Reviews of OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie

So! Kicking this review off with the ambience. A
Very very formal, and smart restaurant. Everyone is dressed to impress. Even the staff. If you are not used to it. You may feel a little uncomfortable.
The decor is beautiful. Really does set the mood. Lovely views. Everything was pleasing to the eye.
Staff were polite and knowledgeable...
The food was decent. By decent i mean. Good on the pallet. Balanced and nicely cooked. Though the price is not justified. They charge as if it was Michelin star. The food was really nice!. But not excellent.
2 cocktails 2 starters 2 mains £178
There was not much to the main either.
I don't like to leave reviews like this. But i think I may be paying these prices due to the location of the restaurant.
I have had food in several other restaurants as good or better for far cheaper.

Service & food = very good value for money! Their £40 3 course set menu with a cocktail included (a lovely take on a Moscow mule) exceeded our expectations - having assumed this restaurant would be an offensive tourist trap (more on the ambience later).
Started with sea bream (a very well portioned starter), my partner had the pork which he said was brilliantly cooked, we both had the duck (breast & leg) as a main (cooked very, very nicely!) with lovely buttery mashed potatoes, & ended with both desserts of rhubarb & banana (I preferred the banana with sorbet). Also had a side of chips with truffle mayo (they even brought out extra yummy mayo), & bread (served warm :).
Honestly, can't fault this restaurant - the service was better than some 1 stars in London we've been to!
Only downside is: the place looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90s, the lights are as bright as dining in a bingo hall, the crowd is very Bridge & Tunnel, & the lovely balcony reminds me of crazy golf. If they kept the food & same staff, & decorated this restaurant better - it'd be an all around fab spot.

It was particularly busy on the night we dined here so it was a little difficult to get the attention of the staff but when we could get their attention service was very quick and efficient!
The food was nice but maybe my expectations were too high, it wasn't so good that I would want to go back as soon as possible but definitely worth another visit. The view is nice and there was a live band playing some nice music to have a conversation to.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Oxo Tower brasserie. The staff were lovely - very friendly and attentive. The brasserie had a nice atmosphere about it, with marvellous views out across London. It was a Saturday lunchtime and the place was very popular and fully booked. The kitchens are open so you can see the chefs at work - we had a table for two near the kitchen. The food and drink was of a very high standard and beautifully presented. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed for over 3 hours :) Very highly recommended.

There were four of us dining in the main restaurant. It was my first visit here and I have to say it was spectacular. Probably one of the best restaurant views in London with a huge panoramic across the Thames to St Paul’s. The food was amazing and the service was spot on. Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full. There is also a bar and bistro with the same views and outside seating. Highly recommended.

Had four cocktails sat outside on the balcony only two other tables taken. Nice view but you can't see much sitting down a stall table would be better especially if only having drinks. Cocktails were tasty and quite strong very well made. Table abs chairs not comfy mind and for the location and prices should be of better quality. Some complimentary nibbles would have been nice, especially on the second round of cocktails and the prices! Manager was attentive and welcoming.

Enjoyed a dinner here with colleagues recently. The atmosphere is busy, but not overly loud, and the tables while close are not claustrophobic inducingly close. Covid measures are well signed and there is plenty of hand gel available.
The food was excellent and the service outstanding, the wait staff are there when you need them, but not hanging over your shoulder forcing you out the door trying to turn over the table. All in a great dining experience for a corporate night out.

Beautiful setting overlooking the London skyline. Incredibly placed and delicious dining experience. Topped off with incredible service. This is a great treat for that someone special. Close to the South Bank, so ideal before a show. Easily accessible by walking from major local stations.

The view was better than expected. The staff was nice and friendly and the food was really good. Had the mushroom soup (perfect), the duck (juicy) and the chocolate tart and raspberry for dessert (delicious).
All in all, a really good experience! I'll definitely visit this place again if I return to London

. It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Good food and service. Staff are well knowledgeable and make good recommendations.

Still one of my favourite restaurants. The quality is beyond reproach and I love sitting on the balcony with a nice dinner watching the world go by. Menu is very good, with a great selection. Would certainly recommend both for lunch and dinner.
P. B.
Absolutely impeccable customer service. Didn’t catch his name but he’s worked there a long time, was wearing a suit and some snazzy trainers. Waiter was absolutely attentive to our every need. The ambiance was perfect, the food was high quality, and displayed beautifully. Our table was cleaned regularly during meals, and the champagne was lovely. I would highly recommend sitting outside if it’s a warm day, the views are fantastic. We had live music too. Honestly I’ll definitely be going back. A wonderful way to celebrate our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Thank you Oxo brasserie. We even had a lovely celebratory message on our dessert! Everyone should go here !
S. W.
What an amazing time we had celebrating so many things at the Oxo Brasserie on Friday. Mum's 80th birthday, my 50th, our sons 18th and hubby and I's 20th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint at all.
Amazing views, the perfect table by the window, attentive, supportive and patient staff, deeelicious food, amazing cocktails, and we were made to feel very special. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Totally recommend.
O. M.
I booked a table at OXO tower restaurant for me and my girlfriend to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. The prices are on the steeper side but nothing to complain about and completely reasonable for a special event like this, the staff were incredibly patient but focused, kind and professional.
We ordered starters mains and desserts, each was served with perfect spacing of time between one another and we were never left wondering where the food was.
I ordered the fillet steak with truffle gnocchi, it was by far the tastiest pasta I have ever eaten And the steak was also cooked to perfection.
I let the staff know about our occasion and they kindly sat us near the window with an amazing view looking out to the city over the Thames.
I would highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone considering it.

Treated to a 60th birthday meal at the OXO restaurant on the 8th floor. Tip top service and excellent faultless meal.
Not cheap but with food tasting as good as this it's a thumbs up from me. Definitely need to book here.
M. R.
I booked a bar table at the Oxo tower bar for my boyfriend’s birthday and the experience was great! From my phone call to ask questions beforehand to the service on the night, everyone was friendly and helpful. I did ask for a table outside with they could not guarantee and when we arrived they seated us inside but assured me they would move us as soon as possible. Before our first cocktails arrived, a table became free and we moved outside to an amazing view on a lovely evening. We absolutely loved the cocktails too! Thank you for such a special evening.

I’d visited the Oxo Tower restaurant the week before with my two tween daughters and they loved it so much they begged me to go back. I tried to book a table for lunch but couldn’t get a reservation, so booked the Brasserie in the cab en route.
We were seated on the terrace on a gorgeous sunny day. The view is wonderful! The hostess who seated us asked if we had any allergies and I explained that I’m not allergic but cannot stand coriander! Sadly my appetizer was heavy on the coriander. I managed to pick a lot of it out, however just one little bit spoils a dish for me …. It’s all I can taste! It’s a shame it wasn’t mentioned on the menu either.
My daughters asked if they could have the truffle Mac and cheese they’d had in the restaurant the week before and we were told that they are separate kitchens. The waiter did go to ask and they did oblige.
There were lots of happy special occasions happening around us and it’s the perfect place for it.
The waiter was friendly and efficient. We were off to watch Hairspray for the afternoon and he delivered our bill promptly when asked.
The price is good for the experience and I would highly recommend it!

Excellent food and a beautiful view, the service was great and the jazzy atmosphere was perfect. We had the chicken and the lamb and both were delicious. I'd highly recommend this restaurant and I would advise to book in advance!

