Reviews of Burger & Lobster Mayfair
J. v. d. B.
We went here for the first time and it was everything we expected it to be and more! Brilliant service off the bat accompanied by great and tasty food. Had the spinach croquettes, lobster roll and burger combo and the creme brule for desert! Such friendly and speedy service from staff, just the way it should be! Thank you, we will be back!
D. D.
Great food - particularly liked the scallops and VERY well priced oysters. The cocktails were amazing as were the bartenders, Fabia and Neyla. Had an aviation with aviator gin and house cocktails. Food and service by Karola was also pleasant, personable and knowledgeable.
K. I.
I got the burger and fries with churros for desert. I'm really happy with the meal, the burger was cooked a perfect medium as requested and super juicy! Fries were cooked perfect with the right amount of salt. The orange chocolate sauce with the churros was really good as well!
Customer service was excellent, the server was really awesome and had some great stories. I walked away happy with both the service and food and hope to return!
C. F.
Fantastic eating experience at Burger and Lobster. Bruno our waiter was on point, very attentive, and made some good reccomendations. Nice location, beautiful food, price not to bad, staff awesome. Bring it on, watch out Burger & Lobster, I'll Be Back!!
C. W.
We came right after the winter wonderland nearby and it’s absolutely a right choice! The lobster was tenderly made and the burger’s so delicious. My husband and I would definitely come here again
P. M.
Really fresh fantastic lobster, we enjoyed very much. Service was outstanding.

First time @ a burger & lobster and it was an absolute pleasure. It has to be said that the level of service here really does live up to expectations & as such makes the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. The food is what you come through the door for and you won’t be disappointed whatever you order. We had the valentines set menu and from the grilled lobster, lobster roll and of course the burger it was all of a very high standard. Our waiter Fabri only added to our enjoyment as did his colleagues especially the excellent bartender who was a master of his craft!
Can’t wait to find the time to return 👌
O. F.
Great service from our waitress Daniela, the combo was perfect for sharing and taste all their mains
O. B.
Lovely place, great food and fantastic service. Visited for lunch and was welcomed with open arms and really good and very fast service. The lobster was amazing and the atmosphere very relaxed! We were served by Fabri, who was a fantastic server, very friendly and attentive and made our experience enjoyable.

Was there for a friends birthday, close proximity from the station, friendly staff, although I felt the high tables were a bit too high for the sake of the messiness involved with lobsters. Asides that portion size was decent.
Although the burger buns could be of a better quality and more effort could be made on the presentation, considering the presumed quality for the cost of the food which was a bit on the high side but I attribute that as a consequence of the area being Mayfair.
J. G.
Second time at a Burger & Lobster but first time at the Mayfair one on Clarges St. Really good food, the calamari was amazing but my mate's starter of scallops was even better. Really good lobster for main. Our waitress Daniella was lovely and so helpful. Definitely coming back here asap!
Z. A. B.
Ordered the burger and fries - Fries were absolutely delicious and could not get enough of it. The medium well burger was also amazing. Was served by Karola and she was the sweetest person ever!
K. N.
Love the place. Food came out quick and it was delicious. Will definitely go back there again
T. Y.
Our trip to Burger and Lobster was brilliant. The food was exceptional. Daniella was our server, she was excellent. Thank you very much. My friend enjoyed making his own Negroni.
A. S.
We had a family dinner at B&L for first time tonight. But it was absolutely lovely! Karola made sure we had a great experience, she was extremely nice and attentive!
Definitely recommended ✌🏼
P. A.
A must if you are in London. Great combination of both. We really enjoyed our meal there.
Т. Х.
Pretty decent place for burgers and lobsters. Does exactly what you would expect at above average price. The sauce for the lobster is great. The dishes other than burgers and lobsters aren’t as good. The service is not very well organized and didn’t appear to be very experienced.
G. H.
Karola who served me was brilliant, I came here a week after it opened originally and to come back now post covid too, was a great experience. Delicious food, amazing service. A proper gem!
G. G.
Amazing place. Staff are polite and friendly and the food was amazing. The ambiance is kind of romantic, perfect for date night ❤️
A. W.
Daniella has been a delight, first time we have been to burger and lobster and she single-handedly made our evening. Great service with outstanding knowledge of the menu with great recommendations that accompanied the food. Thank you
E. P.
Best burger and lobster I have ever been to! Staff are so friendly and helpful and service was insane. Special thank you to karola who made our dinner experience so wonderful and taught me about how to open the lobster ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you xx

The lobster roll is a must have when you visit Burger & lobster. Good customer service and nice ambience too.
D. N.
Another great dinner at what is currently by far my favourite restaurant in London. Consistently great food and atmosphere. The real highlight however is the service and the team. Tonight every single one of them was again exceptional. Thank you to Veska, Iwona, Alejandra, Karola and Christina.
H. S.
We had a great time at Burger at Lobster, the waitress Daniella was great and helped celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Food delicious too - Would recommend!!
M. C.
Delicious food every time and impeccable quick service! Karola is a fantastic host & super helpful with wines; on the ball, always topping up our wine!
Highly recommend the lobster roll!
B. P.
Great lunch meal out! Came here for my birthday and the staff were super friendly and surprised me with a birthday song and cake. Daniella our waitress was friendly and very attentive.
A. A.
I came here and got the early bird deal which is £20 PP and you get lobster, fries , salad and butter sauce . . Id say its worth it if you like lobster . Service charge added . Friendly and lovely staff , very attentive 👏.
H. S.
Karola was our waitress this evening and the service was absolutely amazing. constantly observing us if we needed anything and so friendly. the food was amazing too.
j. l.
Wonderful service, great food. Daniella was particularly efficient and couldn’t have been more helpful. Only downside was having to pour my own Negroni, but I was warned. Thank you.
R. N.
Very pleasant evening with 4 adults and four teens, though given 4 stars as on entry our waitress was very aggressive when we asked for our pre booked table, saying we hadn't booked for 8 and that we had to pay a deposit to reserve...we hadn't realised our friends had made the booking for a table of 5 and table for 3. However the waitress easily found us a table for 8 but kept going on about how lucky we were and made us feel like we didn't have the right to a table for 8! Despite that we all had what we could afford which was burgers but by gosh they were good burgers, utterly delicious and well worth it. It's in a nice location and has a lovely atmosphere, but if you go for anything other than burgers it's pricey so be warned. The lobster dishes did look yummy though
A. B.
Went last night, it was lovely great food, great and drinks, service was very good staff very friendly, definitely go again when in London
Y. N.
Food is delicious! Must try grilled whole lobster! Cocktails are good as well! Very good service, particularly Karola :)
P. A.
Absolutely one of the best addresses in London. The Lobster, the lobster roll, the burger and the fries are excellent. Friendly and happy staff. One of my favorites.
Update, the burger has become less tasty.
J. T.
I went to have dinner on a Saturday night, the food was amazing, I got a full lobster, and I could choose to have it half grilled and half steamed. It was served with a delicious sauce, chips and salad. The oysters were also delicious and I'm not really a fan of oysters, this says everything. Prices might seem a bit high, but considering the location and the quality of the food I would say that is fair enough! 5 stars!
S. P.
Very tasty and good portions. Roll combo was far too big for one person
C. T.
Everything about the restaurant was excellent. The food, the service and the drinks were well worth the money. Couldn’t recommend more
S. L.
I have been to a few Burger & Lobster locations around London, and this so far is one of the best. The service from start to finish is excellent. Front of house greets you and takes you to your table, before introducing you to your waiter. The waiter was always present when you needed something and brought everything out very fast.
Food was amazing, lobster (I had steamed) was cooked perfectly and the garlic butter sauce is something else, and deserved five stars on its own. The burger too was very good, however it is a very large portion. Thick burger patty, with bacon & cheese heavily put on (£19).
Overall I would definitely recommend this site of Burger & Lobster, and suggest that you book in advance as it was very busy when we went!
G. G.
Daniella was a fantastic Waitress. She put a smile on my face and gave me fantastic food and drink. She is a great host.
o. p.
Great place to have a Lobster in London, I would say the best. I’m a big fan of lobster and went all over the places in London to find the perfect one. After long time I’ve found this place and the food, service are amazing. Prices are also affordable and they serve burgers, lobster, crabs and oysters. Perfect place to have your sea food at good price.
M. M.
We had an incredible time! Karola is the best waitress ever! Made all the difference to our evening
H. B.
Went here for my friend Birthday and I loved it. I had the burger and lobster burger, ohh it was good and juicy. Never taste anything like it before. It was juicy, well seasoned, and the bun was crispy. I loved it and would definitely go back there.
R. A.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely meal for valentines. The food was amazing and our waitress Daniella gave great service. Would definitely recommend to others.
G. S.
Best Lobster in my entire life. Super highly recommended to visit here. I didn`t need to wait so long and staffs were so nice
G. A.
Friendly staff, lovely service and food
C.
A fancy restaurant where offers you with the lovely & tasty cuisines, what's more, the hospital & elaborate service was the best experience I had in London while dining in restaurants. Worried that we can't handle the Lobsters properly on our own prior to our arrival, not only did the professional servant show how to cope with them with patience, but come for us to check whether we needed help during our dinner time. As for the Lobsters, which tasted fresh as well as juicy, you would absolutely regret not to have more regardless of the price^^. In a nutshell, highly recommended for people coming to London for the first time and make a reservation in advance during meals time, or just go at the off-peak time.
M.
Sooo tasty worth the price, Staff we’re polite and atmosphere was also great

