Reviews of Brasserie of Light
J. F.
The place is absolutely gorgeous! We went there for Sunday brunch and it was a lovely experience.
The truffle croquettes were fantastic, the zucchini fries were very flavourful albeit more oily than anticipated, the chicken Milanese was great but get some fries with it and the egg dishes were ok.
I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a lush experience!
E. L.
The ambience is great. It has a trendy vibe and artistic decoration. It is in Selfridges, so it is good to visit after shopping.
The food seemed to be Asian fusion with European. We had scallops for starters, but they were served one dish at a time instead of together. I don't know why, as they didn’t explain it. We had chicken breast and lamb for our mains. The chicken was with teriyaki sauce. Overall, the taste was TOO salty and strong for me.
The staff paid attention to our wine glasses to pour the wine. I liked the violinists who were playing live in front of the customers.
It is an interesting restaurant to visit to chill out, but the food isn’t to my taste and below average. I would probably go back there for drinks after shopping to rest my legs, as I like the atmosphere.
R. S.
Had a nice brunch here, I liked the Eggs Royale. Quite fancy and unique decor, and it's a good place for drinks too. Felt a little let down by the attentiveness of the service though. Expect prices in line with the area.
M. K.
I am hunting nice places to visit that are pleasant for eye and serve amazing food. I’m giving 5 stars as Food, Service and restaurant have met all my expectations. Place is wheelchair friendly. Service very nice, professional and fast. I had very nice experience. Restaurant is Easy to find perfect for meal after exhausting shopping 🛍 Thank You!
B.
Memorable experience. Had a breakfast, the food was elegantly presented and the service professional. What was amazing was the Art Deco surrounds and elegant mirrors throughout. It was truly an enlightening experience.
T. K.
Passing through the Art Deco mirror-lined and blush pink bar, to the dining room of the Brasserie of Light housed within Selfridges, you’re transported to the ideal for ladies who lunch.
Seriously one of the most elegant and beautiful restaurants. Amazing and friendly staff.
My favourite dish - King crab with avocado
P. B.
Brasserie of Light is a very bright, clean and quirky place. The service is very quick and friendly and the food and drinks are tasty. It offers a broad variety of different lunch items, so there's lots to choose from. The breakfast menu is ending quite early, especially for weekends. We went at 10:30 and it was already on the lunch menu.
K. B.
My sister and I have a new obsession recently which is brunches/ breakfast outing. The Brasserie of Light, has become my new favourite place to eat out. We went for breakfast, which was amazing experience. The food is always fresh, cooked well and delicious.
Highlight of the breakfast was the pancakes, very light and sweet. The staff are always attative and friendly. The overall place has a beautiful design, and great for taking pictures. I will definitely recommend going here.
V. S.
Loved it what an atmosphere based in Selfridges it is an up market restaurant i would say. They also do tea and there is a bar so cocktails and drinks. We went at lunch time with a friend and the service and food was delicious. We started off with a drink of Bellini which was followed by snacks and the mains. One of the snacks was zucchini dipped in a batter and fried and the lamp chops were also worth having. Not cheap but worth a visit if you want to mix with the upper class.
F. A.
Fantastic service, fantastic food. I was actually stuffed after having a main course and dessert. Had no issues with my reservation, even though I was running late. They were kind to keep my table as I had called earlier to inform them. The ambiance is also great.
I went at night and the atmosphere was electrifying. It also looks like it'll be pretty looking in the day time. 100% recommend
C. B.
Having a reservation makes dining entry easier as is the only way at the moment. Service was incredibly perfect. Starter was delicious as well as the main course except for a strong herb taste which was a bit bitter. Besides that it was a great experience.
N. M.
Really incredible spot for brunch fare - loved the Malaysian prawn curry, the popcorn shrimp and their drinks
Came back for dinner and, while the menu is pretty limited for veg mains and our service was really slow, the food is delicious and the vibe is great - definitely recommend the burrata and the beetroot salads
L. C.
Beautiful light, bright and airy restaurant situated in Selfridges. Lovely menu with light bites to classic dishes. We enjoyed our food and the cocktails were fantastic, we were given recommendations from the staff on things to try from the menu's.
The service was great from all the staff and the food and drinks were prompt to the table considering how busy the restaurant was. Definitely dine here again.

