Reviews of Mildreds Dalston
T. P.
First time trying Mildreds and was I amazed! Spectacular, kind and attentive service.
Rich, unique flavors. Really appreciated the textures of the food. Definitely taking vegetarian to the next level. Appreciated the gluten free options. Definitely looking forward to return.
I think the Google location needs to be adjusted to reflect the correct entrance, as there is construction going on.
A. J.
Absolutely stunning food. Incredibly fresh, and super tasty. If you haven't visited please do. You won't be disappointed. Also dog friendly which is a bonus😍
A. J.
Ordered the Korean burger and my friend a pad thai ! Amazing combo :)
For dessert we had a cheese cake too and some cocktails. The place is really stylish and staff is nice too.
Overall the price is fair base on the product and the amount of food you get.
Enjoy !
R. E.
Really nice place for veggie people and others who want to experiment.
Cozy contemporary interior with nice seating and excellent friendly service. This restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Dalston.
Food was okay. Had a bean burger and a 'kiri hodi' style dish with vegetables and rice. Was nice, required a bit more spices.
Worth a visit if you like vegetarian food or trying something new.

Delicious food. My partner and I are not vegan but we love this place. It’s also a beautiful place, quite chill and cosy.
P. S.
Absolutely incredible vegan fare. The Roman Artichokes appetizer was a great starter, the polenta being super fluffy. The Levant Spiced Kebabs were so perfectly charred, seasoned and meaty. The Basil Polpette Pappardelle pasta and meatballs were also amazing. Paired with an incredible summer drink and wrapped up with the Pink Wednesday Truffles, Mildreds presented the best meal I had in my entire London trip. A trip to a Mildreds will be a requirement for every return visit.

Really chilled atmosphere. Soft, calm background music. Large, high ceilinged room. Mellow, soothing vibe. Polite, talkative, accommodating staff. Interesting, creative vegan dishes. Obviously not cheap but a very positive and pleasant experience overall
M. M.
Absolutely amazing. Decor reminds me of my grandparents place (but make it hip). Everything on the menu is vegan! Delicious brunches and a good selection of drinks.
E. K.
Super tasty food and so happy to find they have an onion and garlic free menu! Lots of flavour which you often don’t get when eating out with onion and garlic free dishes. Dessert was sooo good. Nice to be able to sit outside with lots of space.
S. N.
Lovely atmosphere, the food was tasty and very filling. There was a variety of dishes to choose from which is always great. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, Bell took care of our table, she was super helpful and attentive. Overall a very good experience and looking forward to visiting again.

I hadn't been to a Mildred's for a very very long time- used to go to the Soho restaurant in the early days! Had a really lovely evening with family at the Dalston restaurant- our group was made up of vegans, veggies and meat eaters. Everyone was really happy. We had a nice table and it felt really cosy. Our waitress, Lily, was friendly and knowledgeable. Most people had burgers but I wanted to try something different and lily recommended the chik'n kebabs. So glad, as they were absolutely delicious- really good spicing and great salad. Would definitely come back and want to try some of the other locations too.

First time at Mildred’s Dalston branch and as good as ever. Had Korean burger and the choc fudge cake - very tasty and good portions for me, a total greed! Service was friendly and efficient from Brandon 😍 - lovely night all in all
J. S.
The food over the weekend was spectacular and the staff extremely friendly and kind. I think the girl serving us was called Sandra? She was great. Whatever you guys are doing with hiring and training, keep it up!
R. H.
We had a fantastic meal here tonight. Served by Ellie who gave THE BEST wine recommendations.
Brandon stepped in to serve after Ellie’s shift finished (did we outstay our welcome?!) and was fantastic. Thumbs up all round.
T. S.
Delicious!
Had the Korean Fried Chick’n burger with kimchi, that was a messy, delightful dish.
We also had the Pad Thai which did not disappoint with large portion and egg-like tofu bits.
Desserts were amazing too!
Will come back.
S. P.
Absolutely love the Ruben burger and there gluten free bun is just divine unlike any other GF Buns I’ve had and love that can finally have a burger with oozing gooey cheese out of that is dairy free.
The carrot cake is delicious and The staff were very friendly, helpful and know there stuff as I Don’t usually go for desserts but our waiter won me on it after describing it and she recognised I had a gluten intolerance hence why she recommended the carrot cake and I did not regret it one bit.
Will definitely be returning and love that I can bring my dog here!!
O. R.
Lovely staff with great food. I've been to other Mildreds before and enjoyed it. Had my first time in Dalton branch and was happy to discover they're now fully vegan. We were well looked after during our meal and the food was also amazing. We had banana blossom tacos, Korean fried chick'n burger, and tofu pad Thai. We finished it off by sharing faux-rerro fudge cake. Definitely recommended especially for the lovely staff they have in Dalston.

A nice Vegan restaurant located just outside Dalston Junction station.
Unfortunately the square in which is located is undergoing refurbishment so it is surrounded by scaffolding.
It is a large and airy venue with a bar and ample dining tables.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately we did not enjoy the Korean Chick In Burgher which was hard and clearly overcooked.
The Manageress was very good visiting our table and when told was gracious enough to remove the items from our bill.
The starters however were very good especially the Haldi Gobi and the Portobello.
We may visit again but we shall certainly avoid the Burghers

