Reviews of Five Guys King's Cross
A.
Second five guys I've had recently following a positive experience in the Fulham branch. Seems that five guys are winning me over!
Good juicy burger, Cajun fries, and bottomless Dr pepper, all made quickly and very delicious. The staff were very friendly too.
Just a stone's throw from Kings Cross Station/St Pancreas International so good for a bite while you wait for your train.
Prices are a bit more expensive than other fast food burger chains, but I'm starting to think it's worth it!
J. K.
No nonsense/frills. First visit burger and fries were delicious. The burgers are made from fresh minced meat, with a choice of 15 toppings to choose from.Would definitely go again and highly recommend 😋
R. O. R. F.
The staff was friendly and quick, the restaurant was clean and the sauces were properly topped up, one of the drink machines wasn't working and am not sure if they no longer offer peanuts while waiting, but overall a really good branch for this lively burgers
E. (.
Five guys..do I even need to say more? The menu is simple and offer burgers, hotdog and milkshakes. Great topping selection all included in the price of the burger. Fries are nicely fried and never soggy, the cajun version adds a kick which is also nice. I love this branch in particular because of the spectacular view it offers, overlooking kings cross station.
Also if you are feeling adventurous, try their bacon milkshake.
P. B.
Great food! However, I do wish there were more veggie options. The customer service could have been a bit better since they did seem a little dismissive. But otherwise, a good experience.
G. R.
So good!! We got SO much fries and the burger was delish
A. K.
Amazing burgers, try the spicy fries too. Not cheap, but then these are first class burgers!
P. B. R.
If you want to eat fast food in a good way and really quick, you have to go there. Five guys is definitely the best chain of fast food in England. The service is fast and the milkshakes are the principal reason why we go there. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean
F. M.
Excellent quality food. Staff members were all very kind, and helpful, jack was especially notable. Thank you very much, will be returning again, when in London, and in need of a very delicious burger.
S. N.
Very tasty food here! I was on holiday in London, totally satisfied to have chosen Five Guys.
The quality of food is incredible, it's hard to find something good with such a low price!! Once you buy food, drink is free.
I suggest you to take fries, they're great.
People working there are nice, kind and always helpful.
L. D.
Great food and very clean.
Milkshakes are brilliant. Salted caramel and peanut butter is the one for me!
Very pricey for what you get, but I suppose a cheaper option would be the McDonald's opposite.
c. M.
A little busy and noisy, but yeah it's the real American experience wright?
The meat paddy's were one of the best I've tasted in a fast food burger place like this, the fries we're also very good.
Burger, fries and a Budweiser for about 18£, worth the price.

My son (aged 5) and I dined here when visiting London on sat 15th Jan. There was a young man on the counter who was so funny and kind. I didn’t catch his name unfortunately, but would recommend this place just for him. The food wasn’t bad.
T. H.
It was my second time to a Five Guys. The guy at the till wasn't really helpful but I got my order placed. The food was lovely and fresh and to my liking and I liked the drinks machine with all the crazy flavours of pop. I wouldn't visit here again in a rush.
A. A.
Jamele quencely
I came down to five guys in Kings cross today and received great customer service at the till from Jamele and Quencely was so fast with completing my order . Absolutely phenomenal employees. They were extremely helpful and social, it was great speaking with them and getting a feel of the complete five guys experience . DEFINITELY COMING BACK .
M. J.
This place is awesome. I visit every time I am in London. There is five guys every where but this has to be the best. Food is awesome but what's even better is the staff. I am sure they are told to be polite and happy to customers but you can tell when someone means it and not doing it because they have to and this is what you get here. Real passion to help and serve. Well done guys five star from me.
F. A.
Best burger & fries I’ve ever had in my life! Staff were nice & tables are spotless, would go back again 👍
J. F.
Jamele is easily the best guy I have met today. He was kind. Fun. Friendly. Looks intelligent and that he would be kind to old people and children. I trust him.
J. P.
Very nice experience, food tasty, great customer service.
As soon I get inside somebody call me trying to help, she was very kind.
A little pricey but the burger and fries were amazing!! I couldn’t finish all portion of fries as it was very big.
J. C.
It's a tad expensive for a burger... But you won't forget the taste and the quality for weeks. Definitely a once a month must do.
E. W.
Clean and tidy branch of Five Guys with friendly service and quick preparation of food 🍔🍟
Y. R.
Great burgers. Little Burgers are with one meat, Normal are 2 meats.
Fries are really good American Fries.
As the place says, it's the whole american experience for real.
Many toppings to choose and they are really good.
I don't like that they give you the food as if it was for take away, in a bag and aluminum, appart from it, is recommended.
Prices are 5-10 pounds depending on the burger.
Milkshakes are amazing! Malt Milkshake Is a good choice, taste as vanilla but smoother.
A. F.
Very Assam place but expensive for my budget any way open until late get the big burger and hang out with friends
R. S.
Jamele is so good. He was cool quick and helpful. He is best five guys guy. And Quenteley she’s pretty great too!
A. I.
Customer service was 100%!!! First time eating at five guys not going to be my last. Felt very comfortable in the shop yesterday , all the staff were lovely and the manager on duty was simply perfect! Engaged with us throughout our stay making sure we were satisfying with our everything. Yesterday service was the best
D. H. I.
I was grateful to find this American burger joint here. The price is ridiculously cheap in London! Burger wasn't disappointing at all. Free flow of drinks (if you buy the drinks) and free peanuts for snacking around! Their toilet was vibrant with all the hanging posters.
J. S.
Jamele and leshante were toooo good, I was about to die of starvation and this iconic duo came down from above to save me of my hunger - and served me with a smile. Give them a pay rise
M. z.
Jamele was awesome with his customer service. Friendly, explained all the options on the menu.
Best customer service I’ve had in an establishment.
c. J.
Best five guys branch I have ever been to! Everyone was super friendly and the food was ready so quickly. Best burgers in town!
B. M.
Tasted identical to a Whopper. Not necessarily a bad thing, except it was more than twice the price. The place was so cold, I didn't have time to eat my burger before it to was cold. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly.
g. f.
Yes had a burger with chips & strawberry & cheese cake milkshake... Burger was on point chips were tasty... didn't think much of the milkshake i should have just had strawberry.. without the cheese cake 🎂
C. M.
Jamele! The best at Five Guys!
S. F.
I find that the cheeseburgers at this Five Guys outlet are consistently good. However, their premium price means these are a treat for special occasions.
P. R.
The food always comes fast, hot and gooood! Never disappointed!
Ps: Thanks Jamele for your great customer service 😊
G. C.
Probably the optimum time to go to any Five Guys is in the middle of the afternoon.
The service is quick and the food was very tasty. I asked for tap water and got a very small cup unlike the size of the normal drink cups.
It betrays a lack of generosity of spirit in the Five Guys business ethic.
O. S.
first time five guys. we ordered all round burger. I was amazed with how juicy the meat was and the toppings were great. I don't eat burgers a lot but I've tasted some dry ones without taste before. looking at this burger it was juicy, tasty and just delicious. only downside is price. tbh I wouldn't pay that much for a burger, but for once a couple months it's pretty ok.
M. B.
Rukia took our order tonight at Five guys kings cross, she was so lovely, beautiful smile, great energy, its always great to receive such great customer service, especially in these day and age. Managers please make sure you pass on the message. Rukia your future can only be bright with this attitude. Bless you lots of love.❤️✨
M. C.
A late night dirty burger in Kings Cross with the best and worst of society sat around you displaying bleary eyes, smudged make up and expensive shoes.
Whats not to like!?
J. A.
Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price For Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall the 5 Five Guys prices are generally leaning towards the more expensive sides. Even though they fall under a “fast food” bracket.