TOP CLASS. Definately a place I owouldnt normally go to but, A very special occasion brought me here & it didn't disappoint. The extensive wine list shows what kind of restaurant this is. The food and service was the best I've ever had!
P. B.
Wonderful food with beautiful night time views out over London. We went for an early Christmas meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent 3 course menu, lovely wine and the food was beautifully presented
M. T.
A perfect celebratory meal was had overlooking the river. The food was delicious, though we were envious of the Chateaubriand as it was wheeled past on a trolley and so will need to go back again. Lovely touch was a personalised birthday cake at the end (pictured below).
P. S.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday with an afternoon tea here. Thank you to the chef's. The food was delicious and I had arranged for a special dessert tray to be brought out as part of the birthday celebrations. Thank you to our initial waitress Florina. She provided exceptional customer service. She was attentive and took initiative to be an excellent host.
Our whole experience here was fantastic except for the second waiter who took over from Florina. He brought out the desserts and the birthday tray at the same time. There was no space on the table as he had not cleared the table beforehand and I was still eating my scone. He ruined the moment of the surprise birthday tray as it was really cramped on the table and we had to hold our plates in order to make space and take nice photos of the birthday tray. We still had an hour to go before our allocated time was up so I was not sure why he rushed the experience. He should have waited until we had finished our desserts, cleared the table and then brought out the birthday tray. At such an establishment I would have expected better service.
Overall a lovely experience but marred celebration by rushed customer service.
L. S.
The staff were nice and friendly, the atmosphere was okay and the view was nice. Our desserts and drinks were less than average. We had the blondie for dessert which wasn’t fresh.
G. I.
My favourite London restaurant. I love to frequent the brasserie as it always feels more relaxed
But the food and the service are always excellent. You need to book, but it's always worth while making the effort to do so
m. s.
Had 4 cocktails sat out of doors on the balcony best one-of-a-kind tables taken. Nice view however you cannot see masses sitting down a stall desk might be better in particular if most effective having drinks. Cocktails have been tasty and quite robust very well made. Table abs chairs no longer cozy mind and for the vicinity and costs ought to be of higher first-rate. Some complimentary nibbles could have been superb, specially on the second one round of cocktails and the charges! Manager changed into attentive and inviting.
C. T.
The brasserie is a fun restaurant with a great view of the river and City. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The sizes of the meal were good and the quality was good. The cocktails were good. The value was good. I would recommend coming during the spring or summer when the outdoor terrace is open.
R. A.
The brasserie: The staff, the views and the live music during Sunday lunch time service get this it's 4th star. The steak and lamb were disappointing for their price bracket. Well presented but a little too fatty / chewy.
The kids lunch potions were good though. They accommodated us in bringing our own cake which was good for a birthday and really appreciated.
L. C.
Food was really good! Beautiful presentation! Great service. Nice view. It can get really hot up there when the sun is fully out. If you want to avoid the sun, come before 3pm because there is no shade at all.
F. A.
Fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic management. We celebrated my best friend’s birthday day there. On arrival we told them that we were not happy with the table and would like to have one with a view. The manager kindly offered a better a table right away with a complimentary oysters which were to die for. We will definitely go again.
S. S.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Only get a 2 hour slot at the table but we were lucky to stay a longer as we were a large group!
M. H.
Very good experience at OXO! Went there for a friend’s birthday, great meal, amazing view despite the rainy weather in London and super good service:) thank you for the awesome food!
J. L.
Had a lot of meals in rooftops. This one beats them all hands down on food quality. Even better than all the restaurants at the Shard. Highly recommended.
R. A.
OXO is always a lovely experience. The summer brunch was ok - as the cocktails were not that great. My best advice - go a la carte and order a fresh cocktail you will not be disappointed. After you are done with dinner head to the viewing gallery and dream about your future :)
R. E.
I came here today for a family celebration to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Currently all seating is outside on the terrace over looking the River Thames. The food was very tasty, the staff were friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to go to this famous restaurant then I would recommend it
M. W.
Stunning views Great food 🥘 but I did not like the added service charge. I prefer to leave my own tip value with I did add too.
S. M.
I had lunch with my family at the OXO tower restaurant for my sisters birthday celebration. There were 6 of us of all ages. We all raved about the delicious top notch food, magnificent views, and especially the superb service. I want to commend Dimitrij and Paulo who were professional, patient, attentive and friendly. The girls that greeted us when we arrived were also lovely. It is an occasion we will never forget. I definitely recommend it as a must go to make new memories. Thank you to all the staff.
L. C.
One of the best reasturant I've tried in London. Excellent food and impeccable service by the friendly and professional staff, I've been there to celebrate my forty's with two friends and has been a great experience. From the terrace the view of St.Paul Cathedral and City of London is spectacular. Great selection of wine and spirits too. On the top of the list of my favourite London restaurants.
K. E.
The Vegan and Vegetarian are amazing! The waitress / waiters are so attentive and so happy to see you. They even made a special effort for my friends birthday. Will definitely be returning.
I. N.
"I'm here for the view". Food is quite good too, but the view...
Service is a bit rushed, since they are trying to fit in ad many people as they can.
Had the scallops for a starters and they were incredible. Beef fillet for main, though I found the Gnocchis a bit off.
Had the chocolate platter for a dessert which was nice too. Wine menu is scattered and makes it hard to find your way around it.
O. M.
Dinner for two. Nice view over the Thames River, ambience and very attentive, smiley, not pushy staff. Had the chateaubriand, which was OK, but the truffle smashed potatoes was great, as was the pheasant pie (French name I don't remember). It is expensive, but somehow expected for the location and exclusivity. This is not a fast food!
K. W.
Lovely food. Amazing service. Wonderful views. A lovely time.
J. S.
Fantastic, the reservations team were more than helpful when booking (recommended) the food was exceptional, the views were stunning and the service was what you would expect from such an establishment, wine glasses were topped up immediately and everyone was so helpful and friendly, I'd recommend this place to anyone!
s. c.
Lovely atmosphere, great views, super food and excellent wine list, completed with excellent efficient service...my wine was always topped up and yet it was never intrusive! Loved it and would certainly recommend it
M. O.
Great helpful staff and fantastic food 👌 and got to say the most friendliest person I have met in a restaurant for a long time was marius
S. M.
I recently visited Oxo Tower to sample the Winter Menu. I am a strict vegetarian and i would like to say the food was delicious. The service was amazing and I look forward in visiting again,. The drinks were so yummy. The staff were incredible and so courteous and helpful. I had an amazing meal and enjoyed my visit to the Restaurant.
S.
Food is lovely, I can say delicious. Terrace which works now has problems with heating, so put warm cloth). Staff is nice and helpful. Brilliant view on St. Paul’s cathedral and Thames.
R. V.
Great location, nice views, good service overall. We expected more from the menu though - it was ok, but not great.
J. C.
What a lovely afternoon out. Welcoming staff who found us all seats to have a drink as we arrived early for our celebratory afternoon tea. A large choice of teas for every palette. Lovely food. A wide selection of sandwiches, savoury bites, wonderfully light scones that were still warm and sweet treats. A glass of champagne cost an extra £10 over the £35. Attentive staff and a lovely view of London. Worth a visit.
g. j.
We went there last night and had a lovely time. Our waiter was Marco, he was so lovely and friendly. He advised us about the food and wine and was attentive throughout. The atmosphere was loud and vibrant. Don't go to the Brasserie if you want a quiet intimate meal for two. The Brasserie is on the 8th floor with great views across the river. The food was excellent, tasty and good portion sizes. Would definitely go again.
T. K.
Food is very very good
Very Nice place beautiful view
Helpful professional friendly staff
P. T.
AMAZING PLACE, really nice food, good staff, amazing views and good atmosphere, I ordered the summer menu for my birthday. My score is 4 and no 5 cause the dessert was not nice.
O. J.
Very good service from young waiter. Very nice cocktails.
Little disappointed with the peach dessert but that was partly because they couldn’t add the amaretti due to nut allergy. Still the waiter agreed it was somewhat underwhelming 😂
Other than that, it is a cool place with a nice view and obviously better if you can sit outside; but we couldn’t due to weather.
R. P.
Fabulous setting overlooking St Paul's and the Thames. Food was excellent, as was the service. We were there for a special occasion, so didn't mind the prices, but they are very definitely "London" prices.
Enjoyed the experience, immensely.
E. C.
Absolutely no complaints, had an amazing time here. the food was some of the greatest I've had in London and although the dish may seem small in the picture it was very filling and the people I went with say the same about their meals, we all went home fully satisfied. the cocktails too were excellent and perfectly concocted. This place is not casual so it's no surprise its pricey, but not overpriced compared to similar restaurants offering this kind of experience. (dish In photo is lobster risotto with stuffed cabbage and deep fried enoki mushrooms)
A. B.
You expect a lot and the food, service and views are exceptional.
I agree that in cocktail bars of this level you'd expect a little nibble with the drink.
When you order a dessert that only mentions it contains chocolate and it's full of nuts, even if you're not allergic to them, you might not like them.
I mentioned this when my full plate was removed and was pretty much ignored. Not great when you're spending over £500 on lunch for 4.
A. M.
Beautiful view, excellent service and the food was outstanding! Would highly recommend! There was also live piano and a singer that gave the place that extra atmosphere. Loved everything!
G. G.
Excellent dining experience at the OXO Restaurant.
Myself and my wife came here whilst visiting London and chose this restaurant based on the excellent reviews. It certainly lived up to these reviews when we visited on a Saturday night.
We both chose the dry aged beef fillet and we were both thought the staff had forgotten our steak knives because we only had a normal table knife. The steak was that succulent, a normal knife was all that was needed. They were very well cooked (medium) and the meal was excellent.
The drinks menu is plentiful with the choice of wines, beer, cocktails and champagne.
The service was excellent and nothing is too much bother, the staff cater to your every need.
I will definatley come back and I highly recommend. The price reflects the service, atmosphere, views of London and fantastic tasting food here at the OXO restaurant.
N.
Incredible tasting menu with fantastic views. Really friendly and attentive staff who explain everything to you.
S. T.
Amazing views!! Staff were great with plenty of attention and always felt safe. Food was good but not as stand out as the views. But rest assured the overall package of venue + service + good food is worth the effort.
H. S. S.
The views alone are worth the visit. We booked in advance and asked for a table near a window in advance. The staff were friendly and courteous and helpful in selecting from great choices on the menu. The steak was flavorful, and the wine, along with cocktail options were refreshing.
F. L.
Went there for my birthday and I could not choose better place where to celebrate with my parents! Highly recommended ! Stunning view, The food is delicious and the service is amazing! Staff is Very attentive and polite!
C. H.
The decor of this restaurant is beautiful (if a little austere) and the view is spectacular. The staff might try smiling. It's hard to choose from the menu as it all sounds wonderful and for the most part the dishes served up were good. One of the vegetarian options - artichoke and aubergine - was bland, undersesoned. I had scallops for my starter (2 only), this plate was delicious. For my main I had duck which consisted of a piece of roasted breast - tasty but a bit tough and a kind of croquet of confit of duck - the star of the show. Don't bother with the cheese plate. Desserts are are very good. Wine is expensive.
D. C.
Enjoyed a birthday celebration meal with my family. The view over the Thames is lovely and the service attentive. I really enjoyed the Pulled Pork starter followed by Venison then cheese complimented by a very pleasant Malbec. Not cheap but decent value for money.
W. W.
Fantastic food and service as always. This is a restaurant where I would bring any friends who visit London, it’s right in the centre and offer an amazing view.
In this occasion, I was treated here by my friend. Everything from the starter (pork belly), mains (sea bream) to dessert (posset) was an absolute delight. I just wish I can come to restaurants like this everyday.
B. S.
Stunning views, great wine list, very helpful waiters and waitresses, pork belly delicious… chateaubriand was sadly lacked a little taste. Overall highly recommended. Make sure you ask for a riverside view table
R. W.
Highly recommended!
Incredible atmosphere, friendly staff and astounding food.
A. M.
Excellent food and views make the OXO Tower Restaurant well worth a visit. The courteous and friendly staff make this place stand out. We chose the OXO to celebrate an anniversary and were not disappointed. Nice wine selection and obviously knowlegable sommelier.
J. S.
Came here (for the first time) for wedding anniversary last week, and was absolutely delighted. Hope to be back again soon
Venue, staff, location and of course the food itself could not have been better.
Thank you for a great evening.
S. A.
My daughter and her husband rave about OXO Tower restaurant, and bought my wife and I a dinner voucher. We went tonight 16 March 2022, and loved it.
Great views, great Chateaubriand, and friendly service.
Just a bit difficult to find - our Uber driver struggled to find it. We had to find our way up a passageway, then find a lift, then up to the 8th floor. But worth the hunt!
A. O. L.
Went there with a couple of friends during the "Eat Out to Help Out" scheme. Lovely receptionists and the waiting staff. They sat us inside, but after 10 minutes they told us that the terrace was available and if we wanted to change, which was very kind of them (amazing views, of course; unlucky us that even though it was sunny, it was windy).
I had courses from the Summer Dining Menu: the cocktail was the Peach and orange blossom, essence of jasmine; as a starter I had the Josper roasted home cured duck breast and rillette, watercress salad; the main was the Josper grilled lemon thyme marinated chicken, roasted asparagus and king oyster mushroom, black garlic jus (let me say that the mushroom and black garlic jus was AMAZING!!) and finally the Vegan cheesecake, blueberry and apricots. On our arrival we mentioned that we were celebrating a couple of birthdays, and very kindly they brought us 2 of the desserts with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY written with chocolate and a candle.
Despite all of these, here comes the other side of the dinner:
I would actually give 2'5 stars, because even though the waiting staff and managers were being attentive and asking if the food was alright, each course took 1 HOUR to arrive...and we had a maximum of 3 courses! Not kidding, we waited 1 hour for the starter and 1 hour after this one for the main... when they brought the main we told them to bring dessert as well, if we had to wait for another hour... which we had to wait about 40 minutes... Yes, the restaurant was completely full (not sure about the social distancing), but still we wouldn't say it was normal those waiting times.
At the time of paying the bill, they were very much confused on how to do the discount. One of the party didn't have the set, so she didn't have the schemes' discount and yet, we don't know how, she ended up paying twice the service charge!!! And of course, with all the waiting time, we weren't that happy with the service...
Regarding social distancing and COVID protection, well... there were a few hand sanitizers to be used, but members of staff weren't wearing face coverings and at the time of paying, 5 different people touched the card machine and it wasn't been cleaned.
Z. K.
We went for dinner. It was awesome. We had scallops for a starter and wild sea bass as our entrees. Service was nice, food was great. They had live music for a moment and the band was very talented. They played nice music and the young lady had quite a lovely voice. It was very cold and raining so the patio area was closed but I would definitely like to go back when the weather is more pleasant and sit out on the patio overlooking the water!
M. R.
50th Birthday celebration. I booked this as a surprise for my wife as the menu looked incredible and it did not disappoint. We were warmly received and everyone wished her happy birthday, the table was perfectly placed with views across the Thames. We both went for the scallops, amazing, super tasty and perfectly cooked!! Followed by the beef fillet for me and duck for my better half, so tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. Throughout the meal the service was on point, our waitress was very knowledgeable and made our meal super special (and the cocktails are delicious too), thoroughly recommend to all, you will not be disappointed, looking forward to returning soon with the kids!!
M. B. T.
A really special dining experience. The food is excellent, but the highlight has to be the incredible view. If going for dinner, it's worth booking for sunset even if it makes for an early dinner because the light on London's skyscrapers and St Paul's makes for a stunning scene for your dinner.
S. B.
Lovely pre Xmas catch up with friends. Excellent service. Good food, just a couple of things that knock this off a five star.
Roast potatoes that are not roasted, nice but not as described. And a door to the cleaning cupboard left unlocked in one of the toilet stalls, given the products on display probably not in line with H&S.
R. H.
We was surprised from the good service still on the welcome reception!
Our waiter and junior waiter were on the table as soon as some look at them or the glass of wine needed top up. Soon as the first dish from our 4 meal course arrived I was sure the food will be amazing and yes the lam
starter was absolutely perfect cooked following from cod dish that was festive for the mouth with the delicious chestnut mushrooms.
We will back again. Thank you.
D. B.
Great food, staff could not do enough for us. We attending with a huge party and staff were e trenslg accommodating and helpful. As vegetarians/vegans there was a huge selection.
I. K.
Preference for casual dictated favour of the Brasserie as oppose the restaurant. Did Not regret especially as table by the window turned out to be a big hit. The food was excellent. the river views of London and St Pauls were immaculate. The live jazz was an added bonus. Overall very satisfied.
As the accompaniments charged and not part of the main and not indicated as such on the menu. Pity - missed that last star!
R. C.
This is my second time at the OXO restaurant and in both occasions the experience was superb. Flawless service by an experienced staff that knows how to make you feel good and delicious food. Well balanced flavours in beautiful presentations. I had the new lobster and the risotto was delicious, while my wife had the turbot. I definitely recommend.
I hope to be back soon.
S. H.
Fantastic food and really excellent service, all topped off with views over London. Very helpful polite staff, from getting in the lift to leaving, a great experience.
M. B.
Very nice lunch, varied menu which accommodated both vegans and meat eaters. The choice for vegan was limited (one type of starter, one main, one dessert) but nevertheless very tasty.
Would recommend

