Not impressed. Please make sure tips go to your staff and not the owner, We visited this place and was told by the staff that they do not receive tips so we never went back. We tipped them quite a lot because we liked the person that served us but they did not get the tip!!! This is unacceptable. Don't care if your food is good. Your customers should be made aware so I am spreading the word. Get your act together. If you lack principals then I don't trust you either with the food I eat or hygiene. We never returned. Rating will go down unless your attitude changes. Don't care there is a pandemic.

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that it was a delightful evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for that fruitful meeting. This place is definitely one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Whenever I come to this place I am highly happy. They keep their very high standard service and the highest level of food they give. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Very recommended.

Delicious food, particularly starters and dessert. The set menu food was great and very generous. We stayed all evening on a Sunday and the service was great, very friendly, swift, attentive and not rushed. We were the last group remaining at 11 and while I have been hurried out of other local restaurants before this time, at Man Chui we were brought complimentary dessert and liqueur!

What can I say about this food. We are a family of vegetarians and the food that we have is delicious,the vegetarian spicy platter is just divine and as for the shredded baby corn with chilli absolutely fantastic. All I can say is amazing food,and always treated with polite staff,in fact we have been going to this restaurant for 25 years as a couple and now with a grown up family,best Chinese ever.

We have been going to Man Chui III since 2006, at least once a month on average. In all these years we have NEVER had a bad meal there. The food, the staff, the service, the overall quality have been consistently excellent. It is highly recommended to anyone who appreciates good, honest Chinese cuisine!

This restaurant was recommended and it has lived up to the mark. The food was absolutely wonderful. We went as a group and had a variety of dishes, all were fresh, tasty and well prepared. The food came on time and Robert and the staff were on hand at all times.Very pleasant atmosphere. Being a fussy eater I honestly can't fault. Looking forward to my next visit.

Acceptable food, not great and not worth a repeat visit.. Quick service but felt like the waiting staff were a bit too attentive. Several of them seemed to be hanging around only metres from the table and constantly passing by. Overall it was ok and reasonably priced, good portion sizes but the dishes were all very similar and some didn't seem that fresh, the tempura was dry and looked like it had been standing under a lamp for a couple of hours. Could do much better in Finchley.

Great little Chinese restaurant. Food is light and not greasy and oily as most Chinese restaurants. Friendly staff, great value for money. Easily missed due to the tinted windows, they should put some more lights outside or something. Always go here and never dissatisfied.

Really enjoyed lunch here on a Friday. Some nice freebies to start: nuts, prawn crackers and pickles. The hot and sour soup was good. As was the sweet and sour. Good service too. A good choice in Finchley Central.

Enjoyed their vegetarian dishes especially with the black bean sauce. My only problem with this place is that the waiters do sometimes give someone else's food to your table. When I was presented with my bill I had no idea what they had written because it was all in Chinese! But it was less than I expected so I still left a tip! I would still come here again.

Get here before midday if you want a table in the weekend, especially Sunday. Nice atmosphere with tasty dim sum. Enjoyed our food and chilled here while not being rushed at any time at all on a Sunday afternoon even through the restaurant was getting busy. Friendly staff.

Although at first the inside looks dated, the quality of the service and of the food is outstanding. I would recommend the crispy duck. The menus are very good value for money and their wines are very affordable as well.

I eat at Man Chui III several times a week. It is a home from home where the staff really work hard to please you. The food is good in the English style of Chinese food, but if you ask you may find that there are some more exotic things available... red curry, XO sauce etc. Robert, the owner, really understands the needs of the gluten-free brigade. Bravo!

This is a really splendid restaurant, a jewel among the indifferent restaurants of North London. Sadly, a discontented and malicious customer has recently orchestrated a campaign of negative reviews which are fake news, pure fiction. What do you call a customer who tries to get away with not paying a bill of less than £9? The person eventually paid when threatened with the police. Now there are all these rubbish reviews by this unfortunate person and her louche friends (unless they are fake people, of course).

if your a chinese food lover like i am and you live in north london this is a must go to for chinese food. My most favourite seaweed and crispy chilli beef. its great for big groups as they have round tables with a lazy susan in the middle which is great. Lovely service and a real traditional chinese restaurant decor - very cozy.
