Reviews of Côte Hay's Galleria
K. K.
Waitress and other personnel were very kind. The view outside was outstanding. Food, no need to say... FANTASTIC!! wine was a perfect match with the food!! Oh, almost forgot... the mashed potato and the gravy sauce... was lovely!
S. C.
This place does offer decent value, most dishes are priced reasonably and there is the prix fixe before 6 pm. It is quite a cozy restaurant and it is positioned right next to the river too so we seen many dates coming to the restaurant, the servers are attentive and friendly too. Lots of potential right? The food is where all this falls apart.
The french onion soup we had tasted quite good, unfortunately, it was half cold. The potatoes we had tasted good again, but one of the three potatoes were burnt. We had the fillet steak, and the steak was overcooked and cooked unevenly. Come on, pay a little bit of attention to your food. I wonder do the kitchen check the food before sending them out. If they can fix the food I feel like this could be a place that I visit frequently.
J. J.
Stopped for breakfast, staff were welcoming. Not a huge menu. Had the French toast was yummy. Good value for City.
M. U.
When I booked here I was expecting something a bit above the norm, but all I got was an average restaurant. Staff are friendly enough but not going out of their way to be amazing, food is the same as any half decent restaurant. Medium steak was brought out rare and took nearly 10mins to rectify. I’ve been in cleaner public toilets
Y. K.
I ordered French onion soup - it was quite good. The location is the best with an amazing view on the river.
P.S. Come there to meet sunset.
A. F. P.
Super nice!! Price is great for the location and quality of the food, and staff is really attentive. Wish the space was not as cluttered as it is, definitely has way too many tables inside…!
The steamed sea bass was really tasty! Looking forward going back soon :)
R.
Lovely restaurant by the water, great to have a coffee in the afternoon or dinner around sunset
D. D.
We had a lovely meal on the terrace where we had great views of the River Thames and HMS Belfast. I ordered from the 3 course Prix Fixe menu which is great value, my friend ordered from the A La Carte menu. The waiters were super attentive and very friendly. We had a lovely dinner experience, it was unrushed and leisurely.

This was my first visit and it was wonderful!
Firstly, great location and lovely wander along the Thames towards Tower Bridge.
Most of these stars and for the hardworking and brilliant staff! From welcome and throughout our meal everyone was simply wonderful.
We got a hot breakfast, glass of champagne and coffee for £17.95. Simply amazing! I had the veggie breakfast and my friend had the eggs and smoked salmon. The food was really delicious. I'll be back for the rosti. Yum!
Will definitely plan my next visit!!
S. N.
Great location, great quality food, and very attentive staff.
No fuss made when we asked for a different table.
I would have loved to give 5 stars for the fact that they have a whole gluten-free menu ... But you need to know about it and ask.
(There was one guest about who was very drunk and got rather too close to us - staff did nothing, but apologize afterwards. It's not their fault, obviously, but they should have addressed it.)
J. R.
Gorgeous wines & gorgeous food. I had their Vegan options and they were delicious 😋 my friends had beef cheek and muscles and said they were sooooo good.
B. P.
This is a very delicious French restaurant! Would definitely recommend, especially during weekdays as they have special 2 and 3-course meals at excellent prices!