I was lucky enough to come and dine in this restaurant. It’s all vegetarian restaurant and loving the dishes presented on the menu. The spinach gyoza was delicious although slightly too much chilli oil on mine. The main course was superb, loving the combination of the coconut curry which wasn’t too spicy. This is definitely a great restaurant to come if you want some lovely delicious non-meat option meal.
R. W.
Had an amazing dinner this evening, Sandra the waitress was amazing and took special care of my nut allergies which was a big plus. Will definitely be returning again sooner and not later!
M. J. C.
It's so nice to go somewhere and have your expectations or preconceptions exceeded.. All the food we had was 100% plant based. It was perfectly cooked, perfectly presented.. The textures, flavours, colours were exceptional.. And considering the price, great value for money.. I live South of the river, and was visiting Dalston. Hope they'll be a Mildreds down here one day.
T. L.
The starters were really good but I felt the mains let this restaurant down. Starters included mac 'n cheese, flatbread with hummous, corn bread which was excellent. My main was an ale and mushroom pie which was uninspiring and a tad dry, the burger was okay but again a bit of a let down, my friend seemed to have the best dish which was a curry. I'm glad there are vegan and vegetarian dedicated restaurants so big thumbs up for that. The interiors were great and so were the staff. I'd give the restaurant 3.5 stars if I could but this only allows me to give it 3. If they improved on the mains then it could be 5 stars. If they concentrated on small plates I think they'd be on to a winner!
J. E.
Delicious, well-priced vegan/vegetarian haven. Our new favourite dinner spot in Dalston. Great service too. Only slight blip was the espresso coffee at the end wasn’t up to the same level as the food. Oh but Vegan desert selection was mind blowing!
S. H.
Amazing service tonight from Emma at the Dalston branch. She was an utter joy of sunshine and made my whole experience so amazing! So polite, so caring and amazing personality. Thank you Emma for a lovely night - you’re an absolute star! It gave everything it was meant to give!
P. L.
One of my favourite vegan places in London, the chicken burger, cheesecake and chocolate brownie are unbelievable! And our host, Brandon, was amazing!!!
C. J.
Lily was amazing and so tentative for our large group birthday dinner :) all of the food was delicious. Would definitely come again!
X. G.
Had a lunch on this Monday and what a wonderful place. Can't believe vegetarian food can be utterly delicious. The waitress, Lily was very friendly and helpful too!
The food we had were:
BATATA HARRA MS SU
MERCIMEK KOFTE
HUMMUS & AMBA
They were all very very good!
A. S.
This place is good, but only good. Staff were very sloppy and slow to serve us, which was a shame because the food was so good so it put a downer on the evening. This place is probably better for a simple lunch or takeaway as opposed to a proper place to have a nice vegan meal out in London.
M. L.
Delicious food - you'd never know it was vegan. Great vegetable starters. Interesting cocktails.
E.
A lovely place to eat with friends! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful, but all of that was absolutely outshined by the incredible service offered by Shirwan. He made us all feel so welcome, he was beyond friendly - in a good way! His service alone will absolutely guarantee us to return. He is a credit to Mildreds and an asset to the team. The same can be said for everyone, amazing customer service! Cannot recommend enough.
G. P.
The restaurant has a really big space and chilled vibes, especially in the lunch time is never too busy!
The food is really good but for the price I was expecting bigger portions.
The staff is friendly and helpful!
j. n.
Absolutely amazing experience. Waiters were fabulous and the food was divine. I can't wait to go back.
A. K.
Delicious food - had the Korean burger and sweet potato fries. Really relaxed and pleasant venue and Jessica was excellent!
J. A.
Great midweek treat - veggie curry and vegan chicken kebabs - with delish wine and great service from Rose and Brandon. Recommended…
T. B.
Surprise find in Dalston. Great Vegetarian food (mostly vegan), really good combination of flavours and textures, took some people who had never been to a vegan restaurant before and they were converted! Really friendly and welcoming staff, 5 of us and 2 small dogs arrived late without a booking on a Friday night and they were very considerate and managed to put a table together. Also very dog friendly, got us a bowl of water without asking. Nice relaxing interior and good location by theTrain /bus station. Thoroughly reccomended and will be trying their other branches in London (think 4 in total)
C. R.
Delish food. I enjoyed my Korean Burger - would recommend. Sandra’s service was great.
M. S.
Went here for my mother's birthday over a month ago! Had great food and excellent hospitality from the staff (especially Marta) who were lovely and made sure it was an eventful evening. Thank you so much!
L. D.
Visit Mildreds Dalston regularly for dinner with friends and we are always delighted by the delicious vegan food, excellent wine and friendly staff. Recommend the sweet potato curry, it's amazingly tasty... see you soon!
J. C.
I took a friend who had never been to Mildreds! She will certainly be coming again. We had excellent service from Sandra and Brandon.
J. W.
I'm a meat-eater, but this food could 100% convince me to go vegan....those puddings! Delish. Top notch service from Brandon too - a ledge!
J. A.
Had such a lovely time here. The staff were so friendly and the food was so good (dessert was 10/10). As a meat eater, I'd definitely recommend this place for people who are out with friends who are non-vegan. The chick'n burger was better than a lot of the chicken burgers I've had in the past!
E. G.
Brandon was an amazing waiter! The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.
I. R.
I would like to say a huge massive thank you to Ione for accommodating a large party, last minute due to unfortunate cancellation elsewhere (due to flooding)
She made the situation feel so much less stressful and provided suitable options for us.
The food has been amazing. Highly recommend the Korean burger, coconut curry thing (sorry can't remember the name 😅) and the ricefriend kimchi dish! Amazingggg and let's not even mention the desserts! 😍😍😍
Thank you again!
K. R.
We had a lovely experience at Mildreds for my sons birthday. Good atmosphere. Just the right amount of attention from staff and the food is superb.
D. T.
The food here is lovely and the service couldn't be better
Even as a meat eater I would highly recommend
R. K.
Lovely decor and nice food. Been there already twice, unfortunately the service is friendly but extremely slow and lacks attention, hence 4 stars instead of 5.
P. P.
Delicious food. Rosie and Brandon served us and they were great! So helpful 🙂
I. C.
Tasty food, refreshing cocktails and great service 🌱 🍔 🤤
L. G. B.
Mildred’s staff are friendly, lovely and accommodating. The food is exquisite and reasonable for how tasty it is! One of my favourite restaurants in London.
A. E.
Food and cocktails were lush and service courtesy of the lovely Brandon was the cherry on the vegan cake.
N. A.
Just had dinner at Mildred's in Dalston for my birthday. The food was amazing... Delicious gyoza, Sri Lankan sweet potato curry and black and gold pavlova. With a stunning Malbec. But the highlight for us was our amazing waitress Cora. She was so friendly, warm and welcoming. A real asset. We can't wait to go back again!!
A. Q.
Super tasty veggie and vegan food, I had the sweet potato curry which I've posted below. The staff are friendly, they are taking people's temperatures as they enter and there are plenty of bike racks around if you're a cyclist
N. S.
It was okay, I found the Mildred's in Camden and Kings Cross to be much much better in terms of food quality and taste. Pricey for what it was here, coffee was cold but its nice inside and the decor is nice, staff were friendly
K. J.
We had a great time. Martha and her team was exceptionally helpful. I would visit again just for their friendliness and hospitality. Food may look less in quantity but full of aroma and flavour.
I liked my Kiri Hodi, pita bread and sri lankan coconut sambol. Although I wish I had options to make the sambol bit spicier (I'm from slk 😀)
Martha reminded me of the "Zoe" in "Dictator" movie 😀(compliment)
There is a car park about 2 mins by walk. Free After 7pm. Good atmosphere, serves beer, wine too.
K. M.
Wonderful food and table service - especially from our waiter Brandon! Def recommend.
M. T.
Delicious food and incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Had an amazing meal here and was so impressed by the variety on the menu including delicious non alcoholic drinks. Special shout out to the staff, who helped out when my partner forgot is bike lock and prevented our evening ending very abruptly! We got there quite early (6.15) on a Friday but there were plenty of tables until at least 7. Only thing about going early is there were more kids than I expected for a Friday night, but that calmed down after a bit :)

