet corner. Below main street level by the cathedral and Borough market. Not cheap but a lovely experience.
E. H.
Great place for outdoor drinks and nice small plates. We were very well cared for by Louis!
M. C.
Amazing food and a really funky place. Not over priced at all considering the location and the decor is fab! Great staff/service too. 👍
o. d.
Little gem! Tucked away under the bridge near Borough Market. They have a garden with heaters and blankets where you can chill on sofas and enjoy a delicious charcuterie board. You can also order from their tapas style menu with mini french recipes that are right on point. Some of the dishes are similar to what my french grandmother cooks :) absolutely love this place! Its winter as well summer. The french touch is there especially with all the waiters beint french!
H. W.
Sat outside (in December!) as it was so busy inside, but service was excellent, and they brought us blankets and turned our nearest heater up. Food was delicious and reasonable value. Would definitely recommend!
j.
Bad for anyone with any sort of allergy/intolerance/dietary requirement.
Very nice environment and helpful staff.
D. M.
Brilliant service and excellent food, definitely going again
R. B.
Wonderful patio area nestled down the stairs next to Southwark Cathedral. Cozy spot to grab 7-8 small plates between a couple friends and have all the variety your hearts could desire with room for dessert Especially enjoyed the merguez lemon mint, and chocolate fondant.
V. A.
What a marvellous place! Full of decoration originality, great drinks and tasty platters. Through in cheeky smart staff and you got a super mix.
Ν. Μ.
Best place in London Bridge, hidden in plain site. Quality coffee and amazing environment. The toilets are a state of art.
C. N.
Very good food however the atmosphere was very loud in there at times, we still would recommend this establishment as this just may have been a one off occasion that it happened to be that load
P. S.
Tapas is so good, nice outside setting next to Borough Market.
S. C.
Very nice place to chill out when weather is fine. The food is good and healthy. The price is good having in mind the location. To improve: the size of the servings should be slightly bigger.
S. W. M.
Came here for a quick drink. Nice selection of beer and the outside seating area, even when it's a little cold outside is comfortable with the heating. However, the drinks are pricey and service can be slow. Good place to grab a quick drink.
e. o.
I love this place! The food is great and so is the atmosphere. The decor reminds me of Alice and wonderland! The service is too standard too. Everyone is so friendly!
J. B.
A regular haunt when I am looking for a consistently good dinner. Nice french tapas for a good price. Wine selection is not to my taste and a bit pricey for the quality.
S. C.
Quirky place. Stumbled across this great place. Good food. Quite well pricef for London
Friendly and prompt service. Food ok, but loved the atmosphere, so will definitely return
F. S. A.
Lovely cafe with good service, great food, and relaxed atmosphere.
G. S.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere!! Our server Kenza was awesome. When in London you need to find this little hole in the wall!!
T. W.
Food was great, but the service was significantly slow. To be fair, we were there towards the end of the night, but it seemed they weren’t interested in getting us our food so we could eat and get out.
C. P.
Fantastic service, good choice of Belgium beers and wine, "tapas" food is great. Bit on the pricey side but highly recommended if you're going to be in the area and want a seat outside.
C. K.
This is one of the coolest places I have discovered in London recently. Just off the hustle and bustle of London Bridge, Boro Bistro is a cozy French style bistro that has a fantastic outdoor space where you can lounge while enjoying their large selection of wine or Belgian beers.
C. R.
Super cosy vibe, really good place to go from London Bridge. Beer could be a tad cheaper, but food was bang on. Max recommended the brisket burger, which was dead noice.
K. A.
Nice ambience and option for outdoor seating. Tapas food good quality. Went for a birthday meal of 6 and had a nice time
K. K.
Food great. Atmosphere also. A French restaurant with really good and economics drinks and dishes. Come there for dinner or a drink, and relax on their beds with a blanket on
I. M.
Love this place. Excellent food, great service and just lovely surroundings. Such a gem amongst all the generic chain bars and restaurants in the East.
J. M.
Hidden gem. Really great food, good wine selection, good service. Hidden away, but they provide blankets and a warming atmosphere
T. A.
Lovely bar in borough market that can feel like it is transporting you to France.
D. M.
They have just changed the name from La Cave to Borought bistro or similar. It's a bistro more than a restaurant, really french style and really good wines/cheese/ham directly from boro market.
Good roasted cod, roasted salmon and a really good onion soup.
Be there with my family and we loved it. Quite cheap, 125£ in five with wine and 2 big board to share and 6 main dishes.
Raccomended also for couples
A. M. G.
Very peculiar design with vintage beds as sofas. Great service. Shame they dont do Whisky bottles.
L. H.
Very French, very chic
G. P.
Great food, great drinks menu, great service, great location. Nice place to chill out and enjoy 😎
N. S.
I had a delightful experience at Boro Bistro. Me and my wife were served by a young man called Anton who gave us wonderful service. Do recommend!
M. R.
Nice burger and fries, very tasty, staff is good, prices are okay. Best option in the near. Thank you!
P. P.
Very nice food and drinks. The waiter Max was very professional
A. N.
Peculiar yet beautiful bistro near the Borough market. The terrace is very enjoyable, even in late-autumn. Make sure to go to the bathroom, there are some interesting artifacts on the way!
N. B.
Good venue, food and beer, we have been several times with work but can never stay very long given all beers are stronger than the usual Euro fizz we are used to.
B. P.
Great service, the tapas were very good. Great environment and great wine list. Not to expensive as well.
I. C. f.
It was a super nice bar we just didn't expect to find. The personal was super nice and the decoration so innovative. Such a charming place!
D. E. C.
Been going her for 4 years. Always a great meal and great experience. Staff are amazing could not recommend more
L. B.
So tasty, visited with a bunch of french people who enjoyed it too. We have booked to go back when we have guests next month!
M. E.
Decent grub - really good people watching place with a great vibe. Excellent music and an outstanding toilet walk!!!
S. B.
The best mojito from Denise! I’ll come back for sure to have it one more time
L. T.
Good food and very friendly French staff.
By the way, the terrace is amazing (in the winter like in the summer).
👍
R. C.
Very busy. We enjoyed sitting outside drinking good wine next to the outdoor heaters. Staff are friendly.
A. K.
Super delicious. We had a small problem but they were very friendly people who were really helpful and understanding.
J. M.
Excellent hip French bistro. Without exception, best service in London Bridge area. Meat and and cheese plates are superb.

