Reviews of Hiba
M. C.
Great portion sizes and great service. Went in for a dinner with my wife and infant son. Had the set meal for 2, the meal was massive, lots of different courses, I would even say it was a bit much for 2! The food quality was great, every dish was made well. The only thing I would recommend is to serve the dishes with some sort of sauce to compliment the meat, perhaps garlic yoghurt or something like that.
S. H.
AMAZING food! Hummus super delicious and the chicken shawarma is perfectly done. We ended our lunch with kunaf, and it was sooo good. The customer service is great, everyone was helpful and awesomely chatty… By the way, it is Christmas Day, and everything is almost closed and no transportation, so we planned to walk to Hiba and it was totally worth it… thank you guys for everything 🤗 Long Live Palestine 🇵🇸

Very good Middle Easter food right at Holborn tube that’s not a chain. Inexpensive, good quality. Friendly service by guys really welcoming guys from the region. Had the Chicken Shish Taouk: juicy grilled chicken, delicious rice and wonderfully pickled cabbage salad - super healthy, tasty.
The place itself could do with a freshening up.
p. s.
Food was flavourful but a little dry. Great portion size, as you can see we devoured our hummus and chicken dip! Service was okay...they don't speak English so clearly but they are quite attentive which is nice.
D. I.
Very welcoming, food absolutely delicious, more of a fast food style than restaurant but you can’t knock the great atmosphere and the quality food. While the portions were not large, they were very filling and the prices very reasonable. Service not as quick as fast food but not as slow as restaurant food and served with a pleasant smile, what more could you ask. I came in with my guide dog and although there were some unpleasant remarks by some customers the staff were fantastic. Not only did we take home our leftovers but we ordered more of the lentil soup, which is just to die for. Would definitely recommend and plan to go again.

Superb Food and Customer Service. Very polite and helpful staff, always smiling to the customers, gave free bread with Homous and some complementary bakhlava with mint tea.
Food is very tasty and fresh and everything is priced reasonably too given this is placed in central london. Great ambience inside.

Was honestly the best dinner ever/my life. I celebrated my birthday with 20 guests downstairs. The food was delicious and affordable, it was BYOB which was super fun for a big group, and the service was stupendous! They made sure to help my friends bring out the cake and were bringing everything straight away. I highly highly recommend Hiba Express as a birthday destination. The set meal for 2 is just absolutely phenomenal. I cant wait to come back again!!!
E. R.
First time eating at Hiba and really enjoyed the meal. Good selection of dishes. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own for £2. Friendly staff made it a pleasant night out.
C. H.
None of us had ever been to a Palestinian restaurant before - but we felt brave and gave it a go!
The staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful.
The food was a revelation - portions were large, super fresh and really tasty.
So - if you’re in Holborn, you really should go
S. O.
Lovely food and very well priced for central London. Very nice customer service. Certainly in the cheap and cheerful category which is a good thing. I’d say I’m an expert with Lebanese food and this place hits the spot. Enjoy!
S. D.
Great food. Served fresh. Very reasonable given the location.
E. H.
Just had a lovely meal here with partner. Owners / staff were welcoming and very friendly. Very interested to hear about us, sorry mate I forgot to ask your name!
Food was excellent. I had the lamb shawarma and my partner had the chicken. She had to take it home as portions are huge! Stuffed vine leaves and houmous were delicious. Try the fresh mint tea, really refreshing. Great good, nice atmosphere, really reasonable prices, and very lovely people.
Will visit again when next in London. Thanks!

