They sell rock and chips a rarity lately. Good potions and freshly cooked, no dirty cooking oil here at the moment. Clean surroundings and nice people serving. The kebabs look good I hope they are as good as their fish and chips. Watch this space for updates!

Looks more like a kebab house (which it is as well) than a chippy so I was a bit unsure. Needn't have worried, proper chips, really nice fish cooked to order, and huge portion sizes. Good service too. A good find.

There was a bit of a dip in quality a while back, but you wouldn't know it now. I go for the excellent fish & chips and while I wait for it to be cooked (worth the wait) I see an incredible amount of orders being taken over the phone, while the delivery app printers produce more, keeping staff and delivery drivers busy . Excellent value for money and the staff are friendly.

Delicious fish and chips, they cook the fish fresh when you order and the cod is delicious every time I ordered. The staff are very friendly and the prices and reasonable..havnt tried the kebabs yet but they look very appealing and fresh and I will try and update this review soon!

What an amazing taste for food , I was so happy of the quality of Cod & chips,so fresh that I couldn't believe how delicious and fresh the cod and chips is . My partner ordered lamb shish kebab wrap and told me she hasn't had a wrap like this in ages..she was so happy. The service was excellent and very welcoming even though they where so busy we was told they are cooking our food and we was updated of the progress then our takeaway/collection was on time ready to collect. I will 100% recommend everyone to pop in and try Dennis Chippy amazing chips .. tell a friend to tell a friend. The finest food in East london.

I have used Dennis for years and although I've had items missing on multiple occasions they apologized and rectified the situation so i have continued to use them but recently they have hiked their prices up and not just by 10p-£1 some items have gone up by £1.50 and even £2 for example a chicken burger meal was £5 and now its £7 when i questioned them about it all they say is ' the price of everything has gone up' to which i understand to an extent but i just feel they are being greedy they have been open during the whole pandemic and are always busy so i dont think the price hikes are necessary so unfortunately i will not be ordering from them again!

Wonderful place to eat was there yesterday had shish wrap and chips on the side. The meat was well cooked and soft tasted 10 out of 10 😁 and the chips was soft inside and crispy on the out side and did not have too much oil fantastic place to eat 😊😊

Best chippy in Leyton! I have ordered fish and chips from here before and decided to risk the nuggets once. I haven’t had nuggets in years as McDonald’s was my fave and well it’s not halal, I’ve tried various halal nuggets and they are usually horrible tasting and rubbery BUT these actually taste exactly like McNuggets which takes me back to childhood memories! Ordered the kebab after my husband recommended it and even that tastes great! I don’t usually order kebabs from a chippy as I don’t find they tend to be great but I was pleasantly surprised! We got 3x combination kebab and a portion of 12 nuggets on just eat. They gave us a massive portion of free chips as well! Brilliant because we are stuffed and there’s leftover!