Speed of Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
On this particular visit the time between placing my order and receiving it was very rapid. Not too shabby
Food Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
My order was okay. Cheese could have been melted a little longer to create that ooey-gooey aspect. Meat was cooked to perfection and chips were fab!
Restaraunt Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No major issues here store was clean and pristine!
F. F.
Leshante and quencely and Jamele gave me unbelievable service never ate food made with such loving care and rapid service will definitely be visiting again and wanted to make sure I showed my appreciation to the staff
S. Y.
I love burgers and Five Guys ones are great regardless the branch/location it is consistent through out!
I had the small (not really small, just with single meat patty rather than double pattty)cheese burger and Cajun fries with a refillable soft drink.
I am not a massive fan of fries and potatoes for that matter, but always enjoy the fries with five guys. One negative would be that they are not as crisp as I would like them, nevertheless tasty.
My meal cost around £12. Which is steep for a fast food burger joint, however, the quality is significantly higher than MC & BK and even GBK and you know where all the ingredients are sourced because it is posted on the walls. the potatoes for my fries were, for example, sourced from the Netherlands (my home country🥰🥰) TODAY.
B. J.
Great fries, BLT sandwich is a bit ridiculous (super crispy bacon by the handful on a bun). My husband loves the soda machine
R. L.
I would recommend this to all burger lovers out there and let's do not forget about there fries yummy :)
I had a milkshake with oreo taste and it was super good!
It was busy when I was there but the wait did not bother at all and they are fast ;) and some of the workers there went around and cleaned a big plus for that and I thought that there is no way to find a seat but it that was not problem even though it was busy busy busy.
H.
Amazing service, but didn’t appreciate the dude behind the till on Monday night judging me for my order. Soo rude 🙄
L. L.
Best burguers in the world!! Very very fast service, good food and nice location. Would go again! Good staff. Littke expensive for burguers but...they worth it!
l. t.
Cajun chips and the milkshake were good. The burger not so much. Bacon was a few small pieces and patty were bland
w. t.
Nice but busy space but they know how to cover up the big queues. Big space for seatings, loud music, nice service. Love this American style space.
L. B.
Just good fresh hot food. It's a Five Guy's. Better than a lot of common chain shop restaurants.
T. Y.
Tasty burgers! Lovely milkshake and good fries but a quite expensive for these sizes. Professional stuff and nice environment here.
K. W.
Best chips Iv had! I kept going back for more. Chips were fresh and hot and perfectly salted
D. K.
1st time I've been to five guys the food is good and you get loads, your definitely coming out of there with a full belly!!
A. C.
Had a classic burger with spicy chips for 12 pounds.
The customisation aspect is pretty good in theory but drastically slows down production speed of the burgers during peak hours, which means a long wait for hungry customers who to eat fast. Also, they make multiple burgers at once, which means the burger patty tends to get a bit cold when they finally finished all their burgers at once at the production line in view of everyone in the open kitchen.
For that pricetag though, I don't really think it is worth the value as I've had better burgers in pubs or other burger chains for the same or cheaper price.
M.
At the very least 20% fat beef burgers wish it was a bit less. I am team fat all the way but too much of a great thing isn't always great.
M. L.
You're at the top of the burger franchises here. Great burgers and fries with the opportunity to choose what you want in your burger. Please come to Copenhagen 🙏
s. E.
I have been there twice once in Newcastle and London. Burger and the chips was great. I love love their chips.
S. L.
Great quality, very filling and good serving sizes. Chips are nice but never quite cooked enough imo. Quite a confused ordering system meant it took a while to get the food but worth the wait. Milkshakes overrated
U. -. V. S.
Regular five guys are better than other chain burger joints.
M. A.
Good service absolutely loved one particular staff member couldn’t remember her name something along lines of quencely.
P. K. P.
One of the best places to find the best potatoes and food possibly. I couldn't tell more about their taste and hygiene. Safety has been their main thing plus the way they treat and serve their customers are awesome as well. You guys rock, Five Guys! Thanks.
M. E. (.
This Five guys is exactly what you'd expect if you know the brand. A good classic burger with some nicely flavored fries. And if you add one of their milkshakes too, you might just get addicted, if you can afford it. ;)
I. A.
Hope that they provide Halal option,
They cook beef with sausage together!!
Recently I discovered that they have all beef dog (no pork) which is awesome 👏
I like their wide options of soft drinks and grilled cheese sandwiche, and never forget cajun Fries🍟
j. 7.
The manager thought my family and I were lost in London. He came out his shop to try to assist us.We were actually undecided about where to eat.
We decided to go to five guys.
My son dropped his milkshake and without asking the shop replaced this without charge straight away.
When we left my other son had left his phone. The manager came running out and started looking for us to return the phone before we left London.
D.
It was expensive and I personally did not like the burger but the fries and bottomless cup were nice
S. 2.
First visit to a Five Guys anywhere. Enjoyed the burger, the cleaning of the store needs a bit more attention though.
A. E. B.
Great burgerd. Freshly cooked food to order. Good value for money.
M. G.
Sometimes you need a perfectly packed, cheese-dripping, heart-stopping, dirty burger with unlimited soda and a mountain of Cajun fries. This is where Five Guys comes in. The burgers are fantastic, the fries crisp and well spiced, and there are flavours of Coke I didn't realise existed. The degree of bonus fries varies, though, and here this particular branch loses a star. Usually a small fries is enough to feed a small town, and maybe I've been spoiled by other, more generous Five Guys outlets. But the fries serving here bordered on stingy.
A. V.
Very good service! I loved the cajun fries😍 and the cashier was super helpful, I will definitely come back
J.
It's a five guys. Still the best fast-food-chain burgers in the UK, this time next to a major rail hub!
I. C.
Five guys make great burgers and give generous portions. A small cajan fries can actually feed two!
A.
Great burgers, a bit small. Great chips, but all distributed in the bag :( love the variation of drinks you can create! It was mostly clean, staff was always around and friendly!
M. S.
The burgers are OK but not worth the price. There is a McDonald's over the road, go there instead.
C.
They're hamburgers taste fresh and home made. The toppings actually look like the vegetable they are. I find the mini burger with all toppings (except spices ones) is really nicely filling.
During Covid, they were very good. They brought your food to your table.
h.
A good branch of five guys friendly staff and very spacious. Gets very busy during rush hour and lunch. Classic great tasting five guys, seating and tables could’ve been cleaner but otherwise good.
A. C.
Good food but service was slower than expected.
s. g.
Brilliant fries 🍟 and plentiful too 😋. Shame about their burgers 🍔 being limited to only Beef .
A. N.
Great burgers and fries. But pricey, and slightly sterile feel
b.
the best burger and milkshake I've ever had in my life, thank u host faith
L. T.
Overall the burger was overpriced for the quality of the food. Seems to have gone down in overall quality since my last visit. Drinks machine was low on syrup so the drink was tasteless. The fries were OK but overall it felt a greasy dissapointing eating experience overall.
R. W. (.
Great custom burgers, spicy chips are amazing and the milkshakes are brilliant. Recommend the food but it is expensive. Staff here are polite though and have a strong customer service skills.
S.
As always, quick friendly service and a great tasting burger and chips.
M. C.
Staff not very helpful. Didn't get one of the drinks I asked for. Food was fine, nothing special.
P. E.
Really good burgers, fries good! Worth the wait
m. p.
Jamele was a star server, patient and happy to help.
defo coming back before leaving london!
Perfect service
C. H.
A hidden gem that no one has ever heard about. Five ancient Italian men in the back, each specialize in their own burger ingredient, while Mama makes the fries. Just like in the old country!
S. C.
Food was not hot because it was left on the side once made.
The doors of the restaurant were left open so it was cold.