I have eaten here before as took my brother for his 50th birthday. We returned this time for his anniversary of being married for thirty five years.
I love the tower as have many memories from there, so always enjoy a visit. I didn't have a booking but managed to get a table for four. Good wine selection and fabulous food.
Staff very attentive, polite and professional. I suppose when you choose a place like this it is also about the experience as well as the food, this is what you pay for, eating in an iconic building by the Thames in central London adds to the experience.

A regular haunt. All three venues, on the same floor, are terrific. The bar for cocktails and light snacks, the Brasserie, and the Restaurant for a blow out, expensive but worth it. Lovely views, superb staff. It's smart, understated, but please do dress up a bit.
C. S.
We came here for an afternoon tea. The service was very good and the afternoon tea was good (some of the flavours of sandwiches were a bit different). We were the only ones on the whole restaurant and we could hear that the other side of the restaurant (there are two separate parts) seemed to have people in it. There was no music and it was painfully quiet. I know this is not the fault of the venue but it would have been nice to be offered to move where there was more atmosphere as we did not stay very long because of this.
M. S.
Beautiful views, nice service, food and drinks ok, live music

Second visit to the Oxo Tower only I can't remember howlong ago it was since we ate in the Brasserie threatening to return. We were impressed then and equally this time pre-ordering the taster menu with the flights of wine. from walking in warmly welcomed...a glass of champagne to sip to take in the scenery. The star ... But difficult to chose was Max the sommelier explained all the different wines got to say all good but were duly impressed with the 10 year tawny to be told they had run out of 10 year so we had to suffer 20 year old tawny instead. The restaurant was busy and comfortable without being to loud. Goes without saying the food delicious and nothing went back to the kitchen, our waiter sorry I can't remember his name but he was from Lisbon and returning home that weekend, he explained all our dishes and was attentive without overpowering. Must go back soon .... lovely way to start the weekend on a Friday afternoon.

Loved it. The OXO Tower Restaurant is one of those iconic places that should be on may people's bucket list. In addition to the historic setting, the views are fabulous - far better than the Shard or other places where you are a gazillion floors up. Views from those places is like looking at a toy set. Four floors up and everything is still real.
And the place has three sections - the formal or more classical restaurant, the bar, and the informal Brasserie. If you are selective in when you can visit, its usually possible to get a table with a great view.
My favorite is the Brasserie. Excellent classic British fare but the chefs invariably tweak them to make it unique and interesting. Most of the time it is a stunning success, with an occasional disappointment - but it's fun. The Brasserie often has live musical entertainment, and the prices are really a good value for what you get and in comparison to it's peers. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful, and the manager keeps a close eye on everything that goes on. Definitely getting the benefits associated with the more classical restaurant on the other end of the floor which adds further to the value of the dining experience.
Coupled with the fact that it's easy to get to by public or private transport its a definite bucket list must visit place. Highly Recommended.

My friends reserved a table for my birthday and we had a very good seat overlooking the London eye and BT tower. The view was beautiful and the food was good - I recommend the steak with chips which was very crispy. For the starter I recommend the chicken croquet.

Almost perfect. Fancy and sophisticated. We have been welcomed nicely and with great professional attitude. The menu is conceived with open mind attitude between tradition and fantasy, and the dishes are satisfying and great looking. The meat was delicious, all the food was great and the price was worth it. Only critical point was the service, little bit too slow, but the restaurant was full and busy as well. It’s worth the experience. We will come again.

Visited this beautiful restaurant this evening for my birthday, how beautiful is this place. Service was outstanding from start to finish. The food wow!!! If I could give this place a 10star I definitely would, because they deserve it
J. M.
Slight confusion in how to enter the building as not much signage up stating where the restaurant was. The customer service in there is really what makes the whole experience as well as the divine view, especially at sunset. Very clean inside with frequent deep cleaning of the toilets which makes you feel at ease. The food was very tasty, especially the Duck Breast. Not overpriced.

I’m Sean from the west coast of Ireland, I recently booked this iconic restaurant for my daughter and her boyfriend, it was their first visit to London. I called the restaurant from my office in ireland told them I wanted to pre book a table for my daughter Kelly & Niall, I paid X amount over the phone. They both had an absolutely brilliant night the food was fabulous and they were treated like royalty. The money I prepaid for them wasn’t all spent, so with in a couple of days the money was back in my bank account. I can’t remember ever being treated so well, guys thank you for everything and I’ll be back in person with my wife. Very kindest regards Sean from Co Mayo Ireland 🇮🇪