Tasty small plates in a lovely terrace sandwiched between Southwark cathedral and London Bridge. Toilets are a talking point - cooler than many nightclubs!
O. J.
Louis was #quiche and he’s abso gorgessticks and pours wine like a lewsticksss
R. H. C.
Very cool place for a drink.
A. B.
Lovely food and the staff are very attentive and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!
G. H.
Emily, our waitress, was amazing. As was the food. Well worth it.
m. w.
Love this place. Great food. The plants could do with some TLC though but you don't eat those 🙄
Ż. W.
What can I say... really good food, very nice staff and super atmosphere/decorations. I will definately come back when I'm in London again.
A. U.
Food was great, nice quiet back ally pub with good vibes. A tad pricey though
A. C.
A secret place in London tucked away under London Bridge. Waiters and waitresses are excellent. A nice surprise awaits you when you go for a pee!
A. J.
Always an interesting menu. Amusingly difficult to find though you can see it from the bridge. Tres Francais. Good value for money and has a reasonable number of options for vegetarians.
m. k.
Every time I go I enjoy this place more and more. Tasty food, reasonable prices and probably the best toilet in London. Just go.
A. T. E. E.
Great food...Great atmosphere... Great customer service what else do you need!
I. W.
Relaxed, easy place to eat and drink. Shame the pictures are removed from the men's toilets - they were maybe politically incorrect, but historic and factual and entertaining.
A. C.
lovely place, nice drinks, food portions too small as it is similar to a tapas bar
J. C.
Best cheese and charcuterie sharing board. The terrace with good weather and a glass of nice French wine is unbeatable.
C. D.
Fab outside space. Great atmosphere. Good cocktails. Exceptional staff. Good food.
G. I.
Hidden Gem, lovely courtyard with great selection of food and drinks.

