Had the best evening at the Hudsons thanks to an amazing host, delicious food and surprisingly good weather. The salt beef melted in your mouth truffle fries was on point, and not forgetting the onion loaf!!! Will definitely be coming back again!! Thank you Emma for making our evening the best! Would give 10 stars if I could! See you guys again soon!!

The place is lovely clean but it took so long for them to take our order we had to ask twice! But when we finally got to order 3 of us couldn't order what we wanted as they had none left. So order done thought let's see how the food is their was only 2 ladies serving it was Sunday lunchtime should of had more staff not the servers fault the lady that served us was lovely friendly and did apologize for the waiting time. So the food finally came again after another long wait!! All was happy with the food no complaints only the Mac and cheese and no taste very bland.

Food was OK. Just OK however and for the price was not really good enough. Nothing was awful just a bit underwhelming. There were four of us and we tried a wide selection of the menu between us. Everyone had the same response. Average food at above average prices. Staff were really nice and helpful and restaurant itself looks nice. Perhaps good for a group where location is convenient and less about the food.

Hudsons is relatively new to the mill hill broadway strip or certainly new to me. I was intruiged driving back from morrisons off the A1 as it looked inviting and warm. Me and my partner diner and were not dissatisfied at all. Food was tasty and filling I particularly liked the onions rings that were light and full of flavour, not the usual over bearing batter. My partner commented on the ribs falling off the bone. We were served by Roxana who warm energy and pleasant service made the evening even more enjoyable. I'd highly recommend hudsons if your local to nw7 as its different, satisfying and worth the money.

Well!!! What a lovely surprise that was - Tasty, fresh and beautifully presented wraps with a side of onion rings and sweet potato fries. Suitably chilled Rosé, an attractive, heavy glass for my whisky and enough ice to call it 'scotch on the rocks'. The service was friendly, efficient and discreet. Enjoyable background music and a warm, toasty environment contributed to a memorable Christmas celebration. Thank you! We'll be back 💞🌱💞 Vegan wine will undoubtedly give you the 5th star!

Went here for an evening meal, staff weren’t the most attentive and had to be flagged down at every opportunity. Burgers are not served with sides which makes it pretty pricey all things considered. Food was tasty but not anything out of the ordinary. The big daddy burger was big enough and not for the faint hearted!

Great ambiance, lovely staff and delicious food. Can't fault our lunch at the Hudsons. The price was reasonable and the portion sizes were just right. I had a mum's lunch during school hours, we originally wanted to visit another cafe on the same road but it was far too noisy, the setting of the restaurant was alot calmer and we were able to have a proper conversation without having to raise our voices. A nice relaxed cosy vibe, I'll definitely return with the kids at the weekend to see what it's like then.

Absolutely delicious! I had a hallumi jerk burger, beetroot sweet potato and goats cheese salad and pomegranate hallumi fries. Yummy! My son had a childrens meal and it was massive. Beautiful mac cheese fries salad ice cream and drink. Staff are very friendly and the service is great

The food is excellent but the waiting staff do not wear masks and stand so close to the diners that I felt very, very uncomfortable. When I mentioned the lack of masks to a member of staff at the end of the meal (I didn't want to offend our hosts by making a fuss earlier in the evening), she replied "we don't have to wear them any more". There may be no legal requirement but mask wearing and social distancing are still advised by the Government, and most restaurants are taking the safety of their customers more seriously. Sorry, won't be returning to this restaurant.

We visited yesterday on a very wet Friday afternoon. We were made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and unrushed. We enjoyed our meals enormously, with the waitress checking in to make sure everything was ok. The staff were polite and very friendly and we never felt that we were being rushed to finish. The food is excellent and we will certainly pay another visit or two. Well done everyone at Hudson's.

