Lovely location and great food. If weather is nice and rooftop is open, you can enjoy beautiful view with good food. We always enjoy Nando’s but during our last visit to cutty sark branch one of the staff who was serving food to us was in so hurry that he almost touched garlic bread to the table. And then trying to convince us how you can still eat the bread as it was not completely off the serving plate. I hope this won’t happen again but otger than that food was really good and we enjoyed it.

Very good location and very nice views, this makes this Nando's stand out. Perfect for the family or a casual restaurant type. Came here for a little dinner, quick order taken and served main and starter within 15 mins. Other than having no butterfly chicken, I was deal with efficiently and offered up some alternatives. Friendly staff, food well cooked.

No different from other Nando's, but as it's on the bank of the Thames, the views are really nice. Recommended for summer time where they offer roof too sitting. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the service was excellent. Only reason why I'm giving this four stars is due to the state of the Gents toilets. It was extremely filthy.

It is a plain Nando's but the staff are extremely friendly. However only one staff wore a mask and the rest talked to us over the foods. All tender chickens and good appetizers with very mild sauces. Not bad. Solid 3 stars.

Very relaxed place. Too relaxed. However, this is my favourite Nandos now and it's on the wrong side of the river. 🤮 Once i ordered using the QR code thingy- majig I received my cutlery pronto, followed by the food. The clientele always clinches these things for me. It was all families and friendly people and none of your wanna be 'Eastenders extra type' gangsters / gangstresses like Mile End, Beckton, Bethnal Green, Stratford etc etc etc. I suggest if you want Nandos go there, sightsee, eat and relax.

Bright and airy nandos with usual cheeky chicken quality. Went early evening and it was fairly quiet so service was good and lightning fast. Large branch with a lot of seating, but I imagine busy in weekends due to location! Has views over the Thames if that's your thing!

One of the best Nandos restaurants in central London. Lovely place to sit and eat. Nandos is situated just behind the Cutty Sark. Try to get a window seat if you can. I would love to know how we can sit and eat in the terrace upstairs, perhaps in the summer?. Usually this is busy on weekends but you will always find a place. Nice food, friendly staff, clean restaurant, quick service and value for money. Hats off to the manager and the staff. Cheers.

It's nandos, it's good Haha ok, let me add a little more specifics, it's nandos so of course the food is good, but more specific to Greenwich, great great staff, really friendly, we collected and it was precisely on time. We used our pepper rewards so got a whole chicken for free which is a truly exceptional deal. Good work nandos, good work, keep it up!

I've visited during the weekend, and they were so understaffed that the waiting time for a table was of about 1 hour. So we decided to go for a take out... the food was obviously lovely, but what I've really appreciated was how the staff handled such a stressful situation, the lady by the door was really nice in trying to explain the situation, and the guy by the till was awesome and quite funny. I'll definitely also because that terrace looks really nice with a great view!

The service is almost non existent! We were shown to a table and instructed to order through the app and only card payment could be accepted. We ordered as instructed and then waited and waited for our drinks. Eventually my husband stopped a waiter and asked and they were brought over. We then waited and waited for our food …. All in we waited about thirty minutes from the time that we arrived. The food was okay. Standard Nando quality. We couldn’t finish it all so asked for a take out box. We waited … and waited and eventually it was brought over. Ordering online has definitely removed any level of personal touch from the dining experience. I probably won’t do it again.

Really great Nando's. The best thing about it is the rooftop open air terrace where you can comfortably eat in the summer sunshine with an absolutely spectacular view of the River Thames.

Frozen yoghurt machine broke. But that can be excused because I had the absolute mosy delicious nandos meal I've ever had here. The butterfly chicken burger was succulent and had that charred taste, the fries were perfectly salted and the chilli jam wasn't too sweet. The garlic bread was full and hearty, and the frozen yoghurt was refreshing. Absolutely amazing meal. 5 stars. Well done nandos.

This Nando’s is in such a great location with the view of the Thames on one side of the restaurant and a view of the Cutty Sark on the other. In the warmer months there is a roof terrace too which is also has great views. The food is consistent and always perfect for that peri-peri fix!

