We had a lovely breakfast today at this vibrant and trendy spot. The food was so healthy-tasting and delicious and I fell in love with the decor.
We were served by a charming man called Janik who couldn’t do enough for us. He knew where all the food was sourced and educated us about Germany too!!! We had a wonderful experience eating here.
W. A.
We had a lovely dinner on Friday night here, we booked in advance and our table was comfy! We ordered pizzas and dumplings, they were lovely! The service was great, we felt very welcomed and were looked after well! Shoutout to Justyna and the staff that worked on that night, it was a great night and we had such a good time! We would definitely recommend! Thank you!!
S. O.
Eggs were a beautiful golden colour - no filter on the photo. Caramel hot chocolate rich flavour, nothing overpriced.
A. C.
Good place to catch up with friends, or go on a date! They have amazing scrambled eggs. Apparently this is Tom Daley’s favourite brunch spot?
M. P.
Great experience! Lovely atmosphere. People are very welcoming, accommodating and helpful-despite nothing a reservation we were quickly showed to the table. On the menu there was a selection of delicious options, accommodating for all sorts of cravings.Food arrived momentarily and was simply delicious.

I enjoyed ,grilled mushrooms, mashed avocado, grilled tomato and fried up eggs on a sour bread toast accompanied by cold pressed, fruit juice.
But my son a bit moaned about the merges and eggs dish, said a bit too much of meat or something.
But over all good upper market restaurant with fair price.
N. N.
Avocado madness. Couldn't even see the bread 🍞 poached egg made in heaven.
Great taste. Super yummy and healthy. Make sure to be mentally free for this experience!
Get the apple juice 🧃🧃🧃
Really friendly staff and service.

Nice atmosphere and good service however the quantity didn't match the cost of what we paid for breakfast... Portions are on the small size and we're lacking a bit of flavour... Nothing wrong at all with the place or the food, perhaps I was expecting a little bit more from the place. Pancakes lacked syrup and the traditional English brekky (it had a different name) consisted of just one sausage, one bacon rash, 2 eggs and 2 mushrooms on one single toast, I don't know for the price paid I expected a bit more
S. E.
Excellent food in the form of small plates - great for sharing in a group. Service a little slow and a couple of drinks were missed.
N. H.
Nice lively atmosphere, super friendly and kind staff. Took a awhile to get our order but it was a busy weekend. Food was really nice. Make sure to book in advance especially if coming in group (basically more than 2!). Good for group gatherings.

I really loved the place, the food and the service, however a little overcrowded. The food tasted very fresh and was not too expensive. It is a good spot for brunch and does not require booking in advance. Definitely recommend.
J. D.
Food tasty and service very friendly. Jambon croquettes were to die for, and the salmon grain bowl very yummy - could do with more sauce or a side of a nice soy based dressing to tie it together. The broccoli plate also looked very tasty.
We did see a waiter pouring glasses of tap water back into the jug which appeared to be popped straight back on the bar, but hopefully we were mistaken and this was washed first. An error with the bill was swiftly rectified and staff were very helpful.

The food here is incredible. I am not the best for healthy eating but they managed to make even cauliflower moreish! We came as a large group and the staff were extremely patient and accomodating. Very reasonable costs for London too. Lovely atmosphere!
S. D.
Wonderful flavoursome food. Great for brunch or dinner. I came for breakfast with a friend on Sunday morning and we loved it. Then I was able to have dinner there with friends before the theatre on a Friday night and it was delicious.

This is a little gem tucked away from the bustling crowds.
A beautiful looking restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious (recommend the baked eggs)
There is outside seating too.
Definitely going back!
D. B.
It's great. Great food - good mix of vegetarian and meat based dishes. Nice drink selection. Great environment and excellent, attentive, but not annoying staff. I can't wait to take my wife there.

Been there just before Christmas.
Lovely food as always. Special shout out to fantastic Sasha who made sure the team looked after the little one as well.
Would be great if there was a special menu catered to toddlers and kids in general.
M. B.
Service was amazing, food was great. the lighting and the music were perfect.
we all had a smashing night and we’ll definitely recommend it to families and friends. I truly enjoy dining at your venue, it was an outstanding experience.
J. S.
Amazing menu. Kimchi Pancakes were delicious with side of lamb sausages an almost perfect breakfast!! The smoothies and shakes are amazing with good coffee too.
Good and attentive service with.

Really nice atmosphere here. The vibes are great to chill with a cup of coffee, hangout with friends or even do some work on your laptop. The food is great as well so don't miss out!

We had a brunch on Saturday with friends and absolutely loved the food. the pancakes were delicious not to mention the excellent vibe that we felt when arrived. We will certainly return
O. D.
Popped in last Friday for a quick coffee on our way from the Tate Modern with couple of friends visiting the town but decided to stay for dinner and it was definitely a good decision! Drinks super appealing and food delicious. We had a mix of vegetarians and meat lovers dining and everyone was happy with the selection. We tried the lamb meatballs, cod dumplings, crispy tofu to start with then followed by duck salad (wow), roasted cod, and couple of vegetarian pizzas. All super delicious! Big thanks to Ruta who made our night extra enjoyable with her top service and drinks suggestions. Will definitely be back!
J. C.
Had a lovely experience here last weekend for brunch. We were served by the friendly waiter Sasha on a very busy Saturday. He was fantastic and very attentive. 100% will be returning and recommending to friends to visit. Also the restaurant itself is beautiful, with a lovely vibe.
A. S.
Prepare for an upscale brunch. Inventive options of classic dishes, great coffee, friendly service. Gets very busy after 11AM, so come early. If you have to try one dish, try the pancake, absolutely amazing.
A. C.
Great food but very poor service. Only 3 out of 4 drinks arrived (1 of which was the wrong drink) and we had to ask several times for the fourth drink which then arrived after other people had finished their drinks and had food. Only 3 out of 4 brunch dishes arrived also, and we had to ask again and wait for the 4th to be brought.
A. P.
The staff here was super friendly! It was quite a busy night, we tried a few dishes to share and the food was really tasty. Good coffee as well (espresso that tastes like an espresso instead of dirty water). Fried tofu dish was delicious (non vegans said it tasted like cheese so that sounds positive?).
A. N.
Great spot. Looked really nice inside but we sat outside. Proper little sun trap. Dogs were allowed outside, didn’t ask about sitting in. The brunch had lots of choice, fresh and tasty.
K. M.
Had a great time, such a nice ambience, has a great size, just enough not to feel cramped, but not big enough for the staff to be too busy.
The waitresses were very attentive, and the food was delicious.
B.
My table had a few ordering issues but the restaurant handled it well. Personally I think the issues weren’t that big a deal so apologies to the staff. Awesome place, service, and food. Would return.
박.
All servers are nice and kind. And dishes are also good but beverage is not so good for us. It's unique and very healthy taste.
M. W.
Had the best time at Caravan for lunch today! Reasonable prices, friendly stuff and great food. Can't wait to take all my work colleagues back
I. A.
We arrived without a booking and they managed to seat us within 15min. Very lively atmosphere and busy (to be expected on a Saturday morning). The food was great as always, can’t go wrong with a veggie fry-up!
S. M.
It was a nice and quiet during breakfast and the coffee was amazing, so we ended up having two. The food was good as well.
L. P.
I came here on a Monday for brunch. Their service was friendly and the space seemed to be very clean. A very popular place for friends to meet and business meetings - a lot of opportunity for the people watchers! The food came quickly and was pretty tasty though I found my sausage to be a bit over spiced for my taste. In terms of value for quantity.. I feel that it was a bit over priced - therefore loss of a star (£24 for one breakfast plus a muffin and orange juice)..
B. D.
An amazing place for brunch. The most delicious pancakes I’ve ever eaten. Super friendly staff. We were served by Maria. She made sure everything was perfect and her service was top-notch!
R. A.
We had a very enjoyable evening at Caravan. The food was innovative and delicious. The setting was very nice and comfortable. I chose bartender's choice for my cocktail and have to say it was one of the best I have had in years.
We had a delicious desert that was quite unlike anything we have had before. It was Keffir Lime mousse. Absolutely lovely

Very nice place, excellent choice for brunch. Food and coffee are both super good. They also have Jarr kombucha, which is the best.
E. T.
Photos look a lot more fancy then the actual place. Still decent place. Had christmas menu. Starters were not great but the mains were good. Staff looked new.

