Amazing restaurant/bar inside Camden market. The staff were absolutely lovely and attentive. The food was fantastic and so tasty. I recommend the cod tacos and the chicken and chorizo jambalaya. The cocktails are very good too and there’s also live shows and dancing on the weekends. They also do bachata and salsa lessons during the week so look those up too. The atmosphere is great. All in all, a great experience.

We loved this place, mainly because it wasn't crowded. The spacing was also really great, so you won't be worried that you're gonna catch a virus or anything. The serving sizes of the drinks were great, and the ambiance is wonderful. The lovely lady at the counter also let me charge my phone, as I had no other way to get home. Overall a lovely place to have a nice chat and a drink.

Came here on a Groupon offer, 9 tapas to share and a glass of sangria each, and would highly recommend. Food quality is very high, and so much we couldn't finish it! The Chorizo is especially good, and the bread comes with delicious dip and olives!! Staff also very friendly, and damn good sangria! Only downer is the toilet situation, it's a very large restaurant with a full upstairs too and only a single cubical for ladies and 1 cubical for men... means there's often a hefty queue. Great location in middle of Camden too

We enjoyed the Tapas and Sangria at Gabeto. Hadn’t been to Camden Market for four years mainly due to the pandemic and was shocked how much quieter it was than before. Probably explained why this restaurant was resorting to Groupon to get new punters in. Though this was a cheap deal the good was lovely with a choice of nine tapas that was far more than the two of us could eat. The decor of the place was fun and the kitchen upstairs looked well managed and clean. My only criticism was that the waitress could smile a bit. But we still left her a tip!

No your traditional Camden gaff, but I guess neither was Gilgamesh - until it was! But really worth a visit, great bar and lovely to sit outside in the summer. If you are in the vicinity, well worth going, you'll love it - however I wouldn't cross town just to go there. But highly recommended!

Book our visit by using buy a gift voucher for 3course meal and a cocktail each. We only got starter (we choose 2; even though in the offer we could order 4) main course and bottle of wine. Food was amazing, freshly prepared , full of flavour and portion were massive. We were full. A bit disappointed as we paid extra for bottle of wine. It wasn't included in the offer but we didn't have half of our starter, dessert and cocktails. It wasn't clear at all. Waitress who served us had her mask on ( what is understandable) but I could understand a word , she wasn't talking loud and clear enough. Staff should make sure customers do understand. So general experience was positive but for the voucher price (70£) we used it only half amount of money there plus paid extra for wine. If you got voucher from but a gift use it somewhere else or just stick to the deal with making sure you know exactly what is included.

Prices were a little dire but you'd expect as much in London, and the music was great. There are salsa lessons for beginners before the club night starts so you can practice and then show off what you've learnt. Overall, a great venue.

It's too bright, with tiny tables and despite the good effort on decoration, it feels like being in a place to get a late-night hummus wrap. It deserves to be in a grand, spacious, old building but since we aren't in BsAs, it's possible they could make it feel more intimate and romantic, because the food is luxurious.

Really nice place. A bit too quiet on Sunday evening. Be aware the website says you need tickets and they are £3 plus £1 admin fee. I got 2 tickets online from a website called Fatsoma but when we got there no one asked for tickets! The entry was free. I asked for a refund and they refunded the ticket price but not the admin fee.

We ate here on a whim, just walking around Camden Market. The decor is absolutely beautiful! It looked like the inside of a loft. I don’t like that the chairs with the back facing the bar is on a thin step up edge. The restaurant is handicap accessible because of their wide doors and elevator to the second floor but when I opened the handicap bathroom door I saw it was being used as a storage closet. The one unisex toilet in the restaurant was dirty. Toilet paper and receipt paper were stuck on the floor, there was an almost empty bottle of hand soap on the sink when there’s room for two bottles on the sink area and the toilet paper roll wasn’t placed in the canister, it was sitting on top of the sink. For a restaurant that doesn’t get too busy at any time of the day according to the crowd level when you Google this restaurant, they should be able to keep up with basic cleaning procedures and maintenance. However, there was only 1 server, 1 bartender and 1 chef on the bottom floor and only 1 chef on the second floor when I visited. Maybe management should put another worker or two on the schedule to help out. We first ordered the Mac and Cheese and the House Nachos. I love the peppers they put in both dishes. They’re not jalapeños peppers as described on the menu, they’re a bit sweeter and less spicer. The Mac and Cheese was decent, the cheese tasted very watered down. The Mac and Cheese was under the sharing option of the menu and I found it to be too small a dish to share for the price. The House Nachos were pretty good. I enjoyed the taste of the chip and the guacamole, salsa and sour cream on top of the chips. I think I would’ve like more than just a dollop of each so I’d suggest putting each in its own cup so we can enjoy more of the sauces. The nachos were around £6 and I was okay with that price point. We then ordered the cauliflower tacos and bell pepper and black bean fajitas. Three cauliflower tacos was just the right amount of tacos however I expected to taste smoked paprika as described and expected the cauliflower to be hot. The first bite of the taco was odd because it tasted sweet and I was expecting heat. The Bell Pepper and Black Bean Fajita dish was good. I had 4 small tortilla wraps and just the right amount of filling to put in them. I really enjoyed the pesto dip on the side of the plate but I used most of the salsa and guacamole on the plate. The salsa isn’t spicy, which is what I expect from a Cubano restaurant and the guacamole tastes more like a can of guac. I did order a Mojito Especial which was absolutely delicious. Overall, I will not be returning for another visit.