M. R.
The place was sparkling clean, staff were friendly and profesional and great food. What more cab you ask for?
S. C.
Much quieter than other 5 guys in London so easier to get served, people whinge about price but you get what you pay for.
D. O.
Despite all the hype this my first Five Guys. The meat itself was of a very high quality and delicious. The customised milkshakes were all also fantastic. The only downsides were the struggle to get a seat and it was a little expensive for food on the go.
M. W. N.
Can't go wrong with the burgers here and the fries are pretty great too (skin on fries). Have recently tried their hotdogs for the first time, and although on the smaller & pricier side, it tastes great. However the burger is still the better value item if you're looking to fill your bellies.
E. B.
Quick service. Burgers are expensive but very good. Always get so many chips
D. B.
This was my second experience of five guys. I really can't understand why they are so expensive. Nothing special about their food. Small burger and small fries (mo drink) £11
A. I. d. G.
Very good location near Kings Cross. The food it's all right, the quantity it's very nice as well as the quality.
There is refreshment machine so you can refill your drink and you can mix them too if you wanted to.
Also, peanuts for free available!
J. D.
Burgers are not bad, however no suitable mortgages offered despite an offer of a decent down payment. Prices have rocketed since the 2008 crash.
D. P.
If you're old enough to remember when they had Wendys burgers in this country, you'll appreciate how good Five Guys is. You get to watch yours being prepared, and the staff are very helpful when taking the order. I have always gone for the Cajun Fries, and usually have the bottomless drinks. This time I tried a cherry milkshake. It was excellent. There were even real cherries in the bottom! This is the fifth Five Guys I've been to, and have never been disappointed. Try them if you can.
S. T.
Burger patty itself was a bit bland. Also relatively thinner than other burger places in London. Also can't choose cooking doneness. Fun to be able to choose up to 15 toppings and helps add to the flavor. Looks better than it tastes. Good but there are definitely better burgers in London, and will only go back if convenient, or I'm craving for a burger and there are no other choices nearby.
B. C.
Great burgers, hot dogs and milk shakes. Chips are pretty good too.
S. G.
Yet again great burger and fries. The chocolate milkshake was smooth and delicious.
P. L.
I was very please with the service from Jamel and leshante. They really made my time at the cashier point really good.
R. M.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Thanks team!
A. I.
excellent customer service, I was a new customer and the employee took his time to help me go through the menu. Quick food distribution and perfect food.
G. A. R.
Jamele : He is one of a kind ❤️
c. j.
Amazing burger, as always. Staff in this branch are great - friendly, helpful and polite. Definitely will return.
N. L.
Food was very tasty, I had a bacon dog was a little small but very good.
I'll probably regret the unlimited refills on the fizzy drinks.
D. S.
Friendly and approachable staff, delicious burgers and fries, and the best shakes EVAR! What's not to love?
M. A. S. F.
The place is nice and organized, costumer service is really good, the Hamburger is amazing, tasty and all the ingredients are fresh, perfect fries. I will be back.
R. W.
Five stars JUST for the COFFEE MILKSHAKE!
Burger was really good too.
F.
Love the food, especially the burgers. Burgers are cooked once you place your order, so i know its not been sat there beforehand.
Takeaway service is good, and worth the small wait, and the service is always polite.
I. E.
Best fast food of any chain. James hooked me up with a free milkshake too
D. S.
Nice clean store. Great service from Jamele also!
D. J. R.
Loved it! Amazing burgers, superb fries and even better staff.
Will most definitely come back! Thanks to the lot of you for such tasty meal!
O.
Personally ive had better else at other places, 6 pounds for a small hot dog !!
O. V.
One of the best place to have the Burger of your dream, your Way ... enjoy Your Burger
P. H.
Right near King's Cross so often pop in for food for the train ride home & love the milkshakes great choice & quality
H. M.
It's Five Guys folks...yes it's fast food...mist definitely nothing healthy about it but hey soo tasty. The only place I swear by for that cheat unhealthy indulgence and I don't feel bad about it. You can always count on Five Guys to be consistent wherever you go.
A. D.
Great food good service big up jamele amazing work!
N. A.
Amazing burgers and hotdogs👌🏼 The best fast food chain I've ever eaten in
e. t.
For a simple good burger, this is the one. Forget about the over rated over price S S.......
J. B.
Really good burgers. Helpful staff and I observed a very active cleaning regime.
R. S.
Veg sandwich is surprisingly decent, especially considering it doesn't come with any patty. Bear in mind this is the only veggie option on the menu. Chips are always good here with the cajun rub!
I. H.
This guys perfect the Burger is amazing thank you so much guy's (Patrick)
R. F.
five guys burgers are lit, and this one is so easy to find you could probably spot it from the international space station, it is a burger landmark
P. R.
First time I have eaten in five guys. Fast service great food definitely will be going back
t. s.
Great experience served by excellent member named Jamal and Leshante. Would advise :)
C. J.
Arguably one of the best places to eat around King's cross and St. Pancras station.
N. E. A.
Customer service very good, but overall the quality was a bit disappointing based on the food experience.
Burger a bit tasteless and chips quite soggy.
I am usually a fan of Five Guys but today was not the case.
T.
Decided to introduce my friends to the delights of Five Guys. One of them were incredulous to find out you can buy a bacon milkshake, but not shocked enough to buy one.
We did get enough fries to feed the 5000 though.
L. J.
Very cheerful staff, clean facilities. The food was good and came at lightening speed!
G. B.
Have been really well served by a nice guy called Jamele. Thanks
J. C.
Not too busy, food fast, burger tasting good. The site was busy, but kept very clean.
S. L.
Always a visit to look forward to. Great tasting burgers freshly made to order. I love it.
A. E. I.
Noisy and crowded place, but still the best burgers and fries at Five Guys. Exactly the same as the American one 🇺🇲🇬🇧
B. H.
Hot dog was pretty good, shame I asked for onions rather than grilled onions!
P. B.
Awesome food, great service from Jamele and Leshante
O. W.
Awesome food, quick service and all to a high quality. Definitely one for food lovers!
T. S.
Banging burgers and fries. Doesn't get any better! Keep it up guys.
M. K.
Martin thanks for being so lovely yesterday evening, service with a smile they say.
J. I.
Best burger I've ever had.
S. C.
Always great food worth 5 stars, but overly priced.
M. F.
It's not a bad place to eat if you want fast food before catching your train, but let's be honest - £18 for a cheeseburger, fries and a beer. I've paid similar prices at actual restaurants. Just stack all of the free burger garnishes you can and get the most out of your cash. Food's alright. They actually store the coronas well though, they don't taste skunked whatsoever.
A. B.
Jamal and Lefhante what a pair of absolute legends. Great service every time.
E. S.
Fab service and amazing food 🤩
Leah ante was fantastic!
L. L.
Five Guys burgers are very delicious. I found them to be very nice to eat. Classic choice of toppings — gherkins, onions, ketchup, mayo, tomato, lettuce. Whatever you fancy at no particular extra cost. Milkshakes are also classic. Very delicious, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and they have more exotic flavours too, like blended sweet biscuit. That also fry chips very nicely and have monkey nuts everywhere
B. C.
Great service, best five guys. Jamele is the best, thank you!
D. D.
Lovely staff. They were all so happy.
The food was tasty.
A. S.
Super busy but the staff did a great job managing all the orders. Cheeseburger was great
P. S.
Been a few times, staff are friendly but for me the burger is way too greasy and it’s too expensive for what you get.
d. n.
I really enjoyed the food today it was awesome ! Timing perfect and food was amazing ! The service is really good, they take care of you as a customer for sure !!! Special dedication to Antonio the assistant manager his advices where helpful and kindly good. Amazing store, amazing person !

