Reviews of Côte Sloane Square
A. T.
Wow this place is packed with women mostly in lunch time. We have a lot of lady of leisure in Chelsea 😀. Cote was so nice, although very busy, the staff are very well organised and are on it with the service, excellent! Keep it up. The food was also gorgeous. The set menu was interesting and appealing. Overall i had a great time there and hopefully will be back again.
C. G.
The food was very good - French onion soup and Cote Burger. The service was excellent. We booked last minute but they gave us a nice table. Even when they messed something up, they made up for it — they forgot our coke so the manager, Krish, comped us a drink. Excellent service in general. We will definitely go back!

Cote - Sloan Square was the perfect choice for a pre-concert dinner. I arrived about 20 minutes before my reservation time and I was warmly greeted and seated. I have a food allergy so a manager stopped by the table to ensure that my needs would be cared for. The ambience and decor of this restaurant are very nice, bustling but in a quiet elegant way. I began with a kir royale. I then ordered from the prix fixe menu, selecting the salmon rillettes for my starter. The texture and flavours of this dish were very appealing. I loved the little cornichons and fresh dill. My main course was the pan seared sea bass topped with a fragrant pistou, which was absolutely delicious. My dinner was so enjoyable, and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

This is the best Cote I've ever been to. Service is outstanding (thank you especially to Daniel and Sophia). Food is always brilliant. A truly special space. 💖
D. W.
Had the salad nicoise today. Every component—from the seared medium rare tuna to the jammy eggs—was perfect. My friend had the chicken liver pate (parfait) which was also pretty incredible. Fantastic service as well.

