Booked a fabulous lunch here on a Monday afternoon and had the pleasure to enjoy the menu at one of their quieter times. The steak is cooked to perfection and there is a wide range to choose from as well as assorted delicious sides. I would love to return to try all the other dishes that sounded just as tasty. Don’t pass the bread and butter starter. The bread rolls are freshly baked and served with the most heavenly whipped butter with sea salt and served on a gorgeous pink Himalayan salt slab. I also could not say no on dessert and that was a highlight! Snickers cheesecake with artichoke ice cream. One of the best things about M, besides the decadent upbeat and friendly vibe is that it’s dog friendly. On Saturdays they do a 6 legged menu for you and your dog. A round of an applause and loads of thumbs up for this highly recommended restaurant 👍

Booked for a catch up with friends on a Thursday evening. Staff were lovely especially out waiter who was very helpful and attentive. Food was good however we found our dishes to be warm rather than hot. The cocktails were beautiful. I had the pineapple sour and LOVED it.

One of the best steak in London, and you get to have a wagyu here! Wagyu, to be frank, is not the same level as what you will actually get in Japan but the standard ribeye is no less better than the wagyu here. Woule ve great if they serve the soy sauce they have for wagyu, for the standard cuts too. I like the smokiness of the steak here, which I don't get with other steak places in London. Yellow fin tuna starter was really good too.

A hidden gem! Your greeted and made to feel welcomed. The restaurant is below ground and does feel dark but, the restaurant manager explained the menu and the experience we would have, the tables are a little close together but that is the only downside to dining here. The food is of a high quality in its saucing and in its cooking, steak is a speciality of the house and I have to say, they certainly know how to. We were spoken with at regular intervals and this did make the experience. We were offered a walk around but didn’t have time. We will dine again with you and recommend this establishment to all. Really good service and spacious place to have a business meal. Would say the food isn’t bad but isn’t mind blowing either. However they do make an effort with the presentation though with smoke from dishes, etc. We got the pork belly, wagyu inside shirt steak, sashimi for appetizers and crumble cake dessert. Visited M Victoria for a late post theatre dinner given the location, opening hours and reviews. While the decor and atmosphere was quirky modern and the service incredibly efficient, the food was a huge disappointment. Having ordered five dishes I got to sample the cereal chicken (£11.50), the yellow fish tuna (£12.00), the monkfish tandori (£25.00) and the sirloin steak (£29.50) The chicken lacked any real flavour while the tuna was overpowered by a spicy sauce. The brocoli ordered as a side was undercooked. The chimichuri sauce (an extra £3.00) was an embarrassment. With the bill adding up to £126 I was expecting a better culinary experience. It strikes me that M places a larger emphasis on the esthetics of food than the actual flavours and taste. M Victoria is a great spot for a round of drinks and cocktails after work. Food wise I cannot recommend it given at their relatively high price point you have superior culinary options including Temper and Hawksmoor.

Nice relaxing atmosphere, very clean and elegant. Spent an excellent evening with family savouring the amazing menu of chef Jesus Castel. We were greeted by a very friendly staff that offered impeccable service.We were also asked if there are any dietary requirements and the food was prepared accordingly. Everything was amazing and freshly made to a high standard. The service was excellent with the waiter, Salva, was very patient and providing great suggestions. We sat outdoors and service was attentive and active. Drinks were unique and very worth it, in comparison to the usual you'd get elsewhere. Desserts were fresh, homemade and not crazy sweet - noticeable that they weren't frozen at all. Definitely returning and recommend.

I attended this venue on 11 Dec. (PM) I was welcomed at the entrance and directed to the front desk. The venue itself is immaculately clean. The staff were super friendly but professional at all times. I definitely recommend this venue and will revisit.

We went for my partners birthday and there wasn’t that many options that is a nice restaurant and took dogs aswell. This place was spacious and very cool on a hot hot day. Menu for group bookings is limited. Brownie was basically a rock. Starter was tiny but the main (burger and chips, can't go wrong) was good. Overpriced, but nice decor and and environment. 3 stars is a good reflection of my experience.

