Reviews of Comptoir Libanais
E. M.
The staff were friendly and the food was delicious here. The inside however is what really stands out. It is superbly well decorated, clean, and perfect for picture lovers and those who love posting on their social media. I would definitely recommend this place.
B. T.
Excellent food and service. There were loads of vegetarian and drink options, and everything we ordered (hummus, halloumi and tomato, wraps, cocktails) were excellent. It’s also conveniently located next to London Bridge Station, though this does mean it can get busy so recommend booking in advance.
M. M.
Absolutely gorgeous inside. The staff were lovely! Good food. Good drinks! Lemonades are delicious! Price was great too. Just go!
R. R.
What a lovely decor and interiors. Ample amount of seating on the ground and first floor. Interiors are adorned with flowers and local artifacts. Very clean washrooms.
Service was quick and prompt. I asked for a alternation to the order and they were able to do it. Drinks were fabulous however the main dish seemed a tad underwhelming.
I was expecting the Tajin to be cooked from scratch and it seemed more like a mashup of pre cooked ingredients.

We really love to have food here. Food never disappointed and lovely ambiance. Each month they have some special menu which is amazing. Best place to have libanais food. This place is always busy so plan your visit with prior booking. Highly recommended!!
J. M.
Nice decor, pretty good food, friendly welcome just a pity that when I order a wrap without tomatoes they bring me one with .. yet the waitress noted it well on the voucher so it's not her fault but the chef in the kitchen maybe he should read his order forms better, especially since it's not as if there were 50 people to serve... When the waitress realized this she asked me if I wanted them to redid my order correctly so I said yes but she came back telling me that it was finally not possible without justifying why ... Not professional ... especially since I vomit when I eat tomatoes! Anyway, it's still a great discovery for the first time I've eaten Lebanese.

I would like to give a higher rating but considering food I can not. Well designed interior with a feminine vibe. Good selection of music. The service was fast and friendly. The food is well presented but a bit bland. I was quite disappointed. My Lamb Kofta Tagine tasted like it was coming from the microwave or at least reheated.
B. A.
As an Arab from the Levant region, I was very skeptical walking into this restaurant, and it blew me away. The staff are incredibly courteous and everything, I mean everything (the hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, and samboussek to mention a few) taste as if you’re eating it in the heart of Beirut. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone craving anything Mediterranean.
N. S.
Colourful, inviting, warm service. Seems that many artifacts there are for sale. Worth the stop if you're in the area
N. T.
Really loved having lunch here..The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very chilled...we only ordered some starters but were not pushed or made to feel uncomfortable. Staff were so friendly and the food was delicious so will definately be going back again 😋

Stopped there yesterday for a dessert, since everything else was closed. The place looks amazing, incredible colorful decoration, awesome staff, excellent sweets.
Unfortunately they didn't have the baklava, but the ice-cream brownie and the cheesecake were fantastic, with stunning decorations on top!
The place is "Scan-the-QR-to-order", but we were not told that when we sat at our table. It might be nice for the staff to let people know.
Also, some options were not available from the menu, which the waiter mentioned once we placed the order. Since such system is in place, where you cannot order by speaking to a human being, the restaurant should consider updating the availability of their menu items accordingly. Those two negatives don't reduce our overall experience.
Tip: Go upstairs to the loo, you don't need to use it, just admire the decoration!
J. P.
Great place. Good food. Glad to be back after the pandemic. The service was excellent and safety protocols followed. We tried the babaghanous and the shish taouk for mains. The portions were really big. The Baklawas were amazing. Would definitely recommend.
J. P.
Stopped off for lunch before an appointment and little tight on time. Service was prompt and our food came very quickly. Both dishes were very tasty, we even stayed for dessert! The outrageous decor was fascinating. The staff were great, the loos clean, too. I would certainly recommend
S. D.
We have become regulars at this great eatery. The food is delicious and very promptly served. The staff are super-friendly and efficient. The décor sweeps you away from dull London skies to a flowery bower in a fantasy Arabia. Proper Lebanese music too!