Staff coped extremely well with our large party of 13 and it was great to have an area slightly away from the main restaurant. Food was as expected and service exemplary. Excellent location as it's right across from the tube station and convenient if shopping at Peter Jones.
L.
I really hate to speak ill of Cote because I've had such wonderful experiences at other branches but I was very disappointed by the quality of the dishes yesterday. From one dish being burnt to others not warm enough ... or steaks simply just underwhelming.
The staff were very pleasant (always are at Cotes) and this is why I have given the 3 (i would give them a four really) stars and why yesterdays experience won't stop me from eating at Cote in the future ... just not this branch.
(Picture is of the burnt meal).
P.s. please bring back the beef bourguignon, it was such a simple yet rich and decadent dish that you did very well. The beef cheek bourguignon just doesn't tickle the taste buds. Its one large piece of meat that's too big to blend in or compliment the other components within the dish.
D. O.
Impeccable service. Food was excellent and the staff and management team provide a first class service, going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure every customer has a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Other restaurants should take a leaf out of your book as you are perfect role models in how to look after customers. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area!!!!
F. P.
Such delicious food. Great value. Speedy service
Π. Σ.
Quality and tasty food. The duck salad was not something extraordinary.
D.
Busy busy but friendly start . Live the food at Cote . Always consistent and well priced
Y. A.
I had an amazing time here, the food was fantastic (Starters- calamari and bread, mains- chicken Breton and filet steak), the service was very impressive too. Thanks for a lovely lunch
D. W.
A very busy restaurant, busier than the other Cote outlets I have visited. The service not as good as we have encountered elsewhere - having to ask three times for water to be brought to the table is one example whereas at other outlets it has arrived immediatelyon taking our seats. Food as good as ever though
L. P.
We came here quite late on a busy Thursday evening, and although super busy I wanted to express my thanks to Geovanni who served us really well. Super friendly, efficient and great customer service. The food was great too!
C. G.
Always a welcoming service even at busy time. Typical atmosphere of a Parisian brasserie. Beef bourguignon is very good, the steak frites is ok. Kids menu has several options which is very nice and definitely different than other places.
S.
Great food, we had a steak and the beef bourguignon. Both tasted excellent and were plated beautifully. Even though it was busy when we visited around lunchtime on a Saturday, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly.
N. F.
We chose the Prestige Set Menu (3 courses). The food was delicious and the service was great. Overall great value and quality, especially for the location.
The only negative comment I have is as soon as we sat they brought olives and breads to our table. We believed these were complimentary, but we found them added to the bill. I have not experienced this anywhere else, and I think they should have made it clear they were not complimentary.
A. G. (. घ.
The staff and service is good. Although, the vegan/vegetarian menu is super limited. The food was served lukewarm. Although, I must admit it was tasty!
H. d. V.
Very French, great set menu with reasonable prices. 2 courses for 2 people each with water incl service charge £52 total. Good service, great atmosphere
H. D.
As usual our meal at Côté Brasserie (Sloane Square branch this time) was very good and excellent value. The beef cheek bourguignon was delicious, with really tender meat. The king oyster cassoulet was also very good.
The service was charming. The only negative was the background music which made conversation hard work. I think that when the restaurant is busy it would be better not to have music. It just makes everyone talk more loudly.
J.
Can never fault Cote. First time I've been to this particular one and it delivered just like the rest. Fantastic food, brilliant atmosphere and friendly professional staff. Highly recommend
C. C.
My friend and I had a lovely lunch but unluckily an unfortunate incident happened. The assistant manager and her staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind, truly professional and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
S. R.
Always happy to visit this cote.
Good service. Friendly staff. Food well presented and generally good. Fairly priced.
M.
First time we have been here and we were very impressed. Service was excellent, not to rushed, which we appreciated. We had the set menus and were delighted with the food and presentation.
J. T.
Great place to relax with friends. Plenty of choice on the Prix fix menu .. including for vegetarians. Most enjoyable.
Z. A.
Nice restaurant for breakfast, lunch , dinner and gathering. Food are delicious and service is always very good, friendly staff.
D. C.
Food flavours were delicious but the English Breakfast was sub-par to what we expected. Its not nice when the kitchen is inconsistent.
S. W.
Always enjoy a meal at the Cote chain. Had a wonderful french onion soup followed by a ribeye steak and the cheeseboard. Very nice.
A. G.
Very convenient to cadogan hall. Food ok. Very noisy. Difficult to have conversation. Have to repeat orders to waiting staff because of noise.
B.
Excellent, great place to lunch before going to the Satchi Galery.
We took the premium lunch menu at £20 for 3 courses and it was delicious.
The food is really nice and tasty.
The service is efficient, even though you may have to request the lunch menu instead of a la carte or special event menu.
The restaurant is good, maybe a bit noisy but the ambiance is what I would expect from a French bistro so it was a good experience.
Overal a very good place, with great value for money, which I'll be glad to visit again.
M. W.
Martin was new but very effective, we had an amazing lunch, he was attentive and responsive without disturbing us. The steak was awesome and my wife and I enjoyed our time there.
A. S.
Good restaurant’s with nice view outdoor
S. T.
The place is lovely. Nice place to go and eat with family and friends. The food is really nice. But the chicken wasn't seasoned properly. Friendly staff and Polite.
M. M.
I Love "The Cote" Francise of Restaurants, You always Get a Great Meal along with Great Service, & lovely Ambience. Visited Sloane Square Chelsea for 1st time and just as expected met all the requirements that I anticipated and would expect from a A Cote Brasserie I have been too many of their Restaurants, and The Cote Brasserie Brand is always worthy of a 5 ***** Recommendation.
a. w.
Stopped here for breakfast and impressed with the eggs benedict
Friendly, efficient staff, nice atmosphere.
A. J.
Friendly staff, reasonable meal, not the best , but good for a meal before going to the theatre, relayes to price, not bad at all.
K. D.
Tuesday evening. Buzzing. But enough seating. Good food. Served politely. Free wifi. All good.
M. H.
Great varied menu. Food was superb, service was brilliant! A really lovely restaurant.
F.
Nice french style cafe. Coffee good and decent range on menu. Relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff.
M. W.
Good French Brasserie chain. Based in busy Sloane Square close to major retail area and theatre. Consistently good food served in a very buzzy atmosphere by really nice staff. Great fun
S. N.
Lovely service by all the team...we didn't have a booking...was still seated straight away..was a lovely day out with my daughter for mother's day.
M. G.
Authentic French cuisine, but equally good for a great English breakfast. Excellent service and delicious food well served.
M. H.
Friendly service by waiters who recognised us after just two visits and continued their warmth on subsequent occasions. Food was quick to arrive and tasty.
I. M.
As usual, very good quality food from an extensive variety. Service excellent, considering it was very busy
M. A.
Excellent customer service, great food!
L. L.
Really nice restaurant I've been to many times.. But my food on this occasion was not very hot.
K. P.
Thank you so much, CÔTE, for being so nice, relaxing and hospitable both in terms of service and food. Always love coming here! I have a lot of favourites here, but the best would be the duck and creme brûlée for the dessert!
P. R.
I like cote restaurants always good quick service, good selection of wine beer's are a bit limited,
L. S.
Great chicken dishes. Excellent service. Very busy but it is Chelsea
R. l.
it’s wasn't same test as last time we was there i had coffee with soya milk! the forgot milk? by the time milke came my coffee was cold! we hope next time the have butter service
A. V.
One of our favourite Côte Brasserie locations: the food is always great here; the service is attentive and friendly, and the value for ‘early dinner’ menu is extremely good! I particularly like their chicken (poulet ‘Breton’) with the sauce provençale.
J. S.
I really wanted to give Côte Brasserie a higher star rating than I did. Unfortunately the first table we were sat at clearly had food detritus from the previous guest, along with the chair, furthermore the neighbouring table's chair had what appeared to be grease or oil on it. Oddly, in other parts of the brasserie I saw tables being thoroughly cleaned and relaid. The food itself was lovely, the venue attractive, and the staff attentive but not intrusive, which means I will try them again in the future and hopefully revise this review.
P. S.
The staff were very friendly and the tuna nicoise and rosé wine were delicious!
D.
Good food/sevice. Thank you.
M. T.
Amazing place, outstanding staff, thank you for a great meal.
A. W.
Always great value for money, good food and efficient service.
T. C.
Great food and nice comfortable surroundings pleasant friendly staff

Amazing place! We been served by Simon and service was quick, full of smiles and jokes. We got our table, drinks and food in the matterof minutes! Wine was delicious too.
Definitely wil return to this restaurant!🥰

