Reviews of Kin + Deum

The Thai Milk Tea and Thai Coffee are highly recommended. Although it is not a sweet as typical.
The starters: chicken and squid dishes are both fried with an average rating.
I had a Prawn Green Curry, although to me it tasted pretty standard. Nothing special where the jasmine rice which comes with the dish was also under done.
I expected more from this place.

Delicious food at an affordable restaurant. A range of options on the menu, including veg options. Nice staff and quick service, with servers recommending some favourites on the menu and helping describe dishes that were unfamiliar. Some favourites were the aubergine starter, coconut rice, duck curry, and pad Thai. Would love to come back again and try more!

Excellent food!
The ambience is cool, the service was good, bit slow to get our starters as they had a big group but we were told so no issues. We enjoyed the food very much as all was super fresh. Will return to try something else on the menu. Good option for vegetarians. Do recommend a visit!

Modern Thai, standard of food is there though I did feel that it lacked the authentic spice and heat that you’d traditionally find in Thai restaurants. Not a bad venue for catching up with friends as it’s walking distance to London Bridge station.

Service from the staff was warm, efficient and reasonably prompt. The Thai fried rice and jasmine tea I ordered tasted very good and I think the prices were also good value for the large portion. I’m on intermittent fasting (main meals after 11 am) and I ate very slowly so I managed to finish the huge plate on my own. All good and tasty and I was happy with it. Now the only major gripe I have is the place — it was very noisy! I was expecting a relaxing vibe given its well hidden location away from the touristy spots in London Bridge. But it was so noisy - I arrived at 2 pm and the place was almost filled to capacity. The placement of tables still looked fine and allowed some privacy but it was the loud chattering in the room that really bothered me. It was so noisy I couldn’t even hear myself think! I wonder how these people can have these conversations. It may have something to do with the room’s acoustics but I hope they do something about it. I have been to restaurants which are not exactly fine dining level, filled to capacity and yet still were relatively quiet. Liked the food but this is not the place for me if I want a relaxing meal.

I got really excited by reading the menu. I wanted to try pretty much all the starters and at least 5 mains. I went for the spiciest main of the menu and it was more than ok. I did not die and my tongue was alright. The dish was very tasty. The Pad Thai was very nice as well. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the starters. The chicken skewers were dry, the aubergine was bland and the banana fritters were nothing special. I would go back to try some of the other mains for sure.
L. M.
I have been coming here for at least 3-4 times already. Nice ambience. Food looked presentable and tasted ok. It helped satisfied some of my Thai food cravings. Would come back again!
H. C.
Great, authentic Thai food. Ordered iced thai milk tea which was very very sweet - perfect for me - and a Pad Gra Pow as a main. They didn't have minced chicken as an option which was a bit sad, but it was still very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent too.
GF ordered their signature massaman curry which was also excellent.
V. L.
Tasty Currys, loved the Tom Kha Soup and Thai Ice Tea!
Wasn't keen on the dessert, we got the Orange Citrus Bua Loy. Funky taste and salty..
g. u.
Went for Dinner here on a Friday night, the food was absolutely delicious, was very surprised at how tasty the banana fritters were. Their margaritas were very tasty and addictive would definitely go again and recommend.
F. V.
Great plates of food at this place a few steps away from London Bridge Station.
A nice choice of tasty vegetarian options, star of the show being the banana fritter starter.
Nice atmosphere inside with dogs and babies welcome. It contributed to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Couple of points to improve on:
- the baby changing table was not hung on the wall, we had to change our baby on the toilets floor
- we ordered the Peanut curry with tofu and were not told that there was no tofu available that day. It would have been nice to tell us when we ordered
V. P.
This has now become my go-to place whenever I have friends over. Great food and great service! Bank's Massaman Curry's one of the best and a must try. The Iced Thai Milk Tea is just heavenly. Everyone of my friends who have come with me to this place are now bringing their own group of friends as they, too, loved the food and the ambience. Will continue to come back.

Brilliant evening. 1st time visit. My friend and I arrived early and we were still seated. Staff were busy (it's clearly popular), but lovely & friendly. They even exchanged a dish for us -so kind of them. Food was delicious. I can't say enough about how satisfying the Red Duck Curry was. All in all a wonderful night. Already looking forwards to going back 9 out 10 😊
S. B.
Came for a birthday meal with friends and had a lovely time. Every dish was raved about and the cocktails were also great! Great value for money too. Thank you for accommodating a big group at the last minute! Will definitely be recommending

NOT AUTHENTIC
The food is ok-ish but most important, this is not authentic Thai food.
I guess the restaurant has customised everything towards “fusion” to serve mainly customers who have not been to Thailand and may have not tried real Thai food before.
It would be acceptable if I have known before hand the restaurant serves Thai fusion food, but it was disappointing when I was craving for Thai food, made all my way to Kin + Deum and every single dish I ordered as I I kept asking myself what food I was eating, why celery and grated peanut were in Tom Yum noodle soup, why carrot was in papaya salad (i.e. Som Tam), pork larb sausage dish was dry and did not give you the fresh & juicy taste like what pork larb salad is supposed to be.
If it was only about food, I would give 2 stars but I added one more because the staff were friendly.
M. G.
Rarely in London, do I visit a restaurant which truly delivers on the hype. Kin and Deum is a well established joint, and really hits the noodle on the head! Their Khao Soi is one of the best dishes I have tasted in a minute! I really appreciated how much effort had gone into each vegetable’s texture, and the creamy turmeric accompanying broth was exquisite. To make matters even better, the place is also a bargain at £80 for 3 persons including a starter and lots of drinks. Thoroughly recommend and would love to return.