Cote London Bridge is on the riverside between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, just upstream from HMS Belfast. In good weather the terrace provides a great view of the river, while many of the indoor tables have a good but more restricted view. Hay's Galleria is just opposite London Bridge overground station, which can be reached by another covered arcade from the Underground station if it's raining. We previously visited at lunch time a couple of years ago and that prompted us to choose it again for an early evening meal with friends. Our server was very pleasant, recommended a wine that we all enjoyed and was attentive but not overly so. We all chose from the three-course set menu and were pleased with the food. The manageress came and had a friendly chat while we were waiting for our main course - and despite the restaurant being reasonably busy we did not have to wait very long between courses. There was a little confusion when the coffee server brought us someone else's order, but rapidly corrected 10% optional service charge is added to the bill and unlike some places the card machine did not ask you if you wanted to leave a tip; I've been caught that way elsewhere! Highly recommended.
R. B. B.
Went for a birthday lunch and had 2 burgers and requested to have them without the truffle mayonnaise and asked the same for the chips, both burgers came with truffle mayonnaise, the waiter spilled all chips on the table, had to wait for another portion, we wanted to change our burgers to have them without mayonnaise but it would've taken q5 mins ( we were on lunch break) so wa had half of the burgers and the chips only, lucky the lady who took our order to begin with was so upset that kitchen ignored her notes and she didn't charged us for the meal
L. M.
I went here for lunch with family. We had the lunch deal which is two courses for under £18. It was delicious! There are various options - not just steak. The view from outside is stunning! A must if the weather is nice!!
l. r.
Came across the Gallery while walking locally. It invited you into its awesome and imposing glass roofed Square with all amenities and there were many radiating off the central area. The Steampunk sculpture was brilliant and the views of London skyline and Thames. Just great.
G. C.
A bit pricy but food is excellent quality, so you get what you pay for. Service is really good, even when the restaurant is packed. Also a well stocked wine cellar.
R. T.
Great service and a lovely meal, we arrived as a walk in party of 7 at about 13:30 on a busy sunny weekend. Most places would refuse a group like this (as we found out the day before) but Cote were great. The staff were happy and made a big fuss of the 2 babies in the party and brought them colouring in pencils and paper. The meal came quickly and was lovely. Can't recommend enough.
N. T.
This place is wonderful! The food is very good quality, delicious and large portions. I had the poulet grille and it was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend ate the rib eye which he was also very happy with.
The service was also lovely- the waitstaff aren’t overbearing and coming every 5 minutes but rather sense when you’re ready for another drink or to pay.
The blonde hostess in the red dress on the 28/Jan was lovely and made our experience really pleasant.
We also had the charcuterie board with meat which was amazing 🤩
5 stars!!!
J. T.
Wonderful food and excellent service. The outdoor dining area with beautiful river views is to be recommended. Also returned for dinner the next evening and again was impressed by the friendly and very professional staff and the quality of the food
L. P.
Beautiful location and excellent services and food.
View from the restaurant of the thames
M. C.
Service a bit slow but the food was great and the server really nice. Bit surprised about the card only payment option as I didn't see any notice by the entrance. It should be more clearly displayed. Apart from that, great option in the London bridge area
S. V. -.
Afternoon Tea Cruise 🛳
and a walk over Tower Bridge 🌉 to London Bridge Station and Hays Galleria eating Hall
Lovely area of London. We walked through the Hayes Galleria to get to London Bridge tube station.
V. L.
Great Experience in this restaurant.
If you eat gluten free for allergy is perfect, all food are gluten free and the they put took great care not to contaminate. Amazing food and super nice staff.
G. D.
Birthday dinner for ten. A great celebratory evening.
S. B.
Decided to stop here for a coffee while we had a half hour wait for the uber riverboat. The staff were very welcoming and the coffee was fantastic. It was a shame we couldn't stop for a spot of lunch as the menu looked appealing. Nice experience.
G. R.
Delightful food, lovely location and great service!
I visited yesterday with a friend, and we met Juan, who not only suggested his favourite dishes, but also made sure we could get fougasse even though another waitress had told us they had run out. It was a very sensitive touch and made us super happy (try the fougasse, it is delicious!).
The location is perfect, a table by the river makes the experience even more magical. All the dishes we ordered were impeccable, and the desserts topped it all up (we got the Cote version of an Eton mess and of an apple tarte - wow!).
Go, enjoy the food and the view!
H. H.
Great service, friendly staff. A very good selection of gluten free breakfast options were available. Good quality food and good portion sizes!
O. D.
Great place for lunch and lovely staff and good!
E. S.
Very friendly place, early morning stroll down the Thames, a smart tidy place and a relaxing cup of coffee. Thanks for the friendly good service it all went towards my 50th birthday and made it all memorable.
T. G.
Convenient and food was decent enough but there were several items on the menu that were unavailable. Ambience was good but I have had better french food.
Service was good though.
L. A.
Lovely restaurant, overlooking the river.Food, lovely, recommend the Champagne Breakfast, very welcoming staff xx
J. L.
It's alright! Reasonably good food and prices, though the last time we came the waiters seemed to be overwhelmed. Dishes took a very long time to come and they had forgotten about the side dish, which finally arrived after a while.
W. O.
Situated in a really picturesque part of the city but the restaurant itself was a letdown. The service was awesome but the food wasn’t great. I preferred the Cote in Barbican. The atmosphere is however nice enough for after with dinner with friends.
M. B.
Outstanding service, food great would highly recommend and not over priced. Very friendly staff! We will go back.
A. P. B.
The service was great. The staff was very accommodating. Wide menu catering to a myriad of tastes. Food was well presented and flavourful. I gave a 4* rating because my salad was slightly wilted and my Creme Bruleé top wasn't crunchy. That said I'd definitely go back. It has good lighting. We didn't notice it getting dark outside. We had cocktails outside before going in for dinner. It's on the bank of the Thames close to London Bridge station and Tower Bridge. Sadly, it doesn't have wheelchair access to the inside of the restaurant. The loos 🚽🚽🚽🚽 are really small and would be impossible to navigate for someone with mobility issues.
M. M.
Duck Confit had alot of leaves but not much Duck. The Blueberry tart was ok but it was just alot of sugar with no flavour. The staff were lovely and outside setting was very pleasant.
P. F.
Decent food, not expensive for location, on the river by HMS Belfast in Hays Galleria. Service was attentive not intrusive. Good.
D. F.
Great selection, very friendly and attentive staff and delicious food, the decor is also very inviting. Their drinks selection could probably be better but otherwise I would definitely visit again!
A. B.
The service was excellent! I want to thank Tathyana, Gina & Gabriela for their assistance and the chef for catering for me considering diet restrictions. I would highly recommend.
I. B.
Beautiful and relaxed place with outdoor space at the Thames, very friendly and helpful staff and very tasty food. I had a very nice lunch.
V. A.
Always a pleasure dining here. It's a bit crowded but the food is OK and the prices are decent. Especially if you get the lunch menu.
C. H.
We are quite a regular to Cote specially this one as the location is convenient and with good view. Food are consistently good as well. We usually have the set menu as they are good value. However, we used to be a bit disappointed with the steak quality in the set menu. However, they have an alternative set menu. The steak we had tonight was really good. We wish they would put less salt though. The service was really good too.
R. B.
Great location, nice and welcoming service staff, and great value for very nice food. Love their steak and chips and the lemon tart is to die-for
A. M.
This is a nice cosy restaurant in London Bridge tucked away at the end of Hay’s Galleria. The Menu for vegetarians is slightly limited but the food they do have is great! Fantastic and friendly service. Lunch times on the weekend are fairly quiet. The upstairs seating is nice and open, perfect if you want the kids to run around a little. Pricey, but worth the experience.
Y. A.
Excellent food, really nice atmosphere and the staff were very attentive.
A.
Had drinks and a meal with a friend. Ambience outside was perfect, service and food excellent. I would like to specially thank Tatyana for her exceptional hosting and Miroslava for her excellent service. I will definitely be returning!
S. G.
Good food as always. Had an issue with the dessert but it was replaced promptly with no fuss.
A. S.
Hays galleria Cote is probably the chicest Cote one can visit. Located right along that banks of Thames river sitting inside the restaurant allows for spectacular views of the financial district across the river.
The food is of a higher quality than one would expect for the prices, their steaks are sublime but mostly I will sing my praises for their dessert, in particularly the Crepe, which is somehow rich in chocolate flavor and unbelievably light simultaneously. Definitely recommend.
C. C.
Sunday night had dinner here and set outdoor part. The service was not good. Only one waiter is
professional.
We are 3 people and tried to ordered 6 dishes then three of the dishes didn't have. That was not told us when the beginning. The service person came once and told one dish is run out.Another service person came said another dish also run out......
I ordered 8 ounce ribeye and they give me 6 ounce fillet.
The third photo is my 8 ounce ribeye!?
D. S.
Nice place to get lunch. Cozy place to get together with friends or treat yourself. Pretty view and area to walk around.
B. S.
Amazing monk fish with spinach and mushrooms. It's been a while since I've had such a good dish. We've also had spicy olives and tomato salad which both were flavoursome and well presented.
Well recommend 👍 👍
R. W.
I like this chain - very consistent quality and service. I like this location especially when you can sit and eat outside with the view along the river Thames
M. D.
Every time I come here the food is amazing, the terrace is lovely, and the staff are so friendly, helpful and thoughtful :) thank you!!
B. N.
My meal was "exquis" as we say in French! Exquisite! And the dessert, Tarte aux Mirabelles, if you taste NOTHING else, you MOST taste that dessert! I look forward in going back! It was a beautiful scenery (took table outside). And good service.
E. P.
Great location and price for a French restaurant. The duck confit was very crisp outside and juicy in the inside. The fish and chips with the aide of peas was also a great choice with the right fish texture and fresh peas. We ended up dinner with some coffee. Do know that service is not the fastest but they are responsive when you flag them down. We did not experience any wait and go seated immediately.
N. C.
Probably the best French onion soup I’ve ever had - perfect mix of the key ingredients and not too salty - it was perfect! I’d also left my umbrella at the restaurant and was able to pick it up the next morning as the staff had kindly collected it and stored it in the back. Thank you!!
E. L.
Extremely pleased with evening 2 course menu @ £16.95 high quality, great service, stylish surroundings and beautiful location. Perfect for pre-theatre meal
K. P.
Delicious sea bass, service was excellent and a great location by the Thames opposite the City and 5 minutes from London Bridge station.
S. H.
I had an amazing experience dining here, the food was delicious and it's a great location. Also I'd like to thank the amazing staff especially our waitress Daniela, she was very kind and patient and recommended a very nice wine, thank you!
E. A.
Extremely busy restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were lucky to get a table, and it was more than worth it. Fantastic service and lovely food in a great environment. We will be back!
k. l.
this place never disappoint me for all their branches. this signature fish dish is amazing.
M. G.
Love the Food!! And Atmosphere! 🍻
J. P. (.
Wonderful views of the river but it’s on the non sunny side …
Good outside seating but the heaters were broken so a bit chilly outside
J. F.
Had the most delicious dinner and when the staff found out it was my birthday they treated us to a free drink , cake with candle and sang ! Such an unexpected surprise , what a fantastic evening , thank you so much
N.
Lovely setting by the river -looking out out at hms Belfast. Lovely food and not to badly priced for either food or drinks !
S. R.
I was at Cote today with my parents when my dad collapsed. The staff (I wish I knew their names) were absolutely amazing and so compassionate. From helping to get him comfortable, to checking he was fine, to offering to call an ambulance. My dad is okay thanks to the staff at Cote. This could have gone very differently. Thank you so so much. Susannah
G. A.
Beautiful location, spacious and amazing food. Just with the starter alone I was very very satisfied. Literally my favourite restaurant. There is great variety on the menu and the ambience adds to everything.
G. B.
Fantastic spot on the river and good food. Sometimes a bit of a delay and feels like the outdoor area has had more tables crammed into the space, but generally very good.
d. m. s.
Great value french Inspired dining with great service in a nice setting near the Thames. Set menu before 7pm is excellent and recommended.
T. S.
Very pleasant dining, food was great and reasonably priced. We enjoyed a variety of different tastes and dishes that were stylishly prepared. Would go again.
L. A.
The food was very average, the service was friendly but the food took way too long to come out. It was fine for grabbing an informal bite to eat but not for anything more special.
V. M.
I have been to different locations, but this place is far the best! Lovely food and the staff very friendly, offer us a table even if it was almost closing time! Thank you!
T. C.
Enjoyed breakfast last Sunday so came again. Very different vibe to Barbican here. Food was very fast to arrive & good although I asked for the toast on the side as often with poached eggs it gets soggy. Unfortunately this didn’t happen and it was! Plenty of staff milling around but the lovely waitress who initially served me had gone and in the mêle of staff, it was surprisingly hard to get attention !
O. C.
We always like to visit Cote Brasserie.
The food was very good and full with good flavour, the service was lovely, the space between dishes was perfect. Im highly recommended. we had a very good experience
L. S.
Excellent service. The main chicken dish today was good but nowhere near as great as the fixed price menu dish.
A. T.
I really liked this restaurant as last time I was served by one of your stuff name Young boy named John. helped waiter professionally 😍 within a smile
Thank you for all
T. 1.
Lovely meal, attentive wait staff. Great location. Toilets need more frequent cleaning.
G. V.
Great experience this morning (5/12/21) at cote brasserie Hay Gallerie. The team was such a delight and they have been so accommodating for 6 adults and 3 babies. Fast service, family friendly set up and very nice people that made our Sunday morning so special ! Thank you team côte :)