Good coffee and everyone is very friendly! Went for brunch for 5 people and everyone enjoyed their food and coffees

Only had a coffee here. Nice restaurant though.. Staff were pleasant!

Had a fantastic brunch here today for my MIL's 70th birthday. The food was delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful (also let us bring our own birthday cake)! The building itself is light and spacious; a nice place to have a meal.
The only hard part was choosing what to have, as all the dishes sounded very interesting! The jalapeno cornbread was a winner!
H. A. M.
Casual and relaxed ambiance and atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. We came here for breakfast. Good selection and tasteful items. It is a bit far so it is very good if one is in the neighborhood.

Arrived on a Sunday around noon - got seated after around 30mins wait. slightly noisy but cool ambiance and vibes. There were so many unique options on the menu that I wanted to try but in the end I couldn’t make up my mind and ended up ordering some good old poached eggs with roasted tomatoes and portobello on the side. No regrets as they were outstandingly flavourful. The “freshly squeezed” juices we ordered were disappointingly watered down with way too much ice. I also saw them poured out from huge plastic jugs which I assume was made in batches hopefully not too long ago but I don’t think we can call that “freshly squeezed” and priced at 4.5£. The real disappointment was the 10£ (excluding 12.5% service fee) buttermilk pancakes that came way smaller than expected with barely anything on them. Too dry and dense. They offered more sauce and syrup immediately when I shared my feedback but it’s just not worth the price (or calories!)
Overall I’d say this is a great choice for brunch if you stick to the savoury dishes and if you made a reservation in advance. Staff and service was really good and friendly.
J. J.
Incredible coffee, excellent service! One morning I casually mentioned I didn’t like the sausage and they took it off the bill, and made sure the chef had my feedback. I’ve loved everything on the menu - the baked eggs are fab, avocado toast is a staple, and the jalapeño corn bread is a real treat!
N. C.
Wonderful experience, Sasha our waiter was very personable - kept my four year old entertained, offered blankets to keep him warm. Pancakes are a must order! Thank you for the experience - we’re be back!
V. C.
Had a great brunch here! The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend the scrambled eggs they were perfect.

We were so pleased by visiting Caravan. The food and drinks are playful and lovely. We ordered cocktail yuzu flower, food for stilton peanut wonton, Jamon & smoked San Simon croquette, tomato mozzarella and basil pizza, burrata with sunflower seeds and pesto. All the dishes has its own character, fresh and delicious. Our staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our time dining and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely recommending this place and we’ll be back :-)
J. P.
Great food, blankets, umbrella to shade us from the rain and lovely complimentary limoncello shots for my boyfriend's birthday - also the manager came out to say hello which was great.
A good vibe - recommend :)
M. L.
Beautiful decor and attentive staff. One of the few places I've found in London where you can sit for a coffee in the evening. Tasty deserts, too.
G. R.
♿️✅Wheelchair accessible via chair escalator at the front, easy seating at the tale as well with loads of room.
Great brunch selection here, quite a decent selection off of the menu for average to high prices, staff can take a while to get to you but it was worth it! I had the pork hash and it was great, probably a bit on the small portion size though so I had to order a side.
Remember to click like if you thought my review was helpful, thanks! :)
A. L.
Great breakfast! The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean. We went twice! My favorite was toast with smashes avocado with poached eggs!
T. B.
Good food. Portion size on the pancakes is way too small compared to their other dishes sadly however.
R. N.
I will give this resturant a 5 star, what a marvellous exprience. I meet a Manager name, Guss. He made us feel so welcomed during quite a busy peak time at the Caravan Bankside. The food was great, the small plates were good tapa's an d quite fulling. A deifnite YES from me to return. Great Exprience and Friendly staff who care about service!
V. C.
Loved my brunch here! Great friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. Delicious food. I would highly recommend coming here for brunch.
H. S.
The coffee here is excellent, if expensive. They know how to pull shots of expresso that are almost buttery in taste. Saying that it is a little disorganised and on the expensive side. If you like your coffee then you will likely enjoy this though.
Warning if starbucks et al is what you consider to be great coffee the subtlety of this my not be what you are looking for. If you know there is more out there and want to find out, give it a go. You will not be disappointed as the coffee is great, the experience was lacking that 5 star level though.

Was in the area looking for drinks and came across Caravan, really nice restaurant/bar. Ended up sitting at the bar as the place was very busy, our server Sasha was very helpful and advised on some drink choices.
R. W.
Cannot fault the service and food here. Even for a busy Friday morning staff were incredibly attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and the morning kimchi bun was an ingenious selection from the baked goods counter. Reminds me of the great brunch places in Melbourne!
s. D. A.
Lovely little place for lunch near Southwark station. I had the aubergine with eggs it was delicious. The venue is accessible for wheelchair users entrance has lift. Staff were friendly and we got a table without reserving waited 20 minutes to be seated on a Sunday. Would return.
Y. K.
Good coffee and everyone is very friendly! Went for brunch for 5 people and everyone enjoyed their food and coffees

Went to this restaurant this morning. Lovely food, great atmosphere and Mara, our waitress, was very helpful. Definitely will visit again.
H. P.
Nice open-plan restaurant with plenty of lunch and brunch options. We got a few sharing plates and loved all of them. The ingredients were fresh, the staff friendly, and the service prompt. Worth a visit if you’re in the neighbourhood.
V. B.
Celebrated one of our friends’ birthday here. The atmosphere was nice. The breakfast menu was good. One dish that was a bit disappointing was the base of their sourdough pizza.
E. N.
Had a breakfast today, everything was fine, service and food were ok. Except chorizo hash where they included 5 small pieces of the sausage and full plate of potato.
Price is too high for such portions.
Also donation is included in bills without your permission.