Very tasty food, delicious burgers and lobsters. We visited the place during Christmas period, the service was very professional and friendly, everything came on time. Lobster is the key player on this place, taste is amazing and coupling beef with lobster is unforgettable.... Really worth the visit.
B. L.
Beautiful restaurant and good food.
We order the big boy; a 2.6kg lobster.
We all feel very thirsty after the meal... don’t know if they put lot of MSG in the food?
T. S. P. I. O. P. U.
A lovely venue with beautiful staff. Very attentive and ensured my wife’s “allergens” were catered for. Couldn’t fault anything and probably one of the best burgers I have ever had!!
I. C.
Food & Drinks - No comments still good like what i’ve had before and quite consistent, just that the menu have changed since the last visit in 2015. We had the 2lbs lobster to share, it was done perfectly fine. Standard cocktail and wine to go with our food. It was late lunch for us and we did not want to over eat as we have scheduled a dinner.
Service - Rubbish.. Just because we lifted our hands to signal for someone to come to us (to get the menu, and also to order, whole process took about 15 minutes?) and we were given a really sarcastic remark. When we signalled for the bill we also got another sarcastic remark, somewhat telling us that we are impatient. Look, if you can't handle the crowd, sarcasm is not unnecessary when you can't do your job properly (aka, overly slow). PS, it wasn't even full house as it was already late afternoon.
I don't recall the Soho branch being so unfriendly - this was the Mayfair branch we went to and, just did not like the sarcasm by the manager (lady) and her staff. If I had to revisit I would rather go to other branches instead.
J. P.
Tasty food for an acceptable price, especially in Central London.
M. J.
The name says it all! Great spot for awesome burgers and perfectly cooked lobster. You can get either but I suggest the combo so you get both. I also prefer the grilled lobster. Even The fries and salad that accompany every plate are exceptional. The folks behind B&L have done a great job covering all the bases.
A. L.
we googled this place before going to London
We heard this is a must go place. so we made a reservation before we get to London. the signatures dishes are Lobster and burger
the seating are good, the atmosphere is very good too. The food portion was big, the price was reasonable.
T. S.
Amazing service and friendly staff. Food delivered hot and fresh. Perfect ambience and company to match. My type of evening.
S. V.
Dani was fantastic! Very efficient and friendly. Was a great meal, thank you so much Dani 🥰
D. P.
Brilliant, have eaten at one before several years ago but both the menu & the staff have improved beyond recognition.
Ordered sea food starter which was fantastic, the sauce is spicy but it worked really well.
Main course was the B & L combo which looked like a man v food challenge but was so good I couldn’t resist demolishing it!
Great selection of craft beers too.
Staff were amazing, we’re not afraid to have a joke with you and my beer never got within less than an inch of the bottom before they arrived to ask if I wanted a refill.
Just the right wait between courses too, and didn’t wait an eternity for the bill !
R. M.
This is a place worth the visit. It may sound a strange mix but the beef (prime quality) and the lobster on top go together erfectly. Also the friendly staff, always ready to help you is a plus. It is quiet close to the Green Park tube station and parking is really difficult. I will be back for sure.
A.
My wife and I loved the restaurant.
Very good for quiet, comfortable dinner. Fancy combination - burger and lobster - definitely worth trying. Decent wine. Good desert. Try passion fruit tart - delicious.
Friendly and professional staff. Thank you, Mihaela!
E. K.
Danielle was the beat waitress. Kind - she laughed at our terrible jokes. Honestly - great girl - keep her xx
S. t. n.
We had such a wonderful time and the food was amazing. The service was excellent (thank you Daniella!)
E. M.
My husband and me had an amazing date night in this restaurant ))
Thank you Karola for your help and lovely service!
V. L.
Fresh lobsters bring served here. Definitely a heavenly spot to spend time over here for lobster lovers!!
Staffs and friendly and helpful. Opt for lobster roll if you prefer less hassle and a juicy option.
B.
What can I say it's just great food and exceptional service. Price is a bit on the higher end but to be expected for such a famous restaurant in the UK. Restaurant wasn't completely full during weekday lunch but it's good to make a reservation in advance especially for bigger groups.
P. J.
What a fun place. I would have never put lobster on a hamburger, but it worked so well! The Brie was a great touch as well. Everything tastes fresh. It was delightful.
The atmosphere was fun. The service was great. The music was loud.
S. B.
Always a great time here, service is friendly and brisk, food is spot on, hits the mark every time. Repeat visits essential to life!
K. W.
I normally have the grilled lobster but stopped for a quick lobster roll lunch today. Delicious as always. Flavours for roll, fries, salad and sauce all on point. Friendly service.
S. Y.
Popular famous dinning spot in town. Bread is a bit crunchy combined with the lobster are really delicious. We took the bar table seat so that no need to line in queue. Waiters are friendly and always smiling. Bonus point for all WeChat pay users since they offer order from WeChat. Will be back if ever visit London.
D. N.
Really love the food and the service here! Karola is very friendly and nice!
Highly recommended!
J. C.
Glad to see new menu on board. I enjoyed the Dragon Shrimp very much! Fresh lobster nicely grill with buttery bisque sauce 😋 succulent, flavourful...
• kombucha so so
Nice food, great service!

In 2017, traveling London with my mother, I enjoyed the lobster roll so much that I came back to enjoy it again at Mayfair; Once again, the food was stunning! As I was alone and preferred the bar, I managed to get seated straight away in the busy pub. Buttery rolls stuffed with lobster was like being in heaven: the brioche was properly toasted and there was a generous amount of lobster meat with a touch of lovely taste of mayo sauce. Also, it was served with a perfect combination of lemon and garlic butter sauce to enrich the entire appetite. Sipping a glass of white wine, I felt that everything hit the right notes. If I get to have another chance to visit London, I will definitely be back!
The only disappointing thing was that there was a high amount of service charge added on the bill. I thought they shouldn’t expect the additional charge since I was left untouched by any of the servers until I finished savoring the food by myself on the bar.
M. M. D. C.
A classic, always great. 28£ for a sandwich can feel exaggerated but it's still a formula that works. Once in a while, you have to go.
f. A.
Daniellas was excellent. The food was amazing.😀
P. M.
The grilled lobster is really good. The lobster roll, I had to order a second one.

I always come back to this restaurant chain. Love the simple and delicious concept. Very elegant ”italian” service this time. Worth of visited for sure if you like lobsters.
S. L.
Great food and service, nice venue.

Fabulous evening. Karola was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit

Nice atmosphere at this upmarket burger joint. Service was good and staff were friendly. Food was amazing, I had the Holy F**k Burger which was cooked to perfection, its a spicy 10oz which came with nice fries and salad. My daughter had the 6oz Burger with Lobster and she thoroughly enjoyed it. £60 including a beer and a non alcoholic cocktail. Definitely recommend 🍔
C. A.
Good food, quick service and reasonable price. Burger and lobster combo was amazing and the burgers are great Cooked to your liking.
M. J.
Yummy yummy...the lobster was really really good
Glad I ate there. A mother's day lunch for myself
Very friendly staff too
B. C.
The original joint where it all started! Figured that if I were to eat at a Burger & Lobster, might as well eat at the original.
We ordered both the standard lobster and the limited edition special - the dragon shrimp (called shrimp but it's still lobster!). The dragon shrinp came with a tomato based bisque sauce that was amazing and a nice change of pace compared to their standard sauce.
Only downside is the place is quite pricey, but what else can you expect for top-tier lobster...
S. P.
Amazing! Easy to find, walking distance from Green Park Station. Lovely food and drink. I came before rush hour so it was nice and relaxing
N. A.
Burger was great. Lobster roll as well, also the waitress was so kind and helpful.
P. S.
I thought this place was excellent. Service was awesome and the food came out quickly even though there was a body in practically every seat. Please make sure you let the server know in advance if you're wanting split checks. Come in a group of Four or less, it's a little harder to get bigger groups inside.
M. S.
The lobster roll is amazing, but it doesn’t come with chips if you order the normal one (£20), you have to order it as a side. Overall a nice and full meal.
P. M.
Nice places believe this is the original B and L. Good burger and lobster and great focused service ...nice espresso martinis to finish the evening too.
D. G.
Fabulous food, this place came highly recommended. Best surf and turf ever. Great busy place, quite noisy but fun. Only stole a star for the embarrassingly obvious staff falling out behind the bar!
M. M.
Lobster burger was the perfect size and taste—lobster meat melted on top of a 5 oz. burger with Brie cheese and served with a side of chips and salad. Very tasty!
E. G.
Really a good combination made with hamburger and lobster. I have chosen to try the B&L Burger, really really good, maybe the burger was a bit small but with the fries as a side everything was enough. The location is beautiful, modern and clean. It is suggested to book a table, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Price a bit higher then a normal burger, but considering lobster is ok
J. L.
Tried something different this time and had the lobster + beef burger. The meal did not disappoint!
R. V.
Yelp stated it required reservations but this was not the case. You're greeted at the door and then handed to the polite staff. Lobster and burger was delicious just like the other reviews!
A. L.
Lobsters are sweet and chewy. The butter sauce is one of the best I’ve tasted.
Y. S.
The food was great! Nice and cosy place! The service was immaculate, we were served by Estefaña, she was very nice and friendly! Will definitely come again!
E. S.
Delicious food and friendly service. Menu has good selection with reasonable prices. Recommended while in London.