Fabulous service from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. Staff are polite and attentive, just what you want from a night out. Really relaxed atmosphere with a nice vibe. Steak main was delicious and really was the start of the plate. The only let down was dessert. Indulgent it was not - and the red velvet 'cake' dessert was more bread-like than cake-like... There is a big sharing plate of steak! (£120) If you are more than 3 people, it is worth it! And there is a private seat more than 4 people. Private seat is better :) you can close the curtain if you want. Fancy good vibe and Medium steak is the best..🤤

We went there to celebrate a birthday, and our hotel , The Conrad St James, suggested it since we could walk to it. It was terrific from the start. We mentioned our hotel and they treated us well. Drinks, meal and dessert were amazing. We ordered their specialty steaks for our meals. The food melts in your mouth. Service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! SHAKEN AND DEFINITELY ST|IRRED.. . Watching the Victoria area get gentrified as ever, has filled me with fear. Great buildings have been knocked down to be replaced by uninspired, homogenous shopping centres and with them the ubiquitous chain stores, that London has too many of already. Which is why M Bar is such a welcome addition to the area. This is a beautifully designed bar, restaurant, wine shop and tasting balcony. It's the sister of it's original in Threadneedle Street. I found this venue by accident, wandering to Westminster Council I spot a sign that's always likely to attract my attention "2 for 1 Cocktails in Happy Hour" it was 5pm. Ironically, Happy Hour didn't start until 6pm but as I had explained my reason for coming in the bar they were happy to honour it an hour earlier - a piece of excellent service by all concerned. I ordered the Martini (their signature cocktail), and it has to be said, it was the best Martini I've ever had (thank you Alexandro), both in presentation and taste. Though I was incredibly grateful for that 2 for 1 as at £17 a glass the experience doesn't come cheap. That said the bar staff were excellent, explaining ingredients, mixing techniques and the concept as a whole. The Beef Puffs were a revelation, a free bar snack that would be akin to a Pork Scratching if it wasn't so beautifully prepared, presented and so obviously filled entirely of natural products. If your stuck at Victoria Station or you've just completed a visit of Westminster Abbey (or indeed if you just have a love of food & drinks), this is a definite must for a visit. Undeniably the destination venue it would like to suggest it is.

Decided to go here because me and my husband were looking to meet up with Milo our French bulldog for dinner. From the reservation to the A star service we absolutely loved our dining experience. The staff were amazing with Milo fresh water given straight away without asking and a option of his own personal bone marrow risotto. He got alot of attention the staff were so friendly yet professional. The food was outstanding and the best thing was the sweet potato as a side it was out of this world. Highly recommend!!! We were supposed to have just drinks at the bar but we got tempted by the amazing smell that was coming out of the kitchen and they were very nice to find a table for us. I think we ordered everything on the menu, we were a big group, got a little bit excited couldn’t really finish everything but they packed the food to take it a way and don’t waste it. The meat was excellent, I had the risotto as well and it was so creamy, was just perfect!

The lobby is a bit stark, but the restuarant itself is lovely. Great steak - we had the chateaubriand and it was cooked to perfection. The wine list could do with some additions to cater for a lower price range. Dessert menu needs a serious re-work, and as does the carrot cake recipe as it was very dry and unappetizing. My partner and I stopped off for Brunch, we were seated promptly and the host was very attentive. I was very impressed by the menu especially the vegan items. I have recently changed my preferences and mentioned this to the host; she recommended I try the veggie Courgette burger with the garlic Tzatziki. It was incredible and one of the best veggie items I have tried in a while. The food was served to us promptly, even during the lunch rush was beginning. In general it's a little dull. The place inside is boring, not up to the standards of some other places, which are less posh and expensive. The food is ok, decent, nice flavour overall but I wouldn't exactly call it value for money. Also the presentation of the food is nice. But the portion sizes are smallish, leaving you peckish unless you get three courses and pay an extravagant amount of money. More specifically the fried chicken is nice and good portion, one of the best plates. The tartare is also nice and presentation is good. From the mains, I wasn't very excited about the cod but I liked the accompanying risotto, which was little. The sirloin was good and the sweet potato side was generous and tasty. The chimichurri sauce is indifferent to me and not needed for the steak. Service was friendly and good.