Brought a friend to a regular appointment at Guys so took opportunity to enjoy a McD's by the river followed by a coffee. Nice gallery to walk through & made a relaxing location to enjoy a pleasant chat & our food whilst watching the river traffic & other visitors also enjoying the gallery & views.
j. d.
Very nice walkabout covered with history
J. S.
Lovely position by the Thames. Service was adequate. The meals could have been better.

p. h.
Friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Nice menu choices. Good food and company.
C. V.
Very tasteful! The place was very crowded, but that was not an issue for the restaurant. Very organized, clean and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food is great delicious and affordable prices.
N. P.
Nice people in a cosy place with great view! The prices are really affordable for many quality meals!
G.
Quality food, regular price, perfect for a dinner in good company, with the Thames view and the London towel bridge
J. B.
We love this restaurant, great outdoor seating alongside the river. Good service, very nice menu of well cooked food.
E. E.
Delicious food, qonderful service, breathtaking view of the water... overall amazing.
S. B.
Good steak. Very busy so had to eat outside. Great staff.
K. B.
Went for dinner with friends had an excellent time. The food was great
R. S.
Cote brasserie, hays Gallerie is rated 5 stars on the food standard agency. Inspected Sept 2017
We went for a client lunch. Water wine and food!
The wind was ridiculous outside knocking over drinks on a neighbouring table.
Service was attentive and polite
Starters were very good.
Main course Steaks were just so so. .
D. F.
Great spot for breakfast. Good food, reasonably priced, attentive service.
E. W.
Excellent food, reasonable price, friendliest staff.
M. R.
During my 10 day stay in London, I ate here twice. Both times were fantastic and reasonably priced.
P. S. Get the bread. SO good.
A. D. l. c.
My all time favourite brasserie! Love the Charcuterie board and the steak tartare. Chilled on the terrace next to the thames and had a very enjoyable lunch. Definitely recommend!
C. D.
Good food and friendly service. One of our favorite brunch branch. The seating can be crowded sometimes
C. S.
Great French cuisine at decent prices. Also, customer service is the best!
K. L.
It was good, but would put 5 stars if all the heaters worked outside, sorry. Very nice Italian waiter who served us last Friday evening. Amazing views of London and good food.
R. K.
Had a lovely dinner experience this evening, meeting up with two friends who I haven't seen since before COVID. We were seated outside with gorgeous view of the River Thames and were extremely well looked after by our server, Tatiana, who was attentive and made it a very friendly and relaxed evening for us. Well recommended for service and tasty food.
M. W.
What an amazing breakfast.
A. J.
Great quality food and very reasonably priced. Cozy and well-decorated interior with good views of the river. Nice wine selection.
M. L.
Thank you so much to Christian 🥰 he purposely ran out to give me back my wallet when I left it behind, and was just so kind and thoughtful. The customer service wa top notch, food was excellent and we had a superb night. Thank you Christian!
S. W.
Good price for good food. We have been before and too and usually it's better. During valentines it was a bit to much mass production feeling over the food
k. O.
Good food, generally good service. Although when seated outside on most recent visit, service was a bit slow.
J. L.
Lovely location,fab staff, great food
J. R.
Our department always opt for a meal out at Cote because of how inclusive their menus are for all the different dietary needs for my colleagues. I really enjoy my time here catching up with colleagues both old and new alike. The staff are also very hospitable
S. A.
Fantastic meal. First time customer and I was very pleased with food and service.
Will recommend the charcuterie board for two as a starter and the Pork Belly.
M. C.
Great atmosphere, with excellent quality food and very attentive service. I would highly recommend.
O. W.
For a chain, it is decent place for a set meal. It is not exactly top notch, and at times tastes a bit fast-food'y, but I do like nicer places so it might be perfectly fine for someone else. Always busy, which should be a good sign.
A. w.
The meal was lovely, good price, very fast service and very polite...
J. D.
Very busy but pleasant staff keeping us informed of delays. Disappointed with Desert when it eventually came - one small scoop of lemon sorbet in a warm bowl £5.50.
a. “. w.
Staff super friendly. Food mediocre at best.
Avoid the espresso martini at all cost. Was THE worst, waterey definitely not as described on the menu. The outside seating section offers great views of the River Thames. Worth a visit for coffee and a snack.
H. M. V.
The salmon was delicious, liked the way it was cooked. Sitting outside as the weather was nice, very nice view as well. Waiter was friendly and professional.
D. M. G.
Very good service. Great food. Great attention from Daniella and Camile
H. S.
Exactly the quality I expected from this chain, nothing great, but nothing bad. Service was a little slow but friendly.
D. R.
If you are on a budget, ask for the set menus, they don't always put them down as you sit. I don't eat here for the service, it's not always amazing but that's understandable with how busy they can be. I eat here for this view.
J. K.
The food was lovely, the staff very helpful. The setting outside was great with HMS Belfast in front of us and Tower Bridge in view. This was a staff retirement event and the waiter kindly brought our cake to our friend at the end of the meal. There was no rush, all round a lively event.
M. F.
Lovely and the manager was so attentive. Fab location
M. C.
This is a bit on the expensive side but the views of the river are amazing. It is well worth visiting for this reason alone.
D. H.
We were cold & wet , met by a very hospitable waiter who guided us to awarm table under a heat lamp where we had reasonably priced mulled wine . Very pleasant
A. P.
Amazing service
Delicious food
Y. B.
Food great view exceptional had a good time. View whilst we ate
S. K.
Went for Sunday brunch, excellent food, atmosphere and views! Fogasse is highly recommended!
K.
Tasteless and chewy fillet steak. Friends were happy with sea bass though.
t. m.
Great location, right on the river. Good spot for a quality breakfast
A.
Good god food reasonable prices. Attentive staff great location.
C. L.
Great location and quality customer service is second to none. Recommended for tourist and office workers.
A.
Nice atmosphere, located next to the River Thames. Great views and the food is cooked to perfection.
C. P.
Despite change of ownership the standard of food and service has continued at its usual high standard (we've been coming here for10+yrs for lunch!)
D. J. S.
Excellent food. Excellent ambience and an amazing ambience on the banks of the Thames. It’s a must visit.
A. V.
Great food! The staff was professional and very nice.
w. h.
Really nice location looking out across the Thames. Food quality was very good and staff friendly and helpful. It gets very busy so it's essential to make a reservation.
J. B.
My friends and l have been eating here regularly for over 2 years. The standards have remained high. Small menu, great food and lovely service. Outside seating beside the Thames. We all love this restaurant
D. R.
Love this place. Great location. The food and service is excellent. We ate off the set menu and couldn't fault both the food and and service.
Also, good value for money. Enjoy your experience.
S. G.
The main course was fine, service was slow, and dessert was burnt.
A. H.
Not the most personable experience in the Côte franchise, possibly still struggling to get back in the swing after the enforced closures of lockdown. The shift on duty the evening we attended did not seem to have clear ownership of a table / cover, so there were gaps and waits and regular attempts to flag attention by our party. Food also felt a bit phoned-in - not much evidence of art or pride in the kitchen. All that aside, a nice enough evening for a work supper.
T. M.
Visited to meet a colleague for coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
K. M.
A little stop over for a drink after our lunch and we were looked after superbly by Tatiana. Her customer service skill were fantastic and she is a credit to the restaurant. Thank you for looking after us on Saturday
S. M.
Great food as always. Service a bit slow and it wasn't that busy so was surprised that staff were a bit slow. Otherwise lovely as usual.

