Reviews of Flora Indica

Amazing little find and absolutely first class delicious food. Stylish decor and 100% recommend.
S. J. B.
Absolutely adorable place! Great menu! The beef and chicken are halal! They will also accommodate you with your requests. The service was fab and I’d definitely be visiting again. I had no idea this gem existed so close to me!
R. C.
Went there this evening as it was near my hotel and, living in France, it's difficult to find good Indian food there.
Flora Indica has a great menu with interesting twists and angles on the regular offerings of most Indian restaurants. It's not a very large restaurant so it has a nice ambience.
I would recommend it strongly although only give it 4 stars as a chair at a neighbouring table (occupied by some Indian guests) was broken!
A. J.
Lovely food and amazing people working there. Portion size can be improved but the taste was impeccable
D. W.
Beautiful decor and fantastic service. But the showstopper is the food: delicious, modern. Absolutely loved it all. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Food was delicious, staff really friendly and great. We have come an hour before closing but still have had perfect meal. We were really satisfied. Thank you so much.

Delicious Indian dishes with great options for vegetarians! The paneer sauces were delicious and the garlic naam too! Same the masalas. The mocktails with mango are also tasty. Great service and atmosphere. They are very busy so i will recommend to book in advance. The inly reason for not giving 5 stars is that the portions are small for the price
R. L.
A hidden gem in London. Definitely worth a visit! One of the best, or maybe even the best Indian food in London. Reasonably priced, good portion, and always ask the waiter for recommendation. I recommend trying this place during lunch time instead as there's lesser crowd.

I know tapas are huge now (well not literally since they're still small... but figuratively) so when I was craving Indian food and noticed this was a tapas restaurant I was a little apprehensive but I went for it anyway. The place itself has a great vibe, awesome for large groups (if you book in advance) or for yourself. Good for that first date 'I'm getting to know you' awkward list of questions you've asked or been asked; heads up as you start to plan your questions save any deep questions for the bar afterwards since there isn't much room between you and the next set of strangers *pro tip*.
I ordered the roti, 12 hr slow braised short rib, salmon, artichoke chaat, slow braised lamb shoulder, and of course naan.
Must have: HOLY SH** the properly named Jerusalem Artichoke Papdi Chaat is something special. It was like a spiritual experience but in my mouth (that sounds much worse than I intended). It covers smell, taste, texture so perfectly in a combination I would have never expected.
The quiet champion here was the lamb shoulder. I got this meal as a hail Mary (not another Jerusalem reference) since I challenged the waiter to give me something that could open my sinuses and fill me with regret in about an hour (you know what I mean). What he brought me was tender, moist (I know most people hate how that word sounds but eh) and flavorful savory dish I had all night (it had a slight kick, not the sinus clearing I requested but it was close)
Must skip: My only criticism is about the 12 hrs slow braised short rib. Now I believe in a slow braise and when you see 12 hours you know this was made with love and there's one thing you absolutely expect, which is the ability to use a spoon to break the meat apart. Unfortunately the meat itself was a little dry so it made it difficult to enjoy the flavors it was topped with. I really do think this dish COULD work but there has to be a better system in place to maintain the moisture in the meat.
My last note before I complete this rant is dedicated to the wait staff. Never underestimate the power a great waitstaff can have on your dining experience. The servers were extremely attentive and seemed to be invested in the restaurant completely. They provided myself and my cousin with a more than welcoming experience and for that I'm eternally grateful.
If you made it to the end of this my first question is why and second just do yourself a favor and book a reservation (or walk in like I did and hope for the best)