I found this restaurant on Google having never heard of it. A nice cocktail bar before moving to the restaurant which had a great vibe and a fantastic menu, especially if you are a meat eater. i have been in this restaurant last week and everything was perfect! We book the book a table menu that is a very convenient option for everyone !!! You can have 4 courses and free flowing prosecco for only £37.50!!! They give you some good snack at beginning and after you can chose 1 starter, 1 main and 1 dessert per person. The trout as starter was amazing!!!After I took the spring green risotto with peas and asparagus and it was delicious while my boyfriend took the pan fried hake that is was tasty too. At the end we choose the baked cheese cake with crumble and it was INCREDIBLE"!!! I absolutely advice to you this restaurant!!!

Had a three course meal here last night and it was the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. Food - A la carte menu was great, we ordered the chateaubriand which literally melted in our mouths. The snickers dessert was incredible. Service - Was exceptional to say the least. Extremely attentive and caring waiters who pay attention to detail. We told them we were heading to the theatre and they worked at the perfect pace to get us out in time. I took my Mom here as part of her 84th birthday celebrations, from arrival to leaving it was a lovely experience. All the staff were so helpful, friendly and attentive. Good, but not great. A lot of glitz and glamour, has potential, but the service is chaotic! So many staff but no clear idea of who is doing what and in the end offer poor service. I had to bark at our waiter at one point and had to ask three people to even order wine and twice asked for our wine to be poured with it being kept cool at another table! Very well trained to up sell the most expensive courses, with some knowledge of the provenance. The food was good in general and I think it was reasonably good value, but quite expensive even by comparison to some of London's Michelin star restaurants, I'm sure there is better in Victoria. I would go back but I'm not sure I would recommend.

Minor gripe is that the wagyu tartare (pictured) was served with beetroot and we would have liked it with as little extra flavours as possible to really taste the meat, as much as I love beetroot. This really is a minor point of feedback and doesn't take anything away from the whole experience. We'll definitely be back!

I met up with friends for a last minute catchup yesterday, our corner table had the feel of a cosy speakeasy which was exactly what we needed. I had the burger which was cooked to perfection and the liquid cheese had me wanting more! Whether you go for a quick bite and a drink or an evening meal (the steak is the best you'll get in London, fact), the whole experience is always reliably top notch. I can't recommend M enough.

Not only that, but it's dog friendly! We didn't bring our dog but seeing a little labradoodle out for dinner with its owner was so sweet and unexpected in such a high calibre restaurant. Upmarket restaurant close to Victoria Station. My friends and I visited to celebrate a birthday on one of their special offers, a four course set meal and bottomless (for 90 min) Prosecco. The 1st course, a dip, is set & there was a choice of 3 starters, 4 mains & 2 puddings. There was a vegetarian choice on both starter or main, but of course you would be limited, that said this is a restaurant known for its steaks, so probably not the best place for a vegetarian anyway. The dining room is contemporarily decorated, an oval shape with tables in a central lower area, the outer has booths lining the wall on one side, seating probably 6 to 7 people. We were seated in one of these. All of the staff, from the guy who greeted us at the entrance, the receptionist and all the waiters were very professional and polite. I had salmon, followed by steak and chips and shared both desserts. The salmon was nicely presented and the accompaniments tasty, the steak, an Argentinian rump, was well cooked (or rare in my case) and very tender, the puddings were nice. All in all, a very good experience.