S. H.
Amazing food. Service was very good and friendly. Good value for money.
J. C.
Excellent front of house service from the onset comfortable first impression and fir duration of the meal
Suitable and sufficient portions in line with cost
Outstanding quality to both the beef and the Shell fish presented to our table
Certainly shall be returning and can highly recommend for a casual occasion
Hits the nail on the head perfect
R. L.
Really relaxed venue and of course great burgers
M. A.
Karola is so lovely i hope everyone is like her

A. C.
Daniella was very kind with all of us! I’ll come back for sure (just because of her) and the food as well!
P. M.
The grilled lobster is really good. The lobster roll, I had to order a second one.
C. S.
Open at noon. Great food great service what more can I ask for. Make sure you get there early to be seated. I went in around 12:06pm by the time I got my burger. The place is pack.
B. R.
Great visit today, delicious food and a nice chat with the guy on front of house about tennis!
M. A.
Excellent food. Karola is amazing and her energy is fantastic.
S. T.
Amazing food. Would recommend boiled lobster as it's much easier to eat.
許.
Nice place, good food, good service, we all love it. The chips are also delicious!
Y. Y. C.
So excited to eat such a wonderful and tasty vegan burger, will come back soon!
M. d. C.
Only thing better than the food was the service we had from Daniella!!
N. V.
The place to go when craving a good burguer and don't feel like experimenting. Been there a few times and food has always been great.
Went on my own, sat at the bar and the staff were helpful and friendly :)
S. S.
Omnomnomnom...what more can I say...the lobster was delicious and massively portioned...the burger was honestly the best I've had all year long (and I was here in November). Thumbs up! I'll be back next time I'm in London.
R.
I love Burger and Lobster! The food was superb - the lobster was a star. Ambiance was nice. Their service were beyond words - the staff were very pleasant who accommodated our group even if we had plenty of luggages. Very courteous and friendly, always asks us if we need anything. They also surprised me with a birthday song and cake when we finished our main meal. Thank you burger and lobster staff for doing a fantastic job. Will definitely recommend. 🤩
C.
I have been in this restaurant in summer 2014. Nice atmosphere and nice food. With the same price I prefer the Lobster witch was really good.
F. C.
Amazing dinner. The lobster was juicy and tasty, the burger well cooked.
Very good location and service!

K. Y. S.
Nice lobster and friendly host that personally inform us in detail about the menu.
J. P. G.
Thanks Daniella! Great food and amazing service!
J. S.
We couldn't have asked for a bette meal. The lobster roll was delicious and they did not scrimp on their potion size. We have been previously and throughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back soon.
N. P.
Nice grub, very pricey though. Had the combo at over £30 which didn't include fries or sides. Very tasty.
E. A.
Thank you so much for everything. Karola service is amazing.
J. T.
Food was excellent and Dani was very attentive, thank you!
N. B.

Stopped in for a bite and a drink, burger was tasty, and service was excellent! I would definitely come back here if I was in the area...
V. W.
Absolutely fantastic place to eat!! The host on the door Tango is an asset to your business. Not only did he go above and beyond to help me fix my friends birthday that we had ruined but he also delivered world class customer service whilst we were at the table. Thank you for the lovely evening and tasty food!
M. T.
By 1.30 pm extremely busy and crowded. Waiting time for a table of 4 atleast 45 minutes. No waiting area indoor. Ordered takeaway. Location is good in Mayfair but unbearable to wait. That's why I prefer to go to Portland Street even though my apartment is 3 mins walking distance from Clarges Street. Overall it's nice to dine in here as long as you know it's not peak hours.
S. X.
The lobster was great. The burger not so great.
The ambience is dark. It's dark inside. The music made me feel heavy.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
D. A. O.
It might be kind of expensive but the service and the atmosphere and the food makes this place worth every single pound.
The food is excellent, the beers are great and it is located nearby the Green Park.
P. S.
The staff were friendly and one of them even taught me how to properly extract the meat from the lobster shell which was really cool! The food was really good too.
E. l.
Yummy 10 oz beef burger and delicious lobster burger
A. L.
Solid food and service. Reasonably priced for the location. Good place for business lunch if you don't mind the tourists.
S. C.
Wonderful food!
E. K.
Tasted the lobster roll, B&L burger and truffle chips - yum yum indeed!
S. L.
Great food and service, nice venue.
v. c.
Always have good experiences at Burger & Lobster. Good decor and friendly / helpful waiter.
G. M.
Had the whole lobster accompanied with white wine which really was excellent!

With the special offer they have for September 2020 it's good value and the lobster is as good as I remembered from years ago. The lemon garlic sauce yummy! Very nice waiter too, who made you feel special. What else can a girl want? 😉😁
L. T.
One of the best burgers I've had in years! A touch pricey but absolutely worth it. My friends grilled whole lobster was outstanding. Great meal and great service all around.
K. C.
The food was great and so was the service. I heard tales prior to my trip of lackluster service in Europe but I've not experienced that yet, and certainly not here. The prices were fair and the portions adequate. Granted, I'm a big guy and my portion size may not be yours, but I think most people will find them very fair. I was in on a rainy Monday night and the place is warm and friendly. Even the young lady who was running the food out was very nice and upbeat.
H. L.
Services was great. Good food at reasonable prices. Amazing atmosphere. Staff were professional.
G. O.
Delicious food and good service here. One dish was saltier than we expected (we usually like salt!) but it was probably just an accidental tip of the hand on this occasion. Apart from, great dining experience for me and 2 girlfriends!
R. N.
The lobster roll is good! Sweet and fresh California lobster on a toasted bread.
f. A.
Daniellas was excellent. The food was amazing.😀
M. G.
As always this place is wonderful. Good and fast service and food is just perfect.
S. H.
One of my favorite eating places in London - real lobsters for quite a decent price and democratic pub-like atmosphere
C. C.
Burger and lobster did not sound right at first, but it was really good! We really enjoyed both burger and lobster!
T. F.
Had the best time at this restaurant last week. The staff were amazing and tried to make the experience as fun as possible in spite of the Covid restrictions in place at the time. Maria, who was our waitress, is an asset to the restaurant. Super friendly and welcoming.
T. N.
Delicious food and friendly service. I have been to a few Burger & Lobster locations around London, and this so far is one of the best. The service from start to finish is excellent. Front of house greets you and takes you to your table, before introducing you to your waiter. The waiter was always present when you needed something and brought everything out very fast.
L. L.
Brilliant food but most importantly amazing staff with top service, charm and wit - a place not to miss! Best one in B&L chain.
y. t.
Not too crowded for lunch. We made a reservation so we could enjoy pleasant meals. Lobsteroll and truffle chips were the best of best. Also I liked a variety of non-alcohol drink options and I found it tasty. I was a bit annoyed by the staff who tried too much jokes to traveler customers while he didn't do it to the next table of locals.
Overall it was okay to visit for a lunch

