D. W.YOU MUST TRY! No need to say more. Amazing place, very warm, feels like family. If you want to go on French adventure, that is your hot spot! Manager looked after us very well and recommended best champagnes.
In my opinion go for Rose! We tried snails, cheese and meat board, hot potatoes with truffle, but baked Camembert with figs is to die for!

L.Deliiiiiiiish. Staff, in order of appearance, Douglas, PJ and Suzanna were the sheet. Very welcoming, pampered us, served us, listened to us, waited on us with love. Great vibe. Even clown coming in in mask didn't upset the vibe. Although lady had her, ( I assume) iPhone stolen from her hands from three dudes wearing hoodies and 'masks' on the DLR. The government's fear campaign seems to be propagating more fear than they planned. Unless they planned the division of society even more and an excuse for the po to start stop searching every mofo again. Especially those with darker skin tones. That being said. Great evening. Champagne anyone? I'm not doing cheese right now, thus the exclusion of its mentioning from my toast.

B. C.This is an intimate restaurant in the heart of Greenwich. I shared a platter with three French meats and cheeses with my husband. Everything was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed a floral champagne glass while my he tried a different champagne. We had a corner seat mounded with pillows; quite comfortable. The lady who served us was full of smiles. It didn’t take long for our food and beverages.

M. K.Lovely meats and cheeses platter, all the food was really good. In the summer you might be lucky to grab a table outside and people-watch since it's on a busy path towards Greenwich Market. The place inside is quite small though so on sunny days there's usually a significant wait to get a table.

M. A.Two of had a wonderful lunch in this jewel of a place, a perfect little slice of France. The menu is largely based on boards of cheese (hence the name) and charcuterie, all delicious and in perfect condition, and available in a variety of sizes and combinations. We had a sharing board of three each of the cheeses and the charcuterie. along with a basket of crusty baguette. There are none of the usual champagne suspects from the big houses here. They were all growers I had never heard of, and the house champagne and the house red Bordeaux were both delightful. The venue is small and the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and it was the perfect end to a morning of walking around Greenwich and its market on a chilly January day. If you want a traditional three course meal this is not the place for you. But if want champagne and wine and carefully sourced French dishes, this is the place to be. They do have a small selection of other dishes - snails, saucisses, duck confit, baked camembert, and melted cheese dishes, and desserts. Thoroughly recommended.

J. L.Great cheese and charcuterie board with excellent champagne. I think, the ethos is quality all the way, because the prices weren’t the most accommodating for your average night out. Because it’s on my doorstep, I would come here more regularly if it was less pricey. But perhaps doing so would take away from the specialness of coming here. Either way it’s a 5 star, because I do believe the quality, vibe, and passionate staff, matched the price.

Our group learnt a lot, and the brie we sampled was like no other brie I have ever had in my life! The champagne was delightful too. A fun night out for sure!

A. S.I've been to Champagne + Fromage a couple of times now, and have had a wonderful experience every time. The shop is small and cosy but rarely fills up enough to make seating a problem, and staff are super friendly and really know their stuff.
Regular events are held here, and it's well worth booking in for one of the tasting sessions. Alternatively, you can just drop in until fairly late in the evening for an ad hoc bit of bubbly and cheese plate - it's a great alternative to busy pubs.

We were all delighted and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening out. The owner Maud was charming and incredibly knowledgeable. I was amazed at how cheese goes so incredibly well with Champagne, it was a perfect combination. Champagne really transforms cheese into something more elegant: I loved the way the cheeses were balanced out by the refreshing bubbles! The whole event was brilliantly orchestrated. It was a highly entertaining, delicious and fun experience and quite frankly, very good value for money.Thank you Champagne + Fromage!
P. D.I brought a date here for their birthday and it was the perfect venue for such a romantic treat. It's a small but quiant and very charismatic venue tucked just off of Covent Garden. We shared a couple of meat and cheese platters and the baked fig camembert was just heavenly! the quality of the food was top notch and whilst don't expect large portions of everything, it is more than enough to fill you up. Just need an excuse to come back!

Staff were not very welcoming when we first arrived but they had literally just opened the door so maybe that is unfair! By the time we left they had given us a good service overall.
J. M.A genuinely worthwhile speciality shop-- a labour of love from ther owner, on a one-woman mission to bring better (and more interesting!) champagne to the UK.
I say worthwhile for a few reasons. One, I actually did find out new things about champagne and had champagne that was genuinely different from any I'd tasted before, with this explained to me by the owner with enthusiasm and... well, joy. Two, it's worthwhile because she's bringing in smaller champagne growers, all champagne that is is made on the vineyard, by the people who own the vineyard, rather than big companies. Champagne has so much tradition behind it, but the champagne here also includes (comparative) newbies, as well as traditional growers. That's probably part of why what she sells is instantly, noticeably different to anything else you'd find, even the expensive brands, elsewhere.
The third is the price-- seriously, even the most expensive stuff here, I would expect to pay about three times as much. Except I wouldn't pay three times as much, because I couldn't justify that (I could maybe get a £50 bottle for a present or an ultra special occasion, but I wouldn't and couldn't spend £100 on one, you know?). Doing a champagne & cheese tasting here actually meant that I not only found out about new-to-me, special imports that I would never have even known about before, but it also meant that I could, theoretically, buy them after.
T. S.Champagne + Fromage in Covent Garden is an amazing French champagne and cheese shop. We couldn't tell if we were in London or Paris! They serve an ever-changing 25 varieties of champagne (£8 a glass), and an amazing selection of French cheeses. Also Check out their weekly tastings!

G.French Bubbles is a lovely French boutique retailer of delicious cheese and independent grower champagne - the decor is charmingly rustic, with rows of bottles on the walls and make-shift chandeliers made out of glasses. I came here for a champagne and cheese pairing which was fantastic; Maud was so knowledgeable and passionate about her business that I left surprised to have learnt so much about how quality champagne is produced and tasted. The best bit? The 'Brillat Savarin jeune' cheese which was the creamiest brie I've ever tasted - delicious!