Brasserie of light is based in Selfridges London.
I finally got to visit for a breakfast one Sunday morning, where I was greeted by one of the friendliest and loveliest Italian doorman.
The decor and aesthetics in this place are amazing (inclusions the bathrooms)
You will be dazzled by the humungous pegasus that is on display. This makes for a fab selfie.
The staff inside were friendly and attentive
the breakfast I had was delicious and accordingly priced i felt.
T. W.
Came on a Monday morning for breakfast before 11am. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all and the service was faultless. Everyone was so welcoming and cheerful! Amazing hospitality. The breakfast was amazing as well. Highly recommend to visit!
S. C.
Later afternoon snack inside of the beautiful Brasserie of Light and the experience didn’t disappoint. Inside is seductively lit with candle lit tables, food were bite sized and tasting menu portions
H. R.
Ok, so the location is very nice, decor is nice too. Now the food, pancakes were delicious, was a bit disappointed with the vege breakfast- poached eggs were far too over cooked. Coffee tasted more of milk than coffee, the strawberry kisses brink was awsome. Customer was decent and efficient. I wouldn’t be against going again.
D. W.
Lovely ambiance, lovely view, staff attentive, comfortable, meals presented well.
Expected the food also to be "wow" to match the setting, but really disappointed.
Regrettably taste was average, and not the best texture for either of the two meals.
The tortellini was too heavy. The prawn curry rather bland.
High marks are just because of staff and service.
But I wouldn't go back.
I.
It was surprisingly busy for 9am but service was quick and it was a lovely breakfast experience. Staff were attentive and checked-in quite frequently, food was well-priced, portions fair and options were far from limited.
G. C.
All restaurants in the ivy chain get a thumbs up from me. Good portion sizes and interesting dish combinations. Desserts are a must and not just great looking but great flavour combinations as well. Lovely decor and although very “Instagram” the food is what will keep me going back!
H.
I had made reservation for two tables last night. I had tried to call them multiple times but no one answered to let them know we were running abit behind time. (only 10mins late)
On arrival it was very disappointing to be told that you are only allowed 5 mins late arrival time on reservation and she had cancelled my booking (despite the email confirms a 10 minute window) and then made to feel like your not welcome at the restaurant based on looks, it felt like it was directed at our race and appearances. The hostess looks you up and down and be-littles you. (luckily she rebooked us in as if she was doing us a favour)
I should think a respected establishment like selfidges should have equality and diversity in every race. we were made to feel like we’re not good enough to come dine in your restaurant.
However, I would like to say the dining service and waiters were amazing.
I would hope you review your front of house host etiquette is more welcoming to all customers regardless of your ethnicity - black white or Asian…
I dont think I would dine here again or bring any friends. We spent all in all around £800 combined 2 tables they do not allow you to book more then 6 people at a table because they are unable to arrange the seating for you.
A. S.
I was very satisfied with the food. For the starters I’d go with the scallops and the mushroom balls. I had a ravioli with a steak which was also very nicely cooked. The service although was a bit too slow
E. G.
Great food! Was taken to lunch there by my sister for my birthday! Awesome!
S. B.
I have visited a few times, always a great experience and would recommend for dinner/lunch. The food is delicious. I have tried the roast chicken, lobster pasta, truffle balls, fish nachos, prawn bites, and mixed salad. I did feel there was too much truffle in the food. The Damien Hurst Pegasus looks amazing!!! Bathroom also good for selfies. Their is an entrance on one of the side streets with a lift that takes you directly up to the restaurant - to avoid getting lost in Selfridge.
S. M. J.
Great brasserie style food, good service from the front of house and a lively atmosphere. Expect to spend £30++ per person here.
k. l.
the scallops reminds me of a similar one I had in cafe Joel Robuchon back in HK, excellent quality. Cocktails were really nice as well
M. S.
Enjoyed my meal here. I loved the Malaysian prawn curry. Picturesque interior.
A. L.
Highly recommend . Beautiful food , lovely atmosphere and service ..we will definitely be back !
I went back again today and was again so impressed ! The staff are on it !! Polite and we had such a friendly waiter .The food is delicious and I think excellent value for the quality ,service and ambience !! It's definitely a favourite and I highly recommend !!
M.
Lovely restaurant beautifully decorated and service was outstanding. Food was outstanding tasted perfect fresh and no waiting. Very busy restaurant which is run to perfection hats off to all the staff would 100% recommend after a day of shopping on Oxford Street.
B. P.
Great service. Every dish that we had was really good! Fun, upbeat atmosphere. Would recommend.
A. K.
Staff were generally nice, food was generally good… notice a trend? There could be improvements to the food, but, otherwise, it’s a nice place to be if you can get a table.
B. D.
Lovely restaurant will definitely be visiting again, the staff were very kind and attentive and the food was excellent!
a. o.
We popped in for lunch while shopping with our children. What a fabulous restaurant! The food was great. The staff were friendly and personable. The drinks were strong enough to send us on a mad spending spree in Selfridges thereafter! It’s not cheap - £200 for four of us. But it is a real treat. We will definitely return.
B. W.
Scallops cooked to perfection. Arancini balls are a must order starter!
Mains were super tasty and arrived shortly after.
The main factor was the staff and particularly our waiter's attention to detail. His service was fantastic, nothing was too much to ask. Will definitely be returning again. 10/10
L. B. I.
An amazing bar/restaurant for drinks and dinner after a long shopping day of the most gorgeous couture brands there is. The cheesecake desert is a MUST HAVE!!!!
S. A.
Food was amazing and service was great
Overall was a great experience
Thank you so much
J. T.
Stunning setting, amazing food and cocktails. Loved it here and somethingon the menu for everyone. Everything is bright and sparkly too.
A. L.
Absolutely loved our dinner experience here! The food, atmosphere and service was excellent all round and it was such a treat to come here for our anniversary. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later (especially for the wild mushroom and truffle rice bowl and the popcorn shrimp!!)
S. S.
This crab was AMAZING! Lovely place and ambience, very helpful staff. This place is very busy so will always need to book I’m advance
M. F.
Amazing service and interior! Very tasty dishes as well. I will come back there again.
K. G.
Fabulous!!! Lovely staff, excellent food at reasonable prices. We went for breakfast and will definitely return again!
J. J.
We had a 30 minute wait to get a seat. The food was freshly prepared and was nice. The waiter was exceptional in his service.
The apple dessert was delicious!!
C. M.
Went for a spot of brunch with a friend on Saturday, thought we'd go someone a little more high class. Visual, it looks incredible, very suave. We both ordered a poached and egg avocado on toast, he had a coffee and I started the day right with a cocktail.
To be honest the food and coffee we very meh. They were fine, but nothing to write home about and nothing compared to the grandeur of the setting. The avocado was clearly fresh from the fridge i.e. very cold, which in turn just made the eggs cold as well. The meal itself was also quite underseasoned.
The cocktail however was a saving grace for me, it was a very tasty and unusual combo of pineapple, cacao and campari
S. D.
Excellent food and excellent service in a stunning venue. My only criticism would be the physical size of the menus. They are far to big for such small tables and when visiting at night they are hard to read due to the lighting, which is ironic given the name of the venue.
P. A.
Superb food and service. The desserts in particular were out of this world. Special mention to Suzy, who is one of the best hostesses we've ever had the privilege of encountering. She was so on point it was ridiculous and the fantastic service she afforded us was the cherry on top of a great family meal. Thank you, Suzy.
M. V.
Its easy to forget you are just a few yards from the store, they really have done a great job with this place although I still wish they had gone through with the plans for an Eataly instead.
I sat at the bar one one occasion and a table a few days later. Food was OK< service and ambience excellent. Not rushing back but that probably on because of how spoilt for choice we are.
I. G.
Love, love, love it! Great service and delicious food. Thank you. This is what you call a great dining experience all around.
L. S.
Gorgeous place in terms of visuals and food, not so great noise wise esp on Thurs, Fri or Sat night as the music is cranked up to such levels, it's almost impossible to have a decent conversation HOWEVER one highlight is noticing what the clientele are wearing (or in most cases, not wearing!), for pre food before a night out! Still I am assured its not like this during the day or most other nights. Can't wait to go back!
K. G.