Food was delicious! I had the Carribbean Jerk tofu and my dining partner had a Sri Lankan curry! All vegetarian and mostly vegan Cornbread and Ravioli for starters!
R. C.
Don’t usually eat vegetarian but had to come here for a friend. Actually really enjoyed it!
V. M.
Great atmosphere and food. Sandra served us, was friendly and full of energy.
S. L.
Pleasant place to eat Vegan food. Even though the food was tasty, it wasn't amazing for the price. And unfortunately, the service was nothing more than almost every other place you eat out. £££.
G. S.
5 ***** for food and service! Special mention to the person that served us, Jax (?) She always makes time for a quick chat and is genuinely interested in your day! A true asset to Mildreds Dalston!
M. K.
I love Mildreds. They automatically ask for if you have any allegeries before you've even sat down. You then get a full allergens menu. My favourite vegetarian / vegan restaurant in London. So much choice!
F. W.
Great new spot for weekend brunch with friends. The blueberry waffles with ice cream are delicious. If you like it savoury go for the vegan big brunch: especially the smoked mushroom was divine.
W. B.
I've eaten in the Mildreds in Kings Cross as well. Vegetarian food has become very trendy, but too often a menu just has 1 or 2 vegetarian options, typically risotto. So restaurants like Mildreds are important to show the possible variety. It's all delicious and even has a great cider option.
M. P.
Luminous and sleek space and slow but kind service: really accommodating. The portions could be a bit bigger, but they make sure you have some room for pudding: the pandan panna cotta is quite good.
R.
I did enjoy my meal at Mildred’s in Dalston (I had the parsnip and apple sausages with mash), but I have to admit my meal was lukewarm and I was under the impression it had quickly been reheated in the microwave. Also arrived as pictured, a bit sloppy looking but it did taste good despite only being warm.
My boyfriend had also specifically asked for no red onion in his halloumi burger (which the girl asked was it an allergy), yet it still arrived with onions... (good job it wasn’t an allergy!).
M. N.
Gorgeous food and absolutely perfect service from Brandon. Thank you, will definitely be back!
M. R.
Had a delicious meal at Mildred’s Dalston, Brandon was super helpful & loved that it was dog friendly !
K.
Plant-based food of the highest standard. Some of the most unique tasty, aromatic dishes I’ve had in a London restaurant. The chefs here actually care about preparing great quality dishes with flavour rather than focusing on them resembling meat like a lot of other vegan places do. Top shelf service too. Their takeaway has saved us throughout the pandemic!
E. F. K.
Really good veggie and vegan food. And my non-veggie husband loves it too. I had the salt and pepper tofu, chicken katsu curry and we shared the chocolate brownie and they were all winners! Highly recommend.
D. L.
Delicious veggie/vegan food!!! Good service and easy to get in at lunch time, go early if you don't want to wait. Photos of the Sri Lankan curry and soul bowl.
G.
Not a terrible dinner but overall very disappointing. We had high hopes for Mildred's and can certainly rate the general ambience, the menu and staff friendliness well. However, it just took forever to get our food and the main reason was that the restaurant prioritized Deliveroo orders above restaurant diners. This was also the reason the doors were kept open and we were forced to wear our jackets for the duration of our meal. By the time the food arrived, we were cold, hungry and over it.
h. n.
Great food and atmosphere and Sadek took care of our group well, thank you!
C. T.
White chocolate tiramisu was. so. Good. Thank you Brandon - great service.
T. H.
Delicious food, fantastic service and spoilt for choice, great drinks menu too! Great for a night out eith friends
t.
Love it! The staff is amazing and so friendly and their food! I didn’t know vegan cuisine can be that good, have ordered with them numerous of times and never been disappointed!
I. E. I.
With my friend we had an amazing night at Mildreds. Thanks Brandon for the amazing service :)
V. V.
The mock chicken and curry is lovely, not sure about the Tokyo bowl, but the venue is absolutely beautiful! Would be nice to get some more kid friendly items on the menu. It is pricey for what it is, it's not on my top 5 vegitarian places in London but on top 10 defiantly
D. D. P. E. S.
Lily our waitress was great, food was delicious.
W. E. B.
Mildreds vegan menu is one of the best in the world . I recommend the soul bowl
M. B.
First time I visited the dalston branch after the hackney half marathon. It was the only place on my mind to get me over the finish line. Such a contrast to the Soho branch, dalston is light and spacious. Food is absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and have great service. Went for the full breakfast and it completely hit the spot. If you're vegan or vegetarian you need to visit Mildred's.
R. G.
Had a lovely meal, amazing service from Lily x
P. M.
Brandon serves us and it was amazing customer service ‘hostess with the mostess’
E. S.
Great food, particularly the dessert ❤️ thanks Brandon
C. h.
Super duper Vegan food. I had the deliciously marinated "chick'n kebab" with faro n pomegranate. So delicious. Staff are fantastic and super helpful. I will be going back.
K. A.
Brandan was the best. Everything he recommended was delicious.
C. P.
Consistently delicious vegetarian food and good service. I like that they keep a relatively small menu and keep the quality very high. They change their menu a bit every few months but I wish they would change it a little more often since I live nearby and am enthusiastic about trying new meals. They have large windows allow in whatever light London may give us and outdoor seating (at least during summer 2020). Sometimes they run out of items for delivery on Deliveroo/Uber Eats, but the dine in experience is always great. 🌱
L.
Been here numerous times, delicious food as always, had the vegan Christmas roast & it didn’t disappoint. Staff lovely. Always worth a visit.
S. R.
I was told about Mildreds some time ago, all things good. The branch in Dalston is quite lovely, set away from the bustle of the main road. It's a good size venue that is clean modern airy and comfortable. There is a great choice of vegan foods that are a generous in size. I was told they change the menu up every now and then, which I think is great.
The staff were vigilant and catered to us well and the influx of many customers that followed. Really enjoyed my meal. I hope you do too.
M. S.
Great food, great service, great ambience. Thank you Brandon!
K. G.
Great food and very friendly service from Brandon!
E. N.
Absolutely loved this meal. ❤
Really nice atmosphere and great decor.
We did struggle to find the restaurant as Google Maps took us to the back of the restaurant and there was scaffolding hiding it from view
M. R.
Great place, very good food. If you look for something a little more fancy around this is yours place
G. B.
Lovely staff, really tasty food but expensive
A.
I like Mildreds, the one here and the one in Soho. Yes it is pricey but the food is worth it. But what is going on with the Music in this location ? A DJ at 1pm on a Saturday with the music so loud it was impossible to have a conversation ...
P. G.
Ordered two meals through Deliveroo. The new packaging is much better, keeping the meals warm. Much better than in the past. The quality of the food is still excellent and we had a delicious meal again.
R. H.
Great tasty food, excellent service and in a clean modern restaurant. The menu is all vegetarian and vegan. We had most of the dishes on the menu across our group so had chance to sample them all. They looked good as well a tasting really good. The desserts were amazing. Couldn't fault the experience.
B. A.
Fabulous experience even for a non-vegetarian/vegan. The food is fresh and delicious. Haysel was really friendly and helpful advising us on allergens. We really enjoyed the burgers- ranchero and mock duck. Nice relaxing atmosphere! We will definitely be back soon!
N. C.
Really tasty food, can't wait to try more! Restaurant is big and spacious, and it was quiet as we had lunch in the week, we will definately visit again
J. B.
My wife, baby and I do not go out eating as much these days and it's always such a great relief when restaurants follow the guidelines.
Greeted with a nice welcome and a helpful manner with signing in.
Everyone was very warm and welcoming and made us feel at home.
The food was absolutely amazing and for the first time, had food envy with my wife's choice. Saying that, mine was bloody good; the chick'n burger. Had dessert too which was banging too. Caramel cheesecake.
Definitely coming back for the chick'n kebab!
G. P.
One of the best vegan places in London. Mildred’s Dalston looks the best comparing to other Mildreds
D. T.
I had an amazing corean burger I would highly recommend it.
M. P.
Informal but top quality restaurant, all vegan now but you don't really notice. Friendly & efficient service.
N. S.
Great vibe. Great service. Thanks Cora for being such a cool waitress 👌🏾
S.
Everything was perfect in a safe atmosphere. Staff were are super friendly and made us feel welcomed. Shirwan who looked after us was very professional and took us through the menue as it was our first time there. We both were impressed about the delicious food and drinks arrived. Definitely would come back again!
K. S.
Top-notch vegan food from
Drink to Dessert. It wasn’t busy when we went, which was great. You’ll leave full and satisfied.
J. C.
Great food and quick service. Between my partner and me, we tried fair bit of the menu and all dishes were fresh, flavorful and simply delicious. I particularly enjoyed Gyoza dumplings, sweet potatoe kiri hodi, and S'nickers. My partner has some allergies/intolerances. The staff was really helpful, knowledgeable and understanding advising on the right dishes for her.
M.
Came here once they reopened during Covid. The food is amazing. We had the humous and pitta, the tenderstem broccoli and then duck burgers. It was all delicious.... and a dessert. A good range of cocktails which we happily made our way through, the staff were happy to talk through different drinks which was lovely, the nicest staff in any restaurant I’ve ever been too. All the staff were lovely and made us feel really welcome for the entire time we were there. Definitely would recommend. Lovely place, will a thousand percent be returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
B.
5 stars is the minimum i would give to this place. it is simply amazing. the stuff is friendly, professional and easy to talk to. The food never disappoints and it never takes more than 20 min to come, it is simply tasty, delicious and organic. i have been coming to this place for over a year now and it has never let me down. moreover, the atmosphere is very relaxing, the music is always on point and the lighting is very calming too. As a whole, i would recommend this place without any doubt.
N. H.
Lovely place for a catch up with my friend. Tiny but delicious cocktails
D. A.
Delicious veggie food. Definitely have the houmous for starter.
A. A.
Always a good experience but found the menu a little limited this time.
K. M.
I thought the food was really tasty and good flavours. Staff were friendly. It was an interesting menu and I didn’t really know what half of the food was however I’m sure it was nice and on trend! I had the sweet potato curry which was a tasty but a bit unexciting, too much sweet potato not enough of anything else - I mean could have added chickpeas or lentils. The problem I have with this vegan restaurant is everything tastes very sugary.. sugar sugar sugar, the starter was like a dessert and obviously was very nice for that reason. But I personally would rather eat a less sugary meal with good quality meat than a high in sugar vegan meal - i’m sure there are healthier ways to make vegan food tasty?!
A.
very good service and very friendly staff. food was tasty..I had the curry and dumplings as a starter. I'm not a vegetarian so it's always nice to be impressed by a meat less dish. There was around fifteen of us dining and when the plates arrived there was definitely a minutes silence as we all tucked in. Definitely four star approval...food alittle Luke warm and not as hot as it should be but maybe because there was a lot of us to tend to other than that a great find in Dalston.
J.
Picked Mildred's based on other Google reviews, as I was out with some vegan friends, and was congratulated by them on my choice, as it was a favourite of theirs.
Even though it was midweek, the restaurant was busy, and so we ended up talking at the bar for a short while, until a table became available.
The staff were friendly and attentive, whilst the fairly simple menu reflected foods from around the world, and was still tasty, despite the lack of meat.
M. W.
Fantastic food! Great staff. Lovely atmosphere. I'm not a vegan person but I could easily become one if someone would cook for me like that on a daily basis. Don't feel like missing anything and each meal or dessert is delicious!!!! This is the place I go to with my girlfriends
H.
The food here I absolutely cannot fault - it was lovely. I'd definitely recommend. The customer service not so good. Waited 30 mins after we finished eating to be able to finally get someones attention after being looked at and ignored several times just to ask for deserts. 12.5% service added to bill ?!?!?🤔🤔🤔
M. T.
Great selection of plant-based food including some amazing desserts (the chocolate brownie was delicious). Really nice venue and accommodating staff - really recommend.

