Reviews of HIDE

Absolutely loved it! I would say it was the most delicious food what I’ve ever had! Service - amazing! Place is so stylish and cool. I’m not that posh person who can let myself to visit places like this too often. But it 100% must have place in central London! Stuff are so nice and polite and you feel comfortable in there. Highly highly recommend to visit it!

Went for a quick lunch. Have heard mixed review about this restaurant. It has very nice decor with natural daylight. Some creative dishes and quite a good collection of wines. Ordered the set lunch and turned out to be better than I thought, great flavours with fresh ingredients and some twists. I enjoyed them, however the services are subpar. One of the managers was quite rude. She’s not professional and even said to me that, “I am explaining to you, this was…” It definitely didn’t make me feel welcome or worth a second visit.

Really loved our dinner experience at Hide. The atmosphere was great, the food was impeccable and the service was excellent. Specially the sommelier who was just outstanding. The flavours were so fresh and complex, it was like taking a food journey. Highly recommend visiting and highly recommend signature acorn cake. A perfect date night destination

We had the lunchtime set menu with wine pairing at Hide to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The staff and service is excellent and the food was amazing… the bread and mushroom broth before the menu even started was amazing and I could’ve happily had 5 courses of that :-) I really enjoyed the squid ink battered spring onion - it was delicious! The restaurant itself is beautiful and it’s a great location in central london looking out over Green Park!

Truly a great overall experience with unique dishes and wines in the tasting menu.
The service and staff were friendly however, more than a few times it felt as though we were being handled by too many individuals and the flow from course to course or wine pairing was disjointed or delayed.
Food was unique and delicious; presentation was beautiful and creative. Will definitely come back.
A. C.
We had the set lunch and it was wonderful. The venue is beautifully decorated and you can’t hear any noise from the street outside. Only slight criticism is the wine prices which in my opinion have quite a high markup (starting at around £50 a bottle). Overall a great lunch experience, thank you!
R. S.
Set lunch at Above Hide was incredible...each dish divine would fully recommend for a celebration. Staff were also amazing, right level of attentive, cocktails creative and wine list had plenty of options at variety of price points
S. C.
A la carte and wine pairing was fantastic. Wonderful cocktails at bar downstairs and great attentive service and knowledge. It's not cheap, the main are about £40 each, and its easy to rack up the costs. However, the overall experience and food was fantastic. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

The atmosphere was okay, I liked the interior of the place which I find very unique. However, it took a very long time for the food to be served (long terms between the starter, main, and dessert) and something that we did not order was delivered to our table - which I suspect was a misunderstanding between me and the server (perfectly understandable). Seeing that we did not touch the dish, she promised it was on them (their mistake) but when we received the bill, the soft shell crab was sadly included. She did apologize, but I expected the service to be a bit more upscale :(

Above the Hide. Tried goose for the first time and it’s good. Love the Dover sole. It comes with truffle which brings the taste up and at the same time it’s very tender and rich! Unique taste

We had a really special experience at Hide. The service is amazing - they remembered it was our birthdays and gave us birthday cards and a candle in the cake at the end, which was so thoughtful. Special kudos to our waiter Nicolae who was really lovely, attentive and helpful and even helped us take photos at the end!
The food is pretty great. We had the bread basket (a definite must-have, I was obsessed with the butter ball), some delicious Giraffa olives and the chicken liver parfait to start. The parfait came with a good chutney that helped to break up the richness of it. My friend wasn’t a massive fan of the brioche that came with it and preferred the bread basket.
For mains we had the ribeye, which came with potato pave, eschallots, bearnaise and a salad - it’s probably one of the better value items on the menu. The salad was incredibly sharp and cut through the fattiness of the meat - which was pretty fatty and tender. My favourite was the potato (my favourite is always the potato, any potato) - it was crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside.
We were pretty full so we shared the medovik (honey cake) - I think it was cream cheese between the layers, which helped transform it into delicate sweetness instead a sugary overload. We also had fresh mint tea, which wasn’t on the menu but they were happy to help.
The bill ended up being about £90pp, no alcohol. It’s not the cheapest meal but I think for the quality of the food, their attention to detail and the overall experience, it’s definitely worth it.

What a fabulous visit to Hide. This was my third visit, twice to Below Hide where the service, wine and cocktails are first class and then yesterday for my mums 80th birthday treat to Hide for breakfast. What an amazing array of food awaited us, all topped off with a special birthday breakfast fruits, candle, chocolate message and a card from Ollie. Thank you all for making my mum feel like the most important person in the restaurant and the food and service was simply first class. Cant wait to dine at @abovehide next time.

On this occasion we are upstairs and opted for the tasting menu. As always the Tasting Menu was exceptional and the service excelled in every way. We selected some fine wines which were promptly brought down from Heddonism just up the road. Yet another of our favourite Michelin dining experiences and truly deserving of a five star review.
L. F.
We had the taster menu, and everything tasted great. However, we found the lettuce stems on ice rather odd (see picture 2 behind the main plate).
The service was great, but the atmosphere could be improved. Given these prices, the restaurant felt too casual (except for the stairs). Perhaps a nice table cloth would have created a more classy atmosphere.
Although we appreciated the cookies they gave us for takeaway at the end, they had a very dry and almost inedible core/filling.
D. L.
We had a beautiful breakfast at Michelin restaurant Hide, with the sun rising over Hyde Park. Everything tasted amazing. The kouigan amann and toasted brioche were a must and their selection of tea and coffee was fantastic! Couldn’t fault the service and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely go again!!
T. H.
Absolutely blown away. Eaten at a lot of very good places but this was without doubt the best food I've ever eaten. The service was also incredible. I see a second star on the horizon
C. H.
We came here for their lunch tasting menu. The food was amazing and the service was great. The only thing I would say is that given I don’t drink wine the cocktail menu was a little disappointing. But would recommend this restaurant to foodies or someone wanting to eat at a star restaurant that has a lunch deal.
L. M.
TOTALLY LOVE IT!
I had an amazing lunch at Hide. First of all, I love the name of the restaurant. It's like a secret place and you don't want anyone knowing it and as much as I would like to keep this restaurant to myself, I think they deserve the recognition. On a side note, I really wished I had spoken to the chef. Staff service, just as you walk into the door, was already impeccable. I was ushered to my table, and as I arrived, someone had already pulled the chair for me, and offered a smaller folding chair for my jacket to sit on (perhaps meant for bags, but I didn't have one). Minute details, people!
It was a phenomenal five-course lunch and still have me thinking as of writing. Each bite was flavourful, my personal favourite were the egg nest and poached tamarillo, even the selection of breads were symphonic. It was such a calm and unrushed gastronomic spectacle with a complimentary overlooking view of the park and the busy street from (Above). Trying to take advantage of the spare time, I was able to sit for a drink at their underground bar with a special tour to their wine cellar.
Perhaps their eight-course menu will be worth coming back.
G. Y. T.
great service great food great interiors. good value set lunch. huge wine menu. lovely bread basket. what more to ask for!

Great experience! The food is great, really loved the design of the restaurant, and the wine menu is absolutely exhaustive. The staff are all super friendly too 🙂

It was an absolute pleasure to have lunch at Hide last weekend! It was my first visit at Hide above for a celebratory birthday lunch. We had a set lunch menu and every thing we tried was special. Starting with delicious variety of bread (some served warm 🤤), mushroom broth, fresh lettuce with interesting dip and charcuterie, for the starters we shared the beetroot rose on ricotta cheese and beef tartare - both beautifully served 😍. My favorite dish was the pork cheeks on tempura aubergine - absolutely delicious 🤩 However the biggest surprise was the amazing Zerbinati melon for the dessert. I have never tasted a melon so nice and sweet in my life. As a surprise we have also received a birthday cupcake with a candle and a birthday card which very nice😊 Finally, the beautiful interior and the staircase just add to the experience. Strongly recommend for special occasions, will definitely come back and will be happy to try Hide on the ground as well!

Second time at Hide above. Food excellent and service very slick. Love the fact you get access to the hedonism catalogue and that the mark up is surprisingly small. Not something you would normally see in a place of this calibre. Went all out with the upgraded main and cheese board. The wagyu was like nothing I've ever tasted before. I like it here but both times I've come out wondering what the hell happened when the bill arrived! Incredibly expensive but the experience is well worth it. Dropped a star because the sommelier wasn't very friendly and rather robotic
R. O.
I went to Hide Above and it was phenomenal. From start to finish the staff were very professional, attentious and friendly. The food was exceptional - the Glazed A5 Wagyu beef, violet mustard, black truffle and sparassis was the best dish I had this year. Sublime. In addition, the decor, wine pairings and the view round the Hide Above to a 10/10. Fully recommend.
Y. F.
Had a wonderful time and experience. The food and service was really good. You can preorder halal chicken which I did.
J. S.
Always enjoying dining at Hide.
Having eaten both upstairs and downstairs I must say I'm very impressed with how different they are and able to offer you two totally different experiences at the same restaurant.
E. F.
Fantastic fine dining modern restaurant, a gorgeous space and if you’re seated upstairs a fascinating view into the glass-walled kitchen. Eye-wateringly expensive but the food is fabulous so well worth it for a special occasion. Sommelier in particular is superb.
V. I.
Absolutely loved our lunch there. Everything was so creative and really tasty. I adored my venison main. There were many extras, and the bread was delicious! Everything was smooth and it took us over 3 hours (glad to spend it there). Will come back ❤️
I. F.
Had the 8 course tasting menu with the classic wine pairing and additional cheese course. Food was exquisitely presented with exceptional flavours and textures, all perfectly rounded off with individual wine pairings per dish, including a wine pairing tailored to your personal cheese selections. A definite dining experience.

What strikes you first when you walk into Hide is the beautiful staircase, which takes you up to the most wonderful view over Green Park. After this you slowly start noticing the attention to detail, and the meticulous design that makes up this calming space. The food is brilliant and different to anything experienced before. Service is faultless.
J. Y.
Modern, inspired cooking with seasonal ingredients. Everything was good; particular higlights were charcoal baked flatbread, the blackcurrent leaf soft serve and the salad of mixed greens (the crunchiness of the toasted seeds combined with the tanginess of the yuzu dressing, delicious!)
4 stars because the service was a bit slow and the staff seemed tired.
Otherwise, would return. The set lunch menu was good value of money!

WOW! the decor is phenomenal so classy yet rustic. the food is presented amazingly and was so tasty. The staff were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant! Definitely worth visiting if you haven't already as it was an amazing dining experience.
L. I.
Love this place, have tried Above, Below, Ground etc. They have an amazing wine list for all budgets (they can also bring wine from Hedonism cellar). I believe if you want you can even bring your own wine for corkage fee. Food is great! Sometimes they have some minuses like strange background music choices (70s rock last time) but these are small things.