(Revised on 7/26)
Must visit, period.
Must try:
- Jalapeno Cornbread
- Salmon Salad
- Ginger cayene shot
- Filtered Coffee
Good toast with avocado and pickles. The ginger/cayene/tumeric shot is amazing. Great services!
Coffee was so so, but maybe it was just the beans. I will go back and try again. I came back on 7/26 to try the jalapeno cornbread and salmon salad. These dishes are amazing! The coffee I had is much better than my previous visit.
T. L.
Treat yourself to a weekend brunch plate full of flavour in this former metal box factory located in Bankside. The brunch is absolutely delicious with inventive ingredient combinations.
A. N.
Great spot! Perfect outside seating area as well as an ambient interior space. Went for brunch with a friend, we both had pancakes - they tasted great and the portion size was good. Overall a great experience!
P. R.
Good food, alright service, they gave me the wrong drink but gave me another free one straight away without asking
R. K.
Caravan always does a great brunch but this was the first dinner I've had at one of their establishments. Lots of great small starter plates which worked well for sharing as we were a group of 7 and catered to everyone's various dietary restrictions. Booked for 6 outside and when I called to change it to 7 they said it was fine but didn't mention they would just be squeezing a chair in as there are no bigger tables outside. Managed fine though and the wait staff were very helpful and friendly. It's a big menu so whether you want a quick sourdough pizza or a three course feast, Caravan has you covered.
H. T.
This cafe really reminds me of cafes in Sydney. Amazing coffee and food! It’s a bit out of the way but definitely worth the trek if you’re into good brunch foods and Aussie style coffee.
R. W.
We had a very pleasant meal and drinks at Caravan. The food was excellent and we were waitressed by the wonderful Mara who was attentive and delightful.
C.
Service was lovely and had the option to sit at the bar for a more relaxed brunch! (So many of the staff here had the most gorgeous tattoos too!)
The food tasted great however felt a little overpriced. The waffle I had definitely needed more cream or sauce as it was a little dry towards the end when they ran out. The Avocado on Toast my partner had was a wonderful recipe and had some great ingredients to make it feel special and different, however it was such a tiny tiny portion (As can be seen in the photo)! Really should have been double the amount!
We did still have a lovely time and hope to return for dinner someday to have the pizzas, but might give it a miss for brunch!
S. O.
Such a lovely brunch spot!
Raj and his team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The service was spot on and the food matched it!
Highly recommend the Hotcake with bacon 🐖
J. R.
Staff were friendly and very helpful with an onion allergy. The service was very quick, probably had our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The coffee was nice although I wasn’t a fan of the milk. They do offer dairy plus various non dairy milks. The menu looks delicious and there were multiple things I wanted to try. I went with the chia pudding and it was huge. Amazing value for money as for £6 you would normally get about a third of what was served. Place was comfy and relaxing
M.
Great place for brunch! The music was amazing, with a mix of hip hop and R&B from the 90s. Definitely a hip place and the food and drinks are great too!
Definitely recommended👌🏼
C. C.
Love it! A regular stop for brekkie and brunch! Had tried various dishes. It gets busy so book it or arrive early! You should add to your list!!
s. s.
Nice place, very loud. Staff very nice and attentive. Food ok, but nothing to rave about.
B. H.
Nice atmosphere, lots of space, good for chatting to people. Interesting menu. Sea bass coconut curry was very tasty. Recommended.
A. L.
Had breakfast here, soy flat white was lovely and strong and not much froth like some places, which is how they should be. The aubergine with poached eggs and merguez sausage was also very good but just for information the purée is cold. You also get some flatbread which is handy to mop up all the sauce.
G. S.
Excellent small plates lunch, lots of variety and excited flavours. Friendly, efficient staff. We will be back.
R.
Nice breakfast, and lovely atmosphere. Came here and had mashed avocado, it was tasty but not the best I had, especially for the price you pay. My friend had vanilla waffles, which looked ok but didn't seem like it had much on it. Overall it was nice but overpriced. The staff were nice and we got served pretty quickly.
E. K.
Fantastic food and service. Our waitress Mara was very friendly and did an excellent job
S. K.
Comfy indoor and outdoor seating. Bit pricey ££. Good sized portions. Very tasty food. Not halal Would recommend.
G. W.
Really cool space, big windows, lots of natural light. We had brunch (scrambled eggs & sausage on toast, sprouts & kraut bowl) & the food was excellent, good options, prepared with care. We tried both espresso options in long blacks - quite different and both delicious, well balanced & smooth. Warm spiced milk drink was intense and interesting. Natural Nicaraguan filter on kalita was tasty. I needed to store a wheelchair while we ate, the staff were super helpful and proactive to make our experience pleasant & easy. Everyone was really friendly and professional. Im only temporarily needing the wheelchair, but it seems like the space is very accessible too.
N. H.
Beautiful modern place for having a great and healthy breakfast. They offer a great variance of hearty or sweet breakfast dishes for everybody’s taste.
P. B.
Always reliable, great food and service. Get there early on weekend mornings if you want a seat straightaway. I love the poached eggs on the jalapeño cornbread pictured here.
E. K.
Great brunch place - coffee was smooth and the dishes were yummy! Ana was a true professional, lovely!
S. T.
I visited Caravan Bankside for breakfast with some family.
The inside of the restaurant is very smart looking and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The service we received was really friendly and helpful.
I ordered the grain pancake with maple marscapone and was not disappointed - it was really delicious but a bit different (and better, in my opinion) than the standard kind of pancakes one might find around. I was very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely be returning soon!
J. P.
Great food and great service!! Good coffee and wine bar if you don't want any food, good brunch! :)
T. l.
Place to be on sunday brunches . had my family over and form the start until the end only great energy and delicious food . well done Great Team too
M. B.
I’ve been to Caravan a few times in different locations and the Bankside one doesn’t disappoint. More seating than most of the restaurants, and it’s a fairly beautiful interior. The food is delicious and they have an allergens menu that shows absolutely everything in each meal (even things like sulphur dioxide - be still my beating heart!) so you can be 100% sure your meal is intolerant friendly.
K. P.
Was really delicious pizza!! and very kind staff (Mara)really enjoyed here and highly recommend this place before visiting Tate modern
M. A.
Janik was an incredible waiter. Food was incredible and drinks are amazing. Chef margaritas are the one!
E. L.
The brunch here was absolutely on point, the dish with pork belly and kimchi pancake was one of the best korean fusion dishes i've eaten in ages. Cornbread main is great as well. Do also try the kimchi bun! Its savoury
One star off because i came back for lunch and it honestly just wasn't nearly as good.
V. N.
Excellent food and service! We were very pleased with our meal: sea bass in coconut red curry and pork schnitzel. Even though we found it slightly expensive, we highly recommend it to food lovers.
N. Y.
very fun waitresses and waitors. the spicy tofu is a must try (i stole some from my friend)
S. C.
Beautiful dishes during lunch. My bf had the kimchi pancakes with slow roasted pork. He found the meat so tender and moisty. I had a small cute pan with eggs, tomato, sausages with flat bread on the side. A warmy, comfort plate of food that filled my belly good. Nice, industrial ambience. It was nearby our hotel and a great start of the day. It is a popular place as it was getting busy after 11 AM.
Y. C.
Great Brunch place with a diverse menu and tasty dishes. Only giving 4 stars as service was inattentive, took 10 minutes to order, forgot orders and not to mention requesting the bill.
E. P.
Brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic coffee and top notch service. Good choices for me as vegan. Crispy chilli tofu was amazing.
M. S.
In my experience, great place for lunch and even better for coffee.
5 stars for very kind, knowledgeable and attentive staff (we sat at the counter which helped) with good food. I had the jalepeno cornbread with eggs and chipotle dressing and it was just right. The coffee we had was Kenyan; staff served it in a beaker and recommended to drink it without milk to taste the flavors. It got fruitier as it cooled and was strong.
J. O. C.
Great selection of brunch and meals, plus (but not least) a decently executed coffee and smoothies menu. Industrial but airy/spacious decor. A bit out of the trodden path but well worth of you're in the vicinity.
A. F.
Tasty healthy food, a decent drinks list, good service and a nice atmosphere. Great place for post work dinner/drinks.
M. D.
Janik was the star of my experience. His demeanour, beyond welcoming. His interaction, beyond affable. Janik was incredible.

I love this place and I couldn’t wait to eat. Great menu, great food, great service. Expect to queue in peak times. Definitely go visit!
B.
It's not the same as Exmouth Market or even Kings Cross, it looks the same but doesn't have the same vibe, the food didn't hit any highs, pizza was soggy, the salad needed more seasoning, that said the service was friendly and it would be ok if your going to the chocolate factory (much better than hixter anyway). But I'm still glad it is here and I'll come again to see if the food gets back to the origins of fresh clean flavours and ingredients of Exmouth Market. To be continued...
A. R.
Went there on a weekend around 11am and was lucky to get a table right away. The food was pretty good, well priced, though the service was a little slow. Will likely go back.
P. C.
Caravan London Bridge is so much more than it looks. At first glance a cute coffee shop but has now served me as a top dinner spot with family and another time as a fun place for cocktails after work. Nia, the waitress has to be one of the most genuine and lovely people I’ve ever met let alone to be served by. A couple of times she even came over with something she had over heard us contemplating asking for (water and a blanket) we literally didn’t even have to ask. Food tastes great too!
J. B.
Nice food, reasonably priced, good vibe. Would definitely come back.
D. A.
Only had a coffee here. Nice restaurant though.. Staff were pleasant!

this was the second time I visited Caravan, for a large group booking. Already a big fan of the Kings Cross original, I was pleased to discover there was going to be one closer to home. The service was great and there was only a very slight delay between the first meals being served and the last (we were a group of 20, had ordered a variety of dishes, this was more than acceptable). We were there for a 30th Birthday and the staff were most accommodating to the many bags and even took some group photos for us.

We had lovely dinner here last night ! Fab atmosphere and delicious food . Would definitely recommend
L. K.
lovely staff, super nice vibe, awesome food, and great restaurant -had a really nice time
M. E.
Excellent as usual. Love that there is a caravan south of the river. Location is a little off the beaten track and more suited to those who work nearby but still great service and food.
W. B.
I just wanted an afternoon espresso and the guy behind the bar was very helpful with that. He provided the full coffee menu and pointed me in the direction of further coffee info. I tried their Costa Rica single origin espresso. The shot was pulled nicely and the espresso was great.

Visited on a Sunday for brunch. Very nice atmosphere, tasty food and excellent service.

