Reviews of Granger & Co. Chelsea
S. W.
They did it again, have visited all the other ones in London and they still keep surprising me in a good way. Yes, it can be tricky to get a table especially on a Sunday like today. But wow the wait is worth it.
Super professional service, nice vibe and they food is out of this world.
See you soon again.
S. A.
I have visited this place on December 2021 twice. Both times it was crowded and long wait. It gives you an indicator that this is really great food, and it is.
We order banana hotcakes , poached egg, avocado and sour dough.
My first time here was very pleasent, food was good, staff was kind even in rush hour.
-
My second time wasn't as good. The food was good, but service wasn't.
I don't want to be rude, but I don't like when I ask for a specific thing and someone tries to tell me otherwise, i asked for well done poached egg and I somehow I got explained that the method of how they cook it won't be soggy, and I don't have to ask for well done. But I always say "well-done" just in case.
Also, we had a situation with the orange juice, it had a bug inside it, and we know these things happens, so we asked to replace it and we been informed that this wasn't a bug it was "fruit fly 🙄", we are not native English, so I don't think this correction was necessary, just replace it and call it a day. You can see it in the pic just zoom on the orange cup.
_
It's not quiet place, it's loud so if your sentive to voice, takes measures.
-
For cleanliness I'd probably give 2/5, because when I sit i can see leftover or crumps of food on the chair and table.
d.
Before we came we think it was better than this flavor! Maybe because we put high expectations and when we came it looks different! The scramble egg was so buttery and no flavor on it, the pancakes was good, but I will not come back again, there is better than this breakfast in London.
S. K.
Had a nice time at Granger & co. We had lunch and we had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. The staff was very nice and the hostness made our experience even better with her friendly personality. We had salad and pancakes, beer and sparkling wine. Beerglass was chilled and the food was good. Highly recommend!👍🏻
J. J.
The ambience is nice, quality of food is fine. Wasn't too impressed with the starters I got but the main course of crab linguine was yummy and the wine also very good. Its a no smoking restaurant inside and outside also. The staff were very busy so we didn't get served our drinks till we asked for the 3rd time and also we had to ask for the bill twice also.
Overall is a nice cute place and is fine to eat at. Casual dining with a nice ambience and friendly but over worked staff.
S. W.
Nice, compact little place with plenty of sitting on the ground floor and even more sitting on the top floor. Portions are very generous and tasty. Drinks are super delicious also. I would totally recommend this place to tourists, locals and passers by. Place is a little crammed, so just be prepared to be squeezed in a little.
A.
I regularly visit the Granger & Co branch in King’s Cross which consistently has exceptional customer service and high quality food and drinks. I dined at the Chelsea branch with my partner a while back and had a pleasant experience. I ordered the salmon and scrambled eggs along with a flat white and my partner had the pancakes. The service was swift and the food tasted great as always. The restaurant was bustling and had a lengthy queue outside so we were waiting a while to get in but that’s expected during weekend ‘brunch time’. By the time we’d finished eating the restaurant was however almost completely empty. The restaurant has cosy surroundings, a good layout and I loved the interior decor.
All in all, a good experience and would recommend.
B. C.
I absolutely love this place - it has some of the best pasta dishes in London. Everything we had was excellent - it's the kind of place you want to return to over and over to try multiple things and repeat favorites. The wine selection is great too, it's small but everything is good and pairs well with their dishes. Service was also great - friendly, attentive and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough.
F.
Excellent choice for morning people. Worth to start your day from Granger & Co. Many branches in London. Go with "Scrambled eggs" and "Hotcake" all of them were delicious.
M. A. T.
Great food friendly service like it don’t miss the Chilli eggs wow
う. N.
Popular place (this place is called Bills in Japan) Unique menu but it’s tasty :) you should book beforehand!
Y. N.
Great brunch spot, can def recommend the corn fritters. Will have to try the ricotta pancakes next time :)
S. S.
Really impressed with the service here, very attentive and looked after throughout the night. I’m not a Rosé fan, but I’ll recommend it here. Also couldn’t resist the Pistachio Pavlova!! Yum!
I. N.
Another great breakfast / brunch.
Arrived around noon and put our names in for seating. Got called 45 minutes after (top end of the time range we got).
Sat on the bar and then got moved to a table, but this trick seemed to have messed up the bill, which took time to settle. The team was very nice and kind about it.
Food was great and everything was really delicious and in the usual execution level.
R.
We had a Very nice breakfast. Everything was delicious.
Came for the famous mousse style scrambled eggs (don’t know how to describe them), beautiful to look at, was expecting a different texture, solid and not fluffy as i was hoping.
Still great meal!!
N. A.
YOU MUST TRY THE HOTCAKES !!
Unique and delicious scrambled eggs ..
This is my favorite breakfast spot in London ..
Specious branch with beautiful outdoor seating ..
No reservation, come and queue !!
L. S.
One of my favorite vegan food places around, great location in Pavilion Road. Try the carrot cake👌🏻
D. L.
Very delicious food! Expected it to be overrated but it wasn’t. Food was fluffy and delicious. Didn’t feel over stuffed after eating and will definitely be back. Coffee was also good if not small in size.
H. p.
Super delicious food and amazing service. I recommend the pancakes! Also in a beautiful location.
E. C.
Went there for brunch. It was already packed (obv, it's Sunday). The lady at the door found me a spot at the bar, which I didn't mind at all as I was dining alone anyway and I was on my way to work.
Hotcakes amazing and the fresh orange juice is delicious as well.
Staff very friendly and attentive!
F. M.
Partner and I visited here yesterday. Great food, vibe and service. Best to make a reservation before visiting.
A. k.
I went here for the breakfast at 9am. The indoor tables were fully occupied so we sit outdoors. The restaurant food was great. The service was a little bit slower than what we expected. waiters were so busy to respond quickly. The restaurant location is great.
m. n.
My friend from out of town and I needed a quick bite and somewhere chilled to catch up and Granger and Co always hits the spot. Service was pleasant memorable and welcoming. I might have her name wrong but Binta was excellent and funny, love her energy. The burger is for sure the one.