We have visited this restaurant a year ago but up to this day it has been my favourite restaurant in London. We have visited it last July and then in February we have ordered a Hide at home menu for Valentine's day. While the hide at home wasn't as nice as the experience in the restaurant it was still an awesome experience.
What is so unique about this restaurant? Absolutely everything, with the star being the food and the staff. Starting from how perfectly matched tasting menu I received based on my pescetarian dietry requirements. The food was divine to say the least. We loved everything apart from langoustine (not sure if it is still served but that was disgusting. We were told by the waiters that most of the guests don't finish it). Moving to the wine. Although, the wine list is very long, the recommendation we have received from the sommelier was better than what we could have imagined. The wine was professionally served, poured into a carafe so that it could breathe and was a show on its own. The wine was really great if we had remembered the name we would have bought it again ourselves. The choice of cheeses is also unique as you are being shown possible selection before ordering while receiving a description of every cheese delivered by the waiter.
Everything here is perfect, the restaurant is beautiful, the staff is professional, the wines are out of this world (it is not a place where you will get a mediocre wine and be charged 300% more than the retail price), and the food is unforgettable. The experience here is worth the price tag and I have not yet found a restaurant in London that could match HIDE's standard.
My only recommendation would be: if you are booking a longer tasting menu with addition of cheeses and some tea at the end, book an early dinner. We have booked a table for 8pm and left around 1am
J. X.
Great atmosphere and service, the food was a bit underwhelming. Fish was a bit over cooked. Great wine selection 👍👍

Can’t remember what that egg snd truffle dish is called but must order when you coMe here. Excellent taste and presentation to everything they lay on the table . If you like 5 star breakfast then must come here. This place represents London at its finest with staff trained to the highest standard.
Highly recommended

Food was incredible, wine list exceptional and a very friendly no rush service. Me and my wife are very impressed and will be back surely.
E. H.
Absolutely delicious breakfast menu, very receptive to dietary restrictions. Sister recommends the French toast and the glazed croissant, I had the full English (made sure it was dairy free!)
Great tea selection.
Lovely atmosphere and the stair case!!! Love
S. F.
One of the most delicious restaurants in England, it has a varied menu for breakfast, and it also has a beautiful indoor seating
S. K.
The most incredible restaurant with amazing food. Everything was a 10/10. Highly recommended the crab starter and steak meal which is portioned per person.
A. L.
I love HIDE, they have never disappointed.
Food is phenomenal, drinks always topped up. Service is attentive and prompt.
Took my mum for her birthday and they presented her with a little Canelé, candle and card. Thanks guys, great as ever
J. A.
Delicious food, beautiful interior, from the starters to the main dish it was perfectly presented. It was so good that I've just wished the portions were a little bigger 🙈
V.
A wonderful dining experience, great atmosphere and lovely views. We really enjoyed our lunch at Hide Above.
Food: We opted for the lunch set menu. My wife is vegetarian, no set lunch menu is offered but they very generously allow you to select 3 dishes from the a la carte – incredible. The Gem, Bread & broth and Flesh & bone were the first dishes and some of the best. The Broth was beautiful. For me, the dish of the day was Beef tartare with alliums & tarragon – not only delicious, but presented so elegantly.
Staff: Started a touch slow then was seamlessly delivered thereafter, pushing above 1 star service for me. Lately, even top end places have struggled for staff, that doesn’t seem to be an issue at Hide. The staff even gave us a little cookie to takeaway as it was our Anniversary.
Wine: Menu is extensive and showcased on a nice iPad, which helps you to filter through. I’m not a wine buff, but appreciated the range of wines and ability to filter according to my budget. Something I really like to see is half bottles, perfect when you go for lunch (drink less) but also allows you to go for a bottle you otherwise may not have picked, making higher end wines more accessible.
Vibe: We went for lunch, which makes it a touch less formal. The whole environment plays into the moto on the website – which I can confirm is true: There is no compromise, there is no rush. True hedonists linger Above.
Tip: Call ahead, see if you can get a table right at the window at Hide Above.
J. P.
Went for the 8 course tasting menu. Excellent food and service as you would expect. We had a great table for four in the corner by the window overlooking Green Park. My only regret is having a fairly huge lunch prior to this!
N. M.
Really delicious meal - each dish is unique and outstanding, the wines/drinks are incredible and the service is on point
E. H.
We went to Hide for my friend’s birthday last weekend and everything about it was perfect. We went for breakfast and the food was incredible, the waiters were attentive, kind and well-informed when asked questions about the menu and everything was aesthetically pleasing. The interior of the restaurant is so beautiful, lots of wood; the star of the show being the wooden staircase. My friends kept going on about the soap and handcream on the bathroom, it was apparently their favourite brand - I forget what it is but regardless of that the bathroom was lovely. They also gave her a card for her birthday which was a nice touch. The size of the table that we were seated on was spacious, sometimes London restaurants cramp people on small tables but it was nice to have room around us and on the table as we order lots of little plates. I really couldn’t recommend Hide enough, we will definitely be back!
S. B.
Me and my wife went there for a date and we both absolutely loved it. The food was amazing. Outstanding service. I would definitely recommend this place.
K. P.
Amazing not only culinary experience.. food is delicious, staff knowledgeable and very polite and restaurant interior design impeccable, thought to the smallest detail.
J. S.
Incredible place! You can enjoy the traditional full English breakfast with the Spanish touch of Morcilla de Burgos. Highly recommended!
K. Y.
The food was good but the service has alot of work to do. My wife's handbag sat on the floor the whole time, which wouldn't have been a problem until close to the end of our meal someone sat next to us and they put out a little table for their handbag.
At the end of our meal I was asked if I wanted a coffee, was given a coffee menu and then no one returned. I eventually got someone's attention for the bill and asked if we could go downstairs for a drink was told yes and to let them sort us out a table, 10 minutes later we were still sitting there so we left. All in all wouldn't go back, there are way better restaurants in London.
D. K. T.
Came here for Above. Had the 7 course tasting menu and it was incredible. Quite the unparalleled experience.
S. N.
We had a very nice 5 course meal right after the UK indoor dining ban was lifted. Atmosphere was appropriate for Mayfair and food was excellent. Good presentation, cooked/prepped well, although nothing really stood out as memorable. Service was very attentive but they missed my dislike of cheese on couple dishes (parmesan in pesto for lamb, cheesecake at end). Not a big deal overall, but at this price point they could exclude or offer alternative. Overall, it was good meal and experience.
J. G.
Delicious cocktails and dishes that put an extra twist on the norm....quite unique flavours...interesting!
Y. C. L.
Nice food. Service is nice.
Was there on new year Eve. Music was definitely TOO loud. And personally I don't think the music suit the restaurant.
Nice bar.
B. L.
Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Staff we're friendly and attentive. The tasting menu was the most incredible dining experience we've ever had, every dish has an incredible, interesting flavour presentation is refined and elegant. Strong focus on the best quality prdoduce and ingredients put together with a twist of pure genius from the head Chef - Bravo

Came here with my girlfriend on the last evening of eat out to help out. We opted for the 3 course set menu.
My girlfriend had the Tartare of lightly smoked organic salmon, avocado & pickled blueberries, Roast Cornish cod with warm potted shrimps, and Chocolate, saffron & sunflower tartlet.
I also started with the salmon, choose the Warm veal rillettes, mushroom shavings & pickled garlic buds with added black truffle. For dessert in also had the chocolate tartlet.
Additionally we ordered the Home-cured charcuterie of Goose with sage & fenugreek, Saddleback pork with oregano & fennel seed and Cornish lamb with rosemary. These went very well with the bread & olives.
All the food we had was delicious and well presented.
Service was excellent & efficient and its a lovely venue with a beautiful set of stairs in the centre.
A. S.
Delicious! Came here for wife’s birthday, was not disappointed. Recommend everyone to try the poached Chilean sea bass. Great atmosphere and service!
M. R.
We went to Hide Above and were very positively surprised. Really interesting combination of flavours, the food was excellent, we also loved the wine paring, impeccable service and presentation. Plenty of space to social distance. I would highly recommend.
D. J.
Amazing experience, food is great, wines- insane amount of choice due to Hedonism and delivered quickly. Service is incredible too! Will be back
M. M.
Service and meal were absolutely amazing. We stayed in the shadow room for a wedding dinner and it was exactly what we hopped for.
A. M.
EVERYTHING about my experienced was perfect. The online reservation, the location, the interior, the service, the menu, the food and even the music. The bread basket alone was one of the best I’ve come across and the set menu was incredible. The view over the park was stunning. Attentive and prompt service, a knowledgeable sommelier and perfect cuisine made this one of the best set lunches I’ve ever had.
H. L. F.
We started our night with cocktails and they had an amazing list to choose from (I think I had a Adam&Eve and it was 👌). The staff were attentive and they took care of the little details which are greatly appreciated. A well curated menu of high quality ingredients. Smashed it 👏
M. D.
No words can describe how great this place is. Everything is top top notch! Without doubt a must try!!!
M. D.
Delightful food in a nice setting. Staff were really friendly and it didn't feel pretentious at all. The tomato and basil starter was delightful, you can tell the ingredients are exceptionally good quality.
I ordered the courgette main (as an alternative to my usually meat laden dishes!) and was slightly disappointed by the lack of flavour. I'd definitely return to sample their other dishes though!
J. L.
Great place for a evening dinner. The atmosphere was great, decoration was beautiful. My wife is pregnant and the staff were amazing towerds us without we needed to ask. They are very attentive, polite, friendly, and caring. What a excellent customer service from this restaurant.
Food were amazing. Would definitely come back again.
Location is great. Right in the centre of London, the nearest underground station is Green Park with 3 minutes walk.
M. C.
The environment here is very good, just next to Green Park. Spanish-style rotating stairs are great, the waiter's service is very considerate, and they will help you keep your clothes. The lamb steak is delicious, and I like the freshly baked bread best.
M. C.
Such a sensational fine dining experience, I had the plesure to dine upstairs and I will never forget. Thanks for the warm welcome and the extreme attention and care for details. My favorite dish it was the Jerusalem artichoke hazelnuts starter😍
A. S.
We went downstairs to the bar for drinks and a dessert. All of it was delicious! Super cool ambiance and great, friendly service
S. G.
Great place just in front of Green Park. Today I've been to HIDE Above (the Michelin starred restaurant on the upper floor) and Hide Below, the cocktail bar on the lower level. The tasting menu is great, super tasty and beautifully presented
And it comes in 3 different styles: normal, vegetarian and vegan. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, and so is the staff. Beautiful smell all around from the bakery downstairs. Definitely recommended! I'll be back to try the ground floor restaurant, for a more informal meal or brunch. Well done!
K. s.
Highly recommend this place! We had the Saturday brunch menu (£48 per person) at hide ground, some finger food to start with then follow by starter (chose the waffle & burrata) , main course (crab linguine & beef short ribs) & dessert (rhubarb soft serve & chocolate brioche). Everything is so yummy, good vibes and friendly service!
A. I. (.
Fantastic lunch experience for my girlfriend’s birthday! We booked a table at “Above at Hide” (their fine dining area upstairs when you walk through the iconic staircase!) and the least I can say is that their set lunch menu is in no way inferior to their tasting menu. For £48 you get to enjoy the very best that HIDE has to offer in three courses (plus amuse bouche and migniardises). After having a very refreshing mushroom and verbena broth to awake our palate we had a bite at their intriguing (but nonetheless tasty) “flesh and bone”. Then for starters, we both went for their revisited version of a beef tartare (each portion was gently nested under an allium) served with a tarragon reduction. For mains, we also both went for the succulent, melt in the mouth barbecued iberico pork served on a crunchy aubergine tempura. And to finish, we both enjoyed a roasted apricot served with an almond and soy ice cream. The staff event brought a little canelé with a candle on top to wish my girlfriend a happy birthday which was a simple yet very attentive gesture! Anyway, all in all we had an amazing time at HIDE and we would come back in a heartbeat.
D. L.
The service at Hide is what you would expect for a Michelin star restaurant. Chairs for handbags, phone chargers in tables and excellent servers really show the class of the restaurant.
The wines were the best part of the whole meal. There are so many variety’s and interesting flavours that you will definitely go home with a new favourite.
The food was really good. The signature nest egg the obvious stand out. The final dish wasn’t to my liking but I’m glad they took a risk rather than playing safe.
S. D.
Great food and epicurean experience.
We booked the private dining room. (the reading room) which I would highly recommend for intimacy and celebrating a special event.
The flatbread to ‘graze’ with black truffle and stacciatella was fantastic. Highly recommend going to Hide solely for this dish.
The starters of Jerusalem artichoke agnolotti was excellent with subtle flavours.
Favourite mains was the barbecued octopus and the duck with Ras el hanout.
Warm acorn cake and madeleines were a great ending to a lovely meal.
Highly recommend it!
A. T.
Came here with some friends. Went for the 3 course dinner special. Macareel for starters, Veel for the main and a lemon cake for dessert.
The portions was too generous. Already felt full from the starter and a bit of bread. Everything was very tasty, especially the mussels sauce. The mood lighting was very nice.
R. M.
The place is awesome, you definately get the wow factor when you walk in (best staircase (you have to go to appreciate)). The food was delicious and the bar downstairs is great. The bar staff were so friendly and willing to offer guidance at the vast array of cocktails on offer.
Is not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. I dined in HIDE Ground so looking guard to try HIDE Above next.
If you like bourbon then the Old Fashioned cocktail made with their house rye bourbon is the way forward
M. C.
Had an exceptional dinner with my wife for my Birthday.
The 8-course tasting menu was fantastic. I also combined it with the ”classic” wine pairing.
Tables were socially distanced nicely.
Staff were super friendly and knowledgable.
Sommelier was incredibly educational.
Highly recommend for that special occasion.
L. S.
Excellent food, delicious cocktails. All ordered was beyond expectation. The downside was that they seem to be in a hurry , we were about to finish our starters and the waiter was already asking if the plates could be taken away then again I was still chewing the last bit of my main and the waiter took the plates of the table. The reservation of the table is for 2 hours and we left the place within 1 and a half so I couldn't understand their hurry.
E. m.
Warm service and really tasty food. I was a bit worried at the start as we were left on our own at our table a little longer than I preferred but the evening took a very pleasant turn. Staff are really knowledgeable and the dishes are presented very beautifully. Wish we had ordered the tasting menu but had to opt for a la carte since we had a late lunch. Highly recommended!