I recently visited this five guys and was served by a wonderful gentleman named Binh. I have never been to a five guys restaurant before and as I was being served I was given excellent guidance on the wide variety of options and (as I have a quite severe gluten allergy) to the fact that I could either have a bowl without the bun or a lettuce wrap, I chose the lettuce wrap. the man who served me was polite professional and informative about your menu and it was honestly the best experience I have ever had in a fast food joint in many many years, I feel that your colleagues depth of knowledge and personable service was a joy to behold. (if he is not a member of management then he deffo should be!) will return again on a semi regular basis going forward. Thank you so much to everyone involved :D

Burger: A neighbour passed a burger over the fence type quality.
Fries: Incredible - probably how they get people to go back.
Milkshake: They taste great. However for the same price you could get nearly 3 krushems from KFC which are better.
Price = Fraudulent
D. H.
1st timers be aware: 1 x milkshake, 1 x burger & medium fries = £18. Jaw dropping, Eye popping but it's true! The meat is openly cooked in front of their customers and as many toppings to your burger "Ooops! I mean pattie," as you like.. Now for the taste test: Freshness!! That's the only difference in it for me. BK has that flamed grilled taste and Mc D's is & has always been Mc D's - I love McDonalds & even though times are hard you can still walk away with change in your pocket. Not Five guys - Foods bland even with sauces (is that a good thing or a bad thing?)
S. K.
Great place to eat in. The Waitress was really helpful and treated us with kindness. Twice she checked on us to see that everything we needed was there and asked if the meal was ok. I recommend this place so much. It has elevation for a wheelchair as well..
S. M.
Excellent food. Love this place. Bring all your friends you won't be disappointed!
L. O.
Never knew till recently that 5 guys did a veggie sandwich,
Now my favourite thing when I visit ....
G. C.
This is one of my favourite five guys store. Great atmosphere, service and staff. Top quality burger!
b. r.
Utter filth. Delicious burgers. Negatively, can any burger joint match Maccas for fries? 5 guys doesn't come close. Terrible fries and ridiculous amounts of them
A. F.
Jamele was brilliant. Amazing customer service, very friendly.
A. J. M.
I must confess, I do like Five Guys, I love the fact that you can completely customise your burger. The fries are always plentiful so you never feel short changed.
Drinks, they sell alcohol - wow. That was a real surprise to me. I think their milkshakes are the best "I've" every had from a burger joint. When I think of somewhere like McDonald's where it feels like you're holding an empty cup vs the weight of Five Guys milkshake offering.
The big downside for me however and it's a major one is the price. I took one of my son's, we both had burgers, fries and a milkshake... that cost me £39.40. So a family of 4 is not looking at much change from £80 for what is in effect a burger joint.
S. R.
First Five Guys cheeseburger. Nice! Banana milkshake to die for.
M. K.
In the heart of the night, amongst loads of people, service and food remain great. Bravo !
T. S.
Unique place you get to customize your burger . portions are rather Large
C. C.
Cheese dogs are yummy not to busy milkshakes are worth a try!!
J. B.
I've eaten at kings cross five guys a few times and the staff is always nice and polite, and the chips are always fresh!. The meals we order were prepared rather quick even though they seem to be pretty busy, . Can't wait for COVID to be over so I can eat in.
J. D.
Food was alright, shake was pretty tasty and was nice they were open late and right outside the train station
A.
The burger and "little" fries I had were some of the best I've ever had! The fries were most places large and it was incredible!
P.
Great service. Nice guys. Leshante’s amazing
L. “.
Five guys is a bit pricey in my view for a fast food burger. But they are darn good.
This particular location impressed me because they were very efficient despite the place being absolutely full.
There was an almost perfect amount of seating.
S. M.
I was served by Stefanie and she was really great and food is excellent
m. p. (. T. A.
Nice and friendly staff and great food as always. Just a heads up that there are a small number of unisex toilets though so you may have to wait!
A. H.
Not sure there is anything better than a cheese and bacon five guys at 11pm after a few beers!
E. M.
Good burger, nice vibe, a bit expensive but you do get unlimited drinks.
A.
Very nice, they give you alot of chips. Burgers are nice, so are the milk shakes. Hygiene is good too. Just a heads up, chips were quite salty for people who don't like salt
J. H.
Great food fantastic staff 100%👍👍
A.
Hamburger is always good when hungry late at night on the way home. Pricey but enjoyable and filling so what’s not to like?
F.
Abigail customer service was 10/10 amazing she was lovely definitely recommend
T. L.
As the gang and I walk past, I see a man and a woman on the corner table. They are set far from the noise of the kitchen. Peering through the window I see the man listening attentively to the woman speak. They both look trendy and not unlikely a date. Mandems walk into this five guys to relinquish our hunger. We ordered cheeseburgers, large fries and a milkshake and a grilled cheese. My leather belt fatigues under the immense pressure of my adiposity. I rejoice as my order number is called. As sudden as a heart attack I am disheartened. You set a precedent with filling the bag with extra fries. When that doesn't happen on even one occasion manz get vexxed. Potatoes from UK make for variable chips. A lot of the time they are stumpy and short. The polysaccharide variations of different farms leaves for a different mouth feel each time. The solution of coating with spice mix is not a solution. The bun is excellent, beef have room to improve - unclear the blend of cuts used. There is an LA vibe with the hand ripped grip of iceberg lettuce used, its personal taste, but I'd prefer shredded or lightly stacked. Thickness of beef tomato slice is good. Cheese is American and melts well giving creaminess to it. Grilled cheese is a burger bun upside down with American cheese. Milkshakes are OK, whipped cream is a nice addition.
Once satiated we begin to leave, curiously, my eyes wander to the far corner seats to see the couple still sat in the same positions as if a permanent fixture, a monument to the burger kings. Not to my surprise the woman appears to remain in monologue, but to my surprise the man remains attentive. I ponder on this observation and I think to myself... "BUT IS HE GONNA BANG THOUGH!!???!"
4 out of 5 whoopers

I had a burger and chips. The burger came as a double, which I think is standard, and as per the Five Guys way, I chose my toppings and condiments to make a burger that was perfect for me. Awesome chips - nice and crispy on the outside, with skin on. Friendly staff. Toilets were pristine, which I always take as a good indicator for the cleanliness behind the scenes. They use peanut oil and serve complimentary peanuts, so I think those with peanut allergies should definitely avoid (though it's a shame you'll miss out!) For those wondering if they have time to get a Five Guys before their train: I had just over 20 minutes before my train from King's Cross, and I had just enough time to get my train with a brisk walk back to the station. I think I got lucky to be served straight away (though I had to wait for the burgers to cook), so I'd recommend at least 30 mins to be safe. Five Guys is a bit pricey, more than I thought it would be, but worth the money as an occasional treat!
N. D.
Good service and friendly staff but average food.
m. d.
Right opposite a McDonald's and although the price is higher you definitely get what you pay for great burgers and fries.
If you are debating if the price is worth paying I urge you to try it then you will see why it is what it is
H. M.
Jamele and leshante were fabulous! Great service
D. D.
Fantastic burger joint, the flavours are mouth watering from their burgers and their beef dogs, a heads up if you order large chips the massive portion is enough to feed 3 adults. Real nice chips though.
S. P.
Taste just like back home in America! Really solid burger and great fries.
v. w.
Great food just like in the USA not a long line or anything close to the hotel.
K. J.
Was served by Elizabeth and she was very helpful, great customer service!
D. G.
I have a weakness for the 5 Guys chain as a whole. Been to a few different ones, every one of which has been excellent.
It's pricey for sure, but the burgers and the fries are just perfection. From the fresh preparation of the burgers to the wide and fully customisable choice of toppings to the friendly staff and efficient service...
5 Guys do a limited menu exceptionally well and I've yet to take someone there for whom it didn't become their new favourite burger place.