More than a little disappointed that the breakfast menu we saw online was not actually available! Oh well! Lost one star. The basement is nicely done up, but it's still a basement! There wasn't any atmosphere while we were there. It was very quiet but the service was very good. Another star gone. I had scrambled eggs with chorizo! Yum!! Seriously good! Other plates on my table looked equally beautiful! They don't have pastries - Like we would've loved pastries with our coffee! Take a star away for that! Good for breakfast but there's better!

As sides we took chips, mushrooms and salads and we shared everything and even them were fantastic. Their selection of wine is very very good. Went to M raw. Great food, really delicate and tasty! If you're gluten-free DO NOT EAT THE BREAD. After making such a fuss of the gluten-free menu you'd think they'd warn you when it arrives that the bread was not gluten-free, my friend who's coeliac very nearly ate it. The staff are also far too present, we had about 7 waiters serve us at different points and they top up your water constantly, just leave the carafe! It was annoying and disturbing to our conversation. However, it really is worth it for the beautiful, light food.

I had dinner at the M Grill on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was busy but it was managed well, atmosphere was very good, in some restaurants when there's a lot of people you can hardly hear what people at your table are saying, but it's not like that at the M Grill. Food was excellent, there is no doubt that the price range for steaks is out of what a normal person would go for every day, but if you want to have certainty that food will be good, you have someone to impress, it's much better to pay a little extra to buy the guarantee in my opinion.

This is the restaurant equivalent of a candidate on The Apprentice: Contemporary, broadly likeable, determined to please, but essentially a buffoon in a shiny suit and pointy shoes. The staff were upbeat but never quite connected with us. Orders were muddled and the subsequent apologies shallow. The kitchen was certainly working hard to excite us with a varied and tasty array of fish, meat and sweet dishes, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. If you can come here on a deal it's probably worth the trip down the stairs, but I wouldn't want to pay full whack any more than I'd invest cash in the lad from Essex who thinks that selling novelty baby clothes in the local market makes him Richard Branson.

My friends and I ate from the free flowing prosecco menu (I'm not actually sure whether they have a separate A La Carte menu but I would assume so). The food was quite good. The black taramasalata wasn't to our taste but one of the ladies in our party had a dairy intolerance and she was brought the guacamole instead which was awesome. Starter wise, many of us opted for the chicken. Some had the salmon (which could have been seasoned a little) but both were good. We all had the steak for our mains and the brown butter cake for desert (although the desert menu had been changed following our booking which was a bit disappointing). Service (especially when it came to ensuring that the prosecco was free flowing) was slow hence the deduction of a star but the staff had fantastic manners and were patient which was lovely.

I have walked passed many times but never been inside but this week I decided to finally try M Victoria having had some many friends and colleagues tell me how good the steak was. 'It's the best steak in london' 2 people told me. Really? Let's find out. The restaurant itself is very stunning visually and offers a tranquil setting in otherwise a busy location. I actually forgot where I was after a while until I walked out 2 hours later ( I blame the wine). The food: Well I am not someone who is easily pleased, having working in the industry myself I have high expectations but I am pleased to say the food and service was exemplary. The Tuna & Watermelon starter was exquisite and was close to being my favourite course, until I had the Blackmore wagyu sirloin. WOW! is all I can say. I have eaten at the Hawksmoor, London Steakhouse Co and honestly as good as both these places are they didn't even come close to the beef I enjoyed during my visit at M. Compliments to the team you've created something quite incredible here in Victoria. My only regret is that it has taken me so long to step inside and try the food for myself.

I was a bit disappointed with the M restaurant in Victoria. The food was average and the offer included a glass of prosecco which was very flat; so we asked the waiter to replace them and he was a bit defensive but agreed at the end - he actually opened a new bottle in front of us; and to our surprise the prosecco was equally flat which was a pity and probably it is not the correct choice. The restaurant and ambience is a bit weird as well as it is located in the lower ground floor / basement so it is a bit dark and impersonal but nicely decorated - not just to everyones taste.