Excellent breakfast don't be put off by price quality is well worth paying for...
A. G.
Fantastic service, atmosphere and great menu.
As always had a cracking meal at Cote, the whole family loves it, great value and can not fault it.
B. A. D.
Lovely hotel, very clean and the twin room we had was spacious and a great location. The day and night staff were great. Daniel on the front desk was so helpful and polite.
A. M.
Delicious creme caramel a must try in London
R. C.
Lovely food, not bad for London pricing ie £55 for 2 mains, 1 dessert, 2 ciders and 2 coffee's. The staff polite and helpful. They also do fixed price menu 2 courses 16.95 and 3 course £20.95 (as at Aug 21). Nice venue, smart decor.
Only big downside is the disabled toilet is down a steep flight of stairs! So only for those who can climb stairs and altho the restaurant is wheelchair friendly, the toilets are most definitely not. So 4 stars only and zero stars for accessibility.
A. C.
Very good service and very nice food .
M. L.
For a chain Restaurant food is great. We got the 3 course special and it is totally worth it. I ordered the pear endive salad salad starter and the mushroom mozzarella salad main dish. Everything was perfect. Service was also great.
S. S.
Good, not great. Very slow service even when almost empty. Good Fish Parmentier and fondant cake. Breton fish stew and creme brulee were lacking flavour.
L. H.
Revisited Cote on Friday 13 July and although having the same 3 course a la carte meal on the Friday (5 star review) the waiter we had was rude, the chef was obviously off par as the Pork belly was not as good quality as previous and the portions were a lot less than the previous Tuesday night. One portion was also half the other which shows a lack of supervision and quality control. I guess we won’t go back ad just shows the franchise model only works if you get consistency in process and people. Didn’t have the heart to reduce service charge as others clearly work hard at service .

The caramel custard with cognac on
a street table is a must do Sloan Sq Experience

Nice setting great menu especially around xmas. Good ambience. Good value for money and in the 💜 of Sloane Square.
S. R.
Best restaurant in Sloane Square. Wonderful service and great food
S. G.
We was a party of 10 on my table was 6 of us 5 of had calamari for starters which was very good . 2 of us had the lamb 1 was well done mine was pink as ordered but but where a little tough 1 person had the halibut this was over cooked and dry 1 had the chicken was was also over cooked and dry . I person had the fish stew which they enjoyed . I thought for the prices the food was poor . We agreed as a small group we wouldn't go back
J. B.
Had better vegan breakfasts, looked a bit lost on the plate. Plant based burger was lovely though. Had to grab our own water for the table as I think we kept being forgotten about.
L. A.
Great menu and consistently good food. Also great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Pleasant staff and as usual, Cote never fail to deliver great food and drinks and service.
B. S.
Very busy but they coped well. Food was okay considering how many covers they had. Family enjoyed and my grandson for his birthday 🎂 🥳
S. K.
From the most warmest welcome by the hostess to great service to friendly staff and delicious food, the best causal dining experience one could ask you. Went for an early dinner on Bank Holiday Monday and it was easy to get a table. We tucked into the Devon crab, minute steak and moules frites. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. Great to see you open again Cote. Recommended.
S. B.
We had a delicious 3 course gluten free meal here on our short stay in London. Great service and very reasonable prices. Many thanks
A. G.
Great experience, service was excellent, made to feel welcome from the second you walk through the door. We had the burger and corn fed chicken. Both were so good. Worth a visit.
H. C.
Great place for lunch. Sadly too noisy to hear oneself talk.
Lady waitress was OUTSTANDING.
S. M.
Good food ,great service.
M. O.
Lovely wine and dinner, everything tastes nicer when it's free bless his heart!!
N. D.
Busy, like all Cote restaurants, but the same high standard of food with friendly staff.
J. F.
Great to arrive fairly late in the evening to join two friends (22.15), and still find a hot fish pie, composed salad, and tarte aux pommes available. Cheerful and hospitable staff, too. Thank you!
J. O.
Very nice, buzzing restaurant. Good food, excellent quick service.
M. J.

V. H.
Lovely meal at a reasonable price good wine too. Lovely atmosphere.
K. C.
Great food, efficient and fun staff. Just hard to hear a conversation in the rear of the restaurant when it's busy cos of the sound bouncing off the hard surfaces.
E. A.
Always good healthy organically grown food from Brittany wines and champagne..Service always professional and waiters friendly and very helpful..best recommendation..I go there for all my meetings plus when I want a really good Kier Royal.
L. D.
Super yummy food and at a really reasonable price too especially considering the location!
S. B.
Very nice food . Friendly staff.
S. T.
Lovely atmosphere. Food not exceptional if you are a real foodie, but very reasonably priced for the area, and good value (big portions!)
S.
Very nice ambience and great food.Fast friendly and easy going service
T. B.
Very good food, the Fish pie is exceptionally good. Well presented and not too pricey for this expensive area. 😷👍😋
S. F.
Called in on spec late in the evening for a late dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Despite being busy the staff were helpful, charming and quick to take our order. Drinks menu was conclusive and offered plenty of interesting choices. Starters were delivered without much of a wait and were really enjoyable, main courses were every bit as good. Prices were a great deal less than I was expecting for a restaurant in such a prime location and no more than you'd find in any town centre.
P. B.
Lovely reasonably priced good food. Friendly staff.
P. V.
I didn't find anything special about it to be honest. Steak is ok but there are pubs that cook it better. Its just an average restaurant and one of those places to go if you are out of ideas and there is nothing interesting around.
M. J.
Delicious food, great value, AWFUL SERVICE
C. C.
I used to go here a lot but found my recent visit very disappointing. Not sure what is going on at Cote HQ but things have got very paired back, smaller portions, cheaper ingredients. Probably won't bother in future.
V. G.
Vegan Burger 👍🏼
L. V.
Always a good experience here - great staff, excellent value for money and reliable, tasty food. Super gluten free options too - almost the whole menu!
C. P.
Just walked in and was found a table at short notice. The staff were very professional and the food good at a reasonable price .. thank you . We will be back.
b. m.
i frequently enjoy a late breakfast here before attending various meeting. Staff are always polite. the food is consistently good.