Not so great if you have peanut allergies, mind you.
C. R.
Love their milkshake. I love the branch in WoodGreen area. More relaxing & quiet.
F. B.
Honestly one of my favourite burger places, excellent fries, always quick and always friendly staff at all the locations I've been in London and Leeds. Keep it up guys!
Also nice to see a restaurant that has adequate staffing, it really shows in quality and speed of service as well as cleanliness and the general mood of the staff and restaurant.
c. n.
Go there, get the hot dog. The best. Ever.
E. M.
Went for the double burger, but it was a little too much meat for me. I went back the next day though (so it must have been good) and had the single burger, which was more manageable. The fries are amazing and I recommend going "all the way" on the toppings. I was disappointed that the drinks machine didn't do vanilla coke, but that's a small niggle. Maybe the best fast food in London - that I've had, anyway ;-)
T. D.
My time back in August was fantastic. The burger was delicious. Have to say tho at the time it was like a sauna in there. Not sure if the AC was on the fence or what but I pushed it to the back of my mind because that burger and view of town was well worth it.
K. _.
Amazing burgers juicy as well as very fresh 100% recommended
N. H.
Went for lunch and or ordered service was fast but to crowded and had seating do I could eat in.
M. J.
First time ever used 5 guys definitely won't be the last good food and plenty
T. K.
very good fries 🍟 and burgers
W. S.
Pleasant staff, quick service and food was good.
K. W. P.
They forgot the jalapeños on my cheese burger and it took like 15 minutes, but the shake was good and juicy burger
A. N.
You really can't go wrong with five guys if you're after a greasy burger. I love to load it with all the toppings and it's definitely one of my top burgers in London. Only complaint is if they could actually manage to keep most of the chips inside of the cup and not the bag???
A. J.
Good burgers but the service needs to get better. Ordered my own and waited for nearly 30 mins only to find that it was ready long back. Should have a call out system or a display to inborn that your order is ready.
A truly varied choice of drinks. Absolutely great. Keep it up.
J. L.
Great burgers! Really a much closer to an American style dining experience, with the build your own burger selection (adding whatever toppings you want). Fries are a generous portion, and fried in peanut oil - which gives it a lovely flavour. This particular restaurant is just outside Kings Cross which makes is super quick to jump over for some lunch/dinner. Prices are quite steep for what you're getting, but the quality is there.
N. A.
Five guys in king's cross is most of the time very busy. But the service is good and the wait is not bad given the pressure of customers. We struggled to find a place to sit as it was almost 100% occupancy. Lovely atmosphere. I especially love the peanuts. A bit noisy for those looking for a calm romantic space. We ordered hamburger and it was nice.
S.
Five guys provided me with excellent customer service, succulent burgers with tasty chips
K. K.

M. C.
Amazing spicy chips, great portion size (kfc hang your head in shame) the chocolate milkshake is honestly one of the best I've ever had!!! Burger was decent maybe lacking in Greece however I throughly enjoyed it
L. H. G.
Jamele is a legend. Super helpful, can’t recommend more.
M. T.
Every time I didn't have a Five Guys burger with fries for a while, I feel this urge to go and grab a meal there.
Definitely the best burger fast food I've been to.
Must have are the Cajun Fries and the Cheesburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and hot sauce.
A. O.
Food is great but the staff? Man, not cool.
L. K.
One of the cleanest food places I've seen in a while, which is rather refreshing. Good service, fast service, unlimited coca cola freestyle dispenser, restrooms... lots to like! However it is quite expensive. Minimum burger is £4.95 and minimum drink is £2.50 for bottled water. Sorry but £2.50 for a bottled water is taking the piss.
A. A.
The chicken is so good--actually tastes like chicken! Fast service. Had the quarter chicken with chips and sauteed vegetables. Medium sauce. Order near the front and give them your table number. Pick up your utensils and extra sauce. Had just poured my beer when the plate arrived. Staff very friendly and attentive. So yummy.
L. G.
A decent (nothing to shout home about) burger, chips and milkshake but extortionately priced at just under £17 (and that was small everything as well). My chocolate milkshake was vanilla by the time it arrived (took 20mins to get the food but it was a busy lunchtime to be fair) only compounded matters. 3 stars as the staff were friendly and the food edible but I won't be rushing back!
L. F.
Brilliant service in an unusually busy period, strict one way system as per pandemic rules. Left my phone on the table and fortunatley they opened back up to hand it back after closing.
M. A.
Fast, friendly and a really well cooked and balanced burger. Simple but done right. Definitely worth the extra compared to other high street burgers. I'm a big fan and eat at Five Guys pretty often.
L. T.
Five Guys know their burgers, very fresh and made how you want it. Very kind staff, clean restaurant, toilets and free peanuts make this my favourite place to get a quick fill up.
Pick the type of burger you want, add toppings, pick up when ready and enjoy.
M. H.
Great staff! Great energy and lovely cheeseburger!
The place to go with their red and white shop design reminding the good old times! Definitely in love with the Coca Cola machine!
🔥🔥🔥
A. R.
Excellent burgers . Small tip unless you're very, very hungry the small portions in the menu isn't kids size . It's the regular size of other places. Their regular size feels like super sized in other burger places.
The burgers are definitely one of the best in London.
Service is decent without being the unseemly haste you get in a fast food place.
V. C.
First visit to this place and came on a recommendation. The food was excellent but the portion size of the fries was huge, we ordered regular but should have ordered small. The standard cheese burger was a double. Not the best place to go if you have a small appetite as this place seems to go for American portion sizes
P. (.
Great burgers, convenient location, if you fancy a burger and want more than mcds and burger king with stopping here. Obviously can get busy but you will be served in under five minutes. Also a bonus around here that the washrooms are kept effectively clean (compared to McD). Obviously the price is higher than your usual fare. Tip from me if your ordering fries don't go big stick with sandal. With each portion of fries they give you an extra helping unless you want loads and loads of fries
S. C.
Never been to a Five Guys before this visit, and although the toppings menu was a little overwhelming at first, the server was really helpful. Went for a cheese dog with fries and a Brooklyn beer, just yummy the whole thing. I would definitely go again.
J. S.
Five Guys are without doubt one of the best fast food chains in London. Whilst their menu is not as expansive as some, what they do they do with great taste and style. The restaurants themselves are clean and bright with really nice staff. Ultimately they are fast food done well.
M. O.
Was a very friendly place to eat and the fries were the best part. The burgers are very nice but nothing to write home about. We went here before going to a gig and have to say that we enjoyed ourselves, just a shame that anyone with a nut allergy should stay away from here, I didn't see any warnings that nuts would be present before going into the shop.
M.
Janelle is the best server, fast and polite.
A. T.
Just stopped for a milkshake. Oreo and peanut butter mix. Not bad, but after drinking the whole cup, I feel 🤢
k. g.
Friendly staff. Not much non-beef meat options though.
z. M.
One of the best fast food restaurants in my opinion. You'll probably want a small chips as their portion sizes can often feed a small family. For anyone who's picky about what they want in their burgers it's great as by default the burger comes with just the burger and bun and everything extra is chosen as toppings.
D. B.
I went today around 9:30pm, I enjoyed the experience, all the staff were friendly, the chefs seemed to all be smiles and buddys, a very cool environment (other places should take note from this Five Guys) Burgers were AMAZING! I will def be a regular here. 5/5
A. J.
I walked into this place completely accidentally, and I can't be more grateful for that. After trying ALL the fast-food burgers in the city, I can safely say that this is the best one by far. The french fries are amazing and they give you tons of it!!