Halal food in London. Great service & good food. Lots of choices. I had Half Grilled-Chicken and my friend had Chicken Shawarma. For the side dish, we saw Palestinian rice on the menu and decided to try it. We love it. Picture of our dish below taken by my friend, Alya. For coffee lovers who love strong coffee, you can try the Palestinian Coffee. Just £2.50. The small pieces of bakhlava they gave us as complementary was nice too. Next time gonna buy their bakhlava. The price of food and drinks here are reasonable. The half grilled chicken set was only £10++
j.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here! We decided to pop here after being out for the day and I’m so glad we did - the food was delicious and fresh, the staff were very friendly (notably Mo who gave us free pittas to go) and the atmosphere was comforting with great music. We ordered falafel as a starter, three wraps with sides for mains and two desserts and the meal ended up being less than £15 each! We will be back for sure.
S. S.
Nice fresh food, large portion and lovely mint lemonade too. Was gutted they didn't have the round pitta bread but it was fine
Z. H.
Food was really tasty and staff friendly. Decently priced as well for the amount you get. Smells amazing from the minute you get in and you can taste how fresh the food is. The garlic sauce is also so tasty.
T. S.
This is a totally wonderful Palestinian restaurant. If you haven't tried Palestinian food you should, and this is the place to start. The staff a really friendly, they put together a combination of dishes which were sublime. We required vegetarian and the choice was extensive. Great food, great people and great atmosphere, what more could you want.
A. S.
Awesome floral ambience, hospitality is great. The food is authentic Lebanese and has a perfect balance of flavours and consistency, one of best places in London to have Lebanese food.
They take reservations over call, and average expenditure of a dish per person is £13-14. Moreover they are on online delivery platforms such as just eat, so you can have the finesse delivered at your doorstep.
J. B.
Good food at a very reasonable price.
It's bring your own booze for a small charge, so works out very good for a cheaper meal out in London too.
Would definitely go back.
L. A.
Amazing. If I lived in London, I'd eat here every day, this is the vegetarian set meal with hummus, finely chopped herbs with tomatoes and lemon juice, spice potatoes, the best falafel I've ever had, stuffed vine leaves, and a lovely bread for dipping. Well worth a visit, it's really reasonable for the quality and quantity
M. D.
Popular Palestinian/Lebanese eatery with good menu, semi veg. Seems to have all male staff= bit weird. Fancy toilets. Recommended.
J. C.
Very good food - we had the set meal for two and our only problem was there was too much food. But they gave us a takeaway box so they even solved that.
Just have to note that they don't serve alcohol.
A. M.
Food came quick and was delicious great selection and excellent customer service
Y. A.
Friendly service, nicely cooked meals.
Falafel, lentil soup and shredded chicken with saffron rice are my fav rite.
M. Z.
Honestly the service was truly amazing! I came with two grumpy children and the staff couldn’t give us more attention to make the kids feel better. (And even small portion of chips on the house) Food is delicious, big portions and fair prices. Highly recommended
A. B.
Fabulous food and friendly, helpful staff. We had the little tomato sausages as a starter and they were amazing. The texture was firm and delicious and the taste was spicy and unexpected. I had the vegan meze and it too was really tasty and great value. Tried some of my nephew's lamb (I am not a vegan) and it was beautifully spiced. And the decor in the toilets is really interesting....😄
A. D.
Great quality of food, very tasty and and good customer service !
T. J.
Good portions size. A little dry. Bit of a slow service although it was a week day but friendly and polite service ! It was nice but I’ve had better middle eastern food 🙂
S. A. J.
Restaurant was good. Food was great but please do check what did you order because they did not serve us baklava at all although it was in the menu.
R. L.
Appearances might not suggest a great experience, but I had to rethink this entirely after my meal.
Great shawarma-style meat, excellent baba ganush, nice original touch with the xaloumi side dish and the Palestinian coffee.
Also, I suggest to have a conversation with the personnel and find out how kind of a bunch they are...
Good food and great human beings. What else?
L. L.
I’Ve been to this place about 6 times, and everytime the food has been excelente, like a flavour explosion. Sometimes they can take a little longer to bring your order, BUT remember everything is freshly cooked in the kitchen and you can see that from your seats.
Alleh is an excellent attendant, great customer service. I would ignore all the bad reviews and try the food if you want to taste some typical from Pakistan and Libya. Remember the food is gorgeous and very healthy!
T. K.
Great service friendly people used to work nearby and Hiba was always on the top of the list for my lunch choices. The mixed shawarma is my go to and you really cant go wrong with some chips on the side.
E. B.
Friendly, good food, great service.
Much better than going to a chain restaurant.
Only criticism is that the mezze and the main courses were served together. Mains had started to go cold by the time we had worked through the mezze.
Nonetheless we enjoyed.
C. B.
I selected as a starter a plate of 2 Rakatat Jibneh which is basically filo pastry rolls with cheese inside and 2 of the Rakatat Djaj which is again filo pastry rolls stuffed with chicken and onion. They were accompanied by 2 different spread sauces, a chilly one and a garlic one and a basket of 4 pittas. The rolls where so tasty and filling that I was left wanting more. I ordered as a main the "Today's platter for 1 person" from the recommended menu. It basically comes as a big platter with 4 different sides in it(or mezes as they call it). It contains a good portion of hummus, moutabal(which is basically aubergine spread, tabbouleh salad with herbs and a big falafel in the middle, and of course a very generous portion of grilled chicken. I was offered baklava bites on the house(which is a traditional dessert). In conclusion I was barely breathing when I walked out. One person eats and drinks more than enough with less than 20 pounds, I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and Muhammed was very helpful with my questions and helped me select the dishes I got.
m. R.
Tried their food first time and turned out to be amazing. Fresh and authentic mezzes. The bread freshly out of the oven was crisp on the outside and soft to chew, excellent.
However I would ask them to review their policy of applying a 12% service charge for sitting in. It is central London but the prices are high already which should somewhat compensate for that. Also it discourages people to bring in families and friends and make big orders. As the bigger the order the bigger the service charge (12% of the price).
N. M.
The food at this place was amazing! However the price for the food was very expensive and I didn't think it was worth it. Still if you are looking to eat Lebanese food this might be a place you should consider as their staff is very friendly! Also the place is a little cramped.
B. C.
Been walking past this place for several months on my way to and from work, and I finally stopped for lunch here last week. They have a set menu choice for lunch and it is a great deal. You get to choose a type of meat for your shawarma (chicken, lamb or mixed), then rice or chips, and then the type of salad (fattoush or something else - I can't remember!). The food comes quickly (even when the restaurant is packed) and was super tasty - the garlic and chili sauce sides add some extra flavour. My friend had the Palestinian coffee and I seriously regret not having that too - I mean, just look at that cool container it comes in! Staff were also very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely come back for dinner.
B. K.
We loved Hiba's Lebanese food. The mixed grill dish, the Hummus and the Fattoush salad were very tasty. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Will be back for sure.
i. D.
Popped in on the way back to our hotel. Unfortunately for us it was close to closing but they were taking orders for takeaway.
Really positive experience, apologised about the delay despite us only really waiting 15- 20 mins for our food. We weren't in a rush really and generally what I'd expect when your asking someone to cook lamb and chicken.
