Reviews of Dirty Bones Kensington
T. P.
I really enjoyed the place! The food came swiftly, the drink was delicious (and I got it for 5£ during cocktail hours) and the shake was really well made. It was the first time I saw a Mac&Cheese Brisket Burger and it didn't disappoint! Left there satisfied and happy. And of course the decoration is pretty cool!
N. N.
The chicken waffle was delicious and the experience was super fun, went with a couple of friends and had the best time ever. Our server was Miriyam who was so amazing and funny and made sure our bottomless brunch went so well!
Would recommend
A. S.
Food was amazing. Would recommend trying the Southern Fried Donuts, also the Flat Iron Steak and the Crunchy Lamb Fries.
The staff were great and so was the service.
Will definitely visit again
J. R.
This is a mixed review as we had some really great dishes, and some we were disappointed in.
Cheesy fries - 7/10. Good portion, needed more truffle as we couldn’t taste it but the cheese sauce was great.
Lamb fries - 10/10. The lamb was SO tasty and went great with the spice.
Cheeseburger dumplings - 9/10. Very tasty, does what it says on the tin.
Mac daddy burger - 5/10. Good idea, tasty mac, but poorly executed. There wasn’t enough sauce and the burgers were well-done so it came out pretty dry. Flavours were good but it was hard to eat.
Service - 6/10. Staff were friendly on arrival and took our order quickly, but did not check back on the food and were not easy to make eye contact with if you needed something. Felt somewhat forgotten.
Atmosphere- 7/10. Cool bar, but freezing cold in the aircon so our food went cold QUICK.
Overall an ok experience but for the price, we would have expected more from the service and the burgers. Would probably go again for the fries though.

Comfort food at it's best! Went there for an early Sunday dinner, couldn't get through on the phone but were greeted warmly by Aries and seated quickly. Fried Mac balls were a great starter. The lamb on the lamb fries was delicious (we had the spicy bits on the side), cheese fries nice and not too overpoweringly truffle-flavoured. Mac Daddy burger was great, chicken burger decent but not as good as the other dishes. The staff took special care of my wife's nut allergy (especially Vicky, who has a similar allergy), and we finished it off with the amazing cookie dough waffles and caramel sauce.
A. P.
Great place for guilty pleasure food and drinks. And fantastic venue for listening to classic hip hop and RnB music. The in house DJ was on point. Would definitely come back.
S. E.
What a lovely evening spent having dinner! Being a vegetarian, finding somewhere that does actually good vegetarian food, is a struggle but wow Dirty Bones did deliver. Both mine and my partners burgers (veggie and none veggie) were delicious and side of chips were spectacular. Accompanied with a refreshing cocktail, I would highly recommend.
L. V.
Very nice atmosphere, more than decent prices, good selection. The chicken and waffles was really good. The lamb fries were decent. I am definitely keen to visit again and try some of the burgers.
S. R.
Food: The Mac Daddy Burger was really taste and juicy, the rib was really easy to take of the bone and was a pleasure to eat. All the sharing plates were really good as the portion
Service: Miriam was really friendly and attentive since we arrived until the end of our dinner experience. She was really happy to recommend some of the dished we had that night and did not disappointed us at all. She is a 10/10

A great place to eat at a reasonable price in Kensington.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Decent selection of food and drinks which were delicious and plentiful.
Would definitely recommend.
N. H.
Looks really sleazy from the outside and the stairs with its bright red neon lights make it look like a massage parlour but once you are seated the staff are really friendly and approachable and help you with your choices. Cocktails were brilliant
O. H.
We had a work team meal at Dirty Bones Kensington last night.
I had a great time. The food was delicious, and the service really friendly. They coped well with the challenges presented by a large group who wanted to play musical chairs when we first arrived!
Particular highlights were the chicken, the ribs & the cocktails. I am sure we'll be returning.
N. J.
Had a great time here, bar was tiny but managed to get a spot for happy hour! The host came across as if he’d rather be elsewhere but all the other staff were amazing!
Drinks were great and the food tasted great too! Only lookout were the rack of ribs, barely enough to feed my 10 year old.
K. M.
Quite a nice atmosphere for a bite to eat. The food was okay, the fries were actually really nice! I would highly recommend them. However, the burgers are nothing special for the price, we did think the vegan burger was especially overpriced for the quality.
We were a bit disappointed that we came for a nice meal out together and received the order in less than 15 minutes so our night was cut very short because of this.
The staff forgot our water which we order at the start, but mistakes do happen. The staff never once came to check on how our meal was going.
G. B.
Delicious food. Baby back ribs to die for!!! Generous portions!
Great selection of cocktails.
Loved the decor and staff was super friendly.
Will be back!
M. O.
Very nice food and reasonable price for Kensington London and very nice friendly staff and atmosphere
R. S.
An absolute gem. Loved it. No booking but the looked after us really well. Great food, drinks and service. Will definitely come back !!!
A. R.
Food was delicious but that is not something new for me as I've been eating here often. What was something new and truly pleasant was Miriam's service, first time I see her and definitely a great server.
S. B.
Iwe had a really nice bottomless brunch. We had super tasty cocktails. The manager of the place was really kind and Miriam, our waitress was really attentive. We'll definitely be back!
s. a.
It was a nice cozy place with good service. I tried the set meal and it had large portions. I'd recommend the pork ribs and the chicken wings.
T. R.
Very accommodating and such great vibe and ambience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is out of this world amazing. My girlfriend had the ribs which just melted in your mouth and I had the double mac burger. OMG love it. I will return, thank you.
L. S.
Thank you for another great evening. Epic food and drinks, super venue and lovely team - thank you Miriam. Dreaming of the mac n cheese and shakes today!
S.
Amazing food, can't fault it at all, well priced, quick and friendly service! Love the aesthetic of the place as well, a little underground treasure. Highly recommended for all burger lovers!
l.
American style comfort food: items such as chicken & waffles, Mac 'n' cheese are what your to expect: highly recommend. Dessert wise grab the "donut and coffee" (the other desserts seemed a bit too rich) - I'm a fan of timeless cocktails, and wasn't sure if their versions of the drinks would work, but ended up liking the Rhum Old Fashioned - it complimented the chicken waffles well.
We were ushered to leave the table a bit early (we had less than 2h) and we couldn't hear the live music from the dining area but overall recommended for dinner.
M. M.
Came here for bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon - tasty food, well priced drinks, relaxed vibe and Miriam our server was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would certainly visit again!
S.
Food was 4 stars, but the service provided by Miriam was 5 stars. The basement location was not ideal but the ambience was relaxed and cozy.
Z. A.
Food was okay. Would rate it a solid 7 out of 10. We ate the mac daddy, beef brisket, buffalo wings, classic burger, truffle fries, lamb fries and the cheeseburger dumpling s.
Service is good, interior has a nice vibe about it.