Visited for a casual anniversary lunch! My husband and I really love Thai food so were looking forward to it! Overall it was a beautifully decorated space, with good food and friendly service! We ordered the grilled chicken skewers and chiang mai sai oua for starters which were delicious! For mains we both got chicken and prawn Pad Thai with a fried egg on top (and egg fried rice for our son), we felt that it lacked a bit of punch in terms of flavour but was standard. I should say that the portions were perfect! Overall a good afternoon out!
A. K.
Good food at very affordable prices, but what was meant to be a celebratory meal was truly deflated by a very perfunctory and non plussed service by staff. Real shame.
R. L.
Very decent food but whether it is value for money remains debatable. I've been there a few times (mostly with the Amex shop small deal and the good old Eat out to help out scheme).
If you want to order on deliveroo/ubereats, I'd get food from Suchard Thai (which is of very similar 'take away' quality - I think the owners are related too..).
S. W.
This is my absolute favourite Thai restaurant in London. The three owners are really friendly and loves engaging with patrons. I live in the vicinity and am a regular whenever I’m in London. I absolutely love Bank & Rosalyn’s matcha chocolate cake (which was complimentary on my birthday!) and the Grapow :)
A. G.
Delicious, unique and speedy Thai classics! Very suitable for the vegan diners, always packed with a welcoming vibe, however food took its time and if you’re sitting in a nook you may be forgotten about (and your order will then attempt to be taken about 4 times!)
D. C.
Skip the starters and head straight to the mains. In total we ordered 4 starters (squid, summer rolls, eggplant, dumplings) one papaya salad and 5 mains and shared it between 5 people. It was definitely enough food with good sized portions. The Thai Milk Tea was extremely sweet but complimented the food well. The interior was nicely planned out and executed. I get they hype about this place but I wasn’t too blown away. That being said I would come again but probably order a few more mains to share this time.
F. M.
One of the Best Thai restaurant I have been in a long time. The food was absolutely stunning. Nice portions and a party of flavours.
Simple deco with a good service. I went at 16h and it was really good, lots of tables available, which got full an hour later.
If you looking for good Thai food this is the place to go. I'll be going back very soon.
R. C.
The food here is absolutely delicious. Decent prices, not very crowded at lunchtime and fast service. Will definitely come back here. Place is also very tastefully furnished. Great experience! I definitely recommend the Thai noodle soup, simple and soothing.
H. K.
Absolutely delicious food. Good choices for vegetarians and pescetarians. Authentic flavours and plenty of spice. Friendly service too.
The restaurant is just a few minutes walk from London Bridge station in a quiet location. It was my first visit there but I hope to be back before long!
A. R.
Its amazing. Incredibly delicious red curry duck. You ve wasted your life if you did not try it. Actually it is the first restaurant in the centre of the city with delicious foodand good customer service. I would say its definitely a pearl of the central London
V. L.
Amazing vegan and gluten free food. Starter, main and dessert as well as wonderful cocktail. We loved everything. The atmosphere is very pleasant too and the service friendly and professional.
W.
The tom yum soup was very tart and not well balanced. The pad thai could be saucier, sweeter and more full of flavour. Prawns were over cooked and unseasoned. Som tam salad wasn’t crunchy or fresh tasting. The massaman curry and coconut rice was delicious though. A bit disappointed as there are so many great reviews, but this place was average at best.
C. “. I.
Best food. Best service. Nothing generic or inauthentic about them. The staff are extremely friendly and care about your dining experience and the food was stunningly presented and tasty. A well orchestrated establishment!
G. B.
This is a great restaurant if you sit in, yummy food and a stylish interior with interesting dishes.
However they are let down by the food they offer on Deliveroo - watery, salty, flavourless and comes in plastic as well. So, dine in but don’t get delivery would be my advice!
P. Y.
Excellent staff, who are very friendly and helpful. Food tasted good and reasonably priced, too. Extremely crowded, so very popular. All in all, a very good experience.
A. S.
Lovely venue and great loos, just found the food a tad disappointing. Everything was nice but I was expecting more considering all the great reviews I've seen on TimeOut and in the Evening Standard. The spring rolls were OK but lacking something. The seabass arrived luke warm and batter with no crunch. The prawn glass noodles were great though and we enjoyed the tamarind eggs. My coconut and grapefruit G&T was surprisingly delightful! All in all I'd say average food but worth another visit to try the curries, which looked delicious.
V. L.
Great Thai food, in a modern restaurant setting tucked away in a street off London Bridge. I thought the Tom Kha was a little too milky, wasn’t what I expected. The panang beef curry was tasty but the beef a little tough as it was over cooked. The tamarind fried hard boiled eggs were delicious, as was the fried sea bass in a fresh, salty-sweet mango salad. The butterfly pea flower juice was such a pretty drink and had such a subtle sweetness to it, really special.
M. O.
Good food, simple authentic dishes and reasonably priced. Walked in on a Saturday night without reservation, no problem. Friendly staff and a nice setting
T.
Food is very good and the place itself has this nice character! But the service! Where to start! If I was the business owner I would not want this two or three front of the house to serve! Felt like soulless people walking around unfocused not interested not engaged! They didn’t bother to come to check on us or engage with us, didn’t even bother to up sell m! Was so difficult to get their attention! We were wondering if they speak! Unfortunately such service ruins the experience even if the food or the place were very good
H. B.
Fantastic food, excellent service, and reasonably priced! I’ve visited several times and have tried a few different dishes, all of which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed
S. T.
A few friends had recommended this place very highly and I found myself let down when I went.
The food was average, nothing exceptional. The service was polite, but sadly quite slow and not very good - I had to struggle to wave down a waiter at every stage of service (requesting a menu, requesting to order, wrong order given, etc).
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice though. After everything I would just hope that I caught them on not a good day.
D. R.
Awesome flavours! I especially loved the Tom Kha. Great organic wines too. The Carbernet, Shiraz, Malbesc was very good!