Experienced efficient staff doing an amazing job in a very busy environment, outstanding.
Excellent food & choice.

Very enjoyable, friendly staff and efficient service. Food was delicious and well presented. Toilets were clean and looked after. Sufficiant hand gel points around.

This Pavlova came dead
J. P.
Helpful staff when we were in a rush and they were busy.
D.
On a very crowded concert night, the service was excellent as was the food. Who could ask for more than that?
C. D.
Good food, well cooked and pleasant serving staff. Lovely atmosphere, excellent value for money.
R. B.
Interior is a bit tired, food good but not as good as their Slaone Square branch. Staff attentive.
F. B. M.
I liked its location, few steps from Sloan Metro Station, they have nice food and tasty cream caramel.
A. H.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent and high class👏👏. Many thanks to our waiter and the manager in duty Giada G. The Fish Parmentier to die for it🙏🙏 Cant wait to visit your restaurant again
S. C.
Excellent meal, wonderful service, great ambience. What more can I say....
W. F.
We had dinner for a family of four there. Agree with all the previous reviews here: pleasantly surprised by the value for money here. Good quality, large portion of food here. For three course, it was less than 20 pounds each. Service was attentive and would definitely come back here again.
B. Ö.
Enjoyed the rib eye steak and fries. Service was good.
d. m.
I had lunch here with a friend today and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The food was very good all cooked fresh and very tasty. We had mussels to start followed by lemon sole which was cooked perfectly.
The staff were great, especially our waitress I didn't ask her name but she had long dark curly hair and went above and beyond to make sure everything was great for us.
Will definitely be back.
T. A.
5 stars for their cream caramelp
J. A.
Food was superb, service good and unobtrusive and customer service excellent. Dessert was five minues late and we were offered a complimentary coffee! The waiter was also aware of our time constraint. Happy days.
J. O.
I had the best impromptu evening meal I have had in a long time. Quality of the food as you'd expect to have, was simply elevated by the awesome customer service. So happy. Well done. Will definitely be back :)
L. H.
Really struggling to decide what star rating to give this place, the service is too quick leaving little time for conversation or a relaxed meal, it felt as though they were trying to rush us out of the building. Initially someone was causing a nuisance which meant the waiters were rushed off their feet which I can't fault but didn't add to our dining experience. However the redeeming factor is the quality of the food, which is sublime and greatly appeals to a vast pallette of tastes. In addition to this the ambience is pleasant and the decor is really nice. I think three stars probably does this justice.
E. S.
Lovely meal, and good surroundings
C. G.
We went there for the early dinner/pre theatre menu and we weren't disappointed !
This very pretty restaurant (think dimmed lights and warm colors) serves pretty authentic French cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by how typical it actually was in terms of the dishes on the menu. Service was very courteous, but they were very in demand and had to turn out people, booking seems to be necessary.
With the early dinner menu, we got appetizers, main and dessert for 15.5£. Quantities were not big, in good French fashion, but just enough to fill like you've had a good meal and you're not bloated. I would also like to point out that there were vegetarian options for appetizers and main, including in that menu, which is not common for French cuisine! No vegan option though.
In the end, it was a very good experience! I'm deducting one star for : the fact that the pre theatre menu was not offered spontaneously, I knew from looking at their website online but had I not there was no way of knowing ; noise level and weird choice of music sometimes ; it took us quite some time to be able to catch a server to pay our bill (which is however not a big deal because of how swamped they were)
C. H.
Love this place, food is fantastic, Good choice, never disappointed.
T. L.
A good quick dinner
Went here for dinner before a concert nearby. Dinner for me was calamari, steak, and dessert. The garlic calamari were very nice. The steak was just as I wanted it, with excellent chips!! Dessert was also yummy chocolate mousse with a side of vanilla ice cream. Service was quick, albeit slightly impersonal. Price was reasonable. A good, quick dinner.
K. V.
Atmosphere and service was brilliant! Howevr I had the half chicken and it was super dry, I ended up leaving most of it. This is coming from someone who ate a whole chicken as a snack - must be a big deal. I'm sure other options would be nice, but heed the warning!
W. C.
Great food and service was very good. Very busy
M. V.
Very busy pleased we booked a table. Nice food & service. Had from 2 course set menu asparagus to start then sea bream with veg and glass of wine. Friend had celery starter and a minute steak, which was bit tough, glass of wine. Bill came to £45. Gvfm.
M. F.
Decent value meal great choice menu. Second visit in recent time for pre-theatre meal. Fast service too. Recommend the Confit duck, not so much the 8oz steak (was alright but a cheaper cut). Generally though OK.
P. P.
Great food and brilliant service for all budgets .Famous for their delicious crème caramel.