We visited for the first time on a gloomy, rainy Saturday and the interior and decor really cheered us up. Service was very quick, maybe abit too quick at times. We were seated for about 30 seconds before the waiter asked us if we were ready to order. We'd barely glanced at the menu so told him to give us 3 minutes! We ordered homous and flatbread (both good) for starters. Whilst we were in the middle of eating the starters the waiter asked us if we were ready for the mains again we said to give us 5 minutes or so. More or less after the starter plates were cleared the main was served! We had Chicken tagine with vermicelli rice (very bland and watery) and Chicken taouk (taste was good, but quite dry).
Desserts were brownie and ice cream (good, but brownie abit dry and needed warming up) and Orange Blossom Mouhalabia (really bland and disappointing). On the other hand the drinks were really good. Not sure we'd go again after this it was certainly a lovely place to be in such a shame about the food. Maybe it's better just for drinks and nibbles?
A. A.
Lovely atmosphere 😍, yummy grill platter and halummi we had and the flavor of the sauces came as a lovely suprise to me. More photos coming on my next visit.
P. A.
Raedy for some quick Lebanese food at London bridge station? This place is for you. It has nice decorations, friendly staff and fresh food. Yes, they have fafal and baklawa too.
S. L.
It was my 1st visit to the famous Comptoir Libanais at London Bridge. And my gosh it was such a great experience. The restaurant is full of colours, and photos of most of the celebrities, politicians and sportspersons wearing the Lebanese 🇱🇧 Hats!
I had the delicious Mezze Platter 😋👌🏻, full of Falafel with Pita Bread, Tabouleh, Hummus and Baba Ghanoush.
Service is extremely good and fast.
A bit over-priced to my liking, an additional Service Tax and then VAT is a bit too much.
It was a great one though, worth a visit once again! May be to the one at Liverpool Street.
T. G.
Fantastic food and drinks. The food even looks like a piece of art.
They have some sets available outside of the shop. Chose a day with nice weather, have a light lunch and a glass of drink that is super fantastic.
The shop is good for photo shooting, very special and bright style.
I love this restaurant and always have lunch here with my colleagues. My favorite good is fish. Perfect cooking.
V. Y.
Loved everything about this place!!! The atmosphere is amazing and the place looks great inside. The food tasted delicious, literally everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Staff was really friendly and attentive to everything even though we had a large booking of approximately 12 people.
Would definitely recommend visiting it. Was not disappointed.
D. S.
Stopped in for an early lunch on Saturday. The food was extremely tasty and the servings were generous, the lemonade was so good I ended up ordering a second. The service was very friendly and attentive, amongst the best I've encountered in London. Paid under £50 for two courses, drinks and service and it was worth every penny.
M. B.
Amazing food, some very different cocktails, attentive staff and the most beautiful colourful decor! Definitely recommended for both dates and friends.
K. V.
Lovely place to eat. Friendly Staff 😊❤️
R. A.
The waitress was friendly and helpful, so an hour after ordering we followed her and part of our order was brought. The mezze for 2 was good but I could not detect sumac in the sumac potatoes. After another half hour we followed the waitress again and the 3rd person's order was brought, with an apology. The decor is great and I liked the Bekaa Valley wine but the delays rather marred the evening. Fortunately the relevant trains were still running when we left.
R. H.
Wow! Popped in here for a bite to eat at lunchtime and enjoyed the lamb mince wrap with chips and a soft drink for £8.
Was very surprised at the flavours in the wrap- great combination of subtle ingredients and good quality meat resulting in a mouth watering taste, I was also very happy with the generous portion of chips which tasted fresh. A seriously delicious meal.
J. M.
Bought the meal. The food came quickly and the staff were friendly. The fries were really good and the garlic aioli was really flavourful. The wrap itself was ok the falafel were spicy and had a nice texture.
D. G.
Nice atmosphere and very good service. Also, food was delicious! Definitely recommend!
S. A.
The food and drinks were delicious (yummy vegetarian options), great relaxed atmosphere and I wanted to give a special mention to our waitress Jasmin as she was so friendly and provided us with an amazing service. Would definitely recommend to friends and will be coming back :)
M. A.
Good quality and tasty food, the service was excellent, very prompt and friendly staff even though it was picking up at Sunday lunch time.
C. J.
Food and setting was OK, but unfortunately rude and unhelpful staff ruined it for us. The manager apologised at the end, which softened the blow, but service-wise, as soon as the mains were on the table we were forgotten about. And then our catch-up time with some old friends was interrupted by 2 staff chucking / cleaning cutlery and shouting over the clammering and clunking as they did it right next to our table for 20+ mins. They were so loud we couldn’t hear each other at all, despite sitting next to each other. When we kindly asked them to do it on another table further away or in the back of the kitchen so we could talk to one another, we were told ‘what do you expect, this is a restaurant’. Felt so taken aback by that reply - so much so we went next door for post dinner cocktails and dessert instead. Hopefully this helps improve the experience for other people and enables the staff to think about and put their future customers first.
D. A.
Food :4/5
Service:2/5 ( can definitely be improved )
The servers ignored my colleague and I on multiple occasions and this was not just happening with our table. That being used be rest assured that everything else worked well. A bit pricey but still would recommend it for it's location , close proximity to the station and the fact that it is Arabic cuisine.
R. S.
Went there yesterday evening for dinner for the first time. Sat upstairs, really amazing service and food! We had vegetarian mezze (falafel, halloumi, baba ganoush, hummus, fattoush and fries) lemonade and rose tea, all delicious! The falafel and fries especially hit the spot. I work opposite this place, will definitely be my new go to when I want some yummy Lebanese, may even have a cheeky takeaway lunch when next in the office!
T. T.
tasty food. quick service. had a bit of problem ordering from the app but managed to order with them directly
S. V.
Amazing dinner and service. The food was good and the ambience is also very pleasing and relaxing. Decor is excellent!
V. C.
Our waitress was so amazing, our table fell inlove with her. Wish I knew her name but she wore a gorgeous headscarf.
Food was good, very limited for a vegan which Is my only niggle
M. B.
A friend chose this place to go for dinner and the three of us were really very pleased. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. Restaurant offers options for all tastes: in our group there was a vegan, a vegetarian and a meat eater. We all went home very satisfied, ate delicious food in a cozy environment. The decor of the place is amazing, busy decoration and yet not overwhelming in my opinion. Friendly service. Would definitely come back.
K. O.
Comptoir Libanais is one of the most unique and beautiful restaurants I've been. Normally you come to a restaurant to eat but here, you also come to see the interiors! Also, Ziad is also very helpful and accomodating 🙂 Wonderful experience and food was amazing and good for the price 🙂
s. S.
The restaurant was really good , the food needs a bit more flavour it was a bit dry however the waitress all were amazing and friendly and helpful always smelling and thank you so much Ambra
M. A.
Stopped by after a meeting for a quick bite and drink with a close mate...warmly welcomed even though I didn't have an reservation. Food was served very promptly and the ambience as good.
F. A.
Absolutely stunning decoration work.
