Visited Frenzos Walthamstow branch today, In starters I ordered hummas followed by grilled chicken in main course and Rocher cookie do in dessert. Everything was perfect, esp the grilled chicken was way better than Nandos! (no offense to nandos though, but Frenzos really win here) It was saucy, juicy and cooked to perfection. The dine in area is decent and music choice is good too! Im definitely going again!

This place is honestly underrated in my opinion, simply due to the fact for the amount of people that are sitting in there. The chicken is on point you have a variety of sauces, the flavour is perfect. I love nandos but honestly the price you pay here and the taste of the food , proper quality . The place is very clean has a nice vibe and the interior is nice too. Please I implore everyone to go here It ticked all boxes for me. I haven't even left a review for nanodos yet lol but I felt this honestly deserved it.

Went for dinner with a friend. We had the veggie burgers with peri fries and coleslaw which was lovely. The highlight was the rocher cookie dough which was so rich and yummy- very glad we shared one rather than getting one each! The service was excellent. Thank you so much for a lovely evening

Amazing food and service at Frenzo Walthamstow. The chicken was so succulent and the lamb chops were soft and tender. I love humus and their hummus was the right texture and taste. I loved it and then finished off with chocolate cake and ice cream.

Nandos can be halal and nice BUT This is Excellent and guaranteed HMC Halal. Lovely taste nice and cozy. Succulent to the point spicy taste. Very glad to visit after year of lockdown. Staff is helpful and delivered with perfection. 9 out of 10. If you need to take Guests for lovely food nothing can be better. Would like to suggest few suggestions: 1. Use good quality table tissues as cheap quality annoying when stick to fingers during meals 2. Have some complimentary salad on any plate. Would increase appetites and will be more appealing. 3. compliment eating customers with at least 5% of the value in free drink or deserts. 4 Mutton chops need spiced up or need keeping marinated for longer

Amazing food and great alternative for Nando's. It was extremely delicious and amazing staff. We had a party of 12 people and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The chicken strips were delicious and so were the piri fries and the corn if the cob. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the cheesecakes and thick shakes were delicious. Would definitely go again and would recommend for everyone.

Nice menu, pretty much like Nandos, but cheaper, lovely chicken, nice portion sizes. the mocktails need to be more presentable though, ordered a pina colada, looked like dishwater, no garnishes, defo not photo worthy, but on saying that it did nice nice.

I give 5 start! Never been there before, it's a place easy to go. The food has been delicious, I didn't expect something like that. The service it's easy to go however it's reasonable cause of the reasonable price. Portion are ok no too bad could be slightly bigger would be perfect. Go and eat in this Franzos's chain it's ok nice experience. Updated: I have back for a dinner and I got again the same nice experience. Manager of the restaurant ok! Such a kind person as should be any manager! Update 2: I got munch box for lunch and I love it with extra wings as well! My wife ordered wrap and she loves it. See you next time.

I would give the food a rating of 6/10 . The chicken and burgers were what we were looking for as a copy of nandos although it wasnt exactly like that. There was some taste to the food however nothing signature to note. I dont think its a restaurant to come again to. Customer service was poor hence the 3 star review. The chicken served wasnt warm enough ( i had seen the plate left by the warmer for quite a while and nobody served quick enough) appetisers came ' AFTER' the meal. And the mocktails which didnt have much taste came right at the end of the meal too. Music was too loud and the area of sitting wasnt very good as there was waiters constantly moving pas up to get to the kitchen/prep room. I would say pricing is cheap. Paid £30 for meal and drinks for 2 adults which was burgers/chicken and drinks. Please note there is NO parking nearby unless youbare coming after 6.30pm. Most areas of parking are residential zones.

I loved franzos when it first opened on James St but went today and the rice was awful! Why did you change it... way too spicy and does not taste good! Wings were pink inside and soggy and fries were too oily not sure what happened today.

A great halal chicken place. As people will be aware Franzos not only do chicken but have a small selection of lamb and beef. I was feeling brave and thought to try the beef / lamb, to my disappointment it was cooked from frozen and not fresh as per their slogan, felt very tough, very little flavour and seasoning. Literally felt like from freezer to grill in 5 minutes. Their chicken is a different story, always great, always fresh, always consistent and always flavoursome. Try anything chicken on their menu and you will not be disappointed. Great venue, great decor, great environment, suitable for a small family. Prices are neither here or there, they are reasonable for certain items, some items are expensive for the they are. Overall not bad. Chickens great, lamb and beef give it a miss (My recommendation). This is the reason the title says a great halal chicken place. The gourmet sauce has become one of my favourites from this place. Try it with chips or their chicken, I’m sure you’d enjoy. Hope this review helps the people.

Nice mash potato was nice and the chicken would have been lovely but I ordered lemon and herb thinking it would be like nandos but it was actually really spicy. I like spicy food but this was for the kids and was to spicy for them to eat and was even spicy for me. Really disappointing.

Amazing food excellent service really fast. Although I did find tbemeals a bit messy they tasted perfectly fine went with family would really recommend the family platter for only £22 which contains 4 peri peri burgers 2 portions of chips (got the peri peri chips) and 8 wings

Deliciously clean food. I Had the beef burger 🍔 & it wasn’t too heavy nor too oily. Chips were nice & soft. Clean environment & toilets were kept up to par. Seating arrangements were good too. Nice seating gap from other diners which is important in my opinion. The only down side is they don’t have many desserts range but fear not! Just a few shops away is a dessert shop called St James treat. They are equally as nice!