J. L.
Great food and amazing service despite a couple of hiccups in the order.
Staff went out of their way to rectify the situation and make sure we were satisfied.
M. N. D.
I Loved This Little American/English Styled Restaurant. First Time Coming Here Was Treated To A Birthday Meal By My Partner, We Ordered The Spicy Wings W/ Blue Cheese, Some Fries & Cold Drink, The Food Was Great And Tasteful, The Ambience Was Great, and Very Family Friendly. Great Place. Would Recommend 😇
N. M.
This is my second visit to a Dirty Bones chain, the food is incredible as is the decor. The staff are very friendly with a great attitude. On the food, I ordered fish tacos and it was simply a mouthwatering but delicate experience. Really enhanced by fresh lemon juice and light dressing.
D. G.
My wife and I visited last night and we both had a great time. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but when you go downstairs it is such a cool venue. The way they've decorated it doesn't really feel like you're in a basement. The staff are so friendly, they made the visit much more enjoyable. Then the food.... it's really good! Chicken and waffles and a mac m cheese burger were cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a visit, whether you're in a couple or a large group.
W. K.
Came for weekend brunch. Fried chicken with waffles were crispy and yet tender. Short ribs were underwhelming, lacking some texture. Buttermilk drops were average. Yet to try the sweet menu, but overall an enjoyable experience with friendly service! Would recommended booking for weekend - which can be easily done online! :)
F. O.
The Dumplings and the Ribs were amazingly recommended by the staff which were well worth! Love the ambience and the vibe the place gives out. Very retro old school game mood along with a pinball table as well!
F. L. B.
Enjoyed our meal here very much. The baby back ribs and the mac 'n' cheese were superb. The milkshake was the best I've ever had.
F. D.
Fabulous meal. Me and my girls just had an absolute blast. Throroughly recommend the feast although definitely don't wear a tight dress XD Staff were also lovely
L. E.
Amazing little place we may have normally walked past, but so glad we didn't!
We had a young Spanish lad who looked after us and allowed us to taste the house schooner before ordering. The food was sensational with the original brisket burger melting away in your mouth.
The only semi-negative, which seeing as I work in hospitality is abit counter-intuitive is the 12.5% tip that's automatically added to the bill.
This is not to say that today the staff didn't deserve a tip...
...but 2 things;
Firstly 12.5%? Who uses 12.5?!
Secondly, if the service is between adequate and excellent I'll tip sufficiently anyway, but adding an inflated tip rate for every table is presumtious and unbecoming of a venue that myself and my friends could not get enough of!
Other than the tips niggle..
.. absolutely love this place!!
M. D.
Great vibe, and feel to the place. We were in a large party and most of the food was fantastic.
I had the Mac daddy burger and it tasted really burnt So never finished it.
Everything else was very good though.
Would be five stars if it wasn't so expensive, burger and chips come to nearly £17!!!
Will more than likely visit again
S. E.
The best fried chicken we’ve ever had! Superb drinks and well worth spending lots at. Really fair prices aswell.
N. C.
First visit to Dirty Bone's, followint numerous recommendations from friends. Venue is easily found, however need to walk down narrow stairs to get into the main restaurant. Highly recommend the lamb fries, got a nice kick to it. Waiter was extremely helpful with food and drink recommendations as well.
S. (.
Had a lovely visit, while I waited for the sleeper train to Penzance.
Nice venue, down some stairs so not accessible to all as its in a basement.
Good choice of drinks and cocktails, I had two schooners if the Brooklyn Defender IPA, brought in a good sturdy glass, not a poncy chalice.
To be fair schooners are designed to give you 2/3s if a pint, so while £5 seems reasonable for a beer, you are loosing out in reality, saying that, I knew what I was getting.
Food wise I went for the cheese burger dumplings and a Yankee dog, as it was #LoveLambWeek I had the crispy lamb fries as my side. Food was well presented, prepared quickly and served hot, just they way it should be.
Staff were friendly and attentive, but not in your face.
All in all a great meal.
A. M.
Really great spot. If I wasn’t looking specifically looking for this venue, the entrance might not be too ‘inviting’. But don’t overlook it... it’s truly worth the visit!!
Great service, great products. I couldn’t fault it!
M. B.
Went around 2pm and waited in nice bar area for a table. For London, Kensington, the food was very reasonably priced. I had a Mac Daddy which was really nice and stacked high! Fries and salad not included and service was prompt. The music is a bit loud when trying to have a conversation but overall not bad.
C. M.
Amazing place, very cool venue and outstanding food! Staff where great
J. M.
Interesting decor. Friendly staff. Foods not bad at all. I enjoyed the crispy lamb fries. The fried chicken is super moist.
V. 2.
American style bar with live music. General feeling is good.
Minuses: When we ordered beer it took 20 min to bring it, however venue wasn't busy. Also ordered portion of fries and we were not offered cutlery.
K. C.
Great spot for brunch, good food that isn't oily and quick service with reasonable price! Only thing was that it's downstairs in a basement which can't be helped but means there's no natural light. However, I'll be keen to go again in the evenings!
s. r.
Bottmless brunch was ok (the mains were a bit plain and cheesy were not worth it) the 5 stars is for Betim coz hes just an amazing waiter
R.
The staff were friendly but the service was very slow. Highly recommend the buffalo hot wings and although it sounds strange the cheeseburger dumplings. The fried chicken was not very good, lacked a lot of flavour. Nevertheless, the cocktails were nice and it would be a lovely place for drinks and snacks.
J. U.
A lovely American style place for drinks and food. Brilliant drinks (I loved the wintery take on the mojito) and exemplary comfort food (loved the Mac&cheese and fried chicken). The staff was pleasant and helpful.
Live music on Thursdays, will try to make it there next time when I am in town.
C. A.
The cocktails were absolutely gorgeous, will definitely be visiting when I'm in the area again!
L. L.
Food and Service excellent. Will be back.
F. C.
Amazing experience! We celebrated a birthday and at first they told they couldn't seat us all together (due to covid) despict we asked them before hand and they said yes. After a brief conversation the staff was very apologetic and solved the problem changing us to a different part of the restaurant, it was great!
The food is very good! Good prices as well! Same for the cocktails, everything we tried was very tasty! Highly recommended!
N. G.
A great American/English address in Kensington. It’s a cozy part of Brooklyn in central London.
We met with friends from the US in this place. Lovely welcoming and food was super good! Special mention to the chicken and waffle that was as good as in our memories back in North Carolina, USA.
Thank you for this great evening.
We’ll be back again after trying the Shoreditch location.
R.
Dark yet vibrant ambience, cool decor. Super tasty food with an amazing cocktail list, even a DJ on friday nights.. my new favorite local, see you in the basement...enjoy ;-)
A. R.
One of the best burgers I ever had. Went for the Mac daddy and was a lovely combo of smoked brisket and steak patty's topped with Mac and cheese! Can't ask for anything more tbh.
