First time eating here and to be honest I was mind blown. Everything on the menu just made my mouth water. I didn't know what to order. But when I did, I was not disappointed. I was loving everything. The food is soo tasty, delicious and juicy. Out there but so good. The prices are decent but not when you get carried away ordering. For a table of two who don't mind eating.. I'd say your best bet is going to end up spending at least £80 minimum but it's totally worth it. The staff are really nice too. Cheerful. Atmosphere was very nice and happy as on the name.

Beautiful place! Food was amazing and I can't stress enough about the brilliant service. Absolutely recommend going there and trying it out. Only negative is that they don't have any vegetarian mains at all which is weird and my mum who's been vegetarian for 35 years had the limited options of just ordering veggie starters. Forget about vegan😅 I wish I took more pics of the food but here's one of the dessert.

The best steak i had. We ordered steak and prawns. The food was really tasty and yummy. Finger licking. They do also serves alcohol and no alcohol beverages. The restaurant is having a seating capacity of 200 people at a time. This is one of the busiest restaurants in oxford street. The staffs are very good. I think the restaurant needs a reservations for dining in. You can also make an onsite reservation also. I really recommend this restaurant because of their food and quality of service. 5 🌟rating

This was not the restaurant we planned on going to but the best decision we made. I was pleasantly surprised, everything was amazing!!! Full of flavour every dish, I understand the name of the restaurant as it made us "Happy " :D I have no complaints . I also want to give a shout out to the staff absolutely lovely, they did a great job regardless of how busy the restaurant was. Our waitresses were gems Meriyan and Liya they are doing a fantastic job!!!

Went for a meal with a friend, didn't book. Was greeted by 2 very friendly staff members and seated straight away. Food was really nice, great atmosphere and all staff very friendly and attentive. Would definitely be going back and would recommend.

Fantastic restaurant just outside Leicester Square, the restaurant has lots of seating, it's bright and colourful inside and very welcoming. The menu has a large selection, you can choose salad, meat and fish dishes. I choose calamari for starters which was served with a nice sauce and for my main meal I had the mac & cheese beef burger with truffle fries. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

A big thanks to Happy who managed to accommodate a party of 12 at the last minute.We were starving after leaving the Lyric theatre,and although it was Saturday evening and very busy,they found us a table. Good food,great service and a nice atmosphere. Keep up the good work,it does get noticed.

The service was amazing but what I ordered wasn’t as great. From the other reviews, it looks like I should’ve ordered something else. I got the Mac & Cheese burger.. it was ok but there was no taste from the Mac & Cheese. The sweet potato fries were good! And the portion was large which is always a plus. I feel like need to revisit and try something else. Overall the service is why I have given the rating I have.

Was very busy but we had a booking so was seated right away even though it was very busy even on a Sunday afternoon we was served very quickly, the food was nice wasn’t keen on the cheeseburger rolls definitely wasn’t burger meat some kind of sausage, other then that only problem was the bill there was a added £12 optional service charge which your not told about or made aware off I do not have a problem with tipping at all customers should be made aware and given the option on the card readers like in other restaurants

Came here for the first time, welcomed and greeted by a wonderful hostess, taken to our table and was met by our waitress, who was friendly, welcoming, very polite and professional. She introduced herself and asked if we had any food allergies. She took our drinks order and gave us plenty of time to look at the menu. The menu has a wonderful variety to choose from. She came back with the drinks and took our food order. For starters, we had the cheeseburger rolls, and the Arancini, these were just stunning. Then I ordered ‘The Kiss Me’ burger (I was going to make a crude joke then, but I’ll keep it clean) this burger came with cheese, bacon, etc… and a hash Brown, it was absolutely amazing!! I got fries as well and they were just fantastic. All the food was cooked perfectly and it was fantastic. All in all, a great atmosphere, a fantastic service and absolutely incredible food. I can’t wait to go back.

So overall I did enjoy this place, we luckily had booked a table as everywhere in Leicester Square was queues to eateries. The waiter got our order wrong which meant everyone but the Hubby was eating and he had to wait. Food was decent and okay choices, not sure I'd cope if I was not a chicken eating "vegetarian"! 😅 the sides were not too warm sadly letting it down but it was enjoyable and dessert was good! I'd go again for sure but not sure I'd rate in my top 10!