It beats some art museums as space to sit and simply enjoy what you can see around you.
Hands down one of the best visual experiences you can have at a restaurant.
It gets 10 stars on looks.
10 people having dinner on Monday night.
The service was impeccable.
We got full attention, recommendations, explanation and Speedy Gonzales drinks and dishes all the time.
Great service!
The food was.... OK and here is the only problem.
This type of food is not that unique in London. It is basic Mediterranean and you can get variation of it in any Greek, Turkish, Marrocan, Israeli etc.
Plenty of places to get these dishes at better quality and lower price plus they would be usually VERY generous with quantity.
Cold (almost dry) pita with starters?
Starter plate for over £20 with some labane, hummus, Baba ganoush and 2 (really) falafel balls?? I know we are not in Sidon but it will take more than pomegranate and some sumac to justify the prices.
Mains (I had mixed grill) was bland compare to grilled meat you would get in almost any Turkish restaurant in town.
I would suggest either calm down with the prices or bring the food quality up to justify the prices.
F.
Amazing restaurant, amazing food, and amazing service! We throughly enjoyed our lunch here today
N. S.
This is an excellent place to come and relax and enjoy fantastically well made &
Interesting middle eastern food. Our waitress Camelia was very welcoming, friendly, warm hearted & efficient. Just one thing: could evening lighting be on a dimmer & turned down a little to make the place feel even more atmospheric? Thanks - we will be back :)
D. M.
We went for annual meal it was a big group of us. The food was not to bad.
The portions are a good side.
The service was lacking a bit kept bringing the wrong drinks order. I think they struggle a bit with group's that are large.
The restaurant was quite busy the decoration are extremely bright and cheerful .
D. C.
I went there with 7 year old son when we were in London. Really friendly staff and great food.
A. S.
We love this a place great food, atmosphere and service.
I. G.
We went to this restaurant for the first time. The service was very quick and attentive. Food was tasty and portions were generous. However the restaurant was was really full and we were sitting very close to other people with not even 1 meter distance between tables. I think the restaurant should make bigger spaces between tables so everyone is safe during this pandemic and also would be nice to have a little bit of privacy during the dinner.
S. E. J.
Pedro was our server and he was lovely! Attentive, kind and both me and my friend had a great experience
A. S.
"Authentic" doesn't mean it's particularly good. Didn't enjoy the main dishes much. But the cheesecake was great, at least.
M. S.
It's a colourful, visually appealing restaurant next to London Bridge Station. Easy to find.
I tried many Libaneses and the food in this one is one of the best (except the olives, too strong and salty in my opinion). All the entrees were tasty and nicely presented. Main courses really good too.
We were quite a few of us and most of the staff were great, accommating and friendly.
The downside is that food took too long to arrive, worth the wait but still over 2h (no counting the dessert).
Also, on the upper floor can get very warm, get that in mind and they wouldn't put the air con on. We couldn't understand why.
Anyway, a place that I will totally recommend and I will go again.
W. T.
My husband & I have been here before and we like it so much that we brought my parents to to let them experience the cuisine as well. I forgot what my mom specifically ordered but I know it was chicken & rice; chicken burger for my dad; lamb wraps for both me & my husband. We all give it a thumbs up! I personally love the lemonade selection for the drinks since it got a unique twist to its taste. My husband had the rose drink, nice but too sweet according to him. The staff are also very welcoming. The layout & design of the place gives off a positive vibe, not to mention instagrammable! If you want to try out Lebanese food, I highIy recommend this place.
l. s.
It’s amazing. We’ve just popped in off the street. It’s friendly, great food brought to you by the chef and it’s fresh and sooo good. Deffo recommend.
X. M.
Such a nice restaurant I went here with my boyfriend and the waitresses was so nice to us and my boyfriend and I enjoyed it here will be coming back again soon ❤️
N. L.
Amazing food. I enjoyed their falafel and their tea. Decor is great, I loved the art and the vibe. Reasonable prices, fast service. Only complaint would be that the serving sizes are a bit small, but the taste was 10/10 so I’m still giving 5 stars.
S. C.
Lovely service, the food was so yummy and the restaurant decoration is amazing. Definitely coming back!
A. A.
There is some food (and especially Middle Eastern food) which is so good it takes your breath away. This place is...not that but the food is quite decent and the decor is lovely, so it makes for a decent option when you want to get a nice sit down meal without spending a whole lot of money.
f. c. s.
Amazing food , nice staff , a little bit to cold inside, anyway will go back anytime.
A. M.
A lovely brunch under the arches at London Bridge. A great big tasty breakfast with coffee. Lovely surrounding. Close to the station. Great service and great environment. Plenty of space and we felt unrushed. Would highly recommend
j. S.
Big flavours, great vibe, good value. All dishes were great and we had a bottle of the Lebanese white wine which was fantastic. A great night out and highly recommended.
Y. M.
Food was good and bad, really depends on what you ordered. I ordered the specials but wasn’t that great... chicken was a bit tough though the sauce is good. My friend’s vegetarian option was really good though. The decor is good but service was none existing and they brought rice instead of cous cous but we couldn’t be bothered to change it as we couldn’t even find the waiters...
S. H.
Beautiful decor as in all branches of Comptoir Libanais, with crazy colourful items, classic and modern accents.
Falafel and pita are dry, so it's not the best place to have them.
You can have a gluten free tagine which is reasonable.
N. K.
Lovely place and great food, and not that expensive
L. E.
I've never had Lebanese food knowingly but my company organised it and I couldn't fault the food or service. I mark down only because it felt too many customers per table situation cramped. But I throughly enjoyed me visit and reasonably priced as well. Thanks
S. S.
Absolutely delicious food, great staff, great prices and amazing decor. Csnt wait to go back.
S. S.
This place is a fairy tale come to life. The food is absolutely delish, and the decor transports you to a different place. It’s a must try! I tried the Spiced Chicken Kofta and the Chicken Wings. Big shout out to Ziad the manager. Ask him for the recommendations and he’s got your back.
E. I. K. K.
Great service, and the use of the app to order and get points towards a reasonable bill at the end of the meal is a great bonus! Plus, Einstein apparently goes there! 😉
K. G.
Loved it! Decor and food 5*
K. J.
Lovely decor and nice staff. We ordered few things but apart from Baba Ghanuj everything else was quite average. We found all items to be a bit too 'tomatoey' / 'lemoney' to the extent of blocking all other flavors. Will visit again to check few more dishes but for now 3*.
A. S.
Incredibly vibrant decor and central location. Ideal for chilling out in Sundays or after a long days labour. Coffee is ok; teas are good esp the mint tea with rose water. Oddly all the decor is up for sale so helped ourselves to some Turkish delight
A. P.
Excellent food, fantastic decor and really great staff. When you go, ask to sit upstairs, as the downstairs section is very cramped.
a. r.
First off - love the decor/music/feel of the place. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I had the mixed grill and a pint of Efes - the only reason for 4/5 is that I thought there would be a little bit more on the plate, the food itself was fantastic. Especially the harissa sauce!
J. M.
