Good service and really good food. The burgers are really delicious and the onion rings are to die for. The kind of greasy, crunchy onion rings that you know will make you fat but it's totally worth it xD

The best burgers in the city, vegan options available - Truffler burger is my favourite. The only minus is the staff, every time we come to this Byron there is some kind of confusion. It's like the waiters don't communicate between each other - they bring food to wrong tables, mix up orders or just hurry with no sense.

As this was a chain wasn't sure what to expect but they make a pretty dam good burger. Well cooked if you want it cooked through or pink. The staff will do what they can to get you seated fast and served efficiently. I had to add also the coleslaw is fantastic.

Popped into Byron Burgers before going to the Shaftesbury Theatre to see & Juliet. The hamburger was really good and the milkshake too but best of all was the great waiter who served us....go there for no other reason. It was fine - the little tables opposite the kitchen are a little too close together so you'll bother/be bothered by whomever sits behind you. Waiter was quite persistent to get us to order but not as fast getting drinks to the table, perhaps it was an off day or they were short staffed. Surprisingly busy for a Monday.

Visited this place yesterday early evening before visiting Shaftesbury Theatre opposite. The staff are rushed off their feet . They are very busy and extremely polite. Despite all the covid restrictions.The food chosen was delivered extremely quickly the burgers cooked to your desired flavour. The onion rings were out of this world. The chips and halloumi fries all nicely cooked. The food was amazing extremely generous portions and very satisfying and filling. The chocolate brownies awesome. The portion was just enough. Well done Byron.

Sat outside and the waiting staff were very attentive throughout. Asked about allergies and gave us a menu that listed all the allergens in all the food and drinks. Ordered food in confidence, knowing we knew what we were getting. Food was glorious and for the prices, you can't go wrong. A definite recommendation.

One of the best burgers I've had it was lush. Service was excellent too as the waiter was very conscious that we were going to a show so tries to get us served as quick as possible without being pushy.

The food was great but the service was terrible. I mistakenly forgot to order a gluten free bun on my burger. Granted that is my fault. Less than two minutes after I ordered I went back to the server to ask if he could change the bun to which he paused and said “no” then walked off. It would have been easy for him to walk to the kitchen and explain the error I had made. Additionally, I ordered wings which never came and I asked for them to be removed off of my bill. Trying to get the bill was a nightmare as there were no staff around and it was the same rude guy who has served me before. Minus having a bad stomach today because of the bun, the food was delicious. Staff need better education of how to treat customers!

Very cool hipster atmosphere! The service was quite good, as the waiters were very attentive. The food that I receive was “okay”. It wasn’t great, but it was far from bad. The salad that I received lacked much dressing, when compared to the size of the actual dish. I’m sure that had it had enough dressing and hadn’t been so dry, I’m sure that I would have given this place a 5/5.

The locale is very spacious, high ceilings and the outdoor space. Delightful staff and service rather fast, but the burger ended up being dry. I like my burger medium well, so it's properly dead, and I can't hear the "mooo" from it. Cheese and cheese fries are my thing, and this time, my soul food failed me. It could be a one time off, so I'll make sure to come back and fry again. It wasn't crowded, and it was easy to pick a great place to sit. My friend had a "skinny" chicken burger with courgette fries and found that the portion was too small and two lettuce leaves made the burger too skinny 🤣

That was my first time tonight at the Byron Proper Burger restaurant and I went with a vegan friend. She was able to eat a burger and even had the choice between five or six if I'm not mistaken and it was all soooo good! Just fries with cheese and a BBQ beef burger were more than enough, they were so filling and just plain awesome. For dessert, I didn't fancy any of theirs so I just grabbed an amazing donut from Crosstown, just try them in Soho after your dinner! ❤️

Byron burguer it's very good . Just be aware that for those "burguer purists" it does have a dressing . Sweet potatos are good and they have a great variety, even vegan plates. They also pour local beers and the place is nice. Portions and the right size for a shared dessert afterwards.

Hello. Allergies? Er, no. Table for two? Yes. You know what drinks? Er, can we sit first? Ok. We look at the drinks menu. The waiter returns. Allergies? Er, no. Ok, what drinks? Two margaritas please. Margaritas come. It looks like apple juice. An ice cube melts as if global warming has hit its peak. She tastes it. 😝🍋 Wow, that’s sour. Waiter returns. Ready? Ready. Allergies? Er, no. What do you want? Can I get the gluten free bun — allergy?! NO. Food comes, food is good.

We went with a group of 14 people. We ordered drinks and food. I can understand that the staff was totally lost with who asked for what and how many they already server or rather not served. Food was actually dumped and not served to us. The burgers on some plates were delivered with a pieces ingredients all over the plate, so it was burger for DIY. I visited Byron in different locations and my experience was much better. Place like that, located in Central London, should be ready for serving larger groups.

Service charge had been added and then they asked if I wanted to leave a gratuity?? ummm, no! Would not vidit again, super expensive and no customer service doesn't make a decent Mac and cheese worthwhile IMO

A very tasty branch of Byron. Staff were too friendly, made you feel at home. The manager even sat at the table and took the order. Everything was very tasty. They even made the Mac and cheese balls again for us as we never realised they were served topped with bacon. The downside of our experience, very poor seating for big groups and that they ran out of some of the starters and drinks options.