What a beautiful evening! My son has finished treatment at Guys Hospital and so we decided to go celebrate at Cotes (Hays Galleria) the staff, the food and Peter (manager) were excellent. We’ve been before and it will always be our favourite place to eat! Thank you team - the coolest Cotes team xx From Jude & Lisa X

Food is the same over 10 years nothing change but the stuff likely does , Great authomephere , well train stuff , I enjoyed my dinner.
J. W.
Lovely meal. Good friendly service.
E. D.
Good service, family friendly. Not give stars because toilets are not the best
s. m.
good food, good service, great athmosphere ❤ thank you!
A. A. Q.
I enjoyed the starter , the main course and the desert
H. B.
Very disappointed, have eaten here many times before and it has been fantastic. Not so know have just eaten there, had chicken liver pate it used to come with yummy slices of brioche bread and great pate, now shadow of its former self, bread now 3 bits sliced off a baguette, dry, pate ok nowhere as good as before. The beef Bourgogne was dry, meat fatty and hard, the standard "gone" the ice-cream had seen better days. Won't come again 😭
I.
It’s an amazing place for lunch on a sunny day
B. M.
Positive experience. Steak was cooked a bit longer than described on the menu but still very tasty and tender. Good value for money
N. H.
Good food. Eating outside is fun and romantic if you have the right company of course. Not too expensive if you don't go overboard on the drinks.
T. M.
Incredible food however they seem to still be stuck in the 50's where the man is expected to choose everything and be the designated wine taster. If you have 3 hours to kill to eat 3 courses you're going to love it!
P. L.
Although this is a French restaurant with a lot of meat there are some good veggie / vegan options.
(Strangely they list which sauces are veggie to go on the top of steak...)
The celeriac steak was really good.
The service is very good and friendly
D. M.
Very good restaurant. Super polite staff, fantastic food with great wine selection of wine and beer. And of course at the superb location. Could be a tourist trap but they really go the extra mile
S. O.
Empty plates after our dinner there. Very nice food and not expensive at all. Drinks are great with a beautiful wine. Highly recommend!
M. M.
Sat outside and the view was wonderful. Food was great and there's plenty of french options. It was pretty cold after 7pm which is to be expected if you are sitting outside.
S. M.
Good food, generally friendly service. They're experimenting with the menu at the moment though.. I say bring back the original English breakfast and the potato gratin!
p. s.
Best French food in central London with great views, best at sunset and after
M. F.
Won't be going back in a hurry. My steak was overcooked which they recognised but did not take of the bill. Every other Cote I've been to was great. Such a disappointment.
K. V.
Best Cote Location ever! Been there quite a few times, food and views will never disappoint! See you soon!
M. A.
Nice view. Very good service. Food is OK.
B. H.
It's a chain so good and price good but unlikely to be exelent. Staff were good and flexible. No complaints, no fuss. If you are able to sit outside nice view of the river.
J. S.
Really cool food, excellent price and location. Service and staff specially remarkable! I will surely repeat!
The steaks are so tasty and burguers are also excellent!
Smart choice in the area!
V. H.
Birthday lunch for 10. Nice food at a good price.
M. P.
My sister visited me for few days in London, and I was thinking where I can take her so that we can spend the last day in style. Well, we were not disappointed. It is also such a short walk from Tower Bridge.
L. F.
Food was good, view lovely but music just a tad loud for conversation. Waiters very warm and welcoming.
S. J.
We recently ate lunch at Cote, Hay's Galleria. We had come for a hospital appt at LB hosp. The weather was glorious. We ate outside and slowly the eating area filled up. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was also amazing. We had a fabulous day out.
R. D.
I won’t recommend this place because the food was so so,...... Only the chicken was great, the price was ok except the expresso, 2.60 pounds for an expresso?!?!?!??? to much for our bill. Anyway you could come here for French but I think that there would be some other French restaurants that is much better.....