Theres a fun atmosphere here backed up with great food. We split the Mezze for 2 and then each had a small plate for dinner and were all satisfied. We shared a couple bottles of the Lebanese white wine which was really nice. Definitely would come back here.
A. M.
After a friend had raved about the veggie breakfast, all four of us orderd it! The mushrooms was incredible, alongside the halloumie and generous side of potatoes. The flat bread to share was a nice touch to the meal. Portion size was okay (but for £11 - after service charge). The aesthetic of the restraunt was beautiful and I would come back to try out their main menu.
C. B.
Delicious Lebanese food, multiple GF choices, helpful wait staff, very clean, and the best decor I've ever seen. What a wonderful find! We did not try the desserts, which is my only regret. Consider the sampler and mixed grill plates.
A. D.
The place is so nicely decorated and it brings out the culture on which they based the food. The food itself is delicious and the service is impeccable.
M. M.
Very well Libanais. Delicious meals and desserts. Very friendly. Free WIFI for guests. Nice interior. There is also an 2nd floor.
d. d.
If it weren't for the food, the rating would be lower. The one who took my order is so unenthusiastic to serve me. I asked if they have a bottled drink and she said no. When she gave me my order, I thanked her and she just left. So weird🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. Maybe because I look like someone who can't afford to eat there🤣
K. S.
Very busy (however dinner time next to London Bridge). The tables are way too close together so you knock stuff of other tables when trying to get in or out. Staff were good and professional, they didn't try to rush us out given how busy it was or pressure us to buy extra expensive drinks. The best bit is the food. We shared a large plate and it was all very tasty with large portions of all the elements. We order separately cheese parcels, could have eaten 100s they were so good!
M. S.
I went for iftar on a Saturday evening. The food here is always good, I got the Lamb and Halloumi Burger with spicy potatoes. The service to start was good but once you have your food it takes an age to try to get someone's attention. I managed to get one waitresses attention who said she'd be right over and never came. Service needs to improve in that regards otherwise it's a great colourful place to eat.
이.
Highly recommend! It's good choice to try Libanais food. We ordered aubergine tagine and lamb wrap. They were great. The atmosphere is also nice. Kind staffs
A. D.
Really nice decor and a web based ordering system. The mix grill was nice and well cooked. But the rest of our food was pretty bland. Chicken wraps had dry over cooked chicken. The falafel was very soft and stodgy.
G. R.
I'm sure that this restaurant is very busy during the week but I've only been here at the weekend when helpful service, delicious breakfasts and great coffee make this the perfect stop near London Bridge. I think my favourite breakfast is the shakshuka with sojok
n.
It was okay, I had the halloumi wrap and a rose lemonade, best lemonade ever but the wrap was very herbal, needed some sweetness. Everything was way too sour including the salad.
Decoration is lovely though! Perhaps a good place for a drink rather than a meal...
K. Y. J.
The service staff were really friendly and kind, and the food was lovely as well!
S. P.
Lovely Lebanese restaurant in the heart of London city. Good ambience and amazingly friendly staff. Walking distance from London Bridge station.
M.
Service was good, but unfortunately didn't have many things on the menu.
I. C.
Delicious food, served at just the right temperature and very promptly.
M. F.
Great food. I go quite regularly love the halloumi and aubergine wrap
L. H.
Great service and food was really good . Great vegetarian options too
v. o.
Nice environment, staff very attentive, ordered lunch takeaway - lamb Kofta wrap, was tasty, however portion size was small, not bulked out with a salad. Baklava was tasty, some were a bit dry. Maybe sit down meal will be a better experience.
S. S.
easy pace, friendly staff. no hard sell. value for money . my friends enjoyed the working brunch
N. A.
Lovely decor, lovely service
Special shout-out to our server Elena for going out of her way to provide an excellent service!
I. M.
Starters were good, never disappoint. The tajin was more couscous than sauces
N. B.
Gorgeous food and menu! Very reasonably priced too.
s. h.
Great food, well priced, fab service, nice vibe and right outside the station, so great transport links. Would definitely recommend
S. M.
Beautiful food, gorgeous interior and very friendly staff. Great place!
t.
First time going to this place and the service was amazing. The atmosphere and food better than we expected! Want to say a special thankyou to one of the workers didn’t get his name but was very welcoming and helpful. Overall had a great time would definitely recommend!
R. H.
Beautiful place with really quick service.. good portion size and good food. Service was good and good if you have kids as well.. to note baby station was def not safe for use and should be looked at but al in all will def go back.
D. J. M. L.
Lovely decor! Full of flowers and fun portraits of famous people with fezzes! The wraps and hummus are tasty and the place is big enough to go with groups, or cozy for a date. The falafel wrap was a bit dry
V. S.
Great food. Do check their specials on the month. This month November 2019 they do grilled halloumis with figs in rose syrup. So very delicious!
A. M. C.
I just had an eight hour flight, a one hour border entry wait, and a one hour train ride before arriving to my destination and saw this place in passing. I stepped in had their baklava medley...WOW was it delicious and I’m feeling better already! I’ll definitely be coming back for lunch and dinner!
j. b.
Flaunting an interior ensemble more colourful and bonkers than a Grayson Perry outfit. Vibey and distinct.
Eastern Mediterranean styled cuisine with enough variety to appeal to most tastes and some dietary divergent options.
The speciality lemonades are commendable, the food though not without merit and plausibly authentic ....not so memorable.
Portions tend towards the scrimpy while prices be far more inclined to excess.
Service is industry-adequate and pleasant.
E. E.
Loved it. Great ambiance, great decor, fast service and most importantly delicious food. There is a lot to try. we had the aubergine tangine and chicken wrap and both were great. I also recommend the desserts and the spiced hot chocolate. Comptoir Libanais is definitly a restaurant I will go over and over again.
Z. A.
Definitely recommend! Food menu was very diverse with lots of Lebanese specialities. Dessert menue was so good! Super nice staff!
R. O.
Loved it. Didn't expect to eat such good food here. They promised baby chicken but delivered chicken thigh though, but good food.
R. W.
A good place to eat, really good customer service, the only downside was the mixed grill is tiny for £14 something, I assumed it would be more filling also the rum and rose daiquiri tasted like perfume, however, nice place to lunch
A. F.
Very beautiful decorations and atmosphere, friendly staff, delecolious food, they have Halal food
J. M.
Great food and lovely restaurant
C. M.
Smaller portions over the years. No Lebanese red wine either, but staff at London bridge very lovely and accommodating..
J. H.
Ok-ish quality. Overpriced a bit for what you get. Food came late and was lacking key ingredients. Great ambience though.
M. C.
Such nice people serving us. Food really good at an affordable price.
H. S.
Lovely food. Excellent service. Very attentive. Colourful place for lunch
J. A.
One of the kebabs tasted like how I expect perfume to taste
M.
Great atmosphere and decorations are amazing. Food good quality and delicious, a bit expensive but worth a treat
S. C.
Very nice food 😋 the staff is really lovely.
J. H.
Starters were lovely. Forgot our main course and do we asked to change to desert instead they forgot that too.
Great food, but service could be better organised.
Z. V.
Great service, food and ambience!
M. H.
Food is okay , place is lovely- waitress was also very nice. Loved the little room with flowers.

