I must say one of the best restaurants with TOP service, my friend booked a table for 12 people at 8.30pm for her bday, one by one everyone was coming in…. Bday girl didn’t arrive untill 9.30pm (1hour late 😂) kitchen closes at 10pm …. The staff were soooo polite asking us professionally to order before the kitchen closes and to make sure all 12 were here … one by one the table turns into 17 🤣 they are so fantastic they moved us to the back happily and still served all the late comers IT WAS a really happy environment extremely attentive staff, they went out and beyond….. had a great evening, will definitely be coming back Thanks LOVE PHONG x

A group of 4 popped in today for a work lunch, very quiet, but this was understandable as it was in the afternoon. Very nice classy venue, the staff were very attentive and helpful with deciding on what to order both for drinks and food. Thank you for the recommendation of trying the chocolate mousse. it was very nice, and I would agree that it was brilliant. We hope to be back very soon.

Absolutely divine, I stopped here yesterday for a coffee and ended up having a salad for lunch was very impressed I returned today for a dinner in which I had a lamb shank the flavor was everywhere was absolutely incredible, spent the last half hour talking with a lovely couple. We have eaten in her and had a takeaway last night. Eat in was for a 90th birthday large group with young children who were made more than welcome and fantastic food and service. Last night same persons birthday we did a takeaway collect as there is no delivery ( we're only in oakwood) again very quick service and magnificent food I think Deraliye has gone to the top of my favourite restaurant list, we will be back.

I couldn't fault the food but was disappointed with the service, we had side dishes missing, had also asked if we could pay separately as there was 24 of us some people drink others dont but was told to pay altogether and sort it out at the end of the evening which took an hour and was stressful trying to sort it out. Then we was still £62 short we couldn't work out why but was told it was service charge which I ended up paying as I felt bad for my family. I felt like we were an inconvenience and had no help from the staff, it ruined my birthday meal and upset me as I picked the restaurant. I do understand it was very busy but just felt awkward and uncomfortable

Polite and friendly staff. Had a good night with my work friends tonight. Being Monday evening, it was quite and as we stayed until midnight, the staff was very polite and didn't make us feel rushed. On average, each dish is between £12-20. Bottle of wine is about £50, that we found pricey. Decor was nice. Place with music in the background and good seating for the small party. Thank you. We enjoyed our night.

mixed meze starters good. It seems out of a party of 14 some mains were overly salty (chicken and lamb shish). One member of the party had their main come out late while the service continued with all sides coming out. When the main meals were cleared and desert menus distributed the staff took the orders for 6 members of the party and seem to forget the rest. A disappointing experience in overall service.

Very tasty food and great chips. But super tight portions. Large lamb kebab (Debatable more like a super small) for £16... Wow!!! Could of bought 2 kebabs and had a lot more....... Not quite worth it at that price.

Outstanding. Incredibly well prepared divine mezzes, excellent meat which cooked to a perfection, succulent and tender. Really enjoyed their home made baklava and Turkish coffee as well. The decoration and selection of music also very fitting for a relaxing lunch/ dinner. This restaurant is a cut above the rest of turkish restaurants in London.

Been to many of the restaurants in Cockfosters but this from the outside has got to be one of the prettiest. A beautifully decorated Turkish restaurant. We were greeted and seated ASAP. The starters were tasty and different to your standard Turkish bread and meze bundle which can leave you in a food coma. We had the mix for the mains which wasn't bad. It was a good portion of meats all from very good. Cuts. Worked out to about 35 per Head which wasn't bad considering we had wine. Would I come. Back again. Yes. As I really. Didn't have any complaints but wasn't too excited either. Still. A great restaurant within the area and a must try.

The food is amazing, the guys are just the best! The twins (one is a chef and the other maitre d) also make the place so memorable! A must eat if you are in Cockfosters.

Always so so good in here! Meat is delicious, soft and marinated well. Salad that comes with the grilled meat meals is also a fav of mine, love the dressing. Been coming here for a while now, and can honestly say quality is never compromised. Staff are lovely too. Definitely recommend

Staff is so lovely and welcoming, the energy spreads! It’s quite busy but you don’t feel it the food is great! Somehow, tastes you never thought of together fit into these dishes. Great service. We ordered sea bass and chicken shish. The fish was absolutely amazing and the service was kind, prompt and always smiling. Highly recommend this place.

from the decor to the service, Deraliye was beautiful! The complimentry flatbread was the best flatbread I have ever had! The waiter came and brought us some more half way through our meal! We orderd a many hot mezzas and dessert. The food is presented so beautifully and packed of flavour! We will be returning soon to try out more of the menu! Such value for money!

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Gave high expectations, but food was very poor. Had a greasy and cold veggie kebab. Portion was small for price. Service was slow despite being 20% capacity on our arrival. 2 orders were delivered wrong on our table of 4. From arrival I was planning to return with other friends, after eating I decided I probably won't return.

The best Turkish restaurant I have ever been too. The food was absolutely delicious and so fulfilling. The staff were all lovely and friendly. We celebrated my mother in laws 50th Birthday Party and were really looked after. I would definitely recommend anyone going here. Thank you guys!

