J. J.Good but not exceptional. The service was on point fir what we experienced. There was 12 of us and all served on time. The buttery naans were the star of the show and the mix grill was decent. Parking is N issue in that area.

H. S.It is one of our favourite restaurants, It is quite nice compared to what you can find in close vicinity. Their shami kabab is one of the best and their kulfi is a must try. Great dessert, try the falooda.

O. K.If you want a mix grill on the Broadway this is the place to be! Presented on a thin kulcha naan and meats cooked tender! Meat falls off the bone and the flavour is devine. Enough for 2 people! Roughly £10 per head including drinks.
S. A.Good food. But terrible service. You have to ask for each and everything and that too repeatedly. Only 1 waiter for the whole restuarant and almost all the tables were full. Later another person came to help him but still was taking too long.
S. Q.Food was very good and had a lot of flavour. Lamb chops were cooked amazingly and portions sizes were good. The service was decent but hard to get the waiters attention sometimes. Very cheeky to leave a bottle of water on every table and not inform you that they charge 2.50 for the bottle before you open when this bottle is normally 50p in the supermarket. Once given our bill and we asked for the card machine the lady came and said our receipt was wrong and she quickly added the charge for the water which we weren’t even told about.

S. P.Went there on multiple occasion, most recently for breakfast, and I loved it, tried Halwa puri, Chicken paratha and haleem. And I can't speak hugly enough of how the food was exquisite! On top of that me being a coffee person and just love their tea, surprinsigly good! Atmosphere is nice, staffis also looking after you very well, des[pite some misundertstandingm, which can happen to everyone and are always quickly sorted. I will definitely go back there again and not only for breakfast, as we went there for lunch in the past and the same applies. Most recommended.
R. R.It is a lovely place to go to eat as a family. There isn’t much taste in the food but for kids it’s good.
Z.The food was yummy and generous portions. We were a group of 3 friends out for dinner and ordered a mixture of starters and main courses. I would say the service could be improved. I felt there were moments we were waiting to get the waiters attention and were being ignored. We also had quite a bit of food left and asked for it to be packed only to be passed from one waiter to another. The first waiter told us he will bring us boxes to pack ourselves and second one said he wont be a moment and spent 30 minutes to come back to us and packed our food in the end. The drinks were nice but need to be presented in proper glassware rather then a mason jar with watermelon print on it, looked like something you would serve milkshake in, to kids at home. I ordered a pina colada and it tasted amazing.
We split the bill between the 3 of us and asked for receipts as we paid by card but the waiter taking our bill said no receipts are given and the copy that comes out the card machine is for them to keep which i found a bit unusual as other restaurants print out two copies and one is for the customer.I think this restaurant would do much better if the service could be improved a little otherwise food is to a good standard.
T. N.Food was absolutely amazing! There was a guy who was trying to attract customers walking by the restaurant. I was skeptical but I agreed to sit down. That was the best decision I made that day since I got to try their amazing dishes. It can be pretty spicy (I eat a lot of spicy things), so be careful with what you order.
•. a. -. c. •.This is one of the best restaurant on Southall Broadway. I visited this place with a family and was warmly greeted by the well dressed waiter, everyone was professionally dressed which is rare in Southall.
On arrival we were given complimentary poppadum and salad and sauces arrived immediately. We ordered mixed grill and grilled Seabas fish both of them were extra ordinary.. for the mains we were recommended Dawat Special Chicken Karahi which was one the best karahi i had in London.
The entire trip was brilliant. Thank You team Dawat :)
A. L.Food is okay. You get what you expect from a normal asian restaurant. Service could be way better. Have to say it was very busy but staff were running around like headless chickens. Waiters weren't sticking to tables. We had to keep calling waiters and requesting what we needed - they could have been more proactive - didn't even give us a menu. Then as i was finishing paying my bill the waiter started cleaning the table expecting me to get up even though i had not finished my drink.
U. N.The best restaurant in Southall London. I have been here many times with my family and friends the service is on top and food is always cooked fresh in front of me at the front kitchen. I suggests to eat lamb karahi here which is proper lamb not mutton.