What an experience. The food is so unique packed with flavour and very tasty. The staff are on point what a service, care attentiveness...its just amazing staff discipline, amazing place and a great treat.Definately will be back.
N. A.
A new and delicious experience, definitley coming back.
A. L.
Excellent experience! Apart from the main taste standard, the rest are outstanding especially the dessert. Ground floor brunch menu - £48 pounds three course meal plus food to share and a wine.
T. L. (.
Service was perfect!
But food was a bit disappointing 🥲
Over priced I think.
Not really surprise or delicious.
M. K.
Good service & nice interior
Limited menu for vegetarian
Acorn cake was really good
N. V.
Great place to hide. From the city noise, crowds on the streets, and all the craziness around. The breakfast was fabulous. Eggs Benedict are phenomenal. But never allow yourself to try banana bread. It’s so fresh that melts in your mouth and you won’t be able to stop. The interior deserves special attention- all the wood and custom made furniture.. Just wow. Reservations are required. Suitable for private events
J. D.
Hide does not place itself under a bushel, the food is on the next level. I went for the 5 course tasting menu (I did think I would get more food once I left but that wasn't the case).
Alongside amazing food you are extremely (sometime a little too extreme) attentive staff. They are very knowledgeable and are on hand for every need.
This place isn't cheap but for a special occasion I would definitely recommend it
N. H.
Really lived up to its michelin status! Great food, such good quality and well thought out ingredients, also nice to see they had some halal options.
The waiters could have been a bit better in explaining the menu, they didn’t always seem to understand what we were saying.
Vibe and atmosphere was calm and classy.
Overall great restaurant.
A. K.
Excellent food. Outstanding service! Relatively cheap for the quality, much cheaper than say Clove club or Pied a Terre.

I finally decided to try HIDE, even if just for a quick lunch so not exactly the full experience but just a taste and it was magnificent. The service is absolutely amazing. My waiter, Ruhit, was really well prepared to answer at all my questions. I went for the Set Lunch menu at £38. Salmon tartare was so fresh and well dressed, the Veal rillette was incredibly tasty and tender. I could have done a bath into the Veal sauce. For me the highlight of the menu was the tartlet with saffron cream, chocolate and sunflower: I could have eaten 10 of them.
I’ll be back soon for dinner because it really impressed me
S. C.
Lovely setting, attentive staff, good tasty food, nice selection of wines. Venison main pictured.
I. L.
The best dinner experience! The service and atmosphere alone deserve a 5-star rating, and the rib-eye was exquisite! Our deserts were like cherries on top – a fantastic end of the evening!
S.
HIDE was an amazing experience. From the décor to the service to the quality of food and creativity of dishes, I would firmly give it a 10/10. We were greeted in the low-lit Piccadilly foyer and led to our table (social distancing included). We were promptly greeted by our server and the sommelier who explained the à la carte and tasting menu options. We elected to go for the eight course tasting menu. This consisted of seamless, impeccably timed dishes/pieces of art that made our jaws drop every time they brought something new to the table. The menu was incredibly thoughtful as well as delicious. The service was indescribable. I cannot find fault in my evening at HIDE because there was none.
C. C.
Absolutely outstanding, a place to indulge your senses. Extensive wine list, menu is seasonal I believe.
M.
What an amazing experience! Delicious food, top service and great interior! We went for breakfast, booking a table was easy (online) and the staff were very friendly, approachable and explained the menu very well. Our waitress (didn’t catch the name but she was Italian) was so attentive, smiling and helpful and recommended the most popular dishes which were absolutely delicious!
You pay for what you get so expect amazing food and great service! Looking forward coming back to try their dinner menu!
T. K.
Had a 11 course meal from the set menu, I must say I was quite full which I didn’t think I would be looking from the tiny portions that were coming through. Over all good value for money very tasty food. Lovely and friendly staff, amazing place.
S. K.
Excellent provision for vegans dining with non-vegan friends; I had the 5-course tasting vegan menu and it was divine! Staff incredibly polite and attentive, too. They clearly have a passion for their trade. Bravo, Hide!
T. T.
We dined above. It’s Elegant and has a nice ambiance. Service was great .
The tasting menu was exceptional .
S. B.
Excellent breakfast, book to avoid disappointment, staff were very nice and helpful. The presentation was brilliant and the taste matched. All came in good time. Recommend and want to return soon.
H. H.
We came here for dinner with a couple of friends in the private room in the basement. The decoration, service, and everything is absolutely incredible. Except the taste of the food is just average.
M. A.
Good food good drink get that dose of European cuisine and hospitality. Definitely try the Sea Bass. The rhubbarb and cream soft serve was an absolute delight
M. M.
It could be better. Especially for Michelin restaurant.
Waiter serves food when one of the guests were absent( We want “Testing menu” but nobody told us that it serves in another floor( Waiter just mentioned that they do not have “Testing menu” - it looks strange.
The excursion was good, do not forget to ask about it) The food was also good but not the best comparing to other restaurants.
A. P.
Every little detail is a masterpiece. And the food is just above the best:)
We tried brunch menu and had full tanked at the end.
Will go there for dinner definitely. So far one of my favorite places to eat
K. W.
If I could gove this place 10 stars I would. Dined last night and it was mind blowingly good. The food was outstanding... 2 of us eating on the 5 course taster.. I'm vegan and work in the industry WOW WOW WOW. The food presentation and taste was incredible. The waiters were super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Old fashions were AMAZING. Unforgettable 😀

14/Sep/ 2021.
We returned to HIDE ten months after our 5☆ reciew and I have to say it was even better than before. The food and wine was faultless and the service was impeccable. We were mainly served by Wilson, who was full of charm and was knowledgeable about the food we had ordered.
We will definitely be recommending this gem of a restaurant and we'll be back again soon.
I. Y.
Beautiful restaurant(s). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent.
Despite no specific wine flight being paired with our preview menu, the sommelier recommended some excellent wines for each course.
Made our belated anniversary meal very special.
B. E.
I found this place in 2019, and re-visited today. The food is great, served pretty fast - considering the queue - and reasonably priced, but the seats are really cramp, you can’t really hang your coats. I don’t like coriander, so asked them to leave it in my pho!
S. B.
Bread basket and oysters are a must! We ordered 2 rounds before ordering our meal - absolutely delicious. Steaks were stunning and perfectly cooked, though my asparagus starter was pretty mediocre.
Y. Y.
Awesome dinner with decent service! I enjoyed 5 menu course for my friend's wedding dinner and all the experience was just amazing. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for nice dining along with wines.
K. K.
Excellent food and service. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, willing to help to make the right choice. The atmosphere is great, good music, quiet enough to talk with no problem at all.
The food is very good, yet if you want to have something closer to “standard kitchen” Hide might not be the best choice for you. If you are looking for something unusual yet great - go for it, you’ll love it.
M. G.
A Tuesday 6pm visit:
The food is interesting to explore.
Very crowded and very loud, I didn't literally hear my friends who were sitting across from me.
Our table was served by 5 or 6 people, the service charge of 55 GBP was taken.
In total, overpriced and loud.
J. B.
Went here for a special dinner based on its reputation and interesting menu. Left here wondering how this place got to be Michelin starred. The space has floor to ceiling windows looking out (from slightly below street level) onto busy Piccadilly and a busy side street (currently a construction zone on both), the tables are uncovered seemingly to the naked eye cheap wood, the chairs are uncomfortable and some you have to share as a sofa or lounge chair with the table next to you, the service level and attentiveness was what you would find at a far lower priced location (at one point they tried to bring our first 2 courses a second time and finding people at times was an effort), and it was honestly relatively expensive for what you got (more on that below). The saving graces were that the food quality was good to excellent (wouldn't say great; it did not wow me) and the wine list was extensive and with a range of prices across a wide range of quality and varietals (this part was great), but this restaurant is nowhere near the quality place to dine like at tried and true favorites in the same category, such as Chez Bruce or Bibendum and many others. Until they can fix the service and the atmosphere, I am not prepared to pay again over $550 for a modest dinner for 2 people here in its current configuration. Get the ambiance and service to match the food!
A. E.
I've been there quite afew times for breakfast. Great food, superb service and very friendly. Lovely surroundings and the staff really look like they enjoy working there.
S. G.
We had a great tasting session at this venue! It was an amazing experience made all the more memorable thanks to the exceptional sommelier (Mohammed). Not sure if there is anything that man doesn't know about wine.
S. Z.
Delicious and fairly priced lunch menu. Very impressive atmosphere and excellent service.