This place has fast become one of my favourite restaurants. I've been about 4 times now and every time the food is impeccable. The service is very good and very friendly. The environment is spacious but cosy and there is normally always somewhere to park right outside. I highly recommend Deraliye to anyone that likes Turkish food. And if you have never tried Turkish food, this place would be a perfect entry to it.

Lovely food. Went on a Saturday lunch time and although not too busy the service was extremely slow. For the first hour we were there only one waitress doing everything for all 4 tables in the restaurant. Took us 20 mins just to order a drink and another 10 mins to get it

The restaurant is well located and there are lots of places to easily park. The interior itself is great - looks sleek (especially the area around the bar) and the main seating area is spacious and airy. The service, from first welcome to goodbyes, was friendly and very professional. The food was also really great - I think with Mediterranean cuisine it can be easy to do the bare minimum, but these guy certainly don't. Every piece of meat was cooked and marinated perfectly, as were each of the sides we orders - the chargrilled onion was particularly great.Between the one meat eater, myself who doesn't eat meat particularly often and the one vegetarian, everyone left full and happy.

We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary last week, the decor is an Ottoman theme throughout including the rest room!, the surroundings are lovely, and the service is excellent! the food is delicious!, We recommend the Octopus, which is the best we have ever tasted!. We booked a reservation here for Father's Day and had a great experience. You are sometimes worried about turning up to a restaurant with 3 children (including a baby) in tow, but we were made to feel so welcome and the staff made a fuss of the kids. The food was excellent, came quickly and the staff were attentive. They even split an adult portion onto 2 plates so our 2 boys could share which worked well for us. Lovely food, great staff - highly recommended!

Nice place kind staff but the alcohol prices are abit To much £16 for a half of glass of wine. I ordered a mix kebab and was waiting for much more for the price i paid. But unfortunately it didn't turn up as expected

One of the best places in Barnet to go for Turkish cuisine. Their food is amazing and well proportioned for the price you pay. They went all out to cater to our party for my husbands birthday. Stunning Turkish restaurant with friendly staff. Their mixed grill is beyond compare assuming you can bully your fellow dinners to join you into the sharing platter . I promise it is well worth it . I really loved the haloumi for a starter but they have a wide menu to suit most tastes

You know what, this place is ok, pretty decent actually. I like Turkish food and the food here is nice. The menu is varied and everything was hot and fresh tasting. Six of us in our party (all seasoned foodies) and all very happy. The venue is pleasant and the chairs very comfortable. Music is a little too loud so conversation is difficult. Staff wise, they do their best, clearly nobody there is a professional restauranteur but I get that, and it's fine, I don't expect silver service in a Turkish restaurant, sorry I just don't. It's different in France and Italy where you train for years in hospitality. Most of these excellent Turkish restaurants are just first and 2nd generation immigrants trying their hand in the restaurant game and some (like here) do it quite well. I read another review here (the guy with the cake) and I have to say I don't agree with you. You asked for a cake and then you have a problem if they charge you for it, bizarre. Yes many restaurants will give you 'something' if you call ahead and say it's someone birthday. But the 'something' is left to the restaurant. You clearly asked for a cake and want it for nothing, odd.

If anybody told me what’s the best Turkish restaurant to go to in North London id definitely say this place, food is exquisite the place is clean and remarkable, the only thing they could work on a bit is maybe more staff but other than that I love it, superb!

My wife and I visited Deraliye for my birthday. It's local to us and opened just a few days ago. The restaurant itself is well presented: I liked the decor, it is very bright and light, with a large chandelier in the middle of the room, a nice combination of traditional Turkish and modern feel, and an attractive marble bar at the back. The food was good, but nothing special. Although it was very well presented. We shared lahmacun to start which was very nice and then sheftali/chicken kebabs for main. Service during the evening was friendly and attentive. However. Because we were there for my birthday, my wife called up in advance and asked them if they could do a surprise cake. This is quite a normal request for an occasion and most restaurants are happy to offer something on the house. So after we ate our main course, they did indeed bring out a cake with a candle. It was a chocolate birthday cake, the sort you can buy from a supermarket for £5 or £6. Which I thought was nice. We had a couple of slices and then asked for the bill. When the bill came, there was a charge of £15 for the cake. I almost fell off my chair laughing. I called the manager and told him there was no way I would pay that. In every other restaurant, this gesture is on the house. If their policy is to provide an full cake and then charge for it, they should have told my wife when she called them. In any case, charging £15 for a cake worth about £5 is a joke. And an obvious attempt to rip us off. Anyway, the manager asked how much I would be willing to pay! So I told him maximum half of the amount. So he went away and brought a new bill with £7.50 for the cake. And after we paid, nobody asked if we would like a box to take the rest of the cake home. Really disappointing from the restaurant and a shame that they would try and rip us off in this way. It's also very stupid, because this restaurant has only been open a few days and should be trying to establish a reputation. I won’t return and have told other people about this incident.