Food Quality ⭑ ⭑ ⭑ ⭑

Ambience ⭑
Value ⭑ ⭑ ⭑
Came here after making a booking for 2 on a Friday evening. I had always seen this place quite full so I thought I had to try it. Service and staff was quite formal but friendly. Quite a limited selection of cocktails and drinks. The wait wasn’t long actually considering the while restaurant was full. The mains didn’t get at same time which means That by the time I got my rice and could start eating the rest had already kind of got cold. All the dishes were really tasty compared to other thai restaurants I have been before. Dessert was a hot milky soup with rice balls.. quite original and tasty! I like originality! Toilets felt like a fridge.. maybe some eating could be added in? The biggest negative side though was the ambience. Music was loud and people had to be even louder which made a conversation almost a struggle. I think the whole experience would have gained a lot from this little detail. Average 30/40£ per head. Could come back only at quieter times.
C. C.
You need to be patient here. The service is not the best and not really attentive. I was in a group of 5 and took ages to take our drinks order. Bring the drinks (like 20 min), then took longer to get our food order. Just weird.
Food was delicious so was worth the wait. But if you are in a hurry avoid this place. Or if you like effective service as me, meditate before you go! Ahahaha
C. F.
Been here twice and the food is very solid, fresh, and carefully prepared although not earthshaking. Kao pad gra pow (spicy fried rice) is substantial and enough for 2-4 people. Other dishes like the curries are likely enough for one if you’re not super hungry (or if you order apps, etc.). Prawns are large and in shell, so best not to order on a date or with your boss unless you don’t them seeing you with shrimpy hands.
The spicy dishes are “Thai spicy.” If you know what that means, then you are forewarned. Skip the wine (cheap, fruity, forgettable) and go for beer. Service is friendly, vibe is casual veering on hipster.
Good for groups and dates.
M.
Overall a great experience. I would recommend to try the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry with coconut rice. They did take quite a long time to serve us but overall, for the area that it’s at, its great value for money. We will definitely come again!
S. C.
Excellent and flavoursome food with great service. We went there during the eat out to help out scheme and had a really lovely dining experience.
A. Y.
What a wonderful experience, food was sublime. We opted for 4 starters to share between the 2 of us and then went for masaman curry with coconut rice and stir fried morning glory, finished with home made ice cream. Service was top notch, totally a 10/10.
P. C.
I went there for an event for about 25 people. The staff coped really well with this, so I'm sure they can manage a table of 2 or 4. I thought the food was good Thai, but not amazing.
T. L.
For authentic Thai food in minimalist, contemporary surroundings you should book a table at Kin and Deum where the three sibling owners will take care of your Thai food cravings. Comforting dishes, vegetarian options, contemporary surroundings. Check it out if you work or live near London Bridge.
S. M.
The best Thai food I’ve had in a really long time! We had the Panang curry and Masaman curry and both were super delicious!! It is also a must visit for Vegetarians!
Q.
Nice ambience but the food overall was below average. I had a Khao soi which was a bit too bland, and not very authentic in my opinion. It lacked any spice and was too sweet. Also the chicken just tasted boiled, without being marinated first.
The morning glory and tamarind eggs were nice though. Is this the worst thai restaurant? No, but i think there are better out there at a similar price point.
A. H.
Really great experience. Food was excellent, the restaurant space is very well laid out and very relaxing. The staff were amazing, and Nont especially was amazing and really made us feel welcomed and looked after. Wouldn't hesitate at coming back here!
S. A.
Great discover! Delicious food, super nice staff, cool atmosphere, beautiful decoration.
They hve vegan options.
Only downside, the portion weren't very big.
S. G.
Would go back just for the Masaman curry. It's to die for! The ambience is very pleasant and they have a good selection of cocktails -- try the Thai tea G&T / chili and coriander G&T.
H. Y. Y.
Food was ok! Service was decent but not good enough to warrant the 12.5% discretionary device charge IMO.
The starter Siam aubergine had to taste to it at all, it was like slurping on cooked water, the chilli jam is a must to eat with or you won’t taste a thing. The Tom Yum soup was the standout, extremely flavourful, shame it was a TINY portion. Be aware that this dish is only for 1 person MAX.
The pineapple fried rice was disappointing, flavour was all there but it tasted like it was steamed rather than fried. The rice, chicken were all soggy and wet. Same goes with the pad Thai, soggy and wet to an otherwise flavourful dish. The masaman curry was horridly sweet and barely spicy, edible but thumbs down for me.
Drinks were great!
Dessert was a BIG meh. The banana Bon bons were a mess. The batter they fry them in is more suited for savoury dishes and completely clashed with the sweet bananas. Good thing the bananas they chose were sweet if not I would’ve binned it. The mango sticky rice was OK! Nice but nothing special.
The price was justifiable hence the 3 ⭐️. If not this would’ve barely scraped a 2.
Disappointing! Will only return for the drinks and the Tom Yum.
e.
Very good thai-style food but don't sit around the corner or you will get slow service!
A. A.
The food is delicious and the service is great! The prices are also very reasonable considering the area and the portion size.
C. M.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team at kin+deum, we had a suprise meal for my partner's birthday (8 of us) they were so helpful when I was trying to organise things and ever so accommodating. It really feels like a family business. The food was absolutely amazing, even the fussy eaters enjoyed. I would definitely go again when I'm next in the area. Thank you all!
D. S.
Beautiful and modern decor. Staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty. The prices were not bad at all. Would definitely return here.
f.
Amazing…loved the vibe and the food. Some unusual dishes that I had not tried before but really appreciated as it was something different! Will be back :)
M. W.
Food was very good and service was fast. Was very busy when I visited but staff were very accommodating and managed to sort a table for me. I'd recommend booking a table in advance to prevent disappointment in case there's no space when you arrive. Would definitely recommend and would go back again.
A. M.
Not what I exactly expected. Service was ok, the place has a good ambience.
Food was average, the chicken I ordered was waaay too salty it overpowered all other flavours. The steamed dumplings didn’t exactly taste fresh.
Sorry but I was disappointed.
M. M.
Had a lovely time there. The staff is absolutely great and kind!
Food was good but missing a little bit of flavour if you already experienced Thai food from Thailand.
S. F.
Great food, traditional recipes but with modern presentation and interpretation. Love the massaman curry and the Thai tea infused gin cocktail!
C. E.
Probably the best Thai I ever had in London.
Despite being busy, service was quick and the staff is very friendly. Nice atmosphere too.
R. J.
Really fast service and was incredibly tasty! Came in an office lunch hour with a sizeable group of eight people, and we still got our food quickly.
I ordered Bank's Massaman Curry (vegan) and was a nice surprise that it was made so peanuty-y with a perfect spice level for me (who can't take huge amounts of spice). So satisfying for a weekday lunch :P
K. M.
Always a great experience - dine in or takeaway. Fresh and perfectly balanced, best Thai in London.
L. M.
We came to Kin + Deum without a booking quite late on Saturday evening and they were able to fit us in at a really lovely table. It's located just off Bermondsey Street and minutes from London Bridge. The food was incredible, the staff were really lovely. The restaurant was immaculate and the toilets were super clean. We managed to have 3 courses (lotus butterfly rolls with tofu, massaman curry and mango sticky rice - this was a highlight) and each course was presented beautifully and tasted amazing, 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to come back.
M. G.
Delicious food at this lovely Thai restaurant. Service was a bit spotty as we visited on a crowded Saturday night but the food more than made up for it! Loved the tamarind sauce on the eggs. The claypot shrimp were phenomenal
M. G.
I love this restaurant. The staff are so genuine and friendly, the decor is excellent and the food is brilliant. It’s a great place to come for a quiet lunch and it’s very good value. If you like Thai food, it’s very decent and they also make some authentic Thai dishes. Definitely one of the best places to eat in London Bridge.
M. H.
Very cosy environment and friendly service. The food was very good, apart from the shitake springrolls (£6 for three springrolls that only had glassnoodles inside and no mushrooms). The restly dishes were great. The Tom Kha Soup, green curry and the bua loy desert are delicious. So would surely recommend but I think they should be more thoughtful about the starters thats why a star was deducted
V. R.
Not a bad restaurant, but not impressive either. Prices have recently been inflated too much, so it's now quite poor value both quality and quantity wise.
In terms on flavour, it is very much Western Thai, but even so quite bland.
J. S.
Excellent authentic Thai food with a great atmosphere. You need to book as is very busy.
P. !.
Super Thai restaurant, really good. Cooked and served by Thai it is authentic, and great value
M. T.
I've ordered from Kin + Deum plenty of times before, today was the first time we dined in, the staff are very friendly and hospitable, great environment, highly recommend it!
S. M.
Visited kin and duem for dinner this evening. The ambience, food and staff were all absolutely amazing!! Our food took slightly long to come because it was busy but we didn’t even complain and at the end we were given a discount because of the delay, which was a very pleasant surprise :) Kit was our primary server and he was extremely sweet and amazing! Will definitely be back soon! :)
C. W.
Superb food and excellent service, did very well to accommodate us despite our not having booked a table
H. H.
Lovely Thai food with well-balanced flavours.
One strange thing though, the dessert I ordered, “Vilai’s Kanom”, was described as “coconut ice cream, roasted peanuts, sweetcorn
and golden brioche,” but the dessert I received didn’t have anything on it that resembled what I know as brioche. I asked one of the waitresses but she didn’t even know the word “brioche” and just assured me that I received the correct dessert. 🤷🏻♀️
T. S.
The food was incredible!!! So delicious and full of flavour! The decor is beautiful and service was ok (our waiter was on his 2nd day and although he tried really hard and was really friendly, he still needs a bit of training! ☺️)
R. G.
Such a nice place. Been here twice now and quality remains high.
Good cocktails (Spicy Margarita's for days) and the Masaman curry is to die for.
The sea bass with mango was nice as well, but just make sure there is a Masaman on the table haha. Solid portions as well :)
A. W.
The food was too good that I couldn't help myself to eat them all before taking photos Lol!!
Amazing & authentic Thai food with creative cocktail. Great place to hang out with friends !!
P. C.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and good service.
Real Thai place with good cocktails.
Good prices for an excellent experience.
The place is cozy and well managed.
k.
Food was decent however the soup that was with the noodles was too bland and the vegetables inside was way too hard to bite into, service was good, unfortunately the price was a little too expensive, nice restaurant to try Thai food though.
C. B.
Fantastic restaurant. Really good tasty food. Great atmosphere. Good value for money.
K. S.
The starters were a let down. The banana fritters were dripping in oil. The main was a spicy soup which was really great. Service was good at the start but we were a bit forgotten at the end as it was near closing time and staff were busy with their closing duties. Might try it again in the future.
D. S.
Great food, ambiance and service. Nicer than a quick casual dinner but not uncomfortably fancy either. Great place for a date.
The dishes we ordered were yummy and we'd certainly go back.
S. O.
Great Thai food in a convivial environment. Super staff who provide friendly service.
M. T.
Really great, simple Thai food. I had the squid starter (YUM), and the pad Thai (also YUM, and a very generous portion size). Looking forward to sampling more from the menu.
A. D.
If you find James. Buy him all the fried chicken you can. He's the loveliest manager ever.
J. K.
Great tastes. Well made. Not big size portions through
T. W.
We went there by word of mouth and had a great time. Lovely hospitality very attentive. ..We really like the slightly acidic crunchy papaya in som tum…. I chose the green curry fried rice a different take on from typical Thai green curry, the curry sauce is much more concentrated and coats the chicken rather pleasing...If you look for originality, authentic Thai food with character just can’t go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.
K. C.
Really good Thai food. So so tasty! All the food arrives at the same time to the table, as it should. Good service, nice clean bathrooms, pretty decor. The only complaint I have is that they offer 5 cocktails, all of which are basically G&Ts.
J. A.
Food was So Fresh and Tasty. The dessert was light and not too sweet and Service was Really Good. Definitely recommend it.
L. H.
We went to kin+deum for lunch, the overall experience was amazing! It reminded me of the food I had during my different trips to Thailand, very authentic. I had the crispy oat-coated aubergines as a starter, and the lard naa noodles as a main (my favourite, I highly recommend it). The servers are highly skilled and friendly, true Thai hospitality :)
M. P.
Great food in a cosy and stylish space. Good G&T options.
E. S.
Stopped on a Monday evening here, service was slightly slow but food was worth the wait - portions were fairly sized and flavourful. Prices were very reasonable for a restaurant in central London I’d recommend booking ahead.
K. A.
Was a little in or at the start. Sadly they forgot about two out of the three orders and gave us one free meal as comp! It was a lovely venue though. Just a little disappointing on the order mess
W. Y.
Really good tasty food! Would definitely recommend. 😄
A. G.
Excellent Thai in London Bridge, some inventive takes on traditional Thai dishes, particularly recommend the Squid and Fish Cake Starters! They are also dog friendly which is great.
D. A.
Good service and nice looking restaurant. However I think the dishes look better on paper than how they taste in reality. For me it felt that they’d diluted the flavours too much to suit a more western audience. I would prefer a much more punchy, spicey, bold dish. Found it all a little bland which was disappointing.
J. F.
Really really like the food of this place. Much more authentic feeling than any of the chains and a nice overall atmosphere. Would very much recommend if you like Thai food!
C. L.
Pretty average - we were expecting high hopes for this place as their website/marketing is so beautiful. The restaurant and decor itself are stunning but the food is a bit disappointing and nothing special. It's also quite pricey for what it is (small portions). A great place for a date or an occasion night but I wouldn't recommend it if you were after quality authentic food. It's definitely just an 'Instagram' place. Sadly we went recently and they had changed their menu, which we really weren't fans of - weird flavours that just did not go together!
S. I.
Really nice food, good atmosphere inside. Staff very friendly. Bit slow bringing food out, even when we sent our orders in beforehand
E. C.
Great Tai place! Went with my family and we all loved our food. Really good vegan options and meat options too. I got the panang curry with tofu and vegetables (which is vegan) and it was really good. Cocktails were good too and lovely desserts. Will be coming back here again :)
H. D.
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Much more authentic than we had expected. Nice interior design. Love the Thai tea. Felt fair value but went during eat out to help out. Would go back. Better than Rosas which seem to be everywhere now.
T. M.
Really nice place! Friendly staff, delicious food (with good vege options) and decent prices. Recommended