4.8
Great food, extremely friendly service, great wine list (also by the glass). Can only recommend to try this experience
B. J.
HIDE is an experience, a three story adventure.
We started at The Ground where we dabbled in the Graze menu. The oysters were huge, juicy, and tasty. The lobster tempura with jalapeño sauce was extraordinary, and the charcuterie board was a perfect light companion.
We then took a peak at the beautiful Above.
Afterwards, we made our way downstairs to Below where we enjoyed some of the finest cocktails in London.
Can we talk about the gorgeous staircase? So beautiful, so we’ll done, you can’t help but want to walk up and down it.
If you’re in London, local or wanderer, HIDE is an absolute must.
L. v. Z.
Not even sure where to begin or what to say. This restaurant is a taste experience second to none.
Creative and unique flavours follow in each consecutive dish. What a treat.
The decor is bold and modern with an incredible staircase made from one french oak tree.
We went for lunch and it was fantastic.
R. V.
Loved Hide Above. We celebrated our anniversary dinner here. Ollie Dabbous is a gifted chef. I had a normal 8 course tasting menu. My husband had the vegetarian 8 course tasting menu.
A. B.
Did the tasting menu dinner in their private dining room. Very good experience, food presentation and taste was superb, their vegan and vegetarians options were absolutely sublime. Service was good and not rushed at all. Chairs very comfortable, as we dined for almost 6 hours, and the decor of the place is sensational. A must go.
A. M.
The organic and magical wooden staircase by Atmos studio alone is worth a visit. But the food and wine also matches the incredible architecture. I recommend the bread, fois gras, octopus, burrata, all perfect.
G. S.
We had the 5 course menu. The bread that was served at the start was lovely and we ate every crumb. The quality of the food is excellent and I really enjoyed the lobster course and the coconut dessert in particular. Yes, it is a a little pricey, and be aware that discretionary 15% service charge is added in to the bill, but we really enjoyed the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and each course was explained.
T. D.
Not only the food are good and well decorated. The restaurant design are super nice, love all the details of furnitures, specially love the stair case and the chair. We had the brunch menu, would come back for the tasty menu. Love their mocktail list
J. G.
I’m sorry to say the 8-course tasting was not worth it at all. The food was completely underwhelming. Everything was bland and the price tag was unbelievable for what we were served. The a la carte menu below seemed better (just my impression). It’s the first time google reviews have led me astray.
P. s.
Nice bar if you want to go for drinks. Will go back to try their food, but have heard good things!
H. W.
Excellent service, amazing food, lovely to be in a bright restaurant with lots of natural light
S. H.
Great atmosphere. Fantastic and welcoming staff. Lovely food 😋 and reasonable prices.
C. L.
Having been here a couple of times I think the brunch menu is better. Top quality food, service, and ambiance. The staircase to basement is so unique, and absolutely love interior design/soft dressing in the 3 party rooms in the basement. Great place for special occasions with your loved ones, highly recommend, they’ll love here.
R. S.
Amazing! Something for all the senses! It’s about eating and experiencing food. Not may restaurants can execute at this level. And they have a complete vegetarian tasting menu!Service is impeccable. I recommend going now before they get their Michelin Stars - I am sure it will be hard to get in.
B. L.
Fantastic service from the moment you walk in. Very attentive staff who are more than happy to assist with anything. Food portions was perfect (all 3 courses). Wine menu is extensive (you have to see the wine cellar). Beer options wasn’t great but nice enough.
Highly recommended.
v. b.
One of the best dining experiences. Food portions was perfect and taste sensations. Service of staff the best so far!!!
M. N. G.
HIDE is outstanding. The level of care that has gone into every detail of this restaurant is very special. The whole experience is impeccable. I love it here!
A. H.
Absolutely phenomenal. Incredibly kind servers, amazing food, and an overall amazing experience. Highly reccomend.
S. G.
Unbelievable food and exceptional service. Really enjoyed the experience. The tasting menu takes about 3 hours, we were short on time but the staff were very accommodating to customise the experience for us. Can't wait to return and give the whole menu a go!
A. W.
Dined upstairs and had the 7 course set menu. Imaginative and fresh. It's good but at this price point it needs to be more 'wow'. Service very good and lots of it. Wine list varied and caters for all tastes without crazy mark ups. The interiors are amazing...calm and warm.
S. L.
Solo diner for lunch, was given a very nice corner table facing the park. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Food was amazing, but found the main (cod) a tad too salty. Beautiful staircase and bar at the basement.
M. O.
Breakfast was excellent (I had eggs grande and French toast), amazing decor and great service!
A. K.
A meal that was a memorable experience. Friendly and fast service, amazing food, lovely atmosphere and the spoken... and even some unspoken.... wishes fulfilled. Full points for the service team at my table 🤗
s. m.
We came to have a drink with friends, the atmosphere is subdued, the descent of the stairs makes me think of the Fibonacci suite. Beautiful spirits list and impressive wine list perhaps a little expensive at the level of wine prices per glass £50 for a glass of white chassagne so I had a beer and my friends had cocktails but this is only my personal opinion. However I loved the place and would come back occasionally for dinner.
A. F.
Excellent atmosphere, great food and service.
What one would expect at a Michelin start restaurant. Also offers halal options if you ask a few days in advance.
H. L. A.
All the food looked and tasted great. Eye wateringly expensive for most things on the menu especially the mains which for some of us meant noticeably small portions. Desserts on the other hand were a good size and pretty faultless.
T. M.
So cozy atmosphere, Classy and amazing service, delicious food definitely going back.
L. A.
Highly recommend! Went for a birthday lunch, it was a very impressive establishment; from the beautiful decor, great location, and lots of small touches that just kick the experience up a notch (like discreet chargers for your phone if you need, Le Labo bathroom products, to a signed birthday card from the chef). The food was excellent, the staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and I booked to go back the following week.
A. R.
We had the most incredible evening at Hide Ground celebrating my partner's birthday. The service was exceptional , as well as the attention to detail. We felt in very good hands and our waiter Calum was fantastic. Calum definitely helped make it a memorable day for us!
P. S.
Cool place. Charming service. Interesting menu. Loved the wine offer. Our wine choice turned out to be available in only bottle without notice
L. “. C.
Worth to visit restaurant and wine bar. I love the concept, the ambiance, the service and the food experience . Glad that I gave it a try. Alfonso, the Sommelier was very attentive and the Italian staff was super wonderful to show us around their restaurant and their cellar. I forgot his name but he made our visit worth remembering.
j. d.
look forward to going again
b. L.
Loved the place not only the foods, which was natural casual, but elegant. The food was also great from starter to dessert ice cream. Definitely would visit here again when I am in London.
C. C.
Great food, beautiful location and venue, stylish but still clean and sexy.
Staff was well knowledgeable and you can tell that they have a strong and well coordinated front of house.
Food was good and well executed, maybe on the first initial course with the vegetable crudités, there could have been a reference to a local farm, maybe they do have and I believe it should be mentioned, but overall a very good meal and definitely a place to keep in mind.
L. S.
Had anniversary lunch, bought a book which Ollie signed and came out and took a picture with us, amazing. Food a taste sensation, thoroughly enjoyed the experience
T. J.
Great food, lovely service, amazing location
S. D. J.
Excellent food and service in a lovely setting and location opposite Green Park. I've been a few times for breakfast and tend to order the scrambled eggs, poached eggs or avocado on sourdough with a side of black truffle.
T. D. N.
Great food, service and ambience. Hardest thing was choosing which caviar to get with the oysters...
M.
Good selection of wines and great meal servings, but super expensive..
H. L.
Food like art. Nice staff, vibe and quality that worth the price.
A. L.
Lunch at HIDE ground was outstanding.
Interior is absolutely amazing not to mention the beautiful staircase.
Service got a little slow towards the end of our visit though.
M.
Just incredible. The best food I have ever tasted, ever. At all levels the staff were perfect. Made our celebration really special.
p.
Fantastic service, super friendly attentive staff. Food was good, but only had breakfast here but liked it. Very happening place.
A. E. D.
Excellent meal and service at Hide Above from the staff at the restaurant and starting with champagne. Great bar at Hide below too
A. D.
Exceptional place
Staffs are very friendly and very helpful with my food dietary requirement. Every elements of each dish are so complete, you can tell that it has been well-thought. The atmosphere is amazing, this is place is really instagramable! If you’re planning to go, leave some 5 mins for photo around the staircase. I saw a picture of private area and planed to go there later. I’ll definitely recommend this place to other people.
If I’d deduct a point or two, it’d be for the slowness of waiter (in responding to our hand raises, and in filling up our glasses). But when he did turn up, he was really nice that I decided not to.
H. A. M.
This is my second visit to Hide. Again, the decor and ambience is elegant and chic. Service is efficient. The food is creative and very good but they need to do more. This tome I felt is started to lack taste. It is still good but it is not something that you would crave for and think to come back.
c. h. n.
Highly recommended! Had dinner at HIDE ABOVE the other day and was simply blown away by the whole experience. Service was impeccable, the staff were really attentive and did not hesitate to help out whenever they could. Presentation of the food was exciting, unique and fun. Portable chargers were provided at every table for all our charging needs - and that’s definitely a plus for me!
E. T.
I was sure I'd already left a review for this restaurant, but apparently not!! Today was my third visit to Hide, and the second one to Above. Everytime I've been here I've experienced exquisite food and incredible warm, friendly, and efficient service. The vegetarian lunch menu in Above is amazing, and they even let me swap out the dessert for the one on the Tasting menu (which I had on my last visit). The wine list is huge, and there is something for every budget and taste. It's not cheap, but as far as I'm concerned it's worth every penny!!!
N. M.
I took my husband on a date here and we totally had the best time of our lives. Everything was perfect. Amazing food and absolutely amazing ambience.
J. H.