I visited on Saturday 1st December 2018 at 4:15pm. The restaurant was very busy and full, I made sure to have a booking. When we arrived, people were being turned away if they didn’t have a booking. On arrival, two staff members were having a disagreement and looking flustered and annoyed with one another. They didn’t attend to us, but instead walked away and another staff member came to check our booking. On my booking, under special requests, I put that I was celebrating my 40th birthday. I was disappointed that nothing special happened. There was no complimentary miniature cake, no ‘happy birthday’ written in chocolate lettering on my dessert plate and no staff member wishes me a happy birthday meal. It didn’t spoil the evening, as my friends made me feel special. I can’t remember if there was music. It was very busy and noisy, so I wouldn’t had heard it if there was. The lady who waited our table was friendly, professional, lovely and smiley. I kept commenting on how happy she looked, because most (not all) her colleagues didn’t look happy at all. The food was absolutely fantastic and I can clearly see why the restaurant is so popular. Every time someone else’s dish came out, I got food envy and then mine came and it was really good. The dessert was just as good. There’s lots of choice on the menu. My friend is vegetarian and was able to have a good choice too. I couldn’t finish my meal and the waitress was able to put it in a very well sealed microwaveable container. I went to see a play after and the container hadn’t leaked at all. I would come here again. I wouldn’t recommend for a special occasion or date night, but it’s good for casual dinner with friends, or family meal.
B. S.
Polite staff. Good food, reasonably priced for Chelsea.
F. B.
Our 'go to' place for an early evening meal before a concert. Always busy so booking is ESSENTIAL well in advance. Can be very noisy so we always request a table near the door. Good service
P.
Once a year i stay at the Sloane square hotel next door to the brasserie. And every time i stay here i go have dinner at the brasserie because its just such a lovely place to relax and eat. All the dishes are fantastic, staff are friendly and welcoming, extremely attentive to service standards. And above all else their prices are very reasonable for such high quality dishes.
G. W.
Food very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean.
A.
Went here for a meal with a friend and it was hit and miss. One of our starters was nice, the other was lazily prepared (just salad leaves, chunks of beetroot and smoked mackerel) but the other (peach and feta cheese salad) was delicious. Same story with the mains: one good and one bad.
Cheapest bottle of sparkling wine was £23, not exactly cheap!
They need to make sure every dish is amazing, not just 50% of them!
M. M.
One day in London and we decided to eat breakfast in this place. Good location and nice food. My friend ordered English breakfast and staff mix his order but above this issue every thing else who's OK.
Nice place for lunch, drink or youst meeting.
A. B.
Good food well priced including the wine for London prices. Excellent staff service. A bit drafty though by the front door and seating is rather too close together.
F. K. (. M.
Nice meal. Nice ambience. I'm not the best judge of a restaurant that makes me uncomfortable. I hate sitting in the middle of anywhere - so didn't enjoy it at all. The fact that the place wasn't full at all irritated me. I reckon I'd have given this place a solid 4 and a half star had I not been pi$$ed off so I'd still highly recommend 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
A. R.
Popped in sans reservation, were asked if an hour was enough as they were heavily booked. We're fast eaters so no bother.
Good starters, delicious mains - I had the bourgignon- and good dessert, all out in 55mins. Our waiter, Vincenzo I think, was friendly and attentive without looming over us all meal. Closest I can come to a complaint is that the salt in the cellar was a bit damp - but that simply means they actually clean them out, and I've eaten in a lot of places they don't!
B. G.
A great brasserie in the heart of Sloane Square. lovely atmosphere and fantastic food and service. The only disappointment was the crepe which were chewy and we were told that they had been made in their 'central kitchen' whatever that means! I recommend it for a great meal but just don't order the crepe!!
t. t.
Tasty food, but small portion.
A. V.
Excellent food and service. All the staff are so friendly. Been coming here for the past 4 years and it's always been top top!
A. a.
Amazing food and so good service
L. V.
Busy and new staff. Noisy. Food slightly disappointing
K. R.
Just had a very good lunch at Cote Brasserie Sloan Square. Although it was absolutely heaving in the restaurant, the staff were very attentive and service was quick. We would recommend and would certainly come back again as the food was delicious.
P. D.
Brasserie with a nice atmosphere at Sloane Square. Good food, efficient and friendly service. Kind of loud, because its busy. Good for groups, would recommend it for a romantic dinner.
S. C.
Came here for dinner last night, was pleasantly surprised with the lovely ambience and decor. Food was decent - not bad but not amazing, but it is a reasonable price for the food you get, as well as a good set menu. Service was great and overall the dining experience was very good, just a bit crowded and noisy as well as slightly underwhelming food. But this place is still worth going once in a while.
W. G.
Don't waste your money at a Pub, Cote Brasserie is the place to eat. Great food at a great price. We ate at the location in Canterbury for lunch and then Sloane Square for dinner. We will be back here again tomorrow.
A. R.
Excellent location and great service. We made sure we had a reservation because it was incredibly busy. Great food selection and good drink choice.
B. V.
This is definitely one of the better Cote Brasseries possibly due to its superb location and sophisticated clientele. Service is extremely attentive; food is usual Cote Brasserie standard which is quite bland but the decor is lovely and elegant. Restaurant is always buzzing day and night and atmosphere is electric. The only downside is you will have to shout across the table because it is quite noisy.
M. B.
Amazing service, friendly staff
A. G.
A lovely french Brasserie in a perfect location in the centre of Sloane Square. The have a very reasonably priced breakfast menu and a solid selection. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Would definitely return to.
J. T.
Great atmosphere in Cote, buzzing! Food is always delicious and service and servers are very attentive. Always book here when I'm in this part of town. I had steak frites, perfect.
A. Y.
Food at Cote Brasserie which is part of a large chain of similar restaurants is always nice. Service is friendly and efficient and food is served without much delay. The breakfast served here is always popular. Price is relatively competitive.
S. X.
Table wasn't ready on time so was offered a complementary glass of prosecco, which was nice.
I went on a Thursday night, the place was crazy busy and tables are so close together. It was hard to hear my friend sitting opposite. Felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Food is ok nothing to rave about. I don't think I'll be coming back.