Went here for my birthday last week and it was absolutely great!! There was a mix up with our reservation so they didn’t have it, but the manager was amazing and still managed to sort a table out for us (6 people on a Saturday night, and it wasn’t quiet). The food is excellent - every dish we had, but especially the chicken satay and the squid. And the staff are lovely. We had a fab time. Also had the best sticky toffee pudding ever, which was a surprise!
P. K.
Lovely place, great Thai food and polite service. Nicely presented, excellent taste.
W.
Very tasty authentic Thai food, lovely staff.
Restaurant can be quite loud and service can be a little slow but always with a smile so that did not bother us.
Go here if you want amazing Thai dishes and friendly staff, maybe don’t if you are in a rush.

I’ve been to this place a few times and I can wholeheartedly say that it’s my favourite Thai Restaurant in London. The aesthetics of the interior and food, the taste, the speed of the service, the waiters and waitresses - the whole experience was just 5 start worthy. Definitely would recommend going there!
R. M.
A nice restaurant with friendly staff. Very respectful of COVID guidelines.
The food was really good in the main.
The Lotus Summer rolls were pretty bland. And the Lard naa noodles just tasted of a weak gravy- didn’t have much taste to it.
I would also say that it was overpriced for what you got.
However the tofu Panang curry was really tasty and would go back just for that.
Having said that I probably wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend
J. L.
A wonderful restaurant with attention to food, decor, and even bathroom! Ate lunch there yesterday (Sep 5). Delicious dishes, great service, and impressive cutlery, water bottle, and ceramic ware. Pad Si Ew noodle was delicious. Bangkok’s Gra Pow was heavily salted (not sure if chef made a mistake).
R. P.
Lovely, elegant atmosphere. Delicious light flavours in classic Thai dishes. Wonderful experience.
S. S.
Hands down the best Thai food I've eaten in London. Their massaman curry is to die for and they've got a new cauliflower dish which is also really nice. Crispy eggs with tamarind are a nice way to get some protein into the meal and their thai tea is a bit sweet (as it should be) and really nice!
L. S.
I ordered in on a Sunday evening and the food was amazing, especially the stir fried aubergine. It was so well prepared, spicy, tangy, and tasty that I ordered the same again a week later. Unfortunately my second order seemed like it was cooked by another person in another restaurant. Very disappointed with inconsistency
s. e.
A real treat delivered 2 us within 20 minutes of earliest expected time 😜 x
We ordered one of their (giant) #curatedmeals which was so yummy - especially the #garlicsquid & #summerlotusrollsprawns & our extra order of #chickengreencurry❤ x #highrecommended #bestthai
even we couldn't polish off the meal for 4, so enough 4 #Sundaylunch 2moro - yum!
We found the staff very helpful with our order & able to accommodate our special requests & were very impressed with their extended distance delivery service #slerp who were very courteous & efficient 😜 x
Our only suggestion & the reason 4 a lost star is that one of the curry boxes was laid on the side in the carrier bag. Although, it was double sealed with clingfilm, it would have been best to lay one of the drier boxes, e.g. rice, on the side instead.
We look forward to coming to the restaurant when it opens again in May after #lockdown to enjoy some of the yummy offers not available on their delivery menus.
GREAT FOOD & FAST DELIVERY
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
BEST THAI

Came here last night, seriously loved the vibes, service and delicious healthy food. Will be back!