Lovely ambiance, friendly staff, it has really nice and colourful decorations. However, the lamb tagine I ordered was disappointing, a lot of water on the plate, most likely a frozen dish, and the lamb meatballs were cold in the middle, so besides being a frozen dish it wasn't even heated properly. The desserts were quite tasty, specially the traditional mouhallabieh.
H. H.
Nice food, but quite tight spacing between tables
C. W.
Special place, very Delicious Food! I wish i could come back again, recommend to come to Germany too.
A. E.
Liked the food, good selection, nice service and the route to the toilets is very insta worthy if that is your thing!! Spent the evening eyeing up some of the items they had for sale.
T. N.
Really colorful place so much to see nice Lebanese food must try is the baklava

Absolutely incredible. Amazing food, decent prices, lovely service. 10/10

Very nice place. Coffee is nice, baklava is exceptional and you should absolutely try the Danish with pistachio and pomegranate seeds.

Pros
Really tasty delicious food, Very good attentive service.
Cons
All customers packed into the front area of the restaurant with the front door wide open.
Ate lunch with our coats on.
Weren't allowed to sit at the back of the restaurant with no explanation why. Would make sense to spread people out.
Prices overly expensive.
The chicken tagine, although delicious was a very small portion.
And the meze to share £19:95 is way too much money.
No lamb available.
£43.95 for a starter to share and one main to share, for lunch is criminal!

Pleasant and interesting place for quick lunch
D. J. M. L.
Lovely decor! Full of flowers and fun portraits of famous people with fezzes! The wraps and hummus are tasty and the place is big enough to go with groups, or cozy for a date. The falafel wrap was a bit dry