Fairly priced for a central London and the vibe is very authentic being lower in the ground making it feel NYC and the music works well. Didn't go for any cocktails but they did seem very good so worth to check them out if that's your thing.
Cant really say anything bad from my visit and will be excited to come back .
M. W.
The atmosphere was inviting and cosy. The staff friendly and very helpful. I had the chicken and waffles. They were super tasty! They also have root beer! Great meal!
S. S.
The stairway down looked dingy coming in from the bright light and as there was no light above the actual door below, very difficult to see it.
However, once inside, interesting decor was the first impression followed swiftly by friendly and efficient staff.
We ordered the roasted Cauliflower to start which was A-MAY-ZING (as Craig would say). The cauliflower was cooked brilliantly and the curry sauce included...sublime.
Wife ordered Beetroot cured Salmon on Crumpets with poached eggs and Hollandaise Sauce. It was phenomenal. The eggs were poached to perfection and the overall taste and presentation was incredible.
My Veggie burger dish was good without being outstanding. I would have preferred more flavour or, even better, a side sauce but that is a personal preference. My main issue was the patty crumbled too much however, in fairness, it was a veggie patty. However, well filled with avocado.
We will definitely return to try out other items on the menu. Looking forward to the sides and desserts although would give the veggie burger a miss and try out the fish tacos.
Price wise, not cheap but reasonable value. The serving staff were friendly and visible without hovering and the tip was included in the bill so check you don't tip again.
C. G.
Found this little hidden gem on the drink app. Awesome decor and very welcoming staff. The slave to the citrus cocktail is so refreshing and served perfectly from the bartender who was also very welcoming.
D. W.
Love this quirky dive bar. Enjoy talking with the server and locals. Hip music and very comfortable lounge.
B. N.
Really nice restaurant, don't let the looks fool you, the food and the cocktails were really good.
Y. H.
Well crispy fried chicken was total disappointment for me as it was almost uncooked and soggy. Kale salad was spot on. Buffalo Aubergine was also nice but overall not impressed and it was my last visit.
S. P.
Quite expensive for what it is, but if you go while there is live music Thursday nights then it could be worth it. We paid about 39£ for 2 burgers, 1 side of cheese fries, and 1 milkshake. There are some 5 star restaurants in Soho you can go to for less than that. The vegan burger was shockingly delicious, however the meat version was missing a lot of seasoning. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
J. C.
Played some awesome tunes really did. Great atmosphere. We sat in the restaurant area. Too late to order food but they served us some chips and some cocktails would definitely go again.
G. W.
I was a bit disappointed, the wings were served on the blue cheese sauce. Not with it in a tub as I'd normally expect.
Chicken and waffles were unavailable.
Lamb fries were great though.
D. A.
Service was great. Atmosphere and music were spot on. Chicken wings portions were a bit on the small side, even when we ordered large. Needed a bit more seasoning. My friend had chicken and waffle, they enjoyed that.
K. A.
I have to say, we walked around Notting Hill and Kensington for quite a bit before we stumbled upon this place. We were just looking for a good cocktail. This place exceeded all my expectations, not only providing good service but delicious cocktails. We ordered two drinks that were pretty fruity but definitely not too sweet (which is what were worried about). The drinks were well crafted and the service was great!
L. C.
When I went, there was live music playing and the decorations were adorable. The food was also quite good. Many Thanks for this super service.
L. G.
Great place, cool staff with great service. As it was a Thursday night when we visited there was live music from a cool band. Hidden away it was a great find. Glad we went and would visit again.
K. L.
I haven't eaten there but I love the cocktails. They also have a happy hour offer! Make sure you use it. A quick snick peak of the cocktail I drunk.
Y. B.
The food was great and our waiter, which i believe his name is Shaun was excepcional! Very attentive, professional and kind.
This kind of service make us wanna come back ., and recommend to our friends.
Keep up the good work Shaun!
M. C.
Deputy Dog -cocktail. Nice but too much ice 😅
Cheeseburger Gyoza
Southern fried chicken - so crispy!!
Lamb fries
V. M.
The hamburger gyoza and the crispy lamb chops were absolutely amazing! I also had the Mac daddy burger which tasted very good if a tiny bit dry. Good vibes and good music
J. M.
Great dining experience, highly recommend the cheese and truffle fries!
z.
Meh, the food is pricey for what it is. Cocktails are good though. The food is kinda naff.
D. M.
Not bad grub...forgot about our Big daddy burger when mains came out..was asked by staff if we would like a side dish free of charge...."nice touch" until i noticed they put 12.5% of bill for service charge....NOT GOOD
L. P.
Went there with my friend last week and we FELL IN LOVE! The chicken and waffles is the best combination I have tried in my life. And the chicken is delicious. Staff was friendly and nice. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the music was on point. We will definitely come back!
N. P.
Beautifully cooked meat and had a very good vibe. Was a perfect end to a day out in London. Only wish we had bigger stomachs to eat more
C. A.
Very friendly staff. We got the waffle and chicken, and the cheesy truffle fries - a perfect comfort food meal.
B.
Amazing place. I had a massive burger with mac and cheese and the Mrs had chicken and waffles with fries. We both had a desert. The cinnamon doughnut was awesome. I'd go back just for that! Lovely, friendly service. I really found no faults. Can't wait to go back and soon hopefully!
N. M.
Fairly priced.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Decent selection of food and drinks which was delicious and plentiful.
Would definitely recommend!
S. F.
Great food. Seated quickly without a reservation, friendly staff.
J. S.
good food but service was slow. was very understaffed that day
S. L.
Really great experience, friendly staff, super helpful. Worth going, but remember to book as it can get busy.
O. O.
Great Cocktail, Excellent customer service happy hour menu could be more but can't complain great small atmosphere..I love it.
A. M.
Love the vibe and music! Classic Burger is my fav! Will be definitely coming back!
N. A.
Music was very loud, unable to have a conversation without shouting. Cool urban look & deco, was a nice atmosphere. Portion size is rather small, but what you get is tasty! Meat had a lot of nerves (flat iron steak). Fried chicken was very juicy and crispy. However when you order a main, it's not a lot to fill you up so a side dish is necessary. Sides are a bit pricey so your total can rack up quick. Nevertheless had a good time and I really enjoyed my food.
F. O.
Chicken wings are super good
Spicy chicken bun 👍🏻
Classic beef burger average
A. D. O.
Great drinks, great food, and good pricing ! Small but efficient for sure
D. F.
No draught beer available at 7.30 in the evening. Hurried service implied more interested in turning tables than ambience
C. L.
Great food, and the booze kept coming. Special shout out to Airidas for keeping our drinks topped up.