I came out of my comfort zone and decided to get prawns and I must say I wasn't disappointed, I'm not usually a fan of seafood but these prawns were BANGING!! I went out with family and friends to Happy London and I definitely left the restaurant feeling HAPPY! Our waiter, Ina really looked after us and made sure we were okay. The menus had pictures of the food which really was really helpful so you could see what you would like to eat. They also had a cool electronic bell for our table, so if we needed anything all we had to do was ring. I am most definitely coming back here at some point. Big up Happy London 😊!!!

This place is unbelievable. Came here after being let down by TGIs and I am so glad we did. The hostess at the door was welcoming and friendly. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by our waiter who gave his name and asked if we had any allergies. He explained the call button (press a button when you need service.) The choice of food is incredible - you will want to order everything on it. Food came quickly, well presented and delicious. Reasonably priced too. Can’t wait to go back again

Loved every second here. 10/10 customer service 10/10 attention to detail 10/10 restaurant interior design 10/10 food taste 10/10 friendly environment 10/10 music ( can bet someone with great taste in music create this playlist, no joke is a welcome to 2022 ) and volume (you can't hear others but you can easily have a conversation on your table ) 10/10 food plating 9/10 menu availability ( out of all the items in the menu 8 burgers were out, understandable with a full house) As you can see in the photos everything looks incredible the waiters (Kosta, Todor ) were very friendly and I strongly believe everyone else here, we had one of the best dinners yet looking forward coming back to try some more items on their menu. Check out online you'll see how unique the menu and this place is. Make sure you come comfortable is not dressing code or anything like it, is a friendly place makes you feel like home. Loved every second here.

Host at the entrance was lovely and polite, a very busy restaurant so glad we booked. The waitress was friendly, food was really nice, just not a lot of it. One steak wasn’t cook the way we wanted it, ordered a Gin and Lemonade but the size of the glass and the amount of lemonade that was in it you couldn’t even taste the gin what so ever. When paying the bill they was an optional service charge, but the waitress didn’t even give you the option if you wanted to pay it or not. Would I go back? Probably yes as the burgers looked banging lol To be honest it’s only getting 3 stars because of the food was lovely.

Not a bad place but not great… The venue is nice and big with good decor and very central. The menu seemed quite good and with fair prices considered its location, however absolutely nothing special with the taste of the dishes and the service was quite slow as well. I can’t say I’ve had a bad experience but it definitely won’t go back anytime soon. The “nutellasagna” was bad and didn’t taste of Nutella AT ALL.

A Grill & bar and sushi restaurant with a large scale seating area. Suitable for everyone to come and dine! I really liked their sushi options, they were yummy and satisfying! I recommend everything on the menu, we really enjoyed our food.

Positives: - Staff very friendly - Food fresh and tasty - Unique menu and good choice for meat lovers Negatives: - For the price, the portions are very small. I understand it’s a central locations, but portions could be slightly bigger. - The receipt came with an “optional” service charge. I would prefer if they asked me if I want to tip. It’s very awkward asking to remove the service charge. Also it’s more of a fast food restaurant so I don’t think such “services charges” should be automatically included in the menu. Especially since the prices are already very high.

We had the philly cheese steak and the kiss me burger…..I can without no doubt say it was one of the best dinners we ever had. The food was hot and and delicious. When i opened the menu i felt really happy, the variety of foods is amazing. I ordered the burger, it was nice. The bun was not that soft and the patty was not that tasty. We ate the fries with the pulled beef and that was perfect.

We had to que for a short while as we did not have a reservation. They gave us a table where we could keep the pushchair close. Service was timely and efficient, all staff were polite and helpful 👍 we all enjoyed the delicious food and fruity drinks, activities were given for the children which they had fun colouring in ✌🌈 I felt relaxed and able to appreciate the food at our own pace 😀 😉 I would definitely recommend and if we find ourselves that way again would be sure to visit sometime 👌

It wasn't that bad. Fries tasted stale and extremely salty on the first bite, although their chicken was quite nice. We ordered 1 litre of lemonade although it was packed with fruit and ice it must of only been filled up 1/2 since it only filled 2 and 1/2 out of 4 of our small cups. The service was really nice, didn't bother us much unless we rung a button in which we didn't. Although on the menu, the portions look normal but when we received them it was quite small. The tables were a bit cramped and didn't give much room to place your stuff. The bill came out to be almost £100 for 4 meals and a 2 drinks. Quite pricey.