Visually a lovely restaurant however service poor and food cold! We went for Sunday breakfast which we were so looking forward to however slightly underwhelmed by the food and service. We sat for over 15 minutes before our order was taken! Drinks arrived promptly However pot of tea did not arrive we had to ask for this once the food arrived and when we got it the tea was cold!! Food was served 45 minutes after we sat down! Full English breakfast presented very nice, however the plate was cold and the food was luke warm, beans were stone cold! Toast was cold and soggy! Presentation made us think wow but cold food is not appealing! Definitely not expected from somewhere like Selfridges. Paying the bill was also bad, the bill was slapped on the table and then nobody came back for payment! We could actually have walked out as nobody seemed interested in receiving our payment! We had to approach the cash desk ourselves to make payment! 12% service charge already added to bill, is this possibly why the staff don’t go the extra mile for customers because they already know they are tipped!! This will be a non return for me I’m afraid!! Selfridges need to up their game!
L. M.
Food was amazing. Staff was on point and attentative. It was a beautiful experience. Highly recommended.
E. M.
Nice restaurant, delicious food and will definitely visit again.
A. M.
Mostly incredible :) The Brasserie of light is a great venue for a pleasant lunch with friends. Vibrant light atmosphere. And the staff are thoughtful. We had an excellent Russian waiter and a polite English woman as well serve us wonderfully. The duck curry main and orbit desserts were highlights and recommended. Also some nice french cider was on the menu. You'll need more than one.
M. M.
Such a lovely experience to dine here! Mock tails were delicious as well as all the food. Dessert was especially beautiful.
J. p.
This was an accidental experience. But- the Art Deco decor, walking though Selfridges, the food & service made the experience truly amazing. We had - vegan linguini, chicken Milanese and a prawn curry dish. All were awesome (lots of clean plates) & the service was wonderful. Loved our waiter. In our 10 day experience- this was a highlight meal
M.
We had an amazing experience at Brasserie of Light, the venue is beautiful and the Popcorn Shrimp / Tuna Tacos / cocktails were sublime - highly recommend. Jerry gave incredible service, and is one of the nicest waiters I have come across. A+++
J. K.
The Brasserie of Light has to be up there in the top 10 eateries of Mayfair. Lost count how many times I have been. The service is as exemplary as is the standard of food, let alone the choice on offer. Have to mention the whole design and layout is so natural due to enormous windows, which i dont think any other restaurant can boast. Very few places can you see the clientele not look around when someone walks in (The Ivy mainly) because that indicates the type of person there. They are dressed smartly and the whole place is relaxed with a pleasent vibe.
Z. A.
Such a elegant restaurant. I had English breakfast and was soooooo yummy and the egg was perfection and there dessert and coffee are amazing. Excellent service. Highly recommend
I. J.
Visited after a very long time, last time was pre-covid. Still super friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They have installed screens in between the tables and along the bar, and all the staff were wearing masks. We didn’t have reservations but they still managed to accommodate us, even though it was for just over an hour and it was a little rushed, but that was our choice. I actually think they have improved their menu since my last visit. Previously, I found some of the food bland and boring but on this occasion I really enjoyed everything we ordered. I may be misremembering but I feel they have some new additions on the menu - the bang bang prawns were really lovely, as was the Saffron Risotto.
Great for relaxed lunch or dinner, friendly service, good food, relaxed atmosphere. And, it has a very cool decor, with the huge crystal Pegasus and Instagramable pink marble WC!!
M. N.
We first visited the Brasserie of Light on its opening weekend back in 2018. This was probably our 10th visit and we never tire of it. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. It was great to return again after the lockdown. Happy days!!
L. G.
Had such a great time.
Lovely place, atmosphere.
Ordered some starters, drinks and desserts which were phenomenal.
Will definitely revisit.
M. W.
Was my wife’s birthday and Serena made sure we had a memorable evening. She was awesome, brought my wife a little cake and made the evening one to remember.
E.
From food to service to deserts to ambience, Brasserie of Light is definitely my new go-to restaurant. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food is absolutely astonishing and very reasonably priced. The truffle mash is the best I have ever tasted and the deserts are so incredibly made that they taste and look like paradise. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated, even the bathrooms are picture perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone you will love it.
A. S.
Visited Selfridges on a Sunday afternoon very busy had to wait a short while to get a drink.
N. S.
Had a great experience and the service and ambience were fabulous.
Enjoyed all the food and the drinks we're strong but delicious
I'll definitely be back again soon.
N. P.
Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, lovely food
S. G.
Yesterday I had the chance to try the breakfast menu at Brasserie of Light, which consists of several egg dish options - I personally enjoyed their truffle scrambled eggs with toasted brioche. Also, I was quite lucky to be seated at a table by the window which contributed to my overall experience; as the view was beautiful especially during the early morning 🤩
R. F.
As I was supposed to have a long awaited back operation and it was cancelled I took myself off to Selfridges for a pamper day…. Booked last minute in restaurant and had a wonder meal with my friend. Was looked after by the attentive Agnus who was attentive, friendly, professional and charming. Front of house by the mens departmwnt was charming and ended my rather sad day on a very high note. Food was enjoyable and accommodated to all my requests…. Thanks Agnus for serving us.
A. S. U.
The food was good, the service excellent! Been such a while since I have eaten at a restaurant without feeling they want you out. Will most definitely return
A. K. (.
Delish good, good service, beaut decor!
d. y.
Excellent. Great atmosphere. Service top class.
A. S.
Absolutely fantastic food. They seem to specialise in all courses. Starter's, main's and desserts all so good. Giving 4 star's and not 5 because I have a problem with the seating arrangements. Almost sitting on each others tables, especially if you sit on the 2 seat tables and your right in the middle.
B. A. N.
Lovely service and great midday vibes, best way to spend a midweek afternoon. Go for the black cod and the saffron risotto.
M. P.
Beautiful place and delicious food. Prices are of course are high as you would expect.
O. M.
Beautiful decor, great food and a lovely ambiance. Came here for brunch and would definitely recommend. Ordered the vegetarian breakfast - yummy, big portion and good value. Would recommend getting there before 11 on the weekends as the breakfast menu stops at 11 and has better options than the brunch menu in my opinion. Altogether a great experience!
T. C.
Excellent place to go to whilst having a break from shopping. Great food & Staff.
F. G.
I've been eating out in London for half a century so I'm not easily impressed but the food quality, taste and presentation here were amazing with very reasonable value for money for what we experienced. This could easily be a stand alone restaurant. Ignore the fact that it is located in Selfridges, its nothing like your typical store set up. The service was equally outstanding and there is a great choice of high quality Prosecco options, most of which were new to me. The black labelled Ferrari option went down very well! This is not a cheap option. Our meal for two came to £170 but included 2 deserts and 2 coffees. Highly recommended. I genuinely can't wait to go again.
V.
I was really worried about going to this place based on the reviews of the awful service but honestly, I had NO issues at all and I was wearing trackpants. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We originally came for just dessert but ended up grabbing a snack as well. The Yuzu lemonade was exceptionally tasty. The scallops were perfectly done but there was too much red pepper puree. The crab was really delicious and wellmade.
As for dessert: oh my god. SO GOOD! the presentation was absolutely beautiful and the taste spot on. We got the butterfly passionfruit and the chocolate space one. We couldn't even finish it even though we really wanted to.
Beautiful ambience and decor, pleasant attentive service, and great food. Couldn't ask for more and I'm glad I gave it a chance despite the reviews.
M. S.
Favorite restuarant of all time! Stunning interiors (don’t miss the powder room with it’s all pink onyx!), wonderful staff, delicious food! Wish we had one of these in the states!!!! A must-see when in London! Can’t hype this place up enough!!!! Brilliant!
Z. G.
I have eaten here twice for dinner service and visited the bar many times. The staff are a true delight, friendly and welcoming. The food is immaculate. The golden apple dessert is an absolute must!
S. K.
Great drinks, awesome food, brilliant location, nice ambience, a great experience overall
I'd highly recommend.
My personal recommendation is to have (Wild Mushroom, Truffle, Broccoli) and (Chicken Milanese)
S. g.
Amazing place to chill with your friend, family or partner.. amazing staff, drink, sweets and food .. the atmosphere is amazing .. I highly recommend it for everyone.. One of my favourite places to enjoy some of ‘myself’ treatment time .. I love their service and amazing staff.. My favourites are the fish pie, the lobster and the truffle risotto..
R.
Bling bling comes to mind to describe the place, which goes well with the light theme.