Dinner with my niece and her partner. Her suggestion as I'm veggie and it was fantastic. I had sausage and mash, she had a curry and he had a burger. Quickly seated and served and the food was great. Highly recommend if you're in the Dalston area.
T. K.
Exceptional vegetarian food in a more cafe style setting. Unlike the other editions of this small chain, I’ve never had to queue at the Dalston branch. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Wines that I’ve tried have all been delicious. Desserts are a definite must!
S.
Delicious vegan food and friendly staff, who I'm sure were well-intentioned despite quite a few mishaps - bringing out the wrong dish, forgetting the tea we ordered, and forgetting to compensate the dishes after saying they would. Overall it was a positive experience, if a little chaotic. The caramel cheesecake is to die for!
H.
Wonderful place for good, honest food. Everything we ate was full of flavour and looked beautiful.
We had arancini and gnocchi to start - both faultless, good portion sizes and packed with delicious flavours and textures. I had the teriyaki chick'n burger and although it came on its own it was plenty for me with our starters and a side of miso tenderstem brocoli. My partner had the sri lankan curry, I had some too and it was beautifully rich and came with generous amounts of cashews (not common practice we've seen in other restaurants). I loved that they didn't loose touch of incorporating natural flavours and real vegetables that I feel some Vegan restaurants fail on. Here they stay true to the power of vegetables and what veganism is really about.
We came late afternoon and it wasn't busy and we were given alot of care and attention. Our waitress was happy to hear our opinions and gave us plenty of opportunity to and enjoy our time. I think the location is good not being in the heart of the city so we plenty of time to enjoy the food and not be rushed out the door. It's next to the overground so quite easily accessible. Lovely décor, simple, elegant and natural with a good amount of plants - well worth the visit!
P. B.
We were in London for Ride London and staying with our beautiful friend..... and the rule is that we need to eat beautiful vegan food. And Mildred’s got this! The jerk tofu is just amazing! The tofu is firm and absolutely full of flavour.... and the golden nuggets of mango hidden within the spicy salad are a delight.... But the caramel cheesecake is just amazing and is the best vegan cheesecake we have ever had... EVER!!!!! Try it!.... that’s an order....
m. m.
Absolutely love Mildred's @ Dalston so really pleased to see it reopen. Updated menu offering to keep things fresh which is a good move.
Staff are super nice, very friendly and welcoming. The measures in place to cope with our new Covid19 world were sensible and did not get in the way of having a very pleasant and relaxed lunch.
C. F.
Amazing and tasty food, really kind and polite staff!
h. d.
Wonderful food and service. Thanks Brandon
C. B.
It was amazing! All of the food was vegan because of Veganuary but it was all delicious. I had the banh mi and was concerned that it might not be big enough so ordered fries as well - they were not needed as the banh mi was massive! Also had a biscoff cheesecake and don't really understand how it tasted so creamy and delicious without dairy. We were in a very large group and the service was excellent, particularly from the waiter with fantastic hair. The mains ranged from £8-13 and there was a lot of choice.
A. P.
An amazing find, great vibe and fantastic food! A must try…
C. S.
Delicious place for dinner. My wife is vegetarian but I do not mind eating here because the food is so good. You will not even miss the meat
P. G.
Fake meat isn't something I take pleasure in eating. It's often texturally a form of molten rubber with a taste sensation of cardboard. However this hipster joint certainty has inspired me to pop along again. They have some great wine and dessert options ;)
E. G.
Although Mildreds is a chain what I love about them that you can expect completely different look and feel from each restaurant. This one definitely was going for modern chic with neon signs, high ceilings and minimalist design. The food was amazing as well. Even the heavy meat eaters loved their fake chicken bbq which is always a good sign. Definitely recommend!
L. L.
Every single mouthful of food and drink we ordered was delicious. It's great to see a menu with such a variety of vegan and veggie options that are both fresh and comforting. You get much more elbow space here than in the Soho location and you're more likely to get a seat without booking.
J. O.
A varied menu, all vegetarian, with a few gluten free options. Nice cocktails and relatively cheap although more ice than drink (my reason for giving 4stars).
Beautiful setting and staff were warm and friendly. A mixed crowd with various ages and ethnicities which was great to see. I ordered rice and peas with tofu barbecue sauce, plantain and a fruity coleslaw. It was nice, but would probably try something else different. Would defo go again.
M.
As a big fan of Mildreds Camden, I came here to check out the latest Mildreds opening. Not busy at all on Thursday evening, nice ambience and welcoming staff. Very high ceiling, makes the space feel huge. Food menu was almost identical to Camden, with same great quality. The dessert menu was completely different, I don't remember how ours was called, but it was delicious. I came with high expectations and was happy that they were met.
M. S.
Have wanted to visit Mildreds for about a year so finally got there. Great food and service well worth the wait.
C. D.
Great vegetarian menu with lots of vegan options, I really like the burgers (there is normally 3 to choose from) The last couple of times I have been they seem to have dropped most of the more "traditional" items from the mains (eg pie, sausages, tofish) would be nice to see those again for the winter. The sharing plates are also lovely. Dog friendly too
B. S. C.
Kyle and Sherwan gave us amazing service, great food, great service!!! Highly highly recommend. Thank you!!!
P. L.
Absolutely loved it here. Really interesting food menu and space is all glass, so is flooded with light. Went for brunch and it was delicious. Looking forward to going back to try their dinner menu.
D. H.
Simply, superb vegetarian/vegan dining. I loved the decor and overall atmosphere inside Mildred's, they play great music in my opinion and the staff are lovely. The savoury (starter and main course) menu and dessert menus are versatile and they have options for special dietary requirements. Reasonably priced, not exactly inexpensive, but the quality and taste of the food are well worth the cost.
K. P.
Rarely do I post a review but that levant chick’n and the chick’n burger are next level, 10s across the board. Dropping the prices for the heat at home dishes also makes it a steal. Shout out to the chefs & staff still trynna deliver taste and texture amidst a pandemic.
C. P.
Food was great. Only one of our crowd is vegetarian but everyone was happy and enjoyed their food. Very filling and tasty. Nice atmosphere, modern but relaxed. Staff were really friendly and nice would definitely go again and recommend.
M. E.
After a long day of trekking around England, we were looking for a bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised to find Mildred's within a black of.our hotel. Service was quick and friendly and the food was quite tasty!
I had the vegan bourbon BBQ chick'n burger with fries followed by a caramel cookie cheesecake. Loved it all!
N. S. (.
Food is excellent.
Cocktails lovely.
Speed of service not great.
Staff seem nice.
Atmosphere ok.
Location was tricky to find. You have to look for it.
Parking minimal even after 7pm. Bonus is, restaurant is right next to a train station.
H. J. R.
Absolutely divine food (some delicious healthy options too) yet very affordable, quirky and fun vibes &!decor and wait staff are really helpful and friendly. I love it.
T. S.
Having had a wonderful meal at the Soho branch, i decided to take my a friend to this Dalston one as was passing through. The service was great - which could have been on account of the fact that we were one of only 2 tables eating that late in the afternoon - but the main course (which i insisted my friend also try) was a big disappointment in comparison to the same dish I'd eaten a few weeks back in the west end :(
S. M.
I really enjoy the food from Mildreds! It's fresh, full of flavour and the texture is great. I also Love the presentation of the food.
I'm a fan!
S. B.
Delicious, great service, incredible puddings
M. L.
Good service, nice food and generous portions
d. y.
The best place for vegans/veggies. The interior looks really lush. The chair I was sitting was not very comfortable tho. Halloumi Burger is more like a sandwich rather than a "burger" but still, taste good and healthy.
G. W.
Consistently excellent food. One of the best vegan (with a few veggie dishes) restaurants in London.
Brunch menu is solid, with the mock chicken waffles giving all the amazing flavours of my favourite dish from Duck n Waffle but with zero the dead animals! I always order a side of scrambled tofu because it's the perfect combo...
Dinner is equally amazing, and they do a mean take out/deliveroo setup. So honestly, if you want some of the finest food in East London there is no excuse not to try.
s. m.
First time visiting this branch and my friends and I enjoyed our meals. Only critique is that the service was a bit slow and our bill was brought over to us as soon as our main plates were taken away. It's nice to now have a branch of Mildred's where you don't have a queue coming outside the door!
M. K.
Last year we've been to Mildreds in Camden and my memory tells me that experience was much better.
The day we were in Dalston the food was not hot enough and unfortunately had no wow effect to it. I love when I'm drooling over food.