Can't choose how you like your beef as they're all cooked to medium, however, our patties were overdone leaving the burgers being too dry. Also ordered the mac n cheese chicken burger out of curiosity but did regret this as it did taste like a weird combination and the mac n cheese was also dry. The burgers in general tasted ordinary. The burgers or steaks do not come with a side, you have to order this separately. The fillet steak was nice and tender but ended up tasting very salty as it was sitting in a lot of sauce (that was in itself too salty). The half rack of ribs were acceptable, just like your pub standard kind of ribs. Ironically, it was the sushi that had the quality; freshly made and sushi rice was cooked well. Drinks were all good. Visiting once would be enough for us.

So I came here ready to feast like a King and that is exactly what I did, don’t judge me 😂 but we got sushi (pink panther and kamikaze) - very nice, crispy duo which was a platter of prawns and calamari (I would’ve personally preferred more prawns but it was still nice) we also ordered garlic butter prawns which were very well seasoned 😍 then finally the most delectable burgers. I couldn’t decide between a steak or burger so I got the burger with rib eye steak and it was the best decision I had made all day! The service was really good too. Definitely going back again soon.

Is a great place to spend your evening either with friends or by yourself enjoying some dinner with a refreshing chilled drink(as I did). Is situated in Central London nearby Picadilly Circus. As a starter I had some cheeseburger rolls which was crispy and tasty, followed by duck leg with mashed potatoes... oh my!!! The mash was fresh and it was the most delicious duck I ever eat... Will go back for this dish... Though the menu is really rich with worldwide flavours. From sushi, grill options to burgers. As desert I tried pancakes with ricota and nuts which was real good. Is really Happy time instead of Happy end :) Food photos from my 2nd visit... again was amazing and this time I was with 2 of my friends... they loved it too! (Photos from 28th September 2021)

After reading the odd bad review, we were a little apprehensive on eating here. The staff were great, very attentive, the food was very nice and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that, as a table of four, two main meals came out about 5 minutes before the other two. It would have been nice for all the meals to come out together. 10 out of 10 for the staff and food. 7 out of 10 for kitchen time management.

I just love this place and it's menu. There is sushi, mac n cheese burgers, steak, seafood, cordon bleu and much much more! The staff are extremely polite and attentive and I love the buzzer on the table which alerts the waiting staff. I ordered some sushi and slow cooked beef with mash and creamy mushroom sauce. The chicken fingers and chips starter were also very nice along with their spicy mayo.

Drawn in by the menu as we passed the restaurant. Great variety on display, but food isn't top level, not awful, but not great. I would recommend changing the cheese on the Philly Beef, needs to be proper American cheese with that dish and the Happy Mayo tastes a bit weird/off. General environment is fun to be in and the occasional happy birthday routine is enjoyable to join in on, the first few times at least, unless you're miserable. We'll be back, but mainly to try the Mac and Cheese burger. Good restaurant for families, lots of variety.

Booking a table was easy online..confirmation text sent soon after the waitress was sweet and enduring. This restaurant was average at best. Our wait person was completely lacking in personality. Also I was given to understand that the food was excellent in my view it was only ok. When you pay almost £20 for a burger they could throw in the chips instead of whacking on another £2.95!

Tik Tok made me do it... Took my daughter and mum. The atmosphere was amazing, very bright and lively. The food unfortunately did not live up to the hype. I ordered off the seafood menu and was very disappointed. BUT all is not lost I would definitely go again and try something different.

The service was quite good and they have a button so you can call for your server which is a great idea. Sadly the kitchen had issues and half the menu wasn't available. I ordered the loaded chips and they were delicious. The toilets were a bit messy and needed attention.

Great menu, great friendly staff. Large portions and great atmosphere. Ideal for trips to the theatre, prince of Wales theatre is right next door! The only main let down was the condition of the toilets that seem to have nowhere near the care and attention that the main restaurant has had. Broken taps, broken hand driers and generally poor condition. Apart from that I would highly recommend.

Our second visit here in 5 days and let me tell you even when it’s busy the food doesn’t suffer. As before the service is exceptional and every thing served at just the right time. The beef carpaccio really deserves pointing out as it is simply remarkable. I had a different burger this time and my wife had the crispy chicken Caesar salad, we also had the aranchini too start. All the above was so on point, so good and really properly tasty. If your in the Leicester Square area I can not fail to recommend this place any more. Treat your self and thank me later.