Really good food
Good table service
V. O.
Beautiful location and decor, great atmosphere and background music. Had an amazing time because of the service received. The staff was so friendly and helpful, always smiling and talking to us she worked hard and was sad to see that the supervisor refused to give her the service charge applied to our bill (she deserved every penny) after complaining it did happened...
A.
Cute and colourful place, lovely staff but just not a big fan of the food.
D.
Went in for dinner. Friendly service but unfortunately the food tasted average.
p. k.
What made me go to this place is the decor and ambience. The food is brilliant. I went here with my sister and we had such a lovely time, the food is very tasty, we had a lamb wrap and chicken mousakka. It was beautifully cooked, very soft and was served with rice and salad. I will go back to eat here again. The ambience is stunning, high ceilings, bright colours, wall graphics, bold patterned tiles.
I. M.
Excellent Lebanese and middle Eastern cuisine. Great choice and reasonable price. Nice vibe and bright atmosphere. Perfect for a couple or a friend's group. The Lamb Burger and Mixed grill are excellent. The Rose tea is the perfect way to end the meal with some nutty Baklava. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Ask for Yusra the waitress!
M. B. Z.
Food was lovely and COVID-19 measures were in place. Would definitely like to go there again.
M. H.
Amazing food... The place is so much you think you are in a wonderful carnival... Service is friendly and the food yummy. I am hooked
A. C.
So good! The spiced hot choc 👌🏼
M. S.
The food here is quite wonderful, i ordered some chicken wings and kofta, which tasted great and the aesthetic was incredible. However the service was quite appalling, yes the people serving us were nice, however the drinks only arrived after we reminded them that we ordered drinks, after our food had already arrived. Later one of the people sitting at our table dropped their knives, so we asked for a new one, which never showed up, so we had to wait for someone to finish eating, so they could wipe their knife off clean and hand it over to the one who dropped it. We weren't sure whether it was because they were understaffed or something, but there was clearly a problem.
K.
I have always loved the food at Comptoir. However, when I visited yesterday some of the meats of my mixed grill were quite dry. Moreover, we had a large table and it was clear the restaurant was not equipped to deal with such a large group, from getting all our food out to sorting the bill was problematic. Real shame, as I usually have had good experiences at other locations.
A. M.
Nice food, very pretty and cosy. Really friendly staff.
P. M.
I've been here today for the first time. Amazing food, staff polite, professional and clean. I felt like at home. The place is so pretty and well presented. A big thanks To Mara. She was so kind. I recommend it.
D. S.
I had the vegan feast today which did not disappoint! the food was beautiful. But the waiting staff did not seem enthusiastic at all and were just slumped with miserable faces. The table was not cleaned between my starter and main and I waited 45 minutes between main and dessert after the waiter had to be prompted which was ok as I was chatting to a friend. I would still return as the food was great but the staff could use more enthusiasm as they were bringing the atmosphere of such a great venue down.
m. g.
Food was excellent and service was friendly. There was some mix up where I think someone misread Halloumi on the order that resulted in some extra Hummus on the house.
J. J.
good food, amazing waitress, hilarious moments
P. S.
Ambience is amazing with very positive vibes inside, and food was superb.
H. M.
Really enjoyed my visit to this branch of CL. Really good service. Staff engaged but not overly intrusive. Food as excellent as always including the Middle Eastern inspired cocktails - yum. And all at a great affordable price. Heartily recommended.
I.
Loveddddd the food 😋😋😋 service was great
V. H.
Good food again. Excellent service.
Shame the "shop" has gone. Was hoping to bring home Baklava, Turkish Delight and Apple Tea.
P. S.
I like this chain of restaurants. They have a decent variety of food and desserts. The decor makes you feel like you are in Morocco. Service at this one was really slow on a busy Friday but I wouldn't blame them as it was pretty full.
A. A.
Love Lebanese cuisine. This place has a great atmosphere, the food is great and the price is reasonable too. The speed of the service is good too, gave my girlfriend and I time to talk, taking in the pictures of famous people on the wall :)
R. C.
Amazing food and lovely staff!!
M. W.
It took an age to he seated, we arrived at 7pm without a booking and had to wait about 30min. There didn't appear to appear to be anyone in charge of front of house and seemed a little chaotic. The food was great and service was fine once seated. Have been to the same restaurant in Duke of York square without any issues.
S. P.
After a 3 month break from Restaurants, I finally took the plunge to eat out during the Covid-19 situation.
Comptoir were friendly and took the proper precautions.
Staff were wearing masks and also asked for contact information.
The food was great, although a little salty.
J. F.
Mixed customer service as one lady is nice to take the order of two teapots despite she only brought one tea pot for share. Then we asked for refill of one of the Asian lady, she wasn't really happy and didn't come to our table, instead of another European lady, she kindly refilled our teapot. Nice decoration and remember they do 12.5% service charge.
A. s.
Nice food and really cute place, a bit overpriced tho, 15 gbp for a humus platter was not worthy, but the rest was great.
K. I.
Good food and nice staff. Homemade lemonade, selection of Lebanese grill and wraps, salads. Decor is superb. Consider booking in advance during rush hours as you might find it full. It's not a cheap place so prepare to spend 10-12 pounds per meal or more if you go for a grill menu. Bare in mind tips are included in the bill.
V. E.
The ambience is incredible!! We saw it from the outside and had to enter. Ziad was extremely nice, he let us sit inside a flower cage even though they were closing that area. We went there for drinks so we ordered a Vodka Lemonade which was reaaally good. They gave us complementary Lebanese desserts which were amazing too.
We will definitely come back!
M. M.
Amazing place! Tasty and fresh food
J. L.
Georgous food lively staff and good value for money 💗
E. D.
Great atmosphere and food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. There's a great range of food and drink. Service was good - only issue is was it took a while for drinks to arrive but it was very busy so that's understandable.
L. S.
I had the Shashuka with spicy sausage, which was packed with flavours, fresh tomatoes and coriander shining through. The hot chocolate was out of this world, creamy, nutty and moreish! I even loved the mint tea flavoured with rose water, and I usually hate rose water, but this was so well balanced and refreshing I ordered an additional pot!
J. A.
It was my first time to this restaurant the decor was unique I just adored the flowers the pictures on the wall and colours were just vibrant. The service I received was excellent staff were attentive polite and always had a smile. Now the food 💯👍🏼😋😋 so so so tasty lol I had a chicken dish wish was a good portion size good value for money can't wait to go back 🙂
K. M.
The food is nice but the problem is the staff. I'm allergic and asked for a dish to be amend the waiter said it is impossible as it's already maid. I asked him to ask the Chef as its easy and the element already available and other branches did it for me before, he replied: sorry it is not possible. Then I spoke to other member, she was very nice and immediately she asked the chef and sorted it out. The dish came out fresh, hot and delicious. My family asked for appetizers; it was served late even after I received my dish and one of them "kibbe" was cold which means it was cooked on time but served late.
Hope they will train their waiters other than that it was good. Thank you.
Z. T.
Very quirky restaurant, I really loved the food, the staff were super on board with the menu and were able to answer any questions. Pricewise I think it's sensible. Portions are decent and the service is fast.
T. T.
really lovely decor! good food!
C. M.
My experience was amazing, food very delicious, good portion, drinks and service as well. Hight recommended
R. B.
Very good oriental food! Specially the houmous!
f. k.
Had the lamb and halloumi burger with potatoes. Decent but nothing special. Wasn't too keen on the service. Didn't give us the tea we ordered and was in a rush to clear the table on a Wednesday evening.
A. H.
Super fast service and good food
B. A.
Slow service but good food.
L. G.
Beautiful food and very friendly staff
M. H.
M. N.
Wow what a restaurant! AMAZING food, lovely attentive staff and a decor to die for! We happened to stumble across this lovely gem on their first day of opening! I can highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Thank you Paul for making our evening a memorable one!
M. D.
Excellent Arabic food restaurant with friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
P. A. P.
Really good food and wine. The Lebamese wine is good. The rose and mint tea, also very nice. We walked around for ages looking for a place to have lunch. Definitely not disappoint.
L.
What attracted me to the restaurant is the design. The restaurant is bursting with so many patterns and colours. I had a cocktail there which I quite like, it has an alluring rose aroma. The milk pudding is quite sweet for my taste but I guess that's normal for lebanese sweet. I'd love to come back to try the main dishes
F. C.
I've absolutely enjoyed the food and service. It is a great place to go when you fancy a bit of Lebanese cuisine.
G. A.
Place and waitress were lovely some dishes were superb but another like spicy fries were awful. Those potatoes were reheat and soggy, not good. I would not recommend their spicy chips. I went to this place to have those chips as first try was amazing in same restaurant based Westfield. but, this one based in London Bridge their chips weren't a good one.
k. k.
Really exceptional customer service sadly i forgot my waiters name but she was very attentive and made the experience all the more enjoyable, really good wine selection and the food had a good range of options also.
S. O.
Food was divine! I had the Chicken Moussakhan. The salad was full of flavour and refreshing, the rice was light. I was dubious about the onion compote but it all went so well and the chicken was falling off the bone. So tender and the flavours all went so well. Really happy I decided to go in!
I also had the baklawa and the spiced hot chocolate. It wasn't the best baklawa I have ever had but it was still quite nice! The hot chocolate had a bit too much going on but it was creamy and I enjoyed it.
Atmosphere and decor was great! Loads of people, service didn't take too long. The waiting staff didn't pay so much attention to me which was frustrating, but it seemed busy enough so it's forgiveable. I will be back for sure.
M. P.
Fantastic food . Beautifully decorated.
D. K.
Fantastically convenient from London Bridge, you can save seconds if you’re in a rush. The restaurant is almost on the platform. The food also arrives at (borderline suspicious) lightening speed, however here the pace slows drastically.
Attracting the attention of the waiter was a real struggle and you’ll lose all those bonus minutes and many many more. In fairness, that could have been due to the insane interior decor - it’s genuinely possible to lose yourself between Winston Churchill in a fez and purple pickled turnips(?).
The main course was solid, but desserts are wild. Literally. They come with flowers (whether it’s on the menu or not). Not an obvious or pleasant addition to a brownie - they are supposed to be dirty and safe as houses. We did ask the extraordinarily smiley-yet-somewhat-absent waiter for some advice before choosing and picked up some vital additional info on the milk pudding, which I’m compelled to share, in case it changed your mind, as it did ours... “It is round”. As well as containing milk. We obviously swerved hard.
The main challenge here, was actually not crunching down the dried petals, but ordering some tap water to make that process possible. We persevered and are proud to reveal that we were successful on the 4th attempt - by which time one jug was not enough, but we didn’t have the strength for a second round.
In fairness to our incredibly informed smiley waiter, he did almost compensate us for his bad advice with some free baklava; note, however, that they did get a coating of what was undoubtedly more flowers!
This place is perfect for those who can’t be bothered to walk, aren’t thirsty, don’t have a sweet tooth and have a shed load of time to kill are robust enough to handle an offence on the eyes.