Fabulous food took advantage of the new £10 scheme, it was busy but didn't feel we was all on top of each other, the view from the balcony is amazing London is a beauty city, highly recommend and will definitely return, loved the summer time lunch menu such a bargain
J. S.
A delicious meal and lovely sit outside on the terrace before hand (we visited during the end of summer, so was warm enough). The food was excellent and had a good night. Though the lights could've been turned down as they were very bright which hampered the sunset atmosphere.
L. M.
Had a delicious lunch here. Great place to come with friends/family/special occasion. Two courses & drinks cost approx £50 so good value for quality food.
Waiting staff were friendly, helpful & informative. The views were spectacular.
S. M.
The views, food, and service were all spectacular. We had a very enjoyable business lunch here. I had the polenta for lunch and it was very good, surprisingly filling. Tried the truffle mac & cheese for a starter. It was gooey goodness! Everyone said their food was delicious too.
G. R.
♿️✅Accessible lift to either the brasserie/bar to your right and the restaurant to your left. They do provide nice wide walkways to both venues and good seating options as well.
The staff are amazing along with the absolutely stunning food and cocktails not to mention the view! Came here for the afternoon tea with champagne, it was amazing! The food was just incredible, so many different sorts of tasters. It may look small but I couldn't finish it all and was able to take some home in a carry bag!
H. P.
Had dinner here at 6pm, a great time to arrive as we got to watch the sunset with a superb view of the city. Food was delicious, we each ordered a different dish for each course. Service was impeccable all staff gave their all at great service.
E. P.
Great meal, great service, great view, really worth it and would certainly go back. The perfect place to bring someone new to London and give them a wonderful selection of British dishes to choose from. Everything we ordered was great, and delivered with a smile!
O. O.
The terrace seating is A1. The burners on the roof keep everyone warm; seating is well spaced out; and all staff are masked in and outdoors. Not to mention the food is divine and the service was stellar, with staff on hand to top up drinks and give recommendations where necessary
G. L.
After having missed out on my 80th birthday lunch at the OXO restaurant on 22nd November 2020 due to lockdown I was thrilled to be able to be surrounded by my close family on Monday 22nd November this year. The manager had prepared a table for eight and we were delighted with the attention to our three grandchildren aged 6, 7 and 8 as well as to us adults. All staff, starting with reception, the sommelier and waiters were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We never felt rushed and the food certainly met our expectations. The vegan food some of us ordered was and looked great on the plate and was really tasty. Our compliments to the chef and his team!
We did have a very special request for the vegan birthday cake my son had baked specially and brought from Brighton to be served together with sorbet at our table. I am enormously grateful that the manager, as well as the chef, had no objection and thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. All good wishes from the 8 Lawrences, we are looking forward to our next visit! Trudi