Came in here for brunch this morning (a Saturday) and we were beyond impressed from start to finish.
It was packed to the rafters and we'd booked for outside but the lovely front of house team member with the half blonde half brunette hair (which I'm very jealous of, looks awesome!) greeted us super warmly and offered us a perch at the bar as it was a bit chilly outside which we really appreciated. I've worked hospo for years and was just super impressed with the whole experience – the bankside team runs a tight ship! Really slick speedy service, friendly but professional. The guy behind the bar took our order the second we'd decided so we didn't have to wait for service from floor staff. Drinks: My iced coffee was perfect and the passion fruit kombucha they had on was also delicious, and they were great about topping us up with tap water without us having to ask. For food: we had the fry and the golden spiced yoghurt and granola, both of which were great. The fry had amazing super-thick cut bacon, chewy sourdough, a delicious sausage, and two perfectly poached eggs. We had a look at the food coming out for other tables; seemed like everything on the menu was a winner. The only feedback is we would have loved some raisins in the delish granola that came with the yoghurt. To top the whole thing off, we tried to add a few more quid's tip on top of the auto-added 12.5% service but the staff member wouldn't let us beyond adding an extra quid towards the kitchen staff's night out. Would have happily parted with much more money to say thank you for looking after us so well – was an excellent experience all round during what looked like very busy service. Thanks Caravan team, will be back!

The food at Caravan is as delicious as it looks with a great selection for even the fussiest eaters. If the service was as good as the food this would easily have been a five star review, but waiting more than 20mins for an order to be taken and more than 30mins to get the bill was not how I expected to spend my morning.
p.
One of the best all day dining restaurants in London, their shashuka for breakfast is great as are their juices!
A. F.
Been here two nights in a row. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We only had drinks but what a great atmosphere. Andrew and Dawn xx
S. D.
Outside seating area isn’t very nice. Literally a side street with no view.
Was very busy but large and spacious venue
Just had a few drinks didn’t eat anything as there wasn’t anything snacky to share on the menu.
Sweet potato fries are a must everywhere imo
M. J.
Went here for Sunday brunch. Lovely food. Highly recommended.
S. S.
Love this branch of Caravan! The atmosphere and interior design is great! It's nice to have a drink or two or even to go and chill with your laptop. I would recommend the potato bread to share and a couple of negronis!
P. D.
The food selection was good and the cocktails great. The food was nice but it was just on the cusp of being warm and the poached eggs were cold. Given the price, everything should be next to perfect- hopefully next time it will be.
A. P.
Banging brunch place! Super yummy! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The have tables outside where is lovely on a sunny day.
A.
I will definitely come back for the quality of food and the excellent service and banter by Janik, this made my night in London.
M. G.
Fantastic brunch place with a sunny terrace. Recently went after the covid-19 restrictions changed on April 12. Staff was friendly and ensured that everyone checked in with NHS app. Brunch was delicious with gluten free and vegetarian options! Highly recommend.
J. B.
The Margaritas we had to start were spot on, the pizza's were delicious and the Rose was flowing.
Such a lovely evening, made better by the amazing service. Will definitely be back, so thank you team!
B. S.
Delicious small plates and yummy sourdough bread! Great service from Mara.
E.
Brunch is good, friendly service but disorganized when they place you in sharing tables
R.
Hands down the best breakfast I have had in London.. amazingly interesting choices on the menu with loads of flavour - lots of Mexican/Spanish/Middle Eastern options - yummy!
D. A.
I just loved it! Had ordered cornbread meal and it was delicious. Couldn't try their speciality drink made out of pomegranate..has a secret recipe!
R. R.
The chickpea dahl was delicious and the Tropic Thunder cocktail was especially good. Service was seamless even though it was busy. What made the evening was our server Nia, who was excellent, I would come back to this specific Caravan site because of her. Thank you!!
S.
The broken lamb meatballs, grilled aubergine, tahini labneh, crispy chickpeas, pickled red onion, boiled egg, chermoula, flatbread dish was just 👌🏼
S. P.
Food was nice enough, my pizza came on a plate placed on a warmed tray. I liked that. Our server was lovely and chatty, however due to covid mask it was difficult to hear but I appreciate they don't have much control over that. The person who dealt with the bill (not the chatty server) was very abrupt bordering on rude. Also they only take cards which would have been helpful information to have prior to ordering. I'm not a fan of the lack if choice in this respect.
L. O.
Booked by a family member and what a great choice, bright and airy but still private in the restaurant seating layout. The staff were very attentive, smiley and efficient, and answered all questions we had on the menu and drinks. The food was well presented, varied and tasted lovely. You can share a plates or have your own, a good way to try and find out what you like or not! There is a very wide ranging drinks list to suit most. We ate early and booked around 1700 on the day, it did get very busy later on ,so booking is advised.

Amazing brunch, friendly staff great coffee! Food is very moorish
K. A.
Great vibe, ambience service and food👌🏾
N. S.
Food is really great but you can tell a lot of the staff take this as an excuse to be rude to customers.
E. R.
Fun spot for a meal and a couple of drinks. Staff were really friendly
H. T.
Took a number of attempts to order a coffee due to poor internal communications, but the food was fantastic!

Absolutely amazing service from Mara and a great afternoon spent on amazing food and even better drinks