A. D.
Thank you to Binta. We visited on Sunday. She was smart and personable. What a Gem! We were happy to wait for our table because of her and we were not disappointed! Great food and amazing location. Will be back when in London.
A. d. K.
The road in which this restaurant is situated alone is reason to revisit. The location and venue are perfect!
Had the poached eggs with the most amazing toast. The sausages were great and bacon nicely crisped.
My friend had the ricotta hot cakes which had us discussing for many minutes the secret to getting them so fluffy!
Great brunch spot, definitely recommend it!
Please like if you found this helpful :)
M. A.
Favourite breakfast and brunch spot.My order ;
• Ricotta hotcakes banana + honeycomb butter 10/10
• Scrambled eggs and sourdough 10/10
J. D.
Very pleasant environment! Food was tasty, although a few items were missing from the menu. Good portions and friendly staff. Make sure you book- the restaurant was packed on a Saturday afternoon!
R. B.
Breakfast prepared with care for the fundamentals.
Pleasant surprises include raspberry shiso smoothie and green kimchi.
W. W.
Was super excited to try this an Aussie cafe!!! Coffee was a miss for me unfortunately but the food and staff were great.!!
M. A.
We visited this place twice , one for breakfast and dinner. Both time were good.
P. S.
Significant queues even on a weekday, but the food options really are worth it. The burger lacked a bit of salt, but was otherwise excellent, and the fries were superb. The scrambled eggs are implausibly good, and worth a visit alone. In all likelihood the very best place for breakfast/brunch in the area.
H. L.
Everything about this place (besides the slightly slow service) was on point. If this is Aussie vibes, someone take me there!
Ordered: rooibos and ginger iced tea; shrimp burger with fries.
After hearing all the hype about their brunch, decided to do the opposite and just do lunch. There was a bit of queue to get in, which can sometimes be a testament of how good the place is).
The burger featured a fresh burger bun and well seasoned shrimp topped with a sauce. I would highly recommend trying this. All the drinks sounded refreshing and the rooibos iced tea was no exception.
And to top it all off they were intentional about their social distancing measures and temperature checks on entry. Plus they took contact details just in case. If you’re still slightly worried about eating out this place will put your nerves at ease.
D.
Excellent brunch place with lots of sweet and savory options! Must try the ricotta hotcakes with banana, honeycomb butter and maple syrup; and the velvety scrambled eggs. Be prepared to queue at peak times, but well worth the wait!
N. E.
Are the ricotta pancakes worth the hype? A definite yet. They were warm, fluffy and cooked just right, and the caramelised banana added the right sweet touch. It also helps that the restaurant is located on pavilion road, adding the perfect setting for a Sunday spring brunch. The only downside is that the prices are a bet hefty.
H.
Loved their breakfast but the receptionist was rude. Had to demote them to four stars for that.
V.
The servers were super nice, my partner was very happy with his spicy chicken burger, I wasn't too impressed with my salmon and avocado.
It's a good restaurant and I want to go back to try the pancakes but in my eyes it doesn't justify the constant queues outside.
S. N. N.
Went today for lunch and even though there was a queue it went pretty fast.
Pancakes were definitely worth the hype!
The poached egg with avocado and salmon was unfortunately very bland and definitely needed some spices. Complete waste of money sadly..
A. G.
A very friendly, clean restaurant with an amazing menu. We had a wonderful lunch which whisked us back to our holiday in Thailand. I would recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone 😋
A. S.
Superb restaurant in a lovely location with a great vibe. I had the crab linguine, my partner the shrimp burger, both were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient.
T. R.
Burger is really nice but desserts are not that much . Staff are nice and friendly
A.
Great for brunch. Shame one can’t reserve, makes it feel a bit production line. Staff has that warm Australian friendliness. Prefer the Notting Hill location; “unfortunately” this one is closer to me.
H. S.
It was okay.
1) The orange juice didn’t feel fresh.
2) The salmon looks great but tastes bad.
3) The poached eggs were also not that good.
4) The pancakes definitely look better than they taste.
5) The scrambled eggs were actually good!
6) The service was also good.
Price for two people 74£ definitely not coming here again not worth the money for a bad breakfast. 3 stars is me being generous.
H. F.
Its a nice place to dine in, however nothing so special about the food. The ricotta hotcakes was the best though, it was soft & fluffy. The scrambled eggs were good too, the avocado toast was a bit salty.
S.
The food was good, service was efficient.
Tables along the lounge were much too close together and made sitting down and leaving quite uncomfortable, even for children. It's a beautiful restaurant, such a shame that cramming in tables took priority over comfort.. surely a good designer could have provided the required number of seats *and* appropriate space?
The acoustics weren't great, and with tables so close together, the conversation of certain adjacent diners overwhelmed our own.
Oddly, we all queued for such an experience.
Y. F.
Granger and Co is probably best known for their brunch, yet I really enjoy it for lunch and dinner too. My favourite dinner dish is the fish currey, and the peanuts fried chicken are also divine to share. Also tip for brunch is to go only during weekdays as weekends are very busy and you‘ll have to queue for a while, while for lunch and dinner it tends to be less busy and you‘ll get a table easily.
S. M.
Granger and Co. has a very interesting menu and the choice of bowls were quite good. We really enjoyed dinner here and the ambience also lent itself to a nice and intimate dinner. We would like to come back here to try other food options on the menu. The freshly made ginger ale was also very delicious!
D. M.
Good service, good place and great pancakes!
H. A. M.
Few friends have recommended Granger & Co as one of the best places in London for breakfast. Well, I am not fully convinced. This place is spacious and modern. The menu is not extensive and doesn’t have many items but is diversified to address all tastes. The food was miss and hit. The scrambled egg was perfect in texture and good in taste. The muesli was below average. Similarly the Sunshine smoothie. The Chia seed with berries was very good but the famous pancakes were average. Nice place to go but doesn’t call for a second visit.
Service was ok; good but no soul.
A. K.
They told me it the best pancake in London. It was really good, but I am not sure if it is still the best our there.