Wow... From the beginning to the end. A surprise Birthday treat from my husband. We had a not afternoon tea ~theatre experience. Amazing deserts and accompying cocktails. The staff were very attentive and I loved the feel of the place. They made me feel very special.
M. T.
Known the famous place for years but that was my first time there. Nice & trendy bar, superb view, good lunch menu. Food was exceptionally good, staff are friendly & efficient. A second visit to follow soon.
a. T.
Fabulous restaurant with great food, champagne, wine and cocktails. On the river Thames with lovely views. Sitting outside on the terrace in the bar lounge to wait was really pleasant with very good service and staff
T. N.
With one of the best views overlooking the Southbank of the Thames, this is a great spot for early drinks or for dinner reservations.
The bar serves extensive cocktails and beers and we were served by a friendly waiter, who had some knowledge of the different wines on offer.
We had originally planned to eat at the restaurant but there was availability at the Brasserie which had some decent music playing and we were swayed into there. The food was delicious and the service was quick. Not the cheapest place, but excellent value for money if you consider the ambience and view.
R.
Fantastic cocktails and dinner. Lovely staff & great view of London. If you go on a week night and book through bookatable you get a great offer of 3 courses and a glass of Prosecco for £33!
Service is fantastic.
H. D.
Very posh restaurant with an amazing view, you have to have reservation to get there. It is very busy, so you can’t hear anything. The waiters reacted very fast and gave us menu. Orders went very nicely. We didn’t need to wait for any meal. It is quite expensive to eat there, but if you love food it is worth to go there, the meals were magnificent. Not only I paid for delicious food but also for wonderful view to London.
C. H.
We dined as 8 for a weekday lunch. The venue was spotless, well managed and excellent staff who waited very well indeed. The restaurant is open-plan, with enough room to not feel squashed. Thames-side, is a glass wall with further tables outside on an al fresco terrace. Beautiful views and shade if required. The menu was a la carte; I went for a salmon to start, lamb rump as mains, and lemon cheesecake. Waiting time was reasonable (albeit not very busy at the time) Presentation was good and the flavours were very good indeed. All in, the meal was delicious. I will say that yes, it's rather overpriced. You are paying for the name, and the view. But, if you want something different, and away from the bustle of the city, it's an excellent choice.
M. H.
A nice place for dinner with a view.
There’s no denying that the OXO Tower is an iconic place to eat. The setting is gorgeous and the views of London are lovely. Would have to say, for the price the food is only okay... overly described for gastropub-level food. Got the lamb and that was a little tough.
Staff were friendly but almost trying a little too hard. They also need to understand the first four times you say you don’t want dessert, tea or coffee that you mean it (!!) The wine selection was wonderful, though it would be nice if you didn’t HAVE to wait for the sommelier to order.
Overall, not terrible but for where they’re pitching themselves the attention to detail could be better.
e. d.
Great service but even better food with great views / atmosphere. Location is amazing and could not recommended it more. The moment you enter you will be greeted by friendly reception, who will then take you to your seats. As usual drinls will be served first, then your complimentary bread (there will be a selection). Your food will be served in no time as well with decent portion sizes.
C. F.
Upmarket Restuarnt with great reviews. Staff friendly and service was faultless. The portions were filling and about right. I had the lunch time set menu. Great value for money and would highly recommend.
Thank you for a great meal.
K. G.
The food was conservative on flavour, feels and tastes like a British cuisine. Great selection of wine.
Service was really good, very polite and attentive.
The views are incredible, especially at sunset. After the meal, we walked along the Southbank which I would recommend.
P. K.
Must say that I was very surprised how welcoming and professional everyone is here, right from the door man to everyone we encountered. We really enjoyed our experience here the food was GREAT and the Wine choice very good too! A great view of the city too!
H. G.
We went to the brasserie. It is still pricy, but the view is very nice. The food was good. Especially the coffee brûlée.
S. Y.
Had a wonderful lunch in the Oxo Tower Brasserie, our belated honeymoon lunch treat. The staff were very professional. Lovely too. We had a delicious cocktail or 2. Soup for me Somerset Camembert for hubby, although we shared. My soup was not hot, no problem....a fresh bowl was brought....oh my goodness artichoke and porcine mushrooms....delicious, we then had the lamb....fabulous....the attention by staff was not too invasive but enough....we were greedy and had desserts and bless their hearts, they brought us extra ice-cream with happy honeymoon written in chocolate. Can I also mention that they change our seating to the window. What a treat, we throughly enjoyed the Oxo Tower Brasserie experience. The young staff are a credit .
G. S.
Great food and a fantastic atmosphere not to mention the view
a. M.
Expensive but well worth it . Great good, excellent service, great setting.
S. T.
The view is the show stopper here! We came across this place while searching for a veg friendly place for a friend who was visiting. The food was great with a very busy ambience. They have a very exhaustive wine bar for wine enthusiasts. The entrance to the place is not that impressive and we had to look around for a while till we figured it out. Would recommend this for special occassions as this place is expensive.
W. D.
The Brasserie at OXO Tower is a large open space with stunning views from the South Bank of St Paul's, and the London Eye. The large space is filled with the chatter of diners and soft twang of jazz music. The food is delicious. I ordered the confit duck salad, and fillet steak as a main. The salad was fantastic with the duck satisfyingly moist and crisp in place. The fillet steak was a perfect rare, with a green peppercorn sauce that was more like a glaze... It was rich, sticky and unctuous - I've never had peppercorn sauce like this before, and I don't want to go back! However, the service (it was around Xmas so I appreciate staff may have been new/undertrained and or horrendously exhausted) was fairly poor. We were left waiting to order drinks after we arrived, left waiting for our side dishes to go along with our mains for a good 8 minutes, and rather awkwardly fussed over when attempting to pour ourselves wine. The tables and chairs also seem a little out of place, seats that would seem apt in a small diner, or hipster cafe don't feel right in "OXO Tower", with it's name behind it you really expect something more... like a restaurant?
H. P.
Great views of London and delightful staff. I can't say I was particularly impressed by the quality of food given the price of dinner for two a little shy of £200 for a two course meal.
The staff were attentive and dressed my dessert to mark my birthday which was a sweet touch...
T. X.
The food is amazing and great choice of drinks also. The service is of high standard and everyone is so polite and friendly.. I would defenitley recommend going here!!
L. K.
Excellent service and delicious food. We were lucky to be seated outside and enjoy the beautiful views. We particularly enjoyed the scallop and langoustine ravioli starters.
D. S.
We have visited a few times. Great food, service and atmosphere. A good balance between feeling sophisticated but still an element of casualness.
When we went there were live music. Casual jazz, made the evening feel special. The views from there are wonderful.
The menu a good variety.
A. L.
Great place to spend a night out. We had live Latin music which made it special. Great view of the river and the city. Staff was very friendly and engaging.
P. K.
I had a dinner for my B-Day at the restaurant. The view was really nice, the food was ok. Overall the athmosphere was a bit unpersonal ... I was expecting at least one candle on the top of the expensive slice of cake we got.
P. D.
Went here for our 30th anniversary, from the moment we were met at reception the staff were fantastic. We had asked for a river view table and they accommodate our request. But only after being seated for a few minutes we were offered a table nearer to the river again. Service was first class throughout, food was fantastic and the sunset was amazing. Oxo definitely went the extra mile to make it a really special evening for us.
Thanks to all that made it happen.
R.
Food okay, nothing too special, slightly disappointing as I expected better.
Views are very good although terrace was closed when we were there.
Live music was good but a tad loud so bear that in mind.
D. V.
We did our Christmas do at this place !.. the views are fantastic !.. absolutely top quality food !!. The price is definitely on the higher side as we paid around £95 per head for the typical Christmas menu !.. they have some of the great wine selection, both red and white !... Only reason for a four star is that they did not let us go in the gallery for the view and did not really give a reason !
E. A.
First time here for friend's birthday party. The foods were amazing as the night city views.
I ordered oxtail salad for starter..wow ! Definitely going back.
J. E.
Fantastic food. Live music. A lovely evening. Restaurant team are great, made the evening. Much more family friendly than i thought it would be.
R. H.
Great venue, view and service . Some of the food dishes miss out on being 5 stars but it's a recommended place to try .
P. M.
We visited to celebrate our 25th/26th wedding anniversary as we could not celebrate last year. We sat on the terrace with great views of London and the river. Food was really good and the staff were excellent. Really made our night. Would visit again.
A.
Beautiful place, great terrace with a view on the river thames. They have a great menu with cocktails without alcohol, which are often underrated ! I wanted to try them all!
B. E.
Eat out to help out summer menu, £39 for 3 courses and a cocktail (£29 Monday - Wednesday). Nice menu showcasing summer fruits and flavours.
S. D.
My steak was cooked as requested but I wasn't blown away by any of the food. However, the wine menu was positively extensive and the cocktails were enjoyable. I couldn't help but feel that we ultimately paid far above the odds for an experience we didn't really feel and a view which couldn't be appreciated from our table. I'd expected a renowned London fine dining restaurant to stand out from the crowd but unfortunately it just blended into it.
p.
Went here for a business lunch, it has great views over London from the south bank. The views were amazing the food okay but not so special to me. We had a 30£ lunch menu which was quite hearty.
G. V.
Had a lunchtime birthday meal in the Brasserie with my family on 22nd July. The weather was good so we were able to sit outside overlooking the river. The food was outstanding. The portions were just the right size and beautifully presented. Sure, it's a little on the pricey end, but the quality was worth it. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I'm a veggie, so I judge a restaurant by their skill and imagination when catering for difficult customers like me. I can only say I was very impressed.
H. T.
Delicious food, fantastic presentation! Lovely location. Great views along the Thames. Friendly staff.
G. S.
Visited formy birthday today and had a lovely time. The staff was polite and friendly. The food was pretty great: I had the gazpacho, which came with a skewer of juicy prawns and chorizo; then, as a main, I had the stone bass, which was delicious, especially on the bed of pea purée and with the crab cake on the side. Then I had the cherry soufflé which took the expected time to make (and still they brought some yummy sorbet to make up for it, which was not necessary but highly appreciated) and was worth every moment: fluffy and tasty. Compliments to the chef! The cocktails are also a high in this visit: I had the Smoky River which I loved. Definitely will come back!
C. H.
Food exquisite, service prompt and overseen. Absolutely spoilt. What a view of the Thames and City to boot. Brilliant Christmas experience. Thankyou team OXO. From the Froxfield Five. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
C. L.
Very Artistic and unique experience
F. P.
Took my mum here for her birthday.
The tower itself is amazing and the views over London are always something we both love.
We were seated with a marvellous view of St Paul's Cathedral. As the skyline changed with the time of day, so it seemed the view did.
The service was ok, not bad but not the greatest either.
As far as the food went it was pleasant, but to be honest I have had better from other upscale London restaurants. What I will say is that they did not forget to decorate my mums desert plate as per my request, wishing her a happy birthday.
The desert itself was a massive soufflé which looked impressive upon its arrival. However neither of us could eat it, due to it being sickly sweet.
Now I have a seriously sweet tooth, and if even I was unable to demolish it... you know that soufflé was go see the dentist right now sweet!!
G.
Wonderful food service and amazing views of central london and the city
I. Y.
We only went in for one drink, but the views and atmosphere (especially friendly staff) meant that we stayed for another and then decided to have a meal.
Charging for bread and butter feels like a cheap move, but the two mains we had with sides were both excellent in every respect.
Coupled with the live music, it was a lovely, impromptu experience.
C. B.
Great food, pretty pricy, but good, fresh food! Great views. Had the three course meal, fairly affordable, have no clue what the desert was, but was delicious!!! Service was fantastic.
R.
The food was ok, nothing really special- the service was really good - very attentive to the details and every now and again coming to the table- the view is really nice I guess in summer is even better - I think is a bit overpriced
j. e.
Great views and great food.
We probably would've had a better time in the Brasserie...the Dining room wants to be more formal.
Had a nice dinner and a great walk along the river to the Southbank center.
K.
Lovely view, lovely food, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff!!! Mid range pricing that isnt cheap but wont break the bank either. Recommend!!
I. I.
Overall good, however my food was not hot and the waiters persistently ruined the meal by counting down the time we had to leave. Also the bill came with an assumed £59 tip!?
They were extremely flustered and asked why they didn't deserve it when I asked for the tip to be removed.
It's crazy, these things ruin an otherwise (mostly) good experience
F. S.
Amazing! Food was top notch as was the service. The views are spectacular.
Prices are what you would expect for the location.
K. R. (. L.
Always a pleasure to visit this place, the bar has such a lovely view and the staff are always very accommodating for seats outside, even when you have to wait they look after you until it's free. Drinks are lovely , a deffo great spot
M. M.
We came here for lunch to treat my parents in law, I had looked at past reviews and was impressed by what I read. We were seated outside overlooking the Thames and North bank, it was perfect and the weather played ball.
The service was fantastic throughout and we opted for the set lunch menu's. The options were varied, the food was presented well and tasted good.
It hasn't topped my favourite restaurant experience hence the four star review, however I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.
C. W.
We went there for our 50th wedding anniversary with the family. The food was really good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Nice place to eat for a special occasion.
A. Y.
Lovely afternoon tea, with a fun theme and a great view.
Handled dietary requirements well.
Unfortunately it was super noisy, the tables and chairs felt old and the service was super-slow.
J. R.
Love this place - great location. Good views of London. Food excellent. Title bit pricey
A. F.
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of visiting this majestic establishment. The table was not yet prepared when I arrived, but the barstool I was directed to was the comfiest thing into which I have ever eased my delicate derrière. The fact that I had to Google the definitions for every menu item did not deter me from thoroughly enjoying my meal, and the sunlit mound of St Paul's perfectly complemented the complimentary soft warm sourdough on my side plate. A true feast for the senses.
B. O.
Amazing food, and most importantly the staff were friendly and polite
J. A.
Lovely cocktails with amazing view!
T. A.
Outstanding food, venue and customer service! Friends and I visited here on 14 September to celebrate two 60th birthdays. As soon as I booked the table online I received an email from Anna asking all sorts of questions about the occasion and offering really helpful suggestions to make our visit extra special. Everything was perfect and we all had an amazing time. Thank you to everyone at OXO Bar and Brasserie, and especially to Anna for providing such fantastic customer service!
남.
This time ,mom, dad, and I had a wonderful dinner at oxo restaurant .It has 3 courses in the child menu .If you are at london, I definitely recommend this restaurant !~♡
M. D.
It would have been 5 stars, but the service was painfully slow. The waiters were great and explained the reasons ... but it was really slow. The food was outstanding. Fantastic wine list. A really lovely experience. I didn't know Harvy Nick's was running the place now, and they are doing a good job. Location, location, location, and this is as good as it gets.
L. B.
Today we went for cocktails to celebrate a birthday.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Relaxed atmosphere.
L. M.
A place where you can truely appreciate the beauty of Thames and London! Enjoying a drink, a nice chat and the view. Been several times. With customers and friends. It is a great treat.
D. C.
Came here for a random evening meal, the place was very busy for early week. I was very pleased with the service that we got even though it was pretty much full and the food itself was of a very high quality and presentation.
I would have loved to come in the warmer weather as the views from the balcony outside is ideal for a romantic meal.
I think I will be doing just that!