Lovely restaurant and atmosphere. We were meeting friends there. The waiteresses were friendly and we didnt feel rushed with when we had to order or leave. We had starters to share - calamari, nachos, chilli chicken wings and halloumi - it was delicious. Mains were a good size and was delicious - my hubby and his friend had a steak but no sides are provided. He loved the steak and said it was a very good cut. I had the southern chicken with sweet potatoe fries and his wife had a chicken burger. Was really delicious would definitely recommend and will be coming again 😀

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we arrived in this magnificent restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful experience there with great cooking and a professional stuff and an impressive chef. We added this venue in our list and we shall certainly come back very soon. Absolute gem of a find! Food is perfection on a plate! Good selections on the menu so everyone in your party will find something they enjoy. I went with three girlfriends, one is Jewish and has a medically sensitive stomach, she eats sparingly yet her salad she enjoyed with vigor! The other lady has the appetite of a warrior and was equally sated, the third lady like myself is less adventurous but was very happy with her choice, a chicken dish whilst I too chose a chicken dish both were presented in an ' anything but plain and boring way' The service was swift but not rushed, the staff were attentive but not hovering and the other diners were a mix of couples, families and small groups. It is a family venue and clearly states that children are welcome,the atmosphere whilst cosy is laid out in a way that makes you feel your there in your own little world as tables are grouped so one one is on top of one another. I have only one slight issue,and it is only slight,I felt it was too bright softer lighting would give a less harsh feel, it is well decorated but I felt it had a vacant feel, but others may not agree. Finally it is very affordable whilst not skimping on either quality or portion size. It is a relatively new business and I truly hope it receives the success it deserves!!! Made for a great birthday celebration so thank you to Hudson's from myself and my friends!!!

Waitress Service was first class and food delicious. Exactly what you’d expect from an American Brasserie. Cool decor and a comfy banquette seat. Cleaning/Sanitising adhered to- no worries. Would def recommend.

We ordered take out via Deliveroo for a birthday meal, having heard great things about Hudson’s. The burgers and sweet potato fries were great. Jerk chicken was okay. Everything else was a let down from the bland salt beef, to the ribs which didn’t arrive And the mediocre chips. The manager blamed Deliveroo for missing ribs and gave a bunch of useless excuses like she’d deliver them herself if she only had a car! Nothing done from a customer service point of view. Mac and cheese was a tub of cold pasta with a lump of melted cheese on top - no flavour, - like the congealed cream spinach and soggy onion rings. Very disappointing - would have been better off with macdonalds.

Good food and a nice menu selection. My wife and I enjoyed a good burger and chips with our son sleeping in his pram next to us for most of the meal. It wasn't too loud, but had a nice buzz about the place. We will definitely be going back for the desserts, but had to drop with the main meal as it was quite filling with a milkshake!

Five of us went for my sons birthday. Food was lovely and staff attentive and pleasant - all in all a good evening. Dont like the 2hour limit - I can see why its done but it does make things a bit rushed.

Just plain average. The one thing Hudson’s really excels at is how it looks. You’re in Mill Hill after all but someone has spent a lot of time and money making it look smart. The food though is really nothing special - the nachos had cheap sauces and the beef ribs lacked flavour. We probably would have landed at 4* but the service drags it down one more. To have desert menus thrust on the table when you haven’t yet had your mains is just a bit weak, but the gentleman with the goatee is simply rude and dismissive. Ultimately they’ll still do fine as it’s not like the competition is rife round here, but looks aren’t everything.

When we visited the food was ok. I ordered a salad and it appeared to contain tinned sweatcorn, so didn't feel very fresh. Our drinks order arrived and was slightly wrong. When we ordered food we were told one of the items didn't come with chips, even though the menu said it did. After a bit of backwards and forwards with the waiter, it was resolved, but only after he had got it wrong one more time.

Would give 4.5 * as a good first date venue. Nice wood paneling with a Hampstead feel. Hard cafe seating. It could be even better if there were armchairs and dimmer lighting, candles and a longer cocktail menu but the drinks are very reasonably priced.

Went to Hudsons Mill Hill last night for the first time and I just wanted to write how fabulous it was, the food was fresh with a great selection, the service was spot on and the atmosphere brilliant and to top it all off I thought it was great value as well. I love this place!! I would give 5 stars but there have been a couple of occasions where the food is over done. The staff are lovely and friendly. They go out of their way to make it a good experience. I will always recommend Hudson’s to others to try.