This 5 star rating goes to Hailey and Sandy, these two ladies made my experience last night so enjoyable. Their service skills are phenomenal, they both have impeccable manners and beautiful smiles. They were always willing to help with organising and adjusting my booking and my guests. Even when I had a miscalculation with how much guests I brought on the night. These two ladies are a credit to Gabeto and the restaurant should do it's best to make sure they do not hire anyone else that does not equate to the quality that Hailey and Sandy bring to the company. We visited Gabeto having received a voucher as a present. The venue is nice a converted stable block with high ceilings, exposed brick. The food was simple and nice enough. My partner chose a terrine for starter which was a good move, I liked it more than the crispy squid I ordered and he was not going to swap. Kofte kebabs were mains. The service was lacklustre. Had to ask for water, for salt for chips (none on tables), and for the cocktails that came with the deal. Which was a shame and something I find so often now. There is a club downstairs which was bustling and fun. It was a good night out, but could've been so much better with just a bit more customer care.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well and dance to latin music. I appreciate the option of small foods if you just want to nibble. The place is always very vibrant and staff is friendly. However at the same time the staff is not always professional and has a problem with cocktails. Even if you keep ordering the same cocktail every bartender will make it into different glass, different taste, different garnish. The worst was when I ended up with ice in my double rum in a whiskey glass.

Bad stuff: Their happy hour drinks are poor on choice and although the cocktails cost less, it’s not because they’re doing you a good deal, but because they put less alcohol in the drinks. This is dishonest and rude. The drinks are a little pricey generally. The customer service is a little lacking. My friend saw a big rat running through the rafters 😬

Amazing! Last night on Friday I had a great night out! This is a bar with Latin music and a lot space to dance. The place has 2 dance floor; the 1st floor is for Salsa lovers; and the ground floor is plenty of dance hits, reggaeton and other Latin hits to dance to whole night through! At some point of the night on bar we had a Conga (instrument) adding more rhythm to the night! :D JUST BRILLIANT. My new fav place!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great with loud music to enjoy whilst eating your meal. They do a lot of deals on groupon at a cheap price, which is great but I find when I attend using a voucher, I am treated like a bit of a burden because I have already paid for my meal. I end up getting the meal dumped on the table and then no one returns. I literally just get up and leave after finishing without anyone asking if I would like anything extra. They also tend to change the menu as the one you purchase online is always different to what you get. I would definitely return to gabeto as I like it here.

Visited the resturant today. Staff do not seat you even if you wait at the door or have a reservation. Not enough staff to cover all the tables and therefore made service slow. The flavour of food was fantastic however it was left under the head lamp for over ten minutes. Over all, terrible service and bad customer service but good food. Wouldn't visit again.

I booked Gabeto for our graduation party on a Monday evening, initially they booked us a table inside but since the weather was good we decided to stay in the terrace. Everyone really enjoyed their time and we stayed until late, the stuff were also very friendly. We had small little finger food, wine, cocktails and beer. We had 2 vouchers from Groupon that includes the food and drinks for each person. (There was lots of food for 12ppl) I definitely recommends place and looking forward to visit it again.

Went for a salsa night on a Friday evening, the main bar downstairs plays music for the regular crowd but the upstairs bar is a salsa/bachata night. Good music and the standard was pretty good. The bartender works well given the crowd and the drinks are strong and taste good. Plenty of free water for cooling down with too.

The others seemed to be walking up and down doing a very good job to avoid eye contact. I pointed this out to the lady who eventually served me. Drinks expensive in my opinion at over £5 a small bottle of beer but good atmosphere when the dancing starts.