D. O.
Nice food and service was fine. Particularly enjoyed the buffalo aubergine. Our cocktails were forgotten until we reminded the waitress, but when they did finally arrive they were very enjoyable. There was also what looked like a nice bar area and I would probably come back here for a drink if nearby.
It really is loud though. Music played at a high volume from a big soundsystem, and lots of bare surfaces for bouncy acoustics. After shouting at each other over a few snacks and then a main course we decided to eschew dessert and find somewhere with an atmosphere a bit more conducive to conversation. I guess it means that the tables turn round quickly, but for me it''s not a particularly pleasant vibe for a sit down meal. Maybe I'm getting old?
P. D.
Amazing place, friendly staff and mind blowing food!! Cannot fault Dirty Bones. Will be returning on our next visit to London.
M. I.
Amazing day out for brunch with a huge group of us to celebrate a birthday of our close friend.
From the start our host (Airidas) was on our case telling us how it works, the rules, food etc.
It was an amazing experience from start to finish and I don’t believe how some of the people have left bad reviews.
In my honest opinion the service and food was outstanding and our host blew us away.
If you want a boozy brunch and you’re in the area - a must visit.
B. J.
The food was all cooked to perfection but I wasn't spoiled for choice on the menu so won't be rushing back to eat. I was very impressed by the selection of cocktails and all made to a very high standard so would definitely go back for a drink or two.
A. v. P.
I planned my birthday party in the private room here and I was very impressed with the service. The room was lovely with its own bar and own sound system. We had 26 seated guests and the group menu was very reasonably priced and delicious. Everyone commented on how good the food was the next day. The cocktails were really well done. No one wanted to leave at closing. Communication with the events manager Vanessa was seemless. She was very friendly and so were the staff on the night who bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. They managed to keep my husband happy which is quite a feat in itself. All in all if you want a relaxed sit down meal with friends in a private room I would recommend this place. However at 26 people we were very much the upper limit of what could be accommodated and they say it can sit 30. My personal opinion is that above 25 it really starts to get cramped.
J. M.
Good service. Cocktails were great during happy hour. Nice atmosphere (lighting/ music etc.) Unfortunately the food was a let down- large portions but lacking in flavour. Would go again but only for happy hour.
C.
Went to bar Saturday 11th Jan. The DJ was fantastic played music for all genres and everyone seemed to enjoy the music. Staff were good and some of party had food which they said was good. The only minus hence 4 stars was a service charge of £7 on 2 cocktail drinks £9 each which I declined to pay.
J. L.
Came here with a friend after bowling and really liked this place. Didn't have a reservation but there were plenty of tabels, the waitress was really friendly. Neither of us were massively hungry so we both had the chicken and waffles and split a side of Mac and cheese and truffle fries,we couldn't finish as the portions were very decent.
The cocktails were great and the lighting and music made it a great place to hang out, not so loud that you couldn't talk but enough to get an atmosphere.
The only downside was we waited close to 30 minutes for our food after ordering and the sides came out about 5 minutes before the food. I don't think this is the norm there as the waitress offered us a drink each on the house even though we hadn't complained, this more than made up for it.
Very reasonably priced for the area , two drinks , two sides and two mains plus service charge came in at £65.
Will definitely be going back when I am more hungry to try some of the other food or attempt to finish what I ordered last time. Big thumbs up from me. 👍
M. H.
Amazing! Incredible service from Sylvia, cannot thank her enough. We were a table of 12 and she was super efficient and friendly. Thank you!
M. J.
Over hyped, but the staff were friendly and professional and the place has a good vibe!
I’ve heard a lot about this place and went with a group of friends, maybe my expectations were just to high but considering so many thing the food here is so amazing I was expecting something special. Sadly I feel the food was just average, and little over priced for what you got (even if your are in the middle of South Kensington).
There are definitely better chicken places in London, it may be worth a go... but don’t believing all the hype!
G. L.
The food was amazing! I had the Mac Daddy burger (great name btw). Mac and Cheese inside a burger. First time I tried something like this. I was not disappointed!
All burgers are in the 9-13£ range if i'm not mistaken.
D. T.
1. Pints were actually 'schooners', which is like describing a motorbike as a car. They are similar in that they both have wheels and are used to get from a to b, but one is smaller than the other.
2. Ribs were very very very dry.
3. Wings were brilliant. I would quite happily eat them and nothing else.
4. Service was bright and smiley and nice.
5. Room is quite fun in a kind of basement kind of way.
6. My companion liked her cocktail.
So probably 3.5 but there isn't an option for that.
O. I.
The food was good and the portions were mostly very large, however the lobster mac and cheese was disappointing on that front as it was more of a side than a main. The service was efficient but not very personal - we had different people serving the food and then the staff seemed to disappear except to come around once in a while to take drink orders. The venue was nice although small and the seating was comfortable. The music playlist was a little strange as one track would be hip hop and then the next track a completely different genre. The main thing is that the venue and the food were both nice so overall it's a nice place to go out for dinner with your friends, just don't order the lobster mac and cheese as it's more of a kids portion. In terms of value for money, it is a little on the pricey side but okay.
J. L.
We had a really great night out. Food, cocktails, atmosphere, and music were all great. Our waitress was excellent. She was friendly without being pushy and showed up exactly when we needed her. I don’t think I’ve had better service at a casual dining restaurant. We will definitely be back.
A. A.
This has become a staple for my and my friends. The food is amazing, the vibe is loud and comfortable and the service is good.
You must try the lamb fries, it’s something I recommend to anyone who visits dirt bones. Service can be slow at times depending on how busy the staff/ restaurant are but it’s worth the wait.
By no means is it a cheap meal but you’re paying for the quality of the food and I would recommend a visit here.

Good vibes, food was really good a shame I aint got a pic but will def be back again 💯🙌🏾
C.
The food is good but the portions are very small for the price even by London standards. I find it hard to justify as extras such as more bluengheese for wings (which you need if you like your wings like I do and the base portion is tiny) can run up your bill quite easily. Cant knock the food itself though
H. D.
Awesome service from the girl with the dreads!
Ordered the Moving Mountains Burger (Vegan). It was delicious. The future of food is being cooked at Dirty Bones!
Burger took a little while longer to prepare than usual, but the host kept us entertained with excellent service.
The burger itself was absolutely delicious. For the vegans out there wondering if it's worth the pilgrimage; it is. If you'v tried the No Bull Burger or the Beyond Burger, you're on the right track, but this burger way surpasses them. Charred on the outside, and with a very meaty taste on the inside, in a delicious bun... Couldn't have been more impressed. The drinks were delicious, too :)
L. W.
What a great place - bottomless brunch is a must...They do not skimp on your cocktails!!! Great service, great food, fantastic people x
G. E.
The brunch on Sunday has a nice mix of American brunch good with an interesting twist. Cocktails are delicious and service is attentive. Our server informed us in the middle of service that the main dish would take longer than expected. I chose another dish which came out quickly. At the end of the meal, we were both given a free dish for the next time we come in. Very clever.
