I have been meaning to go to this place for a while - the Barking branch was too far for me to conveniently go, but I was so excited to find that this branch had opened while I was in Hackney running an errand. I cannot recommend this place enough - absolutely lovely, calm atmosphere, food was amazing and flavoured well (even the salad!) - their homemade lemonade is also lovely and a novelty, as most places offer fizzy lemonade/sprite. I had the pleasure of meeting Cristina herself who was an absolute sweetheart, and took care of me personally. It’s clear that the place is run from the heart, and I absolutely will be back. Very glad to say this place more than exceeded expectations!

Deffo will be back for that a burg not to be missed. The venue was nice and cosy and perfect dinning settings. I was surprised by how warm it was inside there loved it!. Most venues I been to recently have been cold inside so this was noticeable easy. The hospitality I received while I was here was superb was greeted and seated and given a good run down of the menu. Beef Nuggets Now I was expecting pulled beef but I received a melting piece of steak covered in breading which was 😋😋😋 Some pieces were tough on the corners but the middle was soft. Jerk Wings Wow this were delicious full of flavour fully cooked and moist the sauce drizzle with it gave it a nice hint too. Garlic Prawns These were fresh meaty and the garlic butter infusion was strong but what you would expect 😍. The American The smash patty inside this was a little thick but went well with the red cabbage and cheese the burger was biteable abit messy but the good come messy. The Mess Wow what a burg full of flavour the brisket jhezeeee my mouth watering now 😋😋😋😋 this is the highlight burg at this joint you have to buy copping this one!. Handcut Chips These were perfect size ratio how I like my chips if I were to have them I enjoyed the sauces that accompanied them too. Was so excited when this opened up in Hackney as it’s much closer than Barking. The place is done up nicely and a great atmosphere. Love the food here, can never fault it. I always go for the brisket burger, it so juicy and tasty. The steak here is really good as well.

First time visiting the Hackney branch after having been to the Barking one. Have got to say the customer service is miles better here and sunday roast we ordered was amazing, both left stuffed and happy. The manager Sara looked after us well and made the whole experience worth it. Interior also lovely, cant wait to go back!

When I found out that Cristina's was opening in Hackney, I became really excited as Cristina's is one of my favourite restaurants in London. I went to visit on a weekday evening - Food was FANTASTIC! Excellent service as well. A big thanks to Sara who looked after us really well. Loved the fact that the Menu changes each month, but the classics are always there. A 10/10 for the food and flavours. This was the first time we visited the Hackney branch and the customer service was brilliant! Sara was amazing, she was super nice and made us laugh. The interior decor was so lovely and sweet. And the food was amazing! We all got the Sunday roast and let me tell you we were stuffed by the end of it. The whole experience was fantastic and we can’t wait to go back!

Amazing food. I had The Mess burger and it was super filling. The meat inside was tasty and tender. My family got the T-Bone steak and lamb shank, both of which I had a taste of and I enjoyed very much. We also had the sticky toffee pudding which tasted amazing. Definitely would come back again for the great food and great service!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening, starters were amazing!!! The jerk chicken wings and prawns were delicious!😍😍. Mains- rib eye steak and mac n cheese on the side. . Oh my it was super delicious!!!!. The customer service from Sara was brilliant! She looked after me very well!. I would highly recommend this place to go and eat!.

Great food! I had the garlic prawn starter, the mess burger with chips and a white chocolate cheesecake and it was all amazing. The manager was also so lovely and the customer service from her was excellent. Loved everything and will definitely come back again!

I've visited Chritsinas in Ilford and it was really really bacj there I had the mess burger which was soooooo good but living in Hackney it's quite a way away to keep revisiting so I was happy to find out they had opened one up here so I had to visit! The food was OKAY - and the service of our main waitress, She was outstanding! But all in all I think the food isn't really worth the price!! I've had better steaks (not the best cut and not much of it) that cost either the same or a little less. I mean £3.50 for sauce that should come with the steak anyway, was a bit off putting.

Staff were friendly however the wait for the food was extremely long and for me not worth the wait. I had the burger with mac'n'cheese in it (I believe its called the mess burger) for me the beef pattie was dry and very messy to eat hence the name I guess, but would perhaps order it separately.

The gravy and mash that came with the lamb shank was divine… the vibe and dynamic of this place is welcoming and cosy, I really enjoyed my experience and Sara topped it off with her lovely personality. A lovely place! The food here is very hearty and down-to-earth and the people were wonderful, which always makes a place special. I didn't actually have a steak (I know, I know!), but now, all I am thinking is that I should rectify that as soon as I can as they offer all kinds, all the way up to an expensive and massive porterhouse. What I did have (slow-roast lamb) was delicious and well-flavoured. It would be worth exploring the sides, as well. The malbec wine was also a very nice one. Payment is by a QR code, which proved very simple.