I had the gyōza, the tofu dish with noodles and some cheesecake. My friend had the 'chicken' kebap. All vegan of course. Fall menu 2019.
Staff was very friendly.
A. R.
Great quality food and a vast amount to choose from, all delcious veggie or vegan options. I had the moving mountains burger which is on for a limited time only, I definitely recommend you get over there and try it out before it's gone, especially if you're a meat lover who's only cut it out due to ethical reasons. It is slightly more expensive than other places, however the quality of the food makes up for this.
S. K.
Mildred's is one of the best restaurants in the area and has become a convenient and dependable favourite. We like the halloumi burger and chips the best and the cocktails are good. They had an excellent raspberry mousse dessert over the summer. Some of the starters are good too. We've not found another main meal we like or would order again; for various reasons they're just not particularly delicious (one of us is vegetarian and the other an omnivore) but keep going back for the halloumi burger and cocktails. Service is usually good too.
A. B.
Super good "eggs" benedict! Their brunch is amazing.
A. M.
As a non-vegan, the vegan food was amazing, drinks were great and staff were very polite!
N.
An awesome veggie restaurant with a range of foods on offer. The menu is comparable to an omnivorous restaurant but all the ingredients are at least vegetarian, if not vegan. You'll find you can get a lot of vegetarian items as vegan versions if you ask your waiter.
The restaurant is a big place situated on a renovated bit of Dalston, just around the corner from the overground station. There's usually a wait in the evenings as there aren't many restaurants like this in the area.
Staff are friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. Ambience is simple but nice. Overall, recommended!
J. R.
So, soooo good. Everything was absolutely delicious. I'm someone who grew up with that "a meal is meat with carbs and veg" kind of thing just unconsciously baked into me, but Mildreds are the absolute best at breaking one out of that thinking, because their food is so incredibly tasty, so much going on, so it doesn't feel like there's an absence of anything. More of an abundance. Will be back to work my way through the menu.
S. K.
Fantastic food and service from Brandon!
S. A.
I was not sure about this place when I arrived with a friend for dinner.
The place was busy, so a good sign... we were asked to get a drink at the bar while waiting for our table, but after 10 mins of waiting (Only ones at the bar) we had still not been serviced, staff were too busy making drinks for seated people.
I had a bean burger but I was not very impressed with it, it kind of all fell apart.
On the plus side the food was very filling and neither of us had room for dessert.
M. T.
A sun trap for breakfast. Inventive and wholesome vegan menu served with cheerful efficiency. Covid 19 safe. Temperature check. Quality hand wash and moisturiser and an antibacterial wipe. Polite and engaging staff
C.
First time I tried vegan food. Loved It and will be back......oh, and the cocktails.......ooooo. lovely
M. B.
Been going to Mildreds for over a year, the food is so delicious that you just can't get enough. Today we had the celeriac skordalia to start..it was sooo good that no-one was talking when eating it, you could just hear the 'mmmmhh' sound! For mains we had the ever-so-good Polish burger and gochujang tofu noodles. As usual, they delivered but please, don't overlook the sides: spicy steamed broccoli and, my favourite, tamarind aubergine...they are do worth it and just delish! Hope you enjoy the food there as much as I do ☺️
N. l. (.
Me and my husband decided to pop in before going to the Arcola Theatre....wow...my husband had the chicken (vegan) kebabs and I had the Sri Lankan curry....TOP food! Great cocktails and friendly staff and atmosphere!! A definitive destination to any foodies whether vegan or not!! Thank you Mildreds!!
J. e.
Nice food and lovely friendly waiter. Out of everything only the clementine polenta case disappointed as bit dull and microwaved (?) so sorta doughy
Avoid the temperanillo ( 2015 dragora tinto ) which was one of the worst organic wines I have ever tasted. That’s a shame as not difficult nowadays to get a drinkable cheap red.
E. K.
Excellent service and delicious food as always, thanks Guilia!
P. M.
Tried the B12 burger. Easily the best veggie burger I've ever had. Good staff, decor not for me and not as cosy as the Soho branch. Very exciting vegan menu! Not a great beer selection.
M. M.
Friendly staff. Food was lovely.
I appreciated the amount of options available. As a vegan/vegetarian, I get bored when everywhere offers falafel.
N. S.
Our first time back after lockdown. Saturday night - amazing Service, despite Restaurant being full all The time. Very friendly, quick & efficient. Cauliflower and kimchi Burger were just a different level - well done Mildreds. Hibiskus margarita - gorgeous drink
T. W.
Used to regularly visit the Lexington restaurant (in the days when vegetarians had very few dedicated options in London) before it grew to the several branches it now has.
First visit to Dalson was a good one. Friendly staff greeted at door and quickly seated. Menu seems to have retained a broadly similar feel to the Lexington offer of old, a few burgers, some curries and burritos and then the more thoughtful dishes you need to look at for a bit longer... just about the right mix of familiar and fresh.
The food was great, the service and ambiance similarly good and the only area for improvement... run a mop over the toilet floor, eh? Your toilets are great, so just keep an eye on them from time to time.
D. S.
Great place, chilled vibe, and amazing food. The staff are very friendly and attentive too, and were very good with someone in our group who was having an anxious time. One of my favourite places in all of London!
D. J.
I usually go to Mildred's for a more relaxed brunch or tea with kids, but popped in today needing a very quick refuel. Had a delicious mac and cheese with a coffee in 25 minutes from arriving to leaving, and change from £10. Efficient and friendly service too.
J. S.
Don't worry if you are not a vegetarian.... avoiding meat wont kill you. I really enjoyed my lunch here. Prob not the place to lock yourself down for a few rowdy bottles of wine, but nice to try something a bit differrent and a bit more upscale than other places in Dalston. Just try it...you may like it even if you are not a real veggie.
A. a.
Food is always great here! I love restaurants where i can actually pick everything on the menu. The staff is kind and gives you the time to order no matter how busy it is. Definitely worth a go!
M. F.
Sometimes one wonders what a chef is thinking of? In this case it was a Spirit Bowl that contained a very confused spirit:unbalanced flavors and a glob of tasteless mayonaise-like goo that didn't manage to make the over-sweet death-by-raisin quinoa hearty. And it overwhelmed the nice taste of the Asian -flavoured salad. Service is fast and prices rather high: no meat and still £18 on the bill!!!
E. F.
Great grub, friendly and efficient staff, and the most thorough (but definitely not overbearing) covid precautions I've come across in London. Felt very reasurred that staff and guests were safe. An example to everyone else. Will definitely be back.
D. A.
Good food but...... we and others waited significantly longer than we would expect for both the starter and main courses to arrive. In the interim, however there was a steady stream of deliveroo couriers arriving and leaving promptly. Now, deliveroo imposes time penalties upon restaurants which now seems to be of greater concern to managers than their sitting customers.
That is a bigeroo mistake.
If we stop coming because we spot a delivery service sticker in the window there will be a lot of large empty 'take away' restaurants struggling for business.
In the end our poor service resulted in a generous discount, very good, but that surely negated the similar number of take out meals prepared?
An interesting sign of the times which will ultimately lead to yet more restaurant closures as the public gets lazier with each new 'techno benefit'.
Bad news.
M. P.
Mildred's used to be our favourite Vegan restaurant but now with so many other restaurants and vegan options to choose from, their menu seems a bit outdated. The portions are on the small side, and especially the Mildred's in Dalston had more the vibe of a chain restaurant than the warmth of a small business.
S. O.
I'm not even vegan and loved this place.
A. G.
We had a great time at Mildreds. The service was efficient and quick. The food was amazing, full of flavour! Deserts are absolutely to dye for!
a. d.
Absolutely brilliant! Great food, great staff, great music and to top it all they allow dogs! We had a perfect evening here.
A. P.
Love Mildred's but 4 stars because my visit to Dalston resulted in me returning my food twice..... so third time lucky. I had ordered with specific instructions- the quality of food was good, the service was not the usual standard.
C. T.
The best vegan brunch and vegan cheesecake
L. H.
Tried Mildred's restaurant for the first time today. (There are four around London, we went to the Dalston one right next to Dalston junction tube station).
Everything is vegan on the menu except for a couple of vegetarian dishes. As most things are vegan, the menus in the restaurant say 'NV' next to the few non-vegan options which made choosing extremely easy to do.
I had psyched myself up for a green falafel burger and sweet potato fries, so imagine my disappointment when they said their fryer was broken so I couldn't have either :(
BUT... The food I ordered instead was so so nice that it didn't matter at all anyway! (Phew!) Even when they sent my burger out without the vegan cheese initially it was so nice I couldn't be mad!
