Z. W.Strong and authentic flavours. Serves classic dishes and also dry hotpot.
Dry hotpot can be quite spicy, would recommend the “slightly spicy” 微辣, portions are also quite large.
You need atleast 5 portions of ingredients to make one pot. But this would be enough to feed 2-3. Don’t be like us and have eyes bigger than your stomach
M.Their spicy dry pot was sooo good. They have 4 spice levels: Mild, Medium, Hot and Extra Hot. We ordered Medium but I thought it could be spicier so I asked for them to make it spicier - which they kindly did. The second time around the spice level was perfect for me (which might be spicy for Londoners). We had beef, chicken wings, rice cakes, lotus roots, fish and tripe in our pot. I would definitely recommend the chicken wings and rice cakes. The rest was great too.

It's busy and good feel. We were starving and booked a place to eat on Chinese new year. Very busy, our rice was not cooked properly but was exchange to like for like in 10 seconds. Super quick for raw rice.
Staff is polite and very lovely.
Thanks will refrain from visiting again as Food quality is sub par.

L.Their foods used to be delicious and authentic Chinese foods, but recently we ordered takeaway from Crystal China restaurant, taste is normal, portions are smaller, sometimes are salty and too oily, pricey and no more complimentary crackers! Spicy dried hot pot not tasty anymore! Please improve otherwise you will lose more loyalty customers.

M. H.Recommend this place for mala xiangguo 🤩 huge portions considering its in London! You can legit smell the fragrance right when the food hits the table 🤤 we ordered:
Mala xiangguo (with whatever ingredients we want hehe)
Salted egg tofu (MUST order!! Very useful to cool down the spice 🌶)
Fried pork intestines (sounds grim i know but its very well fried like must tried)
Rice (FREE REFILLS LIKE WHAAA??)
Mango sago dessert (perfect touch to end the meal)

K. L.Outstanding experience! I definitelly recommend this Chinese resturant. They specialise in something called dry hot pot where you can mix multiple ingredients (meat, fish, veegatbles) min 5. It is a must try, It easily fills up 2 people. The more ingredients you take the bigger the portion gets but ask the staff and they will recommend how much to take.
What I found amazing are the employees, very reliable, helpful and attentive. It was our first time time at this resturant and we didn't know what to order. The staff was very kind and recommended a delicious dish. I loved every moment spent at Crystal China. We also got some prawn cracker while we waited for our main, how nice!
It was a very positive experience overall with exceptional food, kind staff and good price.
Must visit if you are in Bermondsey area!
