G. B.Really nice find in this new London Docks development. Only a couple of phases of the development are complete so it a bit quiet (which I like). The place overlooks the fountains of Gauging Square. It's a peaceful setting. I tried their brunch menu and had the poached egg with mushroom. Really enjoyed it. My friend had the poached eggs with avocado on toast and highly recommended that as well. Highly recommend this as the service is great as well.

F. D.This is a great place to meet up for drinks. Good range of champagne from small producers. For connoisseurs, the champagne menu gives details of the different grape compositions and dosage each which is really helpful, if you know what you like. Friendly staff, but service was slow.

The staff was incredibly attentive and Paul was so lovely and accommodating, he always made sure we were happy with our preordered food choices and accommodated the cake for my friends 21st when a lot of other restaurants we looked at wanted £10 to look after and cut the cake(ridiculous). J. D. T.A real gem in Wapping. As others have commented the food is amazing and service impeccable. Dishes are presented in a lovely way as well and there is, naturally, a wide selection of champagnes to choose from. A new favourite!
H. D.Friendly staff and nice beer selection. The food was okay, the eggs were underdone but the pancakes were delicious. The service was a little slow, which would have been less of a problem if it hadn’t been so cold outside I suspect! The prices were reasonable.
V. V.Excellent experience at Shampagne Route. Visited today with my wife and child. We ordered pan fried salmon and duck brast. It tastes fresh and really amazing. Also our child tried ice cream and we tried little bit to. Very good taste. Most of restaurants use ice cream from shops like tesco or asda or farmfood but at Shampagne Route it taste like home made ice cream really luxury taste! Definetly best recommendations. Next time will come back for champagne tasting!

T. P.We visited this place for a late Sunday lunch, and it was fantastic. Our host was very helpful when selecting the Champagne - which were mostly unfamiliar to us, as they were not the mainstream houses. The food was really nice and reasonably priced. One of dishes we selected was not what we expected when it came out... but it was, as the menu described (the perils of reconciling our own mental picture with the chefs end product!). That being said, it exceeded our expectations and was lovely!
Great place, intimate and great food and Champagne. We will visit again.
M. M.What a wonderful restaurant! A stylish, airy, bright location with great food and fantastic drinks. The owner Paul is a lovely host and provides a wonderful service. We ordered a selection of nibbles before sharing starters and enjoying our mains and we all enjoyed everything. The dark pate on the charcuterie was particularly lovely I found. I would recommend and definitely return.

The food was presented so beautifully and tasted fantastic, we even enjoyed a bottle of champagne which was on offer for their Champagne of the week.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough, affordable prices in a luxury setting.
A. S.My partner and I have been here three times now and we have loved each visit - it has become a 'go to' place for a Friday wind-down. Being champagne novices, Paul (the owner) was incredibly helpful in guiding us around the menu and carefully explaining the differences in each glass we ordered. He was very polite and knowledgeable and made all our visits memorable. This place is for everyone, not just the champagne lovers (my first drink was an excellent pepper gin and rose tonic)!
We also tried the food on one of our visits. As the restaurant is quite new, we were in two minds about what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed every bite.

Goes without saying the drink selection is great, and not just for champagne. There's really nice seating outside, overlooking the water fountains. Really happy it's opened in the neighborhood.

D. 8.Brilliant place for a glass of fizz and the food is amazing too. We have been in several times to have drinks with friends - often tempted by a snack we have tried the cheese platter and oysters in the restaurant. All delicious - the owner Paul is brilliant and happy to give you his recommendations. With recent lockdown, I was my fiancé’s birthday and I was struggling to work out what we could do. Paul at champagne route saved the day - I enquired and he sent me several options for delivery and even ordered oysters in for us. The menu Paul suggested could not have been more perfect - two meat options and a fish main. We opted for oysters, followed by beef and salmon tartare, with fillet of beef and confit duck for mains. The oysters were delivered on ice with garnish/dressings and tasted so fresh. All the food prepared was so tasty!! Restaurant standard, delivered with a personal touch - this place is an absolute gem! The cremant is also a lovely alternative to a champagne. Very surprised to see a handful of negative reviews, very unfitting from what we have experienced on multiple trips in to the restaurant.