Just had the most amazing lunch with my dear friend and I have to say the service was exceptional 👌thank you Anna, Carmen, George and the chef for the most delicious seabass ever!! We already decided to return very soon!!
M. C.
Great atmosphere in this place. Cosy, warm and in s pretty location by the river. We all four enjoyed our night. Food was tasty and good value. Our Polish waitress was truly friendly and with a good sense of humour. The House wine was delicious and again, good value. We will definitely go again ..... soon!
R. W.
Superb setting over looking the Thames. Pleasant and efficient service. Possibly the nicest steak I have eaten. Juicy tasty, melt in the mouth.
M. F. S.
I absolutely was impressed quality of food and great service plse transmit my thanks to the lovely polish lady who attende us. I send you a smile from my heart. Michael a healer.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food and wine selection. Great price as well!
W. C.
Reasonable price with excellent french food! Très bien!
Z. H.
Tower, high, you see Thames and great views of London..must see
A. N.
We had a lovely meal here. The prices were less than I was expecting lovely staff and seems a popular place to enjoy a meal.
D. J.
Well located venue that served at pace. Food was absolutely fine 👍

I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, Georgie. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we were very excited to be back at our local Côte, and didn’t rushed us, instead gave us time to decide and suggest a fougasse to start with! She made certain that we had everything we needed, making sure that we were ready for the next meal and setting up the table accordingly( not mentioning her “Mise en place” impeccable etiquette) . We then ordered our favorite dishes; calamari to start with(one each of course! not being selfish but you can’t share a Cote calamari, try it and you’ll understand why 😉) Chicken Liver Parfait and Pâté aux Cèpes, then the main course( oh God!) CONFIT PORK BELLY and FISH PARMENTIER, absolutely delicious, we know that the menu has a vast selections of dishes but we ALWAYS get this 2, we can’t help, sorry not sorry! Now you must be wondering “they surely had a desert right?” Wrong! Is not because we didn’t want it , but because we were absolutely full! But it’s all good, we will have it once we will be back for the Reveal, as we were told that the restaurant will go under renovation mid June for a new concept, so exciting! And maybe they will bring back Creme Brûlée to the menu at the same time too 🤞🏾.
Thank you and looking forward to the next visit!

Nice view, not bad food
J. C.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, attentive service, lovely meal with a fabulous group of friends!

Lovely restaurant visited with my family. My daughter had booked the meal and she mentioned that it was her dads birthday. They gave us 4 complimentary glasses of champagne which was a lovely surprise. Didn’t pay for the service charge as we asked the waitress and she informed us that it will be distributed to all staff I wanted to tip the waitress as she did an outstanding job. I gave her the tip to keep for herself. Definitely worth a visit and I will visit again.
A. G.
Delicious food and fast service )
S. J.
Excellent food & customer service - well done guys 😃. Will definitely be back!
E. M.
Three of us arrived here without having made a reservation, and were delighted to be shown to a very suitable table on the first floor. Staff were very pleasant and competent and completely understood my dietary needs. I explained that I needed to amend an option on the menu and they said, “that’s no problem”. I enjoyed beautifully cooked salmon with fries - as I couldn’t eat ratatouille - followed by delicious raspberry and lemon sorbet. Generous size glass of wine! Delighted to say that having always had good experiences in Côte Brasserie in Glasgow, I was very happy with the food and service at this branch.
L. H.
The vegetarian breakfast is for the price really tasty! The sauce makes everything more tasty :)
K. R.
Amazing food, lovely customer service!
M. B.
A nice lunchtime meal. The fish was fresh and tasty. Great location for watching life on the Thames sail by. Worth a visit.
a. r.
A lovely place to sit & eat by the river
M. D.
Delicious food as always from Cote, the only thing letting this particular restaurant down was the male member of staff with the flowery shirt and glasses, he came across very rude and disinterested, which tarnished the experience somewhat.
m. p.
This is a very generous mark as I would assign it a mix between 4.5 and 3.5. The ambience, setting, location as well as the customer service are very good and would all deserve a good 4.5. The food experience could actually be improved a lot... they try to pitch great recipes but both myself and the friends with me mentioned it could have been cooked better. Average mark for a nice place in London.
J. B.
What a wonderful place on the river great staff, Ligmer and Daniela were amazing will be back in 2022! 😃
M. O.
Great service, fab early bird menu and lovely house white. Great value and will be back soon!
P. O.
Cocktails were lovely and food and service too
G. M.
Service is always attentive and the food feels a cut above other chain restaurants in the area. Perfect for a lunch somewhere a bit more special.
S. A.
Stunning food and excellent service. However, tip the staff separately as if its added to the bill the staff won't see a penny of it
J. B.
Last minute decision to have dinner out. No booking, made welcome, and quickly reseated when much better table available.
J. B.
Good and frequent attention for service but let down by cold plates for hot food and the food falling short of its European styled menu example rosti was not a rosti just a large square croquette potato !
r. g.
Impecable service, staff really helpful and very nice.Food was great and came really quick. We had an amazing evening. Highly recomended.
E. B.
Exallent breakfast on the Thames. Had Eggs Royale with avocado on the side, delicious. Wrapped up in a blanket, watching the boats and shops sail by. Lovely way to start a Saturday morning
T. L.
Amazing food views and great service lovely stuff
P. B.
Lovely spot by the river and excellent service from the staff.
t. b.
Great place in the south side of the river, good food and amazing view, try to sit outside. Amazing sunset view of St. Paul Cathedral.
Y. K.
Good food. Friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere.
K. P.
Great views, great food for the proce. My creme caramel looks like it had been dropped in to the bowl from a great height.. but other than that it's a great spot next to the thames
R. S.
Jayne from Falkirk was brilliant. A full human being dealing so well with a minor problem. Made it into the great experience that we expected.
R. A.
Lovely room, decent service, food good, we had a great afternoon, you know what you are getting with cote and they don't disappoint
O. G.
Amazing food and I will be returning!
Good service, though the wait time without an appointment was said to be 30 minutes on arrival, however we were standing for over 50 which was a little extreme and there was no effort to update us. This was a little irritating but was made further annoying as people who arrived after us, also without appointments, were seated first. We didn't want to be rude or pushy as it was clearly busy but I think a little more consideration or explanation for those waiting would go a long way.
Table service was lovely and our server was very nice.Foods was delicious - calamari and chicken liver paté were great. I will return but will book in advance next time!
D. H.
It was 5 star service and food lovely
R. P.
Lovely evening. Nice food. Extra special for the complementary dessert and drinks without notifying them of birthday celebrations, just saw that it was from gift giving. Lovely helpful staff and brilliant food choices for my gluten free eating friend.
J. L.
Calamari was mediocre. Mousseline was very good. Overall not great value but the view by the river is pretty much what you are paying for.
E. K.
Have been trying to remember the name of this place for a while, and finally remembered and was able to recommend to a friend who is there now. For his sake I hope he makes it there. A great spot. Ambience, food, service. I went two or three times because the menu was so intriguing and there was still some items I didn’t get a chance to try. Definitely worth going, I don’t think you can be disappointed. Location is great, vast menu, price point also was good.
S. J.
Lovely restaurant I came here with my mother and sister, serves great food and has great service.
A. F.
Nice food but pricy for what you get
S. N.
Lovely warm atmosphere, friendly staff
V. S.
Very slow service, not very attentive. I asked for the breakfast menu and the server only brought 1 menu even though there were 3 of us at the table. I ordered a croissant which came with a selection of jams but she didn't bring out the jams. She very rarely looked in our direction to check if we needed anything. The vegetarian breakfast was small and average at best. Overall not a great experience. I feel we spent more time waiting even though it wasn't very busy.
D. H.
I was very happy with the service, and the food was delicious. I will recommend it to all of my friends and family.
L. C.
A restaurant based in the scenic Hays Galleria. The restaurant is quite spacious and you for people watchers you get views of passer-by's walking. It is darkly lit but has a comforting feel. The service can be a little erratic and in our party one person had their order forgotten. However, the management was kind enough to deduct this from the bill. The food is to a good standard and the wine selection is excellent. Overall a good experience with some fine tuning to service needed to be great.
J. C.
We went in this restaurant in the beginning of the week for the first time and we have been served by Juann a waitress that was very professional, nice and very attentive, he helps us with the best choices in the menu.
Was quite busy when we arrive but he gave us all the attention and talk a bit with us about is country Spain.
In general was a nice and organize restaurant, with a good menu with a nice price. I totally recommend it.
D. D.
Great food and superb service.
K. M.
Food is very good ,wine and service.
E. S.
Breakfast was incredibly well priced for the quality of it, absolutely delicious. Terrace tables are on the small side, so bear that in mind if dining as a couple; there was a lot of rearranging between teapots, juices glasses and jam jars. Service was very speedy to start but disappeared when it was time for the bill.
S. C.
Absolutely delicious food! Had no idea they had a terrace that was right in the edge of the thames it was delightful to be out there.
S. C.
I had a breakfast here, it was awesome!
V. Y.
Had a fantastic New Years eve at Cote in London Bridge Hays Galleria the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The waitress who served us, Natalia, was wonderful! The manager Marta who catered to one of my friends special dietary needs was so professional and made sure our experience was perfect. Been to many Cote's, this one is by far the best!
A. S.
This specific restaurant is part of the French group Cote Brasserie. Very popular, good service offering quality food and good value for money. Due to its popularity and location unfortunately they have recently stopped their promotional fixed price 2 or 3 course lunches. Good place to have breakfast lunch and dinner.
Polite and attentive staff.
G. H.
Lovely setting, Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and food was very nice too!