E. D.
I visited Last week and can not say I was disappointed,
It was a special occasion and the staff did the best to accommodate although it was on short notice
We ordered the mushroom oxtail which I believe is one of the best dishes in the menu.
I can not say the same for the veal t bone ,
For the salmon as they were overcooked and lacking a bit of taste.
Still good but not what it normally is
Will visit again
M. L.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to!
Stylish, superb food, lovely staff, beautiful views of the city, wonderful atmosphere and live music... I can go on and on.
Keep up the good work!
C. C.
Food very good, service very good. The only reason it didn't get the fifth star is that value for money isn't there. I feel its over priced. Otherwise a good evening
Z. T.
Good food and nice environment. Definitely a great place and would go again. The only minus for me was the look and feel of the tables, they looked like tables in a museum cafeteria and didn't complement the ambience and views of the restaurant. The tables were also packed super close to each other, which isn't ideal for a dinner date. But nonetheless it was a great spot for a date night.
c. r.
We went to the Oxo tower restaurant on our trip to London and booked the summer dining set menu. The service was attentive , the food very tasty and beautifully presented and the view of London and sunset amazing. Great cocktails including in the deal. Drinks a bit pricey but still excellent value for the overall experience.
S. B.
Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, fabulous service and equally fabulous views
S. F. a. S.
I had a really time with the work fam. We celebrated a work event.
It was very organised, respectful to dietary needs and great customer services.
The view was amazing- I had the seats near the windows so I could see the river view.
This was a lunch that we a went for and the food was absolutely delicious.
The sea bass was good and dessert 👏🏽 loved it. Thank you 💜
F. A.
Had Brunch at the OXO Tower restaurant by Harvey Nichols on the terrace overlooking the Thames and it was beautiful. Cocktails and food were amazing and at a very good price also. Service by the staff was A-Class and perfect! I Definitely recommend!
D. C.
Oxo offers you more than a wonderful meal! This establishment has a great environment, an accommodating staff, and stunning views of London on the River Thames from the deck. If you are visiting London, I would put this as a must on your list!
T. K.
Dinner at the restaurant was really something, hosted on the 8th Floor, the view of London was great! Very attentive staff but in the most unobtrusive way. Food was worthy of the price and the service attached!
K. N.
Visited for my boyfriend’s birthday and enjoyed a relaxing lunch with views of the City. Service was very attentive and the food was great. Will visit again.
L. K.
Had the prawns starter and lamb neck. Not really a fan of how the prawns were cooked. Was expecting them to be leaking with flavoursome juices but it had very minimal seasoning, still tasted like the sea. At least it shows that they're fresh! 🤷🏽♀️
The pea mash/puree was exquisite that accompanied with the lamb. 👌🏽 Such a small plate of food though. For a main it wasn't very filling. But I guess that's gourmet dining for you! Personally I don't think the prices are worth the dishes. I just had to tell myself I'm paying for the view, and was seated on the balcony so that it didn't hurt so much.
M. D.
Very enjoyable experience at the Brasserie attentive staff without being intrusive
Excellent starter and tender rib eye finished off with a delicious dessert.
C.
A very modern and sophisticated place to grab a drink with friends. Brunch menu is small but decently priced and staff are friendly.
G. T.
Food was really and the views are amazing. Very Pricey but they made the experience worth it.
J. S.
It is a very nice location but quite hot if you get an indoor table. The service was good but quite slow...even though most of the restaurant was empty. Food was good. Nice to have been there once but would not go again.
P. D.
Despite the rain and wind outside, a perfect slice of calm with good selection of beers, amazing pork scratchings and array of sharing side plates at a gaie price. Booked a bar area table for a couple of hours - attentive, friendly staff, ensured we were never left thirsty or hungry for long. Highly recommended as a treat. Will save up for the full restaurant experience one day.
L. O.
What a wonderful place, start in the bar great views then move over to restaurant then the taste buds start to dance with joy. The food melts in your mouth from starter to dessert. This is a must for everyone.
D. A.
We ate in the Brasserie at 6pm. Two days after indoor dining allowed. Service was excellent considering the long break & food quality as good as always. Live music discreet & when we left all tables full - which is great news. Not the cheapest restaurant but great setting (8th floor overlooking Thames) and good quality dining.
R. H.
Popped in for s couple of cocktails. Never disappointing with the flavours and taste and selection of cocktails. Staff always helpful an friendly and some great views of the Southbank.
N. N.
Great views if its warm and you are sitting outside. There is a lovely view inside also. Food was superb!
M. E.
Fantastic restaurant with great views over the Thames, food was excellent and lovely staff!
L. L.
Professional service, nice dining ambience and a great view of St pauls. Food and drink are both exquisite and delicious. Super tender pork belly, John dory and steak. Perfect for a romantic date meal or just for drinks.
C. V.
A wonderful evening with excellent service and lovely food. This place is absolutely fantastic with an amazing view of London. Staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Everything about the experience was a delight.
D. K.
Beautiful views when sitting on the balcony. Service was wonderful and food equally as good. Must try the châteaubriand and scallops.
A. O.
Beautiful views, fantastic food and wonderful staff..if the sun is out, there really are very few nicer spots in London
R. C.
Great food. Very busy location though, the bar area was packed. The views over the Thames are spectacular with St Paul's in full view. Excellent menu choices and one of our group had special dietary needs and was looked after perfectly.
R. H.
Always lovely. Relaxed, friendly and serving superb food. Classic brasserie menu but full of imaginative twists and turns. Hearty portions too. Immaculate presentation and the highest standards of service.
H. H.
Didn't come up to expectations service very good but I'll after food and not a great atmosphere
S. P.
Excellent service all around, however somewhat dissapointing menu choices for allergy sufferers - only two things don't have sulphites in which I was very surprised by. I ended up ordering the lamb and they took off part of it which, whilst still tasty, left it rather dry. The service and everything else was good, but for the price I expected better.
L. H.
Fantastic place, very special. Exquisite food, friendly staff, amazing views...
S. F.
Food was great, views are impressive be mindful of the staff trying to upsell, we were offer a glass of champagne as it was a special occasion but it wasn't a kind gesture as we were expected to pay for it, we were offered bread while we decided what to eat again this was at a cost, the staff will only tell you it's not free you ask them directly.
M. R.
Great food and service. Staff friendly & tentative. Good views.
C. B.
Considering the extreme heat and the staff melting in masks - we had a lovely meal ac not great as doors open but at back of restaurant still had a view. The bread to die for. Attentive friendly staff. Comfy chairs for bad backs! Would thoroughly recommend.
S. L.
Incredible food and some great views over London! Service was good but we did feel like we were forgotten about a little bit when the restaurant started getting busier
d.
Great evening. Terrace table in bistro, which was perfect. Lovely food, attentive service. Superb view and atmosphere.
A. F.
Only downside is the price... but oh well it is London right? Exquisite service, amazing food and a good view of Thames River.
Highly reccomend it.
D. R.
Beautiful setting on Thames. Solid menu with an exceptional wine list. Not cheap, but fair for what it is.
E. C.
A truly 5 star experience all round. The staff deserve a special mention as both the front of house and chefs are fantastic, the service was seemless and when we asked if we could sit outside, as soon as a table was available we were relocated to enjoy the main course, dessert and the sunset. Absolutely excellent!
A. M.
Great place. Unpretentious but classy. Wonderful staff who are friendly and helpful. Best stocked bar I've found.
Great cocktails at reasonable prices in a great location.
Get in the lift and take a look.
J. M.
Amazing food and views xx totally recommend x
A. “. H.
A special stop, with an amazing view. We tried the set menu over the valentines weekend and weren’t disappointed. Tasty food, decent portions. A nice atmosphere, and attentive service. Can’t wait to go back.
S. B.
Loved it. I had not been here for a long time.
An absolute pleasure all round.
The most friendliest and helpful staff. Busy but still relaxed.
Can't wait to come back.
Thank you.
F. D.
Great bar. Went only for drinks. Cocktails are a bit expensive however they have a nice view over London.
K. W.
Lovely food, great service and fabulous view of the London skyline
V. V.
Hubby booked for a birthday SUPRISE dinner..excellent
D. D.
Affordable fine dining. Nice restaurant with good city views and attentive staff. They have a special veggeterian menu
L. C.
Great place. I didn't go there for drinks and food, but they have a great visitor platform on the 8th floor, where you have a beautiful view over the city. Especially at night its a stunning view. Definitely worth to visit. Best of all you don't have to pay for it. Just take the elevator up to 8th floor and turn right.
J. C.
Restaurant, a bar and a public viewing of the city. Go to the lift, level 8 and ask for the public viewing. Really nice!
M. G.
Nice location, and very good service and food.enu has a good variety and tasty options to choose from. Cocktails are good indeed!
S. O.
Amazing. Delicious food on the set menu. Fantastic ambience with a pianist & singer doing jazz standards. And brilliant, friendly & efficient service. Plus a view of the Thames to die for. Cannot ask for more.
E. K.
Food was mediocre and the seat was not comfortable.
X. H.
Food was tasty and portions were large. We had the Summer dinning menu - well worth the price. Very good service and views.
A. C.
Work lunch. Wonderful staff, beautiful views and great food. Loved it.
D. C.
Really tasty food with fantastic view. My Melba daiquiri was delicious.
L. R.
The food is amazing, a wine selection that will let you speechless, with the view of St Paul's, The City and the river. A kind and professional staff that will make you repeat the experience!!!
V. F.
Wonderful light and airy atmosphere with attentive staff and good food. It isn’t cheap but the views are wonderful. Treat yourself!
R.
Had just drinks there with two of my friends. Quite place and a nice view. Although baby changing facilities need improvement. No space to put your changing bag but to leave it on the floor also the changing board was dirty.
L. H.
One word, fabulous!! Took my daughter to this restaurant for her birthday, but also had my grandson of 15 months with us. The staff were amazing as was the view from the terrace. The staff were wonderful with my grandson and I will definitely dine here again.
C. G.
Great staff, good value midsummer deal, great food. Looking forward to returning.
A. O.
We reserved a dinner for two and got great food plus the acoustic equivalent of the Oktoberfest. So the food was delicious but we could not hear what the person across the table or waiter was saying. Also our table was so dark that I could not make out details of the really tasty food. Maybe next time.
e. l.
Very nice food. Great service. The staff was very attentive. I definitely recommend going.
M. H.
Great food, great wine and amazing service. Highly recommended.
M. D.
Fantastic views over London. The atmosphere is a little lacking - it feels a little cold. Food is mediocre.
L. M.
Great food from a well priced set menu. Friendly staff. We were moved to a window table for desert. All that and a world class view.
J. M.
I can't comment on the rest of the establishment but the restaurant was really good. Modern and spacious with a good menu and excellent food. The balcony seating with a view of the river would be lovely on a summers' day.
A. B.
Classy: friendly staff, amazing food, stunning views.
N. D.
Very good meal, especially the lamb. Try the excellent house white Bacchus wine. The background music especially the live singer could be a notch or two quieter. Will return though.
G. M.
Fantastic rooftop restaurant. Excellent views of st pauls cathedral and embankment. The service was brilliant and the food was amazing. Great from start to finish. Can not fault this place. The cocktails were also very good and innovative.
R. W.
Fantastic service, beautiful views, great food! Couldn't fault my experience here!
s. h.
Great food & service . 100% go back
S. J.
Fabulous food, wonderful service, great skyline views. Booking essential, well worth saving for special occasions.
A. P.
Incredible dinner in a London landmark. Fillet with Truffle Gnocchi was possibly the best main I've ever had. The perfect place to go with someone special or for a special occasion.
A. B.
Lovely staff, great service, and spectacular food overlooking the Thames. I would highly recommend 💕
L. R.
Great local for views and special occasions. Ok so we didn't get to see much of the view, the food and wine were excellent. Only tiny feedback is to maybe get someone with some knowledge of wine, if they are introduced as the sommelier..
R. H.
Awesome food, great service, highly attentive staff who were not intrusive. One of the best dining experiences i have had.
A. T.
Delicious summer set menu, great service, amazing views, highly recommend!
J. C.
I went to OXO Tower to #celebrate #NYE which was one of the best ways to say #bye2018 and #hello2018. The venue was decorated to add to the #party atmosphere and there was a #liveband playing #music while we dined as part of the #entertainment.
One area of improvement would be for the venue to have alternative menus for those people who have #allergies or contacting us in advance to cater for us instead of us only having a few choices from the standard menu.
But on a whole the venue is great for any occasion.
A. M.
Great meal, service and ambience. Nice to be back
Y. L.
The view is fabulous and the food quality matches the level of view! Great experience during summer dusk on the Thames.
J. M.
Lovely food. Nothing was too much trouble. Great views
J. G. (. D.
Lovely food good service quite expensive.
T. G. M.
Amazing cocktails and service
J. O.
A cool place and a nice view. Usually it is quite busy, so reservation is needed. Food is also great, and meat outstanding.
R. G.
Great food - amazing views and service
Make sure you book and it gets busy in the summer
A. F.
Great views from the bar. Really enjoyed the cocktails
M. B.
Beautiful food and a very helpful waiter. Moved us to a Riverside seat without having to ask.
S.
We had a fantastic experience here. Chris particularly was so lovely and gave excellent service. The cocktails were wonderful and he gave great advice and was super attentive. We cannot wait to go again - hopefully with Chris as our server!
K. O.
Excellent food with incredible service. Obviously, high quality food is to be expected but the real gem in the brasserie is the view across London's South Bank, over the River Thames. A great place of a relaxing meal and drink, on any occasion.
D. N.
Great views, decent food and wine. Good option for corporate events.
l. g.
It's a bit overpriced and staff is a bit pushy portion for Price are not adequate at all, food quality was not that great at all also but deserts been good that's why 3 stars
P. K.
Very enjoyable late lunch. Staff excellent, attentive and relaxed. Food good but a bit pricey. Cocktails also good but again expensive. Great views.
B.
Lovely place to have tea and snacks. Service was amazing.
M. O.
Amazing food and friendly staff. Slight delay on desert and offered a glass of prosecco. Very customer friendly!
P. M.
Went there for a Christmas party. Beautiful views and decent food. Staff could have been more attentive.
C. D.
Awesome view. Plates big enough, very tasty, especially the rabbit. The staff is very friendly.
H. S.
The food was excellent. It took a bit longer than we had wanted to get drinks but the waiting staff were fantastic during the meal.
S. G.
Really good value afternoon tea with great river views and informal yet white linen service.
G. O.
Overall good Sunday lunch experience. Beautiful view on the river, the food was good, but not amazing. The live music was a nice touch, but the genre, country music, felt a bit out of place. It might be just my taste.
J. R.
The setting is stunning, the service is great, the food is , well, average and very overpriced.
I admit it's not the usual place I woul go to. We treated ourselves with the Eat out Help Out scheme. We were disappointed about the food. It looked great on the plate , like one of those fancy dishes they produce on master chef, but quite frankly I've had better home cooking.
A. S.
Just amazing food and view
D. P.
Fantastic! Location, ambience, menu, food, drinks, service - everything was 100%
G. L.
Lovely place for cocktails on a special occasion.
E. B. (. t. B.
The view alone is a reason to go but the food and wine just add to the experience. Staff were attentive, friendly and good craic! Go here!
G. F.
Great food and drinks with great views over London. The staff are lovely.
H. D.
Best steak ever!! The peppercorn sauce was amazing. Service was great too. Great view which adds to the experience.
R. W.
Great food, great service and reasonably priced for central London.
D. B.
Excellent food, great location and restrained and attentive service. We enjoyed our lunch enourmously.
P. S.
I love going to the Oxo tower, not just for the views but the food is great.
r.
Delicious well thought out and clever menu, with views over the city to die for, combined with impeccable service with the best staff who ensure you fully enjoy your visit and a sommelier who can take you to heaven and back. Top Tip if you like port you are going to love Penfold's Tawny Father. Nectar in a bottle. Do yourself a favour and take the person that means the most to you.
J. L.
A bit pricey but you paid for the excellent river view. Food is acceptable! And excellent service!
絕對無敵河景, 去吃晚飯相當一流!
N. A. E.
