Wonderful restaurant, the food is absolutely brilliant and authentic, the staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the venue is so nice. We’ve been here three times so far and loved it. We came here for my daughter’s birthday and the staff made her evening so special. We returned a week later and they remembered us, remembered our youngest daughter’s allergies and made sure all the food she had was completely gluten free, checking not only with the chef but also checking each of the sauces used. Highly recommended, so happy to have this restaurant on our doorstep. Thank you!

Really nice Thai restaurant. Totally recommend their Cashew nut and tofu Pad Thai, it’s divine! Their cocktails are also super tasty, my new favourite is the Hawaiian one. All the waiters and waitresses were super kind and friendly, they provided one of the best services I’ve ever had. The only improvement I’d suggest is put someone nicer at the door. The guy who was there yesterday (Thursday) wasn’t very welcoming. He made a face when we said we haven’t booked places (we were only 2) and sounded like we weren’t welcome.

Went there on 23rd of August 2021 with my family. This is another restaurant I had been meaning to go for some time. Location is really nice, beautiful scenery. Not great for parking though, and not ideally located for public transport. Saying that, we parked about 2 minutes walk away on Docks Road. It was extremely busy for a Tuesday night, though it got emptier after around 8.30pm. staff were friendly and attentive. The waiter we had was an extremely polite and helpful young man. Gave us great suggestions when we needed it. Table decor could do with some creativity, white table covers noways looks rather bland. Decor around the restaurant is nice but dated. Ambience was good. Food was great, everything we ordered tasted on point. Roast Duck was really high quality, Tom Yum soup very tasty, and Mixed Started was also faultness. The main courses was equally good, The Beef dish from the meat and poultry section was my favourite of everyting we ordered. In the end we were so full we could not go dessert. Portions was okay, not big but also not too small. Food was served promptly even though restaurant was busy. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, definitely worth a visit if you are nearby. It's good and somewhere I would go again. Giving it 4 stars because even though I had a good experience, I have had slightly better food and experience at 1 or 2 other Thai Restaurants.

My husband took me out here for our wedding anniversary it was such a romantic date night. The atmosphere is amazing. Love the decor. Fast service and food was delicious. I loved every minute of it and so did my husband. We had a waterfront view while dining which made the experience beautiful. They made our anniversary special with the dessert that said happy 3rd anniversary loved how much effort the put in it and loved the sparkler. Everything was amazing.

Lovely place to have dinner. It’s best to reserve a place if going in the evening as it gets very busy. The food is brilliant from starters to the mains and dessert. Location is nice too. The only thing that probably needs a refurb are the toilets.

An amazing dining experience with a waterfront view. The food was delicious! From the fiery temple mocktail to the prawn sakuna, it was tasty and very pleasant. Food came quick and the staff were friendly. If you fancy some oriental food in an exotic location, Nakhon Thai is worth visiting!

We ordered four dishes last night. I would say the portion of the Fried pine apple rice is generous. The rice wasn’t quite match with what we expected. It seems like too much turmeric powder and lack of pine apple flavour. What i appreciated is the sea bass and sweet chill deep fried fish. Also the flavour morning glory was good. And the mango sticky rice is not very authentic, the mango is not sweet even a bit sour. My friends quite like the sticky rice but myself i didnt agreed. Anyway worth to try this restaurant.

Went here on Friday 6 August 2021. Table booked for 7.30 and the restaurant was very busy when we got there, and stayed busy all night. Food was good. Excellent scallops to start. The mango sticky rice was enjoyed by my wife. Portions were not the largest, which was ok. Price was about £180 for 4, including 10% service charge and a bottle of wine.

I ordered from here for the first time tonight. I ordered the green curry, the sauce was fabulous, really very good. Nice and spicy as well as having the sour notes you would want from a green curry. My only complaint was that the chicken was overdone , but I suspect this happened during delivery as I know with the heat the meat can continue to cook. I've given them 5 stars because I genuinely don't think the chicken was overdone when it left the resturant and I dont think it would be fair to mark them down for an otherwise perfect dish. I will certainly order from here again. Thank you.

Beautiful and authentic Thai Restaurant in east London. I felt the food tasted as close as possible to the food I have tasted in Thailand. Service was great and welcoming, portions were good size and delicious. Both of ours cocktails were really tasty and I loved also the Thai Lemon Iced tea. Overall it was a great experience and I will go again.

Restaurant was very welcoming, clean and great authenticity reflected in the decor and staff uniforms. For starters we tried both veg and non veg platters which were great due to the variety. For mains we went for two different lamb Curries and garlic fried rice and I must admit the flavours in the rice and lamb dishes were mouth watering and distinctly different. We also ordered two mocktails which were refreshing, particularly the apple mojito. Staff wore masks at all times and seemed to be adhering to covid guidance including track and trace scanning and checking body temperature on entry.