M. M.
The burger was tasty but expensive. The chocolate milkshake was very chocolatey, very tasty. The Cajun fries were very moreish but portion size is small for the price. The veggie options are extremely limited. The grilled cheese was incredibly poor, a burger bun grilled left inside out with one slice of fresh tomato and one slice of fluorescent orange American synthetic cheese.... Yuk.
M. D.
We were so happy to have good ol' American food again in the middle of a long trip. Just what we were expecting with the good burgers and fries. We loved the self-serve soda machine and being able to get refills and the peanuts to eat while waiting. Very nice and clean restaurant and in an amazing location!
K. C.
Still busy at 10pm, so a small queue, but not more than a couple of minutes to wait. Polite and helpful till staff took my order without issue, and there was not too much of a wait for it to be freshly cooked and served. Up to five guys usual high standards - hot, fresh, tasty and a generous serving. Tables were clean and available, and I got to eat in peace and comfort. Toilets were also clean and pleasant when used.
5g may cost more than going across the road to Maccie D's, but it's a better, nicer meal by far.
H. O.
Clean, no long queues and food ready quickly. The one complaint I have is that I spilt my milkshake whilst eating, and given that this happened within its premises I thought that I'd be able to have my drink replaced. The assistant didn't think so and I ended up paying for spilt milkshake
W. I.
As 50% off government policy lands, it is worth a try. However, I do believe it is quite overpriced since there are better options withint similar price range. Their Burger is very nice, yet greasy and salty.
R. B.
This particular 5 Guys has a bad layout but they are constrained by the site. Cherry vanilla milkshake was nice, but I will stick to single flavours in future. The milkshakes are always epic, though. I had a 'little' chips which still defeated me. Bacon cheeseburger was good and needed for what I had to look forward to later in the day.
S. L.
Not only was the food amazing; I was quite impressed with the kitchen efficiency and professionalism too!
A. M.
It's a novelty as we don't have Five Guys in Australia. So it was a must do. Also, being that I eat kosher, it's a surprise they do beef hotdogs as most places they are pork. You get to choose your fillings etc. My only issue is price. They do not offer any kind of "meal deal". They just add up the single items you select. And a large meal ends up at about 20 pounds plus! That's about double I'd expect for a large meal at McDonald's. I'm not aware if they claim to be organic or not, to try justifying the price. But for me it's quantity and taste before supposed "quality". I don't care if it's free range or organic. I care about bang for your buck.
T. H. G. “. G.
If you plan to visit here, allow yourself a good bit of time. Big portions. Loads of toppings in your burger, and you can top up your juice with multi flavours.
All great stuff - but be prepared to sell a kidney just to be able to meet the bill...
All good quality stuff - but at over 3 x the cost of the world's most commonly found burger shop (M), it's more of a dine out than a bit of fast food.
There's free monkey nuts available...
P. B.
They were bustling with tons of customers but everything was great: great burger, a killer of fries when I ordered the small portion and no mistakes even though they had a thousand orders to make. Quick and friendly staff too, and someone was always cleaning, so even though it was a pre-bank holiday night with loads of people coming back from carnival, it was super clean!
A. T.
Always good burgers and chips.
P. S.
Awesome place. Large portions, superb burgers wrapped in foil. Fries are really nice. Shakes and all that sorts too. If you buy soft drinks you get to choose from an extremely wide variety of styles n sorts.
A bit loud and hectic, but it is included in the package. It feels like the theme. Very happy and friendly staff.
M. F.
Really good burgers! You can individual choose your toppings. Additional you get loads of fries and all you can drink option. The quality is good but it comes with a quite high price! Will come there again :)
D. L.
Patties are still tasteless, fries are still amazing
S. P.
Fast service, food was okay and came quickly.
M. S.
I've heard a lot about this franchise, and in fact, close to where I lived for over 7 years, there was a giant 5 guys. Unfortunately, I found the food to be overhyped and underwhelming. The burger was mushy and greasy, without any flavor, and the chips were luke warm. The staff were very polite and lovely, but the food was subpar.
A. D.
First time in Five Guys.
I been yesterday for a take-away dinner, the food was INCREDIBLE, the fries tasty and the members of staff greeted me until I left!
I WILL COME BACK FOR SURE!
K. M.
Burger was amazing so tasty and had that proper smoky American burger taste. Fries were huge, shared a drink. Only downside is not being told the drinks were refillable. Could have done with a top up.
E.
KX five guys definitely the best one - Abdul and Jason sorted me out, top guys 👍🏼
C. T.
Delicious good burgers and fries. A must stop for an American who has been eating schnitzel all week!
B. F.
Great burgers. Thick juicy and unctuous. Love that you can chose the toppings.
Fries a just thickly covered with a powered mix to make them 'Cajun'ok if you like that kind of thing.
I thought my milkshake was pretty poor. It wasn't even cold so I guess no ice-cream in it.
B. M.
This place had a service that allowed me and my family to have a pleasant experience. For some reason the refill machine failed and I was offered, not only the refund of my drinks, but also drinks of my choice for free! Also, the music was a bit too loud and we asked if they could kindly lower it down, which they promptly conceded! The staff are indeed friendly and helpful. Very good quality burgers and chips as well. Nice location and view over St Pancras Station.
Y. C.
Burgers: both bun bread and meats are dry. Nothing special about their burgers. The plus points are 1.choose many toppings as you want 2.crispy bacon is really CRISPY.
Fries :Worth to pop in for it. Remember to order spicy flavour(it's not hot),make them worth the price.
Over all, it's not bad taste, however it cost me around £10.its pricey for fast food, you can have something better around this price.
J. E.
I had a big sack of chips and now I'm full.
C. C.
Staff where helpful and genuinely interested and concerned. Extremely helpful, and patient always on their toes, you feel valued, and treated as such, unlike McDonalds where u are just a number. Food was exquisitely fresh, tasty and unbelievably fast even under immensely busy situations didn't even get to to fill my drink and it was ready!
Avoid KFC and McDonald's walk the extra 20 feet and go here.
A. D.
The Bacon Cheese Burger was delicious.
The Grilled Cheese was very good.
Cajun Fries were delicious too.
Should have shared 1 fries as there was too much for 1 portion each.
The quality of the food is top.
The choices are vast.
The price is small.
M. d. P.
Very nice use of the location (in an intersection) making it all glass. The food is quite good for fast food. Just be careful, even the normal burger is double, so don't order too many.
A. T.
Best burger I've ever had. Fast service, polite staff.
M. M.
Nice food and the chef was wrilly kind of making us a new order(for free) because i’ve ordered by mistake the wrong items. The driver was wrilly profesional
C. B.
Very nice place!
The staff is kind, service is quick. Takes a bit longer in rush hours but just as long as anywhere else that's good. So.o recommend this place at any time of day.
Tables are cleaned regularly and there's alot of seating available.
Many options of burgers and its affordable, good quality and tastes great. I go here alot. The cajun fries are amazing, better than peri fries at nandos as these are real fries, from proper potatoes !
A. H.
Great food friendly staff 💯% well worth the money
M. E.
Good place, gets crowded easily due to size and location.
O. B.
Awesome, as always! I've been to Five Guys in Leeds and Metro Centre Gateshead but this Five Guys' always seems to have the largest regular fries! Burger was spot on, staff behind the counter were well friendly too! A credit to the chain!
D. P.
The patties are good quality and tasty, the buns are nice, plenty of choice of fillings. Quite expensive for a burger though, especially as you may have to wait a while for your order to be prepared. Good for infrequent visits if quiet, but waiting around becomes tedious, and similar quality burgers available elsewhere.
G. L.
Good quality burgers that you can customise to your liking and plenty of fries per portion. Excellent drinks machine. This is about as close to America as you can get, but I still think Wendy's in the US is better
P. S.
One of my favourite 5 guys store in London, staff is really polite and skilled, best chips ( considering all the 5guys that I've tried), I'll go back for sure.