It was amazing, with the flavours packed into what I had, with every other bite i kept saying to my partner how nice it was and I'm not normally THAT bothered by food when we eat out.
I had: Corn bread with chilli lime butter (£3), a bourbon mock buffalo chicken burger (£9) and a side of Roman style artichokes, chargrilled on crostini with smoked garlic aioli (£7). Then a chocolate sauce and cookie dough sundae with vanilla ice cream (£6.50). It was all really tasty and cooked well. The corn bread was stunningly good.
I'll definitely be taking my sister there soon as she is vegan too hopefully once the fryer is back up and running so we can choose from all items.
Would definitely recommend and would be a good place for veganuaryists I reckon as it was all awesome indulgent treat food. Tbh I'm glad there isn't one nearer to me or I'd put on a few pounds 😂
Anyway just wanted to rave about it as the food was so nice. Happy new year fellow earthlings! 💕
m. c.
This was recommended to me. I thought food was devine. Although little pricey for what it was. But the wine came so late. We couldn't understand why they couldn't bring wine before food came. We asked twice before it came. Then it eventually came and we had to ask for it to corked. While DJ and most of staff were great. Due to a tiny mionity of staff were I don't think we will go again
A. B.
Cuisine was ok but small portions such as two slices of halloumi and jam for starters for £4. Main meal of falalfel and brown rice was satisfactory along with the brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream. Service was good overall.
A. S.
One of the best take aways I have ever had in Dalston area. The food was so tasty and nice, the packing was very good too to keep the food warm enough. Definitely I will re order again.
I. G.
Good vegan food - good taste and nice menu. Service can be better though however I am assuming the waiter was just having a bad day, nonetheless the foods is very good, well done guys keep it up
G. (. M.
Very nice place ! Good vegan options, including nice deserts and cocktails.
Similar to the branch they have in Camden and I personally liked this one better than the one in Kings Cross.
L. F.
Amazing. Great customer service. Yummy food
K. C.
Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent atmosphere.
Met DJ Navy Seals outside and had a ~45 mins chat, most of which was me complimenting his music at the bottomless brunch.
Excellent show, keep it up!
C. W.
Morelly cherry porridge, coconut toast to share for breakfast, sublime
C. C.
Brandon served us and he was greattttt
T. B.
One of our favorite places. Food is excellent and so many vegan options. Drinks are awesome, atmosphere and staff is awesome. You really can’t go wrong with this place.
D. H.
Food and service is great but the desserts and cocktails are to dye for :)
I really enjoyed the sweet potato kiri hodi. You can't go wrong here!
O.
My favourite vegan and veterinarian restaurant. I always go for the burgers which are fantastic and full of flavour. The staff and their level of service is are brilliant and I'm never disappointed.
G. L.
Mildred's is veggie-vegan but there's a great variety of food, enough that a chap of a carnivorous nature can be easily satisfied. To start I had gyoza with chilli sauce. The menu didn't explain what was inside them and I couldn't tell specifically from the taste but they were delicious. Five in a portion is pretty generous too. For main a Sri Lankan curry was the curry of the year so far. Coconut, crunchy brown rice and a punchy sambal sauce in a ramekin on the side to spice it to your preference. I whacked in the whole lot and enjoyed. Chunks of butternut squash and beans made it nice and filling.
House white at £21 a bottle was delicious (Hoopoe if my memory is correct) and the service throughout was attentive without being intrusive. I'm sure there are more 'authentic' (whatever that means) vegan places around the area but I'd thoroughly recommend Mildred's to veggie and non-veggie friends alike.
P. H.
Modern vegetarian restaurant. The waiters response to request 'Can I have a glass of lemonade please' was 'Oh! That's old fashioned, I'm afraid we don't serve lemonade, can I offer you something else instead'
M. C.
Eaten in various Mildred’s and have never had even average food. Always been amazing. Was excited for the dalston one to open, as it’s really close to me. However I was really disappointed in the food to be honest. It’s a first though, so putting it down to an off night. Will certainly be back.
J. H.
I think it's overpriced for what it is. The food tastes nice but isn't particularly healthy or nutritious. Also not much for kids except for chips and rice, everything else is spicy. Pleasant staff and fast service but not worth even the initial 50% off.
F. G.
This branch is a lovely place where we spent some quality time.
Food was good, atmosphere was relaxing and we really enjoyed our date!
N. D.
Mildred’s is my favourite place in London to eat, the Dalston site in particular, all the staff are lovely and the food is out of this world. I love it every time I go.
A. D.
Lovely place. Very cosy with vegetarian and vegan food. Really nice flavours. The staff were very nice and friendly. A lovely brunch place.
T. F.
Never fails to deliver good veggie food.
L. H.
Tasty food and great ethics! Was v.loud though.
N. d. P.
Never disappointed by the food or cocktails!
T. K.
Delicious plant based food. Everything I tried here so far was amazing!
P. R.
Truly best vegan place in London. They really show what vegan cuisine should look like.
F. W.
Delicious as always though the Dalston branch of Mildred’s does lack the charm and appeal of the original SoHo outpost. Mildred’s takes over from a number of restaurants that have tried and failed at the same location but they seem to be doing alright for themselves. The cornbread was average but standouts were the soul bowl - as healthy as ever - and the tandoori “chicken” dish which was out of this world. A mixture of 4 kebab size seitan/tofu/quorn? fillets, black dahl, parathi (similar to a lighter roti), onion slaw and yoghurt cucumber made this dish to die for. As ever with the changing menus at Mildred’s, you can expect to try something new every time if you come on a semi regular basis but here’s hoping that the tandoori chicken will make the cut for the future.
R. C.
Always great food, tasty and day service
M. Y.
Delicious food and great service! Maki took great care of us😍
A. G.
Some of the most exciting vegan/vegetarian dishes. Beautifully seasoned, beautifully thought out, beautifully crafted. Brought my carnivorous friends here... they loved it.
L. B.
Delicious! A really great restaurant with a varied menu, amazing drinks and really lovely staff.
S. F.
Really nice and bright inside, food is lovely and they have a really wide selection of cuisines to appeal to everyone! Good for small tables and larger groups
W. H.
Brilliant food, excellent service. Situated on a wind-swept corner overlooked by multi-storey apartments but not hemmed in. Very good place, handy for the tube station.
p. s.
Great staff. Bit pricey for the food they could knock of maybe two pounds off the brunch dishes. The desert was amazing the peanut brownie, I dream of it
v. b.
Another amazing place. Mildred's has it all. Great food. Especially for vegan. Staff, atmosphere, everything to the finest detail perfect
D.
A perfect restaurant with a good level of service‚ all the food served tasted amazing. For an all vegetarian/vegan restaurant it was a fabulous experience to eat here.
B. C.
Delicious food in a light and airy setting. Are outside - taking the chance while we could. Helpful and friendly staff.
K.
Nice food but it felt really rushed which wasn’t very relaxing. Waiting staff whipped our plates away the minute we finished chewing and the next course was there in minutes. Slow down!
P. M.
Nice venue, good food, friendly staff. All good things! Was hoping to try a Moving Mountains B12 burger, but they no longer sell them for some reason...
B. D.
I had a lovely mock chicken burger, my boyfriend had vegan tandoori chicken that I also tried and it tasted great. Really nice food and service.
C. L.
Always a favorite restaurant of mine, service was lovely and will continue to go back
K. I.
Good cafe to work when tired of WFH. It is vegetarian and has a cool ambience. WiFi and limited charging sockets
L. C.
Amazing burgers! The mock meat is brilliant, the staff are very accommodating too, I look forward to going there for an evening sit down dinner very soon.
A. N.
Delicious food - gluten free & coeliac friendly too!
S. M.
This is probably the best Mildred's. I like Kings Cross too but this just pips it for me. The burgers are insane.
T. J.
Service is okay, food is so bland.
M. S.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants I have visited! Great menu and delicious desserts!
F. G.
Food is good but rations can be quite small depending on what you are having.
The place is very well decorated.
Food is served fast.
S. W.
Great place for vegetarian food with plenty of options, does get very busy at peek times. I would recommend the mock chicken burger which was lovely.
T. S.
Really enjoyed everything about my visit. Service was great, food was delicious.
S. m.
Good food and nice service, a bit expensive and food is a prepared with mix of spices that remind me Indian cucine... wasn't my cup of tea but overall I was happy
H. D.
Really good vegetarian dishes for a reasonable price. The atmosphere of the place is nice as well, enjoyed the soft lights.
P. W.
I wasn't very excited about the menu in the beginning but everything tasted really good. My veggie sausage mash was amazing.
s. c.
Great atmosphere and food! My friends and I had a flavorful 3 course meal. Recommend the Gyoza dumplings and Srilankan bean curry
E.
Huge portions and nice staff
J. J.
Excellent service, great menu choice.