We love Kimchi pancakes!! Amazing food and place

Enjoyed a lovely evening to celebrate a birthday. Delicious food and great service. Sat indoors, no worries about distancing. Will definitely go again
A. B.
Great coffee and delicious baked eggs. Lovely terrace and friendly staff!
J. J.
Went here for a birthday brunch based on the reviews and online menu and left very satisfied. The food was delicious, nice to look at and well portioned. Service was prompt and professional. The general atmosphere was very relaxed and not too busy. Would definitely return, especially for the Buttermilk Vanilla hotcakes with date butter! :P
S. “. H.
A very inventive menu and there's lots to choose from. I liked the cod dumplings and crispy tofu but it wasn't very filling. Definitely need a third small plate/side per person. The atmosphere is very relaxed and service is good. They baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet but unfortunately I had to wait rather a long time as one of the chefs decided to use the disabled toilet instead of the general toilet to do his business.
J. I.
A trendy cavernous space that doesn't feel cold. Huge bar offering drinks and innovative food with excellent coffee offerings in espresso, 2 batch brew options, and a slow-brew bar.
S. E.
Superb. Excellent menu and friendly staff. Great seating inside and out and in a great area.
S. B.
Great food. I usually dine alone, the staff ensure I get the table I like and make me feel very comfortable. As I have some tricky allergies I can feel quite nervous about ordering something different. Luckily the staff are always happy to make suggestions and changes, nothing is too much trouble!
D. P.
Service is great. Some real hipster served filter coffees and the baked eggs with chorizo are a must!!
M. Á. G.
I was really impressed by Caravan. The queue was short for a Saturday morning, the host telling us about the wait was lovely, we got a nice comfy table after 30min, and the service was great. The dishes were all yummy and with a great selection for brunch. Drinks variety was also impressive. I had the baked eggs and warm milk. Amazing both of them! Table is for an hour and a half but you do not feel rushed. Price was very reasonable for London. I paid 17.50 with tip and I had added a sausage to my meal. Definitely will go again
A. E.
Perfect location to meet for a business lunch. Nice menu and environment.
J. B.
Nice place tucked away in Bermondsey, good food, and friendly service.
P. F.
Good and nice service. Good food. We all enjoyed it.
P. T.
Lovely spot for lunch or dinner. Coffee is decent and the food is delish!
N. T.
I've eaten here twice now - pizza and duck confit. Both were excellent. As you'd expect they have great coffee too.
A. T.
Booked by a family member and what a great choice, bright and airy but still private in the restaurant seating layout. The staff were very attentive, smiley and efficient, and answered all questions we had on the menu and drinks.Four of us visited here with a reservation, but this wasn’t necessary as they were not full. Not the warmest of welcomes, but hey-ho. Drinks were ordered - a selection of nice enough cocktails
M. M.
Absolutely phenomenal food and service. We ordered most of the menu, and then doubles of some after we tried it. Make sure you order the char-grilled cabbage and your taste buds are going to have a party. Good sized plates for sharing with a group of 7.
I.
Great if ur into health food. If not the menu is a bit limiting if ur not wanting a salad or 'grain bowl'
M. C.
Ambience and environment is good. Food is fine but nothing amazing. Pizza was a real disappointment. Menu is very limited.
M. H.
Went for lunch with the family. Booked a table. We are all vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. The flavours were awesome! Really good coffee and the pear and chocolate muffin for dessert was a delight! Staff were attentive and polite, so didn't mind paying the 12% service charge. Will definitely be back again.
A. P.
Breakfast was just like home and a nice venue 👌🏻
N. S.
Lovely interior, our waitress was the sweetest and food was good. However, I didn't like the kombucha passion fruit tea, it tasted like vinegar, and they gladly canceled the drink.
K. S. (.
Excellent Vibe. Been here a few time. Never disspoint.
K.
So delicious Egg scrambled, bacon and roasted tomatoes! I very recommend this place!!
K. B.
Had a superb time at Caravan yesterday. Food and service were world class (Makes sense because their motto is ‘well travelled’). Had the most charming waitress Josie, who was stunning and presented us with some of the best service we’ve ever had. Tables were spotless (particularly the cutlery I might add!). Management were also continually attentive, felt very looked after. Will reccomend!
M. L.
Very nice food and a lovely Aperol Spritz!
B. H.
Great service and awesome coffee — can’t ask for much more (also the place is beautiful: industrial, light and spacious) 👌✌️
A. N.
I've always loved Caravan for its excellent coffee & delicious brunch. But today I was blown away by how caring and wonderful the staff are. After stopping in alone for a drink and bite to eat, all of a sudden I felt very unwell and in a lot of pain. After I went to try and compose myself in the bathroom, leaving my food untouched, one of the waitresses kindly came to check on me. And when I returned the manager in the white checked shirt came to ask if I'd like my food reheated. When I answered that I wasn't feeling well enough to eat he took it away and quietly asked the waiter to take it off my bill. I was still in too much pain to show my gratitude when I was leaving but thank you very much for your kindness, I really appreciated it.
M. M.
Very creative menu for a brunch place - with every dish being absolutely delicious. I’ve been here a handful of times now and I’ve never been disappointed. Such a hidden gem compared to nearby Breakfast Club. Can recommend the smoked salmon and eggs on toast and the vegan chocolate truffles !
The room is lovely and light, but be aware that if you come in twos they might seat you at a high table with another pair of guests.
N. B.
Food was just ok, slightly bland on the seasoning. Staff were very friendly
S. O.
We had espresso martinis and they were okay. I was expecting better so mildly disappointed.
We got pudding too (boiled orange cake and chocolate delise) and they were fine; others will enjoy, but the flavour combinations weren't for me.
Music was too loud for the time of day so I struggled to listen to conversation. I might have asked to turn it down, but staff seemed annoyed by our presence so never felt truly welcome.
On the plus side, their handcream and soap (locally sourced) were very pleasant, but perhaps not enough reason to return.
N. J.
The level of service here is great. The place is always busy with a short wait to get a table. The atmosphere and the music is great.Drinks - they’re coffee is beautiful and never burnt. The banana, bee pollen and cold brew is to die for and also a good morning Gin.Food - The kimchi pancake, pork belly or regular avocado on sourdough are delicious.
J. N.
Really laid back restaurant offering a great selection of small and large dishes and great pizzas. Good selection of vegetarian options too, and really minimalist deconstruct interior design
P. L.
Went with a friend tonight I must say beautiful decor and amazing cocktails and the service was second to none. One of the waiters told us you have just had a menu change and it was fab especially the Jerusalem artichokes and fab vegan choice - thanks for looking after us so well.
B. I.
This place was delicious. The only sad part was that I didn't want my meal to end. I ate every bite slowly because of how decadent this meal was. Had the pork belly kimchi pancake with fried egg and I wiped my plate clean. The spice was so well balanced that it didn't take away from the pork belly flavors and the kimchi. I felt like I was on an episode of Iron Chef with the way the meal was presented and how the flavors were so well balanced. Best brunch decision on my trip to London.
P. C.
Positive points for me were nice space with good aircon (much needed on our visit), subtle service and staff, mostly good food. Negative points were the menu was not Antipodean (I live in NZ - no lamb or beef mains) and the wine list wasn’t either. A little pricy too. But overall we had a nice meal. So a solid 3.5 score from me.
E. L.
Great place, with delicious food and coffee. The staff is attentive and helpful when my sister asked for cinnamon in her coffee it was brought to her in an extra pot. Which was a lovely touch. My mum, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts.
L. U.
Best place for brunch in Southwark! Creative menu with Australian vibes and friendly staff ✌️
M. O.
Delicious breakfast (both the quinoa bowl and the pork belly toast were excellent!), friendly and attentive wait staff, and great morning cocktails. The space is welcoming and seats are comfortable. The music was a bit loud, but it was worth it :)
E. H.
Food and drinks were excellent, we enjoyed all the dishes we had and there was an allergen menu available which was helpful as my boyfriend is lactose intolerant. The bar and restaurant area are nicely decorated and it's larger and more spacious than the other branches of Caravan. We would definitely return.
K. v. d. L.
Nice modern lunch room. Lots of different healthy choices. Staff was good.
S. P.
All the staff were so friendly and were able to guide me on ingredients and help me choose what to order as I basically wanted everything! The ambience was lovely, service was impeccable and the food was delicious! I cannot wait to go back. A very cool place and somewhere I want to take my best friends!
R. G.
Great food, very good all round
D.
Outstanding. Most excellent food. Friendly waitress. Definitely will return.
E. M.
The quality of the coffee is really good. Amazing staff, friendly, great customer service and an overall beautiful atmosphere that makes you want to become a regular. I haven't had food there yet but I will soon. Highly recommend this place.
C. H.
Outstanding breakfast and superb service and staff. Outstanding bloody Mary’s
S. M.
Sourdough pizza was lovely. Lime pudding I can highly recommend. Nice atmosphere. Staff helpful and welcoming - managed to seat us even though we hadn't booked.
A. C.
Delicious food and cocktails that are moderately priced. I recommend sharing a myriad of the sharing plates -- the menu is seasonal so changes quite regularly. Pizzas are nice and very filling. Breakfasts are also top. Open pretty much all day and well appointed for all stages of the day. Staff can sometimes be a little surly and the layout, in my opinion, doesn't make the best use of the space. Also has Aesop hand cream in the gents, which is always a good sign.