We left with the vine leaves, falafel, spinach pastries, homous and a mix grill. Genuinely beautiful, and will definitely try and dine in next time I'm in London.
Price wise it's not far off what I pay in a restaurant up north for middle Eastern food.
All in all a positive experience
F. M.
An absolute gem. Food was delicious and the service was brilliant. I always go there when I visit the area. Don't miss out.
P. C.
Yummy reasonably priced in Central London :)
N. L.
Excellent service and tasty food. The staff are friendly, attentive and lovely.
The best Lebanese restaurant in Central London. I have eaten there are few times, and it has always been fantastic. Would definitely recommend. 🤩😊👍🏼
S. A.
Really lovely food, varied menu and friendly staff. Highly recommended
F. A.
Good place for breakfast, staff are good , I ordered falafel, hummus and hallomi , I will visit them again 😋
D. M.
My 4th time at this restaurant. With so many options in the area, I keep coming back. Generous portions, many vegetarian and vegan options, great service and good food. Music was a bit too loud for my taste last time, but I would definitely go back.
C. A. C.
Food tastes amazing and is super fresh. Super kind and helpful staff. Loads of vegan options. My bf loved the meat as well. Looking forward to coming back.
M. H. E.
Waiters were welcoming and friendly. We had delicious foods from Lebanese and Palestinian cuisine. It is recommended.
Y. S.
We had a great evening with a big group of 21 people in the basement of the restaurant. The food was amazing, owner and staff where great and all the organanisation with Sayeda was very good. Good communication, amazing food, great staff. Thnx for giving us an amazing evening.
A. R.
Amazing food, lovely staff, reasonable price, great community vibe, good for vegans and veggies, overall great 😁
S. R.
Excellent authentic Lebanese/Palestinian food. Friendly staff and generous portions. Came here often during our visit in London. Will come back again on the next trip.
S.
I could see there were quite a few mixed reviews regarding the service so I thought I would check it out myself.
I wasn't sure on the system when i first entered as to whether you order and then take a seat or vice versa but I was eventually greeted by one of the staff members who sat me down at my seat. I ordered the lamb cubes with rice and salad. The food itself was very nice. Lamb cubes were well seasoned however the rice was a little plain and borderline tastless. The sauces they provided however (chilli and garlic mayo) did enhance it a little and when I ate the food collectively (I.e meat with a little rice, salad and sauce) the balance was just right.
I personally could not fault their service. They were very attentive, came over to check that the food was ok, asking if there was anything I needed and even indulged in a little conversation so not sure why there are a few negative comments. And I can assure you that no one paid me to say any of this lol.
I wouldn't say I have now become regular but I wouldn't be opposed to another visit :)
A. J.
Lovely staff! Food and ambiance are pretty good. We enjoyed our time there!
u.
Went today and enjoyed the food immensely. It was freshly made and hot. Mohammed was very attentive. We always come back again and again
b. c.
Absolutely fantastic staff for great knew exactly what they were doing half a grilled chicken absolutely fantastic definitely coming back for more and nice flavours lovely staff great prices and thanks for the tea you know who you are and had a great time
K. S.
Staff were nice, but after they were done serving me, I could tell I wasn't welcome anymore, but the food was delicious. Portion was small for the price and location but it was good food
A. A.
Good food for okay price! Nevertheless the Shawarma is not the best you will have. Service was good.
A. A.
Delicious food and very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Location is prime bit expensive but it is in central london so you cant really conplain.
T. C.
I eat here at least once a week. The salads are so fresh and tasty, the meat grilled on charcoal and all the usual dips as well as traditional dishes. The staff and owners are so warm and welcoming. It feels like eating at a friend's house. They also do takeaway and deliveries.
N. A.
The food was amazing and the staff was friendly, lovely atmosphere
C. S.
Lovely fresh food which was very tasty. Good service and not expensive. A treat!
I. I.
We had been recommended this restaurant through Instagram during the trending topic of what was happening in Palestine and we wanted to show our support by checking Palestinian places out whilst also going to show our support for the people in the protests held in London. The staff are absolutely wonderful, we wanted to know what they wanted us to try out. Food was lovely and very filling. Would definitely recommend checking this place out and will be returning soon!! 5/5 for us
P. M.
The location is nice and food also was tasty but just portions are pretty small like for this price. The local is really tiny inside and doesn’t looks so nice from inside. I was expecting something more than this exactly while they charge you 12,5% for service. Woman working there wasn’t kind, she just threw menu on our table and left.
A. K.
Great tasting food.. extremely welcoming service. This a place I keep coming back to.
A. C.
had a deliciously filling meal and for such a great price!! amazing service and very chilled vibe. i had a meal on my own and i felt very welcomed and at home. thank you, i won’t be shutting up about hiba anytime soon to my friends ☺️
S. H.
Great place and good food at a reasonable price. Good customer service and waiting time is not long.
They have some nice nonalcoholic beer
Which is very good. The location is very nice just opposite Holborn underground station. They have very clean toilets with Arabian decorations and an oud smell.
There are more sitting spaces downstairs and outside as well.
The variety of food meat, chicken and fish dishes salad and raita amazing.
We ordered fish dish but unfortunately
They served a chicken kabab or grill first I was a bit upset but after tasting the chicken dishes I forgot to complain .
Hope we will visit this place again.
W.
Fantastic authentic Lebanese food! Came for a late night snack - ended up with a feast that I'll soon return to redevour!
Not the most charming photo - but Hiba has probably got the best garlic sauce in all of London! I am yet to be proved otherwise.
Loved my visit at this family run restaurant. The keyword being: family.
M. K.
What a great spot to eat at. The most accommodating, friendly & generous staff you could ask for. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back again very soon!
C. P.
Wonderful food, especially the vegetable wrap and vegan garlic dip. No wait for a table either.
W. S.
My go-to dish whenever I have Lebanese. This is delicious Shish Taouk (chicken). I even had a complimentary mint tea. Friendly staff.
I. A.
Just a one off restaurant on the street. Food is just ok. Service needs attention.!
S. W.
We ordered a large amount of food to cater for an event and the team at HIBA could not have been more friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and very popular with our guests!
F. M.
Amazing food and very friendly staff. Fresh juice is always amazing.
M. F.
Mixed shawarma is very tasty brilliant service nice and clean environment friendly staff highly recommended.
S. S.
We had an amazing feast at Hiba when we popped in there for lunch. Customer service was a definitely 5 star with such delicious food and how it was presented to us. Portions were so big i was actually stuffed at the end .. good food and excellent customer service
H. M.
Visited last Saturday with my husband, had the most succulent lamb dish, with rice, pita, grilled veg, salad - the lamb spices were a taste sensation and the fresh mint in the salad was refreshing. I can't believe I have only now discovered this restaurant. Good value, friendly hardworking staff, fresh food cooked with skill. It is my aim to now try every dish on the menu, eventually.
E.
Absolutely delicious vegetarian meze, lovely atmosphere, great service, nice toilets. Couldn't ask for more.
S. K.
Love it! Food quality, the taste, the portion, the service, just brilliant. Work nearby so it's my 'go to' place for lunch most days.
R. C.
Insanely good food! The guys in there are gorgeous, service was wonderful and the food was incredible. We went for the vegetarian options - quick service and hearty portions. Will definitely be eating there again 🥳
s. a.
Food is absolutely delicious! Prices and portions are great, and the customer service is perfect! Coming back for sure!