Great meal, great views outside, good service and value for money.
The sharing cheese board was wonderful
F. L.
Amazing food, good service:)
F. g. S.
Great restaurants with the views of the bridge
Y. K.
We usually go to this place every couple of months because we like the food and the view. Yesterday though our food was not what we expected with steak and duck definitely not medium rare and service quite slow. I hope this was just a one time moment because we love this chain and we want to come back
D. M. !.
Amazing location, helped by a lovely warm September's evening. Food was very good by "chain" type food standards. It did take a while to be seated, despite there being several empty tables, our Waitress was very friendly however and efficient. All in all a lovely evening with amazing views of London.
E. H.
I visited with a friend and we had wonderful time!
The waiting staff were amazing, they knew the menu well & provided some knowledgeable advice with choices.
With regards to the food, I can only but say, the steak was tender & cooked to the desired way. My friends choice of the pork belly looked fabulous and definitely warrants a 2nd visit to try.
Would recommend for a good, high standard, consistent meal.
A. M.
Beautiful restaurant
J. J.
This is one of the best managed La Cotes restaurants. I have been going for a while and ever since Yuan the manager joined you can see the service just picked up. He and his team are so hard working, the chef is great, food is always fresh even for large tables and a great view outside. Cant go wrong.
C. B.
I had the dinner with my family here and we had a great evening. The quality of the food was very good and the staff was nice. The waiter Solomon was very careful with us and thanks to him, we’ve tried the best garlic bread that really differs from the others we already know.
L. N.
Every aspect of this branch is spot on, 5 star service, 5 star food and unbelievable prices, they adapted so well over lockdown offering home delivery of some cote brassiere meals.
My review is for January,
Open soon please :)
v. b.
Stunning setting next to Thames. Wide variety of food. Always Friendly service. Now also have some vegan options which is so welcoming.
F. A.
We came for dessert and tried the creme caramel
S. C.
Had such a lovely evening at Cote. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be back!
K. H.
Beautiful food, served quickly by polite and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you. We will be back!

Lovely friendly staff and attentive. Food was excellent 👌

Like this place, lovely position usually very good staff and food.

Visited on Thursday mid morning 23 May 19 on a glorious sunny day. We both had a very good breakfast. 1 full English plus a vegetarian with coffee, orange juice and toast. A carafe of water was placed on the table without us having to ask. My cousin who has poor mobility was escorted to the toilet as soon as she got up without having to ask. Service was good and had a glorious view of the Thames. Will definetely visit again
M. B.
Good food, good location good price considering the location. Fish pie was great. Only let down by the service. We had to hunt someone down in the main part of the restaurant to pay. They were turning people away at that point so perhaps they were busy. Although there were plenty of seats outside on the river.
D. M.
My Mum and her friend want me to write this review about a very enjoyable experience here. In particular the excellent attentive service from Mariusz. They always love lunch out at Côte Brasserie and they are keen to return to this one.
D. S.
Nice surroundings and covid safe. Very close to the river and easily accessible from London Bridge.
G. N.
This is a very nice France restaurant, we order steak, grill check. All of them are very nice.
A. J.
I always feel rushed and crowded on the outside patio and a little unwelcome. I go with my father who is mobility impaired and it can be problematic for them to deal with accessibility issue as the only wheelchair access is through the backdoor via the kitchens! The food is quite good and the location fantastic
N. C. /. F. F. O.
good reliable French food, welcoming atmosphere though disappointing that boeuf bourgignon had run out by 1pm.
Above all, we specifically asked about wheelchair access but on arrival staff were surprised that the Access entrance was closed due to works in the street. Management should check the entrance every day and call any bookings requiring access if it's not available for any reason. Reservations should also be updated. Anyone who can't move without their wheelchair would not have been able to stay - a real problem if it's a special meal out! It made it awkward and tricky to get to our table.
s. h.
Speedy, friendly and efficient.

This specific restaurant is part of the French group Cote Brasserie. Very popular, good service offering quality food and good value for money. Due to its popularity and location unfortunately they have recently stopped their promotional fixed price 2 or 3 course lunches. Good place to have breakfast lunch and dinner.