M. Y.
One of my all time favorite burger places. Great taste and great atmosphere.
Tip: don't get a large fries, they are. Very generous and already fill them up so much that a small or medium is a better option.
A. A.
The best burgers you can eat 😁
M. B.
Always a quality burger, amazing fries, free topings and outstanding milkshakes!
What's not to like?!
Definitely get the regular double pattie burger and skip the bacon and cheese as with topings "all the way", it's already a fantastic burger and needs nothing else.
It's normally quick and quite a relaxed atmosphere. It's probably not a place to hangout for a long time.
j. w.
Jamal is an absolute star best welcome ever
L. J.
One of the better ones!
J. H.
Delicious food as always!
E. M.
Good burger, nice vibe, a bit expensive but you do get unlimited drinks.
M. W.
First time ordering online and got everything much quicker than in-store. Friendly staff.
A. W.
Great food, good value
E. R.
Excellent customer service
P. S.
One of my favourite 5 guys store in London, staff is really polite and skilled, best chips ( considering all the 5guys that I've tried), I'll go back for sure.
R. C.
Expensive! Although portions are large and the restaurant is quite modern and airy.
Z. A.
Good service delicious food nice customer services ❤️❤️❤️
G. D.
Super fast service. Amazing taste and Doesn't taste like "fast food". Small portions of burgers or dogs. But huge portions of chips. Share a regular fries and split a drink (they're refillable) and double up on the meat part.
N. L.
The best place to end a night out in the big smoke! Amazing burgers and the cajun fries are very tasty you just get a lot so if not hungry only order a small. It is pricey but you get what you pay for!!
S. D.
Really nice and clean, love the location deep into the crossroad. 4 stars for being somewhat expensive.
L. S.
Great food, Great value for drinks
Great seating area, Friendly staff.
Downside - Fries are expensive!!! £5 for large? Not even that many!
Music played was way too loud - Could not hear them call our order.
Otherwise great!
J. P.
Was recommended Five Guys by a British lad (being Australian I had never heard of the chain before).
I ventured in, ordering a hamburger 'all the way' with fries and an oreo shake.
I am certain I now have diabetes but it was so worth it! This needs to come down under!
C. C.
Shoutout to Bimh, Fabio and Antonio for making our evening! 5* service, the best burger and fries I’ve ever had in my entire life. Blown away, thank you.
J. L.
Food is very good cooked to order
S. O.
Excellent customer service from Jamelle and Leshante
D. N.
One of the best Fast Food Restaurant Burgers.
W.
You get the best chocolate milkshake's here... :)
E. ע. S. ש.
Five guys is always a cool place to go. This restaurant is in a good location, and has the same decor as all the others. The food is decent. What they do, they do well. But deselection is a bit limited, especially for vegetarians, and the price is a bit higher than I'd like.
P. A.
Although I was there for a stressful time, the staff had everything under control and the quality didn't suffer at all.
T. Y.
Given that this is located in one of the busiest spots in London, there are nowhere near enough places to sit and eat. The food itself is great (although it may be expensive compared to other fast food places). Wide range of burgers and generous portions, just be prepared to either wait for a seat, or be willing to take your food elsewhere.
O. B.
Great food in a busy area of London, very convenient for those about to board or just getting off the train. Good service. £19 for a burger, fries and a milkshake is a bit steep but it's a treat!
L. F. P.
That's the best five guys in London, they got nice food and the coolest stuff.
W. C.
The best burger and fries you will ever have bar none. This isn't McDonalds and you are paying a lot more but when you get your food you realise why. Whatever size fries you think you need it's probably worth downgrading a size as they are pretty generous. The milkshakes are amazing too.
O. M.
Best restaurant in London . Must try !!!
Jamaele is the best !!!!
T. F.
As always the best burgers around. Consistent quality every time
M. A.
Excellent fast food. Good burger, served quickly despite the queue. Fries were amazing.
Even the coke was excellent, better than I'd usually expect from a freestyle machine.
M. P.
Good burger and delicious cajun fries but overpriced. We paid almost 19£ for a drink + cheeseburger + fries, without the table service. Other hamburger restaurant in London would offer the table service plus the home-made hamburger as well so Five Guys is definitely not a good value for money..... only stopped there for convenience

It is difficult to innovate in the fast food / burger-and-fries area, but Five Guys manage with custom made burgers, free-flow drinks, and more. The food is much superior to most other fast restaurants, including supposedly 'gourmet' burger chains.
Great location next to the train station and a bright and airy room.
Loud noisy music discourages you from lingering, which may be the only downside here.
Currently has free peanuts which is great (unless you have an allergy in which case you are advised to stay well clear)

My favourite burger place, and made on the spot, fresh. If you haven't been to a 5 Guys before, then you absolutely must (assuming you like burgers). One downside with this branch, however, is that it was so busy to the extent we could not find a place to sit and had to awkwardly stand until somebody left
M. (.
This is not a fast food restaurant. It's set up that way, but for burger chips and drink, you can pay up to £20.
If this was a sit down restaurant you would be pretty happy with the price for the quality of the food.
Burgers are really good and the fries are brilliant.

Fries where dry. Burger patty had no flavour
S. C.
Burgers were beautifully cooked and the idea of personalising your own toppings is great. The Cajun spiced fries were some of the nicest I've had. However £19 for a burger chips and a coke is a bit too much for a Yorkshireman to pay regularly, so I think this will be an occasional treat.

Had my first hamburger in the belief this was a kind of family run business, but I realised only later this is a chain. But it hasv all the credential to be a very good place surpassing my love for burger king. The only negative note is the poor guy shouting the order number, which could be easily avoided with an LCD screen, though I guess it's me being too modern here.

A taste of home away from home. If you are coming from the states and looking for that "American" meal, Five Guys has your back. Everything about the restaurant makes you feel like you are in a slice of the US while overseas and it's comforting. On top of that, the food tastes just as it does back home, which is even better. Definitely recommend if you're feeling a bit homesick.

Shoutout to Bimh, Fabio and Antonio for making our evening! 5* service, the best burger and fries I’ve ever had in my entire life. Blown away, thank you.
D. D.
Fantastic burger joint, the flavours are mouth watering from their burgers and their beef dogs, a heads up if you order large chips the massive portion is enough to feed 3 adults. Real nice chips though.

Five guys in king's cross is most of the time very busy. But the service is good and the wait is not bad given the pressure of customers. We struggled to find a place to sit as it was almost 100% occupancy. Lovely atmosphere. I especially …

Amazing service
P. E.
Staff are friendly and food is good, but expensive.
k. h.
Best burgers ever
A. J.
Good burgers but the service needs to get better. Ordered my own and waited for nearly 30 mins only to find that it was ready long back. Should have a call out system or a display to inborn that your order is ready. …

There were eight of us all together. We placed our order. Fine.
When we received our order they had placed them in several bags with no means of identifying the contents of each one, without removing and unwrapping each burger what should have been very straightforward became unnecessarily complex.
The music so loud you can barely hear the conversation.
Staff well presented and polite.
Some attention to the details mentioned will go a long way to improving customer service and certainly raise them to four stars.
M. F.
All good was great, particularly the fries. Had milkshake and a double cheeseburger with the works. Prompt service and a clean table despite being quite busy. Music ok. Not cheap (£18) for fast food but ok as a treat.
P. T.
So so good jamele= excellent service
C. D.
Awesome burgers. Pretty quick service.
P. W.
It's a Five Guys in a busy part of town. If you like that sort of thing you'll love this place. Slightly shocked to discover the milk shakes contain over 600 calories and 80g of carbs...better go for a run.