The restaurant is very cozy and nicely decorated. The food is delicious and the menu has a wide variety of choices. All staff is friendly and in particular Mohammed and Ahmed are very polite and smiley offering an exceptional customer service. Definitely recommended!

Love the food, just amazing service. Person serving us was so nice and polite.

Me and a friend went today, absolutely lovely food. Service was on point, food was great. Price is very decent along with portion. Would definitely go again and recommend. In the busy streets of Holborn this little gem is here.
S. F.

A. D.
Wonderful atmosphere like being back at Haifa. Deffi will co e back again.
M. S.
Chose to eat here on our way to the British Museum. Had the Today's platter which had a selection of mezza and grills. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going back.
M. A. E.
This’s one of my best experiences in London, It was a breakfast in a small group. Falafel, Foul, Sodjok, shawarma and all the varieties we had were amazing and all fresh. Service was exceptional and Aziz the waiter is a gentleman who does his job with passion. Will definitely come again!
P. C.
Traditional Palestinian / Lebanese restaurant with relaxed and informal (as one would expect) dining along with friendly service.
Authentically spiced food catering to both carnivores and vegetarians.
S. R.
Good food. Nice portions. Loved it.
T. Z.
I don't know if it's just the pandemic but was recently disappointed with their food. Previously had great experiences which is why I came back. But the last time the meat just tasted like it had no spices/sauces added and was just boiled and put in the wrap. Still giving three stars as they had impressed before and really hope they get through the pandemic safely. Customer service is also consistently great here across all the branches. Very warm, genuine, and friendly staff. Wish you all the best!
S. J. A.
The shawarma is beautiful and halal. 10/10 shawarma finest in London/UK. Quality top notch. Price very reasonable and totally worth it. The drinks are pretty good too.
Q. N.
I Absolutely LOVE this place. Amazing food all freshly made. The humus is out of this world and the service is brilliant. #cheffahmedhumus
G. J. R.
super slow service, even when the place is nearly empty. the basic vegetarian platter is ok, but nothing special.
N. M.
So glad this restaurant was exactly where I left it before lockdown. The only reason I survived my forced isolation was the endless day dreams of fatoush, majedra and their fresh bread and hummus. .. First dine out and loved it! Staff are amazing as if the menu. . Well worth the wait.
K.
Extremely hospitable and welcoming, loved the experience. Nice portions, wrap was juicy, delicious and really well-seasoned. Had a nice cup of tea with some delightful baklava with it too.
Will definitely be coming back soon!
K. N.
Amazing Palestinian and Lebenese food, great service, with a friendly atmosphere. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her birthday meal.
S. H.
Beautiful place, very lovely staff! And above all the food was amazing!!! Highly recommended.
V. B.
LOVE this place. Staff is always super warm, welcoming and professional (Mo has served us every time we came for dinner and he’s just great!). Portions are always perfect, especially for the prices, and meals are flavourful and fresh. I love the halloumi wrap and their baklava is top notch!! I love taking my friends here and will continue to do so :)
S. A.
Edit: 5 to 3-stars. Very hit and miss. Falafel wrap deal; last 3 times, no cutlery, cold wrap, forgot the drink, staff getting lazy.
Old review: Great food and staff
N. S.
We had a great meal at Hiba Express, lovely welcome and service, food was excellent and both boys loved it. Best ever Halumi was the comment from our 7 year old.
M. A.
Really enjoyed my meal here, the portions were very generous for all starters and meals (I'm a big guy, so pleased with this).
The mixed grill was well cooked and reminded me of being back home in Lebanon ;)
The service was great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
T. R.
We just had a lovely experience here with the best service by the owner Aziz! Definitely recommend with yummy shawarmas and mezzas for a late night bite
D. W.
Great range of Lebanese classics, friendly and helpful staff. Takeaway boxes provided if you can't finish the generous portions. Quirky decor.
J. D.
I enjoyed the food here ☺️. Welcoming friendly service. Would recommend!
T. M.
The service that Hiba offer is exceptionally friendly and professional. I used them for catering for a party I was throwing, and Sayeda was so incredibly sweet and helpful. She really tried to understand exactly what I needed, and was so accommodating to the dietary requirements we had, with a majority of the food being vegan and gluten free. She responded to all my emails so quickly, and ensured I was happy at every stage. It was such a pleasure to liaise with her, and even upon delivery, the men who delivered the food from Hiba were so lovely. The food itself was incredible, and everyone at the party wanted to know who had made the food! I really appreciate the amazing level of care that was given throughout, and I can't wait to order more delicious food from Hiba soon!
s. r.

H. C.
Amazing place to visit and lovely food with excellent service by the staff.
T. R.
Great food and service! Also very friendly staff, especially mr. Aziz who helped us that evening
M. L.
Stumbled across this place while starving without any good recommendations from local friends. Decided to take a gamble and this place really paid off! We got the mixed grill and mixed shawarma and the portions we're really big. Wait staff also provide some really addicting spicy sauce. Ambiance was nice too. 11/10 would come back.

Came here with my kids and had a yummy dinner. Food was delicious, authentic and the shishtawouk (chicken) was grilled to juicy tenderness. The owner treats you like family and is humble and kind. The service and the atmosphere all amount to a delicious meal. I'll be back for sure!
M. K.
Lovely people, great food and great service. The hummus beiruty is delicious, as are their shawarma wraps. My husband and I order from here regularly. Would definitely recommend.
A. A.
I used to be a regular at Hiba. And it has been always great. Today I visited with friends we ordered lots of food including meal for 4. It only came with 2 main courses and lots of mazes. We were surprised as it should be meal for 4, we told the waiter and he said thats the quantity they do. We kept talking then the Manager, Mohamed, came in which it was very a bad experience, least thing I can describe it with. He just said thats what they have and thats it, we were very polite and we were surprised by the reaction. We really thought about just leaving the restaurant at this point cause of the bad handling of the Manager. We didn't as Hany, the waiter who was serving promise to fix it, he got us extra dish, and he handled it well. I would have given 1 star and highly doubt to go again unless Hany did what he did. Otherwise food was great and that was a single instance. But I hope they clarify their menu and care more about the customer satisfaction.