We order 1LB lobster. Nice! Can try~~~
M. F.
Excellent Food and great customer service. Time well spent.
E. C.
Super popular restaurant serving lobster and burger.
D. R.
Super food. Fantastic staff with the right level of attentiveness but relaxed, non invasive and friendly service.
Half a lobster with truffle fries and a side of perfectly cooked broccoli was enough for a main. The medium rare burger with hot (very) chilli sauce was excellent too. The Red Claw lager was delicious and not too badly priced for London at £4.90.
H. N.
We had delicious lunch - great flavours in food and cocktails
G. L.
To expensive. Burgers are not exciting, Loster just okay
M. V.
One of the best burgers I had in my life..
A. N.
The food was great and Karola was awesome!
A. R. A.
Service was excellent, food is okay
K. H.
It's nice burger to enjoy with your friends and family around green park.
N. C.
Lovely burger with lobster sprinkled on top, crispy fries and fresh salad. Service was quick and charming as well. Only thing that lets it down is that it's a bit pricy compared to GBK, Byron etc.
E. C.
I absolutely love burger and lobster! The place is a little cramped (some may say cosy) but otherwise there's nothing bad to say. Staff are lovely and polite and quick and helpful, wide selection of drinks and bar staff make up all kinds of cocktails. But the most important part is the food. The food is mouth wateringly good with some of the best lobster I have ever had being served in some incredible sauce. I would highly recommend trying Burger and Lobster, which it seems a lot of people do given that its often very busy!
S. W.
Went here with a toddler at the weekend and was a little anxious about generally how he would be received. Staff were amazing, found us a table immediately and very welcoming. Very fast service, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff took time to talk or interact with him. Limited baby changing space as you would expect, but wasn't an issue. Food was delicious and I would definitely recommend!
E. E.
What a great experience! Great atmosphere within with dark mood lighting, and plenty of people watching going past. The variety of drinks available and quality of food are absolutely fab.
The only criticism is that the 1 1/4lb lobster didn't have near as much meat for what you'd expect at £27. Though the quality of the meat and the method it was cooked (you could have 50/50 steamed and grilled) was a bonus.
I'll definitely be returning!
B. R. (. R.
Karola was amazing, food was amazing also
R. B.
Best Lobster !! of course resonable prices, gyosa also good.
Y. K.
Very good with Burger & Lobster plus white wine and ale beer
N. M.
The food is okay. My burger came juicy and was cooked to my liking. The food came a bit cold, but with a good joke from a waiter how small the size of lobster in a burger: it's certainly worth really a joke. Unfortunately, there is no more vegetable on the menu other than buttered kale. An ambitious yet mediocre performance.
G. H.
Went to a team dinner here while on a business trip and had a great experience. The service was spectacular, even though we were a larger group. The main reason I am giving this restaurant 5 stars is the lobster roll, it was absolutely decadent. If you are going to Burger & Lobster you have to give it a try!
P. H.
Food was fantastic! Lobster was fresh and tasty with their special sauce. Burger was very sumptuous and tasty. I loved fries too because they were crispy, not soggy. Very professional and kind staff!
They are pricey, but it is London!
They were worth to try!
A. S.
T. T.
Super helpful and friendly staff!
The lobster was very fresh.
You should try the Lobster Roll.
I didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table. It is recommend that you reserve your table before you come. We tried the original burger. It was good, but the lobster was way better
S. R.
Food is great ! This is where Pince and Pints got their inspirations from !
Would recommend for anyone visiting London !
م. ٠.
Tbh I didn't try the lobster sandwich, but my brother told me it's insane, it's a must.
The beef burger isn't the best but not bad.
The place is always busy so it's not quite at all. But that is normal for such a restaurant.
C. Y.
Consistently great food and friendly service. The value isn't as great as it used to be but still very reasonable and the menu offers better choice than it used to (that said, bring back the panko prawns!). This is a favourite lunch spot for quick, great tasting, food and you can't get a better lobster roll anywhere.
S. G.
The lobster rolls are about as addictive as I imagine crack cocaine to be. Can’t fault it, unless it turns out there is actual crack in them, which would explain a lot.
When you find a restaurant that has scaled the highest peak of one dish, never let it go.
Most locations also have a particularly nice little bar area, worth arriving early for a beer or cocktail.
M. S.
We had amazing time thank you Karola
D.
What a great experience!!!! I have recently been to this amazing restaurant with my girlfriends and I cannot recommend it enough!!! The food was nothing but excellent!!! The same goes for the drinks!!! And the staff was beyond words. The restaurant manager, Luca as well as Davide and Valentina went out of their way to offer the best service and take care of us!!!! A big thank you to everyone working at Burger & Lobster Mayfair!!! I will definitely come back very soon!!!🍷🍷🍷
P. E.
Got lucky tonight, someone didn't show up for their reservations and we were able to dine here. We had the Original Burger and the B&L Burger (burger topped with lobster meat). My husband said it was the best burger he has ever had. We also ordered the truffle fries which my daughter loved. The drinks were delicious. The other most popular meal seemed to be the lobster. Our waitress was friendly and our food came our fairly fast considering the restaurant was packed.
a. m.
Lobster roll with lemon & butter sauce is very tasty!
M. A.
The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great.
K. Y.
Amazing fabulous cozy place. If you want to hang out in London and have a good bite, go to this place. I had the B&L burger and it was awesome, basically it's a mix of both beef and lobster burger which I truly recommend. The lobster & quinoa salad is also delicious which is considered as a meal.
Bottom line: five stars...
L. H.
Food was good. Not so keen on tall chairs ( i call them bar stools) and tall tables. Upmarket restaurants don't serve on stools, guess is to make customers not sit too long. Tables have little space if you order extra dishes.
T. S.
This restaurant has a relaxed fun atmosphere and the lobsters are thoroughly recommended. The cocktail list is short but the bar is well stocked and the bar men will mix to your choice. The wine list is also restricted but reasonable. I have a suspicion that this place has become a fixture in tourist guides judging by the number trying to get in during the evening. Get an early booking with a small number of friends and luxuriate in a few lobsters and bottles for maximum enjoyment.
R. F.
Hands down, the best burger I've eaten...
F. A.
Great food and atmosphere. We tried the combo and truffle fries.
L. M.
Best service I’ve received in a restaurant! Our waitress Yana was very pleasant and attentive from the moment we arrived at our table. From the minute we walked in the door at burger and lobster every person we spoke to was beyond helpful and pleasant. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and toilets were very clean, we will defiantly be coming back to this same one again! Very very pleased!!!!
F. A.
As always, best lobster roll in town.
A. S.
Wow went here for my friends 30th. Amazing food. Huge portions. Worth every penny. Brilliant service. Freindly staff and a homely environment. The food came out fairly quickly too. Probably my best reasturant experience. Great banter. Service. Food and a warm atmosphere. The waiters even gave a complimentary brownie for the birthday girl while singing ! Great work guys !
E. B.
Simple and good! Nothing else is needed :)
Service was good too!
J. '.
Good food. Great service
H.
First time going there with my father, it was a nice treat although I was working after! We both had the combo for £33, a bit expensive for what it is, although you get a lobster (1.25lb) and a burger. They asked us to add bacon and cheese for an extra charge. Though it was small, I think that for £33, we could at least have it included. By the end of the meal, for £33, the combo was light, along with a pale ale. I will return for sure, but will add the cheese and bacon.
Atmosphere was nice, decor was good, service was great, all bartenders are smiling and always there to assist you.
S. G.
From an American standpoint - Excellent burgers and service. Slightly pricey but worth it. Burgers were flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also had the vanilla mousse with berries and graham topping which was amazing. Great food, great experience. 5 stars.
M. S. (.
Totally, undeniably, criminally tasty. Had to wait for the table quite a lot so decided to eat at the bar - and barmen were more than lovely. Lobster roll 20pounds (March 2019), burger seems a bit more
M. C.
Best and Fresh Lobster for dinner or lunch..look for Tango best service ever
W. B.
We discovered this place by accident courtesy of Google maps. The meal (oysters and burgers) was great. Likewise all the drinks we sampled. Staff faultlessly fun and friendly providing great service. Loved the atmosphere. We will be back! Thank you, Bill and Gab
M. N. A.
Amazing service, amazing food, ambiance and people!! The only reason i’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the very high pricing. But i guess it’s worth if you’re a seafood enthusiast like me. Definitely get the grilled whole lobster with a side of salad and some fries.
K. V.
Perfectly consistent burgers and lobsters
L. V.
Good burgers and good lobster. Love that it comes with sides of fries and salad.
G.
Delicious oysters and lobster.
It is perfect for a romantic evening out with my husband🥂
I recently returned with my girlfriends, we had so much fun - chatting and eating, the food is soooo fresh!
Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff and they make a great margarita too 😅🍸
A huge ‘thank you’ to Luca -the branch manager - for looking after us and to Valentina and Davide.
Overall, great team work 🙏🏻