R. M.
Nice and airy restaurant with lots of space, also good for large groups.
Having been to the branch in King's Cross a couple times this one didn't disappoint. Food, coffee amd drinks all really good amd staff all very professional and friendly.
I believe menus are continually updated, a few stand out dishes being broken meatballs and the minced chicken salad.
G. M.
Came in this evening and our waiter Ben recommended us the new cocktail, it was incredible! Great atmosphere, pleasant service, we'll be coming back.
B. B.
Would recommend the slow cook pork belly. Great location and very reasonably priced
B. S.
Lovely food and drinks - amazing ham and cheese croquettes - great service, but a little overpriced for a tapas-style lunch
R. R.
Went on Saturday for brunch and our waitress Anna was so lovely, she’s got a great vibe! Food and drink were delicious, nice place!
M. P.
Great service, food was lush! Start of the show for us was the Asparagus, perfectly balanced, 10/10 would recommend to a friend
S. B.
As always, delicious food with a changing menu. Went in a group of four which is a good size for sharing plates. Location is great too, we walked from London bridge. Lots of different staff looked after us but they were all nice.
S. P.
Fantastic vegetarian options - really good value too. The chilli fried tofu is amazing, as is the cauliflower. A great choice for casual business lunches too. Probably worth booking lunches in advance, unless you get the for 12 it can fill up pretty quickly.
J. W.
Whilst the service was sufficient and the quality of the food was ok. For what you are paying for it was a severe let down.
The menus were flodded with additional words and pretetion, whilst sounding wonderful upon delivery were a severe let down. Our crispy pork belly turned out to be a bowl of cucumber chunks, sauce and three bites of pork belly. Thankfully we paid £4 for a small portion of chips to fill us up enough until we got to the train station for a pasty.
Overrated and overpriced. Your money is better spent elsewhere.
S. H.
Friendly staff, delicious, tasty fusion of food, good wines and lively atmosphere. The only thing I did not like was the lighting, it was very dark, we had to use our phone torch and table candle to see the very pale printed menu, even the waitress said "I can hardly see you both"!
D. D.
Great food and an even better atmosphere. Even though the restaurant is large, the layout mean't we felt we were cosy and comfortable. Also, most importantly the cocktails were great! Will be back again.
J. L.
It's my second time here and I do find it a great space. The brunch menu is solid with interesting additions. Also it's nice to find a place to eat that really makes sure their coffee is good too or is it good first? Normally we have to go out for food then go for coffee.
M. F.
We stumbled across this new neighborhood spot for brunch last weekend and it was so good that we came back the very next day! We loved everything we tried from the inventive menu, which includes plenty of vegetarian options and international influences ranging from Korean to Mexican to Middle Eastern. The decor is chic, the atmosphere his hip and inviting and the service is refreshingly friendly and attentive. We're so pleased to have this new gem in the neighborhood and look forward to making it one of our regular spots.
S. 2.
I always love the menu and the food at Caravan, and the relaxed yet stylish vibe was perfect. The service was very slow and a bit confused on this occasion, though. It's great that they have an allergen menu they bring vegans on arrival, but it would be even better to have a vegan menu showing altered vegan options of veggie dishes (i.e. on a dish with cheese, the allergen menu will have dairy labelled, but you don't know if it's just in the cheese or elsewhere, so whether it would be vegan without the cheese, so it would be great to have a vegan menu with a cheeseless version!). Just a couple of comments - it was a lovely dinner, though.
L. R.
Decent breakfast and coffee, staff are always friendly.
They have re-opened with a number of outdoor tables at the back of the restaurant.
J. K.
Beautiful setting and buzzing atmosphere whether it's brunch or dinner. Comfortable seating, attentive unpretentious service, tasty food and drink - cocktails are wicked and there's shrubs for your SE friends. First rats coffee too. Good place to come with a group of you're into sharing, but equally good for those who want their own plate of food. Plenty for VG VE GF etc.
J. A.
Small plates good, but mains not so much
V. S.
Went for brunch. Dishes are inventive, they've put a real effort into designing this menu, which also has lots of choices. Try their juices too! Setting is gorgeous (ex-industrial building) and the restaurant is tucked away in a quiet side street. Will be back!
M.
Great food and good selection of drinks. Can get a bit pricy if you are sharing lots of small plates, but the quality and the way is cooked is wonderful.
Can get very noisy even when not full and weirdly the toilets have great acoustics and a better sound system than the restaurant itself!
D. S.
absolutely delicious and great atmosphere! Food for a vegan was unreal... Service has a bit of a way to go, they forgot most drinks, but still super smily and friendly. Fun spot and so pleased it's in the area!
K. S. B.
Great menu, cool atmosphere and friendly staff
This spot is great for brunch, lunch or drinks and nibbles and do some great tasting smoothies. It's a good choice if you're trying to have a nice meal out but stay relatively healthy, and supports tapas and standard dining.
E. K.
I am really disappointed with the service. We had a really grumpy waitress who was rude from the beginning and she ended up complaining about us to a colleague of herself regarding our payment method.
Food was okay, nothing special. There are much better Australian cafes around such as Lantana and Granger & Co.
I just feel sorry that we waited for 1.5 hours for such low quality Sunday brunch. Never again.
V. B.
Lovely restaurant. Nice food and good service.
O. S.
These guys keep on smashing out great tasting and unique plates. Both breakfast and lunch/dinner is worth a visit. Great service. And coffee is delicious.
J. S.
Fab service, such a friendly and comfortable environment. I felt as though I was sitting in my lounge room at home! Super cute blonde bar lady I think her name was Cath, makes a badass margarita and the sass to boot!! Love this restaurant, will be back very soon.
E. S.
I love this place. The coffee is great and if you feel like skipping the caffeine their healthy smoothies are delicious. Particularly recommend the one with cacao.
Their service is perfect unless you're only in there for a quick drink/work on your laptop and you sit on the high stools, at which point it's pretty easy for them to forget about you. I've sat there for 10mins trying to make eye contact just to get a menu and it was like getting water out of a rock.
They also have a funny system going on where only one or two members of staff can take your order, even if you make eye contact and ask for something. Which feels a bit ott.
Otherwise, great vibe, great decor, fantastic brunch menu and brilliant coffee. Maybe a little pretentious/stuck up, but hey, it's London.
B. R.
Very slow service, but food is good when it arrives
K. R.
Excellent customer service and very good quality food. Really no ice atmosphere.
J. T.
The venue was fantastic. Service was very good, the only downside was the size portion of food versus cost. I ordered the waffle, you get one and it's £8. Really delicious though.
A. L.
Being a big fan of Caravan in Kings Cross and Exmouth Market, I had to try this new branch.
Sadly, it was a disappointment.
The coffee was still excellent, as I would expect, and the venue spacious and full of light, which I liked. The service was also excellent.
However, the music was too loud (80's disco, not my cup of tea for brunch), and I was very disappointed in the food, especially knowing the quality of other branches.
I had the aubergine purée with soft boiled eggs and gremolata, which I had tried before in other branches and really liked.
Here, the aubergines were chewy, the taste was off, the gremolata was just finely chopped preserved lemon. The presentation of the dish also made it less appealing. Looking around, it's possible that other dishes were better executed, but I was really disappointed in my own experience.
Three stars might sound harsh, but I mainly go to Caravan for the very high quality of the food, so it was the one thing not to miss for me. I'd have rater higher if the food was top notch and service and venue not as good.
Overall, as a fan of Caravan, where I'll continue going, I'll avoid this branch.
J. D.
Loved loved loved everything - the team were so considerate with my dietary needs. Highly recommend, loved chatting with the wonderful GM, although I didn’t quite get his name. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in London.
S. C.
It was my first try
And i was amazed
I never went to a restaurant for breakfast and ate my whole plate
When i started eating i couldnt stop
I highly recommend it
S. R.
Lively restaurant with excellent tapas style menu. Lots of vegetarian items on the menu. I highly recommend the burrata, fried cauliflower and the margherita pizza. The cocktails were brilliant. Perfect ambiance for after work drinks, casual dates or catching up with friends.
O. Z.
Fantastic food, surprising, innovative and beautifully executed. We came for pizza, although the menu has much more options, including small plates, bowls and mains. We shared a bowl of hallomi, mushrooms and kalamata olives and nduja pizza, the bowl was an unusual combination of ingredients that worked together very well, the pizza was crowned as the best pizza we had in London. The cocktails were really good as well, we had a jag of Bloody Mary, that was strong and spicy. Definitely a place to come, especially if you visit Tate Modern, for us it's the best place in the vicinity of the museum.
Z. S.
Excellent food and fantastic service from Mara!
A. G.
Perfect place for brunch- spacious, lovely food and staff.
J. B.
Ideal place to share some small plates and from what I tried, very tasty. The cauliflower and carrot dishes are both excellent, and the oxtail with polenta was a particular highlight. Busy at lunchtime but that's to be expected given its location. Very good indeed.
O. S.
It was overall okay but could be better
L. E.
The most lovely, fun, relaxed evening - we stayed well beyond closing time so huge thanks to the staff for not kicking us out while we finished our drinks! Great food, service and atmosphere 🙌🏻