Amazing food, so fresh and tastes delicious 😋

My absolute favourite restaurant in London - great food, great people, great atmosphere. The food served is Lebanese/Palestinian and is phenomenal - authentic and very generous on portion size! Great for lunch, dinner, or snacking - their take out option means I can easily pop in and get some hummus to take home (you haven't experienced Hiba if you haven't tried the hummus!). Staff are super friendly and always up for a chat. A great place to experience the true diversity of London.
L. l.
Good food and good vibes
Will be back again when in the area.
r. h.
Delicious food, friendly service. Great end to our day out.
L. W.
I often come here for a proper lunch. The portions are huge and the food is always consistently good. There is lots of choice and it caters for my gluten free needs as long as I remember to tell them not to give me bread with whatever I order (have saffron rice and you won't feel shortchanged I promise!). The fresh orange juice is a nice treat too. I recommend this place if you want something more than a sandwich in an area that is very heavy on the standard lunch options. It is quick service too but you will move slowly on a full and satisfied stomach so be prepared!!
S. B.
We went there with our 8 week old baby. Right from the start the staff was so accommodating and caring towards serving us. They moved furniture to make way for our pram and one of the waitresses even held our baby when she saw me struggling to eat with one hand. Service get 10 out of 10.
And the food was delicious as well. We ordered a mix of vegetarian mezze and some wraps, all super delicious and very good value for money.
Will definitely visit again.
T. H.
Lovely food and very friendly staff. The shawarma was tasty and extremely juicy
U.
I gave 1* extra because of the very comfortable way the kind staff dealt with the last minute change of order from wraps to meals.
The food tasted good, but the rice had a hardened layer on top. This means that the rice was left out long enough to go from soft when just fresh to hard. Still tasted great though.
My unhappiness stems from 2 points. #1 the cold plates made hot food feel luke-warm, and #2 my biggest argument was with the atmosphere.
It's not a family restaurant place, but a quick decent lunch meeting place. The seating was too cramped and it was a very noisy atmosphere, the music was too loud which made thinking about what to eat hard and was difficult to enjoy the meal in peace.
Really good food itself though and I would definitely go for a quick lunch.
4 stars out of 5, let down by cold plate and noisy atmosphere.
R. R.
Amazing food, great service and very nice staff. They were very helpful in picking our orders and super available and on top of the entire service. At the end they gave us tea and sweets, the perfect way of finishing a great meal. I definitely recommend it.
S. A.
Word can not express how much I love this place. On my first visit I was greeted by a funny, charming and amazing waiter who made the whole experience worth while, and that was before the food came in. I soon as we were served (something that was recommended because I have knowledge of Palestinian/ Lebanese food) I thanked my friend who had recommended this place. The atmosphere was relaxed and homey. My only issue tight seating arrangement but that could have been due to the large crowd present that day. Other than that small issue, amazing!
J. M.
Stumbled across this gem. Will be back when in the area. Reccomended the lamb wrap.
W. S.
Food was fantastic, and the service was great
S. S.
Nice place for lunch if you're working in central London. Good range on the menu with some dishes that I tasted when I lived in the middle east. Great vegetarian and vegan selection with a specific menu too. I didn't know they had other branches in London so will be excited to try them.
N. H.
Excellent food. Fresh and tasty. Will revisit. Well done.
C. P.
Food was okay, very wet chicken wrap, which meant it stuck to the paper it was wrapped in. Fell apart after a bite but was very tasty. Also the wait time for take out was very long, ended up spending 20-25 minutes waiting for my food without prior warning. Overall good food, would recommend eating in to avoid my negative points.
s. a.
Great food good service would definitely reccommend as its difficult to find a halal restaurant in central london
E. M.
I really enjoyed eating at this place! They have the best chicken shawarma, it's very delicious and tasty. Their customer service is perfect. Highly recommended x
Thanks Hiba Team
N. K.
Love this place! I walked by and decided to dine with my friends and I am so glad I did. The staff are courteous, efficient and we received a warm welcome. I don't like eating out at different places as I am a creature of habit and often worry about cleanliness.
We asked the staff to describe dishes and the two members of staff were unbelievably patient with us.
We ate a lovely lentil based rice, some grilled chicken and amazing salad. Their homemade lemonade was amazing!
Would I come back? Definitely
Was the food good? Yes, above and beyond my expectations.
How would I rate my experience? 10 out of 10
And.. my stomach loved it too! I will be back. And the lady manager with the fabulous hair even joined us for a chat!
C. J.
I love the food and the staff at this place. They always remembered my name and my order. Such a great spot and they are open late.
m. c.
What a gem in the heart of London! The place looks fantastic, cosy, friendly, chic, plenty of attentive staff, it's already the second time in two weeks.
Tried the vegetable soup, vegetable mousaka, falafel, spring rolls, all very delicious, loved the soup and the mousaka on a cold day after work. Next visit we will try from the meat menu.
Prices for portion it's very decent regarding how good the food is and the central location, 28£ for two, service charge included, very happy with that.
Keep up the standards ( and down the prices 😉 ) and we will keep up with our visits!
Sukran!
A. H.
Great food, staff, portion and prices. Definitely coming here again 👍👍
U.
Really good food with a lot of options for vegans and vegetarians. The main seating area in the restaurant is clean, and the prices are reasonable.
Most importantly you will feel psychologically comfortable, because the waiters are really nice.
S. M.
Quality food and quality service. Highly recommend this place.
J. S.
It was decent. The food was nice but was pushed out quite slowly. Service wasn't too great, had to reorder 3 bottles of water quite a few times because our order kept being forgotten. When the water finally came, they actually forgot to bring glasses as well. So that meant no drinks for the first 45 minutes.
I. B.
Excellent place to eat high quality Lebanese cuisine in Holborn. Just round the corner from the tube. Great food and service. The Babaganoush was outstanding. Many thanks for a warm welcome, great food and service and a very friendly goodbye. I will definitely be coming back when I am in London again.
M. M.
Very Good Restaurant, many choices for all kind of tast
A. O.
Really good customer services. Amazing food and really generous portion for a small bill. My favorite are the mixed grilled, hummus for sure (only here is really nice) and lentils soup. Highly recommend.
A. B.
Lively, authentic, good value. We ordered wraps - falafel, halloumi and spicy lamb sausages. All tasted great and were served with chilli dip and garlic dip. Not high end dining but fab for a quick lunch in central London, looking forward to going again!
Y. f.
Very delicious Lebanese and Palestinian food. The team is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend.
S. O.
Amazing food, tasty and fresh as well as great service. Highly recommended!
O. J.
We came to the restaurant to meet Tarik who works there. We saw his work on their website, his work is fascinating. He welcomed us greatly. He offered us many delicious dishes. He works there as a fruit designer, as an advice, go see and taste, his work will open your appetite.
D. Y.
Very delicious food and big portions. Would definitely recommend it 👌
J. W.
Absolutely amazing. Food was 😋 delicious, no question. Def going back
M. E.
Service was fast and the places was nice and clean. We were greeted quickly and warmly. The food was delicious and staff were really interested whether we were happy. I would love to go again when in the area.
S. R.
Average at best. We were a party of 10 and got seated downstairs. Service was erratic to say the least. Took aaaages to take order; in fact I had to go and find a waiter. Starters were good but the kebabs for main course were variously or both dry and chewy.
A. A.
Nice middle-eastern food. No fuss
C. V.
Today ordered the quick lunch plate with Chicken, Palestinian rice and Fattoush salad. Everything was fresh, tasty and yummy. Smiling service. Well done!! See you soon!
M. K.
Being from the Middle East myself, I say with full confidence that this place serves the most authentic Lebanese/Palestinian cuisine in London. Whenever I felt homesick during my stay in London and craved food from back home, Hiba restaurant was always there to fulfill my appetite. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and takeaway and delivery food tastes as good as eating there! I highly recommend this place!
L. Z.
Amazing food, reasonable prices, efficient and friendly service.
S. K.
One of the funkiest places in central London to stop by, feel welcomed by the hospitality and enjoy fresh Palestinian food and fresh juices. The portion sizes are generous, the place kept clean and bright and you're always greeted by staff who are approachable and have fantastic customer service skills.
Chicken Sharwarma and chips with a fresh fruit juice is something to bring to the party... :)
Love this restaurant for its non pretentiousness!!
A. M.
Wonderful, delicious food created by Lebanese grandmothers - really! We met her :-) The nicest tabbouleh we've ever eaten, every part of our meal was fantastic. My husband reckoned it was the best Lebanese food he's eaten outside of the Middle East. Also pretty good value. Can't wait to return!
D. S.
Service not great if your not Arab. Ladies arriving in hijabs well after we were seated got the silver service week ahead of us. Intifada themed laminate table tops of burning tires somewhat off-putting too
N. A.
Simply delicious. As the other reviewers have said, this is a lovely place with excellent shwarma. Currently one of my top three lebanese in London, alongside Al Arez Edgeware Road, Diwan in Marleybone . I love the fact they bring you sauces without asking. Bravo. Melon juice wasn't quite there - a bit too frothy, but everything else was on more than on point.
G. Q.
Came here for some late night food and food was good but I'd rather the food been served a little hotter than coming out so quickly. The service is great, friendly and kind staff. Menu is has a wide selection of kebabs, hot and cold mezze's and big portions. Definitely value for money in the Holborn area.
m. a.
Very nice middle Eastern food for a very decent price. Waiter was also very nice with us and polite. Service is quick. Recommended place of you're in Holborn
R. S.
I'm a huge fan of this establishment, the restaurant itself may not look very impressive, which is a little disappointing, however, the food is fabulous tasty and always fresh, prices are reasonable, service is friendly. I have been ordering food from this place for over a year, the packaging it arrives in is above average, always nicely packed, and never found liquids leaking like some other food arrives.. I highly recommend this place!
A. L.
Great food, relaxed restaurant. Waiter who served me and my friend tonight was amazing, friendly, humorous and treated us well. Sadly forgot to ask for his name but he had a ponytail and beard. Top lad, good experience first time trying.
N. I.
Excellent Halal Arabic food in London!
E. Z.
Wonderful service and delicious food, I always come here when I'm in Holborn and it never disappoints!
Z. T.
Best Shawarma I've tasted so far. Sadly no salad as advertised on menu.
But that's Holborn for ya.