If you looking for good Thai food this is the place to go. Authentic dishes, fresh ingredients, nice deco and decent prices. Given the current circumstances, they are professional, always doing their best to accommodate customer requests and continues offering takeaway.
M. B.
**UPDATE**
Having visited post lockdown, I can confirm that the food in the restaurant is just as good as the take-away! Warning: be prepared for a full tummy!
Only had take away given the current circumstances, but the food was amazing! Tried a variety of different dishes across the menu and each of them were full of flavour and of a quality you would expect to receive if dining within the restaurant! Excited to eat in once the lock down is over!

Nice Thai restaurant, not the largest of places, so if you have a large group, best book ahead. Food was good, although not masses of selection (which can be a good thing if you get overwhelmed by choices). I had a chicken massaman curry which was lovely and a good size of you want a large lunch / medium sized dinner. Also note, they do sell puddings, just not listed on the menu (at least not the menu I was given).
Would recommend if your in the area and fancy a Thai meal.

I stumbled upon this restaurant online whilst searching for a place to go with friends that wasn’t too rowdy with all the Christmas party crowds. It was easy to book and they have a good system of sending booking confirmations and reminders which is appreciated. I have been twice before writing this review.
It’s decor is fine and you do feel as though you’re in an old pub that has been given new life. They have tried to pack in lots of seating and the tables aren’t big so you are always aware of people eating on the tables either side of you, and once seated feel like you can’t/shouldn’t move. Even while eating with our party of four our elbows kept knocking. The banquet seating is firm and there are some Interesting looking cushions on the wall which I am still unsure whether they are a design feature, a back rest or to use as a seating cushion. I came to the conclusion of the former and the two latter guesses were impractical or uncomfortable. Another observation was that because of the limited space and the design of the menu (in a flip chart style) you again became very aware of the lack of space trying not to clash menus with person opposite.
The menu has a nice variety of options which are clearly labelled and that cater for all of the modern dietary requirements and intolerances, which was great. There were two gluten sensitive and a vegetarian within our party and they all chose something they were happy with.
The food didn’t take long to come and seemed to be delivered as it was ready rather than all at once which was fine, but with a bigger party there is more chance of things getting cold. Everything was very tasty although the portions were quite small with the dishes we had so one of our party ordered two mains. The jasmine tea was lovely, well presented and we were topped up for free.
The service was polite but a little amateur with the delivery and clearing of plates. On both occasions the staff started clearing plates without asking and before everyone had finished which is bad etiquette. Then having mixed up the used cutlery tried to give them back! We were also told they needed the table back when nowhere during telephone conversation, booking, confirmation, reminders, arriving or eating did they make us aware of any time limit.
The lavatories were like stepping to a fridge! It would really be a good idea to get some heating in there, but they were clean, tidy and in good working order.
In conclusion...
The food is tastes great and there is something for everyone. Definitely some of the nicer Thai food I’ve tasted in a while. But the portions are small.
The service and communication could be improved.
The lavatories are too cold.
Overall recommended and worth a visit. Thank you.