Our first time at Nando’s and it was great. The food and especially the chicken was really good. When we placed our order the girl behind the register combined several dishes into a meal platter which saved us money which I though was really nice of her! Overall service was very good. Went in with a group of 14 friends and it was a lovely meal, great value for money. Really enjoyed the hot butterfly chicken it was great and took advantage of the refill on the soft drinks. Staff really nice and polite, very busy but service was sound, definitely return if in area.

Good food, good service. In terms of improvements, they should re-introduce the chicken livers ASAP. When I Iast visited they didn't have the Hot Nando's sauce, I would suggest making it avaiable. Nando's also increased prices quite a lot in the past years, making it ovepriced. Prices should be reduced.

For the Chicken lovers, Nando's food never disappoints. It does pretty much what is says on the tin, great grilled chicken with a good choice of sides and some international beverages to help wash it all down. The prices are OK depending on what you pick. This particular restaurant has a amazing roof terrace with great views to river Thames and the city (free blanket included). With that said, the terrace is shared with Pizza Express (I think) next door so places are limited plus you cannot order any extras from the terrace (so make up you mind before you go up). Overall, great place to impress a date on a nice warm evening.

Very well located, right next to a bus stop. There is loads of parking with step free access. The restaurant is very clean throughout, including all available facilities. Great place to bring all the family, with a cinema next door to complement your busy to the area. Prices are not to high and the quality of the food is very good. I'm not entirely sure why it's marked as Portuguese. It seems to have South African-recipe chicken. Food is fresh and delicious. Prices are inexpensive. There's a bit of a wait even on a rainy day. I would definitely recommend it for a casual dinner with family.

The food was exactly what I was expecting. Nando's is consistent at bringing you good chicken and sides. This restaurant would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff. It was just a couple of silly things. I got the wrong spice level on my chicken, but I wasn't going to have it wasted, I just used sauce to spice it up. We ate with my daughter who is 10 months old, and we weren't asked if we wanted a high chair. I found them in the corner of the restaurant and brought one over myself. Great location and wasn't busy when we visited.

I love Nandos! The one in Greenwich is especially nice as it sits by the water and has glorious views of London's skyline. The food is scrumptious; half a chicken-extra hot, sweet potato mash, olives and spicy rice. Their new dish - sweet potato, squash, spinach and feta is fresh and fanciful, however, the mash is so much better. The staff are super friendly and always smiling 😁 My only criticism is that it is always cold inside; wear a long sleeve or a jumper!

Who doesn’t enjoy a cheeky Nando’s? Perfect for a quick bite to eat and feels like a relatively healthy option. Outstanding location on the Thames. Sit on the roof terrace in the summer. Perfect. If you haven’t mastered the menu yet; olives with garlic cloves are excellent as a little starter. For the main event chicken (medium), chips with peri-peri salt and maybe some garlic bread. And make sure you try all of the sauces, is it just me or is the medium the hottest?

People arriving after us getting seated before us and served their food before us, even though our order was much simpler. Chicken and chips. Maybe they made mistakes on this occasion? The food is amazing as in all Nandos restaurants but the location of this one is superb! In summer try to be seated at the roof to get amazing views to Canary Wharf and the river. In winter try to get a table near the windows to enjoy the river views and relax watching the boats past.

Food wise: like any other Nando's. Service is slow though. If you seat on the roof terrace, stairs are steep. In sunny days not all tables have parasol, it can be a bit discomforting

Anyone that knows Nando's know they are a chain food restaurant that concentrate on chicken cooked with sauce that has varying degrees of spiceness. They do that very well. Most of the rest of the menu consists of accompaniments to the chicken. Chips, coleslaw and corn are all quite good but if you don't like chicken then Nando's isn't the place for you. This Nando's has the added advantage of views over the river Thames or views of the Greenwich Naval College, now Greenwich university. You won't be disappointed but neither will you be wowed. Greenwich has been almost entirely taken over by cheap chain restaurants. Nando's isn't the best but it certainly isn't the worst.