Everything I tried at Happy was tasty and the service was great. I’m glad I discovered the Zuppa Inglese - best dessert I’ve had in a while! For a starter I had the garden salad, which was fresh and with a tasty dressing. For the main I had the beef rib with sweet potato fries - it was a larger cut that I’ve had in other places, and with just the right amount of fat - juicy and tasty but no lumps of fat anywhere. It came with great bbq sauce on the side - it was more acidic and spicier than most bbq sauces, not just sweet, and it added to the beef. The Elderflower lemonade I got came in a carafe with plenty of ice lemons and mint - didn’t need another drink. For dessert I got the Zuppa Inglese which was a tasty take on this Italian dessert (and not an an English soup! :)). It was not too sweet, and the peaches and blueberries really complemented the scoops of sponge and cream mix. The fresh mint was such a great detail - an olfactory delight together with the dusted cocoa, cream, and peach aromas. I like how the restaurant is setup - the kitchen is open and visible, you can see how everything is prepared. There is a button on the table which calls a waiter, it means you don’t need to longingly stare when you want to get their attention. I’ll be returning to try more of the menu!

Happy London I have visited here about five times give or take now and every experience has been a delight. I have tried different items on the menu and everything is absolutely delicious. This restaurant has a casual sense to it where everyone is welcome to eat and enjoy themselves. The food is absolutely first class and the prices are reasonably cheap considering where this restaurant is based. I have tried the steaks, lobster roll, burgers, sushi and many other items on the menu and everything is a euphoria to eat. The food is well seasoned and flavoured and you can ask how you want your steak or burger to be cooked, just ask. The waiters/waitressing team are very friendly and efficient and the waiting time for the food is not long at all. To call your waiter/waitress over all you have to do is press a bell type button on your table and within seconds they will acknowledge and come over to you. I used to be. A regular customer at Bubba Gump restaurant adjacent to this restaurant but I think Happy London may have well just took the edge with their astonishing desserts to offer. The Nutella lasagne is absolutely a delight to eat and the Oreo brownie and the coconut cake is also amazing. This is definitely my second favourite restaurant in London, I highly recommend eating here!

Amazing family friendly restaurant. We went here for Father's day and had the most amazing experience. From arrival the staff were friendly and attentive. We were seated promptly and our server introduced herself and explained everything we would need to know. The food was great. Fresh flavours and well seasoned throughout. We had a tough time picking as everything looked so good. We ended up ordering a selection and wasn't disappointed. We plan to go back and would highly recommend this place. Everyone was so nice over there and it was interesting to know most of them were bulgarian. We were served by Mihaela and Georgi and they were amazing. Read a few reviews and as the majority were good thought we'd give it a go and was not disappointed. We ordered the Philly Steak and it was Amazing, wow, the only downside was the portion could have been a little bit bigger and it wasn't quite hot enough for our liking but the steak was melt in your mouth and tasted wonderful. This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is so delicious, I was actually surprised at how tasty it was. The meat is literally melt in your mouth meat, so tender and flavoursome, I almost ordered seconds!!! The portions are a bit small but all very reasonably priced. Very good customer service. Unfortunately I found a hair in my plate and I called the waiter, they took it immediately and they replaced it. They apologised until I left and I really liked how they cared about me. I gave 3 stars because people working in the kitchen are not wearing an hairnet, it is not hygienic. I would suggest the managers to review the health and safety guidelines if the restaurant in order to avoid hair in the food.

Never heard of this chain before. Choice of food is amazing, sushi of various types, prawns, salmon, calamari, ribs, steak, chicken....it goes on Atmosphere is relaxed and a very large venue. Staff were fantastic and greatest innovation I have seen so far - a call button on the serviette box, which meant the waiter didn't have to keep pestering you for your order. Food arrived promptly - prawn and crab toasted sandwich with salad leak, fries as extra. Then dessert I little bit pricey, but that's what you expect with such good food and service.

Perfect!! Delicious food, incredible staff everything is 5 stars. The restaurant is coming from Bulgaria but don't think you will find Bulgarian traditional food, they managed to pick an incredible menu. You can enjoy burgers and steaks made like you can't find anywhere else. If you want to treat yourself with something vegan there are a lot of options to choose from and if you have birthday, they will make you feel like you are the only person having birthday that day. Booked a table for 12 on Sunday to celebrate my father's 50th birthday. The restaurant was incredibly busy, however staff were extremely prompt. Atmosphere was great, staff were absolutely amazing - our waiter Georgi Makaveev attended to all of our requests and believe me we had MANY of those. Although the restaurant was packed he was always there when we needed him and ensured we had the celebration that we wanted. I could not speak more highly of the service we received at this place - from the people that greet you at the door to the polite manager who asked us to vacate our table 3.5h after we were seated (understandable!). Food was quick to arrive and absolutely delicious. Safe to say that it was our first time here but it won't be our last!!!