There’s a very impressive crystal of some sort Pegasus overlooking the restaurant.
We went for afternoon tea and were not disappointed.
We ordered the pegasus and the traditional one.
I didn’t care for the sandwiches in the traditional one, especially the cucumber one who tasted watery (best description I could come up with). The 2 others were decent but that’s it.
The sweets were good though especially the scones for which I’ll definitely go back.
The Pegasus one has an incredible wow factor as it s served on a smoking tray.
The meringue and passion fruit pavlova is excellent and so is the salted caramel chocolate mousse.
The lobster and mango were excellent too.
All in all a great experience But the scones were my favorite part!
f. a.
Fantastic decor, excellent food, great selection and presentation. The waiters made the dining experience more enjoyable and had a great eye for detail.
E. M.
Nice atmosphere for brunch, not extremely expensive. Coffee was expensive
Eggs Benedict 8.5 , eggs royal 8.5 and 2 cappuccinos, altogether £38
Most customers were posh/ smart dressed.
Tasty food but nothing extraordinary.
M. K.
Didn’t know what the mood was going to be like, and so I was relieved and pleasantly surprised to see it lively with good crowd and a funky dj. Food was excellent and really good value for money. Stand out dish for me was the Tuna carpaccio. It was excellent. It was a date night, and I would definitely go again.
L. M.
Where can I begin,I visited yesterday evening at 8pm the service and food was absolutely amazing. 10/10. The waiter we had Georgia knew the menu inside and out and helped us pick out great meal , dessert and tea she provided exceptional service and I will definitely be there again. It is also worth the price as well. All the staff were really friendly and the experience and decor is absolutely breathe taking. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be visiting again next week.
w. “.
I've been here a few times, now, and the food is always delicious, with exceptional presentation. The puddings are seriously next level. The service is faultless. My only niggle is that they use tea bags instead of loose leaf.
S. A.
Warm atmosphere (Friday DJ night) and food was excellent.
M. M.
Amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. Their homade lemonade and chocolate bubbles dessert is to die for! The bartender that served us was very kind and welcoming too. 100% recommend, even if its just for a drink or dessert :)
N. A.
Amazing place for delicious and contemporary food with a chic ambiance. An up class bar serving fantastic cocktails and drinks. A must visit place for breakfast and dinner.
Y. A.
The Brasserie itself is beautiful, such a pretty space- even the bathrooms were interesting. However the space could be considered very loud as it echoes and is always packed.
The food, which is not on the cheaper side, was average at best. Nothing remarkable and quite bland.
I ordered a simple fillet steak asking for it to be medium, it came so overcooked it was almost the texture of chewing gum. All of this was on top of 40 minutes spent between entrees and main courses.
They brought me a medium cooked steak 15 min later that was still overcooked and also tasted as if it had been reheated quickly.
The service was decent.
Wouldnt come back for the food.
J. M.
Lovely evening..gorgeous meal and great music..feeling special "out out"
S. W.
Excellent staff, very friendly. Terrible music choice, it’s noise really and food is bland.
Venue is beautiful.
A. O.
A beautiful bar and restaurant covered in mirrors (walls, tables) and crystals topped with a colossal flying horse. The food was rather middling (our salads were nothing to write home about) with a reasonable selection and somewhat surprisingly reasonably priced (considering the ‘blingy’ nature of the bar) cocktails.
T. K.
Great service and food! Excellent choice for an early lunch!
A. L.
Great atmosphere. Food was great and so was our server. Thank you for giving us a memorable night :)
P. D.
Very lovely interior design. Food was amazing too. I ordered the rib-eye steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection with good seasoning.
J. S.
Cannot recommend the Brasserie of Light highly enough, The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every dish that came to our table. The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. Beautiful venue with stunning interior. We wanted to come here for a long time and we were not disappointed. We will be back very soon.
K. M.
I loved this place so much
went for breakfast and the service was amazing. Amazing place for instagramable pics! The food was a great price and tasted amazing! will definitely be back again
C. T.
Having not been in Selfridges for over 10 years it was a delightful surprises to find a lovely place as this venue. Service, atmosphere and food a delight. We had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, delicious. Can't wait until we are able to pay a return visit.
F. G.
It is a great experience in all possible ways. Food is not only insanely good, presentation will make you want to be an Instagram food reviewer, and drinks have just the right balance between experimental and traditional. This is a must go.
R. B.
Great dining experience for a reasonable price. The many offers quite some tasty options and the cocktail menu is satisfying. The insane pegasus and the view over the street and bars give the place something special.
P.
Came here yesterday for afternoon tea which was great , the food was really good and it was also very well presented. the aesthetics of the bar are also amazing so I would really recommend the brasserie of light for brunch however.. I have only given 4 starts because the service was really poor they seamed to have lots of staff rushing about but you could barley get anyone's attention we waited20 minuets before we could get any6one to take our order and then another 10 minuets just trying to call someone over so we could get a spoon to actually eat the food.
J. L. G.
Very recommendable place at good price.
One of very few places in London that it is fancy, yet affordable and with great quality food.
We had the mushroom Arancini truffle balls, the tuna tacos, the chicken milanesa and the Apple cake. All of them excellent
Will repeat for sure!
Great service as well.
M. L.
Went for lunch here. Fabulous, settings and good music but when our food arrives, my partner plate had a hair in her main. The waiter was very apologetics and exchange the plate for another. They didn't offer a free drink but they just apologise.
K. B.
Came here for my boyfriends birthday and the staff treated us so well. The food was so amazing too!!
S. L.
Great place for breakfast, it’s a relatively quiet spot midweek which I liked.
The interiors are obviously amazing, you can’t not take a photo of the giant Pegasus on the ceiling and everywhere is mirrored even the bathrooms.
S. D.
The decor is wonderful, great service and lots of tempting food. Great cocktails too.
M. A.
Amazing atmosphere and lovely food. The staff is very pleasant
J. E.
My favourite place for Brunch - always excellent. Thank you.
S. E.
A significant birthday celebration, we had a lovely time at this restaurant The food, the atmosphere and decor were fantastic and I truly felt spoilt. The food came quickly, but we felt rushed, it wasn’t the relaxing experience we had hoped for, mixing up our bill with someone else’s also made it feel a little like being in a canteen environment. Having said that, we would return.
O.
Absolutely love this Brasserie. The staff are amazing, service is spot on and the food is delicious. Highly recommend it.
J. S.
Nice setting and perfect for a spot of lunch before shopping at Selfridges.
A. J.
Lovely setting, but I won't call it a Brasserie, more like a sports Bar the loud music was horrible, couldn't hear what the waiter was saying or my partner..its the nearest place some of the elderly people would be in a sports Bar.
I read recently this the new trend in hip restaurants, to have a quick turn around on tables..won't be going back.
C. S.
Went there for the lunch: it was very crowded and noisy - but this is expected for this kind of restaurant/bar.
We were a little disappointed by the service: waiter standing in the middle, preventing us to access to our seats, the glasses for the water were hot, ... And knowing the bill is not cheap, the service has to be improved.
Regarding the food and drinks, I will definitively go back there for the desserts and for the cocktails: they serve a very good chocolate cake (with Valrona chocolate), but their best dessert is the golden apple pie: all tastes are very well balanced, and it was a real pleasure!!! The only cocktail tested was very good, with orange vodka, espresso and chocolate.
G. S.
Very elegant bar inside Selfriges London where you can have nice drinks and food. I would recommend if you are looking for a sophisticated break from walking around the shop.
K. L.
Nice drinks choice and presentable dishes. However, lamb was quite oily and broccoli was a bit bland.
A. M.
We enjoyed our mid week lunch. The service was good and the food was ok. Great setting.
D. M.
Unfortunately the steak, although lovely, came on its own. No chips, no veg nothing. Everything else was perfect apart from this
J. A.
That Bang Bang Chicken Salad was superb. And don't get me started on the Eggs Benedict and Fries! Washed down with a fabulous Grapefruit G&T
A. M.
Starters and mains were amazing! Very tasty and well portioned. I would suggest getting loads of starters as you get to taste a bit of everything
M. H.
A destination indeed. Make a reservation and go. Only down side rather squashed tables so unlike the tube get ready to know your neighbours! Incredibly decor and good music. 👌🏼
P. W.
We came here for dinner, everything is good. Decoration is nice. A place to come back again, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, dinner.
D. C.