Please be aware the restaurant does not give all service charge to the staff! I really enjoy Burger and Lobster. My favourite is the lobster roll. I am quite disappointed that they don't give all the service charge to the employees through! Please be aware and ask them to remove it from the bill and leave cash instead as tips.
S. C.
Love this chain restaurants. They have a great menu as well as jumbo lobsters of the day. They have good sized lobsters, not the prawn sized ones in some other restaurants. It's a little pricy but makes a nice treat.
A. C.
Excellent food, excellent staff, great environment. The waiting time was a little too long but worth it for the food. The lobster rolls are juicy and fresh and the burgers are some of the best I have ever tasted. Great for functions and parties, their drinks menu is great and I encourage anyone and everyone to visit.
R. A.
Great portions and well cooked lobster. The burger has all the right flavours and textures. The service was fantastic and I will definitely go back.
I tried the grilled lobster which was nice but I prefer the juicer steamed lobster. The avocado, walnet and quinoa salad had this sweet and vinegar dressing that was delicious and crunchy!
T.
Delicious! A little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. Both the burger and the lobster were great, so you can't go wrong!
D. S.
I was lucky that I came alone and I immediately sat at the bar. In the meantime, there were heaps of people waiting outside. No food menu; just burgers or lobsters. I had the burger, and it was real tasty. The ambiance of the was just great, a bit noisy but worth the visit. I definitely would recommend to others, especially friends. Come early they don't take reservations !
T.
Be prepared to wait for a table at the bar - this is a very popular mini-chain of restaurants. Choose from a selection of craft beers. A decent variety of wines are also available. The burgers are good and the portions are large. According to the friends I was with, the lobster is also really good and comes with a delicious garlic dressing.
L.
I had lobster roll , lobster made into balls and fried and french fries with mushroom and cheese . The fries needed more cheese n mushrooms to be tastier othereise he food was delicious. Quick service. It is fully packed so u might need yo reserve or wait outside till a table is empty. The place is veryyyyy noisy. U cant have a decent conversation ..maybe the acoustics of the place..maybe cuz everyone was drinking.
P. N.
Fantastic lunch with great food.
Maria and Tatina made the experience so special, thank you@
M. N.
Great atmosphere. Warm bar and sofa are for buddies to chit chat and enjoy the excellent meal and drinks. Reasonable price of food under London standard.
£20 buy you Lobster (grilled or steamed), served with lovely onion sauce, or beef burger, and both come with a cup of brilliantly made french fries! Drinks are great so as the friendly bar tenders.
An adorable experience in this city.
S. G.
Clearly a popular place since we were told the wait would be 45 minutes but we managed to grab the last spot at the bar instantly.
Food was delicious and the service was super friendly. The lobster roll in the toasted brioche bun was incredible - the garlic butter topped it off perfectly.
G.
It’s the best burger I’ve had better than Gordon Ramsay‘s burgers and very friendly staff.
L.
Simply amazing, the staff really friendly and always smiling
D. K.
Excellent lobster rolls with a decent selection of beer. They keep the menu small and specialized. I always get the lobster roll and a beer. The lobster roll comes with a salad. Both roll and salad are very good. The location is also good. Plus, if you are travelling alone, this is one of the few places in London with bar stools so you can belly up to the bar and eat there instead of sitting at a big table by yourself. It is expensive for what you get, but London isn't cheap anyway. Because of the high prices for what you get I would give it 4 stars but the bar stools push it to 5 stars for me.
D. S.
Hailed as one of the best meals you can get for around 20 quid, I had to give it a go despite being warned of the wait. Pick the steamed option, the meat's less dry and full of flavour and it's really good indeed. Interestingly, it was the experience as a whole, hunting for the tasty bits and cleaning every last morsel of a whole lobster, that I really enjoy!
G. N.
Friendly staff and great food! A special thank you to Bruno!
B. K. T.
Huge lobsters at a fairly decent price point..
H. B.
Food: Burgers and/or Lobster rolls - that's it, done! No menu, just order one of those things, comes with fries. Lobster roll is 20 pounds (a bit steep).
Place: Lots of space, but gets packed. The wait when I went was 45 minutes. Thankfully you can just sit at the bar, which is much quicker.
Service: The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Overall, if you don't mind spending the money, this is a nice place, high quality fodd and great staff.
L. J.
Fantastic lobster, perfectly cooked, good service
L. V.
Huge queues but worth going around half 11 on a weekend the wait is worth it. The staff are charming and attentive, the cocktails are delicious and the burger is substantial and meaty. Not the best lobster in London but worth trying at least once. The atmosphere is relaxed despite being very hectic. Perfect for an unusual first date if you can get seats. Top 5 burger in London #GoogleGoesPOP
C. L.
We arrived about 40 minutes before closing and the staff helped us chose drinks and dinner entries that our whole family enjoyed. The food was great and I would strongly recommend this restaurant if your dinner budget is between 75 - 125 Euros / British Pounds .
F.
There have the best lobster I’ve ever eaten before.
G. P.
Thumbs up for the new menu, the lobster wraps are awesome
S. S.
Had a burger with cheese and bacon. Was a high quality burger and tasted amazing, with great fries on the side. The price is fair for a gourmet burger, and good atmosphere. Not tried the lobster there so can't comment on that!
S. A.
Its a bit of a long wait sometimes for a table but its always well worth it!!!. The burgers and juicy and tender, the lobster is fresh and tastes great whichever way you have it!!. The staff are always on hand to give a hand with any drinks suggests to go with your food as well as the handy napkins!!
陳.
Nice burger and fresh steamed lobster
M. N.
The "ordinary burger" plate was amazing. With dressing, pickles and a large biff tomato. Chips on the side, and a small container with salad topped with cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette. A lot of food for a reasonable price. Very well suited for children as well!
h. s.
Nice and friendly atmosphere, it is what it says in the title. Not a great variety of cocktails but that's not why you go here. Well worth a visit as the starters are out of this world, I'd go back just for those
P. M.
It is a pity that this place doesn't take reservations, because once you try it you definitely want to come back! A pioneer in making lobster accessible to all pockets in the London market, it offers flexible and convenient options to enjoy either the fishy or the meaty side of the menu, with generally good service level and a relaxed but nice atmosphere. If you don't mind the bigger premises and more impersonal environment the other locations in the city might still be a good option to try.
G. T.
Grilled lobster was excellent and great value for money. We had to wait an hour for a table at peak dinner time, but once inside, the service staff are excellent. We had 2 kids (with small appetites and a distaste for salad) and the staff happily split the burger in two, and swapped the portion of salad for fries, so each kid had the exact same thing (Parenting Rule #1 to avoid dinner time fights)
J. H.
Delicious burgers and delicious lobster. The beef used for the burger is incredible. The chips/fries were amazing as well. Portions were great.
Had to wait two hours for a table but they do call/text you to say when a spot is open. You have a window of time to get there and take that spot.
A good atmosphere and liveliness but a lot of fake poshness and over done wealth as well.
F. A. O.
Wonderful atmosphere, tasty food, and great welcoming. Our main dishes were Original Burger, Lobster Burger, and for the starter we took Panko Prawns. A little bit pricey but it worth the money.
A. K.
The lobster roll is incredible. The brioche is buttery soft and toasted perfectly. We had a few starters and can definitely recommend the lobster and prawn balls. Will definitely be going back
N. J.
Still as good as the first time I came. Great lobster.
K. S.
Does what it says on the tin. At £20, the Lobster is delicious and great value, but that same price for a burger, which was nice but not that nice, seems excessive. Go early, as queues after 7pm become ridiculous, as what feels like the whole of London, descends on all of the outlets. As the Mayfair one is slightly off the beaten track we found it the easiest of them all to get into and only had to wait 20mins. They also do a pint of Harvey's which was a pleasant surprise and the lobster roll is divine. Again though, if you want value for money you'd be wise just order a Lobster.
N.
Very friendly staff and a nice concept. Burgers are expensive at 20 pounds for what you get. Lovster was fantastic ! Overall a great experience but i would like them to make this even better of a value with some deals or loyalty arrangements.
K. C.
Came here with a friend for lunch on a Saturday, As there is no booking, we were worried how long we had to wait for but we only had to wait 40 minutes and we could leave and come back. Both myself and my friend had the grilled lobster, the size was decent, fries and salad were also good. The lobster was super fiddly and took me over an hour to eat but thats the nature of the lobster not the fault of the restaurant! Best bit is price; £20. Fab.
A. G.
I am not always a fan of gimmicky restaurants, and while this place is a steal for lobster lovers (20 GBP for a whole one steamed with garlic butter), it's not somewhere likely to become a regular haunt for me. That said, the burger was excellent - one of the best I've had for ages - with tasty moist meat, cooked perfectly, deliciously meting cheese and salty smokey bacon. The little side salad and decent fries were a welcome addition, although I'm still not sure the whole package is worthy of the 20 quid I had to pay. The Mayfair branch's 'put your name down, we'll call you if a table becomes available' system makes for a cold wait in the current weather or a rather frustrating wander around the neighbourhood looking for a place to drink (I've heard the Soho branch offers reservations for groups). We ended up being sent away, only to find ourselves called back just as we were sitting down about to order a drink elsewhere. A few minutes later and we'd have been most annoyed to have missed our slot or had to down our drinks. Still, it all worked out and the four of us were very happy with our dinner, despite the hefty price tag for the burger. Given this is a much better deal for the crustacean lovers out there I would recommend this place if you are all ordering the lobster or the lobster roll, for the meat lovers of London beware.
Side note: our Australian waiter made two of our party some of the best coffee (lattes if I recall) they had had in a while, worth asking for instead of their minimal dessert list which we didn't end up needing.
A. R.
I've been here a handful of times and have never had the burger. The lobster dish served with garlic butter sauce, skinny fries and a salad is one of my favourite meals that leaves you happy for a long time. Drinks here are done well, usually a bloody mary to go with the lobster. Dessert is fairly good, but you do come here for the lobster!
A. B.
Best burger in the UK. Without a doubt.
Yes, the wait is L-O-N-G but the food is outstanding. Good wine list, nicely stocked bar, and very good / friendly service.
Top of my list if I'm hungry and the queue isn't too long.
M. S.
Find it a bit embarrassing to admit, but the first time I had a lobster (in its entire shape and form) was Burger & Lobster! The menu is simple : Lobster or Lobster Roll or Burger. That's it. Have been here twice. The first time I went, had a lobster, and damn was it good! The next time was a lobster roll, and loved it even more. One of the few places where even the salad is great. Be prepared to queue up though. It does get really really busy.
X.
Bit pricy but good food
M. P.
10/10 food and service. Looking forward to coming back
p. c.
Only 3 items on the menu - whole lobster, lobster roll and mega burger. And it is all for 20 quid (pounds). I tried it all. Yes, I paid 20 quid for a burger....... it was good but not worth 20 quid. So just order the whole lobster and lobster roll. Both very very yummy.
It can be quite a wait to get a table (no reservations) so get in early or be prepared to wait.
C. T.
Good restaurant. 20 pounds for a lobster, a burger, or a lobster roll. I went for the lobster and thoroughly enjoyed it, but will try the lobster roll next time. The fries were very good too! Drinks were a bit pricey though.
J. S.
They don't take bookings and you might be waiting for up to two hours for a table when you get there, but it is certainly worth the wait. Also when you finally do get seated, the menu is an easy choice between lobster cooked two ways or a burger so it won't take you long to decide what to eat. And then when you order, the food arrives freshly cooked with in minutes so you'll be tucking in to the best lobster in London in no time at all (unless you chose the burger... but why would you do that when you can have lobster?)
T. K.
Excellent food !!!!
A. C.
Delicious food and great service! Our waiter Raphael made sure we had everything and was very helpful throughout our meal! I definitely recommend the restaurant!
T. K.
The whole lobster was so tender where you can order it mix of grilled & steamed, however, if you are hungry then you have to order the 5 oz burger aside (back up is always good 😆) which was also good as the lobster wont be enough😋
N. D.
Solid atmosphere. Good vibe. Nice music selection. Fantastic food. Yes, a little pricey and busy, but it’s Mayfair and the primary 2 items tout high quality beef and lobster. Cmon now.
C. A.
Explored this place 3 days ago while in London . Wanted to be adventurous trying lobster for the first time . There are no words to explain this Awesome place .. smashing food ,great atmosphere, wonderful staff All friendly . Thanks goes to the barman who served us the many cocktails and the wonderful Gabi who was ever so sweet xxx Will definitely go again . It's a MUST to visit . Keep it up guys . Caroline (Malta).
K. S.
Very pleasant service, outstanding french fries, amazing lobster (better grilled than steamed), interesting Swiss beer, enjoyed the Sauvignon.
C. E.
Great service with 2.3lbs lobster, great burger. Popular place both for locals and visitors. Definetely worth trying. There are couple of chain stores, those are nice as well with the same quality.
L. F.
I was been here with my family , waiters were kind and food was good . We ate a good fresh burgher but they have also different dishes with lobster, I am gonna try it next time .
E. B.
I went with my boyfriend and we had a really good time despite the noise and the music in the background. As soon as we arrived, we got sitten. Then, we had the lobster and the burger, which we shared together. the staff was very friendly and attentive despite they were very busy. The disadvantage is only the price of the meal: 20 £. However, if you have the Lobster, it's worth it.
H. L. R.
Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. The meat was delicious and extremely well cooked. The staff was nice and the wait more than reasonable. However does it justify the £20 price mark?
G. J.
Great food. Lobster was succulent and sweet. Burger was excellent as was the beer. Fantastic find. If you want a different burger experience and want to treat yourself then this is the place to do it.
L. W. -. J. C.
This restaurant is small compared to Oxfords or Bond Street’s. The discretionary tip is quite high in my opinion.
N. C.
It's a very nice restaurant but they don't take bookings and you have to queue for 30+ mins to get a table. For me this makes it tricky for a quick work lunch. Having said that the food is great and it is really fun, which I suppose is why people are willing to queue to get a table.
L. L.
Convenient and nice location. Nice and friendly service. I wasn't disappointed by the wine and the food. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to test the lobster, I went for a tasty burger. Probably next time!
S. T.
Wow! We came here after being let down by a booking at another restaurant and just had to find somewhere close. I will certainly be coming here again. I had burger and lobster (funny that?!) and both were amazing. There was a short wait for a table and we were sat at the bar where the staff were very attentive and friendly. When we got to our table our sever was very helpful and talked through the different options. Will be back when we are next in the area
F. H.
Amazing as usual excellent service
J. B.
I always order the lobster burger. It may not sound like a good mix, but it simply works. You get the best of both worlds. The prices are reasonable value for money and the service is quick and professional.
s. L.
Really helpful staff and delicious food
M. I.
Loved the steamed lobster and the calamari.
B. I.
Great experience, Tango from this branch provided excellent service
P. V.
Amazing staff, young and beautiful, helpful and caring. We had a child with and they have nice baby chairs and being ao helpful. We feel relaxed. Big lobster, fresh and delicious, good beer too. Bang for the bucks.
M. F.
Exceeded expectations! Went for the classic Lobster Roll and it was very tasty and well presented. Will definitely return soon
J. B. A.
My Favorite lobster roll in London.
Food is very tasty 😋 and fresh.
This Location is perfect for me.
The staff not bad, they are very fast.
C. S.
AMAZING. The lobster roll is one of the best things I've had in London. Must try!!