Banana pancake is good. Their best seller.
Hot chocolate is not to be missed.
They have really good healthy bread and milk options. As for me I don’t drink cows milk and don’t eat regular flour bread. All the alternative options are available and even better than the usual. Healthier and more delicious 😋
A. R.
Food and drinks were delicious, however the hostess wasn’t exactly welcoming, she practically rolled her eyes when we asked to have cocktails outside while we waited for a table.
K. S.
Delicious, freshly cooked food with excellent quality ingredients. Lovely atmosphere, simplistic decor. Staff are friendly and very accommodating! Top place for brunch, lunch, or anything really!
A.
I really like Granger&Co but in comparison I prefer theirs in Notting Hill, the food and atmosphere just seemed a little better. Although the street it’s on in Chelsea is worth a visit and to get a table is much quicker. Their pancakes and salmon breakfast dish are my favourite
M. Y.
Best pancake in town! The ricotta hotcake is everything. But the scrambled egg is a bit of a disappointment, which is tasteless. Anyways, will come back for the pancakes.
S. A.
I guess this is my worst experience with Granger, I’m a frequent costumer for aggggges.
I like the food, staff are friendly, but hygiene is a cons.
I saw the waiter wiping the spilled milk on the chair with the blanket placed for costumers, and the other one took the cigarettes from the ground while cleaning the table and it’s surroundings, and put it the ceramic cup placed on the table!!
Which obviously will be washed and served to others, But WHY in the cup?
I’m Shocked, Granger used to be my favourite spot in London.. but Hygiene should be reconsidered.
N. C.
This restaurant is REALLY popular so make a reservation if you can. We came at around 3pm and had to wait half an hour for a table, but it’s well worth the wait. Service was lovely and food was great - we had the ricotta hotcakes, shiitake spaghetti, and crispy chicken.
r. a.
Cozy place a bit of wait though. Pancakes and scrambled eggs was good. However, we ordered granola with Greek yoghurt and the waitress didn’t put the order through. All in all it’s good food service need but improve
R. C.
If you like spice foods, nice atmosphere, beautiful people and top service, that's a very recommended spot to visit. Must have their Ginger Mojito👌😜
M. C.
Friendly helpful staff, great food, really nice spot in London. We had a great evening, can't wait to come back.
S. A. Z.
Oh my! If you want to start your morning in a “ fashionable” manner, you come here! Very elegant, refreshing atmosphere, and the best stuffed pancakes I have ever had! As details matter to me, It makes me feel good to be in a place where people are elegant and well dressed! I will leave you with the pics!
S.
Everything is perfect. Food & staff 👍🏻👍🏻
L. J. S.
Went here and my friend for the ricotta pancakes and it didn't disappoint. It was fluffy and very tasty. There was a bit of queue even if it's past 1pm already, but as the last people in that queue, we got seated upstairs, which was way better than downstairs. Their outside seating would be good in the summer
A. S.
This place is such a hype. Everybody tends to say good words about the food. But I just don't get it- food is quite boring, nothing I don't make myself at home.
Interior is average.
I would say this place in general is about being average. Pricewise it is overestimated, in my opinion.
For what you can see on the picture we paid 42£ (two main dishes/two optional sides/one pot of tea)
The neighborhood is amazing indeed. Service is polite and our waiter was very smiley and nice, but we asked for receipt for 3 times(different staff) before we could actually pay.
I just eat food like this at home and don't see a point to eat it in the restaurant.
There are many places in London worthing a visit and even staying in queue but this is definately not one of them.
T. N.
Had a short queue for Friday lunch. Food was excellent and worth the short wait. Staffs were most friendly and efficient. We had the chicken burger, shrimp burger and curry prawns. Will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu!
H.
Love it, nice casual atmosphere. The menu has improved a lot in the past months. My favourite plates are the chopped salad and the Japanese bowl. healthy and tasty veggie food 😋ps. The salads on the pictures are only available at the lunch menu.
T. W.
Was always grabbing a cup of joe and a bake during lockdown version 2.0. Finally managed to dine in after lockdown ended (for now). Tried their breakfast items, one with rye sourdough and the other had jasmine tea smoked salmon. They were good! The place was abuzz at 8.30am on a weekday. We ate and enjoyed our coffees and left, happy.
B. S.
This is the second time for us to come here and order Coconut fish and prawn curry with brown rice, delicious! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Also we tried Chili crispy chicken burger and it was awesome
Can’t wait to visit again after this pandemic ends
A. A.
I like it i ate 2 time while i was in London
A. D.
Lovely location. Food is authentic Australian. I went with a couple of Aussie friends and they confirmed! I had the smoked salmon, avocado, poached eggs, tomato breakfast. The salmon was superb! My friends had the fluffy ricotta pancakes. Apparently a dish to die for.
Depending on the time of the day there might be a queue outside. Definitely worth the wait. Try the Westbourne grove branch too. Both locations offer same dishes. Lovely staff.
M. D.
Food is good (amazing ricotta pancakes) and service is fast (once you get a table - be prepared to queue even though it can go pretty fast). The place is tucked in a lovely area and has relaxing vibes. I recommend.
M. B. M.
Fantastic!
I was in the queue and the changed the menu from breakfast to lunch ! so make sure you get there in ample time!
although I took lunch yet I enjoyed every last bit of it!
k. m.
The best Scrambled eggs in town, doesn’t even look like scrambled eggs. Most of the time you need to queue to get a table but worth it. Food takes a while to come too, probably cause they are busy, but keep in mind if you are in a rush
B.
A classic breakfast place in London! The pancakes are a must!
M. L.
Have been here a number of times and always love coming back ! An enjoyable experience this time also. Really great service and amazing setting. Delicious food
S. S.
Loved the pancakes very tasty, my favorite was the scrambled eggs.
L. K.
Liked this place, nice atmosphere, only had coffee so can’t comment on the food, but lovely location near Sloane Square and friendly and attentive staff even during the busy time. Very popular and the only downside is they don’t take bookings for brunch (we were lucky to get a table at 10am but later saw a long queue on Saturday morning)
H. A.
I love to have breakfast there
The food is fresh and delicious and the service is Good.