Gorgeous breakfast. Loved the orange and ginger juice. We'll be back next week
B. H.
Good service with lovely food on the Christmas menu.
C. D.
Been here numerous times and I've had almost everything from the menu, everything is a good choice as it will be delicious. You will be served by friendly waiters and they can recommend choices for you if you don't know what to go for. I personally love their Fish Parmentier, you can't go wrong if you love fish food.
E. N.
We were served promptly , the food was nice but Ishan our waiter was just rude, shame really, he lost his tips. We had crab mayo, Roquefort salad and two duck breast. The duck could have been warmer to be honest and the fond de veau sweeter or with a dash of cherry flavour but nevertheless the duck was really good, melting in your mouth.
J. D.
Been a couple if time now. Wonderful outdoors seating with lovely views on a sunny evening, but equally nice inside. Staff are very friendly & efficient. Prices are fairly reasonable for the good food served, but personally I'd stick to the main menu rather than looking to save on their pre7pm menu which isn't as good. Gets very busy so book or get there early.
A. P.
Great location and the food was tasty and serve was quick. Allowed us to stay as long as we wanted even on a warm evening in the outside dining area, even though there was a queue for seats. Not expensive given the location. Great times.
p. g.
We have visited Cote Brasserie couple of weeks ago. The location is very good for this restaurant even Cafe Rouge also french is around the corner. We had a nice starter with some freshly made fugas bread. The mains were very tasty as well. My partner had a beef bourungon it was lovely. The waitress was very friendly and the service was with a smile. We will recommend this place to anyone visiting London. We will be back soon.
j. h.
View from the terrace part of restaurant . Lovely cocktails.... friendly helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere
P. D.
Only went for Sunday breakfast, but for such a lovely location and pleasant decor I thought it value for money. The food was fresh and well cooked. Croque Monsieur, Eggs Benedict and Full English. My only complaint would be: My black Americano was tiny and bland and no free refill was offered.
M. R.
Excellent. Perfectly positioned with amazing views of London, The Thames and HMS Belfast. Service was above and beyond expectations. Food was good quality at reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back.
P. F.
We have eaten at many Cote restaurants around the country. This London Bridge location is another lovely example of this brand. Great location, good service considering how busy they were this Wednesday night. Overall top marks
B. L.
Nice restaurant for a lunch after walking from the tower bridge along the thames. Enough space and friendly waitresses. Expect an optional service charge of 15%. We apparantly chose a ‘within 15 minute meal’, which literally came within five minutes after ordering. Nice if you’re in a rush, not if you’re in for a nice sit down. If you’re really in a rush, walk 10 minutes more towards the borough market. Much more choice, better prices!
a. m.
Have seen some dubious reviews of this place - our experience was wholly positive though. Tasty, high quality, french influenced food (from satisfying salads to perfectly cooked steak). Reasonably priced. We were there as a group - staff very good with children also. Would recommend.
M. &. M.
The manager ( pretty blonde lady 5ft ) deserves this 5 star review
She rescued our Christmas party.
Also the steak was the best steak I've ever had.

Enjoyed a nice meal of French onion soup and taboule sea bass. Quick and efficient service.
G. R. B. T.
Delicious! I was ready to order another one as soon as I took a bite.
E. H.
Went here for a work lunch, the service is really fast and super-friendly, and the food tasty and good value. They also had separate veggie & gluten free menus which suited our mixed group! Lovely location, relaxed atmosphere.
D. E.
I don't feel to give 3 star because of the location , but the food was not the best , I ordered a sirloin steak with truffle sauce , the steak was completely full of fat and the sauce hasn't had any truffle inside .
They could do better food .
K. O.
Lovely food and vibrant atmosphere. Staff very attentive.
R. A.
Great spot Next to River Thames, Hays Galleria and London Bridge.
P. Q.
Reliably good restaurant chain with consistently good food. This outlet is busy but has an enjoyable buzz to it. Thanks to Mariusz and other hard working colleagues for excellent service. Recommended.
D. M.
The food was superb. The staff were charming and attentive and the service was quick and efficient which was great as we were going to the theatre. We had a lovely table right by the Thames. Good value for money.
S. D.
Regular brunch place fir us.
N. D.
Busy, bustling but food always good. They mucked up one guest's order but owned up immediately and made amends for it. Good service from staff. Great location right by river.
G. F.
Very good food in a fab location and nice ambiente. Lunch menus good value for money, beer variety restricted, wine menu good. All good we had was very well prepared and tasty. Service standard for the UK.
H. R.
Great service and food. Ideal for a catch up with friends as so close to London bridge station
M. A.
Had a lovely evening meal here. Busy, but great snd swift service.
C. G.
Wonderful friendly staff could not have done more to make our visit special. The food was delicious with generous helpings.
l. c.
Very good Location, great tuna nicoise salad.
Staff is friendly and always smiling, I think our waitress was Simona, very good job, moreover the bill is honest. around 45£ for 2 people, very pleased with our choice.
K. B.
Even though the service was amazing by both of the lovely ladies, the food and the deserts wasn't that good. My peppercorn sauce was musty and in my partner's chicken was like the chicken fillet which is served in school canteens. Regarding our deserts, my creme brulee had no flavour although all the vanilla seeds were resting on the bottom of my bowl. My partner's chocolate tart was also made up by good quality ingredients but without a good technique and of course it was extremely bitter without any pleasant flavour. The only dishes which were descent were the apetaisers ( crab salad and goat cheese with tomates). It was really disappointing, because on that night we were celebrating out baby to come and we decided to dine in Côte Brasserie that we've been 2 years ago when everything was impressively amazing!
T. C.
The food was delicious. I had calamari and medium Rib eye. The lager is served in tiny lager bottles,so the taste is fresh but it's honestly too small.
S. D.
What a nice surprise. I ate here thinking it would be an overpriced tourist trap what with it having one of the best locations in London. How wrong I was. Crab mayonnaise sensational. Steak frites tasty. And tarte tatin delicious. Best of all was our server MARIUS. He could not have been nicer or more efficient; a credit to the restaurant. The place was full on a Friday lunchtime but everything arrived quickly. And the bill was surprisingly low as well. Recommended.
A. K.
Very nice food, and good atmosphere
P. C.
Would have given it 5 stars but the ser ice was slow. They made up for it with a free drink and overall I will return
V. H.
Always great service and the food is always spot on. The set menu deals are great; excellent value and a nice choice. Lovely ambience. Can't wait to go again!
P. H.
Good food, you always get that at Cote. We sat by the Thames looking at Tower Bridge. Nice!
C. S.
Sadly, many items on the menu were not available. It is Saturday midday so, disappointed
J. U. H.
I had Christmas lunch with my colleagues. We all enjoyed our food. Staffs were very polite, price was reasonable and food quality was great.
I will definitely come back soon. Easy 5* rating.
R. I.
Worth to visit
P. M.
Overcooked chicken, underseasoned cous cous and poor value wine choices
J. R.
Bustling and intimate environment even for a weekday. Friendly, efficient staff. The food and drink was brilliant if a bit overpriced. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. No complaints.
k. b.
Had a wonderful meal at Cote, London Bridge. Can recommend the Haddock goujons and for dessert creme caramel, both very delicious and filling
A. H.
Great location near the Tower Bridge! My friend and I came for the early evening special of two courses for about £12.
The restaurant felt cool, which was nice on a hot day and had a French like atmosphere. Pretty marble floors. Everyone at the restaurant dressed smartly. The waiter was ok. Other waiter staff brought out our food and cleared the table.
I had the pear and endive salad (this pieces of pear, some form of lettuce, croutons, golden raisins, goat cheese, and lightly dressed with a mustard dressing) and for dessert, I had the dark chocolate pot with creme fraiche. The pot was small compared to my friend's dessert. But, it was very rich and creamy. Tasted like a hint of expreso, which was a nice touch.
My friend had the salmon cakes with mustard dressing. For dessert, she had the crumble with apples, cinnamon, and vanilla ice cream.
J.
Been here many times and service tends to be slow. Waited 20 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink today, restaurant barely a quarter full. Ok place with decent food. Staff not as friendly as they used to be.
D. K.
Great service and tasty food near the river. Don't miss the french onion soup.
R. S.
pleasant place on the Thames bank, with typical dishes. we had eggs benedict and french toast, kids loved it, and so did we.
hope to eat there again soon
D. T.
Perfect atmosphere! The best cuisine.
W. K. K.
Reasonable price and tasty food.
j. c.
Standard Cote. Rotten service from one guy, great from one gal
S. P.
Food was good however I was left very disappointed with the service. We were seated and basically ignored for approximate 35-40mins we were just about to leave when a grntleman came over with no apology at first until we pointed out we were about to leave. He then apologised.. our order came missing dishes and we waited an additiin 20mins for a straw.. so this was disappointing.
D. C.
Found by chance and stopped for breakfast as walking towards HMS Belfast. Excellent location, very good quality food, friendly and fast service. Outstanding value for money.

