Cinnamon Tree is a great restaurant - the food is amazing. I recommend their garlic naan and muttar paneer. The staff are also very friendly and the outside seeding is really good in the summer. The only think I would recommend is for them to get more Indian desserts on the menu as they only have ice cream at the moment - would have loved to see some ras malai or laddus as well. I would definitely come here again!

We used to come here a lot but in recent years have been distracted by all the other great places on Exmouth Market. Gave it a try last week & it’s just as fantastic as before. Very good service & really good Indian food in the classic Uk tradition. Highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent. The service is flawless. Attentive, friendly and far beyond many of the more expensive restaurants locally. The food is delicious, fantastic variety and again the staff are brilliant at making recommendations. A generous round of brandy on the house at the end was a neat touch from one of my new favourite Indian restaurants. If you’re thinking about it, stop, just go.

Straight up good old fashioned curry house. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did! Smart, clean and comfortable restaurant. Lovely polite staff. Aaaand the food is top drawer. No pretentious squiggly bits of jus or elaborate decorations, JUST GOID HONEST TASTY FOID!! I'LL BE BACK!😊

I would like to mention how satisfied I am with their customer service. I really felt so bad just entering the place where they are few minutes away from closing. I really know how it feels because I worked at customer service in retail for 26 years. I had no choice just to ask if it was possible to get some biryani as every food place are closed. The staff was so polite and kind with big smile made me and my daughter 2 biryani it was with boneless and clean meat with no fat and must mention the food was really worth the money, it was really nice and tasting so freash on top they also gave vegetable curry. My family have decided to go back again.

We had ordered food as I was feeling lazy not to cook, and I must say I didn't regret ordering, as the food was above and beyond our expectations, so delicious 😋, the staff who took the order really took care and made sure the food came how I wanted, I would definitely recommend this amazing place. Hats off to the chef and the staffs who take pride and passion in delivering such great service. Sorry never get round to take pictures as food goes straight in the tummy. Try out the prawns its full of flavour my fav from here is prawn biryani and any food that is spicy.

Wasn't planning to eat out in this restaurant but because a lot of the restaurants closed up early in this market we had little choice so we decided to go in. We was overwhelmed with the warm welcome by the staff. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of this restaurant and when we got our food, the taste was spot on. Really enjoyed our visit. I work for a university and during lockdown we wanted to provide a takeaway night for the 18 students living in our halls. Cinnamon tree was fantastic to work with. They were able to cater to different dietary requirements and handle quite a large order. Everything was piping hot and clearly labeled when it arrived making the food easy and quick to separate for each "Household" group. The students loved all of the food. Thanks Cinnamon Tree!

This restaurant is an excellent example of a small business getting it right. The staff serving were attentive, but not too intrusive. The food itself was tasty & well presented while not being pretentious. Everything was also at an excellent price (especially for London). I was dubious when I walked in, but definitely satisfied when I walked out.

Food is great, been here a couple of times and they're good with large group bookings over lunch which they dealt with well. No lunch deals, but the food is reasonably priced, about what you'd expect from any other decent curry place. Only negative is the staff can seem a bit apathetic at times. Little bit more care from the staff instead of them.b begrudingly doing what they should do and it would be a 5/5.

Amazing service and food. Having been in the Exmouth Arms before there are a number of restaurants in the market to go to, having decided upon Cinnamon Tree we were treated to an amazing selection of food. We maybe went in less than 30 minutes before closing but we weren't rushed out of the door. The waiters were polite and explained some of their eclectic dishes and because it was quiet would chat to me and my friends. I base most of my Indian reviews on the mixed grill and the one they served was amazing, I will definitely be going back. They also took Tastecard so managed to get 50% off the food.

The best curry house in London, hands down. My wife and I are returning customers and have been for 2 years now because we cannot find a curry house (and we've tried) that beats Cinnamon Tree. The staff are absolutely fantastic - big smiles, attentive and incredibly polite. The food, is second to none. There is a stunning but delicate sweetness to their milder dishes that I haven't experienced anywhere else and all the dishes including the hotter ones as well, are full of depth. The chefs should be acknowledged for their consistent and top quality dishes. The FOH staff should be acknowledged for making you feel so comfortable. *****

Ordered online via their site which was very easy. I got a lamb rogan josh, pilau rice and peshwari naan for immediate collection which was ready as soon as I got to the restaurant which is 5 minutes away. The food was excellent, much more flavour and taste than I have experienced in a curry and a mild amount of heat which is spot on for a rogan josh. Also they do not go overboard on the portion sizes, its a good amount for the price unlike some places that charge more but give you too much. I'll defiantly be eating in next time, the interior looked good and the staff friendly, even when collecting a takeout

We am so lucky to have this as our local! We come regularly and are never disappointed. Ordered our favourites tonight - garlic chilli chicken (HOT! but in a nice way) laal gosht (lamb curry with pumpkin medium hot) and chicken tikka (mild, nicely marinated, beautifully cooked) and sides of saag paneer and bhindi bhajee, garlic naan. Usually start with a few popadoms (advisable!) but didn't have time tonight as had to make it to Sadlers Wells for 7:30 curtain. Very reasonably priced wine list, good selection of bottled beers as you would expect at a proper Indian place.