This is a great restaurant, with an interesting menu and friendly service that doesn’t interrupt your enjoyment of the meal. Great views, some of the best in London.
S. T.
Overpriced place for dinner. Selection of food was okay and food very standard. Would only take tourists and out of towners... otherwise, nothing special and not worth the premium. Higher rating given due to views from Thames
c. p.
Main came a little too quickly but they were very apologetic so really should be 5 stars.
C. L.
Love the food and desserts, would have been more satisfying if the portions were bigger :-)
D. H.
Amazing views .. limited Menu for dining ... Loved the buzz and outdoor.
S. F.
The view was just as excellent as the food, and the service was top-notch as well.
M. C.
Great buzz...busy early evening. From the lift attendant, the reception staff, bar manager, bar waiting staff and our dining room waitress Agnieska the staff were professional, welcoming and friendly. Food was fab.
S. A.
Lovely afternoon tea. friendly staff with a smile. amazing views
N. F.
The view was amazing.. however service was slow and food overpriced for the quality you receive.. staff are very friendly just a little disappointed.
F. i.
Great mains. Highly recommend ravioli and the English white chocolate tart
Do not go near the bakewell tart, its harder than an african aunty from the stone ages. 'girls must not be seen, dear'
Great service
Great location
Great views (not on a gloomy day)
yes we did go on a gloomy day
A. C.
Fantastic food and drink to celebrate some special times! Really great food!
M. C.
With a good reputation that did not disappoint the venue provided an excellent river side view for a delicious and enjoyable cream tea preceded by drinks at the bar and a glass of champagne. Service was top notch and without fault. The servings were varied and innovative and were welcomed and consumed with pleasure. An added bonus was that busy venue was an ideal place for people watching.
D. C.
Lovely experience an with a view on balcony, staff friendly an excellent customer Service, Food absolutely gorgeous an will definitely visit bk here again .
E. G.
Nice place. Tasty food. Relaxed ambiance. Professional staff.
G. B.
Reall good food! Atmosphere was brilliant and the view over he Thames is 💯
E. L.
Great view of the City without the "queue" while enjoying an adult refreshment, great appetizers or a meal.
J. G.
Had my birthday meal here, had a menu for £36 for starter, main meal, alcoholic drink and a desert! Have been charged for service on top, I think around £12. The food was very tasty and the portion size was huge! The best part is balcony and the view! Would come back and recommend to a friend! Better to spend £36 on a meal and a view, than £40 on London Eye (the view is the same)!
D. R.
Amazing cocktails on an outstanding balcony over the Thames. Expensive but worth every penny. Go off you're in the area, you will not be disappointed!
B. M.
Visiting Oxo Tower brasserie is always an exceptional experience. We’ve been there already 2 times. I can definitely say that they serve one of the best steaks.
I’ve eaten and I had quite a few in my life! All the food is literally amazing and the view over London is just magical.
Moreover I think that the prices are absolutely adequate to what you recieve. If you want to experience something you won’r forget and regret - this is the place.
A. W.
Wow!! Really good food, started off seated at the entrance but as I had requested a table with a view on short notice. When it became available the lovely waiter kindly obliged and moved us into the mix, where the atmosphere was colourful and vibrant. Amongst it all even though it was well attended the spaces between the tables were enough for us to feel as though we had our own space to just be. Great choice for our anniversary meal.
M. S.
Coffee and a lovely view. Nice friendly staff. Perfect!💫
F. G.
Great service, amazing food, beautiful views!
D. K.
Good views from terrace. Service was very good. Food is OK but obviously pricey. Lamb was quite fatty.
B. B.
The staff amazing , Excellent service, the food very good quality.
Thank you for these day.
d. s.
Fun, popular brasserie with great menu and very energetic attentive staff
F. M.
I've been to many restaurants but, OXO Tower, ticks all the boxes. Literally, loved it from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out. The food, environmental, staff, view, and the wine, all was perfect. Highly recommended.
E. C.
High up in the OXO tower with a view of the river Thames, St Paul's cathedral and the rest of the city skyline. Can't get much better view while dining. The out door seating area is on a grass surface area that feels and looks like a lawn. It's fake, chicken proof. Really quite impeccable. The area is covered, so should be ok even if it rains. The dining room has floor to ceiling windows and there is an open style kitchen.
My oriental chill drink was quite refreshing. It had lychee and lime juice in it. The yellow split pea soup had some chilli cream in it, this was very good. Comes with chilli oil on top, flavoured with coriander and lime. It's really smooth. I think I might try to make this at home.
The shallot miso spelt risotto was so heavy, I almost couldn't finish it. But then I did. It's served with a big cabbage piece in the middle and tahini dressing. Very healthy. My only complaint was food temperature could have been slightly hotter.
The pan fried sea bass was perfect. Comes with a cauliflower purée, potato gnocchi, green cabbage and lemon dill dressing. It's a large piece of fish, good quality, skin burnt to perfection. Well worth the price tag.
A. G.
Great food, great views, excellent service.
T. W.
Food was out of this world. Ambience and waiter beyond words. Wonderful view and a sunset to die for.
T. C.
Fantastic, great staff, great food, and a very competitive price, was better than expected
S. W.
Really lovely staff, great food and marvelous views.
A. B.
Had afternoon tea and it was lovely. Great seats on the balcony. Comparably priced with other afternoon teas
L. C.
Booked for the winter set menu. £39 for 4 courses and a drink. Couldn't ask for better value. The pork was cooked to perfection and you can't beat the view to accompaniment it. The staff were superb and really made you feel welcome. It makes you wish all restaurants cared this much about their customers this much. Fantastic.
R. B.
Very high quality food, however service was very slow and we seemed to be ignored at times. Quite expensive but worth the experience
m. g.
Great location & views.
Very friendly welcoming staff.
A. A. Q.
Great starter and main course. But not as delicious desert.
Little bit pricey.
D. P.
Great service and ambience. Food was great and made to feel very welcome.
R. M.
Beautiful food and polite staff:)) Professional Customer Service
P. C.
Fantastic experience in the Brasserie, I didn't have a booking but was accommodated, it was reasonably bustling even on a Tuesday but not unpleasantly so. The service was second to none, too often even in top dining establishments the staff aren't attentive and you almost have to grab one for service. Not so at OXO, courses were presented and cleared efficiently and I barely had to make eye contact with the waiter when I needed something. The food was exceptional, particularly the lamb main course. BZ all round.
P. P.
A very good meal in a buzzy atmosphere. Great views too, and friendly service too. I did enjoy this place.
L. R.
So nice, perfect veiw with delicious food and amazing service 🍾😊
N. P.
Great view of the Thames while you have a drink/meal or both. Definitely ask for a table with a view of the Thames on the balcony (if the weather is suitable)
J. I.
Great location and good place for lunch on a sunny day. Ate at the brasserie main menu was decent, but would recommend more for drinks or dessert.
T. S.
Great bar if you want cocktails with a view. ££££
S. P.
I tried OXO IPA and it became one of my favourite IPA. Nice location with a free terrace where you can drink your beer.
J. M.
Great views, varied tasting menu and wine flight with a knowledgeable sommelier. Not disappointed.
R. K.
Wagyu beef burger is the best burger I have ever had. Staff are great, helpful. Place is clean, tidy and view is perfect
J. S.
great vibes but comes early. quite expensive also so get bandages for your wallet.
M. A.
Nice experience. Would be the best if weather was good so we can go out in the terrace.
B. S.
View from the brassiere. Good service.
D. P.
The staff were lovely, the fish was cooked well and the desert was well balanced
A. P.
What a beautiful place in the heart of london for a coffee and pastries excellent I am going back soon HOORAY.
G. T.
Great view and top quality service. If you happen to be a bit fussy with food choices, then this might not be your place. Cater for those with a slightly experimental choice. Even though I'm a more traditional eater, I enjoyed everything.
Not obvious to find, use the elevators located in the courtyard side (not Thames side), top floor. Also a separate bar should you want to consume a drink whilst waiting or working with a view.
C. J.
Fantastic views on the terrace and good selection of wines, about food I can say it was alright. Service was excellent as always. Big thanks Dan 👌
C.
Visited brassiere on Tuesday lunchtime despite mistake made by friend with booking. We sat on veranda overlooking Thames and very nice waitress attended I had pasta dish from lunch menu delicious, rich, creamy, tasty. My friend had the sea bream beautifully cooked and again very tasty. It is quite pricey but food was good, ambience great and cocktails good. Lovely relaxing lunch. One blip garden type metal chairs on veranda not very comfortable.
C. F.
Very chic, stylish but nicely relaxed and excellent service aling with fantastic views of London skyline. Great place to go especially for special occassions.
J. B.
Very good food and good albeit slightly snooty service.
D. J.
We ate at the Braserie at OXO Tower, and we were very pleased with the meal. In fact, I could say we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is run by the Harvey Nichols people, and we weren't quite sure what to expect. The appetizers, the mains, and the wines were all quite good. A special vote for the excellent pork belly. The service was a bit hit-and-miss, and none too fast, but all in all it was certainly worth going to.
R. S.
Fantastic views with great atmosphere. Great food and service !
C. B.
10 of us went for my birthday to the Brasserie. Spectacular location. Views are breathtaking. Food was delicious and portions sizes were very generous. I felt it was very good value. Decor is nothing special, but the view at night makes up for that.
A. R.
Booked a Sunday lunch here and had a wonderful meal helped by the enormous cocktails!
Views down the river, we were inside so we're not able to comment on whether the outside tables were in or out of the wind but the people outside seemed happy to be there.
Menu was great and the deserts to die for.
Made more special for the live music playing all through the lunchtime period, will.definitly go again.
M. G.
Excellent service, very nice food, outstanding views
P. R.
This restaurant is top quality. They have a beautiful view and an amazing atmosphere. It was my fiancees birthday and we were also celebrating something else also which the manager knew from my Reservation email. I had one special request which we couldn't promise but it was still fulfilled. From the food and drinks to just the service they provided, it was beyond perfect. I would highly highly recommend this spot if you want a special night with a significant other or just want a good place to eat!
S. R.
The service is amazing here. They are so polite and fast. They respond to your needs even before you ask them. Especially the woman who welcomed us and brought us to our table was so kind. The food came very quickly but it wasn't something exceptional. Only the pumpkin cheese cake for dessert was very tasty.
J. K.
Never disappoints. Excellent service, fabulous food, great interior, fantastic views, well mannered clientele. Worth every penny.
b. e.
was quite disappointed in the bloody Mary cocktail provided, considering the price. however the staff were helpful in replacing. Food was to a good standard
O. P.
What an amazing place with the view! Great service, never saw such a friendly stuff as here, high kitchen en sophisticated menu. A bit expensive but it's worth the money. highly recommend!
R. C.
A perfect evening at Oxo Brasserie! Staff could not have been more helpful, considerate and kind. And food and wine were fab! Thank you!
g. l.
Lively atmosphere, live music , busy , great view
C. F.
Lovely view of the river from the terrace. Food was very good. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with my friend's food intolerance. We went to celebrate two birthdays and they presented us both with plates that said happy birthday and had candles in ice cream. Nice touch that we appreciated.
V. F.
Second visit arranged through a manager due to concerns after a first experience and VERY special occasion celebration in June! Tonight started with a complimentary bottle of Champagne and just like the first time the service was faultless. Staff are always very attentive under very stressful and busy conditions. The food was absolutely lovely and well presented from start to finish. Wonderful experience and worth every penny! Thank you OXO!
C. A.
The food were fab. Love the desserts.
Amazing river view.
E. C.
My sister came from Spain over Christmas and she really wanted an afternoon tea. I booked for Boxing day. The location and view was really nice. Service great as well. However the food was really nothing special. the sandwich bread seemed old, i could feel the texture. the fillings very average. they also had these additional canapé style savoury snacks, like brioche with crab and again it just seemed old and dry. the cakes/desserts were ok. there was one though we did not have because we did not like it.
C. M.
Visiting for a 60th birthday.. I did not have its usual buzz due to the current covid restrictions, but was over half full.
The staff were amazingly attentive.. Food was amazing as always, and the sommelier did an awesome job helping wine match a glass for each course.
Great place, with a great view, great staff, great food.. We will be back soon.. Looking forward to try the tasting menu.
A. J.
Packed. Great service. Food as good as ever. Live music. Fantastic.
P. C.
Best view and top notch food but restaurant side amazing great time lovely staff thank you xxx
D. S.
Lovely setting. Food good too. Service good.
Acoustics poor due to extensive glazing, hard tables and stone flooring. And once the live music commences, forget romantic table talk. It's shouting.
D. D.
This is going to sound harsh and I'm sorry, but this isn't what it used to be.
I used to come here in the 90s and it was fantastic. I'm in London for a weekend before work and wanted to take a buddy from Sweden as we're staying round the corner and I bigged it up.
And I didn't look good.
First, staff are friendly but the service isn't as it was or should be, it's just friendly. Back in the 90s the service was fantastic, I'd just look up and someone world be there.
Last night I looked and looked and nobody came. We had our entire second course with the dregs of the wine in our glass from the first course and were gasping. I specifically asked for a wine to compliment each course.
Onto the food and or first courses were lovely. I had the pork and my busy had the salmon. Plates were cleaned.
The second course on the other hand was tasteless and overcooked. Maybe it could have been helped if someone came to ask us how things were a little into the course and not seconds after we got it.
But the food looked good. And if your want to impress someone then this place could work for you. But it really isn't what it used to be.
T. C.
Great restaurant to see London with a nice view. From our table we could see the beautiful St Paul Cathedral.
The food is amazing. The starters were lovely and our main course was so delicious. The proportion of our food was perfect.
I was advised by the kellner which wine I had to pick. All of my glasses were perfectly suited to my food. It was a wonderful evening.
It's a bit pricey for 'normal' or mid-range people like me. But it's absolutely worth it for once!!
It was a lovely night with very friendly and helpful staff.
A. L.
Lovely Champagne afternoon tea in the OXO Tower restaurant. Polite and efficient staff who looked after us perfectly. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
A. O. H.
Perfect dining experience! We had a winter menu 3 courses. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Really nice experience to see Londen from another view. Shout out to the wonderful personnel! It was fabulous 😍
A. L.
The food was great, a bit overpriced. Very noisy place
S. S.
Some interesting antique clinometer, fog horns on display at the OXO Tower restaurant at South Bank, London
H. E.
Outstanding restaurant. Attentive service, incredible food and one of the best views in London. The taster menu is highly recommended! Only downside is the high cost but absolutely worth it for a special occasion.
Y. B.
Wonderful experience. Great customer service and delicious food.
B. S.
AMAZING food, beautiful location and views, service slightly dodgy - was celebrating an anniversary and imagine the surprise when they brought out the dessert with "Happy Birthday" written on it...wrong bits and pieces throughout but the staff were trying very hard!
A. B.
Fabulous rooftop restaurant (we go because husband designed the roof!). Amazing food. Staff are super efficient, friendly and accommodating. Their cocktails are always good. Great views of the Thames and beyond. Only gave 4 stars because the only downside is there are only 2 lifts which are VERY slow. Last time got stuck behind a very large group who had all arrived at the same time and each lift only takes about 6 people.
Z. S.
Had a great work dinner here. Food is lovely and great options for a vegetarian. Service is great. They are very attentive! Only downside was it was very noisy in there because they had hired the bar out privately and its all open plan. Has fantastic views!
A. D.
Great service and unbelievable offer of 3 courses and a cocktail for £30! Food is excellent. The ambience of the Oxo is friendly and relaxed, dress is smart casual. Great views over London and live jazz in the evening. Will definitely go again - it was a really enjoyable experience.
m. b.
Excellent service staff and view. Would recommend
A. T.
Love this restaurant. Great food and views over London and the Thames. The servers and sommeliers are pleasant and knowledgeable. Have been coming here since 2003 and will return again.
A. W.
Viewpoint amazing!! Staff friendly and no cost to view. Would definitely return and have a cocktail or two.