R. C.
Very nice, dimly lit underground comfort food joint (music was really good also). Came in with my partner on a Friday evening for some light bites and the starters were delicious. Our waitress Natasha was v.attentive and super friendly! Will definitely be coming back.
(PS the spiced rum with ginger beer is a creeper but goes down smoothly).
M. H.
Great idea for brunch! Their bottomless drinks deal is really worth it :).
J. A.
Truffle fries were amazing. Wouldn't recommend the hot dog.
D. C.
Food was amazing, service was slightly slow but overall had a great time!
R. G.
Super cool place. Bartenders we're all really nice, and they took our orders quickly when we were done. We were there during happy hour, meaning £5 cocktails (which were amazing), the bar was surprisingly quiet, it seemed we were in a room (one of 3 I believe) that could be rented out, a 30 birthday party arrived to reserved tables. All their drinks were well priced for central around £5.50/6 for beer. The music was good, I could tell that tbis place turns into a night club or alike (DJ decks on a pinball machine)
I. C.
6 of us went for my birthday meal and we all had the best experience. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very attentive. I was completely spoiled with both a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a dessert (with candles)! The food was piping hot, excellent quality and absolutely delicious. The drinks menu was extensive and equally as delicious! The venue was warm and clean and the decor was stylish and hip! Prices are fair and affordable. I'd go straight back without a 2nd thought and recommend everyone give it a try! Thanks to everyone at Dirty Bones, Kensington :) you made my day!
L. S.
Great service, had my birthday over there last weekend and they manage everything to make us have a very good time.
R.
I have had so many great meals here. The cocktails are so good and pretty strong. The food is amazing and probably some of the best diner style food you can get in this part of London. The service is friendly and on point. Man, just writing about this place is making me wish I was eating there right now.
S.
Mood lighting. Good food. Filling portions.
B. H.
Had such a good time, went for late drinks. The DJ and music were great and rhe atmosphere was extremely fun and positive, helped especially by the staff who all clearly have a great time working there. The bartenders and their inventive and excellent cocktails were great, and the beers. The decor screams New York basement bar, which is the vibe. We've all pencilled it in as our local go-to now.
F. F.
I went for their first birthday and it was fabulous! Really chilled vibe, lovely staff and the food was amazing. I had the rib to start, which was delicious, and chicken wings with mac'n'cheese and fries for my main. Loved it. The cocktails are good too, my friends all really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back! Great for weekend cocktails and a fun dinner. The room is a funky underground den, feels very cool, and they play good music too- while we were there they had a live band on for the evening too.
Would recommend for cocktails and dinner, quite a cool place to impress your friends with.
F. V.
Really nice food and service. Good vibe and good sounds
A.
Excellent food. Had the spicy chicken burger and the cheesy truffle fries. Burger was excellent and the sauce inside really works with the chicken. The cheesy truffle fries took me off guard but we're quite pleasant. Good service and not overly expensive food. Great place for lunch or dinner. Best to book in advance as we almost didn't get a seat.
G. M.
Food was great. Especially the lamb fries which I could eat all day! Also had the Classic burger and mac&cheese. Really good comfort food.
Andre our waiter was really entertaining and helpful. The lamb fries and burger dumping he recommended were a great hit at our table, thanks mate :) Oh and for letting us know a Dirty Bones has opened in Oxford :o Will definitely check it out.
I liked the atmosphere too. Cosy basement but not claustrophobic. Busy but not overcrowded.
M. W.
It's alright.
Food is high quality, but small portions. Also, wasn't as hot as it should have been when brought out. Draught beer was slightly flat.
Bar area has a decent ambience, but was unnecessarily cold due to the air con blasting away, despite it being a rainy evening in October. People were leaving because of it.
S. A.
Good food, nice cocktails, able to talk to people without shouting too loudly. Not many healthier options but that isn't why you would come here. Very packed on a Saturday night but even after they needed our table they moved us to the bar.
R. F.
The food and cocktails were really great, and we would definitely recommend anything in their buffalo sauce. The only downside was right at 9.30 their live d.j set started, we were right by a speaker and it was deafening. We actually had to leave and go to a pub round the corner so we could hear each other speak. You might be fine if you were sat elsewhere, but we were in the worse spot. It made us feel really old, but it was genuinely too loud for us!
L. D.
Lovely staff! The food is all okay. It has so much potential on the menu, but fails to hit the mark. Either to bland or too sweet. The Mutts Nuts cocktail is a decent whiskey sour, but again is too sweet - needs a bigger pinch of liquor. Good effotlrt, though.
A. W.
An excellent meal and top service. Neither of us had been to DB before and loved it, especially the hot wings and cocktails (Highly recommend the Littlest Hobo). They do an unusual mix of flavours in their meals (i had the Mac Daddy - Double steak burger with pulled beef short rib, mac & cheese and espresso-spiked BBQ sauce) so this is a great place if you're looking for something a little different, plus a very cool and relaxed atmosphere. Will be looking to go again soon.
L. d. B.
Great food for a decent price. Do try the poke bowls, very nice!
C. M.
This is such a cozy and relaxing place. We were lucky to catch the happy hour and had pretty good cocktails.
B. v. B.
Cocktails are great even if menu could be better organised by type/tasting notes, it was hard to choose but recommend “Mutt’s Nuts”. Had beef short ribs which were soft and perfectly red on the inside. Desert menu was pretty limited. Would definitely return though not as a “table for one”..
J. H.
I went here first because i had a friend working there. I went back a second, third and fourth time because it was simply excellent. The food is amazing, and the cocktails taste brilliant. The Music creates this electric atmosphere that keeps you inspired to have fun.
Would definitely recommend.
D. C.
Food was great. Genuinely one of the best vegan burgers I’ve eaten but be warned they seemed to be a bit confused after 9 on a Saturday where they play music like you’re in a club only it’s a restaurant not a club. Which is terrible as there’s one speaker for the entire space which is just ridiculous. Ended up just leaving as we could not hear each other like a club but again it’s a RESTAURANT.
R. F.
AMAZING food, shame about the poor quality of dessert. The staff were kind and treated you like family, really impressed!
A. E.
Food tasted good though only after it was sent back as it was cold........
D. N.
Unimpressive doorway entrance and unappealing name does not bode well. But once downstairs in the gloomy restaurant it's really quite good. Fairly quiet when we visited midweek. Pleasant service, reasonable range of unfamiliar beers etc.Menu of burgers, hotdogs, ribs etc with sides. Food was very good, portions about right, quickly served, and nicely made. About £25 a head for drinks and mains. Not at all bad.
R. L.
The food and vibe were really good. I love Frank’s Buffalo sauce and my tacos were great.