We had to queue for about 30 minutes but the food and service were well worth the wait. I had the lobster roll which was marvelous! The staff are very warm and friendly and the ambience is really nice! Cant wait to go back again!

First meal in London! There are a number of locations in London, but this one was a super convenient 6-minute walk from our hotel. We opted to sit at the bar to avoid the 15 minute wait for a table. Our first task was ordering cocktails. I chose the BL Burger Bellini (£9), which had strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, and fizz. A lovely drink even in the dead of early winter. My BF got the B&L does Gin & tonic (£9), a twist on a classic gin and tonic with peach, grapefruit, and cucumber tonic.
We decided to get the B&L combo, which is a 1.26 lb lobster and a 5 oz burger for £36. If you're going to come to Burger & Lobster, how can you not order the two quintessential menu items that this restaurant specializes in? We chose the lobster to be grilled. It's also served with a salad and chips (French fries for us Americans).
Both the burger and the lobster were phenomenal. Cooked to perfection, oozing with juices and melted butter. It was like a symphony exploded into song in my mouth. So mouth-wateringly delicious.
Chatting a bit with our server/bartender, we found out that this is actually a small global chain. There are even a couple of locations in NYC. They get their beef from a farm in Nebraska, and the lobster is sourced from Nova Scotia.
Excellent food and great service. We will have to try the ones in NYC next!

Does what it says - Burgers and Lobsters or a Lobster Burger/Roll... Went for a work dinner in the Farrigdon location and really enjoyed the food; I ordered the whole lobster which came with garlic dipping butter, chips and salad. The service was ok, my only problem with the evening was that it was too hot in the restaurant, we were near some kind of big grill and hot air kept on being pumped out - we asked the staff to turn it off but it took an hour before we could notice the difference. The price is well worth it if you order the Lobster, the Burger looked quite standard. Would visit again!

Excellent food, and a good buzz. Very popular, so expect to wait up to 30 minutes for a table, meanwhile enjoying a glass of Champagne at the lively bar. Excellent service by educated staff.

