OCEAN BAR, I need to say as my first time experience it was a great one!!! I'm a connoisseur at Hong Kong Sweet n Sour, Vegetable Chow Mein and Chicken Satay. Usually, other take-aways brings it too overpowering RED, or noodles heavy in Soy sauce (yuk). The food from THIS restaurant was light, clean, and fresh tasting. It arrived quickly, with a friendly face at the door. I was only supposed to eat half and save the rest for lunch tomorrow, but I clapped it all up.. delicious, this is the restaurant I'll be ordering from only now. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING!! My second order (can't find out how to add another 5 star review)... was outstanding. I'm now ordering for Lunch this time and my 3rd time....from the restaurant, can't wait!! Don't delay, BUY from this restaurant! I'm a fussy eater and they are quick, clean and food TASTY!

Excellent food and sure to be a new favourite. Just finished my first meal from here and it was fantastic. We've waited so long for a good Chinese takeaway in this area and it has finally arrived. Thanks Ocean Bar. We'll definitely order again soon.

I must say, the food is brilliant - it's the only Chinese takeaway I would order from in Lewisham borough. Food packs a lot of flavour - the salt and pepper beef 🤤🤤 the squid!! 🤤🤤🤤. The customer service tops it all off - always kind and accomodating and If anything pops up, they will actually call. It's the go-to for your Friday night takeaway!

We are quite picky about our Chinese takeaways but we really enjoyed our food tonight. Really generous portion sizes and food is not too oily and salty. Seafood tastes fresh and the food is well seasoned. We will definitely be coming back!

I order from these guys on Deliveroo. And theyre hands down the best. Now dubbed as my chinese take away place. First time I got free prawn crackers free of charge. Then today I ordered them just because I wanted to say thank you in a way.. and got a can of coca cola free of charge. If I had a way of going to pick up, Id order straight from them. If thats a better way for them money wise? Not sure. But I love love love this place. My chinese take away 🥰

Have had delivery from here twice and it’s 100% my go to Chinese now- great addition locally. Everything tastes very fresh, and both times we were given a complementary dish with our order! My only comment is that the duck was a little on the dry side but may have just been a once off because everything else is so good, so still five stars

Try chicken katsu curry with rice & mongolian king prawn, that was so nice, my kids like it a lot, and xo fried rice was full of flavour, as a chinese, nomally I don't eat chinese take away , but this (ocean bar) totally recommended, yammy, fresh chinese food, totally worth to try!!!

We love Ocean Bar, it's a new great addition to our area. We nearly tried all of their menu, all dishes are tasty and carefully prepared. Customer service is beyond expectations, the owner is an exquisite person very passionate about his restaurant, kind and attentive. We never had to wait more than expected for a delivery or collection and we were never disappointed with our choice. We are now regular customers and can say Catford has now its best Chinese take away!

First time trying out this takeaway. Dumplings skin was too thick and the filing was floury. The steamed buns were ok, not the biggest fan of the chicken ball stuffed inside, I was expecting a looser mixture instead like in a char Sui bun. Got some complimentary prawn chips which was nice.

This is pretty much the first time I've made the effort to review somewhere but Ocean Bar deserve it. This is the Chinese takeaway I always wanted; a better quality spin on the standard Chinese menu with a few different chef specials to mix it up with. Good price without selling themselves short, the delivery driver was a lovely guy and was from the restaurant. The chef threw some extras in for us too. They seem genuinely proud of what they're doing there and I'm chuffed to have them in Catford. Keep doing what you're doing Ocean Bar! X