We genuinely look at tasting menu - this was the most exceedingly terrible supper I have at any point had. It was only difficult to eat. The fish didnt have any taste, and after the "green stuff" I figured I would upchuck it.
S. P.
Stunning venue, stunning food. Superb staff, always smiling and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. Totally enjoyed our tasting menu, just perfect.
J. N.
Wonderful organic feeling restaurant. Surprising tasting menu. Even has table draws to charge your phone! Well worth a visit
K. C. S.
Great modern European restaurant with selected exceptional dishes . Had the ocputus, chicken, duck and the best beef ribs . The mixed bread were fresh and warm. The wine complimented well. Good dining experience in the middle of London .Friendly service too.
R. N.
Set Lunch menu was mouthwatering! Vibrant food, intense flavours, fantastic!
+ Beautiful setting
+ Super friendly team
+ Subtle and stunning decor / atmosphere
- none that I had.
Make sure thing is one for your 2019 diary.
N. I.
Amazing food, service, every single detail! They've just received a michellin star. The owner Eugene greets his guests personally. The must visit place for a dinner, but reservations needed. Exceptional choice of wines. Very casual.
E. F.
Wow! Incredible culinary experience from the bread to the coffee! Beautiful environment, a real class act
P. G.
Evgeny created a great team doing a great job
J. P.
The interior is cosy with the colours of the furnitire complimenting the natural colours of wood. The food is very decent but the dessert itself is just 5 stars. Probably one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. I would just visit there again just to eat that again and again. They have an excellent tea selection as well. Well worth visiting.
A. A.
The food is incredible and portion size is perfect. The acorn cake and beef main are a must.
R. E.
Cool calm atmosphere in this organically designed restaurant with amazing hand built wooden staircase. Staff are lovely knowledgeable and attentive (a sneeze by my companion brought a tissue!). We had the tasting menus one veggie and they were happy to mix and match which very few places do (extra points scored). Bread and crudities as pre-starter with extra breads brought. All dishes were excellently put together, very pretty, well flavoured and not crazy amounts of this puree or that foam. Plenty of variety in the seven courses and everything cooked to perfection. Massive wine list/iPad but note many of the wines come from round the corner so if you're a wine buff order your first bottle before you enter! Price perhaps the only downside at £200 a head all in (June 19), yes it's worth it but you can get equally good food for less (and more) in London.
T. B.
Só classy and elegant with such great attention to detail. Waiters are attentive without it feeling invasive. We had the 8-course tasting menu, which was so filling we skipped on the cheese board supplement we intended to eat at the beginning. The food is almost too beautiful to eat, like artwork. The food is challenging and requires engagement and thought, not your everyday comfort food meal, so keep this in mind. Really recommended if you are looking for a unique dining experience.
D. H.
What an amazing restaurant, building. A huge amount of money has been spent on the conversion/ upgrade of this building. The attention to detail is hard to fault.
We had the tasting menu at lunchtime.
Pretty hard to find fault with the service, and we thought the food was outstanding.
Our nearest comparison was Le Manoir, for quality of the food and service, which is not so surprising as both the chef Luke Selby and the restaurant assistant manager had both trained there.
This is not a cheap restaurant but we considered it good value for money.
P. O.
Amazing restaurant! A truly remarkable experience! If I am ever in London again, will definitely repeat my visit!
K. P.
Great new restaurant with amazing attention to detail on every single front. I think we had a seven course dinner - every course has been thought through and presented wonderfully. My personal favourite was an egg with the most nostalgic smell in the world. I was too jet lagged to go for wine pairing, but I’m sure it’s worth a try, especially if you take into account the fact that there are three (!) options for wine pairing. Downstairs private rooms are absolutely gorgeous. All the best to the chef and the rest of the team. I’m sure we’ll hear a lot about this restaurant in the future.
H. W.
Had an amazing birthday meal here. And got a wish card signed by the chef Ollie Dabbous!
K. S.
The food was delicious. The wine list was exhaustive and unique. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was friendly and laid back. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend for a special occasion or for those of you fortunately enough to have the finances a more frequent indulgence :)
T. F.
Very nice food and service, will definitely go back again !
G. H. R.
Very nice restaurant with professional service. We had a 5 course dinner, very nice presentations, very little food and too expensive.
A. C.
Great food. Cool decor. Awesome service and relaxed vibe
C. J.
Possibly the best restaurant in London.
Do yourself a favor and pick the tasting menu, you will not regret it!
The food will challenge your palette with new flavour combinations and help you try things you might not usually pick. The presentation of every dish is innovative and beautiful.
There is a very expansive wine list here (from Hedonism Wines) and the sommelier will help gladly you decide which to choose.
The service is absolutely impeccable. The staff put in so many thoughtful touches and it’s true luxury.
Cannot recommend hide highly enough, we can’t wait to come back.
C. S.
Attending this amazing restaurant for Breakfast. The food and drinks where 100% worth the experience and price just over the moon with it all. Scrambled egg on toast with truffles with a champagne mimosa. Then we where offered to have a tour .It was so delightful the interior design is fantastic pure raw polish oak throughout with dirty brass iron such a beautifully designed restaurant. Lorraine gave us a tour the basement bar is warm and gives a Jazz bar vibes with a wine cellar to die for. Private function rooms and the top floor open with glass viewing the park. We had such a great time and loved every tiny detail of this restaurant we have booked for the 8 course meal tasting. Draws in the tables for the menu and leather bag holders under your table. Every possible turn in the restaurant was a delightfully and very thoughtful. The design by Tatiana Fokina bravo truly amazed walking around the best attraction is the staircase which I was told took around 2.5 years to make I was in love. Have been told also to visit The White Horse, Hideaway and Hedonist as all designed by Tatiana Fokina.
X. W.
Tried the a la carte, food was pretty good overall. The dry vodka martini was excellent.
J. C. B.
Fantastic restaurant with nice views of Green Park (just in front of), exceptional service from the staff, huge selection of wines - unmissable to visit the cellar on the basement at the Cocktail Bar also unmissable - and tasty cocktails with simple but great presentation from the Bar team...
C. M.
Great service, wonderful food, beautiful interiors. Good wine menu with good Portuguese wines. 😊 very, very good!!
W.
Would probably be a 3.5 stars. Staff are lovely and restaurnt really nice décor. Food was ok but there was a hair in my starter and got £4 off menu. The tartare was really nice. Cod was ok but the donut dessert was a bit too doughy. Flavours were not too memorable but nothing tasted bad.
P. W.
They make a sweet gesture to provide customers power bank to charge their phones. Food was good, got a few interesting dishes.
S. X.
Interesting restaurant, worth a try though a bit expensive
K. M.
Food was delicious and exceeded our expectations ! They also offered an extended eat out scheme in Sept, which makes it even better value for money.
D. R.
We stumbled upon this place on our walk back from dinner. Excellent find! Welcoming staff, hip atmosphere and a wide variety of craft cocktails. Will be returning here for our next London visit and would highly recommend for cocktail lovers. The food menu looked quite good as well but didn't have a chance to try it.
J. P.
I had a great time at HIDE last night. Just over £400 for two of us on the taster menu with only a glass of bubbles to start but no wines with the menu (few mocktails and tea at the end).
The service was absolutely first class. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable.
The attention to detail on everything from the decor to the food, right down to the waiters' uniforms was absolutely spot on.
The food was delicious. I had one replacement dish for my shellfish allergy from the vegetarian menu which I thought was tasty but a bit boring, but otherwise the dishes were outstanding.
I really loved the signature dish of the Nest Egg... smoky Beech smells coming from out of the hay was a great touch. Olive oil ice cream is also a first for me... surprisingly perfect to clear the palate.
I will definitely go again. The staff really went the extra mile to make it feel like a VIP experience.
A. K.
Best breakfast in Mayfair or maybe even in London 😋
A. L.
Easily one of the best new restaurants in London. Ate at Daboo previously. Amazing decor, perfect service, really enjoyable food.
Y. L.
Great service, authentic and flavorful food
P. B.
The food was amazing! We have experienced many Michelin star restaurants but the food here was the best! 10/10 😃
M. K.
A lovely restaurant with the finest of dining in London. It offers the most beautifully presented food. Perfect place for lunch and dinner. They even have special seating areas for large groups of friends and families.
The interior design is so beautiful it's out of this world. They offer multiple courses of meals along with a wide range of wine, brandy, whiskey etc.
They also have an underground bar where they have an underground wine cellar. This also has private seating areas ideal for parties.
All this is connected with a beautifully hand crafted spiral staircase.
Had lunch with my colleagues here, a wonderful place for special occasions.
The staff are friendly, well dressed, professional, and very efficient. When my colleague dropped his fork, one waiter picked it up and within 10 seconds another waiter gave him a new clean one. They also know what alternatives to offer you if you have any allergies which is very helpful.
Excellent service.
For added efficiency, they have drawers under tables that contain batteries and cables to charge your phones. Very techy and cool. Their toilets are also very clean and presentable.
Overall it was a joyful experience.
I wish I can give this place 10 stars. Best restaurant in central London.
s. s.
Absolutely amazing!!
Excellent food and great wine.
A. C.
My favourite restaurant in the entire world. I would move in if I could ;)
Y. D.
Amazing place with beautiful interior, all wood staircase, stylish bar with tasty cocktails downstairs and impressively big wine list and a fantastic food experience
Octopus is worth trying
Highly recommend
A. N.
Truly enjoyed this modern British cuisine. Contemporary setting with a beautiful view of Green Park. A must visit in London
J. H.
The food here is amazing. Everything was brilliant, the only let down were the macarons. They were a very big let down. The staircase really is something to behold as well. One of the most over-engineered toilets I've seen outside of Asia.
M. V.
Stunning good, incredible service, exceptional wines. Taster menu with classic wine pairings.