I have always loved the vibe I'm the Cuban but the service could be much improved . Manager and till attendance was slow and even though I had a table booked the service was very plain, nothing beyond their extra mile . Update 30Dec2017: I just attended yesterday for salsa classes and social dance. I think the new gabeto looks very trendy , the upstairs area with the big salon for classes is amazing ! . The restaurant is nice as well but the big barrier between kitchen and tables is very odd. Nevertheless I truly enjoyed the night with salsa and bachata dancer . Recommended still 👌

V V good meal and experience. We are local. We are in much need of a quality, innovative, restaurant using good fresh produce. With closure of Q-Grill and Market on Parkway, Camden for all its diversity is seriously lacking more refined options. We were hoping this would fit the bill. Its not expensive for the quality of the food you are served. If you are looking for restaurant in line with the "market" surroundings - this is maybe not it. If you are looking for innovative and quality dining - in a relaxed but well serviced restaurant - this def fits the bill. Our octopus was out of this world. Best I have tasted ever maybe. Partner had the range of tacos - which were v good but might lack a little "heat" to make them more interesting. service v v friendly and good. Will def go back. Only gave it 4 starts as they use toilet attendants - and would not say if they were waged as normal staff or not when I queried them. Its really grey area for some, but I do not agree with it. If toilets are dirty then pay staff to clean/monitor during open hrs - you are paying for it with the price of your drinks and food. Why expect customers to tip your toilet attendants?

I would highly recommend Gabeto on a Friday night for a meal and a dance, it’s a Cuban restaurant that turns into a Latin dance floor at night with dance music on one floor & salsa upstairs a lots of fun. The area around it seems to be happening in general. The food is good, we had nachos & Patatas bravas, the pulled beef tacos were particularly fantastic. I did expect better from the steak given the price point, and didn’t appreciate that the steak sauces cost an extra £3. Service was very good, smile and greet at the entrance by the manager and throughout by the servers. Very friendly and approachable, despite us rolling in last minute. Best part is there is a great atmosphere once the dancing kicks in, everyone’s there to have a good time and you see a lot of people embracing the Latin culture and music, some seem like professional dancers, and some less so, however all are welcome to bust their moves and provide an entertaining evening. The top floor is more focused on salsa-type dancing, again with a range of skills! Glad we stumbled unpon this place, great memories that will last a lifetime.

We had walked around Camden Market for quite a while early in the morning. We sat down at Gabeto for a quick coffee break in the outside terrace and it was really good. A pleasant atmosphere in a lively area, a magnificent bar.

Today Sunday 30th 2019 my husband and I waited about 10 minutes for waiter. A Young girl was by herself running among crowded room. Once we ordered after 10 min cesar salad was not available, had to choose another one from the 2 offered. After about 30 minutes salad and patatas bravas were served. By that time another Young waitresses joined to help the other one. 3 bar tenders were moving behind bar. Only a Cook was handling dishes for about 60 people ..😘... It's an interesting place, great for going salsa dancing, but it gets way too packed on the weekends, especially since large tourist pub crawl groups end up finishing their routes here. It gets incredibly hot inside, in the summer, and the WC is outside the building and only reached via stairs. Great mojitos though.

Go there for one main reason - dancing! Friday and Saturday nights full on Latino vibes. The place gets crammed as it doesn't have the biggest space for the dance area, and the cocktails are a little too diluted. End of the day, just enjoy it for the music and dance 😀

Music is good and it's a lot of fun to spend hours here, but the entry was 10 quid and the drinks were expensive. To top it off, out of the 2 times I've been here, the first was completely empty(just our group 10 people at 11pm) and the second was so full that we couldn't move.

We went here on a Friday night, it was a fairly good crowd everyone was in a good mood and there is a nice outside area if you need to cool down after a bit of dancing. They also have a restaurant upstairs and I did see they were serving snacks until late downstairs. Get there before 10pm for free entry!

It has a nice garden area and of course on a night the dance floor is full of dancing people so it's great if you're into that. On the other hand the prices are very expensive, there's an entrance fee if you come after 9pm, there are promoters selling shots everywhere and the toilets are worst than on a festival area.

The Cuban bar has a live house band with an authentic sound! Love the atmosphere in Camden, and this is a hidden gem. The back patio gives you a great space to cool off with some drinks after dancing. I will definitely be back many times again, the drinks are reasonably priced for Zone 1 (and strong).

Lovely authentic Cuban stylish place with a huge variety of drinks ( inc. non-alchol) and with some nice food. They always play nice cuban music and I think there is live music every evening and anybody can go for dancing such as salsa etc. Once I saw some teachers there while there was live music so they helping people to learn the dance steps etc... Definitely worth going!!!

This club/bar has two floors and is Latin themed. They play really great music, usually a combination of salsa, "Zumba" and hip hop Latin music. The drink prices are fair, about 4-5 pounds a shot. They lost a star because they have a 10 dollar cover