They also have a party hall upstairs which we have attended on different occasions. They are the caterers for this too. Much cheaper than the restaurant we were regulars at which is also in Southall. 1. L. M. :.The service here at Dawat Southall is a bit below average. We ordered paya , but there was a very small quantity of food. Then, when we asked a waitress if there were bigger quantities of food, but apparently there wasn’t. To summarise, I think the taste is nice but the quantity doesn’t reflect the price.

T. B.I visited Dawat with my parents for the first time on a Saturday evening. We were cordially welcomed and they agreed to change the table to our choice. Please note that unlike some of the other restaurants on Broadway, reserved parties share the same floor so it can get noisy. We ordered the seekh kebab, shami kebab, desi chicken karahi on the bone, nihari and Lahori chana. For drinks we had fresh orange juice and Falooda. The food came incredibly soon after ordering, which may raise doubts for some about freshness. We were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the food, given the highly competitive prices. My favourite was the chicken. The service was the best I've experienced in Southall, with particular note to our waiter Usman. We also ordered a takeaway chicken tikka for someone who is much harsher in her opinions and she loved it too! Dawat goes straight to my top 3 restaurants on Broadway and I look forward to going there again!

Z. H.Best of All in Southall. Their Mixgrill is cooked live in front kitchen and taste lovely. Supper service staff all are very friendly and helpful as well as attentive even they have arranged a cab for me what more could you ask in a restaurant.
H. S.Had a breakfast in Dawat. I didn't know which of the restaurants are good for breakfast in Southall so just walked on the broadway to see which restaurant is most busy and it was only Dawat. Had breakfast there for the first time and it was AMAZING. I would say a little bit expensive than other places. The seating area and environment is good. We had:
- Poori choolay Halwa (8/10)
- Sweet lassi (9/10)
- Salty lassi (9/10)
- Laccha paratha with Omlette (9/10) came with yogurt and achaar (pickle)
- Aaloo paratha (9/10) - came with yogurt and achaar (pickle)
our total bill was £27
All in all, great taste, little bit expensive, good seating environment, right on broadway (need to find parking which is a challenge in that area), friendly staff, your clothes will smell later due to smoke so be prepared :)
M. K. G.We have been here a few times and even ordered food for dinner parties and everytime it has been on point. The service is always very good when we have eaten at the restaurant, which is clean and comfortable. Toilets are always clean which is mostly a down fall in asian restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place.
I. H.Overall the seekh kebab roll and the reshmi kebab were extremely tasty and the naan were a little thinner than the usual tandoor which we preferred.
I think the food tastes better than the other nearby restaurants.
Downside is that the staff is extremely busy as it usually would be for a weekend.
Only option for water is to buy a bottle they don’t offer tap water.
My 4 stars is for food quality
M. I.it was ok, the biriyani they gave was huge but its not the type of biryani i enjoy as it has all sorts of bits in it.. the mango lassi was delicious anyhow and the shish kebab was lovely. seating is good and customer service can improve alot more.
m. h.I went to a upstairs area to celebrate a wedding. The food took incredibly long to arrive and you had to serve your self and it was a huge crowd of people around he food. There is no prayer room so you has to pray in the corner Infront of everyone. Nevertheless, the food tasted nice but the experience overall was ok.
f. h.We booked a table in advance advising them we needed a space for a stroller and high chair but the one they gave us didn’t meet these needs so we moved to a larger table near the toilets which easily seats 10. The space was more private and we worried we might be ignored by the waiters but the service was very good. Speaking Urdu helped and our waiter Usman was really great. I can’t say the same for the other waiters but we got complementary mineral water, green tea and naans. The food was very good but tbh similar to the food at the large restaurants within walking distance. The mango lassi was cold and sweet, drinks icy, food hot and served quickly and the girls cleaning tables were efficient and polite. They packed the left over food for us and allowed us to sit there for a while after the meal chatting. Their card machine ‘wasn’t working’ which seems to be the trend in Southall restaurants... good for families, priced reasonably, if you get a good waiter (ask for Usman) you will have a fab meal.
* parking is a nightmare. Free parking after 8pm in the roads around, don’t even think to park in McDonald’s! Parking directly in front of the restaurant is free after 7pm. Paid parking is very limited. Herbert Road carpark is your best option and is free after 6:30pm.