Went here on a dinner date with my wife in the evening. It's located by the Thames which was a very nice walk from the car to the restaurant. There is free parking on the road nearby. The food was nice, I don't have anything negative to say about this place. They had a PDF menu that you could view in your phone due to coronavirus which was helpful. They offer non alcoholic cocktails (mocktails) which me and my wife always enjoy. The staff were friendly and make you feel special. Wasn't too expensive. This was also on the eat out to help out which was a bonus. Also Halal.

This restaurant came highly recommended and I was extremely glad I listened to my Mrs for a change. We walked in 10 minutes before the kitchen was to shut but the staff were really accommodating. Everything from the food, the drinks, the decor and the ambience are going to impress you. The seafood dishes were not overcooked unlike many places. Book a table, go early and grab a table outside if the weather permits. You won't be disappointed.

Me and my 2 friends were recommended to visit this restaurant by the hotel we stayed in. We did not book the table, but the waiter was very very helpful and managed to get us a table although they were fully booked. I can not recommended the pkace enough, amazing atmosphere, really lovely interior and food was out of this world!! I was shocked how big were the portions and food was really amazing! We had a joint birthday celebration and visited this place yesterday it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Amazing location. The food was so fresh and so delicious, every mouthful was a Joy! Glad we’ve discovered this lovely place hope to Visit again very soon. The decor was delightful and ambiance pleasant. First class professional service the manager arranged to plates with names and birthday wishes on it and brought ut it over 2 waiters and a waitress singing happy birthday definitely a place to go for any celebrations. Quite pricey place, very authentic aesthetic design and good staffs. One thing I just wanted to point out is the price, quite pricey. We both ordered a starter which cost £9 and what came was something that could not fill the mount of 2 people. It is ideal to buy two starters. My main dish was rice with chicken and nuts, I couldn't finish the food for personal reason, but the food portion I would say was good. The aesthetic is very good, feels so Thai like with the statues, and design, best is the napkin style design which was very elegant. We had water also ice was provided bceuase it was hot weather, we sat inside upside and there was a fan blowing. The 4 sauces that came with our starter were all So nice!!! I ordered a coconut drink and my partner ordered a Thai lemon tea, she requested for more lime because it wasn't limey enough. My drink tasted like a vita coco poured into a glass with ice. Toilet is ok.... Not that bad but I do like the wall paper and design. Staffs were very nice and friendly, good customer service. What we ordered 1 starter, 2 main meals, 2 drinks all came up to £42 :( Not worth it, if you would like to try a Thai dish and don't mind the price, then this is for you because the restaurant design and staffs make it feel like you are in Thai land. If price would be a problem but still want Thai food, I would suggest you try somewhere else.

Happy to be back at this place, the food is really amazing and service is great. The restaurant has revised safety measures in place during this unique time, so it’s worth booking ahead in advance. They currently have two opening sessions, 12-3 & again from 6pm. On this occasion we chose an afternoon luncheon. Cocktails were amazing and food was delicious, something about the restaurant is missing at the moment but not worth mentioning or summing up in fear of undermining the good service efforts and good food that this establishment offers! Attached are a few snapped parts of their menu which at the moment you access using your phone via a QR code on your table inline with their non contact service. And a few pictures of our orders. We dined as a group of 3 and we all had starters, 2 drinks each and a main, our bill with service charge & tips included came to £56 each.

We've been here like once... The location is rather nice, great views of the Royal Docks, getting here isn't hard, you have your Royal Victoria and West Silvertown nearby which are DLR stations and your local buses too. The place itself is also rather nice, we did like the interior. The food was good, one of the better places for Thai cuisine. One note, we wanted to book a family dinner for 8 guests but they had a rule that after a certain time, they don't allow kids, so we spend £350 elsewhere. I found this very strange for a restaurant in general, so keep that in mind. Great place for the view and the food.

Decor is a bit dated, needs updating, especially the floors, my chair fell due to the uneven floor which was a huge embarrassment, I decided not to take it any further as it was a busy Friday evening. Certain staff members seem a bit over friendly, picking and choosing certain customers to entertain. We visit this place on a regular basis however I don't think I will be visiting again anytime soon. Food was okay, the platter was the best, as always. We enjoy dining out every now and again, however this will be taken off the list

Only a handful of places actually serve authentic thai food. Nakhon certainly is one of those places. My go to dish, which is the Chicken green curry was cooked to perfection and they even had eggplant in the curry too. It certainly took me back to Phuket and I would go back here. Reasonably priced and the decor was great too.