Pleasant and interesting place for quick lunch
J. F.
It's a lovely place. Food was amazing. But they charged me a service charge of 12.5% for a table of 3 which I didn't like. I didn't want to make a scene by asking them to remove the service charge, hence paid it but was a bit disappointed.
A. “.
Food was ok but service can be slow. We were there for lunch on the weekend. We had to ask for our water more than 3 times in order to get it at the end. Also due to language barrier, one of the staffs for the order wrong as he misunderstood what one of us say. It’s a good idea to ask the staff to repeat your order to make sure they get it right. Even it wasn’t a busy day, the service was still quite slow. We all had to rush and ask for the bill at the end. Probably will not go there for lunch again.
F. A.
The restaurant is quite spacious and it’s nicely decorated. The food was alright and they serve decent portions. They charge you 12.5% for service, which is normal around central London, but it’s hard to justify it since the service was quite poor.
L. M.
Very nice place bowl was abit small for chicken salad if you get it ask for bigger plate.
J. D.
Beautiful interior, very spacious restaurant with extra seating outside and a very vibrant and beautiful interior. The food is nice and a good portion too. There was just a bit of a wait for someone to seat us.
A. M.
Ordered first time. Very friendly and helpful waiter. Delicious food and fresh lemonade! Fully recommend!
J. B.
Wonderful food, well cooked and presented. Customer service second to none. I ate outside as my dog was with me, would not hesitate to dine with friends there.
J. S.
Lovely place

Nice place next to London bridge station to grab a bite. Food was good too. Nice staff too. Colorful interior.
D. E.
Very tasty food , fantatistic service with extremely friendly waitor and waitresses . The food was very delicious and I would recommend the restaurant to others. Exciting decor but also has a nice section for couples who want privacy.
Do try I don't believe you will regret it!
F. v. d. L.
Good service, we ordered the mezze feast and drinks. Food came out at a reasonable time, no complaints.
I will say, I've had better Lebanese food but for a quick bite this place was good.
S. G.
Great food, quick service
N. D.
Love the food, the cocktail and the ambiance
j. e.
Nice for a lunch, not a big menu but the food was good, ground floor toilet for disabled access
S. L.
Amazing food, 4 of us spend £80, which includes 4xmain course, 4xdesert, 2xdelicious loose green tea with rose, hot chocolate and hearb tea. We were served very quickly. Smiling and friendly staff. Only one small minus - was quite loud but that's not fould of place. However, I will definitely go again.
M. J.
Amazing Experience and food! love the place !
Very decorated !!