Best place for brunch, food was delicious and great service.
C. K.
Lovely brunch options
B. K.
Diverse menu, friendly staff.
M. M.
Absolutely phenomenal food and service. We ordered most of the menu, and then doubles of some after we tried it. Make sure you order the char-grilled cabbage and your taste buds are going to have a party. Good sized plates for sharing with a group of 7.

Great food and very friendly and sweet service 🧡. Looking forward to be back!
E. L.
Great place, with delicious food and coffee. The staff is attentive and helpful when my sister asked for cinnamon in her coffee it was brought to her in an extra pot. Which was a lovely touch. My mum, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts.
S. H.
Great breakfast and service.
D. C.
Good place for cocktails and lovely croquetas - little pricey
A. K.
Really delicious food, I had one of the bowls. I came here for a business lunch and would absolutely return. Not too busy or noisy during lunch and I liked the decor.
D. N.
This is a great spot for a quick lunch, the menu is varied with a selection of snacks, small plates & larger plates. The drink selection is wide & varied. It would be good to see more dietary info on the menus rather than having to ask.
D. B.
Always great food here. Lots of lovely small plate options. Jalepenos corn bread is a must try. Always feels healthy as well. Not cheap but worth it.
K. P.
Amazing location and food! Open kitchen and good atmosphere!
Μ. Μ.
Great place for brunch! Lovely atmosphere, wonderful food and great service. The only downside is that you cannot make a reservation (during weekend at least) so we were waiting at a queue for more than 30 minutes)

“Imaginative Antipodean dishes”. Not a native speaker for English, and my rudimentary Greek failing to enlighten me, I visited Caravan to discover what “Antipodean” meant — and emerged from the restaurant a while later thinking it must be wonderful, beautiful, inspired, and delicious, all encompassed by the same word!
Having dined elsewhere, came here for dessert — the deconstructed cheesecake, of goat milk cream, blood orange compote and a thin cracker, made the most surprising, delightful combination. I ate the slowest, not wanting it to ever end.
And for once, here I found a lovely turmeric latte that did not taste grainy, very smooth and soothing.
Beautiful soft industrial decor — wabi sabi in some ways. One of those rooms one imagines oneself living in. The tall windows create, during day time, an airy atmosphere in which I could even meditate, king that I am of the least busy hours.
Lovely in all aspects — service, smart soundtrack, luxurious spaciousness.
So that’s the meaning of “Antipodean” as I’ve guessed, so far. Guess I’ll visit it again to find out more.
A. S.
Decent food friendly staff very welcoming
S. B.
Nice atmosphere and an interesting menu. Service was fairly slow on a busy Sunday brunch shift and the food a bit too salty. Would go back but there's a lot of competition.
J. C.
Great atmosphere. Lovely staffs. I had jamon croquettes, chicken wings and schnitzel. Taste was good but some parts were quite hard to chew.
L. B.
Great tapas/sharing dishes. Really really tasty food. Cool and contemporary feel. Friendly and helpful staff. Was really busy but turnaround was really well managed.

Caravan Bankside, is an absolute gem in the muddled world of restaurant madness south of the river. We went in late ish, & The Fabulous Raj the General Manager & the equally gorgeous Johnathan, were everything & more that you could want . They made us feel welcomed, important, valued & sooooo looked after, we were spoilt! They took ownership of my wife's onion intolerance, & we saw them in a huddle, before Raj came & talked us through the fact that the tofu pizza, has onion in it's base, then he helped to chose another, equally yummy pizza with Corgettes feta & chilli. We started with delightfully buttery & spicy jalapeño corn bread to nibble, then Pork belly with coriander, chilli & lime, plus the unbelievable charred cauliflower with Harissa & deep fried salt & pepper tofu. an excellent NZ Sauvignon Blanc, plus a very generously comped desert of creamy chocolate salty crunchy caramelised nuts & a peach sorbet to fight over! Ambience & decor & comfort, as good as anywhere in the world! Caravan Bankside, you are wonderful! Raj & Johnathan are STARS !! Thank You!

Was really looking forward to going here as I'd heard amazing things. The menu is huge and really varied so the hardest part is deciding what to have. We went for small plates and had a real mixture. All the food was really good, peanut and cheese wontons, ox tail and black beans, burmese chicken salad, jalepeno bread, mackerel and brown prawns with grits. Plus it all came really fast. However nothing absolutely blew me away. We also had chocolate torte and peanut butter icecream for pudding which was pretty special. The after dinner espresso was as good as promised. I'd like to come back for breakfast to see how different that is.
My one criticism would be the atmosphere of the place. The venue is massive and although there were lots of people there it was still only about 60% full. That combined with any lack of music and a 2 person table being quite wide so you're sat quite far apart made for a less intimate atmosphere

Beautiful space with unique, delightful food. Mostly vegetarian and they had some wonderful options on the menu. Everything we had was wonderful. Attentive but not fussy service.
B. H.
Friendly staff, good food and fair value.
J. N.
Caravan Bankside is great if you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Typically come here with my work colleagues for various meetings, leaving, dos, et. and have always been fairly satisfied. Something here for everyone.
S. B.
The food is absolutely delicious but what really wowed me was the service. The staff pre-empted our every need and were extremely accommodating with my food allergies etc. We went for dinner on Fri 11th - thank you to the team that served us!
E. F.
Lovely addition from the Caravan team. Relaxed atmosphere, delicious menu and spot on coffee - fab place for breakfast or end of day drinks. Great option if visiting Tate Modern or heading to Borough Market. If you like this place try their other places in Kings Cross and Exmouth Market
J. H.
Best experience I have ever had in a restaurant! Everyone really went out of their way to make sure my party and I were well looked after. Will be back for sure.
A. K.
Really delicious food, I had one of the bowls. I came here for a business lunch and would absolutely return. Not too busy or noisy during lunch and I liked the decor.
J. T.
The venue was fantastic. Service was very good, the only downside was the size portion of food versus cost. I ordered the waffle, you get one and it's £8. Really delicious though.
W. J.
Gorgeous