Excellent, quality, tasty, spicy, feels exclusive. A great selection of quality vegetarian and non vegetarian Indian cuisine. We arrived at 6pm and the staff wer excellent looking after us and providing us with a lovely meal. The menu stated five courses for £47 we felt like we had about ten courses by the time we had finished. Will definitely be back. The atmosphere was great, the staff attentive and the food was tasty and well presented. The food was brought to our table very quickly too. They also do some great mocktails for those not drinking alcohol. We had the mellow yellow passion fruit and the watermelon mocktail. So if you are in South Kensington and want a relaxed, quality, Indian dining experience Flora Indica comes highly recommended.
J. C.
High end Indian restaurant, serving very elaborate food. The atmosphere is great, and a lot of attention has been put in decorating the place. Nice and friendly service. The food was great, we started with "tapas" style dishes to share which were great, followed by great main courses. Excellent coktails choices, I particularly liked how gin orders are served. They have a home-brewed beer that is very good. Highly recommended!
J. J.
We ate one of the tastiest meals ever here. Beautiful, balanced flavours and excellent service.
M. E.
If you are looking for a place with passion for Indian food then this is the right place for you! The employees are caring and make sure you are always feeling comfortable. They are quick on cleaning between your dishes, so you always have a clean table if you look for spending more time there.
This resturant does great works when it comes to putting the flavors of the ingredients together in their final product. The food taste excellent and they did the exact same with theirs drinks and tea's! This is one of my better culinary experiences! 😍
T. V.
Great place for Indian tapas evening. Very extensive menu. You can choose from tapas, set menu or full dishes menu. Very nice and cozy athmosphere. The owner himself gives a lot of character to the place. Place itself looks amazing.
C. T.
A hidden gem! The whole group were impressed. Beautiful interiors, great cocktails and then the food... wow! Make sure you order the cheese nann.
א. ר. ש.
This is the best indian restaurant in London.
We got a very warm welcome by the main cheff. Friendly and personal service. Very tasty with a flavor of home made food which is important for me when abroad with kids. My 12 year old, a picky eater found the food very tasty and adjustable to her sensitive taste buds. I am definitely coming back. Just as I heard all the other guests say this evening.
Besides the delicious food, the restaurant is decorated beautifully and the atmosphere is great.
H. B.
Beautiful decor, and nice twists on classic dishes. Overall, good, however, it did not meet the high expectations created by all of the hype. Very mild flavours, expected more punch. Had the monkfish - delicate fish Wich was a tad overcooked-duck leg, cheese naan, fragrant rice, lentils, bellini. Nice but not mind blowing. And it's expensive, yes, it's London after all...
G. M.
Extremely friendly, high-end ambience but very reasonable prices given the decor and service. Excellent food - consider getting a few small plates rather than the mains, which are only very slightly bigger than the sides! The cocktails are inventive and delightful.
H. K.
Delicious Indian food with really fresh ingredients. Loved the interiors of the space with the iconic blue phone box! Can't wait to go back, been thinking about the red Leicester naans since.
S. C.
Excellent in all aspects: delicious food, great service and charming environment. Well done team Flora Indica!
N. W.
Great fusion. Recommend the paneer due to the twist - thin banana chips creating texture contrast. Good service and decor. Really good choice for a date night.
C. D.
Honestly the best place we’ve found in a long time. The food is outstanding and service is great. If there were more stars we would give them! Definitely go try it, you will not regret it!!
M. T.
We just had a fantastic meal from Flora Indica. I think this is the best Indian restaurant in London! They recently opened for delivery and you should definitely give it a try!
The food is absolutely delicious with such amazing flavours. This is also reasonably priced with good portions. Highly recommended!
L. M.
Enjoyed our dinner last evening. The decor is pretty and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious.
B. F.
Dishes were good but nothing special. For the amount you get, in my opinion overpriced
L. I.
Amazing food and drinks, a definite repeat if we are in the area.
C. R.
Good Indian food in terms of taste.. quantity and portion of food poor compared to other fine dining indian restaurants in London..
G. S.
Really delicious and different Indian cuisine. Enjoyed a real variety of their small plates, lots of choices Excellent cocktails and service.
A. S.
Really enjoyed the food and drinks. Fish should have been better based on the expectations but the rest was very well made and tasted amazing:)