This is mine and my partners favourite Mildreds restaurant. Great atmosphere and cracking food. The staff are always friendly and helpful ❤️
N. C.
Great quality vegan food and lovely staff!
K. A.
The fried polenta dish must stay on your menu forever!!!
T. T.
Great food, great vibe. Not a vegetarian but but definitely enjoyed the food and would go back. Great Freindly service!
S. K.
Amazing decor and the view makes it very cosy almost makes you forget you are in Dalston. The food was great too and surprisd me the chicken burger was actually vegetarian 😄
W. P.
No queuing outside for this particular Mildreds. Big and airy compared to cosy Soho. Food as good as ever, reasonably priced too. Polite staff. Easier access for wheelchairs/pushchairs.
C. H.
Amazing vegetarian cuisine in an interesting modern setting. Food was full of flavour with some interesting ideas and dishes. Highly recommended.
J. T.
Food and service is great, tasty and fresh ingredients.......make for fine dining. I came during the not very busy time of the day Tuesday 15:00hrs, great!
L. D.
Delicious food however there was a large draft which made it cold by the windows. The music was also mediocre and excessively loud
b. w.
Excellent vegan food. Everything on the menu tastes sooo good!! Great cocktails too.
M. K.
Fantastic food, finger likicking
G. D.
Fantastic menu wonderful food and really great service. Couldn't fault a thing would definitely recommend Mildred's to anyone