However next time I come I’ll book a table for an earlier time as the DJ turned the music up so loud I couldn’t hear anyone at our table.
The speaker was right next to where we were sat and we had to leave and go to the pub round the corner to hear each other.
G. L.
Little bit pricey but worth it. Vegan burger was great, and the Mac Daddy was rated well too. Spiked Iced Coffee is worth trying too! Hard to find - the resteraunt itself is downstairs.
A. O.
Really good food, the crispy lamb fries were amazing.
E.
Delicious wings, friendly staff, the restaurant is underground, you need to go down a flight of stairs to get to it, but once you're there, this cozy place will wow you with its food. The people who worked there were all lovely and friendly, quick with a smile, would love to be back when we get the chance
A. O.
Yum! I love the food on the menu! Great vibe and setting.
The staff are friendly and attentive, you can't ask for much more.
Plus they had a DJ playing on the night @imalphabeats she was amazing !
M. G. S.
An amazing evening, kind staff and we suggest you to taste the crispy lamb, a triumph of tastes!! We arrived after 10 p.m. and they let us eat despite the kitchen was closing.. Very nice environment and cool music, if you are in Kensington you definitely must try this place!
A.
Superb. Easily some of the capital's best hotdogs alongside superb sides and a stellar cocktail/beer list.
The private room is somewhat a revelation, incredible value for money for a group between 12-20 (plus you get your own barman and can plug in your music or just tune into the DJ). The staff are cheery and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Have been a good half dozen times now and the standard never drops both in terms of food and service. Go!
E. S.
Love the decor! An awesome quirky bar and resto. Great food and cocktails. Will defo be back!
L. A.
The best thing about this restaurant was the ambiance and the service was excellent. The main downside was the price of the drinks for the size that you get. We ordered the summer spritz but it was mostly ice. The food was very good, however, not excellent.
M. F.
Amazing food. Bit different compared to Oxford branch and the chairs were rather uncomfortable but they did give NHS discount.
T. B.
We went to the Soho restaurant for brunch. I can not speak more highly of the staff. Very friendly, happy people who were very accommodating to any requests we had.
The food was great (who could ever complain about fried chicken and waffles). We also had the bottomless prosecco option which the staff made sure was topped up at all times.
One of the best brunch experiences I've had. Will definitely be coming back and telling others.
Thank you!
M. M.
Food was so good!!!!
Gf had ribs. Which were just to die for.
I had the Mac daddy which was really interesting mac n cheese was really good!!!
However fries don't come with either which is a shame.
'Shadow milkshake was so good!!!!
They played the worldcup matches (England vs Sweden) there and gave out free mini drinks to everyone there at the time.
Service at the start was a bit slow but I think that's because of the game. Staff were lovely.
We were too full for dessert.
Had a cute book to sign in with your experience
J. S.
At the first moment you come to that restaurant they give you an excellent feeling. Very friendly team, it is a nice restaurant to hang out with friends or with your date. enjoyable cuisine, experienced chef, honest cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
S. S. H.
Went to grab some dinner with some friends. It was a really nice night with good music and the food was absolutely wonderful. The pricing is good as well. The highlight of the evening was the service. We were served by Ander, I hope I spell his name right. He has a bit of blue colour in his hair. Such a great young chap. Since it was our first time so he helped us make our choices for the food and boy was he right. This place deserves a sixth star just for this dude!
M. M.
Kitchen surprisingly good : like what you'd get in Austin. Really well seasoned double chicken burger. Cocktails are OK but I get the sense the bar doesn't actually taste what they send out. Dude in the hat has great sense of customer service.
A. S.
I regret not to try Dirty Bones before. Among all central London Ribs and Burgers places I visited, I gave Dirty Bones 10/10 on every thing.
Staff, services and quality of food are amazing.
Ribs and Mac Daddy are extremely distinguishably outstanding. I wish I had a chance to thank the chef too.
A. M.
Good place in London, in basement, good salads and beer. We drank our own vodka but it seems to me that they charged us service fee 15% for that. It is a shame!
But the waitresses was quite a professional
A. V.
Decent food at very fair prices, best part was how amazingly welcoming and friendly the staff were! Very accommodating of our requests as well. Would go again
M. H.
"Dirty" food never tasted this good. From original spicy cocktails (the dirty Mary is my fave) mixed and served by charming bartenders to the hot padron peppers and juicy flat iron steak to the lick-the-glass peanutbutter dessert it's hard to say what's the best part of this funky place. He staff is very attentive, entertaining and NICE. Go here for an awesome night out (there's usually quite a pretty crowd), enjoy great food and slick beats (yep there's also a DJ..) and you won't be disappointed.
A. D.
Food was delicious, American classics well cooked (DO TRY the cheeseburger dumplings, lamb fries and the chicken&waffles) Place has an atmosphere and staff is super efficient and friendly. Thanks Andre for the food & cocktail recommendations and the 5 star table service.
c. l.
Delicious food, great fried chicken. Macaroni cheese was great although serving size a little small. Coincidentally, we visited on a Thursday night with live music so that was a nice surprise!
D.
Food is Ok, American style if you fancy. The place is small but very cozy, music is very nice and the staff are fantastic. We had a great time over there, I fully recommend it
D. B.
Great food and fast service. Would recommend!
S. K.
We booked over the phone and we were a bit nervous when we entered as the outside doesn't really look like a restaurant. However, what a surprise
Brilliant staff, lovely cocktails and very very good food. Highly recommended
J. J.
Great little space hidden underground. The staff were cool but polite and conscientious. Food was brilliant. Super tasty and well made. Interiors were rustic yet fun and the music was pumped and on point.
R. T.
Amazing place! Great food! ( Mac Daddy is the Daddy of all burgers!) Great sides! Great atmosphere(music was really good!) Such a friendly staff! Ana served us and made us so happy! Definitely going rhere again and taking more friends with us!
R. S.
Cool underground restaurant serving gourmet comfort food. Came for the burger with Mac n cheese. I wasn't overwhelmed but my wife loved it. Fried chicken wasn't amazing either. Portion was a bit on the meagre side. Service was OK.
T. H.
Went for brunch last Sunday, and we had a pleasant time. Worth what you pay for on the food. However, coffee was a little abysmal - it tasted like instant coffee, and it was just a black Americano. Overall, good experience.
M. H.
small birthday drinks/eats for 3 guys, on a Friday night, loved it! Good fun, cool beats, amazing food + cocktails, good service, seems they have sorted out what appears to have been early teething troubles. I'd go again happily, try the smoked smoked starter dish!
H. J.
Came for a friend's birthday, had the spicy chicken burger which was absolutely amazing, especially at the price it was. Drinks a bit expensive but for the area it's in not bad at all, lovely atmosphere, staff and food so im more than happy and will come again.