G. T.
Simply outstanding.
A great little space, decorated in Victorian meets ‘steam punk’ style.
The food is phenomenal, great size plates designed to share so you can sample many of the flavours.
Excellent service, the staff were attentive and genuine.
Also, a great cocktail lounge hidden underneath. Highly recommend.
C. W.
Superb curry - the best I have had. Would highly recommend the duck and also the cheese naan breads. Look forward to returning soon.
J. H.
Fabulous meal. Lovely staff. Even the other dinners were off the scale. The ex Spanish ambassador's wife was a hoot. Lovely to meet her Ms Armstrong.
R. K.
Innovative modern Indian with lots of vegetarian options. Plays on traditional dishes with new and locally available ingredients. The dishes demonstrate a real understanding of which flavours go together.
B. J.
One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Food is just great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
M. B.
Came into the restaurant with a high expectation having seen many positive reviews and the restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food is uses traditional Indian flavours with a twist offering fantastic share plates and main courses. Overall my meal was outstanding it really is a fantastic spot to go enjoy great food and atmosphere. I will definitely go back in again.
D. W.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Attentive and excellent service. Something on the menu for everyone. Both my father and I love lamb and agreed that the lamb chops were the best lamb we had ever tasted. If I didn’t live in Canada I would be a regular customer. I recommend it in the highest regard.
L. S.
Lunch with a friend. We ordered two small dishes and two curries. Each dish surprisingly good and nicely presented. Nice ambience and bar area downstairs is great. They will start serving brunch soon and we will definitely give it a try. Arguably 4 stars instead of 5 as it is a bit expensive but a great place for a nice meal.
B. M.
Went there on a Sunday night. The food was amazing. Away was our waiter and he was very welcoming and fun. Had the one of the best Gin and tonics Ive ever had! The Chicken Tikka is amazing. Get the small plates as appetizers. Easy walk form Earl’s Court Station.
F. N.
One of the most wonderful meals I have ever eaten. The spicing was perfectly balanced, multi-dimensional, complex. The meat was delicious and tender. The favours were nirvana. The atmosphere relaxing, generous (you had your own space), the staff friendly and helpful.
S. K.
Was a bit disappointed. The interior is fantastic, and the server was attentive. However, the portion size was very small (even for the main dishes) and taste was only mediocre. The server also took down my order wrong - I ordered an appetizer but I was given a main dish with a similar name (despite the fact that I pointed to the dish on the menu when ordering).
N. M.
The food was amazing and so was the ambience. This place a most visit for anyone looking for a top notch experience
D. K.
This is an outstanding Indian restaurant. Possibly the best food of any I have been to. The thing that sets this restaurant aside from others is its short, simple yet well-executed menu. I think there were only 8 mains, 6 sides and the same number of desserts. This approach clearly allows the restaurant to perfect what they prepare. The result is a set of very tasty, well balanced/well spiced dishes. The decor is very elegant, quirky and comfortable. Dr Who would feel at home here 😉
A.
This was my third visit to Flora Indica, but my first taste of their new menu. The food is absolutely delicious and the spicing in particular is amazing. Cocktails and atmosphere also lovely. The only downside is that it is pricey for the portions which are very small. It seems to be more expensive than the previous menu. However, there seems to be a good value lunch deal and I will be going back for that!
A. D.
This place has been a two minute walk from our flat for the last year and we only just got around to coming here. We are so gutted as we move away soon! The food is simply amazing and the staff are the nicest people. Clearly a lot of pride in their work and have no issue in telling you about other fantastic places to eat great Indian food.
Flora Indica is amazing! Go!
M. D.
Amazing food! The wife says "Best curry I've ever had." Small menu means they can focus on just a few things and do them exceptionally well. Friendly staff, and fun quirky steampunk decor as well. Highly recommend.
Y.
I loved it! Went here with my mum and had a lovely time. Delicious food, great atmosphere (really beautiful theme and design!). I'm vegetarian and I had a lovely paneer dish. Spoke with head chef sam who is a lovely person and a great chef.
Reasonable prices, high quality food and hospitality! Would definitely go again next time I'm in the uk!
B. M.