One of my favourite Thai places in the Bermondsey area that feels healthy and nutritious. Love the coconut rice + sweet & sour chicken as well as their banana fritters!!
D. S.
We went to Kin + Deum on Monday evening. The food was fantastic. A well selected menu of declious Thai dishes. Extremely fresh and flavoursome. Coconut rice was delicious, as well as the green Thai curry. To finish off we had some of the golden coconut homemade cake. It makes a change to go to a London restaurant and have such delicious cake that hasn’t been mass manufactured. The service was very attentive, warm and friendly. The interior is beautiful and the restaurant had a good buzz especially for a Monday evening. There is a really good choice of vegetarian options. We will be back.
S. M.
Everything you could ask for from an independent neighborhood restaurant: beautifully decorated, classy, a tasty Thai menu and good value for money. The only issue was with our bill. Paying individually was a nightmare at the end of the night and I think we landed up overpaying.
C. H.
The decor in here is amazing, from everything down to the cutlery. The food is just as good - it has all the best Thai dishes, and does them well. The only downside is sometimes the service is not 100%. They’re always friendly, but a few times they have forgotten things from the order etc, but they always sort it out quickly. The food here is good enough to make up for any mistakes made my waiting staff - I particularly recommend the chocolate brownie for dessert!!
Z. A.
Great food for vegans. Exciting and well balanced dishes in a nice setting. Would definitely come back. MAYBE wouldn't order the Dr Loosen Riesling though... now that was super dodgy.
Thanks to BOJO the restaurant had to throw us out at 10pm however they did throw in a lovely matcha brownie as a 'We're sorry!' gift.
E. C.
A wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with family! Even though there were 9 of us and the restaurant busy (a very good sign)
The food all came out together and in great time, it was beautifully presented, the flavours delicious, fresh, and authentic. The waiters and waitresses were also fantastic, we didn’t feel rushed to make our orders or between courses.
A lovely restaurant and experience which I will be sure to return to!
Thankyou Kin+Deum :)
J. S.
Would be a 5 but the bare walls make it so loud and lack of cocktails. I made ear plugs to get through, however... The food is as good as you expect, I had high expectations and our waitress was awesome. We had green thai curry (spicier than normal which I love), bang kok one of their signature dishes, spring rolls wonderfully fresh. Prawn balls were minced prawns not to my liking but my mate loved them. I would return on a quieter day, though my tissue ear plugs served me well.
A. N.
The food is good and authentic thai. It all has a kick to it but those who wanted super hot didn't really get that. Service wasn't very good and all our meals were brought out at different times so by the time the last person got his food (and yes there were 10 of us but that shouldn't matter) the first two had finished eating.
M. F.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Service was friendly but inefficient. There were three of us. First my daughter was brought a tofu curry, when she had asked for chicken. The replacement took a while. Then my prawn pad thai turned up, then we waited a very long time for my wife's claypot prawns, despite three reminders, and eventually going looking for it. My daughter and I ate slowly then stopped just so we would still have something to eat when my wife's food came. It did, eventually. No gesture was made to compensate.
B. S.
Good value on the food : quality ok, portion good.
Atmosphere and service good
One thing very bad is the wine selection!! Someone needs to do something about it, we had a French Riesling that litteraly taste like water with sulphite!! Nothing to do with an Alsace Riesling!! Fine for £28 but £42 for this!!! It is a joke!
C. K.
I can't recommend this place enough. Some of the best Thai food I have had in London, definitely will be going back. The food is fresh and full of flavor, with perfect portion sizes. We were served by one of the owners who explained the origins of the dishes we ordered. It's a family owned and operated business and the service was fantastic. Since it was their first week open they didn't have some of the drinks and desserts available, so they offered us a complimentary dessert if we brought our receipt back on our next visit.
J. E.
Found this from Time Out and sounded promising!
Walked in and very busy, good signs!
Had a reservation, waited 15 mins longer as the previous people were taking time to pay the bill.
Was seated at a bar type area to wait and had to order a drink multiple times, didn't arrive until 10 mins after we were seated so defeats the purpose of waiting at the bar! Shouldn't be hard just to open a bottle of wine, but apparently it was and the wrong wine was given. Hard work!
Starters took a while to arrive but were lovely, very tasty!
Mains very basic, lacked flavour. My local Thai takeaway is 10x better.
Staff were very sweet and polite but overall I would avoid this place unfortunately!
I had high hopes, maybe they had an off day.
V. 6.
This new Thai place is just incredible. All the flavours are amazing, the menu is very original, the deco is very modern and welcoming. Even their cutlery is so cool and well chosen! Service was absolutely great too. Everything I tried was way above expectations and I'm a big fan of Asian food. I will definitely be back :) !
J. G.
One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to – the staff are very friendly, and the food is fantastic.
The Massaman curry is delicious, and the pad Thai with giant prawns is perfection.
The decor is also very tasteful – very clean and modern.
A lovely, friendly, welcoming restaurant that’s great for dates or groups.
S. M.
Lovely Thai restaurant new to the area. Portions were spot on with plenty of meat included, which I do find at some Thai restaurants to be lacking. The dishes came out hot and were super tasty. One thing we did note was that service did start to suffer once it started getting busier. Prior to that wait staff were attentive and fun. We will definitely be back, it's a great addition to the neighborhood.
A. O.
Managed to find this place by pure coincidence and so far it would be best Thai I actually had so far in London. I mean food was fantastic!
It is a family business, newly opened with family recipes with little twists as learned later from one of waitresses. Loved the atmosphere and decor too. Gin with tea mix cocktail was another brilliant surprise.
Will be surely visiting soon as had wonderful time there and staff were very friendly and helpful.
S. C.
Delicious food, friendly staff, tasteful atmosphere. We had a dinner here with 26 friends and family the night before our wedding over two weeks ago and our guests are still talking about how great the food was! Staff were very accommodating and polite. I look forward to eating there again in the future and am very grateful to all the staff that made it such a memorable night for us all.
J. O.
We live locally and were very excited when we saw a new Thai restaurant in the neighbourhood with a very nice decor. We had a dinner tonight. The food and the service was amazing! We will definitely be one of their regular customers. Everything we had was fresh and very well cooked. Hope it will keep its standards!
R.
Really good food and great service. Particularly liked the sea bass main course, as it was really nicely cooked, fish was really tender. King prawn pad Thai was nice but they only give you three prawns. The clay pot noodles with king prawns were ok, it could have had more sauce and again, portion was quite small (only three prawns) for a main. The chicken curry was really flavoursome.
Atmosphere was nice too. Would come back here again.
M. J.
Super spot for a cheeky Thai meal. Not s huge amount of choice but theres plenty on the menu to appeal to most tastes. The spicy beef dish is particularly good. Quite pricey though the wine menu is priced sensibly.
R. A.
I really love the food here, for me it's one of the best Thai places in London. All reasonably priced dishes and they serve Chang beer, which is a massive plus. I would however recommend staff hold back on asking for food orders, my friend and I barely had a chance to take our coats off before 4 different people came to take our order! Also, not everyone is a fan of American style service of constantly coming over to the table to take items away and ask if everything is ok.
d. g.
Authentic thai food! Amazing service!
T. S.
Lovely restaurant offering modern Thai cuisine.
S. D.
Dropped in here after a visit to The Bridge Theatre a few minutes walk away. It's a former pub that's been stripped out and simply furnished. The restaurant was almost full by 7pm, and because of the hard unforgiving surfaces, was very noisy. Music was playing but was indistinct because of the poor acoustic and contributed to the general din. Now the good part:the food. I was eating on my own, which is not the best way to sample Thai food, but I very much enjoyed what I ate. Crispy rice red curry salad was my starter, and had nice flavours, textures and a nice hit of chilli. Main was Massaman chicken curry, with a side of Jasmine rice. Nice fragrant tastes, and the chicken didn't taste like it had been cooked ages in advance and heated up in the sauce as it does in a lot of places. Service is friendly and helpful. Starter, main, glass of wine and service was £27. Reasonable for central London. Not a place for a romantic dinner, but would return to sample more of the menu.
Y. S.
The food is absolutely amazing, every single thing on the menu was just delicious. Unfortunately the service was way below standard. We arrived exactly on time for a table we had reserved a week ago and still was asked to wait nearly 30 min for the table. Half of our table was completely done with their appetizers and the other half hadn't even received it. We had to remind the servers of our orders a few times. I hope this improves.
M. L.
An elegant and cosy place with inviting decoration. I went there with a friend and we loved our red and green curries. We agreed that the spring rolls were exceptionally good. Would definitely recommend!
L. C.
Very nice food, we went for a lot of the starters which were great and the mains were also delicious. The waiter was extremely nice and was great when we wanted to change our orders last minute. The only disapointment was one of the starters, the thai pork taco starter which was really bad! Would definitely recommend nonetheless as the rest was perfect.
S. R.
Very reasonable prices, straightforward menu with lots of different dishes, plenty of seating and able to accommodate a party of 16 with ease, fast service and meals all to the table within short proximity. They willingly facilitated the presentation of the birthday cake too. Nice place, friendly service
If you were being very picky, you could say the decor was a bit bland?
E. A.
Very nice place. The food is surprisingly creative and tasty.
I. R.
Really above expectations. Atmosphere is pleasant, plants in every corner and stunning piece of furniture. Food is delicious, my curry tastes heavenly. Staff very friendly and ready to help, all for a very honest price. If one thing to say, be aware portions are quite contained.
R. S.
The food was "Ok" - not great. I've had much better Thai food, but it's been so long that I found this decent. The service was REALLY slow. I'm not clear on why people find the interior attractive - seemed basic to me. I'd go again, but only with hours to spend and low expectations. The price is equivalent to the value.
s. b.
Was really looking forward to going here. However we ordered our meals at 8:15 and finally received our main course at 9:55 by which time it was too late eat. No gesture of good will was offered and they still had the audacity to keep the service charge. Maybe they were short on staff and weren't used to how busy it was. When the food came it was very tasty and flavoursome however the next day i received a bad stomach in which the same thing happened to my flat mate last week after dining there. Hope this was a one off and hope to try it again in the future see if there are improvements.
D. W.
Would have been perfect except one of the dishes (of the 8 we ordered) arrived way later than anyone else's. It was busy, so understandable, and the manager took the dish off the bill without being asked. Very tasty food though, and decently priced. Looking forward to going back in the future and giving 5 stars.
S. L.
Lovely service with a super sweet and attentive waitress. I chose the special curry which was well photographed in Google reviews and it was absolutely with it. Really delicious and in my option better than the green curry my fiend had though we agreed to disagree on that. The only thing is that the menu is set in a way that the prices are shown for veggie option and meat costs extra, it's a bit of a downer once you realise it
V. D.
First time trying Bank's Massaman Curry and every bite felt like heaven! It was sooo good. Gorgeous family-run restaurant / bar with authentic taste in all of their dishes. Clean & tidy, wonderful interior. Friendly & bubbly staff who are always happy to help. Love the relaxed vibe in the restaurant too. Lives up to the hype 👍👍
D. F. S.
Food was good if not special. Decor is nice. Service was incredibly slow. The mains came over an hour after we ordered and multiple orders were wrong or didn't come at all. I consider this a place of style over substance.
H. P.
Very nice restaurant with simple but elegant Thai style decoration. The foods are amazing, must try their Fried noodle and Thai green curry. This is a must-eat restaurant for me and will definitely go again.
F. M. M.
Great flavour, size and price. I had the vermicelli and the green curry fried rice and they were excellent. It needs more medium spicy dishes!
S. L.
Had a fantastic meal here on saturday night. Myself and a friend went for dinner, being big fans of thai cuisine this was a lovely choice. We shared the honey sriracha chicken and beef massaman as our mains, highly recommend both. Service was really friendly and efficient too. Not too expensive and in a nicely styled restaurant, will definitely be back.
M. K.
Very good food and wine!
Great atmosphere and also very decent prices.
Will be back!
h. y.
Lovely restaurant and staff. The best Tai food I have ever had in London. love the Pad Thai and Tosted prawns with sesame seeds. Authentic cuisine and Modern recipes. large space of restaurant which is good for birthday party and friends party. Simplicity of the restaurant design which is fresh and relax. Definitely will come back soon.
J. L.
Expedient service with hit-and-miss plates at decent prices! Favourite was the Thai sausage with ginger slivers... outlandish but amazing pairing.
L. A.
I popped in for a very late lunch, so place wasn't full anymore, and possibly why the food didn't take very long to come out, and when it did, it was piping hot. I started with coconut and grapefruit G&T, followed by 3 starter/small plate dishes. Papaya salad, garlic squid, and shiitake mushroom spring rolls. All were very good, tasted fresh and authentic Thai. I was told that but for one staff, the whole team in the kitchen was Thai; lets hope so, but the food in any event tasted like it was prepared by someone who well understands the principles of Thai cuisine. Service was attentive and helpful, with special thanks to Birol, who was wonderfully helpful, caring and warm, and Kin +Deum are lucky to have him. I am glad to have found Kin +Deum, it's rare to find decent Thai around that area and Southbank generally, so this is a welcome addition to the scene. Will return for sure!
A. T.
It’s early days, but the food, service and space are all decidedly average.
The acoustics are bad, so it gets very noisy. A few of our dishes were wrongly delivered, so the kitchen systems aren’t right. The food was ok, but I’ve had better Thai food in London, so it needs to get its quality right.
Give it a month, them some of the early glitches might have been sorted out!
C. W.
Great new modern Thai restaurant. Authentic tasting dishes and friendly service.
J. D.
Yesterday ordered takeway for the first time to this restaurant and it was delicious, had the green Thai curry with chicken and coconut rice everything was amazing!!! Will order again for sure! Thank you
F. L.
Fantastic food and friendly service. We'd been meaning to visit for a while, and finally was able to after all the lockdown shenanigans. Well priced and lovely interior. Will definitely be returning :)
L. D.
Lovely food, goood service and nice atmosphere!
m. m.
Lovely décor and friendly staff but the food was disappointing.
The countryside pork was just chunks of uncooked hard fat and although the sauce for the prawn green curry was delicious, it was ruined by a few pale, rubbery, frozen prawns plonked on top.
To be fair, the staff were very apologetic about the pork and took that straight off the bill but it should never have been served.
Maybe worth another try.
R. H.
This is the best Thai restaurant in London right now.
And it's affordable. The quality is really outstanding. The place has got a unique feel. It's a very versatile place. I am coming back here soon. FOR SURE!
A.
Stunning food in a great environment. Perfect for friends getting together or even just a quick catch up
유.
Starter of crispy chicken was good but not mindblowing. However, the chicken massamun curry was delicious - I could have finished all of the curry had I not been saving myself for dessert. Everyone on our table very much enjoyed the butterfly cake, which was surprisingly light and creamy. The bua loy dumplings tasted good but the soup was a little bit on the salty side, though enjoyable. Friends all enjoyed their mains a lot. Would go back to try different dishes.
A.
Great ambiance, and great food and service. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back!
N. V.
Recently renovated restaurant with a new modern Thai menu. It's a large space inside, a very cosy and bright place to spend an evening or a lunch break in. Portion and prices are very reasonable for the area. Staff are very friendly and efficient. HIGHLY recommend the home made ice creams. We had a heated debate among my friends over which was better: Thai tea or coconut. Try both to see. Also recommend the massaman curry.
B.
I experienced incredibly rude and arrogant service today. Waiter forgot a meal for our party of 10, this would not have been a problem if he’d apologised, instead he refused to apologise and instead blamed us when we clearly ordered it. A real shame as the food is quite good.
Went back, was much better amended review from 1 to 3 stars.
S. N.
Nice thai place. Satay nice - peanut sauce was very authentic. Mussaman curry was excellent. My beef pad gap row was hot and veg crunchy. Lovely service. Really nice refit of the previous restaurant. We will be back.
M. H.
Super delicious king prawn pad Thai. With huge juicy prawns. Really beautifully cooked.
M. T.
Delicious food, in a beautifully decorated setting.
R. V.
Very good food let down by awfully slow service. We had to wave our hands about in the air every single time we wanted anything of the wait staff, including to get them to take our order, and then to enquire after the ETA of our main courses a good 40 minutes after we had placed an order, to ask for dessert menus and tea. Food was good but the service really undermined our experience. Will not be returning.
A. B.
It was a great experience! Very good Thai food and service. Will definitely visit again!
N. B.
Average Thai food: a review from a Thai.
The good:
-Nice ambience, high ceilings and nice decor
-Spaghetti kee mao was good
The bad:
-Sriracha chicken had no flavour of sriracha; it tasted very much like sweet and sour chicken
-butterfly pea drink tasted way too sweet. Its not suppose to be that sweet. We had to return that drink as we literally couldn’t drink it.
-Massamun curry was very watery! It felt as if its been diluted with water. This curry is meant to be abit thicker.
-Son in law eggs aren’t up to the standard I expected. It has been fried for too long so they skin was just too chewy!
A. R.
Good service and a nice variety to pick from , including vegetarian options
A. D.
Food is phenomenal and amazing value. So fresh and so full of flavour. Can't wait to be back here for dinner!
K. P.
Enjoyed the setting and the delicious soft drinks but the service was abrupt. The food wasn't anything special and the main courses took a long time to come. Maybe because the restaurant closed at 3pm but getting the bill was almost impossible as the staff had pretty much disappeared. Not in a huge rush to go back.
J. B. P.
This is my favourite restaurant in London. There is a very relaxed but elegant ambience that makes it a perfect spot to have a business meeting or to even hang out with friends. However, the best part is the food! (and drinks)... I truly love the Tom Kha, Bank's Massaman Curry (the absolute best!) and the gin-infused Iced tea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will be coming back to Kin+Deum soon!
A. I.
Sunday evening group of 9 for dinner. Warm wecome, attentive service. Decent menu and food freshly prepared and immaculately presented. Reasonably priced. Warm on a cold night and not overly noisy. Clean and contemporary toilets.
M. S.
Excellent fresh and delicious food. We had thai aubergine as starter and gra pow and massaman - all as vegetarian dishes - for mains and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Can't wait to go back
B. S. P.
One of my favourite Thai places in London. Delicous food although portions are a little on the small side. Service is great and place is clean
A. F.
Amazing Tai Food, my curry was perfect.. Avoid the expresso...!
M. W.
Original, tasty and reasonably priced Thai food. It's well worth a visit! The spring rolls were crisp and fresh, and the main courses were great as well.
R. A.
Great service, tasty food, good selection of wines. Specifically, we ordered squid, prawn cracker, and green curry with prawn pad thai for main. Everything was tasty and served in time.
J. S.
I got the thom kha and the salad and whilst the meal was fine - the milky coconut milk in the thom kha had a delicate flavour- it wasn’t phenomenal. Service also wasn’t great; it seems understaffed and we often had to wave to get someone’s attention.
S. K.
I live locally and was waiting for a authentic Thai restaurant to come and finally it has. The food is good and original. They are trying to bring proper Thai food to bermondsey and I wish them the best. I'll be here often.
E. F.
The best Thai food I’ve had in a long time! Lovely ambiance in the restaurant too. Worth booking a table as it is busy.
The coconut brownie is worth it!
R. W.
Food was average and so was the price, I'd go again if a friend wanted to but I wouldn't suggest it. This place is good for spicy food and the decor is pretty decent. Service was slow but they knocked an item.off the bill to compensate
M. H.
We stumbled upon this place, and we loved every bite! We had the spicy ground pork, which was phenomenal! Do yourself a flavor, and try kin+deum! Service was fantastic, friendly and fast. We will be back!
A. P.
Super pretty Tai restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff!
K. C.
Really tasty vegan options, and the flavoured waters/juices were unique and interesting. Service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and stylish
S. S.
Always loved this place. But thought to myself if they redecorated and trimmed back the menu it could be a class above. That's exactly what they've done. Think its the same owners and maintains the "family business" vibe but the new chef is amazing and interior meets the trendy aesthetic that most SE1 punters demand. Suchard will always have a place in my heart. Long live Kin + Deum. Carpe Diem
P. H.
What a great restaurant!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the setting and atmosphere was great! The food was exceptional quality, great Thai cuisine!! A very happy customer 😊😊
C. H.
Very good Thai restaurant.Service could have been better and smilier. Had an odd moment entering with a buggy but all good afterwards.portions are quite big and filling and one of the best Thai I've been in London
a.
Loved this new thai place in London Bridge. Years ago normally I went to crucifix lane for clubbing 😂 anyway was glad to discover kin + deum. I had the pork larb as starter and pork belly as main. Both were very tasty. Larb was fresh, spicy and the pork belly super tasty. The atmosphere, decor and staff were very nice too. Looking forward to going back.
G. S.
Thai food was a great expérience at Kin+Deum