N. L.
Funky basement based restaurant really good food a little warm due to being underground but cool vibe and very tasty dinner and drink!
Y. A.
This place is truly a hidden gem in west London! It’s abolsulty fantastic! Absolutely love the chicken burger and chicken taco, would Defo recommend the padron peppers as well to start. It’s true magic shows on the weekend when they have a dj on till late night. Also service is 10/10 👍🏽
P. L.
Portions were a bit small and baby back ribs weren't up to standards, service also poor.
M. H.
A fantastic and cosy place for New York style comfort food. I recommend the Chicken and Waffles as a main course as they fry the chicken perfectly. They also serve great cocktails at reasonable London prices.
K. R.
These guys made my night out! We had an awesome meal, cheesy truffle fries are amazing! I've literally dreamt about them every night since. It was my friends birthday and they made a big fuss for her and made sure we were looked after! I'll see you guys at New Years
A. Y. l. ع. ي.
Yummy food, I recommended of you 👌🏻
T. E.
Great service, great burgers, fantastic chicken and the best mac and cheese! Prices of beer could be lowered a little though. Highly recommended this place.
Z. Z.
Worth going for the truffle oil cheese fries. Burger was a bit disappointing. Great deal for bottomless bruch if it’s your kind of thing. In lunch hour you might need to wait a bit for a table, but again, those fries are to die for
S. O.
Amazing food, atmosphere, service.
Had a brilliant evening.
Highly recommend
S. G.
I've been here a few times now. Once for a work party (excellent choice, private space and great service) and just for cocktails. Food is ok. They Mac and cheese balls are so many levels of amazing. But I mainly go for the cocktails. Have one (or three) of the Mutt's Nutts. You WON'T regret it.
J. S.
This place is excellent. It is below ground and has a slightly gritty vibe but don't let that fool you, this is a wonderful gem of a place. The food is lovely, i mean really lovely, that staff great, the ambiance superb. A little gem of a place.
a. a.
Excellent service. The Laylow cocktail is so on point
m. m. a. m. f.
Nice atmosphere, the cocktails were ok. They have good social distancing measures and they do keep your details unlikely others that do not.
R. A.
Got taken to this lovely little venue one friday evening for some dinner and drinks..
Absolutely blown away by the friendly relaxed atmosphere. Delighted with the food tried lots of different things on the menu.. And oh the cocktails.. To die for... Delicious... We will definitely be back! Thanks
R. R.
Good food. Good drinks. Good music. Cool environment.
L. D.
Tucked under a fashionably illuminated stairs, Dirty Bones gives a sort of Shoreditch-feel rather than heavily clean-eating promoted Kensington feel.
So here I was, going downstairs with no hesitation. I saw the menu at the door so I knew there were ribs on the menu anyway.
Inside deco was what I was expected by looking at the menu - sort of modern American diners style, with mix'n match furnishing. Nice & cool, but cosy & comfy too.
Friendly and welcoming staff confirmed me that my order of ribs is also something she likes to have. So with assuring confidence, I ordered the ribs, with some side dishes and ginger beer to accompany with.
Delicious looking ribs arrived shortly after, almost coming out from the plate as it was that big. Tender, moist & soft meat, don't need knife to eat. But the most of all, the sauce! It said something like "miso & pomegranate" on the menu - what a combination! I have never tasted such delicious ribs; just thinking about it makes my mouth watering & wanna go back there again.
L. J.
Old school NYC comfort food and cocktails. Its nice to see a place actually do what they say they would do.
My go-to when I'm having a bad day or a meeting with an old friend.
G. R.
Great chain of american style dinner/restaurant. The cocktails, food and environment are all worth while going!! Would recommend to everyone to at least try once (especially the crispy lamb fries!)
C. S.
Such a great experience! Dirty bones in Kensington was a suggestion from our London colleague, and we were not disappointed! We were a rowdy group of 14 in a business trip and received top notch service from all staff. Food was hardy and delicious, and drinks wete diverse and not overdone. Our waiter, Ander, was a rockstar on keeping ontop of communication on food delivery, drinks and keeping everyone happy. He was fantastic in his drink recommendations, with many of us relying on him to tell us what we should get. Kudos to all staff for a fantastic experience. Will be by again for sure next time we are in London :)
C. R.
Great vibe and very tasty food.
Steak was very small and a lack of bone marrow sauce meant the dish was quite dry.
Apart from that, it was a decent experience.
J.
Boutique hot dog & 'bones' joint in-line with the current trend for US-style fast / comfort food. Nice décor & attentive staff make for a good first impression. However the menu is rather limited (with notable omissions like a bacon-wrapped dog!) & our mac'n'cheese was tepid when it arrived. Price-wise it's not bad for the area, but could be so much better with just a few small changes.
L. K.
Tacos were a 😥 and they underestimated how busy they would be on a Bank Holiday but were very polite and made it up to us. It's worth going for the crispy lamb fries and Mac Daddy Burger.
C. A.
Food was great, was there for a work event and we had sharing plates. Plenty of food and super tasty. Drinks were good too, definitely recommend!
k. -. S.
One of the best burgers iv ever had, Mac Daddy all the way!
H. M.
An amazing experience that must be tried - I can highly recommend the chicken and waffles! The cocktails are also not to be missed!
S. F.
Came here with my family after a long day in london, and it probably saved me from a nervous breakdown. By the way the food is amazing, the people are lovely and friendly, and great music, definitely one of the best restaurants of the area
L. G.
I loved the place, the environment, the food... the waiter Filipe Mantas was amazing, really good advice at the time of choosing food. Definitely, one of the best places for eat in Kensington 😊
A.
Never disappoints. This is my go to place for weekend brunches, great food, top drinks, awesome tunes and really friendly staff. Shout out to Ander for the great service on Good Friday.
P. R.
This place is amazing. We ordered the beef tacos, the Mac Daddy and the Brussel sprouts. Everthing high quality with rich flavours. A must come back!!!
V. D.
The staff, the food were superb
L.
Service was a little slow (maybe we had a large group) however, selection of food was great. Some table areas were too dark.
J. W.
Good service, good food, good music. The only let down was the fact that the cheese fries had the most minuscule amount of cheese on them.
C. A.
Went for late night snacks and some cocktails last Saturday night and wasn’t disappointed. A must try is their cheeseburger dumplings and chicken wings. Service was great and will return
j. w.
Bar and restaurant with great food, delicious cocktails, with a secret underground feel that takes you away from the hustle and bustle.
J. M.
American diner vibe, fast service, friendly staff! Small variety of veggie options (Buffalo Aubergine was insanely good). Also a vegan burger option.
K. K.
We were served by Airidas, and we both really enjoyed the service. Good food served and also good cocktails recommended by Airidas!! Thanks for good recommendations on cocktails!! Great service!!
S.
Another great night at Dirty Bones!