Amazing food
P. D.
Not the best shawarma in London, but far from the worst. 7/10 shawarma.
P. R.
The "Take Away" is amazing .. love the hummus and tabouleh .. the lamb skewers are just the right spice and prep .. this is a weekly routine for me and for last 5-6 weeks .. the Arees was just right for me and with a cold drink I can think of very few other foods which hit the spot as consistently
K. R.
Really nice food, in a fairly small little authentic feeling restaurant. The waiting staff weren’t the most enthusiastic but for a quick working lunch, I can recommend it.

Went for an early supper (17:30) at Hiba with a friend. Took a bottle of wine from the nearby Sainsburys and they found us a table at the back. It was already pretty busy (over 1/2 the tables occupied). We ordered the Hiba menu for 2 which came with 6 mezzes (a meal in itself) followed by a mixed grill of shish taouk, kafta and shawarma chicken, with bulghar weat and rice and salad, and finally a dessert. There was more food than 2 people could eat. We got to the stage with the mezze where we wanted to eat more but given how much food was on the table for a starter, we reigned in our greed. It was really tasty with a terrific variety, and the staff were delightful. Our initial table could not accommodate the mezzes so they relocated us to another table and moved everything for us. The dessert was a rose water flavoured milk pudding (Mouhallabieh) which wasn't really to our taste, but that was the only downside.By the time we left there were very few spare places. The clientele were eating a range of foods, including wraps and salads. Highly recommended.
P. R.
Vegetarians can feel comfortable here as there are many, many options. I got the halloumi sammie - the only thing that was lacking was the lettuce - it was weak and kinda ruined the taste of the entire meal. But it was still delicious.
G. B.
What was good was v. v. good but what was bad was horrid. Ok, let's get the bad out of the way first. Service started good, then when I had finished, it was as if I was invisible. I was tempted to get up and walk out, I think I might have been successful! But I wanted to try their knafe dessert (semolina with cheese, lovely). Eventually a gorgeous lady came to my rescue, took my order and refreshed my mint tea (no alcohol here) and added a couple of baklava to my dessert. But the knafe had not been microwaved right through, the centre was freezing!
The good? Apart from the life-saving lady, the waiter suggested a novice like me should have Option 1 (out of 60+ items on the menu), a mixed plate. He even said it would take some time since grilling was involved. I read while I waited, no problem. It was delicious to look at, delicious to taste. I cleaned the plate.
I was there early, before 6pm, and it was getting busy then, and just got busier, so I'll forgive them the odd slip-up. They're obviously popular. I'll be back!
S. R.
Been here a few times everytime hopeful that it would be better than the last time, but sadly not. Overpriced and very average food, the place is nice right bang in the heart of Holborn opposite the station but sadly could be so much better. Also tried there lunch time wraps which are ok but nothing special.
a. s.
Went there twice for a takeaway for a falafel wrap and on both occasions it was really nice. Staff were friendly as well. Perhaps the only thing I would say would be that there is too much wrapping paper but this is a minor.
J. P.
I nice Lebanese restaurant in Central London, serving Shawaramas.
Y. G.
Had a lovely evening yesterday with my friends at Hiba Express. Usually we "play it safe" when we go out to eat, but this time we opted to try a new place - Hiba Express. It was our first visit, and we can confidently say that the food was great, the vibe was great, everything in general was just great! We will definitely be visiting again. I noticed that the team are very engaging with their customers, which l think is brilliant. A good example of customer service. See you soon!
M. C.
We had a major delivery to the office from Hiba Express, feeding about 30 people, and it was brilliant from the start to the baklava finish. Excellent meat in the Gaza Grill, wonderful salads and sides and an abundance of flavour throughout. We'll be back for our next order soon, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the food and the service at Hiba!
C. A.
Very busy and noisy but the food is ok overall. It is Lebanese food with a twist or influence from other cuisine. Price was a bit high compared to other Lebanese places but maybe because of the location.
H. Y.
Lovely food and amazing staff. My friends and I fund the place and staff very accommodating specially the chef called Ahmed whom we've requested a lot from, but nothing was to much trouble. We'll definitely be back.
c. t.
Awesome service and the food was divine!!!
M. L.
Been their twice now. Once eat in and once takeaway. Both times good was great. Lovely mixed kebab at very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended
M. P.
Very tasty food and friendly staff
H. R.
Fantastic Arabic food and good service. The place is a bit warm though. From Hummus to Batata Harra to a delicious ”muskhaan” ( chicken in sumac) they have it all! They make many sorts of fresh juice cocktails as well.
A. A.
The food and service was good. The shawarmas are awesome, I would suggest lamb shawarmas is better than chicken. They have kept the prices affordable as compare to mostly central london restaurant. Nice decor. Thank you Ahmed (Chef) Shawarma and falafel was great in taste. Will come and see you soon.
C. G.
Nice and cheap food in Holborn! they did not have lentil soup but had a very nice vegan option, opened in Christmas day. thank you guys!
T. H.
Excellent customer service. Lovely place to sit outside. Cheap and tasty Palestinian/Lebanese food.
D. R.
Great food and good variety of middle east cuisine, but prices are a bit expensive. Asked for student discount the cashier replied the postal code... had fatush salad, small humus lamb swarma and fries, was billed 19 pounds including service.
D. K.
Hiba mixed shwarma is better than German, turkish mixed shwarma, still GDK is my second favourite.
N. C.
Well lit restaurant for a nice casual meal. Portion sizes are really good and the lamb is very soft and fragrant - it was the favourite part of my meal.
J. V.
Lovely food and friendly staff
N. A.
There’s one word that comes to mind: authentic. Genuinely enjoyed the meal here, and although prices were a little on the high side, the quality was worth it. Service was extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling.
M. M.
Best place in Holborn for sit down, affordable, tasty lunch.
M. R.
We're at GOSH and was looking for a decent lunch. This really hit the spot and price wise was very good value for money. Around £7 for a mixed sharwama chips and drink.
Only down side was the amount of oil on the sharwama but still went down fabulously lol.
M. R. (.
Very generous portions, very good and authentic food. At 1am you have the choice between sitting inside and enjoying a meshwi, or queuing at the Macdonald's next door with no sitting and no authenticity. The choice is simple!
S. K.
Amazing people so friendly and want to serve genuinely tasty food, I'll defo be back
M.
Great food and incredibly friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!
A. J.
I had both breakfast and lunch at Hiba Express as it is nicely located outside Holborn station which fit perfect with my visit to the British museum (across the A40 street and slightly to the right). The lunch was excellent but I am going to focus on the breakfast as it was one of the best breakfast I've had and a perfect alternative if the hotel doesn't have breakfast included in the price.
The restaurant was empty except for the chef/waiter who was cooking some tomato-based stew with eggs and fresh vegetables which he recommended me to try. I am generally a bit reluctant when it comes to food described as "healthy" (my eating habits when travelling could make a Scot proud). But I have also come to the conclusion that chefs that are confident enough to recommend food usually are worth trusting. And the dish was absolutely amazing with some Lebanese bread, some hummus and a perfect vegetable stew with egg. I have tried replicating it with some similar recipes on my own but they always turn out with a hint of bitterness compared to what I got at Hiba.
Edit: Also, try the Jellab (a drink made with dates). It is very sweet but delicious.
P. L. M.
The sample plater is the best option! Loved the food and the music.
M. M.
One of the best chicken Shawarma in London
H. E.
Delicious food, rich menu, reasonable prices and amazing service!
Very hospitable staff...they made me feel at home.
Definitely will go there again to try the rest of their dishes.
Quick tip: If you like your shawerma with a lot of tahineh...just make sure to ask the waiter to add more tahineh for you.
Z. T.
Best Shawarma I've tasted so far. Sadly no salad as advertised on menu.
But that's Holborn for ya.