Food is excellent, the place is nice, but the service was a bit slow for a weekday lunch!
A. M.
This place is a absolute hidden gem, owned by a lovely family and stone thrown away from London bridge station. Staff are friendly and nice, interiors are stylish but most importantly, food tastes decent and authentic with creative kick in.
K. O.
Really nice setting but service a little slow.
M. C.
The food was really lovely and good serving portion. Serving was slow but the lady who served us was nice. The place was well designed - chic and comfy.
M. E.
Fantastic food and service. Decent vegan options too
K. N.
Really delicious food! Starters were excellent and really enjoyed the gra pow. The staff were very friendly and will definitely come back again soon!
N. P.
Excellent food. Would recommend the satay and fish curry.
L. K.
Ordered on delivery. I can't really say the food was bad, but it was cruelly lacking chilli. Too bad, the few ones that were in the Tom Yum soup really brought a delicious smokiness, unfortunately it needed more. The other dishes had none whatsoever.
A. K.
Very good Thai food, the closest to authentic Pad Thai I've tasted outside of Thailand. Lovely restaurant and quick service.
F. M.
Great food great atmosphere, friendly staff
N. H.
Really good Thai food in buzzing Bermondsey!
C. T.
Food was amazing! Prices were exceptional, especially for a London restaurant! Staff were so helpful and was always on hand, busy restaurant but a relaxed atmosphere.
J. G.
Really tasty food and trendy decor. The space itself is pretty cavernous though so gets pretty loud for dinner. Would definitely return but probably with friends rather than boyfriend..!
M. M.
Really great Thai - both for eat in and take away ! The acoustics aren’t the best, but the food and service are great.
G. H.
Amazing little Thai restaurant amazing service, lovely food and atmosphere
S. L.
Great new place that’s replaced the old Suchard which was half-pub half-thai, but unfortunately not too good at either. This is now focused purely on food and doing it really well. Chill atmosphere, great food, welcoming & friendly service. Hope it does well (without getting TOO busy so they still have space for us!)