R. P.
8 of us enjoyed the pre-theatre menu on Saturday and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The meals were all of a high standard at a very reasonable cost and the staff were unfailingly attentive and cheerful. We'll be coming again.
S. S.
Almost back to normal, good staff.
A. G.
I would rate this place higher if it weren't for the location (there is often a blocked view if you sit outside and the pedestrian pathways are quite intrusive). However if inside, the food is varied and charming which is great as the booths inside and the decor are phenomenal and really cool.
K. W.
Considerably better than other brasserie chains. Capable staff who understand customer service. Food at least one notch better than similarly priced competition. Better table density than much of the competition too - here it would be necessary to lean to one side in order to place a glass on the next table with an outstretched arm. Studies have shown that restaurants with more space between tables tend to have higher repeat business and this place is certainly worthy of multiple visits.
N. S.
The food is reasonably reliable as it is with any Cote, and they have a decent range from the light snack up to the larger meal. The steaks are pretty good - you'll never have an amazing one, but a poor one is very rare.
Service ticks the basic boxes but they're letting it slip and they are painfully transparent in their commercial approach (try to be very chatty at first and gradually let you down with lack of attentiveness, often showing a bad attitude especially if you haven't picked options that make them more money, like drinks or dessert). Getting their attention so you can get the bill is always excruciating no matter how busy (or not) it is.
T. R.
Good value food for the location. Very quick service which is ideal when going for a cheap set menu; they understand why people go here at different times of the day. Good service and nice drinks menu.
D. T.
Good service at this busy restaurant. Given where it is located, they serve quality food which is reasonably priced.
You won't go wrong here, food is good and there is lots of choice.
A. L.
Value for money Good food atmosphere & service
R. W.
Average food at average prices. Doesn't hurt the wallet, so I guess most people find it affordable enough and the ambience is respectable enough to invite someone there for a date or business meeting. You won't be wowed by the food, but neither will it be a complete let down.
A. T.
Food pretty reliable. Great chips but easy to cook better steak at home. Service more variable depending on the waiter, sometimes quite slow.
G. B.
It is what it is. A formulaic fast food restaurant which delivers for the price better than most of its type. I find it amazing that there is such a variance in ratings for service, how can it be both one star and five at the same time? I think a lot is down to how customers treat the staff. Some people seem to think they are God - get a life I say!
M. J. V.
Although part of a chain, this restaurant manages to be quite true to parisian brasseries serving french comfort food including lovely onion soup and robust meat dishes. Great place to warm up in winter.
J. Y.
Well placed, right in the middle of Sloane Square. Less than a minute's walk from Sloane Square tube station. Perfect for breakfast, before a shopping spree on the King's Rd. Lunch, coffee... Small, intimate, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Staff very accomodating.
Z. S.
Nice and friendly staff... Good price for breakfast for a premium area
C. Y.
Really enjoyable experience.
A. B.
It is true that it is quite crowded just before "theatre time" but totally worth the wait. Best atmosphere I have seen in years in a brasserie. Intimate and buzzy fuzzy at the same time, the meal was delicious, the staff was great... nothing more to ask.
W. M.
Food very good and NOT expensive, service was good and very helpful
S. S.
Lovely food great value for money with the set menus we had the prestige 3 courses for 20 quid. Service fantastic from Giuseppe and crew.
M. F.
Had a great group reunion at this brasserie, despite our very large group, all food was served timely and hot. Great atmosphere too. Thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
M. F.
Food amazing, price reasonable , the only down side is that they always so busy that can take a while for the waiter to come to your table. Otherwise superb
E. S.
Best creme caramel ever.
Noise level not good but worth the steak frites
N. E.
Absolutely beautiful food, atmosphere and staff. All staff are attentive, friendly and can't do any more for you. Would definitely recommend visiting whilst in London.
J. C.
Stopped for drinks after Chelsea flower show. Very good customer service by our waiter.
C. S.
One of the busiest, if not the busiest of the central London Côtes, due to its idyllic location. Food very consistent in the usual Côte manner. Just be prepared for a wall of noise if you should find yourself sitting in the main eating area at the rear.
C. R.
Popped in for a quick bite to eat prior to a concert. Very efficient, food was good too. A bit noisy, but that is the case in many establishments these days with tiled or wooden floors.
L. F.
Very nice meal and friendly staff.
g. p.
Going to Cote is always a great experience, I have been to several branches and the quality and service are always up to the standard. The lunch and pre-dinner menus are great value and definitely recommended. My personal favourite is the Chelsea branch as the decor is typical French brasserie.
A. H.
Such a lovely cosy restaurant. Could do with moving back the reception desk a little as it's very close to the door and restricts people leaving if you have people waiting for a table. Speedy service, lots of happy customers and friendly staff. Food is delicious and reasonably priced.
R. A.
I had a delicious Christmas luncheon here with two glasses of glorious french pinot noir at exactly the right temperature.A charming waitress, I think from french west Africa , was an extra bonus .The bistro is attached to the Sloane Square Hotel.. If the room had been warmer 5 stars.
B. “. V.
I did the 3 courses meal for one price that includes appetizer, main meal and dessert.
It is really worth the price as well as the food is super good. So I would definitely recommend this place.
K. B.
The food was tasty, especially the crêpes, however the experience was dampened by a very filthy table and seat. We needed to use our own tissues to clean our table and seats of leftover food bits and crumbs.
J. H.
Buzzing. Madly busy all afternoon. Fab food and free cocktail. We weren't rushed at all thought some bigger tables were in demand. Looking forward to the next visit.
N. S.
What lovely helpful staff work here. A good place to eat before a show or concert. It's always busy so try to book ahead if you can.
G. T.
Nice food and friendly service. Full English breakfast was very good and reasonably priced compared to other local places. Food wasn't as hot as it should have been, but apart from that highly recommended
R. L.
We had a good meal on the set menu. And the chocolate pot was really lovely.
Good value too, so worth paying a visit.
h. f.
Service good had champagne, onion soup poor...had better less money 🤑
D. D.
Great coffee and pastries, the service was excellent
C. P.
Good food. Reasonable. Went to the pre theatre booking at 6. Service a bit slow but it does get busy so forgivable.