Best Bryon branch in London. Staff are super friendly and the food is consistently GREAT!!! A lovely clean branch as well as a great spot to people watch from 😂 loads of seating available both inside and out and Literally in a vibrant part of central london ( a few mins walk from Holborn station and local to covent garden) Literally nothing bad to say about this branch. Highly recommended for burger lovers. 🍔 Oreo milkshake is also DELICIOUS plus the sweet potato fries 🤩

Lovely quiet atmosphere, good price for the money, and very good food. I ordered a burger, fries, and a milkshake and they were all perfect. They asked how I wanted my burger, and they cooked it perfectly. Milkshake was one of the best I've ever had. Seeing the £5.25 price tag for the milkshake was a bit off-putting, but when I received it it was very generous in size and definitely worth the price. Great service friendly service, though the bill took a little longer to arrive than I'd like, about 5 minutes after we asked for it, and it wasn't very busy so that seemed like a while.

Pretty expensive, American-style tipping is kind of weirdly forced on you. I have no problem with tipping but please calm down about it! Waiter is constantly in your face. But by god are the burgers lovely! Shakes aren't bad either, and the location and space is beautiful.

It's a Byron, so you know what you're getting. The burgers are nice and tasteful, the milkshakes are tick and creamy, and the sweet potato chips are excellent. I would have given 5 Stars if it felt a little more welcoming. The placed seemed a little cold, but the staff were friendly.

Bit pricy but they've got to be the tastiest burgers I've had for years, really attentive staff, one guy was beyond apologetic when he forgot our order (he knows who he is ;)). So tasty we went back next day. Remember when McDonald's used to make really thick strawberry milkshakes that could barely go through the straw? Now they're like foam & gone in a flash, well Byron strawberry milkshakes are nicer than those of McDonald's past.

Popped in here last night for a quick bite to eat mainly because I wouldn't eat in my hotel. It has to be said that the burger was very good indeed but the chips that accompanied it were on the cold side which was a shame. The restaurant itself was chilly too, I didn't take my coat off whilst I was there. Staff were attentive though.

The service was particularly good (but I think that’s because one of my compatriots was flirting so intensely with the waitress - they even parted ways with a hug) and the burgers rarely disappoint at Byron. The problem is the prices have now got a bit bonkers. If you pay £15 for a burger, you probably shouldn’t have to pay extra for sweet potato fries. Obviously my pal made this point to the waitress, but I don’t think she took it seriously, she was too busy swooning.

A bit of a strange building but no problem. The staff were super friendly and the music was good. Even though it was packed and they got one of our orders wrong, it was still tasty and we didn't complain but I don't doubt they would have accommodated us if we did. Classic Byron experience. The food was very nice but it did take a long time to get our order placed as this is one of those chains that seems to be perpetually short-staffed. I had the special Cheesemas burger which definitely lived up to its lactose-heavy name, while my wife opted for a selection of sides. I've always enjoyed Byron no matter which branch, but it's always nice and never incredible. Worth a shot if you've never been.

A cool, modern, 'city-slicker' version of your standard Byron joint. A decent-sized patio as well! We had a bit of trouble on a windy day (the paper menus, napkins and plate-liners are not wind-friendly!), but were still happy to take in the sunshine. Service was not the most friendly but was super fast and my burger was juicy and delicious (just the standard Bacon Cheeseburger is so good - why spend the inflated price on the fancy burgers when the basic is awesome?). In general, I find Byron Burger to be overpriced, even if the product is as good as it is. A good place for a quick lunch if you've just passed pay day.

Love love the Byron burgers :) The new menu has an avacado version that is amazing! I prefer the courgette fries and Chipotle mayo dip. I went on a weekday and outside of December they have an excellent lunch menu, only £10 for meal. Sarah is very efficient and made my pre Xmas meal experience one to positively remember, thank you!

Burgers and fries were as expected although the crushed Avocado had been crushed so much it had almost disappeared! Standard and consistent. If you want a shout down budget place that serves good snacks and beer to complement your burger and fries then look no further, and if you are to look further you would probably just see another Byron as they are bloody everywhere now. I still think that shake shack ll has the best burger though. I also feel kind of funny about burgers and fries being sit down restaurant food. Burgers are junk food not gourmet and when they are treated and sold as unhealthy dirty nuggets of loveliness they tend to taste better. Booyah!

Went to Byron only because it was very local to the shaftsbury theatre and I have to say that we couldn't have chosen a better place to stop. We had been cycling round London all day and needed a good feed. The burgers were excellent. The staff were very friendly. The courgette chips were amazing as were the fickles (fried pickles). When I asked for a sparkler in my wife's burger for her birthday they instead came with a chickadee brownie with ice cream and sang happy birthday as well. 10/10 for service. We will definitely return one day.

This one is great with floor to ceiling glass window looking out to the walk way on a business area and other restaurants. The service is great, very friendly staff and good timing of food. A little pricey but that's the price of a good burger in London!

a solid hamburger joint in london. as a lover of the "hamburger" i was quite impressed with Byron. the menu was a bit limited so you really want to go there for the burgers. i had their signature Byron burger which came topped with cheese, bacon and their special sauce. the size was perfect for me - not too big (america) or small (japan) and it tasted very good. the only thing i personally would have liked would have been a toasted bun. the group shared an assortment of fried sides including chips, fries and onion rings - all done proper and crisp. overall, if ur looking for a solid burger in a nice atmosphere, Byron is a great bet.
