Reviews of Bramleys Restaurant

So glad we decided to have our date night at Bramleys: gorgeous food and drink with reasonable prices; great atmosphere with delightful interior design; and lovely staffs. Fab place in our neighbourhood. We both quite enjoyed our night out.
Definitely recommend!

A lovely experience at Bramleys tonight. I really love the interior design and the little details that the owners have applied to this lovely restaurant.
We were greeted warmly by the front of house which is so important to me when you are trying a new restaurant out.
The food was exquisite. I had the warm goats cheese to start with. It was just the right amount of goats cheese with a balsamic glaze. DELICIOUS!
Mains- lamb cutlets with greens which again were so tasty.
To finish off we shared a Nutella cheesecake.
I normally do not order desert but this has to be ordered.
Will definitely go back. How can I not when I truly had such a lovely dining experience.

Totally amazing. Staff, atmosphere, music, food. Probably kindest staff in that area. Highly recommended. Steak was perfect! Then we tried Tiramisu as dessert , it was amazing as well. Definitely will visit there again.

Dining at Bramleys was an amazing experience. Delicious food, warm and welcoming staff and pleasant ambiance. Finished the night with a yummy cheescake. Will definitely make it a Thursday regular!

Almost don’t want to share this new local find, 2 months open and not just dinner they’ve just started weekend lunch.
Had fabulous lunch with my best friend today, we started with cheeky skewered king prawns and calamari, surf and turf burger and fries and (if you only experience one thing here) Bramleys apple mouse desert. We topped it off with an apple inspired cocktail (and coffee) to finish.
Staff friendly, perfectly attentive and location local but felt like top London quality. We are lucky that this family run establishment has opened - why go into town when there’s this on your doorstep. Enjoy.

Friendly and attentive staff, food was amazing! Lovely decor and very comfortable. I would love to visit again soon!

Tried Bramleys for the first time. Liked the decor - reminded me of a luxury hotel restaurant. We were greeted nicely and the staff were friendly. Service was good too.
We had starters - prawns with chilli dip - octopus.
Thought they were both nice although there were only 4 prawns which made it quite a modest portion.
Mains we had - steak burger, sweet potato fries and salad —- sirloin steak, chips, mushrooms and green veg.
The steak burger was very good and the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy.
The Sirloin steak was also very good (not the best I’ve had though) and the mushrooms were delicious. I was quite disappointed that the chips were not freshly fried potatoes but seemed like frozen ones, especially given the price. Also not a fan of baking cherry tomatoes while on the vine - they look great but a nuisance to eat.
Overall, it was a good meal but it was all a bit pricey! We had a similar meal at Miller and Carter which I have to say was a bit better, we also had more drinks and a dessert and it was still cheaper than Bramleys.
Have to say I wasn’t a fan of the background music choice either. It seemed to be mostly club/dance music which may be trendy, but I suspect a majority of the age group that likes/knows that stuff would probably eat somewhere cheaper. We didn’t see many people under 40 in there anyway (us included).
Summary then - respectable quality but a bit overpriced.

Hands down Bramleys should win awards for front of house. The food is great, understated, and doesn't try to be something it isn't. Interestingly, I'm a web developer and out of pure curiosity, I decided to run the 1 star reviews here through a natural language processing algorithm, in an attempt to figure out why they all seem to stem from the same place. Simply put, they mostly do.
Will be visiting again, but for the daytime menu. We are local and Bramleys is a breath of fresh air. Kudos to the design team!

The two young gentlemen were fantastic waiters, especially George. We opted for the bottomless brunch and they didn't make us feel rushed and always made sure our drinks were topped up. If you fancy a boozy Sunday funday then this is definitely a great place to begin the day.
Lovely food, drink and customer service.