J. M.
No set menu available. The services was quick and staff courteous. Food was well presented. Recommended.
C. W.
Ate there on Saturday evening around 5pm. Very busy but still fairly prompt service. Table was available as soon as we showed up (we did reserve). Friendly service from an obviously very busy waiter but he still had a smile on his face.
Sirloin was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the onion soup starter was overflowing! Sourdough bread was good but not particularly 'sour', but that was fine. Wine was a proper 'mise en bouteille au chateau' Corbieres - absolutely smashing paired with the steak and not bad for London prices.
Good pre- or post-theatre eats if you're headed to the Royal Court theatre (though they also have a restaurant and bar, so try that too), and almost within triple-jump distance of the Underground.
You invariably know what you're getting with a Cote and this didn't disappoint.
K. O.
Good vibe lovely staff lovely food and cocktails. I would visit again:)
c. f.
Excellent food. Fast, friendly service
O. S.
We had an amazing breakfast. Fast and delicious food and friendly staff. 5x stars.
Е. Х.
Nice place, very good food, good service and reasonable prices! We were very pleased with everything!
I. S.
This Cote does not compare to the North London branches eg Highgate, Hampstead or muswell hill. They serve burned salad nicoise. Unedible . They are very busy because of location but I left very unsatisfied. Service good.
D.
Here right now and have to post how good it is - literally a walk in for drinks and a light lunch, greeted really well.. food and service very good, buzzing with energy. Definitely coming back next time at Sloane Square.
C. C.
As always wonderful staff delivered good quality food. Though the best deal is only available before 7. The duck breast was as good as ever.
J. M.
Good friendly fast service and excellent food to suit all tastes. Good wines too. Recommended for a pleasant and tasty outing!!
L.
I can't express how good the team work together and how good the customer service is. The food has always been amazing and the prices are reasonable. My go to spot for sure.
N. F.
Consistently good food and service 👌
Very reasonably priced considering the location and quality all around.
Y. M.
Nice place with French food. Usually they have couple of soups. Lifehack 1: if you don't like ice in your juice, tell them in advance. Lifehack 2: they like to interrupt your conversation asking how is you food. Be aware of it :)
L. C.
Very busy but food is mostly good. A bit overpriced but nice for a special meet up. The Cote in Fulham Broadway is less crowded and has a better atmosphere.
A. G.
Always very good quality food, beautiful buzzy atmosphere and great service and value for money.
T. S.
Very nice food, and good service!
P. J. C.
Another excellent meal at Cote Sloane Square. Mussels normande with delicate leek sauce, duck confit all lovely. House red a good choice too
M. S.
Wanted to give this place a great review, but I couldn’t. Had it not for the location, this place will never survive in London. Chewy and undercooked food, slow service and rather indifferent waitstaffs....
T. T.
Very delicious meal. Good customer care
C.
Very fast service. Lovely friendly and competent Italian waitress. Simple and predictable menu but well executed. I asked for a rare steak and I got a rare steak.
W. B.
I come by here for drinks all the time as the nearby bars are overly crowded. There is a shortage of bars in chelsea, but this restaurant have no problem to cater for 'drinks only' customers.
N. S.
Delicious food. Friendly staff.
S. S.
Very busy place but we had good service and the Prestige Set menu had a good selection and the food was very nice. Good value all round!
M. d. T.
My husband and I really like this place. Great traditional French food! V. nice
P. F.
Food not to bad, not sure why chips need to be served in a mini bucket tho. There are a lot of tables so can feel like a canteen when really busy.
P. S.
Excellent food. Staff well trained and helpful. Slick service and no waiting.
J. R.
BREAKFAST Is absolutely lovely. Great price too.. friendly staff and lovely ambience. Would give 5 but we were a bit cold in there.
R. B.
Central to the Kings Road the service and fare was very pleasant. Early dining, whether pre theatre going or hunger due to lengthy shopping or even as a tourist visit, is welcomed warmly.
B. J.
Great to be able to visit one of my favourite venues again. On my birthday
S. A. A.
Lovely creme caramel and creme brulee.
S. M.
Service was fast and with a smile, we had a lovely waiter, great choice of food and drinks, which were very tasty, lovely atmosphere, busy and spacious restaurant, would definitely return
D. M.
Friendly staff. Always enjoy eating here
W. T.
This restaurant always fits me in even without a reservation. I have always found the service quick, especially if I mention I haven't a lot of time to spare. The hot chocolate could do with being served warmer.
J. P.
Food was excellent and the place great. The service was on time. The atmosphere great. It was a very good price and it is definitely to recommend!
K. M.
Lovely vibe. Excellent breakfast fast service very pleasant waiting staff. We were a big group and they looked after us well
S. S.
Great. The staff were very busy but did their best for everyone. It's always nice food.
L. P.
Good food and a real buzzy atmosphere. Good sevice. Excellent before a concert or show. Gets busy so book.
A.
The food was simply outstanding. And the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and location. The creme brulee is to die for.
K. M.
Lovely food ,although a little slow when ordering, buzzy atmosphere and very reasonable price wise
M. H.
A reliable chain restaurant, with a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices (particularly in this area). It can get busy during shopping and office hours, which makes stuff seem rushed getting people through.
M. R.
Good food at a good price. Attentive service made it an enjoyable meal.
T. S.
Good quality typically French food. Great value for location. Friendly service and a good wine list too. Would go again.
E. G.
Nice food, great atmosphere.
M. W.
Typical French brasserie food. Nice potted pulled pork starter. Good atmosphere and service.
J. D.
Great atmosphere and good quick service
D. O.
It took a while to get someone to sit us but when they finally did, it was well worth it. It's a very popular place due to the location and it does get busy. The food is great and they are accomodating of changes one wants to make. The sirloin steak served with the creamy spinach as I had requested was tender and melted in the mouth. The roasted breast of duck with the gratiné was equally delicious. The crème brûlée was ok; I have had bettter one. The attention to service is remarkable. They charge 12.5% service so you don't have to worry about how much tip.
M. W.
We've had some problems with service, but the food is reliably good, and we like the atmosphere. Great stuff!
A. F.
Visiting Cadogen Hall for an evening performance. The Cote delivered wondered pre-theatre menu which set us up beautifully.
Great service.
J. E.
Great food, lovely wine and a lovely set of staff. All helped by the atmosphere. Thank you.
S. M.
Great friendly service and excellent breakfast menu. Bacon baguette now top of our Anglo French culture blends.