Super lunch. Great table service. If you like cocktails then try the Margarita!
S.
Alright-ish. Service slow and confused. Staff struggle a bit with English. Food demonstrated skill but in a limited measure.
The toilets are good 😮😂
A. M. B.
Great restaurant, social media content creators would love it here!.
Food tastes really good, portion sizes are a good fit for the price.
On my visit our host did forget some of our order which ment mains and sides didn't come out together. This was however immediately correct with a warm apology and smile.
Tables are quite close together, which left no space to pit your bags after shopping.
V. V.
Had a special lunch here with friends. Wonderful setting with lots of light, space and art deco touches as well as the enormous horse sculpture. Sole goujons and fries were beautifully cooked. Very noisy with lots of people chatting so be aware this is not the place for a quiet meal.
D. F. P.
Excellent, well worth a visit the staff are very helpful nothing was to much trouble ,food was amazing and tasty great price
L.
The 4 of us came here on a Saturday lunchtime. We originally came for the famous afternoon tea but didn’t realise they only served this between 3-5 so had the normal menu.
The place is beautiful, so bright and airy with tables and booths nicely spaced out. The decor is quite spectacular but not overwhelming.
The staff were very professional and wouldn’t have been out of place in a fine dining restaurant.
Given the afternoon tea was £35, I thought the main menu would have been really expensive but it was actually ok. They also have things like a burger & fries for £15.50 and small plates ranging between £6.95 - £13.95. The more pricy dishes are the steak and lobster spaghetti.
I had the Sole Goujons with Minted Peas and Fries (£16.99) - it was a bit bland to be honest. Had it not been for the lemon and tartar sauce, the fish would have been completely tasteless. The fries were ok. I think the decor and atmosphere made up for it though so I’m not complaining.
Overall it was a really lovely lunch and we had a great time. I would probably come back for drinks and nibbles and enjoy the beautiful room again.
S. E.
My goodness... The food was heavenly... Everything from starter to dessert... Five stars... Service was excellent!!!
K. M.
Wonderful restaurant, amazing food and impeccable service. Five star all the way.
H. A.
Very impressed with with the food. We ordered the linguine and the roast lamb. The lamb was cooked to perfection! Stunning decor and friendly staff
A. F.
Beautiful decor and well presented food. Overall a nice experience.
V.
We went there in the morning so it's not that busy. Breakfast tastes good.
Food in reasonable price.
B. M.
It is nicely located inside Selfridges . Decoration and architecturally are incredibly nice . Food is a bit overpriced and service is average ( a bit slow) .
D. A.
Beautiful place and great atmosphere. The food is delish!! Very friendly staff as well.✨
S. R.
A bit tricky to find as not signposted that well but a lovely & bright space with pretty lighting & decor. Varied menu & friendly staff. Cool desserts & presentation, too! Not the best for gluten & dairy free diners. Would definitely return.
D. L.
Effortlessly stands up to its name as the place is airy and fluid.
Despite the bar being equipped with semi-automatic coffee machines the guys know what they are doing and the blend is powerful but aromatic. Strong dry cappuccino does come strong and dry, which is not a given in many equally illuminated London locations.
The service is classy but not an overkill and just a little bit quirky, which is refreshing.
Personal thanks to Giacomo for recommending the duck roll - it's truly excellent!
P. 9.
Great location, food and service. I booked a table here and got seated right away even though I arrived early.
M. O. S. !.
Staff pleasant food OK but the restaurant itself is stunning.
J. M. (.
Great little find, went back far to many times. Grab a drink at the bar & enjoy the atmosphere
D. A.
Such a beautiful place, food is good and decently priced. Service is good too. Ooh and my friends and I could hear ourselves talk without the need of shouting across the table.
K.
Booked for Sunday lunch time slot, as table wasn’t ready we were shown to the bar. Bar staff were great, typical me spilt my gin and tonic all over me and staff were more than happy to help clear up and get extra tissues! We had a table opposite the bar, covid safe with the plastic partition in between each table. Good food, a shame wasn’t able to get a table on the other side where Pegasus, women’s toilet super cute and totes Instagram worthy!
R. C.
Fabulous service and wonderful food in a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended
H. L.
Actually much better prices than I anticipated for its location. Good food, insane interiors, and decent cocktails too.
M. G.
The food was amazing , can't wait to go back 😍🙏
T. W.
Good food and coffee at reasoable prices for central London and beautiful decor. But high chairs can be off-putting for some.
S. A.
Stunning restaurant, loved the food, drinks and atmosphere 😍
L. K.
Beautifully decorated brasserie, would recommend coming for a drink (elderflower G&T was great) after shopping at Selfridges or for a quick coffee to enjoy the atmosphere. Food quality is below average though - we tried burrata and steak tartare - flavours are ok, but as a whole, I would have expected more - it is a shame as this place has a lot more potential than just instagram photo opportunities. Service was friendly and quite efficient but the staff is very young and you can tell they lack confidence, knowledge and experience.
A. K.
Good choice of food, nice atmosphere they do halal food do. Price is not bad.
A.
Very fancy, nice drinks and good food; good atmosphere and attentive and polite servers - but a bit overpriced for what you get
B. R.
Quite a magical experience. The food is delightful and the dessert was “out of this world” ... you’ll understand the terrible pun if you see the image. More reasonable than I was expecting price-wise. The popcorn shrimp was to die for (ordered a second portion mid-meal).
b. o.
Perfect place to be 💯❤. The ambience was beautiful. Hope to dine next time there!. I will go there again xxx
A. T.
The food was delicious. I had aromatic duck curry with jasmine rice & dessert island. The service was very good.
I. T.
Looks nice! Average food. The servers are polite. Worth a visit for the experience, probably wouldn't go again.
J. W.
Fantastic restaurant, wonderful and helpful staff. Loved the food, try the Chinese red wine!
S. V.
Amazing meal experience. Fantastic food and excellent service with beautiful surroundings.
A. O.
Great service nice food selection, amazing venue.
N. M.
I love this place, the food is great. Beautiful. I go as often as I can.
B.
Enjoyed our drinks here, really nice atmosphere
E. T.
Beautiful place, designed so well. I've been before for drinks and it's fab. I visited at the weekend for dinner and I have to say the food was average and over priced for what it was. You have to order sides with most things annoyingly.
I don't mind paying for good quality food but I just felt we were paying to be there more than the actual food it's self. It's full of people taking photos for Instagram and posing which is really annoying, especially in the toilets!
I'd go again for a drink but not for food.
Staff were friendly and service was very good!
M. A.
Terrace was lovely, food was amazing and decor was beautiful
K. M.
Amazing service amazing staff and what a beautiful ambience would highly recommend if tour visiting London but book in advance
L. G.
Beautiful cafe with lovely menu. Food is well presented and doesn't leave you wanting.
Service is good. My only niggle is a slightly limited menu, perhaps as a cafe only. But otherwise lovely
K. H.
Beautiful restaurant. Gorgeous decor. Delicious brunch. Great service.
M. R. S.
Breakfast great quality. Great service and friendly staff. Damien Hisrt Pegasus is stunning.
V. H.
Super location. Lively and buzzy vibrant. Slick service and the food was delicious
T. C.
It was a beautiful experience for my birthday. Was a bit busy... maybe because of the bank holiday. My meal was great, drink was tasty.. customer service very friendly👍
G. O.
Lovely view and the staff were super friendly. Food was a lot bigger then I expected and good cocktails selection. If you want to go some where nice but won't hurt the pockets then this is your place.
T.
A lovely experience, so classy and romantic for our anniversary.
The service and good were great!
M. A.
An amazing dining experience nestled in Selfridges first floor. Nice vibes and great staff and service.
A. K.
banish mattnes! brace for brilliance! gladdened by the glitsch, and for the love of light, sadly bored by the cream tea and amateur serving. fun.
O.
Really nice atmosphere and staff very helpful. Food was well presented and very tasty.
J. B.
Absolutely wonderful food and great service
D. S.
Food was lovely. Service was friendly and abundant but not very slick, no poring of drinks clearing the table etc. Just let the experience down slightly.
M. 9.
A restaurant that’s become a tradition when we visit London! Our third visit here and just can not fault the staff so welcoming, food was quick warm and fresh a all round fantastic experience can’t wait for my next visit!
B. W.
Beautiful decor. Great location for the hubby to have a few drinks while I shop. 4 stars as the food is good, not great. But hey, you're coming here for the location not especially for the food. Still pay it a visit every time we're at Selfridges.
G.
Nice decor. Food very average. Meat was not tender, rather chewy and stringy.
Service was a disappointment. Ladies at the reception seems bored and are not welcoming whatsoever. Our waitress, when asked for her name, for some reason just left us and hand us over to male waiter! None of them during whole meal bother to even once ask if everything is ok.