Hit & Miss Experience The restaurant had a nice vibe and was generally pretty clean. We were welcomed by a nice host, and our server was pretty on the ball considering how busy it was. The menu offers a variety of nice alternatives to your typical burger restaurant at a reasonable price, so things were looking hopeful. Sadly when we were served our food, 3/4 of the meals were served luke warm, and the vegan burger was cold. Our waiter did suggest that the restaurant aims to serve food 'warm' rather than 'hot' but I'm not sure that's entirely true given some of the better reviews on here. Our server did attempt to make amends by providing us 2 portions of cheesecake on the house and these were delicious! Sadly, given how much of our main meal was not hot enough, I think we would've preferred a reduction in the bill rather than the complimentary dessert. But I can appreciate the restaurant's efforts. Lastly, I don't believe in UK restaurants automatically adding a 12% service charge to the bill. Maybe for groups of 8 and over I could understand it for the inconvenience, but for 4?? Whilst it is an optional service charge, its not exactly a conversation customers feel comfortable to have when they want to remove it. After all, it's a tip and shouldn't be expected.. especially when the food wasn't up to scratch. What's more, because we removed this optional charge, the server almost seemed offended. I explained to him his customer service was good, but tips should be based on the whole experience and the main course really let this down. Letting customers leave their own tips, rather than using a suggested 12% would stop your front end staff being demoralised when people ask for the service charge to be taken off due to other areas of the restaurant letting them down.

I would probs give 3 and a half stars.New chain between Piccadilly and Leicester Square. Big place, looks good and music to get some ambient. We tried the chicken with sauce, and it won't blow your mind, but it tasted good and meat was really soft. The sauce had a good flavor but maybe too much butter. Fries portion too small for the price but nice. Staff was really nice. We also tried the cheesecake Nutella and it was super nice. We had the homemade strawberry lemonade and it was amazing! Overall it's good and good option if you want something fast and it's so big they have plenty of room and you will have a table quick for sure.

Good food without a doubt. Reasonably priced. No complaints there. But the staff was uninterested and didnt seem to enjoy their work. Entree and main came almost together. Not nice. Then the tablet on wich you can rate them. If you don't get the tablet, you don't have to pay. We got a tablet, but it didnt work and the waitress almost ran. So, in a nutshell: good food, bad service. Not so happy.

Amazing experience! The food was tasty and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The sushi was a very pleasant surprise, they offered a great variety of imaginative types and flavours. The burgers were unlike any others as well, due to the fresh brioche buns and creative combinations of ingredients. The Kiss Me burger was amazing! The staff was extremely accommodating, our waiter Stoyan was especially friendly. In addition to all this the decor is unique and the TV screens presented an array of interesting facts and news. Very cosy, very pleasant and will definitely come back again!

Really great food. I had salmon with mashed potatoes and hollandaise sauce. For dessert I ordered crème anglaise with peaches. The portion sizes are just perfect. They have small selection of refreshing coctails without overwhelming or too limited choice of drinks. Everything just seemed really well balanced. The service was fantastic too. The waiters made sure that we are comfortable and enjoyed the food without the constant and annoying sometimes interruption. By observing I saw there were lots of young people. I guess the prices which were fearly reasonable providing the location,the great choice of music and relaxing atmosphere along with everything else made a perfect place for all sorts of crowd to enjoy themselves. Very impressed and I will highly recommend to visit when you are in the area.

She was persistent to say it was about her service only which I explained to her I've put a comment explaining her service solely is great. She insisted and seemed quite upset which made me uncomfortable so I removed my original review to not upset her, which was unprofessional on her part. My advice is to retrain your staff. - hostesses outside the restaurant seating customers were absolutely rude. Was told there was no tables available for the second time we arrived there, decided to step away to book online at the same moment was told no. There was availability online for that same time we arrived showed her the booking and walked in. Your employing dishonest employees. Either they are dishonest, racist or incompetent. Find out which one and fix it. - if your wondering why I have stated racism above its because there was one factor that was undeniable at your resturant which I've mentioned to our waiter. There was no diversity in your employees, they were all white. I did not see one person of colour. - fried calamari was horrible so greasy but overall food was yummy. We ordered the greasy calamari, loaded fries which was yummy and the quesadillas my sister loved. I would recommend the resturant but I would advice to book online

Even-though TGI Friday left this location, from my experience Happy beats them in every category, everything from the drinks to the desserts, to the atmosphere inside the restaurant which has greatly improved since Happy moved in.