Expensive but exquisite. We went for brunch and the food, service and atmosphere was wonderful! Everything is made by hand - the butter, the jam, the juice, the pastry. There are 7+ fresh juice / smoothie options and the coffee options come with tasting notes. The soft boiled eggs with truffled soldiers and the pastries were divine! We even had a surprise candle in my husband’s museli for his birthday. Attention to detail here is second to none.

Amazing food, beautifully presented and very cool staircase
P. Z.
Amazing food and really good service! We had great time!
D. P.
What can I say - delicious food, amazing service, unique design. Definitely a place to go back to
T. R.
Lovely evening catching up with friends. A tad pricey but certainly worth trying :)
D.
Excellent restaurant 👌🏼 I tried the breakfast menu and i love the decorations, an amazing experience.
V. L.
Incredible service. Amazing food.
I personally think the ground floor is better than hide above
M. L.
Beautiful, classy and modern. The service here is the best in London. The wine pairings with the tasting menu are so on point, we went for the classic pairing and were presented with an eclectic variety. Met the chef who presented the most beautiful food. A real foodies dream experience. Well worth the money and definitely a soon to be to two Michelin star no doubt!
A. D.
Amazing food. Top quality service. Wine was sensational. Can't wait to visit again
A. O.
Great service, extensive wine list with a good amount of smaller and natural providers thrown in.
G. S.
Really enjoyed the Lunch Menu, very aromatic, fragrant flavour combinations.
J.
Beautiful location. Fantastic food, served with care by attentive staff. I was genuinely blown away by how incredible the food tasted, plus an excellent recommendation on wine. A pleasant view of Green Park from the window, so you can watch the world go by between courses. A great location for special occasions or a treat.
B. Y.
What an absolutely delightful meal! Callum was attentive and friendly, and helped our table with our menu selections - loved the recommendations!
K. F.
Amazing drinks, food and atmosphere!
Couldn't quite work out the door placement at first, but that just goes to show how it lives up to its name. 😜
D. A.
We visited Hide as a group for brunch.
The interior is nice and spacious.
Good service.
We were seated at a table for 8 people, and that particular table was very uncomfortable: in 4 out of 8 seats you end up with a table leg between your legs, which is a poor design decision.
The starters were imaginative and delicious.
I had crab pasta for main and wasn’t impressed: I would expect a much more flavourful dish from a Michelin starred restaurant.
The carrot cake dessert was so-so, although maybe I made a bad choice.
We had a good time, but I have doubts whether the experience was worth the money.
A.
Amazing lunch at Hide Above, food tasted incredible with all the rich flavours. Even bread and butter were so mooreish!
Special thanks to the Bar staff: when my sad felt unwell they did their best and looked after us until the ambulance arrived. Wouldn't wish it on anyone but could not have happened in a more supportive environment!
X. C.
The food was beautifully presented and the central wood staircase is just impressive. The salmon starter was plain and uninspiring. I had a skate wing as a main and it was well cooked but lacked any balance of flavour. For the price I would expect much more, portions were small. It is the only restaurant I have been where in the lunch menu there is a hefty supplement in two out of the 3 desserts.
R. A.
We’ve had breakfast, the croissant was the best I’ve ever tasted for a very long time, strawberry jam is very good. Also try Apple Turnover, the yogurt has an incredible flavour.
M. L.
What can I say, another amazing experience at HIDE. From the moment you walk in to the level of service experienced through out the meal, all top notch. If you are looking for a place to go where you will be very well taken care of look no further then HIDE. To complete the experience be sure to indulge in their wine list, and definitely ask for recommendations.
B.
I can not fault this restaurant! How often can one say this?! I know it is not for everyone, beautifully cooked food, with amazing flavours, looks stunning and is light and healthy. Don't leave feeling bloated, but with a mouth popping with the taste of the meal still lingering to savour after you have left.
The stunning staircase, adds just the right balance of drama without over powering the space.
Staff beautifully attentive, charming and knowledgeable. Huge choice of none alcoholic drinks too.
Only problem I have heard is people find it hard to find out how the open the front door!!
T. P.
The food is very good but I think the service here did not deserve a Michelin star.
M. B.
Lovely restaurant
In central london
Excellent services, helpful friendly staff
A bit pricey
The food presentation is in its best way
Good choices for vegetarians
Resevation recommend
Nice place if you want to spend a lovely evening
It is the same location of the famous fakheraldeen the famous Arabic restaurant which closed few years ago
A. C.
Prefect service, beautiful cosy interior, delicious food
N.
Beautiful restaurant in Mayfair - food was delicious, service was excellent, and the place had a great ambience. Loved the use of seasonal produce in the dishes, and the wine list is great. They are open from breakfast to dinner daily - I've only tried dinner, but will definitely come back to try their breakfast and lunch. The place is equally suited for a business meal or a catch up with friends.
H. A.
Overrated. Extremely slow service. Food is ok.
K. Y.
Had a lunch set. Every dish was like an art piece! Beautiful.
A. G.
Impeccable service. Amazing atmosphere. Delicious plates. Always a joy to go back. Keep it up!
S. G.
(Hide Above) One of the best dinners we've ever had: freshest seasonal ingredients, helpful and friendly service with a great sense of humour, really pleasant venue overlooking Green Park. We'll definitely be back!
K. B.
Absolutely superb , fantastic staff , good food ! Perfect for any occasion ! Will
come back soon ! Thank you 🙏🏻
A. A.
The restaurant is able to accommodate large groups, leaving enough space between tables. Great choice of wines and nice food, however, I have to say, prices are quite high. Also, I have asked to pack the left over bread and I found a piece of salmon in my doggie bag ...but nevermind 🥴
G. H.
We had a fantastic meal at HIDE. The portions were small, but packed with flavour, especially the roast lamb with vegetables. The wine was great although it felt like a PHD was necessary to work through the wine menu, which was incredibly long and on a less than intuitive iPad system. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's very expensive here, but it's Mayfair after all, and the restaurant is stunning.
K. T.
Deserves 2 michillin(?) Stars and 5 google stars. We were thoroughly surprised and delighted to be given the private room "the reading room". It was a sensational experience and absolutely taken away by the food and cocktails. Highly recommend booking now, it will be a big hit in London in no-time. Beautiful interior, especially the crafted staircase as the centerpiece. That ties the restaurant together.
K. K.
Wow. I popped in for an unexpected lunch and I was blown away. One dish was a rose made out of beetroot slices!
This is one of the best places to eat in London, the lunch menu is fantastic value at £52.
We spent about two hours soaking it all up and I'm ready to go back again.
I was informally dressed and that was perfectly fine, it's not stuffy here.
Y. L.
Lovely place, really like the design of their private dining room, my bosses from Japan had a fantastic experience at Hide. Staff are really professional and really impressed by their wine list, you can get any wine from Hedonism Wines in 20mins. Also their food is great!!! Especially.m the lamb dish and my starter liver parfait. Unfortunately, the beef doesn’t taste really amazing. Highly recommended for any sophisticated special occasions
K. D.
Perfect in every detail! From outstanding food, tactile sensation (first dish in our tasting menu - had to be eaten by hands(!)) to staff uniform and scent of soap in restroom . Scrupulously matched food pallet!
D. L.
If you are looking to really indulge yourself this place is perfect. The standard of food is exceptional, some of the best I have ever had. Great for a special occasion.
S. S.
Had the most wonderful breakfast here, all of the food tasted absolutely outstanding whilst displayed like art. High quality service by all staff, a special mention to Lorraine for the tour of the beautiful resturant and Ruhit for his attention to detail during service. Booked to go back in 3 weeks for the lunch tasting courses. Would recommend to anyone looking to dine with class and enjoy their lives.
E. V.
Having had many dinners in Michelin restaurants, this is the one that definitely deserves at least a star. Amazing place. Your experience and timing is planned and you simply sit and enjoy. We went for a fine dining floor where you just have 2 options of set meal to choose. You order and experience begins. Portions are small, but the timing is so perfect that you don't feel hungry and enjoy the flavours. You never sit longer that 1 minute with a dirty plate, service is at the highest level. Everything around looks in harmony. I am scared to think how much was invested in this place. There are two more floors to visit for a different kind of experience, lunch and breakfast. Very well done to everyone who was a part of creating this place.
B. C.
Nice food and impressive wine list
J. M.
Wonderful meal, incredible food and really attentive service.
v. s.
I have popped to the Ground floor for an afternoon tea with a 5 year old without a reservation. The service was perfect, the design very interesting, I could choose from 4 types of champagne and from multiple very good teas. The food was beautifully served. The creativity of the dishes, in particular a plant with candy floss on top was fun for me, an adult, and exciting for my kid.
N. G.
Had a wonderful dinner here with a friend. Everything we ate was tasty and we enjoyed several glasses of champagne. Friend is coeliac and she could eat most things and they had gluten-free bread. Decor is amazing and they play contemporary music—I wasn’t sure what to make of the identity. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I think it’s a bit overpriced. Bill for the 2 of us came to £245. We eat out a lot and we can get similar quality for less elsewhere.
a. c.
Very good location. Came here for dinner and the place was fully booked, suggest to make booking in advance.
M. W.
Hide Above only offers a tasting menu, and it's expensive. With the standard wine pairing about £250 per person. But it's excellent. A perfectly paced two hour experience. The pictures attached speak for themselves.
T. V.
Perfect score for this amazing restaurant 10/10
A. A.
Outstanding design and attention to detail.
I chose this place as a midway point where I could meet my friends. Easy to get to, and a simple looking restaurant that might be child friendly for a late breakfast.
On entering I was astonished by the interior. It wasn't as simplistic as I thought. The staircase alone is worth a view.
The staff were welcoming and attentive.
The food..I think that reading the menu doesn't really prepare you for the quality of what you are about to receive.
My friends son loved the sound ( literally) of the crackle the croissants made when he pressed them. It distracted him so much, he for got to eat it. Buttery and crispy just as it should be, as we found out after finished playing with it.
The preserves served with them also delicious and tasted home made.
We also had the croque monsier and the French toast. All exquisite.
We planned our return for lunch on the basis of our breakfast.
We can't wait, warm and beautiful to look at.
R. N.
On each of my turns, I see the service and food quality remains good. I'm vegan, and there are many choices for me. If you want an intimate space and to enjoy great food. I would recommend this place.
M. C.
We booked HIDE for a small wedding lunch which was nothing short of excellent. The food was incredible, wine was amazing, but above all, the hospitality of the staff was just remarkable. From the day we were corresponding with the staff on the arrangements right to the end of the wedding lunch, the staff members were always so attentive to our needs. We would like to thank HIDE for making our special occasion extra special.
H. P.
Exceptional service! I truly enjoyed a fabulous meal in the private room where you could actually have a conversation without shouting over any noise.
Our waiter a charming Hungarian was attentive to our dietary needs and gave excellent suggestions.
I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken liver served with toasted brioche and fig preserve from the graze menu.
The pasta with rabbit was delicious and quite heavy for me
M. L.
Fantastic lunch menu. Everything was delicious and great service.

We had a tasting menu with wine pairing. Exceptional experience.

Loved the food! Especially the toes. Tasted very good. Here are the toes.

I've actually done a video review of this on YouTube (the first one!) where you can check out the private dining rooms as well as dishes on the menu.