Great food, worth the medium price. Very friendly and accomodating staff.
I. S.
Always brilliant vegan food. Great portion sizes, I always leave happily full.
J. S.
Amazing breakfast, always great service, one of my local favourites.

great food and staff is always friendly
A. I.
Amazing team, very good vegan food 👌
J. P.
Food was great! A very nice calm atmosphere. Perfect for a Sunday evening meal.
I. H.
The food is great like in all of Mildreds places and the stuff is really nice. The only problem is that it's a bit pricey
M. M.
Really friend staff and great atmosphere. Portions are a little small but the food tastes amazing.
C. G.
Good food, friendly staff, really enjoyed my evening. Would definitely go again.
J. A. S.
Excellent vegan choices. Really enjoy the food.
N. R.
Beautifully done food! Oh and the bread.... 😁😋
N. P.
Gorgeous food, carefully prepared with dishes to suit all moods. Bit pricy but still worth it

Delicious food but pricy. I didn't realise the lunch discount was for takeaway only - auch!

The Soho branch is abit more quirky and cafe style this one is a little more sleek and modern. Great eats and customer service

Tasty food, a bit expensive considering...But poor service. Waiter mistakenly brought two rounds of drinks and went on to accuse us of ordering two rounds at once...

Very busy night here. I had to wait 30 minutes for two chicken burgers which was well worth the wait.

Not run in the smoothest way, the food is ok but not executed with the greatest of care. The starters are better than the mains.