Nice food - was cleaning tables but gave us the table that they just cleaned to close up - as we got there 9.30pm (30mins before closing time). amazing staff, courteous and polite! Asked if i could pray (as it was time for maghrib) - no hesitation - was directed to back and said there you go - pray here. Its a nice touch that when there busy - still do not neglect people that need to pray - no nonsense of mosque is 5mins walk etcc (could not leave as had kids with me) - very accomodating without a fuss - didnt feel out of place to ask for a corner to quickly pray!!

Really nice food and environment. Excellent customer service. Very clean and good lighting. Nice to see the owners meeting the customers and showing their commitment. Kids meals are nearly the same size as a normal portion. Chicken was hot and dressed with enough sauce, even for a decent sized chicken piece.

Me and my partner have visited Franzos Walthamstow and both are pleased with the great atmosphere and the food that we had ordered. The portions are satisfied with the price and the sides are delicious such as the Nando's. The preparation of the meals takes a bit longer but there are a lot of customers and this is reasonable. We will visit this place again and again.

Normally when i use to come in for sitin the food was always good, even better than Nandos sometimes. But this time when i ordered for takeaway i called in advance to place an order. I was told 30mins, i went there after 40mins just to make sure it was ready when i got there. But once i arrived i was told the chicken is still in the oven and had to wait addtional 10mins for it to come out of the oven. Not even the grill the oven. After waiting for another 15mins i was given my food only to find the sauce on the chicken to be was verry runny and watery on top of that the chicken wasnt even cooked propery and was black from the inside. Had to chuck it in the bin. Never going to get takeaway from them. Sit in is very good on the other hand but not takeaway.

My family and I went to the frenzos Walthamstow last night .The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. I had lamb chops, Lebanese grill and grilled chicken with salad. Everything was so yummy, juicy and tasty. I would highly recommend it. We will definitely go again and again. Great food , wonderful atmosphere and awesome staff!

A very good experience from the walthamstow branch of Franzo's. I have been to the other branches and they are too busy and the customer service not that great. The Walthamstow Franzo's staff were attentive and polite and the manager was overseeing the restaurant and made sure everything was ok for everyone. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and the restaurant clean and very stylish. A message to the manager, please have a tip jar for your staff near the tills and a message to the public, please tip the people that work in the food/restaurant industry. They work extremely hard and get shown no appreciation!

I tried Franzos’ Walthamstow branch twice since it has opened and both times is has been outstanding. The first time was a take away order which was still piping hot once I had got home, the second time was in store on a busy Saturday. The food here is fresh and extremely tasty, the sauces really do compliment the meals. The interior is modern and inviting, the staff are also very cheerful and accommodating. Overall this place is great to dine at and catch up with friends/family for all occasions. We then stumbled by a really cute dessert shop a few doors down on the corner called St James Treats, it was a really nice end to the evening. The kashmiri tea was the best i have ever had! They also had Karak Chai and various coffees. The menu offered a great selection of desserts and we ended up ordering waffles, crepes, cookie doughs, shakes and cakes with custard. Everything was amazing and such good value! Be sure to try them out, you definitely won't regret it. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

One of the best peri peri chicken shops (just like its other branches) in London from experience,healthy food, great prices and pleasant staff! Excellent value for the platters,scrumptious and tasteful wings, burgers and good kids meals as well,great for family outings.Definitely added to my list of goto restaurants!However it was lacking a little compared to Franzos Leyton on the sauce but still amazing peri peri.

It's quite good. Food is decent. I come here quite often as I sometimes work nearby so I stop over. Price is reasonable and staff are nice. Decore is very nice. There are a lot of seats so you should get space. I would recommend it. 27/10/20 I haven't been back there for sometime now as its no longer HMC certified and hasn't been for quite some time. The only reason I went there was because it was HMC. The new certifying body is called Halal Quality Certification B.V. NOT t be confused with HQC which supply GDK. I'm not saying its not halal but rather that I was unable to find any information about the new certifier to show its methods of certifying itself Halal and as a result I wont eat there until I can find out more about them. Updated 15/3/21 Excellent to see that its HMC certified again. Told all my family and they were very pleased. They swiftly arranged a visit and enjoyed the food. Keep it HMC inshaallah. Nice one

Thank you to the management and team making us so welcome celebrating our son's birthday.The atmosphere is warm and staff friendly the moment you enter. We booked for 7 and I had enquired earlier if it was ok bring son birthday cake. The manager ensured cake was kept in the fridge and provided cutlery after our meal. Fantastic freshly cooked enjoyable meal ...the boys loved the variety sauces available and the Piri Piri burger meal with Wings. Busy and staff were quick with the service. Highly recommended and lots parking around side roads after 6.30pm permit time ends.

The first time we ordered there was a minor issue but after speaking to the Manager of the name Akeb it was sorted ! The Chicken was delecious. I'm so sorry Nandos but it was indeed better here. I called up today before ordering as the Manager was kind enough to sort the previous issue out by telling me to do so and I have to say 10 out of 10 for professional and polite customer service and the food is also delicious today ! Keep up the good work we will be ordering from here more often :) I highly recommend this place 👌