Definetly in my top 10 of what London has best to give !
Visited the bar a few times. Great bites and cocktails with a charming barista.
I now went to get a cuppa tea 👌
Looking forward to try the restaurant.
H. H.
Amazing food, ambience, service.
G. A.
Pleasant atmosphere, ok wine. Food wasn't that great.
T.
Great place with cosy setting.
We had dinner with some drinks in a private room downstairs and the service was impeccable.
We found the menu a bit limited, especially on the starters, but the food itself was cooked to perfection. Portion size was very reasonable (not something you’d expect from such restaurant in London).
Overall, a great place!
A. Z.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at HIDE. The space is beautiful (must look glorious during daytime with a proper view of the park), service excellent and the presentation of the food was quite fun. They’ve really nailed down the simple things on the menu, everything was very enjoyable. The beetroot hummus and truffle pasta for starters were the favourites, followed by the acorn cake for dessert. Steak was delicious, and the octopus looked great too. That until next time!
E. “. L.
Had such a beautiful meal for the holidays thanks to HIDE at home. It was easy to select a time slot for delivery, food came looking beautiful, and the flavours were a so diverse and delicious. Not a single dish tasted like the other which I loved. Will definitely be coming back.
D. G.
Mind-blowingly good. My new favourite place. Total experience
J. F. P.
Superb food, amazing wine list, great atmosphere and excellent service - particularly from our friendly and helpful sommelier. Perfect meal from start to finish.
D. S.
Stupendous food, served with care by attentive staff. I was genuinely blown away by how incredible the food tasted, plus an excellent recommendation on wine. A pleasant view of Green Park from the window, so you can watch the world go by between courses. A great location for special occasions or a treat.
O. W.
Arguably one of the best restaurants in London. From the home made bread (which is divine) to the fresh oysters, incredible charcuterie (goose is mind blowing), gorgeous burratta to the mains of octopus and iberico pork and dessert of chef’s signature acorn cake. Everything is absolutely fantastic, beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are attentive and friendly, caring without being invasive. I couldn’t recommend this place more. I honestly don’t know how to compliment this place further, it was sublime.
Thank you for an amazing meal and an amazing experience that will stick in the mind for years to come.
Simply perfection. Ollie Dabbous, you should be very proud and I wish you luck in the years to come.
B. K.
Our visit exceeded our expectations-a unique experience with excellent food and service.
E. U.
We went for a few drinks downstairs and it’s a lovely atmosphere with a great selection of cocktails. I highly recommend the cross eyed Mary. A twist on a Bloody Mary. Excellent service
K.
Food was great as you'd expect from a place like this. Normally I don't really care about the service at restaurants but I was blown away by the service here. It almost felt like we were being hosted by by close friends. Close friends that could serve Michelin star food!
Thanks Michael!
L. M.
The wagu beef with truffle was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The wine was good and the dishes imaginative, would highly recommend
K. K.
We started with drinks and carried on with the dinner in HIDE brasserie. The food was amazing, the staff’s approach was very nice (we were served by Ilaria who was fantastic!). Also I loved the design of the place - texture of their tables, walls, floor, smell... would love to come back here again!
R. R.
My new favourite place in London. The food was most fantastic, every single dish, from starters to mains to desserts. Absolutely delicious!
F. N.
Hide. Seek and you shall find. Light, elegant and pure.
A. L.
The food, service and atmosphere is on point always. I’ve been a few times now and the service of the team is always so welcoming and kind. The food is mind blowing! Worth every expense.
L. V.
One of my favourite places in London for its breakfast. The most unique setting, lovely front of house and delightful viennoiserie section - with the quality coffee and teas to match with it as well!
A. G.
Amazing food with beautiful views. Had the tasting menu for lunch, it was delicious.
H. J.
Incredible from Ollie! HIDE Above really delivers one of London's best dining experiences, the stylish 8 course taster offers some really fantastic flavours and unique cooking styles including their rich signature egg dish, unique pork dish and creamy Jasmine desert. Paired with exceptional service that goes above and beyond. Definitely worth traveling to even if it's just for the á la carte. Hoping to see a second star next guide!
S. C.
I celebrated my birthday here. It was my best experience in haute cousin, definitely it would be 3 stars rated. We had diner at ground, service was grate, wine list made me insane. If you’ll have to try sweets and ice creams, I don’t know the words to describe it.
All in all, it is the great haute cousin experience you can to try.
H. Z.
Amazing! We’ve had a lot of testing menus in London, this is by far our favourite.
The food was exquisite, the staff were incredible and the atmosphere was great.
We celebrated our anniversary here and everyone made it very special for us :-)
R. H.
Fantastic food, supplemented with amazing wines. The sommelier made the night for us, allowing his personality to shine through and making us laugh every time he poured our wine. His knowledge was second to none as well. Would definitely recommend! We had a great night.
B. C.
Service is great, the presentation is excellent!
B. L.
Such a stunning place hiding in front of Hyde Park. Just couldn’t get enough of the interior! The grand spiral staircase is just a piece of art! So organic. Food is great too. We had the set lunch menu everything was so fresh and beautifully cooked. The Victorian pineapple as dessert is such a lovely surprise! They have an amazing wine collection and an iPad of dreams when it comes to ordering your wine. The service is impeccable and we felt so well looked after. The bar downstairs is worth a visit too. The fallen Madonna is my favourite cocktail of the month! It’s perfect for a small gathering or when you have close guests to entertain. Love this gem!
M. M.
Take my advice. Book a table in Above at Hide right now. It's about to become London's toughest table. For the moment, only the Evening Standard has reviewed it, awarding 5 stars of 5. The rest of the papers will descend soon, and it will be impossible to get a booking.
We visited last night. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, yet still modern.
In Above, you do the tasting menu. Small variations happily were made for my wife who eats fish but not meat. And the parade of brilliance began. Canapes of vegetable 'finger foods' with an amazing dipping sauce. Smokes meat on a stick -- pork and goose -- were divine. And the best mushroom consommé in the universe. Next was a 'nest egg,' rich savoury custard with mushrooms, cream, and oh my God it was good. Then stunning raw tuna, served with locally grown wasabi.
We shared the optional course of 'Cornish fish in two services,' which was several pieces of plaice, served sashimi style and a bowl of the most extraordinary bouillabaisse I've ever tasted. It was soup, perfected.
The hits continued.
'Roast' king crab was incomparably tender and succulent. Slow roast goose, served with birch sap and dried kale was yummy. And the 'coconut' dessert was a celebration of nature's perfect bounty.
Hide has only been open two weeks, so there were tiny imperfections. The aisles aren't quite wide enough for all of the staff required to serve a 10 course tasting to 80 customers. The goose probably had a tiny bit too much of the dried greens.
But then there were the gems. The mushroom soup. The crab. The goose itself. The view of the kitchen. And our brilliant young assistant sommelier who walked us through two different sets of wine matches with precision and expertise, punctuated with obvious enthusiasm and downright glee at some of the choices.
All in all, 'Above' in Hide was an absolute gem. And we look forward to returning to try the 'Ground' with its all day service and 'Below' with its attractive cocktail list.
So I repeat: Book now to avoid disappointment. It's rare that a place with as much hype as Hide meets and exceeds expectations, but Hide has done so, and the world is going to find out very soon.
J. G.
We ate at Ground and was very impressed by the waiting staff, friendly and knowledgable. The food we ordered was delicious and the wine to match it was spot on, although super expensive. Everything was heading to a 5 star evening until we got told our 2 hours was up and were unceremoniously booted out and sent to the bar downstairs to have our desert.
Not acceptable in a place as fancy and expensive as this. We turned up spot on time and ordered and ate at a normal pace. They should be able to better manage this and not uproot people in the middle of a meal before asking for more than £300 for it all.
M. C.
Extremely polite staff and the food was great
J. R.
Great people, food and atmosphere will be visiting again! Set lunch is well thought out. First experience at a restaurant of its kind. Loved it
G. F.
Brilliant, just Brilliant! Food exquisite, staff fantastic. Loved every minute of the experience
R. F.
Truly unbelievable place to eat, can't recommend this place enough.

very nice experience. great food and atmosphere
M. M.
Good service and nice breakfast!
D. S.
Excellent service and well presented food. Birthday treat with excellent view of Green Park.
A. C.
Had lunch there twice. Service was impeccable, food was fun, creative and made me smile. On top of all that good was very good. I was lucky enough to meet the chef Ollie and he is a fun, "think out of the box" type of person. Loved everything about this place.
G. H.
No nonsense quality cuisine. Everything was very good, in manageable quantity, focusing on a few quality ingredients. You'll find a fair bit of seaweed, mushrooms, nuts, sous-vide cooking and occasional smokey flavours, all used in a way that compliments the main ingredients. In what must have been five courses I didn't see foam once which is a relief.
I was invited to a tasting menu so can't comment on prices or a la carte choices. Service and decor were perfect as you'd expect.
A.
The food was perfect, and the service even more so. The front-of-house staff, and especially the sommelier, were brilliant. It all made for an excellent meal, with some fantastic drinks on the side. Not easy on the wallet, but worth the price for a treat or special occasion. I look forward to coming back at some point!
T.
You pay for the quality and high standard of service. The waiters and hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, they tend to your every need and make you feel welcome and at ease. The food is second to none with a wide range of choices. I will definitely be back again and couldn't recommend a better place for a quality meal.
B. S. F. D.
Excellent service and food presentation
I would say much better then most Michlen restaurants
N. A.
I have enjoyed my breakfast time at Hide, the staff were nice and friendly, the service was good and the food was delicious. However, it's a bit pricey.
I came specially to try the truffle scrambled eggs on toast, and I loved it! I also liked the egg royale (wished they serve 2 instead of 1)
I loved every detail of the interior and exterior,as their name says you feel like entering a hidden resaurant in Green Park . (I felt like I'm in a Peter Pan movie)
The restaurant is considered to be new in town they have opened nearly 14 weeks ago.
R. K.
Delicious option for a fancy brunch. Small portions but all the items were well thought out and beautifully presented. Some delicious wine options too.
Good service, some of the servers seemed confused a lot of the time but some were very nice and helpful.
Definitely worth it as a treat!
C. I.
Great service and sensational food
C. N.
Great design, service and experience overall.
K. K.
We went to HIDE Ground. It was a perfect dinner and evening. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. We got octopus and the lamb. It was probably the best octopus and the best lamb that we ever had. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
W. T.
New place, new cuisine. I must say delicious. Staff is very polite and helpful. Decor is modern-rustic ( not my style), however very popular among white collars.
Try the fine dining above, the tasting menu is really good. The egg dish was my favourite!
D. L.
Wonderful experience. I highly recommend the wine pairing with the 7 course.
A. G. -. P.
Great food. The table we sat at was not the best though.
N. C.
Not as good as I had expected. The vegetable starters are creative and delicious. The beef tartare was just alright. We had both sole and chicken as main course. For the sole, the ingredients didn’t come together nicely. It’s just a piece of fish. Chicken was slightly better. I liked the almond soufflé a lot. We asked the sommelier for wine recommendations by glass. The pairing didn’t go well to be honest. I am not sure if it’s the usual practice but the sommelier didn’t ask for our preference and didn’t tell us the price before choosing for use Turns out the price of the wines (total 4 glasses) are more expensive than the set lunches for 2 pax.
S. A.
Excellent food and excellent service
S. S.
Incredible food and service in a beautiful restaurant. We had the 5 course tasting menu at Hide Above for a special occasion, it was worth it. Every dish was great and the staff took care of every possible detail while maintaining a friendly and somewhat casual environment.
L. N.
Very nice design, great atmosphere in a heart of London. Food was beautifully presented, but a bit bland to my taste.
Great selection of wines.
Customer service second to none.
Great place to dine out for a romantic dinner.
Y. P.
Superb interior, very friendly service and tasty food
J. J.
I had been considering booking here for months and finally found a reason when a friend came to town. The food was delicious and the decor very beautiful. I’d recommend stopping by the basement cocktail bar anytime, cocktails were tasty and the bartenders were super helpful and friendly.
Where this place let me down was the service. We were asked if we wanted to have a cocktail in the bar before taking our table which we did, no sooner was the cocktail delivered and I had two sips we were abruptly told by a waitress it was time to go to our table. I thought we would have been given the opportunity to enjoy our cocktails first. Also considering the wine list plays a large part in the marketing of Hide (they are partnered with/owned by Hedonism wines?), we had to ask to be shown the wine menu after about 20 minutes of being at our table.
Again, the food was great, at times rather impressive visually and and the staff very friendly. But the service overall just felt a bit loose and I would have expected more for the price we paid for dinner.
G. A.
Spectacular service and food, the most wonderful sommelier brought the whole experience to life.
Beautifully made, simple interior with stunning staircase.
P. A.
Review of Hide Ground - solid meal at Hide with friendly staff - though they were definitely overwhelmed and level of service wasn’t the best - you could see multiple tables trying to get their attention. Some dishes were standout like the softshell crab bites, and the lavender Madeleine’s were amazing. However other dishes were perfectly pleasant but nothing to shout about. Ultimately for £320 for two people (3 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, a few “bites”, 3 courses each) can get you food at 2 Michelin star restaurants in London where overall the food is at a higher level than at Hide Ground. Still want to try Hide Above though
B.
Had a great time, went there for breakfast. Truffle eggs were delicious.