You Musta try their scrambled eggs.
M.
Ricotta pancakes are worth trying. Not my thing actually - was expecting them to be more “ricotta” than “pancakes”, though still good experience as there’s no other place in London that serves them. Coffee is good. Oh! And Aesop hand wash they have 😻
R. N.
Make sure you're here early or get ready to wait. At 10am on a Sunday there was already a 30 min wait! The hot cakes with banana were delicious, the juice was OK. A bit on the pricey side, so don't go if you're on a budget, but I would still come back for another round.
P. P.
If you have a big appetite then you will love this place, tables were a bit close to each other than my liking but good atmosphere and great service, if you don't like to wait for a table then make sure you call in to reserve one.
I ordered hot oat cakes with banana and honeycomb butter..no words to describe this dish, it is beyond delicious...it comes with maple syrup too.
Must order as dessert!!
We also ordered Fresh aussie - jasmine tea hot smoked salmon, poached eggs, greens, furikake, avocado and cherry tomatoes: looked great and tasted amazing.
M. H.
Beautiful area and delicious food. Would strongly recommend the pavlova in their dessert section.
Y. U.
Hostess and staff and good attitude and food is always good highly recommended for breakfast/brunch.
F. A.
The coffee below average taste like hot milk, the hot cake basically tastes like egg, sarumbled eggs was good. Place not clean.
M. S.
I remember the restaurant being much better. The ricotta hotcakes were good, but not amazing. Everything was good, nothing bad, but nothing I would highly recommend.
K.
The pancakes out of this world, its a must.
E. L.
Great coffee but my courgette and celeriac fritters were raw in the middle.
The unisex toilets were a little dirty
R. D.
Lovely meal here - the food was excellent, the service was very, very good especially given how busy it was, and my fig and vanilla old-fashioned was a pleasant surprise! Definitely recommended.
A. W.
The portion sizes were huge which was surprising but not the cheapest of places. Managed to get a table before it got too busy as the lines tend to be out the door. Would definitely go back.
H. M. A. B.
Lovely atmosphere, interior design was nice friendly stuff and delicious food but keep in mind that u have to wait at least 20 mins and there is no reservation
N. S.
A returning customer to their scrambled eggs.. day and night 😋
E. E.
The staff is so great! The food was delicious and unique. I had the scrambled eggs but the way they are cooked? It's a mystery. The presentation was stunning.
T. R.
Service - uhhhmazing
Food - great
Whatever you do, don't miss out on those pillowy pancakes with an extra side of strawberries. YOLO.
M. L.
Wonderful place with much good vibes. Jay - the waiter- was so welcoming so we felt very well in this place.
M. L. R.
Tried the prawn burger and the chicken burger. Both were good. Service is reeeeeeaaaallllyyyyyy slow though.
M. S.
Super nice service, food and coffee mostly so-so, rather nice fluffy pancakes with nut butter
E. B.
Very nice atmosphere and food! Staff very kind and helpful, So I asked if it was gonna be possible to get an iced spiced chai latte and they managed to accommodate my request even tho it wasn’t on the menu, I gotta say it was amazingly refreshing even thanks to they amazing almond milk, that served cold is just great, the tea could be infused a little more since with the ice melting could get very watery, but tastes great and perfect for warm days 💕
J. T.
Nice spot nestled off the high street. Great atmosphere and ambiance and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Moderately priced and good quality especially given the the location
S. S.
One of my favourite places for brunch. The pancakes are superb and so too are the little touches like making their own almond milk for the coffees. The branch in Clerkenwell is even better.
N. H.
Great aussie-style food, atmosphere, interior design and service. If the weather is good, try to get a seat on the outside terrace.
E. F.
Really lovely place, the staff were extremely nice, and I loved having my breakfast / brunch there! I was able to work for a couple of hours as well. I would love to come back next time I'm in London!
S. V.
Friendly staff, had a late lunch reservation and almost everyone being helpful. Crab linguine, the fish and prawn curry and a burger for the youngest. All were good and service was managed well. Charging points for phones available inside and would definitely come again for a nice quick bite in a lovely part of London. Vibrant street with lots of bars and great vibe on a sunny afternoon.
F. G.
Great Aussie comfort food
E.
Very nice breakfast, there is always long waiting but it’s moving very fast
M. W.
Everything was perfect, friendly staff.
C. K.
Nice breakfast but selection could be bigger. It was tasteful but had overall better experiences elsewhere. Service was nice and attentive.
S. O.
No matter what time of day you go, there is a que of people. Their food is great and the service is good. One odd little thing was that somehow a bottle cap ended up in our fresh squeezed orange juice. But we will definitely be back.
f. o.
We were recommended this restaurant by a friend to be fair it is an okay restaurant and perfectly suited to its local clientele. I would not make a beeline or journey to it, starters were okay, maybe a little bland. We found the main course were pretty much the same, they were okay, hence the score.
Service was polite and friendly and overall I would give it a 3 out of 5...Just!
A. M.
Average tasting but nice presentation. The place is nicely decorated and provide good service.
M. A.
Perfect place for brunch and lunch, service was five stars Our waiter she was so pretty ; )
K.
Pretty good place for breakfast. However, ricotta pancakes didn’t impress me much
M. A.
The breakfast experience where I ordered pancakes with bananas was delicious and the decor of the cafe was plain .
J. O.
Korean style gochoojang sauce, nice bread, good burger🍔 , best chips 🍟 ^
A. K.
Great staff, Lovely place, Tasty food.
If you are in the area, drop in and say G-day!
B. C.
Place was very clean, lots of seats and the staff constantly cleaning off tables.
A. M.
Great selection of healthy, tasty Aussy food and drinks. Lovely lane to wander. Text system to let you know when your table is ready if you haven't booked; gives you time to peruse the shops in the lane.
Y. A.
Exceptional breakfast. Don't miss out on the ricotta pancakes!