Can’t say the same for the main course, said it was a spicy chicken dish but more like chicken in black bean sauce, plus it was mainly peppers and onions. The cocktails were big and we enjoyed these. Couldn’t fault the friendly service and the ambience. Would be back for the starters when next in the area!

Very nice food which arrived super quick due to there being so many chefs in the kitchen! The staff were really pleasant but not as attentive as in most restaurants...had to wait a while to order, to pay and no one spoke to us during the meal to see if all was well. That was minor. They served us large portions so we took our leftovers home! We will definitely be back.

This is a hidden little place. I’ve been to Thailand and this place is a close match! I really loved the deco and the atmosphere is quite ‘Thai’. I enjoyed the food and staff were pleasant and friendly. I would definitely come back! A great place for a bite. Though probably not too often as it’s not ‘cheap’. Reasonably priced but not cheap. I’d imagine on a sunny day, this place would be ideal as you can also go for a stroll by the river.

hefty service charge of £12 even though the person serving us got my order wrong twice and forgot to bring my drink and i had to ask another waitress to help me... she was probably having a bad day but it was a bit of a downer having to wait 40 mins for food being sent back and corrected because of miscommunication... but the food makes up for it! my compliments to the chef for making such delicious, flavourful, aromatic food! would come here again for sure but just make sure to reiterate your order at least 4 times as the staff aren't the most attentive, but again it is completely understandable as the place is packed out and they are busy! but others may not be so understanding about that, lovely food anyway!

An excellent Thai restaurant close to London's Royal Docks in E16, serving authentic curries and delicious desserts. I particularly enjoyed the green curry with prawns, followed by this wonderful banana crepe with vanilla ice cream. The drinks menu also has a broad selection of classic and contemporary cocktails and mocktails.

Enjoyed the food on the whole, disappointed stir fried rice was quite mixed through so had clumps of white rice with no seasoning. The duck dish I purchased was bland, and could have had more flavour. I wish the fat had been rendered, and the skin was crispy. A high price for what was a basic meal which could have been so much better.

This is a great Thai place. If you are at Excel don't follow Google maps, it says you need to hail a cab. You can walk along the Waters edge to just behind the wakeboard park. Very well executed Thai food. A must visit. Tom Kha Gai is creamy not brothy as it should be. Sarah was awesome and the dumplings perfect. Looking forward to dinner here!

Food and drinks were lovely, they act like they sticking to the new covid safety measures by asking people to wear the mask at all times unless they’re on their tables, but then the tables are too close to each other’s u could literally hear everyone’s conversations loud and clear!!! Doesn’t make sense. The 10pm rule made it even worse by them booking more people in and putting tables too close to each other’s. But still.. loved the food and would come again n a less busier time.

If I am scoring this restaurant 5 starts for a home delivery order then I am probably guessing the dine in experience will be just as good. The food was delicious, I asked for it to be extra hot and they did just that, make it extra Hot! Just what I needed. Just tried ''Chi Chu Tofu'' as a takeaway. This dish tastes wonderful. Tofu was very soft and well marinated. Most of the places offer fried tofu which is unhealthy, however, tofu here was absolutely fantastic! The sauce was lovely sweet/mild spicy. I loved it. I definitely recommend to try food here! Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from but i absolutely love this place. Right now due to lockdown restrictions, its a shame that we can't eat in in restaurants but i have previously and the decor, atmosphere and location is amazing. The place is decorated with thai ornaments and the atmosphere is very classy. If you visit in the evening, you are seated to experience a beautiful candle lit dinner looking over the thames illuminated by the city lights. Even so, I recently ordered a takeaway and as always the food was 10/10. I asked for a med-well done steak and it wasn't too grey or too pink nor was it dry; the flavours of the gravy along with the steak and the chunky vegetables come together like an orchestra in your mouth. Speaking of chunky vegetables, they have a huge variety of vegetables; all cooked amazingly and the choices of vegetables compliment the curries or stir fry options. I ordered a duck - you will be happy to know that the duck is in no way dry or chewy which is so satisfying. I ordered a cheesecake - i ordered one for myself and one for my partner but after i took the first bite.. she unfortunately got left with half a slice.. sorry! I really am not a fan of tofu but i ordered their pad thai jay n the tofu was fluffy and delightful - still had the nuts to light up the textures. Egg fried rice is egg fried rice - tasted good, had nice sizes of egg in it and the rice wasn't mushy so a thumbs up from me. Lastly, the banana pancake with ice cream - cant go wrong; love pancakes, love banana - nice and warm to go with the coldness of a sweet ice cream - love it. The staff are always nice and welcoming so i wanna give you guys a huge thank you!

