I had my 30th Birthday at Chiringuitos last Saturday. We had a really good time, the team set up a really nice BBQ for us and even outsourced some extra things I wanted to make it even more special. I'd always heard great things about this place and booked it recently for my partner's surprise bday - best decision I made! They pulled out all the stops to make the evening really special. Outstanding service from all the staff with a special thank you to Luis, Pedro, Joao, Rodrigo and the kitchen staff - food was DELICIOUS and a great selection in their group package! Not once did I need to find a member of staff all night - they were super attentive and incredibly friendly - not many places go above and beyond like this place does! It was a wonderful experience, we went there for breakfast, the waiter was so grateful, professional and also funny. I ordered the Chiringuito's breakfast which was so complete and delicious. Stumbled across this place by accident on our way to an event and so glad we did! The location, setting, food, wine and service were all exceptional! They've only been open for 7 weeks but have delivered in every way! Recommend the Savignon, Octopus, Prawns & Padron Peppers, all delicious! We sat on the rooftop area with great views of Museum Park and Bethnal Green and the beautiful church clock tower - couldn't believe we were in London! The DJ was set up but we couldn't stay for this.

Popped in here for a beer on Euro 2020 Final day. Had a great atmosphere, TVs set up everywhere! Location "in" the park is really nice and quite unusual actually by London standards. I had my 30th birthday party at Chiringuito and had a very positive experience! Their back outdoor area is perfect for groups: lots of space, well ventilated, lots of picnic table seating and it has a big marquee tent in case the weather turns bad. Rodrigo and all the staff were very friendly and helpful over email leading up to the event and during the evening of. They also have great cocktails and tapas plates which are easy to share for groups. I can highly recommend this place for birthdays or group events!

I celebrated my birthday at Chiringiuito on Friday and couldn't be happier! Luis and the team were so responsive and made the night perfect! The roof terrace is so beautiful and they made sure our big group was well accommodated. The service was amazing - and everyone loved the food and drinks. I would definitely recommend Chiringuito for after-work drinks, or if you want to celebrate a special occasion! Thank you very much for everything!

Had lunch here, very overpriced for a poor meal. I cant speak to an evening experience but the lunchtime food is certainly not worth it. I had partially inedible pancakes (too tough to chew through), though the chicken salad my partner had was okay but still not great. Adding a star as I realise that they are mainly an evening place and they probably have a stronger team on later.

The amazing location must carry this place. While the food isn’t bad it was also not great. Very obvious everything is pre cooked and simply heated (although parts were still lukewarm) to order. Myself and my wife were walking past Chiringuito whilst on our way home and could smell the delicious food being prepared on their rooftop dining area. We enquired if they could possibly find a table for 2 even though we obviously had no prior booking. A lovely member of staff by the name of Samira went out of her way to find us a 2 hour impromptu table reservation. We were greeted by the personable Hector. Upon his recommendation I had the Full English Brunch and my wife the vegetarian option with accompanying glass’s of red wine, again recommended by Hector. All absolutely satisfying and delicious. Our thanks also to the indefatigable Nero who prepared all the food. We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Average food, friendly service, tasty cocktails although don't even feel tipsy after three so assume they're not strong. Annoying having to endure our meal next to obnoxious people who shouted loudly with no consideration for anyone else in the restaurant - also it was so cold inside we had to wear coats (in September!).

Really enjoyed sitting outside on the edge of the park. The cafe is very pretty and the service very speedy. The breakfast must be one of the tastiest in London, so good, and the coffee, divine! This place is in the perfect location! I would always pop in here to get a coffee on my way to Bethnal Green station, which is literally a 30 second walk away! They have seating inside and outside and are right on the door step of a cute little park. I have never eaten here so can’t comment on the food. It is very clean inside. The people working here are friendly. It’s a bit pricey and make sure to order a bigger drink size as there regular sizes would definitely be considered small anywhere else!

This restaurant is one of a kind. It’s an absolute gem, perfectly placed right next to Bethnal Green underground station. Oh and it has an awesome roof terrace that over looks the park with comfy seating and bar area. The drinks menu is comprehensive with bespoke cocktails, loads of gins, great wine and perfect beer. The food has been well thought out, taking classic Spanish tapas to a whole new level. The chef clearly takes care and attention in every dish because all elements were cooked and placed to perfection. We stayed here all night and didn’t want to leave. The atmosphere was electric and guests seemed to be having a great time. This place is a must visit, perfect for chilling out and relaxing plus you may even see one or two celebs. Keep up the good work! Highly recommended.

Its not often i write reviews but just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dave, Jasmine, B and all the staff at Chiringuito for making my wife's birthday celebration a night to remember. There isn't a bar like it in the area and the rooftop terrace was a perfect setting for 30+ people. Great food and drinks selection. The hospitality topped off a quality night! We'll definitely be back!

On summer time on the roof top you feel the breeze between 5 and 9pm, surrounded by trees and cool people!It is a tapas bar, you do want get drunk and enjoy it with friends!