I went for dinner with a friend last week by chance really. Well I can tell you, I do not regret it! Unusual Indian restaurant to say the least! First, great décor and atmosphere and the food, inventive, full of flavours with delicate textures and great presentation, a delight! The wine list is comprehensive and cocktails a must! Highly recommended!
S. H.
Do NOT go if you’re hungry! Very tasty food but extremely small portions and expensive for what you get.
D. E. L.
Great cocktails, great service and amazing food. I had the monkfish and shrimp curry and couldn’t help but say mmmmm at every bite. We got there early at 6pm so were lucky enough to have the window seat. I didn’t like desserts as much but it’s my personal taste ( I like rich desserts and hate cloves). Loved this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone coming to London.
V. M.
Absolutely amazing place. The food, atmosphere and service was just lovely. The place had good food and even grand selection of drink. I was stunned with how many vegetarian options they have. If are vegan it would be challenging especially if you’re a desert fan or are trying to stay away from lactose. Apart from that it was lovely. Would recommended to everyone except vegans or someone with severe milk allergies.
L. C.
Service was good and the food was traditional Indian curries with a twist. Highlight was my partner's monkfish and prawn main. The starters and dessert weren't as good but still worth a try. Worth checking out if in the area.
M. D.
We went for dinner to this place after passing by and checking put their menu. Indian food that was not better than other indian restaurants in the area, but a bit pricey for the food portions and quality. Drinks were ok but in general we were a bit disappointed because considering the price of the dishes we were expecting a higher level of elaboration and flavors.
M. G.
Really tasty food, great service, and a lovely aesthetic. Would recommend
L. D.
The food was very delicious. We had a great evening. Definitely a recommendation!
S. H.
Food is definitely something special & different from other Indian cuisines. Had a lovely yellow fin tuna small plate to start, however all the portions are tiny & food & drinks are expensive.
Cheese naan made with Red Leicester is beautiful. Definitely a must have if you go.
r. c.
Rightly counted amongst the best Indian restaurants in London. The food is amazing with a little twist and nice fusion of flavors. Has a lot of options for vegetarians and serves soothing mocktails too. Highly recommended for a special dinner date!
A. L.
The food was mediocre at best. We were with a group and we were served very small portions to share and the dishes were inconsistent. They really did not take into consideration food intolerances. The chef did come out and talk to us but still it made no difference. Overall I wouldn't go back or recommend.
A. A.
Though I was positively surprised by the taste of the new, sort of modernised, -limited- Indian dishes recipes, I cannot say I'm entirely satisfied with the experience. I was actually looking for an authentic Indian restaurant which was not the case here. The ambience needs improvement as the space is very limited in such a way that it feels overcrowded.
A. W.
Fantastic food!! The chicken tikka masala is great, and the monkfish/prawns dish was excellent. They charge for rice, though (same price as an order of naan, and each order of rice is quite small), which felt a bit like we were being nickel-and-dimed. I'd give it 5 stars on quality/taste of food, and probably 3 stars on the value. Service was excellent, as was the decorations and overall ambience. I highly recommend! :)
M. G.
Good food but incredibly small portions. You need to order several plates to fill your stomach. Our curry had literally 4 cubes of chicken and it's supposed to be a main course. Overall okish but I won't come back I'm afraid.
N. T. D.
Great quality, cozy atmosphere, very kind staff!
V. H.
A serendipitous treat. We had eaten here before and came in on a whim. Went for the tasting menu which was superb - well sourced ingredients, deliciously prepared with attentive service. Do go for the accompanying wines and try their pudding wine too! Will be coming back.
A. C.
Amazing, did tasting menu. Gourmet Indian food and very creative, modern decor and intimate setting for great conversation. Owner of the restaurant checked how our experience was on the way out. Experience was phenomenal.
P. R.
Modern Indian food can be tough to pull off - however, Flora Indica surpasses every expectation in this regard, serving delightfully presented food with well crafted flavors. The small plates are designed to showcase traditional Indian ingredients and recipes with a twist: inventive, colorful and wildly flavorful dishes - a unique tasting experience - in a polished, subtly lit, and gorgeously decorated space, with an ambience that evokes memories of Victorian-era India. The staff are attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the food being served, providing thoughtful suggestions along the way. While everything we tried was excellent, a few exceptional dishes: the lamb rogan josh, the crispy millet bread served with a chilli, garlic and truffle oil dip, and the bitter gourd with spices and raisins. The drinks are fabulous as well - try the Bombay Blossom, or ask the bartender to create one to suit your mood and tastes! Highly recommended!