We were greeted by the manager on Sunday afternoon who was very friendly and courteous, he answered our questions patiently, staff was quite friendly and helpful. We asked them to get us some ice cubes as it was really hot/humid that day and they replaced the whole pitcher full of icecubes.
Food was also really good, kafta kebabs were amazing so does the Falafils. Also complimentary bread Olives and Bukhlawas were great too. I will definitely be coming back and will feel happy to recommend them. I am not a big fan of writing reviews but their service has really pushed me to do so this time :)
S. M.
Nice food, good service and nice staff. Very generous plates which work well for big guys like me. Already tried it twice and willing to go one more time before heading back to Saudi!
S. 3. V.
Amazing Hospitality, We decided to just go in to look at the menu because over 50% is vegan and we were greeted by the owner who spoke to us about the origins of the food, after speaking to him we went to leave as we only wanted a coffee and he offered myself and my fiancée FREE home made vegan Baklava and Fresh mint Tea.
We will Definitely be Back, Amazing Food, Beautiful People Thank You
S. L.
The food was delicious, and actually quite large portions; we were both super hungry, and the food was more than enough. Service lacked a bit, but I assume that it was because it was rather busy.
P. S.
Ok Lebanese food, friendly staff
M. H.
I ordered Hiba express through Uber eats, unfortunately I had to wait almost 2 hours because of a delay from the uber eat delivery people. But man was the food worth the wait!! Authentic, full of flavour and so delicious. I will be ordering from you guys more often now!!
J. M.
great food at good price
A. M. I.
Very tasty doner and reasonable priced
M. U.
Had the mix shwarma and the lamb tasted more like roast than any lamb I'd ever had. Service was subpair no one came to check on us during our meal or offer refill or the tables surrounding us.
M. F.
The staff here was really kind and the food is very good 👍
M. A.
I always love Hiba's food and service. Favourite dishes for me are the mujadarra and the chicken shawarma's. And the knafeh is brilliant. Thank you for another great meal ❤️
S. L.
The food was really good, but I think the service could have been a bit better. I ordered a takeaway before I arrived. When I got there I went to the desk and paid for it then the guy at the desk just walked off without saying anything so I assumed he was coming back with the food. A moment later a slightly annoyed looking waiter told me not to stand at the desk waiting because I was in the way and to move down the floor a little bit. Then someone else came along and told me in an equally irritated fashion not to stand there but to sit at one of the tables because I was in the way. Then someone else came along, asked why I was sitting at one of the tables, went off somewhere and came back with my takeaway. He then proceeded to try and charge me again for it!
Of course when I told him I'd paid for it already he said that was fine, but the whole experience was just pretty chaotic. Certainly one waiter telling you to stand somewhere then another waiter coming along and treating you like an idiot for standing there was pretty infuriating.
My advice would be to put a couple of chairs somewhere for people to sit on when they're waiting for a takeaway and have more communication between the people handling the cash desk. This seems to be a common theme with places that are primarily restaurants but also do takeaways - they don't really think about where people should wait and you just have waiters buzzing around them getting annoyed. The food was good but I'd probably be less inclined to go back than I should be because of this.
M. S.
I'm not an expert on Arab food but the food here is good. They have a large menu and the prices of the meals are good. The prices outside the meals are expensive. The staff are friendly most the times but on some occasions not so friendly.
K. -. O. K.
Nice food good quality family made but very noisy when busy. You have to bring your own bottle if you want wine.
C. M.
Excellent location and superb staff and food, I highly recommend eating in, they are also very efficient with their take aways. What more can you want? Try it!
A. A.
Amazing! Been here 3 times and went today for my mums birthday they were so amazing and accommodating! Definitely a favourite restaurant!!! Brilliant service and incredible food!
M. T.
One of the best places in Holborn :)
K. P.
The dishes were decent and fairly priced. Although the service was slow and sporadic, the staff were super friendly. A busy and noisy setting, so be prepared to speak up!
f. r.
Delicious meze...a great vegan option. Generous attentive friendly staff. Great food. Affordable prices. A tiny place. Quite squishy. Downstairs is always closed. Always busy.
J. E. A. G.
Excellent attention and good food, I suggest to try the Palestinian coffee.
E. b.
Very good place to eat some fantastic food! The service is perfect, the food is nice.
M. T.
Average taste, not too bad. Lentil soup more watery than expected. Note that the veg mezze platter has only one falafel.
Y. R.
Amazing food! Highly recommend! I've eaten and ordered from here over 30 times in the past few years. Consistent and top quality every time!
B. M.
Wonderful food that would suit anyone and gibe them a taste of traditional Lebanese and Palestinian at good prices. A relaxed atmosphere and friendly and amazing staff.
A. F.
Hiba Hiba Hiba. This place never fails me. Its a 2 second walk from Holborn underground station. The food is fantastic, the service is great and it is in a prime location. I love the decor of this place. It is easily recognisable from the outside with its purplish glow. Food is a amazing. A must have is the mixed grill or the mixed shawarma. The meat is succulent and juicy and the sides are filling as well. If you're in a rush you can pick up a shawarma rap which is filled with meat ( either chicken or lamb) salad and rapped in Lebanese bread. Price are affordable as well. If you come for lunch it can get quiet busy around 1pm. But all in all a great affordable Lebanese restaurant in the heart of London. Top marks!
D. A. E.
Excellent food, very friendly staff, highly recommended.
W. P.
An excellent local lebanese - the chicken livers in lemon are superb. Full range of lebanese favourites. Queues at lunchtime for the take outs - try ordering by phone in advance. a great local restaurant, easy to miss as you walk past in this busy location.
A. A.
Food could have been a little spicier but I guess thats personal preference. This was a pre theatre meal and we were pressed for time. It did take a while for the waiter to take our order but other than that it was a good experience overall
S. B.
I was quite pleased at the speed of service for a take away meal. They were busy for the lunch rush but the food was succulent and tasty and more than enough for the price of their lunch menu!
A. L.
Nice place in London to have Lebanese food; The quality is good, the meals are not expensive and the staff is wonderful; Also make sure you try their Knafeh!!
M. H.
Lovely Arabic food. Served by a friendly young lady who was polite and efficient. Mashallah...well done....excellent food and experience
I. S.
The food was just fantastic! The waiter's English and a attentiveness could have been better but the quality of the food made up for it, especially given the very affordable price.
E.
Amazing service, very friendly chatty staff. The epitome of Arab hospitality.
S. B.
Amazing food, good service very polite freindly ordered a platter very well presented and tasty. Overall happy and will be back again.
M. R.
Food is decent. But not as good as something you would find in East London. The prices are also a bit higher due to the location. Also, some of the staff are a bit stuck up and seem to look down on customers - which is very annoying.
R. S.
Fantastic food, hadn't visited for a few years after previously being a regular but it's still the same and that is a good thing. Good veggie options
S. C.
The staff are so extremely friendly and there is such a warmth to the atmosphere. The food is top-notch, very delicious! What makes it greater? It is good value for money!
Highly recommended!
A. K.
I usually go there for lunch. The food is good quality and the service is quick which I appreciate.
However, I must say it is by no means cheap when compared to the portions provided.
r. l.
My local restaurant to go to for my lunch. Highly recommend. Great food, good atmosphere and the service by Hussain is always fantastic, always makes me feel welcome.
M. S.
I got the lunch deal when I visited and for the price in central line, it's worth it. The food was decent, the lamb donner was too oily for my liking. The customer service was poor and for that reason I have not been to this place since.