Friendly and prompt service, delicious and innovative menu. Very consistent with my first visit a week ago. Thank you.
D. S.
Lovely meal in atmospheric surrounding with really good staff. Really original food, which works.
M. M.
Very creative menu for a brunch place - with every dish being absolutely delicious. I’ve been here a handful of times now and I’ve never been disappointed. Such a hidden gem compared to nearby Breakfast Club. Can recommend the smoked salmon …
K. M.
Great place, lovely staff, interesting menu, busy but not loud. Really enjoyed finding this hidden treasure.
P. L.
Went with a friend tonight I must say beautiful decor and amazing cocktails and the service was second to none. One of the waiters told us you have just had a menu change and it was fab especially the Jerusalem artichokes and fab vegan choice - thanks for looking after us so well.
M. B.
Overpriced for what it is, just had a drink, they brought us a bottle of wine already opened and with no label, could be anything. And they also tried to add the discretionary service charge! The place itself is nice, but I'm sure there's better around
P. G.
Great food and they do almond milk coffee options which is always a winner for me! Their food options are great, I really enjoyed their chargrilled cauliflower, it was a really unique but refreshing taste.
J. H.
Best experience I have ever had in a restaurant! Everyone really went out of their way to make sure my party and I were well looked after. Will be back for sure.
A. B.
Stopped off for filter coffee and banana bread before a bike ride. The coffee was excellent.
E. F.
Fantastic food and service!
It would’ve got five stars but unfortunately it’s one of those shameful places that adds a service charge to the bill but doesn’t give it to the servers.
C. h.
Coffee - obviously sooo lovely. good quality.
Foods - full of flavour with goodness. Healthy foods they have.
Staffs - very friendly
Great place to hangout with friends, day or night.
N. R.
The food was nice but I think it was a bit overpriced? Got a crayfish salad (small nite size), a cocktail and a pudding plus shared two small pieces of cheese and a super yummy potato bread (the best!) And paid £36
A. M.
Amazing food, great atmosphere! Meatballs and salmon are my favorite small plates. Too bad the raw salmon is not on the menu anymore!
N. M.
Ate her twice in one week. Awesome food. Lively but not crazy loud like the nearby pubs. Nice long counter with seats so great place to eat solo.
N. T.
Just stopped for some hot drinks. Unlimited filter coffee. Super tasty! Will definitely be back.
M. O.
Lovely brunch and great service !
T. V.
Tasty food and really kind service by Mara.
M. K.
Their coffee is one of the best in the neighbourhood.
Roasted carrots dish takes carrots to a different dimension.
You need to order a few dishes - a bit like tapas - colourful, lush, juicy, fresh food - very Kiwi.
E. A.
Love this place and we now are regulars!
A. F.
Been going there for brunch for quite a while, the food is very good , staff is nice and friendly . I would suggest to book in advance or be ready to queue for a bit. Highly recommend
M.
We had small dishes to share during dinner. The cauliflower was yumz! There's a tofu dish with soy sauce - that made my day. I'm an Asian and I thought that dish was really well made!
A. V.
Best food and service I've had in a long time.. I was just looking to grab breakfast at a cafe somewhere, but Google steered me to this place. Wow, love it. Will definitely be back
J. F.
Really nice, interesting meals, good coffee. Pretty pricey for not many expensive ingredients, such as meat, but still around at the usual expensive hipster brunch price.
E. J.
I would give this place 5 stars were it not for the unnecessarily loud music. Every time I bring friends here they always remark on how loud it is but once the food comes they understand why I like it so much. Delicious food and excellent service - just wish the music wasn't so loud.
N. M.
Great, fine brunch food (the smoothie is delicious, too!), chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the vibe and the type of people hanging out there.
D. M.
Food was good. Service a bit patchy. We were asked to leave after 1.5hrs as they needed the table, but the restaurant was empty and it was late - that was a bit weird.
n.
Mind-blowing food. Absolutley recommend Caravan for an evening with friend or a loved one. You won’t be disappointed - especially if you pick the croquettes, potato bread or burrata! It’s not cheap but certainly worth it. I’m really going to return (already annonoued to my best friend as well as boyfriend that I’m taking them there).
Don’t be shy - try it out! You’ll need to book in advance though as the place is very popular and you won’t be able to stay longer than 2 hours..
N. D.
Food and coffee has always been 5*, the service isn't consistent unfortunately. The experience is unpredictable, hence the 4* review.
H. A.
Come here all the time, love this restaurant! Amazing food and coffee, great atmosphere and decor and the staff are the best, Madison in particular!
M. K.
The breakfast @caravanrestaurants was delicious!! I love if a day starts with a meeting over great breaky! 👌🏼😊
I actually figured this would be a great spot for a bit of remote work as well... 😏 I‘ll be back! 😁
E. S.
A very good time at Caravan Bankside.
Tasty brunch !
L. M.
The most spectacular tastes in food!
Minor detractors to an overwhelmingly loving experience was a little distance and coolness from staff and the clearing of plates as we ate.
C. F.
Great food and service. It was really busy but they didn't forget us. Free round of drinks for the delay. Can't say fairer than that.
W. W.
Went there for a cappuccino to go. The cuppa was worth the extra walk and made my day. Very close to Borough Market. Would suggest anyone to grab their cuppa before heading back to the market for a food tour.
F. S.
Fantastic food and friendly service.
J. B.
The food was decent along with the service, its an average restaurant, but with a hefty price tag - personally I have had better food which coast less.
H. A.
Friendly staff. Nice food and coffee.
D. M.
Lovely environment and great staff 😎
C. C.
Fantastic food, fun atmosphere and, of course, amazing coffee. Great place for a brunch before heading over to the Tate. (My previous review was accidentally posted from wrong account.)
T. C.
Superb food and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Perfect place to while away an evening. Really friendly staff
L. S.
Delightful and helpful staff, delicious eats and a bright, airy atmosphere! Will be back to try their brunch sometime.
B. A.
Unfortunately hottest day of the year and not enough shade outside. Good food choices.
T. L.
Excellent breakfast/brunch. Nice, short and delicious menu. Lovely drinks as well. Fast service.
R. H.
Friendly and prompt service, delicious and innovative menu. Very consistent with my first visit a week ago. Thank you.
N. B.
Great location and ambience. Interesting salad combos. The quinoa salad never tasted so good. Expected more from pizza offering.
R. v. W.
Nice restaurant with great food. Loved the flavours of the food. Would definitely go here again next time I am in London.
M. S.
Excellent food... Great ambience and staff
c. w.
Delicious dinner, the cocktail I requested wasn't available and the bar tender was happy to make a craft cocktail for me based on my preferences. It paired well with the butternut squash bisque and the sea bass.
B. A.
The restaurant has a relaxed rustic vibe to it, perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening with friends. Great food and good music! Loved it!
C. Y.
Great flavours, creative dishes at a reasonable price. Veggie and non veggie. Great service and a nice atmosphere.
D. S.
Great place for a cup of proper coffee, which unlike many places is served strong. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
D. L. B.
This is my favorite spot south of the river for a little morning filter coffee, reading, writing, or work meetings. The only thing better than the delicious food is the warmth of the fine folks who make it feel like home.
L. W.
Came across Caravan whilst out for the day sightseeing with a friend. Had a lovely lunch, staff were friendly, attentive and the food was delicious.
E. E.
Great food and service. Really lovely for a Saturday brunch and very reasonable for a group meal.
T. I.
A great place to have some food and drinks while catching up with friends. If you wanna go to some place not that loud and with friendly professional staff, Caravan is your place.
I. M.
Great vibe and food is pretty good. Their croquettes are amazing.
K. M.
Great place, lovely staff, interesting menu, busy but not loud. Really enjoyed finding this hidden treasure.
J.
Delicious brunch and nice atmosphere. Plenty more to choose from next time I go. Aubergine was great
D. S.
Lovely meal in atmospheric surrounding with really good staff. Really original food, which works.
T. A.
The food is nice but the portion is really small. To me it’s more like a appetiser instead of brunch
M. S.
Child friendly brunch eateries. Good service and affordable (£40 for 2 people: plate and 2 drinks). Hip crowd.
L. B.
Friendly staff. Quite a long wait to be served. Great drinks. Nice food. Good portions.
R. B.
Generally good. An interesting menu and a good, relaxing environment. Not cheap but not unreasonable. Well worth a visit.
C. G.
Caravan has quickly become a favourite of mine after being introduced by a friend. I have visited both their bankside and Exmouth market branches, both superb. Coffee is also some of the best in London.
M. R.
Great food, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere.
K. V.
Lovely food and drink with some London, back alley ambience out side.
L. G.
Great food and very friendly and sweet service 🧡. Looking forward to be back!
N. A.
SO good. Where do I begin... creative AF bartenders, healthy and delicious menu in a gorgeous stripped back setting. Love it
O. P.
A bit on the pricey side for a casual lunch but the flavours are complex, modern and fresh. Outstanding.
J. H.
Tasty if a little pricy. I had the brocolli and sweet potato big bowl. Really good flavours.
s. x.
Best place for brunch, food was delicious and great service.
S. H.
The food came in record time! It was fresh and full of flavour. Good coffee. I will be back!
D. O.
Amazing food for both brunch and dinner. Has a lovely cosy atmosphere.
M. H.
Lots of great outdoor tables and good food.
L. H.
Laid back, interesting menu and good price for dining with friends. Has become a quick favourite with good word spreading through office.
H. N.
Amazing food. It is incredible what they've done with the vegan fried tofu. Beautifully seasoned and exciting food.
M. P.
Best place for brunch in south London
M. E.
Lively place with good fresh food.
M. M.
Sat at the bar and enjoyed some cocktails while chatting to the bar staff. Really good atmosphere and had the chorizo pizza, YUM!
R. G.
Decent food. Great coffee. Service wasn't great on this occassion but normally it's good.
a. m.
YUM! This place is very cool, laid back and has the best food in this part of town! A great hidden gem when you are looking for somewhere amongst the chains
S. C.
Pretentious menu, food alright but overpriced, bring your flashlight to read the menu if there at dinner in a poorly lit table, attentive service.
R. G.
Offer a twist on brunch classics, a little hit and miss in terms of food. Good vibes here and less crowded than other Caravan locations.
J. V.
Really love coming here! The service is always amazing, the coffee is among the best I’ve had in the world! #Yum
M. C.
Came here for a coffee but ended up indulging in more than that. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient and more importantly the food was great.
A. Y.
Really delicious breakfast! Great staff attention. We'd do it all over again tomorrow.
W. Y.
Fantastic service and food came really quickly. Would return.
G. S.
Excellent, reasonably priced food and very good, wide-ranging cocktails list. Perfect for catching up with mates.
H. H.
Superb restaurant. Faultless start to finish. Original food and good wine list too. Highly recommended.
T. V.
Excellent food and coffee.
A. W.
As always, really lovely food but never go for house wine, water tastes way better!
S. L.
Really great food. The menu has obviously been an inspiration to some lesser resturants.
A. K.
Too fancy and cheesy for a simple cause to have a breakfast, to be honest. But it’s great for brunch and cocktails
M. d. B.
Nice and fresh food. Lovely staff. Perfect for business lunch. Good atmosphere
C. K.
Lovely brunch options
B. B.
The food was great, service was good, waiters were attentive. Also loved the music in there.

buzzing atmosphere, delicious coffee, great menu options and most of the table happy with their choices, very minimal and indifferent service