One of my favourite places in London. Great service, great food and wine. Chocolate fondant is must have.
Z. K.
Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon
J. C.
Wonderful staff. Amazing veggie food! Has to be my favourite place to eat in London.
R. R.
A little bit expensive, but the bar deserve a view for his eclectic Parisian style. Must be really nice to stay outside with nice weather and a glass of wine
I. H.
My wife loved it
S. P.
A cool bar underneath london bridge!
Drink menu was good and food did look good. Staff were also very friendly!
L. G.
Love this place, hidden away from London Bridge traffic. Food is delicious, great food options for vegetarians.
D. C.
Really cosy hidden gem in close proximity to Borough Market. Fantastic food and wine choices.
J. P. C. S.
Absolutely love this place. Fine range of succulent spirits and great coffee too. A must try.
L. B.
Surprisingly and despite being in such a busy area, the sitting area in the patio was very tranquile and kept warm!
A. L.
Great hidden gem in London. Nice outdoor seating area, good Belgian beers and friendly staff.
I. W.
Staff are lovely and it would be a great place for a drink but the food was very average.
R. H.
Just brilliant. The staff were the best feature but the location and general ambiance are a close second. Loved it.
D. H.
Lovely food, great wine list and cute setting
C. S.
Great food, great atmosphere. If you want to sit on a sofa you MUST reserve
P.
My new favourite restaurant, apart from the price of beer. Great atmosphere inside
T. I.
It's got a great outdoor area. Food is also good, if a little expensive. But you have got to expect that given it being in such a touristy location
J. J.
Small and cosy with outdoor seating and blankets to keep you warm. Great French food.
J. L.
Underrated. Good food, good atmosphere.
B. A.
Great location, cute courtyard tucked away by London Bridge. Perfect for casual day drinks with friends
L. J.
Pukka place ,music inside can be a bit loud for some, atmosphere good. Check out the loos decor 😁
I. S.
Nice tapas, friendly service. Need to book to get seated indoors though.
C. B. (.
My favourite place in London for great cheese, wine and ambiance.
R. W.
Tucked away below street level you could easily miss this place. My experience here has been variable receiving good service when it's not too busy but non-existent service when they are.
L. R.
Amazing atmosphere, food and wine. The perfect place for a late evening meal.
e. w.
Food excellent as always thank you chef Joseph
R. M.
Offer a great burger and cheese platter. Sitting in their outdoor area is a must with a glass of wine in the sun.
C. G.
This place is amazing. Been here numerous times, never disappointed! X
A. C.
Slow service but staff are very pleasant. Delicious food and comfy seating.
R. K.
Staff were a bit off. Excellent selection of wines and the cheeses we had were out of this world
L. T.
Fantastic food and wonderful serivce - so attentive! Will definitely be back
m. p.
Great food and excellent atmosphere. The management (Dimitri) were fantastic. Thanks
D. T.
It's a nice little hidden pocket of French cuisine in London, it's nice, but not 5* amazing.

The concept of the food was great, it just wasn't executed super well - the asparagus was overcooked, the peas were raw, and the lamb was dry.

Great small French plates sandwiched between Southwark cathedral and London Bridge with a toilet cooler than most nightclubs

Quirky decor and delicious food. Incredible flavours and loads of variety for non meat eaters.

Bit difficult to find. Shared platter very good but wine very over priced.

The wine was truly awful and relatively expensive. We tried two bottles, the house white wine didn't reflect well on the house...