M. B.
The most recent visit was a disappointing experience compared to previous occasions. Staff were inconsiderate, inattentive, and seemed like they didn’t care at all. Wait was long as ever, but the queue is poorly managed and more can be done to inform people of long wait times. Food was delicious but the overall experience has sadly gone downhill.
v.
Had a lovely time! The courtyard area in the back is fantastic and the food was great. According to my girlfriend they make the best bloody mary in the world!
J. W.
One of the best brunch restaurants in London.
M. I.
Loved this place had an early dinner with a friend very eclectic menu it’s very different you will enjoy if you like something special 😉
M. T.
Super nice menu with great atmosphere and friendly staff! Couldn’t ask for more. As an Australian it’s really great to find the aussie quality service and menu items here in London. Would highly recommend.

Food and service is great cant wait to come back.
O. B.
Superb service, delicious wholesome dishes and a fantastic atmosphere. The starters of salted almonds and zuccini with yogurt and the main of prawn and fish curry with brown rice was delicious. I stupidly went out without my credit card but the manager made the exception and allowed me to pay by cash. Thanks for the amazing hospitality and for saving me from the awkward position of not being able to pay by card!
R.
Brunch here is excellent. It's a place with lots of options but be prepared to queue at peak times. Although, it is definitely well worth the wait!
O. A.
Nice place for a sunny morning with limited menu.
E. F.
Zeena Starbuck was the best! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. Atmosphere, ambience, friendly staff, and awesome food are just some of the reasons I will be back. xx

Visit : Breakfast / couple
Visited on a brisk morning prior to the November hyperbole virus closures.
Having walked passed this venue many times and usually seeing it packed busy in the afternoons we decided to give it a shot. We were not particularly impressed with the breakfast - basically it was fine products but just, well, rather bland and boring each of the dishes we went with - we certainly wouldn't return for breakfast and believe the highlight of this location is the upstairs terrace for drinks and bites.
Unfortunately on our morning visit it was a little too cold for sitting outside in the street tables as that is a plus point with no traffic.
For us an unimpressive breakfast - for what we ordered and as per photos - however we will give it a shot for the evening and terrace area
S. A.
Great food and a nice restaurant. No five stars as I'd like it to be clearer on the menu what is veggie, vegan, allergies etc.
s. h.
Initially a great experience apart from waiting way way too long for my main meal to be delivered to be then told by the manager sorry for the delay there will be no charge for your part of the meal only then after arriving back to the hotel to find out they had indeed charged for the delayed meal.. great place but come on guys lets tighten up the slack!!
M. A. H.
Very great experience, I loved their food
E. T.
Fluffiest hot cakes! And the best scrambled eggs.
H.
Lovely food, great environment. Initial waitress fab, then may as well not have existed to staff. And they seemed heavily staffed. Enjoyable when in area.
M. T.
Great fresh food and my favourite was the tuna & avocado. Its is based across two floors & thier is an outdoor eating at the front. Best to book ahead.
P. H.
Great food! But not so great service. It took a while to find someone to take our order and when they did come they were in a rush. When they brought our food I ordered some mayo, which never came!!
M. P.
A fab find. Wonderful food and I have to say one of the best Bloody Marys I have had in a long time. I am very much looking forward to returning and feasting on the pistachio pavlova 😋
Z. B.
Great place. I have enjoyed the phone. The place is extremely cosy and food is good. Recommended!
S. S.
Perfect for breakfast, friendly staff "Daived". One of my favorite breakfast in London 😍
I. A.
Very nice restaurant and have big menu to enjoy the food and drink service is excellent and then banging is so great
R. J.
It's on a pedestrianised street so that outdoor seating is lovely on a sunny day. Highly recommend the ricotta hotcakes!
S. A.
Highly recommend the scrambled eggs and the avocado salsa, but the pancakes are eggy.
K. M.
Loved it very much.. cheerful friendly staff and super yummy breaky
A. B.
World class food in the middle of Sloane Square. Have been here several times and not once have I been let down. Everything is fresh and the servers are attentive, knowledgeable and very polite.
J. J.
Great food, friendly staff and cozy place! Very generous portions, extraordinary food and a pleasant atmosphere to spend time with family/friends!
M. R.
Good place for breakfast while exploring the area.
P. L.
Had a really wonderful dinner for six people on a Thursday night. Food was outstanding (marinated lamb) as was dessert (banana fritters). Service was excellent and the ambience and style of the restaurant was similarly spot on - very interesting and different in a good way. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost too given the quality of food and location/ambience. Would thoroughly recommend!
A. H.
Ambience was nice, food was also good can't make reservations so you just come and usually there is a queue. 4 stars because the staff forgot to place our orders and only discovered after we asked to check. But damage control was good as they apologized and gave free drinks, once order was put in the food arrived quite promptly. I do recommend this place for good food and a good venue to catch up with friends.
D. P.
Very very tasty burgers, chips were lovely and crispy. Great service very friendly and helpful waiting service. Will be going back and Would highly recommend!
M. B.
Fantastic! I chose as near my hotel and the prices seemed within reason for the hood. But my expectations were blown away. The cauliflower, not something I normally order, was excellent with a perfect charcoal grill and succulent sauce. The salmon, recommend by the waiter, was among the tastiest I’ve ever had with a sesame-based sauce and a plateful of kale, and the Shrimp Burger was perfect, but its spicy ketchup of sorts was out of this world. The pistachio chocolate along with the meringue pistachio thing topped off an excellent meal with superb service. Really. Will return in a heart beat.
J. W.
Service was good, with a nice choice of meals. We had to wait outside for around 30 minutes for a table, otherwise we were told we would lose our space in the queue. The tables themselves were quite close together, great if you want to listen to the people next door, or make some new friends. Otherwise, it was a little intrusive. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and on the whole would go back again, hopefully when it’s a little quieter.
K. J.
Very interesting cozy place! We liked everything!
A.