C. S.
Milkshakes are excellent! The burgers are big, but greasy. The fries are, unfortunately, not crunchy enough for me. Ordering online is a great option as well!
H. M.
Burgers burgers burgers what else do you need to know? Oh yeh, add any extras you like, it's all included! Pricey but decent taste. Peanut butter milkshake is definitely worth a try, warning may contain nuts!
M. T.
The burgers are OK, but the prices are insane for what you're given. The only thing thats actually amazing is the milkshakes, thick and beautiful, but again, £5 for a milkshake, even for a great one, is a tiny bit much.
A. E.
Just like the amazing burgers you have gotten back in the USA. Excellently deployed franchise. Only thing missing from the experience was the boxes of peanuts to treat yourself to as you wait for you perfect greasebomb of a burger.
d. b.
Beat fries I've ever had shakes were amazing burgers was a burger and the while package was really expensive for what is a burger place but did really enjoy just I dont think its realistically priced for a.average family
R. M.
Bit more pricey than other fast food franchises you may be familiar with. But talk about a happy tummy! Never left a 5g's unsatisfied. Not for those on a diet. Banana milkshake is a work of art but don't drink it before your meal or you'll fill yourself up.
D. R.
Bit overpriced for a fast food chain to be honest but decent burgers. Shakes are too sweet for me. Large portion of chips is quite large (0.5 kg probably at least)
K. C. B.
Some of the best burgers you can buy. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon, but the till staff were incredibly friendly and although it took a while for my meal to be ready - everyone was working really hard.
K.
Burger was good, juicy + flavourful but the cajun fries were a bit salty. However the combo did work well together. A little bit pricey on its own.
B. A.
My favourite fast food joint. Starting to think they put addictive substances in the burgers.. i genuinly crave burgers 'specifically ' from five guys almost once or twice a week. Totally worth the calories!
J. O.
The food is good. And that's the problem, for the amount of money they're charging food can't be just "Good". In other words, it's overpriced. The portions are quite generous, especially when it comes to fries. Service was great.
A. H.
I tried a veggie burger which turned out to be the same as a normal burger but without the burger, I complained saying that I expected a veggie pattie which I thought is fair enough as most veggie burgers in all places I've been too provide a vegetarian pattie, they gave us a free milkshake as compensation which was acceptable, however I recommend five guys provide a more substantial veggie alternative as apposed to simple a burger without the burger.
k. f.
Great service, great food! Amazing and friendly staff.
A. P.
My first visit to Five Guys. More pricey than other hamburger multinational chains but these are proper "American" portions and great tasting food! Free roasted peanuts too.
J. H.
I've been to several Five Guys restaurants around the country, and it's my goto chain for fast food. Unfortunately, this branch was the worst I've been to. Unlike other branches, this one had music playing so loud that the staff couldn't hear my order, forcing me to point at pictograms on the counter like a deaf-mute.
The food was the usual high quality, but unfortunately I got regular onions and mushrooms rather than the grilled I'd requested, likely due to the unfortunate incompetence of the person who took my order.
D.
The burger buns was a tad soggy with all the toppings I had on it but it was delicious as were the fries and the cherry milkshake. It's a little on the pricy side for what it is (especially the milkshakes) but it tastes much better than the competition so I guess you get what you pay for!
H. d. (.
The burgers don't seem to have as much taste as they did when they first opened their original store. The place was very busy and you had to wait for a table which is ok but not when your meals so so. The french fries are really nice
J. H.
Amazing burger, incredible milkshake, brilliant service, okay chips, extortionate price.
Whilst the food was great and all, £40 for 2 burgers, chips and milkshakes is more expensive than some VERY nice restaurants.
Z. A.
All the way. Love the food. It's consistently good. Especially the cajun fries and serve yourself soft drink refills. *****
But
the loos are consistently filthy. Every visit. So avoid needing a wee and you'll be fine! *
M. R.
Really great service I've come to expect from Five Guys. Although I came at a busy time they were very efficient. The only downside was some tables were full of rubbish which there was a lot of. But aside from that amazing tasting burgers and chips. Always too full afterwards
j. d.
If you look past the fact it's a bit pricey you realise this is the best burger place ever invented. Hands down greatest ever. The make your own burger menu kills the competition. Portions are massive. And don't get me started on the milkshakes. 5 guys are killing it. Bravo
C. F.
I like the burgers, milkshakes and portion sizes. Its gourmet fast food which is great quality, great location too.
A. J.
Besy Burger I had ever in London, value for money, American Size Burger 🤗 (The normal cheese burger comes in double size 😋 for 8 pounds only ).. the french fries was super tasty and fresh.. the aotomesphare and sitting area was nice as well, highly recommended ✌️👌
T. C.
Love the bunless burger option, and the full customisation of filings. There's a huge number of sugar-free drink options as well. Be aware that it's more expensive than your typical fast-food; you pay for quality, but it's worth it.
M. B.
This is by far the best Burger chain in and around London. Food cooked to perfection with unlimited options as to how you'd like your burger.
M. t.
I hadn't had a takeaway burger for a looong time and had never been to Five Guys. Although taken aback by the price of a burger now all is forgiven as it was a pretty good proper burger "all the way" (which means loads of free toppings eg mushrooms and onions and salad and pickles and sauce). I'd go back again if I need a meat fix on the run (and you would NEVER find me in a maccy ds)
a. p.
They have my favourite burger in the entire universe. Since you can create your own burger, I already found my perfect one; with mushroom, bbq sauce and all. The cajun style fries is also my favourite.
O. D.
Do they have the best burgers. Alas, yes. Please remember to visit your loanshark beforehand, or sell a kidney on the black market to afford it.
It's also probably worth it just because they have a sign on the wall telling you where today's potatoes are from and NGL the comical image of someone updating the Potato Board daily never fails to make me smile.
A. E.
Just a normal burger with aweful fries
" rotten blackish fried potatoes "
V. P.
Good location ,and good food as always
M. D.
This specific brand in king' s cross is really nice: it is spacious, perfect for a large group, well decorated and the staff is always polite and efficient although very busy. Still this is a fast food restaurant so you should not expect anything amazing from the food which is still nice and affordable
M. W.
I just bought an electronic cigarette in the shop next doors and got hungry so came to the restaurant for a refreshing meal. The service is really nice. They have insanely good vegetarian burger! Highly recommend
J. P.
I enjoy 5 Guys but I do wish they had a kid's meal. We had a two year old with us and we had to purchase a small cheese burger which cost almost £5.00 with no drink
L. H.
Fast to be served, lovely and warm too. Possibly a little overpriced but I guess that's London.
C. S.
Great burgers and fries. Milkshake was epic. Having said that, this is the most expensive fast food I’ve ever eaten. Would I go back? Probably. Be prepared to wait for your food though. Gets very busy!
J. “. B.
Great customised burgers from an American burger chain. Massive variety of fizzy drinks. New restaurant, close to King's Cross means it's very busy pretty much all the time. If you want the same Experience, try the one on Upper Street.
S. H.
Yes very good service from jamele
A. C.
Good burger but not worth the prize. You pay for every single extra you add your cheeseburger or bacon burger that are priced over 8£. Chips are good, but definetly there is a lot better in many places in London, and at a cheaper price too
C. T.
Very good products, great staff but things like Coke, etc very over priced.
L. A.
Burger was nice but not massively flavoursome, the pickles helped. Large fries were absolutely massive! Go small. Very expensive for fast food but was good quality.
K. G.
Fries are delicious. Burgers are very good although I prefer Shake Shack. Food is prepared fairly quick. Quite pricey though!
H. A. G.
The milkshakes are delightful, and if you want to try something new, you can add bacon on it (it is not a quite big change, suddenly you will taste salty and crispy while you are drinking you milkshake). The burgers are not so good, most of them overcooked.