This was my first experience eating Lobster and the taste did not disappoint. The restaurant itself was clean and had nice decor. There is no menu and if it is the first time you go there, then you don't really know what to do but the staff are nice and helpful.
It is a very busy place, a lot of people sit by the bar and stand by the door while waiting for their booking, We sat near the front door for which for me puts me on edge a little. I don't particularly like people watching and wanting me to finish so I can get out but that it is hardly the venues fault.
The lobster was very tasty and with the chips made for a good meal. I didnt actually come out of it feeling full and completely satisfied but that is my hang up I guess.
I would definately recommend for anyone wanting to try Lobster in a chilled out enviroment but due to the in and out vibe (which the prices do not warrant) I don't think I will be heading back there soon.
h.
Good, but a bit overpriced for what it was
C. O.
STEAMED LOBSTER IS AMAZING!!! I cannot have enough of the lobster (it is huge!) and I found so much joy in picking the shell apart to find the last scraps of meat. £20 for a whole lobster is such a steal, why would anyone ever consider the burger? (Unless you're allergic to seafood, of course.) The accompanying chips were also very well done and the salad was lovely (I'm pretty much a carnivore so you have to trust me on this). The staff were friendly and cheerful and recommended a very smooth and affordable white wine which complemented my lobster perfectly. I will be back!
J. P.
All three choices are awesome. Lobster roll has the best taste, though the lobster itself is the most impressive. You would not expect great value in Mayfair, but this one is bang in the middle and delivers with style!
V. L.
Great food and got seated without a reservation
F. S.
Great staff, very friendly and acommodating...the lobster was good but did not taste as deliscious as it did a few months ago. Also, fries and salas on the side are not longer included in the lobster price...
A. A. M.
This branch has a cozy atmosphere with amazing service. While the meal options are fixed and limited, the taste is amazing. The lobster roll is what they are famous for. It is a great option for lunch.
S. T.
Food was quite good, queue was very very long. Waited for 45 min.
B. R.
There are just three menu options at Burger and Lobster: a burger; a lobster; or a lobster roll. Each costs £20 and is served with chips and salad. I've often wanted to try their burger, or their lobster, but when I've arrived I've been unable to order anything other than the lobster roll, so delicious are the memories of it. A bit expensive, a bit over trendy, but you won't regret a trip here.
S. R.
My experience to Burger & Lobster was unforgettable. They have many sizes of burgers in affordable price.Which you and your family enjoy together with one piece of a giant burger! The place was quit good, lots of people but its okay.Staffs are well trained they know your needs and very friendly.Nice place ever!
M. H.
I came here with work colleagues and I was really impressed. I had a Lobster roll, the roll is made from Brioche and was amazing and then you get unlimited chips. I think I paid £20 including drinks but very much worth it.
J. H.
A must in London. Burger and lobster is like an icon, you have to go. I took the classic lobster sandwich and was very good, beer is good, though I did not like quite much the spitfire ale, classic cask beer, a little watery, no fizz ... But the IPA was good. Not expextacular as read, but, again, an icon ... You have to go at least once.
M. A. R.
This place was great! Lovely food and friendly staff! The lobster rolls are to die for.. I love the nice brioche bun and the amazing sauce that comes with it.. The lobster was perfectly cooked and yummy!!
B. P.
Very expensive for a fast food but good food
Service very nice and smilling

It’s the loveliest burger and lobster restaurant cosy and I think it’s the first one that opened in London
I couldn’t give 5stars only because I thought for a Monday night not busy at all, we could hear so loud the waiter polishing the cutleries so loud that it was echoing and It would interrupt my conversation
Perhaps this comment will help to be a little more discret.
Thanks
R. O.
a premium burger place. waited for a table with the rrsst of London. was able to have some space at the bar in the end, whcih was good.. had a drink before on the long bar. kid of cosy and intimate venue.
service is good and with a smile.. staff are friendly.
A good selection of beers , ales and whiskies on offer
The burger itself was quite juicy, however would have expected a larger burger for the prices. Also not much selection on the menu. its either burger, or lobster or lobster bake, which is OK.. but not much variety of burger toppings.
overall we enjoyed the place, as we had good company, and also was a night out for us. Not really a casual burger place, more of a place to go out and spend the night.
Overall positive experience, would go there on special occasions, or for that something different
D.
Its ok... Lobster roll is good but 25£? Really? I Need 3 of the to fill me up! Anyway combo of lobster and Berger is the best option, burger fills you up, lobster as a side! Great Russian place
N. W.
Burger & Lobster offers a very simple menu; Burger or Lobster, all for the price of 20 pounds. Personally, that seems a bit steep for for a burger, so I've only ever had the lobster. It comes in various forms (Grilled, steamed and in a roll). The grilled lobster is very good, but the lobster roll is fantastic and the garlic and lemon sauce is amazing, even if it meal does leave you wanting a little bit more food if you actually were hungry.
G. O.
Went for lunch. Had the lobster brioche sandwich which is so good and highly recommended, came with fries. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Is very busy so book in advance.
R. W.
I've been twice and had fun both times, it manages to mix a bit of high end with a burger joint and pulls it off. Burgers, fries, lobster and salads all highly recommended. One star off for not being totally amazing.
J. N.
Great if you are on a diet and it was expensive. I ordered the lobster burger 25 gbp. It had a teaspoon of lobster sitting on top of a slider. Nice taste but really calling this a hamburger is a bit far fetched....

Burger and Lobster is a current cultural phenomenon in London. Packed on weeknights, weekends, and a place to enjoy a meal with your mates or some dates. It’s pricey and affordable at the same time, and fits into that little bit of luxury and fun niche that today’s world needs. 3 fantastic menu items, fun drinks, and a great atmosphere.
There’s only 3 items on the menu. Burger, Lobster, or Lobster Roll? Burger for me! This burger’s reputation preceded it so it has a lot to live up to. A 10 ounce patty of premium beef, black + white seed sesame bun, tomato, cheese, bacon, shredded lettuce, and red onion. My first impression upon receiving my burger was that it really looked the part. I was excited to take my first bite, but upon picking it up, I noticed that it was a bit hard to manage. I bit in and had a very satisfying bite of tender + juicy beef and crispy bacon. The shredded lettuce, great grind on the beef, and soft bun did wonders for the texture. The crispy bacon, sliced red onion, and rest of the flavors on the burger were great as well. I had trouble determining if there was a house sauce on top of the burger with all of the other flavors going on. I noticed I was given ketchup and mayo with the burger, however the original flavors of the burgers were enjoyable enough to need no further. My last note on taste is that the pickles were a bit sweet and I think more vinegary pickles usually pair better with beef.
While the burger was great, it was too big to make it as enjoyable as it could have been. I’m not sure if Burger and Lobster is trying to offer value against the Lobster options by making the burger as big as possible, but in this case it was too much. I have found the burger sweet spot is between 5-8 ounces of beef. With all of the toppings including the thick slice of tomato (which I’d recommend taking off) the burger was just a bit too big. Size cannot take away from flavor, but if this thing were scaled down it might be that much more enjoyable... and be sitting with the best in London. Last of all, Burger and Lobster’s fries might be the best in London and that in its own right is worth a visit.
D. E.
If going for lunch, best to book a table ahead of time - otherwise you'll be in for a wait at the bar. Menu was on the expensive side and lobster portions were small but overall food was tasty and arrived promptly after ordering . Overall, just ok
G. G.
Lobster roll is delicious, friendly staff.
j. s.
awesome quality of food n very good price for a lobster meal, however the place is always busy and the waiting time is always around 2 hours... i guess for that price everyone would give a go. small tip: can have food at bar without waiting2 hours for the table.^^
A. S.
Not clean enough, food was OK.
M. O.
Was at the Clarges Street outlet after visiting the one at BInney Street.
Had burger again cos I loved it. My wife ordered the lobster and it was great!
The food is inexpensive and great!
Highly recommended!

We had a nice dinner with good food if you like burgers and lobster 👍very delicious and the service was excellent. Well worth a visit for a informal meal.
K. R.
faced a 2 to 3 hour wait to get in the first time I tried after work, owing to the popularity of this place coupled with their no reservation policy. Managed to get a table easily when I took a day off work. Food was great and our waitress was too. Very nice restaurant.
A. N.
Excellent food, and a good buzz. Very popular, so expect to wait up to 30 minutes for a table, meanwhile enjoying a glass of Champagne at the lively bar. Excellent service by educated staff.

Went for lunch. Had the lobster brioche sandwich which is so good and highly recommended, came with fries. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Is very busy so book in advance.