A. K.
beautiful new fine dining restaurant, gorgeous delicate modern British food with an Indian twist. Great mix of flavours & textures on your plate. You will not be bored or dissapointed. The waiters know their stuff as well so don't be shy to ask them about the complexity of the dishes.
You have to try the fig & custard dessert. I think I am going to be dreaming about it from now on... :D
J. G.
Maybe my expectations were too high but left unimpressed. Food was admittedly great, esp the salmon and banana chips. But menu was quite boring and didn’t have any unique twist to it, esp the Mains. Service was also abrupt and didn’t feel genuine, too much of “sales” mentality. Interior didn’t feel as cozy as in the pictures
N. S.
We had an amazing interesting evening where we get in touch with absolutely new flavors from India. We will come back!
C. S.
Absolutely amazing meal here! We each had a small plate, the venison sheek and tandoor salmon and then the chicken tikka main dish with sides. Was genuinely one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant, quick and efficient service and delicious Indian food. If you get chance, definitely make a stop here!
M. W.
My wife and I had the tasting menu here last weekend, and we thought it was fantastic. Really tremendous flavours for all courses. The signature cocktails are also great! Highly recommended!
A. B.
Unbelievable experience of flavors and aromas.
The rich colors of Indian cuisine without the heaviness at the end of your meal. The chicken Tikka withe the bergamot flavor and a hot spicy finish was to die for. There cocktails are not to be overlooked. The Mojito was very"rummy"and paired really well with the food. The service is first class without being pretentious.
M. J.
Some of the best curry I have had, in London or elsewhere. Somewhat small menu, but I think this allows them to only do a few things, and do them very well. Decent portion size, a starter and main w/ rice and naan was plenty of food.
A.
Great service and unpretentious atmosphere, serving tasty quality food and refreshing cocktails!
Loved the homemade bread and fresh butter, the pigeon appetizer was so tasty, my rack of lamb was tender and juicy, and the dessert of figs was deeelish!
Great bartenders make some inventive drinks!First time, but will definately come back!
M. H.
The best Indian food I've had in a long time, probably ever! The food, atmosphere, Deepak and the team - all first class! Great to live close by - will definitely be back!
D. W.
Very smart restaurant. In this case "modern" seemed to mean small, and while the quality of the dishes was good we paid the same for a tiny chicken dish as we did for an entire meal with beer on Brick Lane (I appreciate they're not the same but here the naan was £4 and unashamedly tiny).
It also felt a bit like we were being upsold. It was supposed to be trapas style, but that felt more like an excuse to charge more.
J. S.
The food was very tasty and the staff was very helpful. I have never eaten this type of interesting nan/bread with molten cheese and poppy seeds which tasted delicious. The paneer dish was awesome as well. The deserts- faluda kulfi and shahi tukda were amazing. I will definitely recommend my friends.
D. G.
Great Indian in a cosy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and the service was fantastic. I will go back as soon as I can. Thoroughly recommend.
M. B.
My family and I tried 10 different dishes. Each one was fantastic. The wait staff were very attentive and accommodating. The owner was engaging and delightful.
P. F.
This is the place to come for interesting, quirky surroundings; delicious food and first class service! Every aspect of our meal was perfect and the welcome couldn't have been warmer.
S. M.
Delicious food and friendly service. We ordered lots of small sharing plates. They brought them all out at once, which was a bit much and slightly too bad as it meant some were getting cold. Other than that, great experience.
D. S.
Really good and quite unknown judging by how quiet at lunchtime. Best lamb curry I've had in a while. Brilliant chilli and garlic Naan. Quite quirky decor but friendly ,attentive service.
S. D.
We had dinner here and all I can say is how amazing and delicious the food was and the staff were just so amazing and friendly. Can't fault anything about this place.
We enjoyed ourselves with different and small plates and dishes. We will be back for sure.
F. M.
Charming Indian Lounge with sharing plates and more
P. M.
Good atmosphere, nice personnel, specially the chef. The food was very good, but we weren't too impressed about the fusion aspect. Would've rather had more indian spices.
j. e.
We had a takeaway this evening which was outstanding. Do not miss the crispy Jerusalem Artichokes, but it was all very good indeed
B. M.