By far the best Thai food we’ve eaten in a central London restaurant. Lovely staff and comfortable atmosphere. Amazing.
M.
My favourite Thai restaurant on Bermondsey street
Always fresh ingredients and original flavour
Good quick service and reasonable prices
B. T.
Nice to see a new Thai in the area.
T.
Great friendly staff! Food was pretty much on point, I couldn't fault it. Restaurant was busy when we went but they managed to stay on top. You'll be seeing me again !
H. M.
Love this place! The food is amazing, particularly the massaman curry and the seabass and the crispy eggs!!! Lovely atmosphere too and friendly service. Would definitely recommend!
P. C.
My second visit. The food is so tasty and there is a really nice vibe. Service is good and it is a welcoming place to meet with friends. I intend to be a repeat customer here.
m. B.
Nice staff. Very slow food /service. Half the dishes were lovely, half really, really not! But ate as we're so hungry by then!
K. H.
Loved this place! Fantastic homemade food, great ambiance and location is perfect for London Bridge station. Very reasonably priced too.
F. A.
Thai restaurant nice and smart with the decor and different tables. I thought my dish was ok fried rice was good but the aubergine was rather bland.
The service towards the end was non existent. Half hour later main dish still not taken away despite the place bring empty, asked for bill no bill, eventually just lined up with arriving customers to pay.
R. M.
Cool on trend Interior Design with prompt friendly service and fresh delicate flavours combine to make this light and spacious new Thai restaurant a welcome addition to the Bermondsey food scene.
A.
These guys know how to make you feel the taste of Thailand. Enough said! If you do go there and have a good meal, you can take me there for another round of deliciousness. I will be waiting. :P
R. R.
Great & reasonable !
I. P.
Lovely staff, decent food, a great addition to the area. Very reasonably priced, what more can you ask for from a local restaurant. (Small) dog friendly too!
A. F.
Nice decor, good service. Food was nice but not best Thai, was expecting it to be super tasty but it felt pretty average.
P. R.

Y. W.
Among all the Thai restaurants this one is probably the worst in terms of food. Everything looks nice, but the taste is just not right.
H. L.
I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves one! It is honestly the best Thai in London/Europe!
B. B.
My work had our Christmas dinner in this restaurant, the food was SUPER tasty the service was on point and my entire colleagues were very pleased with the choice of food on the menu, I will definitely be coming back here and would recommend to anyone who wishes to have a taste of authentic Thai food in the heart of London :))

Service was good, some of the menu options weren't available and toilets didn't have any soap. However, food was good.
D. P.
Good thi food in a modern setting.
S. G.
The food was okay, nothing to sing home about. Three things I ordered weren't available which including prawn crackers and rice. Portions for the vegetarian specials were small for the price.

E. C.
Truly delicious and unique
C. G. E.
Great service! Lovely people, very good food and wine. Very reasonable.
M. R.
Excellent refined Asian food. Much needed this to add to the diversity in Bermondsey Street which just has too much Italian food.
C. T.
King prawn pad thai comes with the hot prawns still in their shells. This is madness. Otherwise a nice place.
B.
Beautiful menu with fantastic vegan options. A little on the pricier side but not too expensive.
W. B.
Loved the green curry. It was perfect. I’m always on the quest for the perfect curry. This was tremendous!