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant last night for my birthday dinner and I cannot emphasise on how incredible my night was! The restaurant has a beautiful Interior and is based in the perfect location. I was even welcomed with a card that was signed by the chef as it was my birthday — what a lovely touch!
The menu is simple but very elegantly designed! We had oysters to start with, the oysters were so fresh that you could literally taste the sea! We were recommended to try the bread selection, for someone who is not a big fan of bread, I really enjoyed their artichoke and rosemary bread! I liked it so much that the manager brought another one for us. We then had the selection of three (cured meat: goose, lamb and pork), chicken liver parfait and Raw scallop with fresh peas & marigold. These were all lovely dishes but the selection of three really was the highlight. The mains really stole the show away! We had the Roast Herdwick lamb with summer vegetables & clover and Barbecued Iberico pork, peanut praline, sweetcorn & baby gem. These were excellent dishes and I would definitely come back for it! The cocktail selection was quite small in the restaurant but we had more to choose from their bar menu downstairs. My boyfriend loves whiskey and was really impressed by their whiskey and wine selection! We had cocktails, wine, whiskey and a celebratory shot of tequila — all of which were recommended and suggested by their incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. They really had a big part to play in making this such a lovely evening for us!
After months of lockdown and not being able to dine out, this has been an exceptional experience and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Amazingly delicious food and excellent service.

HIDE is all you anticipate from a high end Michelin starred restaurant in London. The interior is an outstanding space. Beautifully considered. The service is a masterclass in perfection and the food and presentation outstanding. Sometimes you aim high and can't comprehend how good an eating experience can be. This visit, with my wife and son who was celebrating his 21st birthday, was such a perfect and memorable experience. Highly recommended
J. S.
Came here for my birthday back in June. Was great service and food. Had an amazing view of the park. Great interiors too.
l. b.
Great food good service!
r.
Not stuffy.
Food good as expected.
Discreet attention but could do better with topping up water!
Otherwise a really pleasant experience.
T. M.
Disappointing; expected a lot better. Nothing wrong with the food but not very memorable and doesn’t compare favourably to other tasting menus in a similar price / quality bracket. Food was oddly bland and forgettable. Space is very large and with nice windows but there were quite large drinks receptions happening in private rooms that were quite noisy and frequently walking through the restaurant. Service was fine but a bit clumsy. Took three times for them to bring the right coffee order.
T. C.
Great food, amazing wine selection, phenomenal service. Great job.
I had so much fun this evening. This guy came in with his girlfriend and sat next to us, in let’s be fair an intimate surrounding. He ordered a very expensive bottle of wine, like £600 worth. She sneezed, and blew £50 worth all over his shirt. So funny.
Plus my date got a rocking chair to sit in, this made her very happy!
The bathrooms were also very nice, clean and with an excellent selection of soaps and hand lotions. I might be a little squiffy, but had a really good night, hopefully yours will be too😉

We went to Hide Ground for our 10th wedding anniversary, on 5/7/20, a day after they reopened for dine-in.
The experience was nothing short of exceptional. Warm, welcoming staff; exquisite food and drinks, and flawless service. We particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus, burrata, and beef ribs (those crispy potatoes !!!!!)
Thank you for a memorable experience. We will undoubtedly be back.

Visited HIDE for some drinks on Valentines day and the Bar was exceptional. Not only the most fantastic staircase i've seen but staff were all extremely engaging and helpful. Drinks menu was fantastic despite the steep prices. The bar is one of the nicest I have visited and certainly one to photograph.

One of the good and top restaurants in London. They have almost every dish needed including alcohol. The staff were also so polite and responsible.

Food taste good but the portion is small and a bit expensive

Incredible restaurant. The food was outstanding and the sommelier was brilliant - a great character, so knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately due to the delivery, the food arrived cold and damaged. However, it still tasted really good. I’m sure the dining experience at the restaurant itself would be much much better than receiving it from a Deliveroo rider.

Great place to relax. Very impressed with the interior. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and polite staff. But I specially liked extraordinary tasty cuisine. Highly recommend!

The French toast is out of this world

Fantastic restaurant. Excellent service. Been 3 times. Their lunch menu is value for money. If you are hungry, try their tasting menu, be warned, lots of food, so delicious.

We booked a table immediate after covid lockdown and were disappointed by the food and staff service especially for the price we paid. We got the tasting menu and wine pairing with it, and they actually missed one of the wines. Understandably, it does take time to get back to normal standards especially having closed for 3 months, however if you’re asking customers to pay the same price, that quality needs to be there.
Cocktails were good but food was mediocre especially for a 1 Michelin star. Would not go back for food but perhaps the below level bar if I happen to be in the area

Amazing place with excellent breakfast range and specialty coffee selection
R. B.
Superb food, beautifully presented. Flawed by the utterly mediocre soundtrack played intolerably loud, which the (very helpful + friendly) staff refuse or are not allowed to turn down.

I really love the food and service, good area right next to my home. The workers are always helpful. Would recommend to others.

If it was 6*,I would rank it 7.

Very good tasting menu. Good service overall, but it felt less attentive and rushed at times. Again, food was amazing. I will go back

A beautiful site, warm and natural, just like the service.
Set lunch menu was fabulous and wine recommendations were perfect.
Would go again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Restaurant. Food is top class, especially the tasting menu.
The ambience for such a class restaurant is relaxed, and the staff are extremely friendly. So much so that they even took us into the kitchen to see how food was prepared when we showed interest.
The presentation and quality is up there with the best I've had. Would fully recommend this venue for a quality gastronomic meal

Nice 8 course meal for two with wine selection 650.00

Great place! Not only because of food but because of the whole experience. Interior, service, atmosphere and, of course, the food!!! The dishes presentation and wine pairing is very good! I strongly recommend, it is really something special!

Brilliant coffee, amazing breakfast. Simply out of this world.

Went for a private party and had their tasting menu. Wonderful ambience and food. I almost wished I d gone privately to enjoy the great views over St James park and choose from the regular menus. Will definitely be going again.

Cool place with unique drinks.

A perfect breakfast to start your day!!

Love the setting and the staff were great I think the rating ia more of a reflection of how the group felt about the food. Whilst the food was good it wasnt as good aa what we have had at the same venue in the past. Would still return but was a bit disappointed aa a group.

Amazing customer service.
Food I give 4 out of 5 . Mine main course wasn't as flavoured as I expected and desert to. But overall is 5 out of 5 expirience.
I can't wait to be back

Excellent food and wine, a bit rushed in the service although waiters were polite.

Great place right near Green Park, cleverly tucked away.
C.
really lovely place, lots of variety, friendly staff - defined recommend (a bit pricey) but it’s london so it’s fine - go when you get the chance

Excellent food served at The Hide above. One for special occasions. Very attentive service and every course is well thought through and delicious.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Love the location just I didn’t like the food, Variety of foods is very limited. Just the food presentation was amazing
The dessert very tasty, love it.

We had the 8 course taster menu with the wine pairing and would definitely recommend. The food and wine was amazing, service excellent and a really nice atmosphere.

Attended a Hennessy Paradis dinner at Hide in Mayfair. A lot of Ollie’s famous dishes were included such as the egg and the warm acorn cake. I’ve also eaten at Hide above and below, both are excellent with slightly different feels. Also make sure you have a cocktail in the trendy bar.

The perfect dining experience from the moment you walk in...

Fantastic experience and one I would love to try again after this Covid 19 pandemic. Excellent and professional staff with a formal yet friendly approach. Amazing food, wine, service and experience all minutes away from Green Park, Mayfair and Piccadilly.

Great food and experience. They like adding flowers to the top of every single dish though!

Was here as a “must visit” for especially Russians place as the co-owner is Russian business man Mr.Chichvarkin. We like it very much. Concept is perfect. Food is very delicious and unique served. Two zones for guests: upper floor with big menu set testings (be ready to pay from 200pounds )))) and ground floor with a la carte menu. Service is welcome, we were hosting by the Russian speaking guy, very attentive and proactive. The only wish is price optimization, as I would prefer to taste more and pay a little less. Anyway, thank you!

Food was fabulous however overall dining experience wasn’t great. Our table was very disappointing. We ate in Hide Above and the table we were allocated was towards the back of the restaurant adjacent to the kitchen and felt like we were sitting in a corridor. There was no ambience compared to other areas of the restaurant.

The ambiance, the food, the fresh ingredients all add up to a pleasing experience.

Amazing food and service.

Lovely baked goods and truffle egg toast.
M. C.
Food was amazing. They take food intolerances very seriously. The service was impeccable. And a restaurant that has a charger under your table? That’s attention to detail. Service was friendly overall but could
be aloof.