Lastly, the crowd. It looks like it attracts some rather sort of tacky people. Some groups of young Instagram influencers? constantly shouting loud like they were in a nightclub and floor staff doesn't do anything about it.
All in all good place if you like something tacky, glittery and shiny on the surface.
J. M.
I loved this place, I will for sure be back.
I. S.
Great restaurant, lovely staff, delicious food and immaculate interiors, definitely worth the visit
a. s.
Great place for brunch. Had a nice family brunch with my loved ones. Need to book in advance as might get busy.
T. S.
We had a lovely meal prior to lockdown. The service is very attentive and the atmosphere is perfect for a Saturday night. Whilst it is a little pricey, it is worth it the food is delicious and offers something for everyone. Would recommend as a special occasion.
M. M.
I had a vegetarian Wild Mushroom, truffle, broccoli and … it was so tasty and nice.
Very beautiful and delicious.
It is a nice bar restaurant
J. L.
Excellent food and atmosphere here. The service is very good too.
N. S.
My favourite place. The staff is tuned and well informed of the menu and drinks menu.
D. P.
Excellent bar, excellent food and fabulous service
N. C.
Amazing food and ambience and first class attentive service. Highly recommend the Popcorn Shrimp, it was fantastic!
g. s.
Excellent resturant, really buzzy, friendly staff and reasonable prices for a West end resturant.
I can recommend the Brasserie of light.
S. S.
Hostess was rude and instantly felt like they judge you if you're high calibre enough for their establishment. Drinks were okay but pricey. Nice atmosphere and ambiance.
J. R.
Nice food and ambience. Music provided by DJ perhaps a tad too loud for our liking but only a minor issue. Overall a great dining experience.
G. B.
Good buzzy atmosphere, nice food, but the service was a little hurried and at times unhelpful. Will definitely go back as this was fairly isolated to an individual, but next time I would say something at the time of it happening as it was uncomfortable.
Highly recommend the tuna tacos, iberoco pork and lobster spaghetti!
H. S.
Very good experience, must have are the truffle mushrooms and cocktails.
S.
Shrimp starter was very good, burger was average tbh could be better. The orbit dessert was the highlight of my meal, would highly recommend it giving this dessert a try.
M. C.
Good and interesting food. The service was a bit let down..shame !
M. K.
Wonderful restaurant, great service, great food. Price is not the greatest but it's worth the treat.
S. T.
Service is second to none, food is amazing highly recommend!
A. N.
Lovely place, staff and atmosphere. Stayed for just drinks at the bar to celebrate our anniversary. Top notch!!
A. W.
Can't fault this place at all. Great cocktails and food. On top of the remarkable service, despite the fact that the restaurant was incredibly busy at our time of visit
S. Z.
Amazing place, tasty brunch. Super recommended.
s. f.
Fantastic breakfast, fantastic service and one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve had. Would definitely recommend for a special breakfast.
m. b.
Opulent Design in the heart of the selfridge store.Expect the staff be dressed as fine as clientele in this brasserie. Food is good, could be matched to the opulence though.
M. A.
Stunning place ! Amazing service on all accounts 💯
Would definitely return ❤
M. K.
Beautiful venue. Ecclectic food menu. The Croque was a winning dish
M. M.
The place is absolutely insane! It's really luxurious and it has some Gatsby vibes. I love it! Plus the gigantic Pegasus is really impressive to see and it's nice cuz they have mirror table so we can admire the Pegasus easily if we're under. We went for a Pegasus afternoon tea in fact and we really appreciated it! It was just a bit disappointed that the waiter took long to bring our "tray"... There was smoke (do not worry this supposed to be here) but it only last for few seconds so the waiter has to be quick to find our table and it wasn't the case. But it's okay! It was really fascinating to see and really the food was delicious! It was a bit light for an afternoon tea but it's much more a gastronomic instead of a traditional one. I definitely recommend if you want to surprise someone because it was amazing!
m. s.
Meal was ammmmaazing. I had fun with the starters. Customer service was great
M. K.
Amazing food and atmosphere at a phenomenal price. Service was top notch. Would return again.
R. B.
Love this place. A little on the pricey side but great for just a drink or food whether quiet or busy. Bar staff usually knowledgeable - try their white negroni. Can get loud if very busy and service suffers a bit but worth it.
S. A.
I loved the decor, the cocktails, the food, the service, everything was perfect. It felt very safe taking in to account the current pandemic, with screens dividing the seating areas, in fact I feel they add a degree of privacy. I will be back soon...
R. W.
Great vibes and music while you eat. Food was average, though I would recommend the truffle mash. You'll get some great photos in there!
A. B.
Delicious food, lovely environment and great service from staff.
D.
Great brasserie in selfridges affordable beautifully presented food
M. R.
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food and wine
A. k.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend 👌
V. G.
Great place every time
A. H.
Huge potential let down by the maître d' and cloakroom attendants. Really impressive location, the food and setting was simply stunning. What really disappointed me was that for all the money and all the investment in the main room and the kitchen they went cheap on the staff. You are met by people who can barely speak English and also are to be frank rude and not very accommodating. The young girls who take your coats and bags certainly look the part but I would be amazed if any of them had an IQ of greater that 70. They lost the bags, they lost our coats, they didn't know who to ask.... it was embarrassing for a restaurant of this level with these prices. The welcome was poor, at the table the waiting staff were excellent and then we had to suffer the front staff again upon leaving. Shame as it really tainted our experience.
N. T.
Very nice decor, the food was really tasty and the presentation was amazing.
What I didn't like was service. Quite rude (when we asked that there were no onions in the food and then asked to make a note of that the waiter was visibly annoyed), throwing cutlery on the table in the middle of each setting, forgetting to bring dessert menus for ages when we only had the table for a fixed time.
It would be ok in a cheaper place, but when you're paying quite a lot of money, you expect better service. We even asked to take service charge out (I've only ever done it once, so it's very unusual for me).
E. C.
Visited for dinner. Food was nice. Had a good atmosphere. Only downside was tables were quite close together.
A. R.
Lovely restaurant and great atmosphere and music. Some dishes were slightly underseasoned but overall was fantastic.
X. C.
Nice service and good food. Stunning deco
L. H.
Sat at the bar for lunch. Very nice. Staff pleasant but not well trained in pouring wine or making sure a steak comes out on a hot plate, not a cold one.
Otherwise food was tasty and good quality.
If they upped their training of staff, I would go again.
M. M.
Always good idea. Love the zucchini fritti.
M. A.
It's a nice atmosphere, just a little busy around this time. The staff are really professional and attentive and the food is delicious. Already recommended the restaurant to several of my friends. And the price is also good, it is worth it for what you get.
I had:
-Chickend Dumplings
- Flat Iron Chicken with Fries
- Orbiet
Amazing!
C. Q.
Great food, great staff, impeccable service.
K. D.
Food and cocktails were delicious! Staff were also very friendly.
It was quite noisy, so not suitable for a quite meal.
T. R.
10/10 for me. From the food to the service and ambiance of the restaurant. Firm favourite, we will be back
m. d.
Just came home from a lovely evening at this breathtaking place, food was very good, service most pleasant, and for the first time we received a warm and friendly welcome. We have been to many different
Ivy Brasseries and the food is always nice, but the greetings at the receptions we always felt was mostly arrogant and rude. This was a delight. We will be back soon if not sooner. Thank you.
P. E.
We did a walk-in and was accompanied to the bar. Nice service friendly bar man nice ambience. Food was okay.
D. T.
For me, was a great experience and one of the best time in one of the most spectacular place in London. I been in a different place owned from the same company ivy collection and I can say this in one of the most spectacular and peculiar. The Pegasus is very impressive and definitely is attracting you to take some pictures with it in a background. The food was delicious, I had a great starter with an amazing smoked tomatoes and burratina, then I had a nice fillet where I could feel the explosion of taste in my mouth with some broccoli where they were the only dishes which disappointed me a bit when you compare all the rest of the super taste food you have. Then after all, we order an amazing cheesecake, with strawberry and white chocolate, I would say was one of the best dessert I tried in London. Thank you all guys was a really great time. Really recommend. Just a small thing, the table are very small and very close each other but for me and my girlfriend was a nice time to share some world with other people next to us and have a good laugh. Friday and Saturday they have a DJ so make sure you want a noisy place for the weekend otherwise go somewhere else.
R. H.
Good food, good service, great ambiance.
L. M.
Great food but music ridiculously loud for a restaurant - impossible to hear each other across the table
E. M.
A dear hole but plush as plush can be if you like that sort of thing

