Reviews of BunCo London

Service was great.
Clean, and good seating.
Cost £20.70
Food left me wanting.
The butchers kebab lacked flavour and not enough meat for the thick bread, it required a chutney or garlic sauce dip.
The pulled lamb bowl, again the meat lacked flavour and seasoning, added salt and doused it with sriracha which wasn’t a complimentary accompaniment. The bulgur was dry.
Might give it another try, but wasn’t impressed.
Mango drink was surprisingly good, canned juice.

Ordered Chips with the pulled lamb bowl with bulgar rice and it was very bland. The pulled lamb was soft but didn’t have much flavour and neither did the bulgar rice. Was a filling meal but not a satisfactory one due to lack of flavour. They didn’t have any sauce options other than Siracha sauce and that didn’t go with any of the food

Tasty buns they had a really big selection

I've been walking past this place for the last few months. My only regret is that I dodn't end up going in to try it sooner. A great selection of food including some quirky unexpected items. No heat lamps here and everything is made fresh to order. Top marks.

The service is extremely slow during lunch trade. Despite having multiple staff at the counter, they are only running into each other. Really disappointed to see the chaotic kitchen.
However, the food was good.

Had the lunchtime offer, ingredients all fresh and portions suitable, only issue was seasoning, none, pulled lamb, falafal and especially the coleslaw lacked seasoning, once I added salt and pepper to coleslaw it was nice.

Went with the lunchtime off (2x Buns and Chips £6.90) and a drink, all in £8.00. So we’re not talking a cheap lunch, but at that price it’s pretty filling so not bad money all things considered.
Went with the cod bun and pulled pork. I would recommend the cod which made for an enjoyable lunch, the pulled pork was pretty tasteless to be honest, I wouldn’t call it bad, but there is probably more exciting offers on the board. The chips were pretty good I thought once seasoned.
Staff are friendly and help you choose, service is quite slow but they are making these fresh for you so allow for that.
I would recommend giving it a go.

I had a pulled lamb tabouleh which was really tasty and a reasonable portion size, although I went during lunch hour it was quiet and clean, would visit again

We went for seconds.
We tried the burger, cod, duck confit and the chicken. We had the spicy bud, squid ink bun and the green bun (basil?).
Cheap and good. The boxes were excellent as well.
I would definitely try again next time I'm in London.
Seating upstairs and there's a toilet there, too.