Nice and different shop. Worth to visit
R. A.
Great food and a good time. Ambience slightly noisy.
R. C.
Amazing food and drink!
U. n. f.
Great food and atmosphere. Good prices for central London
F. M.
Great service...colourful location! Recommend it
M. P.
Firstly the price itself it's beautiful, lot of details and great decorations but not just that, the food was absolutely delicious. My favourite was the sharing starters, it was absolutely delicious and bug portion.
A.
Good value for money if you go for a wrap or wrap platter and very tasty.
But charging 5 quid for a small side dish of humous is too much.
O. W.
Like the decor and the food options. Lebanese cuisine is delicious!
M. C.
The service is haphazard probably owing to the enthusiasm of the kitchen, once produced and when necessary returned the food exceeds expectations acquired at other branches. They have also decorated the space extremely well.
P.
Me and 2 friends came to the restaurant just to try something different and we were pleasantly surprised. We had chicken moussakha and spinach pie and everything was great, Camelia our waitress was very nice and made our night very enjoyable!! Will return
n. c.
Lush food
K. L.
This experience was mesmerizing, the food was good and the service was nice and fast, our waitress rehabe was so friendly and helpful
Definitely gonna recommend and visit again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
M. S.
Service was lacking. Ordering online from the table and website insisted on paying service on top.
R. M.
Awsome food, wonderful experience, best halal place at London Bridge
E. B.
Amazing decor and great concept, but after finally visiting a Comptoir Libanais, I found the food very disappointing. The Baba Ganoush and Hummus were great, so if I went back I would order small plates to build my own mezze, rather than opt for one large dish. I've had way better falafel for a fraction of the price.
S. H.
Lovely mix grill
Amazing mezze
C. M.
Food was really good and fresh. The staff were very friendly. I will be going back there for lunch for sure 🙂
S. A. S.
Very tastefully and colourfully done place. We had tried the falafel and the chicken touk, the falafel was average but the chicken touk was really nice. A nice place to hangout with family and friends.
S. H.
Expensive for quick snack for children and don't appreciate having to answer to boss why I wasn't going to pay what they think I should pay for tip when I always give when deserved anyway. Especially when some establishments don't even give it to the intended server either.
D. S.
Excellent breakfast ! Tasty and original.. I recommend !
M. B.
A nice restaurant, beautiful decorated with lots of pictures, plates and other libanesian things. The food is fresh prepared and the service is top. It is one of my favourite places to enjoy libanesian food in London.
M. V.
Great for a working lunch! Loved the hummus sampler and lamb burger
T. H. (.
Delicious food, really fresh, high quality ingredients. Got our order wrong, otherwise 5 stars without hesitation. Highly recommended.
S. S.
Really nice food, cool mock lebanese decor, me and my wife both really enjoyed it. The usual lebanese type cuisine, the tagines were especially good.
P. W.
Comptoir Libanais branches can be very variable: the one at Gatwick is pretty indifferent but this one is as good as they get. The food was fresh and well-preserved and waiting staff were efficient and attentive.
K. K.
Loved the food and quite reasonable, considering its location
V. N.
Good food and nice decor
A. G.
Excellent food. Reasonable price.
G. Q.
OMG, super amazing food here. And l love the decoration of this restaurant. Lovely and cute.
A. A.
I went with my little cousin, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. The service was really quick and the food tasted great!
T. I.
I love Comptoir. But this specific one wasn't my favourite. Items are not warmed up properly, staff seems a bit lost (there weren't as many people when I went), but maybe they were tired.
J. M.
Wonderful food. The salads were amazing. Very fresh and super friendly. Fabulous colourful venue.
D. V.
They made my day with erffect fig pate over pancakes with pomegranate seeds))) o, My God! It was better then some sex, believe me!!! And shashuka smells so good so you would find the way here from the station))) plan you visit - sure it would same good as mine)))

Excellent service, great interiors. Food is good too.
G. H.
Very nice environment with quality and tasty food. Excellent service. Conveniently located near public transport.
P. M.
Disappointed as the universally staple vegan dish of falafel has egg in it here.
P. H.
A wonderful Lebanese restaurant right next to London Bridge Station. Some of the friendliest service I've ever experienced, great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommended.
C. W.
On my way home from having a pleasant evening at comptoir Libanais. I had the mixed grill from start to finish the service was fantastic. Difinitely will go back.

Went to London for vacations and just hoped in this Resturant just by chance, but, simple was amazed with the tase and quality of food and amazing service by the staff.
.
This place is just near the London Bridge metro station.
.
Can go back for this place any time.
H. T.
Nice room, nice atmosphere and prompt polite service, but so busy at lunch time that the food is pre-cooked and reheated to order, making the kebabs rather dry and tasteless.
Y. A.
Incredible food, nicest staff! What's wrong with this city? , I never met so many nice people in so little time! 😍
A. A.
Halal foos is served here in Lebanese and Moroccan dishes
K. A.
Two for 10£ cocktails, hats all im going to say, Generally don't like Lebanese food but the cocktails and service is good.
J. B.
Did wasn't that great and very overpriced
C. L.
Great place to eat, the decor is amazing, the food was lovely, service fast. Really good atmosphere.
i. h.
Tasty food and not costly
G. M.
Fast, tasty Lebanese food at London Bridge. More of a canteen setting than a cosy restaurant, Comptoir Libanais offers a range of Lebanese dishes including a very good platter of flat breads with dips. This is a really good addition to the range of shops and food at London Bridge Station
D. S.
Not great for large groups during Christmas, the food was late and just ok. The food was better when I visited the place in smaller groups and not during busy periods.
R. m.
Visited this place to celebrate my best friends birthday on Friday night Foods, service and atmosphere were spot on . Thank you Mo and your team for the happy birthday song .will be back soon
I. C.
Good, authentic Lebanese food. The Mezze platter is the one!! Some starters are slightly over priced given how small the portions are.
m. s.
Venue is great, such a therapeutic burst of colour on a grey May day
Lovely food

Nice place, friendly staff but tagine was mostly couscous. Would go there again but would avoid the tagine, which is a shame.