Ive been going here for the past few months and only recently have also been doing take aways from them too on a girly night in.
Me and my friends are very hard to keep happy with the authentic taste of our food as we are all good cooks.
I have to say there food is YUMMY!!!! there starters are mind blowing especially the Masala fish, main courses are so tasty each spoon of any dish makes a different sound of Yumm... come out LOL ...
The haleem , Chicken tikka masala and butter chicken with garlic naan is definatly "I MUST TRY ON YOUR MENU".
Me and my girls definitely recommend the food....

H. C.First of all the service here is always wonderful. Staff approach in a friendly manner and are always there when called upon. Food is nice and good quality with decent portion sizes. I would recommend the haleem and lamb kebabs. For dessert their falooda is the best I've had in London.
W. S.Food was average overall, mixed grill, curries and naan were just how you get in any average asian eestaurant. Chicken biriyani was nice, but paneer tikka was too sour. Decent seating area and washroom. They surely need to improve their services, as somebody else rightly mentioned that waiters were walking around like headless chickens. The worst part was that they refused to serve tap water and made us feel bad asking for it in the first place. When we insisted on tap water instead of the very overpriced local-no-brand water bottles, they filled up some used plastic bottles with warm water in a hot weather, from a not-so-clean sink tap which I am not sure they themselves would drink water from and made faces. Obviously no tips given at the end and won't visit again.
S. H.Average restaurant which serves Pakistani and Afghani dishes. I found it little pricy than other restaurants in the area. Not sure if I'll go back again, as service was slow, lots of noise specially the loud music from the function room upstairs. And the queue of take away makes it unpleasant.
b.My husband is an extremely fussy eater, he actually shocked me by telling me to write a review. We absolutely loved the food here and will definately be visiting again. Seekh kebabs, halwa puri and a cup of desi chai to go with it, you just can't go wrong. Tasty food with great customer service; we highly recommend you visit here.

A. A.Been here only once because our experience at our usual place Gifto's was not pleasant last time. Nice trendy place and the food we ordered was very nice. As with most upbeat restaurants in Southall lately, the prices were not cheap but it was worth it. The staff was very friendly.
M.I go here regularly, on this instance the waiter was an absolute moron, very slow service, the plate had a hair on it , another customer was complaining of the same issue and the waiter said it could be your hair in the plate... that’s no way to talk to your customers.
Ordered the samosa chaat, Chana daal gosht and Rogni naan.
Told the waiter I didn’t want the dark sauce, when it arrived it had the sauce on it, had to send it back and waiter said had to cancel the order for chaat, cannot get it without the sauce.
Meat and rogni naan was good, ordered an additional rogni naan had to wait nearly 20 mins for it to come, then the food was cold.
M. K.Nice fresh and spicy food , if you emphasis on having a mild spices they will accommodate your wishes but don't expect to have Asian food with no spices at all, I'm crazy about their freshly baked variety of nan breads as I preferred it over rice .

We went on Sunday iftar buffet, where we ate awesome tasty dishes. Each and every dish taste was unique and mouth melting.
In terms of management and ambience were also best i would say.
By getting nearby restaurants experience, i would rate best restaurant as Dawat restaurant in southall followed by spice masala, TKC and then Gifto's.

A.Went shopping with the family to southall on the 22nd October 2017 then went past a few restaurants as we were hungry and thought no at first but then the man standing outside the restaurant named FAIZAAN said to take his word that the food is good... and i was not dissapointed the food was great and their customer services was top notch as we had the waiter and bosses who came and asked on 3 occasions if we are ok or needed anything else. I will definitely go there again for great food,service and the bill wasn't hefty unless I fancy a peri peri chicken. So hats off to FAIZAAN..well done your doing a good job

A. A.Biryani is the best dish of dawat restaurant. All other pakistani dishes are good in taste. I like karahi and paya as well. Good for birthday parties and small gatherings. Parking is free after 5:30pm.

Their lunch deals are great and can be combined with breakfast (served until 12) options for a Brunch any day