M. E.
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service

C. D.
Amazing the food was out of this world. Staff were very friendly would definitely come back again.
A. T.
Do it. We were searching for a good meal on Sloane square. Had to take this restaurant. Never heard of of it, but it's it's a good one. Take the rib eye steak.
V. B.
Good value, good food, good social distancing, what's not to like?
T. E.
Great food, service, and ambiance. Horrible 'discretionary' service charge applied at 12.50%>
L. D.
Was here tonight for a second meal with a newish friend - had the chicken and two beers - good food, large portions and service was acceptable
M. R.
Busy bustling with great service. Côte never fails to deliver.
L. M.
Food as good as usual with very attentive staff in this branch. Also properly cooked calamari, soft, not chewy like anywhere else
C. P.
Very busy on Sat evening but seated us promptly and service was quick and efficient. Food was good.
P. V.
Fantastic food, although the service was chaotic. The waiters brushed the hair of one of the girls on our table several times, while wizzing around.
S. R.
Food as good as it usually is at Côte. Service was very speedy and the staff friendly. My seafood linguine was delicious.
V. W.
I like Cote but this one seems quite dated: the room is hot and quite tightly packed. Service was good, food was fine.
D. B.
Fantastic food, very helpful staff and not too expensive
C. D.
Great food at reasonable prices. Lovely location and very efficient staff.
D. L.
Very fast service and excellent rib-eye.

A reliable chain restaurant, with a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices (particularly in this area). It can get busy during shopping and office hours, which makes stuff seem rushed getting people through.

Food was lovely, a bit pricey but atmosphere was great so didn't mind
J. F.
We went to have a late lunch in a snowy day and we were delighted both by the food and the waiter's service. We will repeat when we are back at the area.
T. S.
Nice location right on the square, sit outside and you can see all manner of super cars but it's still a Cote Brasserie so the food and drinks are fairly prescriptive
R. C.
Very friendly staff. Good food, very good prices
T. C.
Near the The Royal Court Theater, Sloan Square. Great simple food. Convenient for a pre Theater dinner. Fast service.
K. S.
Good GF selection. Great dessert. Outdoor tables = Nice spot for staying the world go by.

Quick bite before a concert at Cadogan Hall. Good value for money but my mussels were stringy and many could not be opened.
B. W.
Great Breakfast here. Nice and hot with crispy bacon and very good scrambled eggs
S. A.
Food and service good but exceptionally noisy. Not somewhere to go if you want a conversation.
P. C.

I used to love Côte but the most recent menu leaves much to be desired.

J. B.
Lovely food, good portions and great value
M. L.
Great service friendly staff clean
Very nice food I would definitely recommend
S. V.
Lovely staff, very attentive, however, food is only average and acoustics are awful, so, with a full restaurant and everybody talking, we left with headaches because of the noise.
P. D.