Delicious. Great environment and decor. If you like Gin, they claim to have a huge collection of labels! But more importantly, the food was excellent. I'll be back.
K. A.
the artichoke chat here was crazy crazy good
R. u. D.
After all the ' tourist traps ' in the neighborhood this was a great experience. Can't visit England without eating indian food. Very tasty, friendly people, relaxed atmosphere. +1 for the music (Fela Kuti).
C. P.
Amazing food! Amazing service! Amazing cocktails!
O. A.
Delicious! Nice restaurant, interesting interior, good and tasty food
B. H.
Brilliant atmosphere makes up for a great but imperfect meal. The masala is too sweet, and roti is blackened and bland. I recommend the red Leicester naan.
M. L.
Decent little fusion Indian with a nifty range of dishes - more inventive than the ubiquitous Indian menu. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, local clientele.
K. C.
Beautiful Indian fusion food , loved all the vegetarian dishes I had , that okra dry was really nice , ambience is quiet nice, friendly staff , really easy to get to from earls court , will definitely recommend and I'll visit again !!
a. r.
Food was really good. Staff were very friendly. The menu was a little confusing but the staff helped me make my choice. All in all really good and would absolutely go back when I can! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
M. N.
Food quality is amazing and fantastic service. Generally it's on the pricy side (approx £40/head not including wine for a good fill) but the food is so good it doesn't matter.
A. T.
Love this place! The food is excellent
L. T.
Amazing! Great host and amazing food. Love it xx
M. m.
Nice restaurant. We had a lovely meal there. The inside is not quite as we would expect in an Indian restaurant but the food was quite good.
N. F. G.
With nice ambience and good food.very responsive staff. Appreciate the time spent here
S. M.
Food was phenomenal, service was amazing, if you’re unsure of what to order or need some suggestions they are more then willing to help! Clean plates all around!
W. J.
Superb curry, fantastic beer, lovely venue/atmosphere. Actually a little worried about going back to my long-standing local favourite for fear that's its nowhere near as good...
T. P.
It is a high level of Indian cuisine. Service is also great as well as modern design. We enjoyed everything
S. A.
We went as a group for our christmas dinner, Good restaurant, but was costly. Food is good but not very authentic Indian taste. Good staff.
Z.
The food was delicious, I had lamb rogan josh, but also really small. Could have happily eaten twice as much!
D. T.
This is not your cheapo curry joint where you go to stuff up before your saturdaynight bender. This is where you go to be amazed by every single bite you take. I was actually looking for ways to lick my plate clean without being noticed...
K.
Very good service and tasty food! Like the decoration and romantic atmosphere. Excellent cocktails as well
S. R.
Indian dishes with a twist.
S. K.
Decent food but a bit over priced and lacks atmosphere. The food isn’t authentic but more fusion.
J. M.
Very good food , wonderful location and decoration inside, a bit expensive but in relation to the standards they are proposing.
M. K.
Really lovely food. Fantastic flavours in both food and cocktail form. I shall be back!
R. G.
Absolutely the best Indian food I have ever eaten! Lamb Rojan Josh was simply superb!
S. B.
Oringal and very tasty Indian food. Slightly pricey, but a cut above most other Indian restaurants.
J. R.
Excellent meal and service. Extremely tasty, friendly environment, Saeed was great. Overall, very happy.
I. H.
Wonderful authentic Indian food in a stylish setting with friendly service. We will be back soon.
P. D.
Cant find a fault. Fine food , fine people and fine surroudings Wish them well as a deserved reward. Thoroughly recommend.
Best in area.
R. P.
Interesting food, drink & decor plus good service too. If I was into Indian food, I'd probably give it 5 stars...
F. W.
Very expensive for small portions, untrained waiters and mediocre meat quality, but otherwise quite tasty
H. A.
Amazing food! Makes sense that this is one of the 7 best Indian Restaurants in London.😋
R. S.
Over priced for what the food was. Cassava papad were not cassava at all...we knew as we are Indian. Still paid up and left
N. W.
First class food. Loved the signature cocktails as well. Planning to go back soon.
P. K.
It's more a bar than a restaurant, but the food was very decent for late dining. We were glad it was open so late!
E. a.
The taste is great and the prices are acceptable. Friendly service and quiet ambience. Definitely going again soon.
i.
Really fantastic food! One of the best tasting curries I’ve had in London!
R. S.
The creamy duck curry was surprisingly delicious! A must have on the menu.
S. M.
Good ambiance and good food but tapas size and very pricy!
J. J.
Absolutely excellent, can't fault it in any way, highly recommend this restaurant
J. N.
Friendly staff. Great chicken marsala. I ended up ordering two servings