Typically Nando's which is usually great to be honest, it was an extremely rainy day. However, it isn't what my stars are based on. The roof was leaking from a light during the weather, near the two big tables at the back in booths to the left of them. EDIT: Added a star for getting a reply from Nando's themselves was previously 2 stars. SON OF EDIT: I have now revoked 2 stars and knocked this down as a rather poor experience as a whole to a 1 star. I get a reply from Nando's in this review 42 days approx after I initially posted this review and added a star as I have mentioned in 'EDIT'. I contacted Nando's via the email they suggested explaining the situation and get an instant 'usual' reply of "we will get back to you as soon as possible" Roll forward to 13th of December 2019 and I get an email back from Nando's 'seemingly' blaming me for using this service reviewing the first and only poor experience I have had ever eating at a Nando's. Telling me I had contacted the email far too late against my visit of Nando's and they were unable to help me much further other than some loyalty card add on or provide them with an address where they will send me out an offer. The offer would have been appreciated if I had felt like I wasn't being patronised toward and blamed for using a service I have every right to use! SON OF EDIT'S SON: Well, although this particular day wasn't as pleasant as usual Nando's days. Overall it turned back into an appreciation for Nando's. I know 'SON OF EDIT' had me all a bluster, I'm generally pleased with the way they had eventually made me happy to eat at their establishments. Roll on for my eldest daughter's birthday, where at some point we will frequent said establishment in Elephant and Castle.

Very tasty chicken, not dry at all. This location has an awesome view of the Thames from the second level facing north and another awesome view of the sail ship and charming Greenwich to the south. On the negative side, they don't open the entire level upstairs so you have limited options where to sit even if you're the only people up there. The peri peri sauces are a delicious kick to the chicken. Don't forget to bring your umbrella. By the way, it is NOT southwest American cuisine as someone stated in their review.

Located in one of the best places you could ask for. River view. Thames on oneside and the Cuttysark on the other. Parking could be a nightmare but there is underground parking nearby. Staff is very slap dash. If your a first time Nando user don't expect the staff to explain the concept of the restaurant. We were seated but not given menus so we got them ourselves. When the food arrived the chicken had so much hair on that in order to eat it I had to remove the skin. NOT IMPRESSED. Chips was ok and the corn on the cob was sub standard. Come on Nando's...reading other reviews the hairy chicken really needs to be rectified as customer complaints on this subject are common!!!

What can I say about Nandos...? It never fails to impress me. Being South African I want to say that the Nandos in SA are the best however I cannot fault any of the Nandos branches in the UK. Its amazing how they have kept their consistency throughout the world. I always end up over ordering as I want to have taste of everything; Thigh burger, fries, coleslaw and chicken livers are my favourite (must be HOT) - oh and the sweet potato fries are amazing too. Perfect any time meal... ha ha

If you manage to get a seat up on the roof, on a sunny London summer day, this is the holy grail of Nando's. Don't be put off by the door staff shaking their heads and quoting a 2 hour wait, or the fact there is usually a queue at the door; take a seat, wait for your name, and I guarantee it will be only a matter of 20 minutes or so before you're up, looking over the Thames in all it's glory, enjoying some of that peri-peri chicken goodness. It's an incredibly busy branch, as you'd expect from such a tourist-focused location, and as such can get fairly hectic. Even the downstairs seating is worth a visit; not too densely packed in, and still has great views over the river, if you get near enough to the windows. All in all, I'd recommend it for locals and visitors alike.

Ordered a takeway and whoever was dealing with my order must of put my takeaway bag on a wet surface. As I am walking back to work with £60 worth of food, all the food falls out the bag on to the floor 👎🏼 After already waiting nearly an hour for the food to be cooked I had to wait all over again. Of course accidents and these things happen, just very inconvenient and not a pleasant experience.

On the ground floor, this is your standard Nando's: the same food and the same queues at peak hours. Upstairs however, is a wholy different. First, if you request to be seated upstairs, you're going have to wait longer than usual. The number of tables on the roof is much less than that on the ground floor, so don't wait until you're hungry to visit if you have high ambitions. The roof space is shared with Zizzi's next door, infact, most of the roof is their seating: be careful were you park yourself lest you fall foul of their waiters. If you've finally made it to a coveted roof spot, you'll be treated to views down and breeze from the River and if it's Summer, the sunsets. I dare say you may even want to go back for that other half of the chicken.