I have run past this restaurant so many times in the morning when I visit London but I had no idea what a surprise & a delight lay within. The food & service was beyond impeccable. If you just looked around, any of the staff were available and couldn't do enough for you, the service was beyond 5* and the food was insanely divine. The starters, mains, everything, out taste buds were on overdrive. Even the decor was really warm which added to a great ambiance. Do not miss a visit here. It is beautiful in there, the drinks are wonderful and the food was delicious. It was my first time having Thai food and i feel like the restaurant brings culture to London. Real Thai restaurant with delicious food. I ordered nudles with prawns and seafood plate. Nudles were amazing, exactly according my taste. Seafood plate was bit spicy but not hot only spicy but also delicious, very soft. I was super full but I had also ice cream (green tea and coconut) which I strongly recommend as the flavor was really rich. I have never had such a tasty ice cream (green tea ice cream not at all). One unfortunate thing, staff don't speak very good English, maybe I was not lucky but I wanted them to advise something and only men were able to talk to me and advise much more than women. Anyway strongly recommended if you like Asian food

The food is amazing & so is the service; every time we go, the staff are super friendly and make us feel so welcome. The restaurant was patient for majority of the invited guest to arrive before commencing the serving. The food was really good and on point. The dessert too was good. The location is somewhat difficult to get if you're not driving especially when attending the restaurant at Night. It is 10mins walk from the West Silvertown DLR station. However, I wouldn't advise you walking down because the road is quite lonely and quiet. I had to drive down to pick up a friend from the station so believe me. But if you're travelling in a group then it's fine. Above all I highly recommend this place for a quiet dinner by yourself, with your partner or for a group. The price too is manageable.

This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in London. I admit I am a bit biased as my Wife and I celebrated our Wedding there and we had a blast. The service is always very polite in the Thai way, very humble and any mixups are fixed immediately at no cost to the customer. Their food is amazing, a bit too spicy for my liking (albeit I cannot tolerate any spice level at all so don't judge them on this based on me). Their best in my opinion is the seafood platter and of course the iconic Pad Thai which my Wife loves. The best dessert is by far the mango coconut rice. Absolutely delicious! Oh yeah, the view is amazing as you sit directly in the flight path from the London City Airport so you get to see planes take off (not on Saturdays though) and it is a sight to see.

It was the window that drew us in: there was no point reading the menu as the text was far too small for our eyesight! Inside, starched white linen and elaborate menus hinted that it might be something special. I always have the same thing in Thai restaurants - chicken satay and chicken with cashew nutes. The satay was delicious: very tender pieces of chicken and a rich, peanut sauce. The chicken with cashew nuts was good, perhaps lacking in sauce (I like to pour it over my rice!) but it was my companion's lamb curry which stole the show. Very tender, good flavours, and an arresting smell. The food in this place is good an the staff attentive. My only suggestion is that they have a little music just to add to the ambience.

It was the first time I visited a Thai restaurant in London. I do not consider Wagamama as Thai restaurant. I went there with my wife after a recommendation from a friend who lives close. The food and the service was really nice. I am not used to some spicy dishes but I loved the quality of the curry, I would definitely go back again with friends.

This gets a high 5 for me and I'm no star giver but credits when it's due. The food was great from starters to desserts. It has been a while since I have been to a restaurant and didn't feel that I should have stayed at home. Guys I can cook!! and when I go out and spend my cash I want the food to be on point and not feel like I am throwing those pounds. The Service was friendly enough. The place and surrounding is lovely. May I suggest a romantic walk after super. My only criticism is that the service charge is included in the bill. My friend did not like that at and ask them to remove it even though he still paid the all thing in cash. I guess the man has got principles. Anyway for me it's a 5 because the food was great! Sorry no pics we jumped straight in. Next time I promise!

We've been on several occasions to Nakhon Thai and had the chance to sample a selection of dishes. The food is authentic and to good standard, and typical Thai dishes. A wide selection of items is on the menu (not understanding the reviews that say the menu is "limited" - it is not). We've always been delighted with the food. The room is lovely, and reminds me a bit of ski chalet - cozy but spacious and in an excellent location overlooking the water at Royal Docks. On warmer days their outdoor patio along the waterfront area is quite nice. As Greenwich residents, we quite enjoy taking the Emirates Airline over from the O2, which also makes this a great place to take out-of-town guests, since the trip to the restaurant essentially turns into a really interesting "experience". Overall we rate this 4-stars: good standard, nice room, interesting location due to the proximity to Emirates Air Line and Royal Docks, friendly staff.