Nice garden
Tasty Hot cakes 10/10
scrambled eggs 10/10
A. I.
Not sure who's leaving misleading 1 star reviews here but I've been a regular at Granger in Chelsea and now will be a regular at this location as it's closer to my house. I just visited it yesterday and it was great as usual. There are still some teething problems as they just opened but hopefully they should be running at full capacity shortly. Best brunch in London and all around great all day dining menu. Highly recommend it.
C. M.
Great service and food. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, we ate brunch on a weekday and although busy we didn't feel the need to hurry up. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Highly recommend trying it.
T. K. D.
One of my fav brunch spots. Great food, always seems good quality ingredients. A nice menu with good variety. You can be waiting a while especially on weekends for brunch, evenings not so bad especially in week (pretty much just walk in). It gets busy but worth the wait and it’s a good place to chill.
A. s.
I went here on a saturday morning and after reading other reviews expected to be in a queue for some time. Whilst the queue was long it moved steadily, and the staff came out to securenour table and assure us of the wait time. We were inside within 15 mins. I wouldn't normally queue for food like that but heard great things, and was not disappointed. I ordered the ricotta hotcakes amd they were everything i hoped for... delicious. The service was good And despite the popularity of this place we were not made to feel rushed which i appreciated. I will be going back.
F. A.
Expect to wait to get in. Food was good.
M. A. D.
Excellent food and great vibe 👌 love it
M. D.
Awesome place, really lovely for brunch- love the garden and terrace bit! Perfect on a sunny day!
Edit: I really don't understand the 1 star reviews except to say they all seem to have the same spelling errors/general tone so I'm guessing they must be fake... no information anywhere on the net about mistreatment of chef's except for the photos attached to the reviews... feel like google should look at them a bit!
G. T.
Really nice food and drink options - dined here summer 2020. Would definitely like to return for the breakfast / lunch options. Dog friendly outside on the patio, dogs not allowed in the restaurant.
C. E. B.
Location is pretty, on a pedestrian only street. We sat outside for some food and drinks. The service was attentive and food came relatively fast. I'd recommend for a chilled evening with friends
J.
Nice food mainly for breakfast or lunch, good atmosphere although not as buzzing as the Notting Hill one, a bit overpriced. Their signature dish is the scrambled eggs which are very creamy. The pedestrian street it is on is very nice for a walk and you are right next to sloane square.
D. A. A. د. ع. ب. ح. ا.
Cozy good place for breakfast and brunch. Healthy options. Eggs, fresh juices, vegetarian options, coffee and gluten free bread. I liked the açai bowl. Staff are friendly and music volume is right. Accessibility measures could be improved.
A. R.
The delicious pancakes I have ever eaten 😍 Very friendly staff. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere is incredible. Highly recommended it!
B. N.
Can get really crowded but for good reason as the food's pretty good. Would recommend the prawn pasta or the curry fish with brown rice - have eaten either dish at twice each. Service is also good but with the crowd you might have to wait awhile to get their attention.
S. B.
Food is tasty but expensive. Staff very nice. Lovely atmosphere and general vibe.
A. L.
Great food. Reasonably priced. Sat in a sunny courtyard. Felt very normal and relaxed. Like old times!
J. M.
The best of the best every single time I go with my friend, I have never experienced before at any restorant the most exceptional service. Thank you so much for that reason we just can't keep away any time we decide to go for a meal it's only here. Thank you so much for being so special Anita, David and lovely gentleman with the beard sorry don't know his name. Everyone just so special and polite.😊
A. A. D.
Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Excellent service
C. 1.
Banana Hotcakes!! Superb food and atmosphere. Only downside is the waiting time. The food took ages to be served, not to mention the 40minute queue for a weekend brunch. Keep in mind they only take reservations after 5pm :(
G. M.
I have always liked coming to this particular branch however on my last visit the poached eggs were cold and when I asked them to be changed the staff were a little upset and I was made to feel a little uncomfortable. I am still a big fan but I believe it could have been handled a lot more professionally.
A.
My very best place for breakfast in London. The hot cake is absolutely delicious!
Amazing cappuccino.
Welcoming stuff and good service.
Must try!
A. A. Q. (.
Nice place to have breakfast
S. N. M.
Nice location on a quiet sloane square backstreet. Ambience is good although decor is a tad dated. Food is very nice however this is let down by poor service. Ordered a beer and a glass of wine at the bar which took them 15 minutes (the reason for this i cant understand). The restaraunt upstairs is nice but service also pretty bad there too. Nobody checks if your food is okay until its done, staff are nowhere to be seen so you have to keep interrupting your conversation to look around trying to find somebody...
l. c.
Wonderful and surprisingly unpretentious food (it sounds more than it is).
The Tuna Tartar, the Squash Chips, the Broiled Cod and Chicken Schintzel were wonderful.
I don’t believe I’ve ever enjoyed a chicken Schnitzel as much.
J. P.
Lovely food, and friendly staff who are doing everything possible to make their customers happy, despite the restrictions around Covid. I can't wait to come again!
L. R.
In terms of food - the pot stickers are everything! Ended up ordering a second serving followed by the fish curry, which was absolutely delicious (order it every time and NHG&Co and it is consistently amazing). While the location is massive - you can always find a cute little table which makes it feel intimate. I couldn't recommend this place enough, whether you are having a big Saturday night or a quiet alcohol free Tuesday.
D. D.
White chocolate pistachio pavlova, passion fruit and yogurt cream 😍😋
Great staff ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
K. J.
A friend and I were looking for an outdoor spot for a cold beer and we came across Granger and Co. Very friendly service with a recommendation for a German beer. A mention should go out to David, he is charming.
Since my last review I have visited 3 more times and I love this bar. So reluctant to share my comments as I shall stop being able to get a table!
S. M.
Went with my colleagues for our Christmas Dinner. We ordered from a set menu which catered to all dietary requirements. The food was fantastic and was swift at arriving to the table. The accompanying wine was perfectly selected!
M. E.
Excellent food as always with a slight Asian twist. We had soft shell crab fried rice with chorizo and poached egg and the shrimp burger. Courgette chips are done perfectly! There's a decent amount of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails available.