My favourite restaurant in Selfridges Oxford street.
I always have a fabulous experience when I visit. The food is delicious.
D. B.
Imagine finding a classy but not uptight restaurant with the friendliest staff that look like they're part of a clasical movie....and you're the star! That restaurant is in a store that sells all the famous brands in the world; Selfiridges!
Most people have to go hunt a fast food outlet to replace all the energy spent while shopping these endless square feet...no need as Selfiridges has brought it to you.
No, not over greased burgers and soggy fries! Everything here is palatable just from the name and description on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed pur lunch and did not want to leave our coveted bar spot. 2 young ladies having a fabulous day, making memories on Oxford street! You should try it!
B. F.
Just short of 5 stars.
Made a reservation and came slightly early and the hosts were able to accommodate us at the bar until our table was ready. For a truly memorable lunch or afternoon tea, this definitely ticked every box. The only downside was the bartenders and wait staff had a bit of a language barrier with perfectly English speaking patrons. When we described something we saw come out of the kitchen, they weren't able to understand the dish as described. The menu is also vague as to what is exactly in the meal as the ricotta salad was deep fried and not listed as gluten free. The orders were rectified but the staff didn't seem very happy with the mix-up. Don't let that deter toy from eating here - it's on the must visit list if traveling to London!
T. H.
Lovely food and ambience (wish music was lower and classical music to actually go with the exquisite ambience). Only giving 3stars because the partially bald middle aged guy with a greyish-blue suit was extremely rude. We had booked a table specifically stating we would be coming for coffee & dessert which they said is fine on the phone but when he just got us the dessert and drink menue he was really rude saying we shouldn't be booking tables we could just sit at the bar. We said we'd mentioned it on the phone but he spoke over us and was dismissive. Another young one kept coming over looking annoyed even though we said give us some time to look we will let you know. There was more but I think you get the picture. Please train your staff to be a bit more polite and speak with respect. Not sure I would want to return or recommend a place where the service staff are so rude.
S. P.
AMAZING VENUE & AMAZING STAFF!!! Was greeted by young man named Safe at the reception who was very accommodating as it was my birthday! who later showed us a fabulous table under the Pegasus we had a great experience and good food.
B. A.
My boyfriend took me here for valentines day. The room is breathtaking. The Chicken Milanese to die for. Service could be quicker we did wait 25 mins for our coconut and passion fruit cream cake, none the less exceptional. Worth the wait!!
f. s.
Beautiful setting, friendly staff and great vegan options
F. R.
Amazing food! Amazing service! I went here after Christmas shopping with my mum and grandma. It was the perfect end to the day. I would highly recommend to anyone considering booking here, and will definitely be visiting again! 🥂
J. B.
Really superb!
This is now my favourite place!
Amazing food, wonderful cocktails!
I've booked for 2 weeks time!!
L. B.
Great atmosphere and an amazing variety of super tasty food and drink. Brilliant service as well. I recommend the avocado and seasame chicken to start and the blackened cod for main. Reasonably priced as well given its location.
S. P.
I’ve been to many brunch places around London and without any doubt this place serves the best vegetarian full English breakfast. The only problem is: for an average size stomach(!) it is too much. Beware large portions. You have to bring your SUNGLASSES if you book a table in a sunny day. It is a must.
M. D.
Very noisy but lovely food and staff
C. P.
Came here for the first time. The place is absolutely amazing. The service and food are no less. The personal is very polite, and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to eat somewhere in London.
J. C.
Aesthetically stunning and stylish. A fun place to eat with a menu to suit everyone. Food was delicious. However, if the tables were any closer together there would be a danger of putting your fork into someone else's plate! Not for intimate conversation!!
D. H.
WOW. Absolutely amazing. You HAVE to go here. Simply incredible.
J. S.
Fast service and excellent food at a reasonable price for the quality. Decor and furnishings are beautiful
D.
Great art deco style restaurant bar on the side of Selfridges. Would advise to book in advance as it fills up fast. Giant sparkling pegasus by Damian Hurst flies over your head. Excellent staff and superb food. Well presented and some very quirky desserts. Go in there for a quick drink at the bar or a meal. Worth every penny.
B. L.
Fantastic meal for my birthday. Service very good.