Grabbed a late burger and chilli fries, washed down with Mutz Nutz, the best cocktail ever. DJ played some of the best cool disco grooves going, a rare find. Well done!
J. m.
Really great upbeat atmosphere, nice warm NYC inspired soul food served alongside an interesting cocktail menu. Highly recommend for a fun meal out.
P. K.
Nice food, but being vegetarian there was very limited choice. I enjoy the music for sure.
N. K.
We visited this place for our anniversary. Good location and ambience. Food can be better, found the menu underwhelming. The staff will make your day.
Z.
I ordered the steak with the banana milk shake it was really delightful that I ordered two milk shakes.
The banana milk shake reminds me of the milk shake that my sister used to make for me as a child.
Would recommend!
S. B.
I loved it! Especially how it's build like a speak easy. We had chicken and waffles and it was delicious!
See you next time!
T. B.
Food was absolutely banging, but we waited aaaaaaaaages. Extremely slow service.
J. Č.
It’s a nice place to go for dinner and live music. But beers overpriced and no draught beer pints available. Burger was bit too dry, but chips and mac and cheese were tasty.
G. Y.
Fantastic service, fantastic food. If you like food, you will like this place. If you don’t like this place, reassess your taste buds
G. J.
Loved the crispy chicken! Great place to hang out for a drink, loud music and a love band which I have to say was awesome too. A great experience for me
E. B.
Cocktails are lush. Music good. Staff friendly. A wonderful, underground escape in a part of London with lots to do.
D. C.
Beef ribs were delicious. Chicken and waffle quite small portion, only half portion of waffle
F. i.
Funny customers, funny servers.
Chilled vibe.
Really dirty lamb, like Christina aguilera x-tina durty!
Mac and cheese 3/5.
Good for groups after work.
Prices average and worth the food.
B. L.
How dirty can a bone get? At The Dirty Bone in Kensington I got a very dirty burger. 2 out of 3 people agree, we've never had a dirtier meal and enjoyed it so much. 4 out of 5 stars.
A. R.
Great food, friendly staff and amazing decor and atmosphere. Could only imagine how much fun this place would be without social distancing.
A. M.
A very averagr affair. Average and expensive wings. Average burger. You can get this type of food but better in other places. Service is clumsy. Would probably not come back.
R. C.
This was a very great meal indeed. We have really nice cocktails and the meal and service was outstanding! A real 5 star place!
A. B.
My husband and I were looking for a fun bar to stop in and have a drink when we found this gem. It was already late so we didn’t eat, but the drink service and music were on point.
J. M.
Bottomless brunch tasty, portion sizes were a bit small. 5 stars if I had got a whole waffle.
I. K.
Food is not bad, and music is great
O. V.
Great atmosphere, live music was great and not too loud so you can have a conversation with your table. Food was awesome and drinks were great
J. P.
Really good quality food; really friendly and efficient service; great atmosphere for a lively evening. Best high street restaurant I have been to in a long time with really good staff!
S. J.
Amazing brunch, rustic and friendly environment. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Brunch cocktails could have been better.
K. B.
AMAZING food!! The lamb fries are to die for super delicious! Fab cocktails for happy hour you won't be disappointed
J.
I'm surprised at the bad recent reviews.
Nice atmosphere, the maitre D was very nice.
Food was good, very reasonable pricing.
If your expecting fat duck then don't.
N. S.
Friendly staff, good decorations, the Mac daddy was good albeit the burger patties could have been of better quality, finally, the coffee was surprisingly good (specially considering the sub par quality of the coffee in London).
D. W.
Stumbled on this place by chance when looking for a place to have lunch. Good service and with one of the best selections of drinks, milkshakes, burgers and chips I’ve had in ages.
J. E.
First time myself & friends went was amazing, but 2nd time wasnt good, 3 things on menu wasnt available,so we complained,we really didn't enjoy food at all,but somehow they found food we asked for,and to be honest out of 5 of us 3 ended up with bad belly the next day🙈all day wouldnt recommend tbh 😡
T. G. B.
Yes, yes yes yes! Supposed I should be stoked to find this place in the last night and not miss out completely. Had I know it was here, would have made myself a regular...like nightly...for the duration of my trip. From the moment you walk off the street and down the steps DB is nothing but killer style and deliciousness!!
R. K.
Nice cocktails and atmosphere. Friendly staff. There was a dj when we were there. Nice music.
Definitely a place worth to check out!
R. C. L. (.
The food was good, so were the drinks. We waited a bit too long for some beer, but that's fine ;)
M. C.
A bit cold and impersonal. Cocktails were ok though
L. D.
Food wasn't too bad but the main let down. But the main plus is the £5 cocktails after 5pm. Good music and friendly staff otherwise.
M. A.
Really good food and drinks. Will definitely go again
N. E.
Really tasty food. Our waiter was FABULOUS as well. Airdis (think thats how you spell his name) he's a keeper
K.
Came here for brunch and it did not disappoint. My burger was greasy goodness, and we left this place with a newfound conviction that all brunch dishes should have fried egg on them.
S. G.
Good stuff, we had the bottomless brunch, good food and they were not slow with the drinks. Worth another visit.
C. B.
Food was good, great flavors, but I have had better burgers, restaurant itself is amazing and staff are perfect too!
m. m.
Lovely little restaurant, quick service and food was delicious
J. W.
The guys there were amazing and fun! Food was good and yes to the cocktails. We went for bottomless brunch
S. D.
Blew my expectations away. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff couldn't be nicer. Great spot, keep up the good work.
G. S.
The food is good, friendly staff. Just a shame the air conditioning wasn't working when we went as it was hot and stuffy in their secret room!!
N. S.
The venue is pretty cool, dim lighting and stylish. Enjoyed a steak burger, price is standard for Kensington
c. 8.
Tasty reasonable price 😋 👌
R. S.
Great burger and American food place. And you can get a proper cocktail too.
R. E.
Amazing atmosphere, cocktails and food! Would definitely recommend this place to eat and drink at!
M. I.
It's a hidden gem. Cool staff and nice food n drinks.
R. (.
Great food, helpful and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my visit and the Mac Daddy burger was delicious! 👌
D. C.
Good food great Atmosphere. The mac'n'cheese deep fried balls where amazing. I would definitely recommend.
V.
Very dark ambience great food
I. N.
Fantastic atmosphere. I love the food and service. If you love old school hip hop, go visit!
R. G.
Good atmosphere, good food. The cocktails are overpriced though, you get a tiny cup that barely tastes strong for 8£.

Cool branch place - unexpectedly good filter coffee (and bottomless) while chicken waffles were pretty good - (some watermelon included in that plate would be great to bring it all together)

Great vibes here, the place is underground and its very chilled, the kind of place you can spend the entire night getting stuffed on the grub and then enjoy some cracking cocktails ! thoroughly recommended !