Honestly it's a bit rocky but the staff do whatever they can to smooth it out, I've been twice and i have to admit it needs more organising. YES they are short on staff but they still manage to work under pressure and give great customer service!! Live locally so stopped by on our way past. Lovely decor but not quite finished. Still some bare wire hanging from the ceiling etc. Hopefully these will be fixed in the near future. For such a small venue with so few people it was very loud. My friend and I had to raise our voices to be heard by the bar staff. We were approached by a waitress and offered a table, despite only wanting drinks - very nice of them. We ordered drinks and some patatas bravas - we decided that if they were good then we’d come back another time to try more food. The bravas came in less than 3 minutes. The potatoes were delicious and crispy and the sauce was fresh and velvety. However the drinks (2 cocktails) took much longer! We were almost finished our food when the drinks finally arrived. Neither were worth the wait. Overall, it’s a nice new venue and the staff are friendly but the drinks aren’t worth the time or the price.

Where do I start, what an amazing night out. An incredible selection of drinks to start especially the gins, followed by delicious food had to try the potato’s bravas that everyone was raving about and it lived up to the hype. This cute little restaurant is located conveniently just outside Bethnal Green tube station. It has both indoor seatings on the street level & roof top openair seatings above it. We only had lunch ordered from a rather limited menu but to be fair the sandwiches & salad were well prepared. Price was a bit high though.

I soooo want this place to be successful. I work just round the corner and this is just what we need. I've been a number of times over the last year and it's inconsistent. It's good for drinks or coffee but the food is disorganised, slow and often they don't have half the stuff on the menu. It has the potential to be great - it just need some strong organisation and management. Let's hope my next visit is better.

What a great venue to meet up with friends for a coffee, fabboo cocktails and food. Oh boy - the gin cocktail with grapefruit is lovely. I occasionally drop in to have an impromptu meal at this place - and it never fails to deliver. Though I'm still not sure what to call it: is it a cafe, a bar, a lounge? Or all of the above? But it sure turns into something exquisite at night. Oh, and they make hands down the best Iced Americano this side of town!

It is said a ‘chiringuito’ is a relaxed, informal enterprise, usually a bar, selling drinks, tapas and small plates often in a temporary structure. This moveable feast delivers exactly as it says on the tin and instead of being temporary will surely become a permanent fixture in London’s hip East End. On the rooftop terrace overlooking the junction with people busy attending to their Saturday night festivities whilst ensconced in leafy museum gardens and flanked by the listed St Johns Church, one is transported to the sand swept beaches of Playa Nova Icaria, Barcelona rather than Bethnal Green where this super cool bar actually resides. Inside you’ll find a real gem with the urban decor of exposed brickwork amd art surrounded by sheets of solid glass highlighting a trendy yet cool and relaxed place to dine and drink with your closest friends. Your culinary journey will begin with bespoke gin and end with House favourite churros via Pollo Pachamanca (baby chicken), Meijillones a La CRIOLLA (mussels) and of course the delectable triumvirate of Peppers Padron, Chorizo and Pan Con Tomate. The impressive ceviche is a playful yet mysterious little dish. The service is truly outstanding with attentive and friendly staff ready to help you navigate the Iberian menu with ease. This bar restaurant is a must see and I look forward to visiting again and again for many years to come - you will love it!

This is a new venture and idea to London and Bethanl Green amd only opened on Wednesday. With any new start always teething problems to work through until the balance is right and with the roof top option soon to be added this will be a gem in Bethnal Green. The food is of high quality, fresh and well prepared and really tasty. The drinks menue is varied and different and with a real Spanish vibe and a great location in Bethnal Green. Staff are really committed and still working through the usual teething challenges with the full menu being available soon to include the Pizza selections and looking forward to trying the interesting breakfast options in the future. A real community asset to Bethnal Green and a perfect experience - we will return and enjoy the full experience- to include the roof top.

The not so hidden GEM of Bethnal Green! RIGHT NEXT TO Bethnal Green tube station. I have watched this site develope over the years from a run down and closed public toilet block...to a fantastic and vibrant restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and tappas...with coffee, cake, drinks and snacks in between! GOOD and creative food, GREAT selection of beverages, delivered by happy and helpful staff. Makes me want to move back to Bethnal Green.

I popped in on the way to a BBC recording of a comedy pilot at the nearby Backyard Comedy Club. Chiringuito is really conveniently located just by Bethnal Green tube and Museum Gardens. It looked bright and modern but not garish; a tad continental maybe - and definitely inviting for a quiet G&T after a long journey. I wasn't that familiar with most of the gins on offer, so I tried Brixton Gin. Wow! I think this is my new favourite. Very floral. The staff were friendly, the toilets clean, and mostly couples having a quiet drink - so not a rowdy place. Ideal for an early evening drink in the fading light. :-) P.S. I since read some of the reviews - hard to believe some of them; I thought it was a really nice place.