R. H.
Lovely courtyard out the back for al fresco dining even when chilly. Great atmosphere. Food is excellent and service was great.
H. A.
Best scramble eggs & pancakes
C. C.
Absolutely delicious! Fabulous food and decor!
E. B.
Absolutely marvelous restaurant. I have lived next to the notting hill Granger and co for 2 years and as an Australian this is about as good as it gets for brunch and coffee, which is probably why there is a queue out the door everyday. Don't normally do dinner but thought I'd treat myself down at their new restaurant in Chelsea and it's quite spectacular. Food was delicious and if I can recommend a tasty Aussie beer that's hard to find around these parts get the Byron Bay stone and wood. Worth checking out for sure
D. B.
We were here for dinner.4 of us.
We really like it the starter almond chilli chicken and the main dish THE pork belly was amazing and so tasty and look nice also like the duck.We will definitely coming back again.
S. S.
Great interior design and atmosphere. Best for breakfast, lunch dished aren't great.
L. K.
I like this particular branch of Granger & Co because the wait is never as bad as Notting Hill and the upstairs dining room is beautiful and bright. Coffee is AllPress (the best) and their scrambled eggs were perfection!
L. J. B.
Delicious home-cooked grub!
S. T.
Tried fish and scrimp curry last night! Delicious!! Thank you
D. G.
Lovely atmosphere and vibe, friendly staff in a great and quiet location in Chelsea compared to most restaurants on busy kings road. Locals prefer it. Don't forget to try the ricotta pancakes!!
J. D.
This is not your typical spot for brunch. Yes it is somewhat expensive and yes it might look pretentious but it is great quality food with decent portion sizes that won't make you feel like you have to stop by McDonald's just to feel full.
Staff are super attentive and friendly and it is just a nice place to be
M. Y.
Lovely surprise to discover a beautiful area near Sloane Square. Love the butcher, bakery and wine shop next to this neighbourhood restaurant. So civilised! Really love the vibe. Service is spot on and attentive and food is very healthy and light!
L.
Great avocado rye bread and coffees
B. V.
Already a fan of Granger & Co at Westbourne Grove but sometimes the queue is too long so I was very excited about the new opening of Granger in Sloane Square. I used to think the Granger in Farringdon is very beautiful but this one has got to be the most beautiful of the four Granger in London. I love the location. A very quiet oasis in a very busy area. The chill atmosphere is just right and the decor is really stunning and elegant but at the same time effortless and comfortable. We had a great meal there but I was disappointed that their signature pancake was not served after 5 however I had the popcorn caramel dessert and it was very nice too. Can't wait to go back for the pancake and to dine at the outdoor terrace.
One special note: I am surprised about these one star comments ??? Granger might not be your cup of tea but it certainly cannot be one star. It is delightful in so many way!
V. M.
Great brunch, cozy place.
F. A. M.
Great food. One of London's famous breakfast places. Service sometimes timely and at others less so. Recommended dishes: Ricotta pancakes
2.
H. A.
Amazing! The waiters and waitresses are VERY kind and the atmosphere is just amazing. And don't get me started about the food. THE BEST pancakes i have EVER tried in my life!
J. K.
Delicious food however atrocious service. After queuing (which I don't mind) we then had to wait 20 minutes for our order to be taken, even longer for the food to arrive and then wait to receive the bill. Waiters were avoiding eye contact as I tried several times to catch their attention. Not impressed.
B. G.
Amazing and timely food and cocktails despite a busy bank holiday. My housemates and I thoroughly enjoyed and would all recommend!
K. A.
The best breakfast in town
O. M.
Amazing spot for all day Brunch! The scrambled eggs and sourdough is amazing! Don’t forget to add extras such as avocados and Halloumi cheese.
M. A.
Nice breakfast but lunch is okay
B. D.
Delightful time with great service. Staff did wonders to get a large group of us seated somewhere suitable for having two little ones in tow. Service was quick and impeccable and the food was delicious.
J. V.
Great, friendly service, amazing food and a refreshing atmosphere. Highly recommend it!
G. Y.
I hate that this place exists, as I have to always goes there and it’s good every time
A. L.
I previously went to this restaurant in Clerkenwell and was very impressed. The venue is beautiful however the service on a busy Saturday was slow and subpar for the prices of food. Generally a poorer service perhaps due to the business of Saturday brunch hour. I would return again but perhaps just not at this location and this timeframe. (9-11am)
M. M.
TOP 1 for breakfast for most of the travelers and the locals as well . pancake, waffle, eggs ...etc. EVERYTHING IS TASTY AND AMAZING .. the staff are helpful and they are patients. you should expect some slowness in the weekend and long waiting list, so come early
H. K.
Really nice setting inside. Will be 30 min queue at least for weekend brunch, ricotta hotcakes and sweetcorn fritters are brilliant. Juice and coffee overpriced
F. A.
Excellent food, generously portioned.. attentive staff and nice ambiance.. gets busy and you do have to wait for a while before you get a seat but worth it..
F. A.
Must try there pancakes and scrumbeld eggs
A. H.
Had a burger from here today and I can confirm what they do is indeed a public service.
I am a better man, son and a boyfriend after eating their food.
A. D.
Been two times now and been very impressed both times. The second time we had the private room, which had a minimum spend of £700, which we treated as a challenge (and succeeded). Would recommend.
K. A.
Delious food. Great Atmosphere. Nice s& friendly staff. Healthy and tasteful food with lot of varieties. The fluffy pancake is a (must try).
O. B.
Food is really good with a wide selection. Service is really good too. Only had to wait 10 minutes for a table and it was inside so not a great problem at all for us.
G. M.
Food is lush. Blankets for when you sit outside. Friendly staff. Recommend.
C. R.
grilled cheese on sour dough, over kimchi, with chilli, coriander and shredded spring onions...SO SO 👍 YUM
J. P.
Amazing place, service is on point! Good coffee if not a little slow to be delivered. Food menu is vibrant and healthy.
T.
Excellent food, good service. Wish the layout on the ground floor was less cramped, can feel a bit squashed and dingy at times. Queue can be long, but worth the wait.
a. p.
