Super impressed with my first experience of Oowee Vegan in Dalston this week. Restaurant was easy to find and wasn’t too busy at the time we ate (around 1.30ish). We were served by a really friendly and personable employee who recommended us some food to try (it was so hard to choose!), they were kind enough to ask the kitchen staff to cut our burgers in half so my friend and I could have 2 halves of different burgers each! We also opted to share some chicken fries which tasted soooo good! I would honestly say this is some of the best vegan fast food I have ever tried. The restaurant was very clean and lots of safety precautions were in place. I can’t wait to return!

Oowee Revooee Would have given 5 stars but music was a bit too loud for us at that time in early eve. Staff were charming, food was awesome, good portions. Delicious sauce, chicken burger batter was amazing. It is a little pricey BUT no plastic was used in packaging, and the food is worth it. The popcorn shake has to be tried, very well balanced flavours, thickness and refreshing, not heavy like a dairy shake. We'll be back.

We ordered a takeaway from here on a Friday night and the delivery was great, the standard 45 minutes with no issues. The menu is what you typically want from a junk food restaurant with some dishes that are mouth watering. Usually you go to a restaurant and they will have some weird dishes that you know you won't order or a fancy burger that you think "would anyone order this?", but with this place, the menu isn't massive; burgers (chikn or fake beef), dirty loaded fries with sides and shakes, and everything on the menu you will want to try and make you think you need to order there again soon because they all look so incredible. We ordered a mixture of all things as there were 5 of us, and naturally we tasted some of everything, and everything was so delicious! As a self proclaimed vegan junk food connoisseur, the Oovee burger was one of the best junk food burgers I've ever had. With a hash brown and bacon and shoving some side ordered onion rings in it... Man... Please please try this restaurant at your earliest opportunity and you will say the same to yourself.

Exciting to try a new vegan restaurant. It has been marketed quite heavily on social media. Ordered: 9.50£ The Big VG - not impressed at all (side note, it’s not big in size as the name says, it’s regular burger size) (-) the red cabbage was very soggy and actually was under my burger and not inside the burger as visible on the picture. It looks very poor, I wish they could add some more vegetables to it as it felt very basic (e.g. tomato) (+) the bun was very very soft almost melting in my mouth which is brilliant. It is common that vegan cheeses are not as great in taste but Oowee’s cheese is absolutely perfect for the burger. 5.50£ Garlic butter fries, regardless of big price, you actually get a massive portion of fries. I couldn’t really taste any garlic, we pretty much got a lot of fries with herbs on it. The fries itself were very good, not soggy not burnt. Interested approach to give fries in a shoe-box like cardboard, I am really happy to see recyclable packaging. In summary, fairly typical prices for London dining, burger-wise, the BEER & BURGER restaurant offers much better quality and taste burgers with red cabbage than Oowee, so I would not come back to Oowee for this specific The Big VG burger, probably would visit BREWDOG next time to try their competitive vegan burgers that are just across the street. Waiting time was below 10-15 minutes.

Great onion rings and a tasty burger. Only problem was I ordered a chicken burger. Everything is vegan, so it wasn’t a problem to eat. A lot of effort put into their business so I will definitely get to that chicken burger.

A friend introduced this place to us and it was a big hit. The food was amazing and different to the usual burgers your get at GBK etc. The menu has so many options yet very simple and not over loaded. We didn't have to wait for a table and food arrived within 15min of ordering. Lots of options for different burgers and waffle chips. Definitely a place to try.

Gave it a go after hearing so much on social media, had a really nice atmosphere but food was hit and miss. Big VG Burger - Solid burger, decent sized and good for price for under £8. Cluckin' Fries - Was really looking forward to this, but for almost a tenner you get a box of chips, cheese, gravy (apparently, can you see it?) and a cut up slab of seitan. Didn't feel very special, would've loved a lot more gravy and popcorn style chicken instead!

Honestly cannot understand the middling reviews here. This is an absolutely fantastic vegan burger. I am vegetarian restaurant. I bought this for myself and two meat eaters. Its delicious! We are all amazed by how good the beyond meat burgers taste. The sides are all delicious too. Oowee does a great job of making the traditional fast food takeaway vegan. The prices are actually very reasonable compared to other vegetarian burgers like honest burger( £13, also not vegan) Keep it up guys we loved it! We all agreed we would eat there again. Only thing I would suggest is to work a little on your heat insulation for your packaging. Cheers for a great meal!

Other restaurants need to take a leaf out of Oowee vegan’s book if they claim to serve “American-style (vegan) burgers”. I usually steer away from the meaty style veggie burgers but as an expat, this place is a real taste of home for me and in 21 years living in London, I have never had anything this close to an authentic US burger. Everything about it is done proper: the soft brioche bun (not stale like so many other places), the right mixture of mustard and ketchup with thinly sliced pickles, and the super gooey (vegan) cheese. Not to mention the fries that are cooked to absolute perfection.....AND it’s *always consistent* which is absolutely key. Another plus: the restaurant is in my neighbourhood so when I order on deliveroo (which is way too often), I have it within 20 mins. This place is a god-send when I’m feeling homesick!

I'm not exactly a serial reviewer but I felt compelled to in this case. I ordered a BBQ smokestack and a loaded fries one stressful day at work, and crikey - the size of it! hungry through I was, I had to save the burger for later, but I was glad I did because when food is this delicious why not make it last? It was the first thing on my mind the last time I was hungover, but the Cesar salad & the loaded fries really took me out of the danger zone. Incredibly filling and tasty. Really generous portions of indulgent, delicious, cruelty-free fast-food. Top marks.