Amazing food, amazing decor, amazing experience- definitely worth visiting!!!!!!!
k. W.
One of the best place to go in central london for a treat. Not too expensive but a great environment with delicious food. Always love having lunch here, would recommend you book in advance
a. l.
Food was great, however experience was marred by an incredibly arrogant waiter. Ordered a rib eye and was brought out a fillet, upon notifying the error was almost immediately resolved and compensation was given. However the holier than thou attitude of the waiter did mark an essentially great meal.
M. D.
Lovely place, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was really good and accommodated our requests with great attention to details. Defiantly recommend it and I will surely go again!
Y. V.
The place is gorgeous. We had the afternoon tea and it was mediocre. If I went again I would just have cocktails.
M. R.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, great service! They didn't have a cocktail based on Martini bianco, but the bartender created one for us from scratch, improvised on the spot and it turned out Amazing! Definitely recommended!

Inside Selfridge store. Good thing it opens early before store

Lovely buzzy vibe, friendly attentive service, and tasty food. Tuna tacos were my favourite!

Great food, atmosphere and food! A must

Must visit!
Absolutely stunning venue with delicious food and the best service.
The desserts are pure art work!
Don’t leave without trying a signature Cocktail at the bar.
S. P.
Booking mandatory as very busy but worth it.
R. H.
We enjoyed an excellent breakfast here in sumptuous surroundings - we were seated underneath Damien Hirst's crystal pegasus - and treated like royalty. The breakfast was delicious. Oh, the bathroom is worth a visit too!
K. M.
It’s a little odd...but I like it! The reason to visit is the stunning decor and setting, although it is pretty much set in the clothing shop, the dedicated entrance is very nice. The huge piece of art watching over all diners is a sight to behold. Expect medium / high end food and service, with prices to match. I felt some of the food (Chicken Milanese and Zucini Fritti) was a little bland and basic but the simple Pea & Mint soup and Duck Curry were stunning and remarkable value. Standards of service are high and overall it was a nice treat. Overall the atmosphere they’ve created is really enjoyable. Thanks!
H. H.
Went for breakfast. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I ordered the cappuccino and a sunny side up egg. Both were less than average. Bill came out to £10.5.
P. G.
Very good service very polite and friendly staff. An enjoyable time was had.

Loverly setting great food and good friendly service

Better than the store it is in..can see the DNA of Sexy Fish etc..fine food and service but go for the sparkle and not the culinary part. Small tables get very cluttered and menus are far too large.

Excellent service, delicious food and perfect location!

Absolutely love it here. Been many a times and always look forward to going again.

This place is great, a small taste of Annabel’s at Selfridges. The food is well presented and cooked, but you definitely pay for it. The service was hit and miss but it didn’t really detract from the overall experience.

Was a bit dubious at first but the food was first class.

If you fancy treating yourself, head to this beautiful restaurant set in Selfridges. Good selection on the food menu. I'd definitely recommend the Queen of Time cocktail!

Loved the cool trendy decor and you can't miss the giant statue of Pegasus, artwork by Damien Hirst. which is a 24ft crystal encrusted statue with a 30ft wingspan!
Went for the Summer dishes starting with a light dish of Tuna Carpaccio, Citrus Ponzu Dressing and a Wasabi Mayo while my partner choose the delicious King Crab with Avocado and Watermelon.
For mains the Blackened Cod served with Charred Sprouting Broccoli with Wasabi Mayo and Truffle Wafu Dressing was delightful. My Shrimp and Avocado Burger came with Pickled Fennel and White Radish and was filling.
Service was friendly and efficient. Buzzy in place and a great lunch when in the area or shopping at Selfridges. Will be back for the breakfast dishes and the afternoon tea.

Bling bling bling. Owned / run by the group that does The Ivy and the new Harrys Bar, great place for some drinks, a quick bite, and a lot of glamour. Pink marble bathroom....yes, see it here. Great breakfast menu and **recommemded** sharp and spicy Virgin Bloody Mary (see my photo) And, if you intend move onto shopping from there, exit the rear of restaurant into menswear....super convenient!

Everything about this place was just superb. The ambience, food, and team were all simply fantastic. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Great ambience to drink/ lunch inside Selfridges on Oxford Street. Service is terrible though. Even pouring water seems to be a hard task for the bar staff. Totally disinterested staff.

Great ambience, good drinks and entrees, our risotto was boring, but the dessert was great. Service was not that good, they are quite popular and busy.

Just a lovely feel good place. Excellent food . Staff are great . Been there twice for dinner, will be trying breakfast in a couple of weeks

We stopped for a coffee... The place has nice decor and a buzzing atmosphere.. There were only side tables that seem forgotten by the stuff.. It took us a long time to be served and for the bill we had to go tk the counter..

The food was incredible from start to finish! Beautiful restaurant!! Definitely will come again.

Service is on point as always. My third time and everytime I bring a guest with me they have very good comments about the food and service. Would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful venue, good service and really good at social distancing measures. We had the dessert and cream tea which was really lovely.

Wow sitting under Damien Hirst's Pegasus and being told my a member of staff that severed us! Max was amazing telling us about pegagus! And he so deserves his cuff links to go with his Pegasus badge!@

Fantastic.
Lovely restaurant.
Great food at sensible prices.
Service is wonderful.
R. K.
It would have got a higher rating but there is no a/c so it feels like you're sitting in a sauna..and the food is hit and miss.
R. O.
Words cannot describe, you just need to visit.
P. J.
There's light and there's beautiful sitting and there's bespoke food.
Waiters could be a little bit more warm and interactive!

10/10 fantastic Old Fashioned cocktails served with a single ice block. The starters and mains are also as well thought out and tasty.👍🏿👍🏿

Great food, mediocre service

Loved the setting and the quality of food, although would have liked a better selection of non alcoholic drinks and mocktails
A. M.
Love this place, went for Saturday evening meal and drinks and was so impressed with the overall decor and service. I've always loved Selfridges and this is a great addition!!
M. B.
Excellent choice for a quick stop while shopping in the city center. 'Safe' menu (same as Ivy) with some solid options. Quick service too!
D. S.
Delicious! Especially the apple dessert!

Great addition to Selfridges and Oxford St area

Even though I booked the table well in advance, the manager let us wait for quite a while. The place and atmosphere were great otherwise.