Amazing food and service. This is a place that should be in your regular rotation. Go!
J. H.
Very good restaurant, with a very good service. Try the tasting menu.
3. U.
Outstanding decor and surroundings, they must have spent a bomb on the place, staff were really cool, go

Wonderful tasting food and excellent service. We had all vegetarian options. The Kurmure Okra fries were perfectly spiced and would highly recommend. The Papdi Chaat was terrific I really liked the addition of crispy artichoke. The only reason why this is not 5 star is the paneer starter and the paneer main although currently described differently are identical, same sauce, same paneer texture and cooked in the same way, just presented differently. For the main you get 2 pieces of paneer and for the starter you only get 1. As we were sharing we got both paneer dishes and it was really disappointing that this was near identical. For sides the poppy seed and red Leicester cheese naan is a must try, it worked really well with the black lentil and kidney bean makhani. We had mocktails which were a good portion, tasted lovely and refreshing. I recommend and would go.

What a great find! The food was a delicious surprise. They have done an amazing job of taking some traditional flavors and putting a modern twist to it. Everything we tried was bursting with flavors.

(Translated) The food is great, the service impeccable! Definitely order with an appetizer, otherwise the portions may be too small (this is only an indication, not a criticism)

Das Essen ist super, der service tadellos! Auf jeden Fall mit Vorspeise bestellen, sonst sind es evtl. Doch zu kleine Portionen (das nur als Hinweis, keine Kritik)

(Translated) Nice location, very attentive staff, good food and a self-made beer ... We really enjoyed it! I would like to recommend Baby Bitter Gourd Tak a Tak and Paneer Kofta! There is also a large gink menu. Let me know beforehand if you don't want ice cubes ...

(Translated) A simply lovely restaurant. Refined and original cuisine, dishes with a strong but at the same time delicate flavor, also suitable for children. (My daughters ate everything tastefully) Impeccable service, welcoming, but very professional. Great kindness. Elegant Victorian atmosphere studied in every detail, but at the same time warm. The best Indian restaurant in recent years.

Grande gentilezza. Elegante atmosfera vittoriana studiata in ogni dettaglio, ma insieme calda. Il miglior ristorante indiano degli ultimi anni.

(Translated) I confess that I am not the number one fan of Indian food and that I got into fear. But, on the other hand, I confess that comes out quite satisfied of this typical restaurant.
With a typical Indian menu, the truth is that of the various dishes we ordered, they all seemed quite good at taste level, no exaggerated seasoning, nothing weird stuff.
The service is close, careful and always concerned.
The room is large, unobtrusive and allows us to eat with the necessary tranquility, without any mishaps, without having to share our conversation with the table next door.
Clean toilets.
Parking in this area is next to impossible, were it not for London.
(Original)
WC asseados.
Estacionamento nesta zona é quase impossível, não fosse isto Londres.

(Translated) Excessive prices, therefore poor value for money. Certainly this is a sort of Indian "nouvelle cuisine" with very small portions on the menu, surprising and unusual for an Indian restaurant. Only the main course is very well made and finally allows you to return culinary to India. The service is without heat and the decoration of any kind. The bill is therefore salty (150 pounds at 2 for a menu per person and 3 glasses of wine).
(Original)
Prix excessifs, donc mauvais rapport qualité prix.

Alles in allem jederzeit wieder! Und es ist sein 💰 WERT!! Ich kann es nur empfehlen und ja reservieren im voraus wäre nicht schlecht.