Great casual dining. Always friendly staff and great food. They may not do much, but the do it well!
J. G.
Fantastic service! And awesome food! We had a lobster roll & hamburger, they both were yummy!!
E. B.
Friendly staff and a menu that, while only doing burgers and lobster as the name suggests, does them incredibly well. Juicy burgers and soft buttery lobster. Fantastic and highly recommended all round.
D. A.
Order the lobster roll, you can eat lobster without making your hands dirty. It's delicious
J. B. A.
My Favorite lobster roll in London.
Food is very tasty 😋 and fresh. …
P. V.
Amazing staff, young and beautiful, helpful and caring. We had a child with and they have nice baby chairs and being ao helpful. We feel relaxed. Big lobster, fresh and delicious, good beer too. Bang for the bucks.
S. T.
Can't go wrong with a whole lobster for £20, with delicious fries and a yummy butter sauce. They do take away too, so in the summer months, enjoy a lobster roll in the sunshine in Green Park!
T. H.
Great for lobster, good for lobster roll, but only solid enough for burger...wouldn't recommend just the burger option. If you go for the whole hog and get both it's one if the most filling meals around!
M. F.
Such a wonderful place to have the most filling and generous food at the best prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff. Great place.
R. P.
It's exactly what it says it is - great burgers and lobsters. I'd recommend ordering a full lobster, as the price for the lobster sandwich and burger is almost the same.. The service is friendly and prompt even when the restaurant is full. Go there and enjoy.
I.
Amazing Food and platter presentation.. very assertive and professional staff i only held back one star because i found the decor of restaurant to bland...
c. t.
They serve burgers and lobsters pudding cheesecake or brownie so it is easy to choose what to eat. The meal lovely staff friendly and 10% off if you complete an online survey
E. D. A. R.
Luckily we got a table the minute we entered. Nice atmosphere, good service, very good portions, excellent fries. Can't really judge the lobster, but I thought it was great ;)
Y. C.
Came here twice for the lobsters as hyped by others and it really doesn't disappoint. Grilled/Steamed Lobster with their special sauce was good and same goes to Mushroom with cheese shavings.
J. G.
Fantastic service! And awesome food! We had a lobster roll & hamburger, they both were yummy!!
M. F. M. F.
The restaurant is the smallest of B&L branches. Hence expect queues during busy hours, slower serving time and noisier environment. Nevertheless the lobsters are very consistent
S. L.
Nice food and atmosphere and service. A must go. The lobster mac and cheese is pretty good as well and worth a try!
J. S.
Good value for money, £20 for a 1.5 pounds burger with fries and salad. Quick service, but it is a little too crowded and noisy due to the low ceiling (sounds just bounce within the resto).
K. B.
If you come here order all and share half burger, roll and lobster, it's the best thing on the menu,
R.
Commenting for the good service and lovely staff
M. D.
Very nice food and lovely, chatty service love this place !!! Thank you Bruno you're the best lobster
J. K.
Very good severce and good teaste lobster and salad.
g. m.
Certainly good choice to try once. The match between meat and fish is something you would be auspicious about, and yet it works pretty well. It's something different. Unfortunately, a little too expensive for my taste, so value for money isn't great.
D. L.
Excellent servings of freshly grilled lobsters and succulent burgers. Friendly staff and their warm service will make you want to go back again.
R. C.
Very tasty food, delicious burgers and lobsters. Really worth the visit and try!
B. N.
Pretty great lobster...maybe the best I have had. Got the combo, Burger pattie was cooked perfectly and staff were top notch.
S. M.
One of the best burger i ever had
Highly recommended
F. L.
Very nice place and splendid guys, one of them is italian 😉
A. K.
First visit, exciting! Second visit, queue too long, left. Third visit, one crustacean to another, scrapping for lovely juicy smoky flesh, yumm. Fourth visit, okay we got this, hit the joint early, joint the creatures neatly, bingo.
P. M.
Don't buy the burger. Get the broiche bun unless you enjoy hacking your meal apart. Very nice but more of a one-off experience rather than a place to go back to again and again.
L. W.
Their services were very warm and prompt. There are low slung square community tables throughout the restaurant, so this isn't a place for a private, intimate conversation.I really like there food so much!
S. M.
Bit of a change from the other B&L restaurants decor wise (this feels more fancy). Same great food though and the service is very good
a. z.
good staff and nice food
G. R.
Great little place for lunch on the go, always consistent
A. S.
Not a lobster fan personally, so had the burger. Excellent. The meat patty was delicious. Not cheap, but you pay for the good quality
V. p.
I was just passing by, I looked inside, it was full, so I guess it's a good place.
A. M.
One of my favorite restaurants ever!!! Grilled lobster and a burger with a beer... every time I go to London i go to this place; yes I know it's not cheap, but it's worth every pound!!!!
H. J.
Delicious food for lobster and / or burger lovers. If you have the hunger early, more the better... You need to get here early to avoid the queues. No booing available.
C. J.
Good quality as always :)
N. S.
Very good place, Lobster was perfect!
K. H.
The burger and roll combo was amazing
a. h.
Excelente! Fab food, lovely service, nice atmosphere, great portions, delicious puddings, we will definitely come back!
M. J.
This is what it is - semi fast food at a mid range price. Not the best burger ever but decent. Lobster is good enough and garlic butter is ok too.
S.
Lobster perfectly cooked and good service
K. L.
Very lovely restaurant, amazing customer service, tastiest lobster & lobster croquettes ever!
r. c.
Great quality meat and lobster!!! Very good service as well!! A bit on the pricey side but surely a good culinary experience!! ;)
J. P.
Loved the food. The lobster was super juicy and fresh. Service was warm and friendly.
J. C.
Went to see what the hype was all about. My partner had lobster which was good but I had the burger which was too salty and overly priced. Great service and decor.
V. K.
Classic lobster roll was fantastic, fresh & juicy. Service was friendly, and he was surprised how quickly we finished all the food
R. C.
Who doesn't like a bit of Burger or Lobster. Not pretentious, friendly staff, fast service and you can't book a table so you can always eat there so long as your happy to wait a little while.
L. P.
Easy & fast, I got best burger around.
T. S.
Pricey, but delicious burgers and lobster. Just be informed that it is literally just burgers and lobster (and chips).
Expect to spend £20+ per person and enjoy a good meal.

The first of its kind, a GLP interactive review. Fill in the blanks in the comments if you’ve got the knowhow…
This review is incomplete and I’m sorry about that, I really am. But not to worry, it’s all about sharing now isn’t it? Collaboration. Community. So what I thought I’d do, no, we would do, if you’re pinterested, is write the review together. Like when Kofi Annan got the muppets to all sing the Alphabet song. Exactly like that. So, I’ll write the bits I know about and leave gaps which you can fill in using the comment box that the they tell me is located due south of this article. Remember Due South? God I loved that show.
The gentleman on the door looked like a Victorian convict. Charm wasn’t going to work here. Fluttering eyelashes were a no go. I considered thrusting my emergency pair of breasts forward, but decided against it. He might have had a cosh about his person. In the end my friends and I gave our names and joined the queue along Clarges Street. A man in an impossibly soft shawl-collared cashmere affair arrived, looked at the queue, snorted in disgust, gathered something leggy and blonde onto the back of his scooter and disappeared in a cloud of dust and cologne.
Eventually we were seated in a booth by the window and were glared at by those outside waiting to come in. The rest of the interior was part chalet, part diner – bespoke made luminaries hang, oak beams beam, copper wall mounted coat rails are trenchcoat ready. Apparently there’s the biggest lobster tank in Europe in the basement – and no you can’t pick your victim. We ordered cocktails. I can’t speak for the others, but the martini was as clean and as strong as a freshly bathed Taylor Kitsch.
The waitress, with the assuredness of a house games mistress, talked us through the menu which consisted of three things. A lobster (broiled, grilled, or broiled then finished on the grill), a lobster roll, or a burger. I ordered the first, but I hear the others are ___1___.
Eating lobster can sometimes be a tricky business. It can be slapped down in front of you angry looking and impenetrable. You’re handed the sort of implements you’d expect to find in a Spanish Inquisitor’s pencil case and left to wrestle with it.
No such problem here. Within minutes of its death, my crustacean was put in front of me freshly broken up and utterly available. Even the claws were pre cracked, though actually this ended up being a little vexing, since one was cracked too far along and it didn’t come with a cracker thing (technical term) to do the honours myself. But the meat was perfect and could be doused in melted butter that came in a little boat. It was a perfectly indecent drooling, dripping gustatory orgy. The creature came with two additions. Chips, that were lovely, and a salad.
I sat back, removed my bib (oh, they provide bibs, did I mention?) and surveyed the disjecta membra of the meal. Replete, but not engorged, I asked what was on for pudding. Again, the options were limited. Either a sort of uncooked cheesecake or ___2___. The first was a paper pot of sweet gloop, shot through with vanilla. A casual assembly but it hit the spot.
In summary, it’s lobster and it’s Mayfair, and at around £20 for food—not including drinks, though why wouldn’t you?—it’s worth it. We’d only have spent the money on ___3___.
Open Monday to Saturday, 12 to 10:30pm (last orders).
Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. No Reservations.
N. R.
Love the food here.. however down side with this one is the bar stool type seating which is mega uncomfortable, long queue times when busy and virtually no phone signal
A. M.
Always great food and service!
D. B.
We had great night! Our waitress Camilla , she was super friendly, and explain everything about the menu!
H. L.
Have visited occasionally across a few years frame. Food is consistent and staff are helpful. Really loved it!
C. L.
This branch has very tasty food! Tried both - combo and it's great to actually have both!!! Would go again and do recommend to others.
A. A.
This branch is a must try even if u tried burger and lobster before it’s the first branch that opened in london and it’s very special !! Lobster roll is my fav.
D. S.
Friendly staff and great food
E. K.
Best lobster roll I've ever had. Definitely a must if you ever find yourself in Central London.
N. D.
You either take these lobster or a burger. Personally I wouldn't know why you would order the latter :-). Overall great concept. Service was very good.
L. T.
Very expensive, but tasty burgers. Meat is a little tough, so if you're not coming for the lobster experience, there's no point.