Very kind and quick staff, very nice neighborhood for walking before and after. Amazing flavors. Excellent coffee. Always busy.
O. H.
Wonderful place for breakfast. Recommend the ricotta hotcakes, bacon, and fresh squeezed orange juice (with or without a ginger shot).
M.
The location is beautiful and the food is delicious, the second visit to this branch and the place is very wonderful
R. L.
Fourth time here with my wife and brought our
friends .We were looked after as usual and apprecaited the help. Good food, very tasty.
Very nice young man who served us.
Will return.
Z. A.
New Chelsea branch of this popular restaurant. Great and healthy brunch options. Miso mushrooms, Aussie breakfast and chopped salad are favourites. Expect to queue.
V. P.
Good quality food and reasonably priced for the area. Staff are friendly and service was fairly quick even during peak times.
C. Y.
We ate the "full menu" all you can eat lunch and the food was magical! Staff were super friendly and it was a great place for informal dining.
L. H.
Had a few takeaways here in lockdown and was a regular before, food always beautiful and really great service.
C. S.
Very good food. Unfortunately they do not serve CHUNKY CHIPS with their burgers...that cost them a star. When in England...do like the English do! Proper chunky chips
..wedges...
f. l.
We went for dinner.. Food was great but they gave us a table in the corner and we needed to sit next to other than opposite to each other and it felt bit uncomfortable for a first date. There were other available tables in the restaurant...!
J. B.
Dinner: My hubby liked his salmon. My duck was crispy but slightly dry. Felt a bit too close to other tables.
E. R.
Lovely food, (generally) very friendly staff and clean toilets. Bit of a wait to be seated at 2pm, offered a seat in the garden with no shade. Quite cramped tables!
J. B. T.
THE best decaf coffee I've ever had and lovely friendly staff too.
A. A.
This is my must breakfast restaurant in London
m. p.
Very good brunch. Sophisticated but warm atmosphere
V.
Best Avo Bread in London!
J. L.
Great food but quite small portions, lovely staff but on occasion some a bit forgetful
E. L.
The food was good but the terrible french or spanish waitress with the long black hair who brought our food threw it in front of me like a dog. I will not come back because of her.
M. A.
Great food and coffee. Wonderful atmosphere and service. Seating arrangement was a bit too tight and uncomfortable.
M. C.
Nice venue, good food and good service. It can get exceptionally busy, so it's best to book in advance. But, otherwise it's worth the wait.
H. A.
One of the best restaurants in London for breakfast
W. A.
Breakfast place, excellent food and dessert menu, good service, the eggs and hot cakes is a MUST, you have to wait for at least 25 minutes for a table.
H. A.
slow but the food was delicious
A. J.
Was quite good
l. s.
Love the place and the food. The only annoying thing is they don’t accept reservations for brunch and there’s always a long queue at the door
M. M.
Awesome place following on from the institution that is Granger Notting Hill (and of course the original Bill's from Sydney!).
Great new location and can see why they've moved the "heavy weights" of Granger from Notting Hill and Kings Cross to make this one a success - both the staff, head chef and whole team should be commended for the awesome new site, menu and vibe.... still early days but undoubtedbly on course to be one of the great venues in the Granger & Co stable.
Some of the one star ratings and poor grammatical English comments looks like Google reviews may have been hacked by Putin!? Gulp...
Great work will be eating here regularly!!
T. D.
Nice people. Great team. Quite busy but no stress.
I. K.
It was a good, quick and easy breakfast. Ricotta pancakes were fluffy and yum. Bread and avocado was decent.
S.
I am a big fan of Granger & Co but I’m giving this one a 4 star because it’s not the best granger & co, the food is better in Notting Hill. Also this one is full of pretentious people which ruins the vibe. But it’s quite relaxing once you are seated.
F. S.
This place does quality food, but can be a bit pricey. They always hold some tables for walk ins aswell
M. K.
Lovely atmosphere, with a decent selection of the menu. Their fish curry is very tasty, plus their courtyard adds to the overall good vibe of the place
C. B.
This place does not take reservations, they don’t have to. The food is amazing, so is the service, but be prepared to wait, like all good things! Love it!
I. S.
Great food. I loved their Pavlova with white chocolate and pistachios. It was super yummy! Great customer service, too!
O. G.
Amazing eggs and good service. Pleasant atmosphere with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating
H. A.
Nice place for breakfast .. wonderful service, good wifi, GREAT chia seed pot, above the average hotcakes and average scramble eggs. Very limited selection of eggs dishes 👎🏼.
E.
Great food and atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and provided an excellent service. Very satisfied!

m. h.
Delicious pancakes for breakfast you won’t regret. Especially with unforgettable eat out scheme!
A. C.
Great food and selection along with good service.
B. M.
The granola was good but I was disappointed by the pancakes which were to similar to an omelette (strong egg taste) than a reals pancakes to me.
N.
I went for an early breakfast and it was EOTHO too which was a bonus. The food was great and staff was attentive.
c. b.
Very good restaurant, cosy atmosphere.
You need to wait a little bit to have a sit, but still really worth it!

Very pleasant place to have a tasty breakfast.

Went there for breakfast, really enjoyed it 👌🏼
T. C.
Great venue & food, just the queuing and average service (by that I mean forgetting your order) let it down.
J. A.
Very stylish restaurant, clean and professional staff

Awesome food and service. Would have been 5 stars but toilets were not great. Not clean. Shame.

The service wasn’t as good as it use to be.

Pancakes on hangover 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻♥️
O. W.
Not as good as the one at Notting Hill, but still one of my favorite places around Sloane Square
J. C.
Rather expensive for what it is. Great location though. And a very good coffee.

The shrimp burger was amazing, so tasty@

Excellent menu, delicious food and drinks, very friendly and happy staff!

Try the tuna poke and banans pancakes.

Classically well designed in every way, and, very well managed. Food is sublime!

It is nice and fancy but the prices are a bit too high compared with what you get in exchange.