Hiba was excellent. Im a big fan of Lebanese food anyway but Hiba really knows how to do it right. Great selection of Mezze and mains your only problem will be how to fit it all on the table. My only compliant is that it is not closer to my house. :-)

Amazing cheff ahmed! Great unbelievable food! Best arabic food ever had since I arrived to london! Got even free food as a gift plus baklava, let alone the price being very affordable in comparison with central London
I. L.
Great food , ok service, bread could be warmer
S. S.
Hiba has got an excellent fusion of The Mediterranean cuisine offering a wide variety of vegetarian and mixed grill food.
I have tried their mixed grills, Baba Ghanouj and shawarma with Tabouleh. My expectations have been exceeded at every opportunity and I'm looking forward to trying their next plate. I have to mention that their prices are reasonable for London too.
Please play more of the nice quiet Arabic music because this is what we're looking for as opposed to the night club music.
You deserve full grade.

Lovely place. Decent food.

One of my all time favourite lebanese spot. Really good food, good service and great atmosphere! The baba ghanouj is a must try 😋 Well done guy!
D. L.
Halal food, extra seating downstairs, washrooms for customers, outside alcohol allowed but they charge like extra £2 per empty wine glass they provide to drink it there, need to buy mixers from them
A. F.
Food is good and reasonably priced. Service strange: my main came first, followed by my salad, and later my drink, and at intervals that meant I couldn't actually have them together as a meal.
K. S.
Great tasting and selection of food, good service. layout perhaps a little cramped but overall It's an enjoyable place for a quick bite or longer.
E. Z.
Wonderful service and delicious food, I always come here when I'm in Holborn and it never disappoints!

This restaurant has always been my favourite spot in for food in the city of London. All the staff are very friendly and the chef has also been on one of Gordon Ramsey's show #chefAhmadHumus

Not the best shawarma in London, but far from the worst. 7/10 shawarma.
A.
Food is great. Service is ok. I went to pick up lunch and it was really busy, and they didn't give me sauces or my drink.
T. K.
The best Lebanese food . Really warm place and wonderful hospitality. Really yummy food. Must visit.

Visited 11:30am to beat the rush. Found the place to be nice. Staff seemed to be preoccupied with deliveries. Placing my order was difficult, had to wait over 5 minutes though the place was empty.
Food was nice.

Good job for distributing free meals to NHS! Will definitely try this restaurant very soon!

This restaurant offers some of the best Middle Eastern food London has to offer. A truly authentic restaurant with beautiful food, lovely staff and excellent service. A must try!
C. H.
I love shawarma. I had one in Germany a few years ago at Rock am Ring so been looking for somewhere here in London to get one for ages!
S. S.
The dishes were authentic Lebanese. Just that the meat could have been done slightly better and the laban wasn't the greatest
C. C.
Everything was really good and tasty! I suggest the fresh juice, lamb and wrap! I just disappointed with the meal sizes...usually are really big in this places but not here.
D. T.
Great food, with good service, the food is served quickly and is very nice, the chilli sauce and garlic sauce is also very tasty!
Takeaway and dine in both good value for money.
K. P.
Amazing spot for Lebanese food in London! Friendly service too!
U. M.
Quite standard, run of the mill food. Halal and quite affordable though, so that's good. Loved the ambiance of the place too.
P. M.
Good lunch wraps with chips and drink for under £6. Typical Lebanese restaurant fare: mixed grill, humus, kibbe. All delicious
J. J.
A bit expensive for what you get, but the place has great decor (it's much brighter inside than it looks from the outside), the staff are friendly, and the food is nicely presented.
m. q.
One of the most delecouise chicken wings and Shawarma you will eat in London.
Nice location in Central of London.
S. A.
Very average Chicken Shawarma. Maybe large is better value but medium Shawarma should cost half the price.
N. G.
Very good food and service. Ate by candlelight as there was a power cut. Staff were jolly & apologetic about circumstances
b. o.

B. M.
Very tasty food
B. S.
The food was good and the price was fair, the service was very friendly, it is not too cozy and the music was quite loud, not the right place for deep conversation but good to start the evening with friends
A. R.
Mix sharwama salad was nice, the mix grill ok but need to raise the standards as the food was not cooked properly however the service was on point and the chips saved the day.
K. H.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and brilliant service. Really generous portion sizes and the food is really tasty!!
T. B.
The only place open after 10pm on a Sunday in the area. The food was delicious. Felt we overpaid for what we ordered.
D. B.
Although it was busy, I was served quickly. Very relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and food. Would happily recommend.

S. M.
Fantastic food - that's it! Service might could have been better, and no licence for beer/wine - didn't matter.
Z. U.
Deco was nice. Food was normal. London price. I will give them 2.5 stars.
H. E.
Excellent quality, filling portions and reasonable prices. For 2 persons, 1 main dish and 2 sides are good.

One of the best Lebanese places in central London. The fattoush is really worth a try and the wraps are to die for. Keep piling on that tahini guys!