Fine restaurant with a nice, cozy (and French-y :p atmosphere)! I tried the lamb dish and it was delicious plus a bottle of French Syrah (it was ok but probably not the best choice with lamb) price was ok, I recommend it and I will definitely come back

Cote is our go-to restaurant chain but this one was disappointing. There are far better Cote restaurants in London. Not recommended.

excellent service with plenty of smiles and value for money food...well prepared and tasty.

The staff so professional and nice. Food was awesome. Had 3 courses and great fun with a bun of mates. Will come again!

This is such an ideal restaurant to go for a mid-week dinner out with a friend that's casual but still elegant and classy. Their set early bird menu is a great bargain, 2 courses for £10! I've also been here for breakfast, and opted for the 'french breakfast' mainly because I am a sucker for boudin noir. Simple but sophisticated french at affordable prices!

Cote restaurants are so reliable. And this one is no exception. Food and staff always good.

Try to be a French restaurant, with some French dishes, but the taste and the quality are not. The steak frites is a very poor quality of meat, and the cooking is not as asked. (difficult to have meat cooks rare in London except in a French restaurant)
And the price is expensive for the quality.

Great food as ever at Cote. Good outdoor area in fine weather.

Food was reasonably priced and tasty. Service was good. Only critique is that although clean and tidy there are only 2 petite toilets on the ground floor.

Really good - pasta was a bit overcooked

I visited this restaurant on Tuesday 26th November with my sister and brother the food, wine and service were excellent. We meet up about once a month in town and visit the Cote Brasserie in London spending a few hours over lunch.

Had a delicious coffee on the river bank

Busy venue with lots of atmosphere. Good food and pleasant ambience

Great speedy service, lovely river views and good quality food.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I'm so glad I got my way and we visited Cote in London Bridge after having a beer in the Hayes Gallaria. The experience was all round excellent.

Fabulous breakfast. Excellent bacon and peerless boudin noir.

Went for lunch. Food was okay with a variety of choices. Nothing exceptional to write. Had to wait ages for the bill, despite asking twice although not overly busy.

We visited the Riverside, Hay's Galleria on 22nd July. Absolutely first class, thank you. It was a semi-spontaneous drop in for I had simply arranged to meet up in London with a dozen friends from way-back times, who were arriving individually from different suburbs from all over London. (It was not entirely coincidental that it was my 79th birthday the next day or that we had just celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary but I hasten to say that none of this was disclosed to the staff, before or after).
Around 12.30 I asked our group "anybody hungry, leave it to me " and alone slipped across to the restaurant to take pot luck. It was very busy but on asking was told that three tables were clearing but I could not reserve the terrace at lunchtime.
Asking for five minutes to round up my friends from the nearby pub, whose ages who ranged from 4 months to 79, I frogmarched them back in two.
What followed was the most delightful luncheon, its success hugely contributed to by the individual attention given to all by every member of the staff on duty on that terrace on that day, management, waiters, chefs. Incredible given that the whole terrace was packed.
I should add the food was adjudged delicious by all and sundry !

Generous breakfasts, clean, well presented food, nice bit of fizz available with breakfast too. Don't listen to the haters this is a good breakfast stop off if you're near tower bridge.
I can recommend the French breakfast

Lovely meal and friendly staff (we had a toddler and baby with us and they were very accommodating.) Quite pricey, but excellent quality and lovely bistro atmosphere.

Walked through and saw the fantastic steam punk water sculpture. Kids loved it and worth seeing!

Glad this restaurant was our decision!!Good food good views

The food was very good, and the view of the river was lovely. The staff treated us a bit rudely. Had to wait around 30 minutes after asking for the check:/

Had lunch at Cote Brasserie and ordered the Haddock (£13.50), which was rolled in a piece of bacon laying on a bed of braised puy lentils and baby spinach in a beurre blanc. Had the "green salad" sidedish, which was some lettuce with a dressing.
Loved the idea. The fish was a bit dry and the bacon often overpowered the taste of the fish. The lentils and the spinach were pretty good.
The staff was lovely and very attentive. Would eat here again for lunch, but probably not for dinner.

Excellent food, great location just by the river

Very tasty food and good service.
This is also the only restaurant which automatically provides water.

Nice venue overlooking Thames though not entirely happy with vegetarian menu.

You can never go wrong with Cote. It's that type of reliable places where you want a nice atmosphere, good and very amicable service and food always top notch. Not loads of choices, nor crazy recipes but no disappointments either. And if u get the offers, even better 👍😁

Great atmosphere and food. Gave 4 stars 2nd time I've been and had to have something else because they ran out of my mains. No lamb rump again.

Great place friendly staff and great food

Lovely Eggs Royale. Good size and perfectly cooked. The salmon was very fresh and great quality. Lost a star for no soya milk for my latte. Good service

I know it's a chain, but you've gotta be fair... Nice food, well made, great service. No complaints. Enjoyed it. Thanks

Good breakfast, good service, great location, and certainly no pricier than I'd expect in central London. Your bill will soon stack up, mind, if you drink the bottled beer at £4 a go.

Delicious cakes and cookies and wonderful cafe

Very good Restaurant with a varied menu. Great service and pleasant surroundings. Food was well cooked and well presented.

Good food, slow and inattentive service overall. Had to ask for several items more than once. Would like the place a lot better if it had better service.
J. P.
Great service, testy food. Really happy we had our anniversary there at the table with the view of the river.
I. R.
Food was delicious however i felt that there is a need for speed...especially if you are going to be confused in between orders! But generally nice food, good environment and smiling staff...

Perfect for a pre theatre meal. Great position by the Thames, with seating outside by the river with a clear view. Be sure to book during popular times.

Nice food and attentive service

Great food with views overlooking the Thames. Although it was busy when we visited, the servers were attentive. Would recommend reservation for peak times to avoid disappointment.

Very good food, but very busy and noisy place. Maybe good for a on one one business dinner but if more people, you will need to shout all evening.

Big restaurant with great food and friendly staff! The restaurant were a little noisy - but what else to expect when the restaurant is packed with people? All in all great experience! Recommended!

The food was delicious and the portion adequate. The staff is very polite and helpful. Absolutely lovely for breakfast.

Really good food and service on a Saturday lunchtime. Very pleasant location by the Thames. Book in advance for a comfortable seat. Highly recommended.
A. R.
Good go to place for food by the river. Food is average like any other Cote. Service was a bit slow and it felt as if they turned the air conditioning on later in the evening to make you leave :s
S. F.
Very good food and staff didn't like the first table we were shown by the host but were allowed table of our choice in the window very friendly atmosphere never had a bad meal
I. H.
Great location to sit by the Thames and look towards the City and Tower Bridge. Friendly efficient service and usual Cote standards
T. L.
Food pretty good, red wine a bit over warm. Good venue right on the river overlooking City. A bit difficult to hear conversation
because of acoustic consequences of hard furnishings.
P. K.
Great service from Juah! The best waiter in the restaurant! Thank you .