Excellent place for the fine dinning cafe. The food menu is exemplary and the staff helps you choose the right dish as per your palate. Cheers. The view is excellent. Real value for money. The ambience is great. Never miss it if you are in London.

We went here for dinner the other night and very much enjoyed it. The service was attentive and the food was nice as well.
We went for the 3 course and a cocktail menu for £30 and found the price to be too good for everything offered!
You also get very nice views of London and live music from 7pm, will 100% be back!

Fantastic views, delicious food and considerate service. I went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The panoramic views of the Thames (from the top floor) were spectacular, especially at night. The food was well prepared. The service was focused. An enjoyable experience.

Excellent service I felt like a superstar. At first when we walked in they told us to look at the menu to see if we like it but I reckon it was to see if we could afford it. After that we was showed to our table and was offered 5 star treatment. Cocktails were beautiful and the starter was excellent. The price was a lot as working class people the bill could feed us for a month. However it was worth every penny.

Excellent evening at the OXO Tower Restaurant this week which exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, the service was very good and the interior was interesting and comfortable.
For a restaurant with a view, I would recommend the OXO Tower. Whilst not as high as the Shard, the restaurant is far better than Oblix, which is the Shard's modern European equivalent.
I was here on a work dinner so I cannot comment on the prices as I didn't see them on our menu. The drinks menu was relatively standard for a restaurant of this kind with a good cocktail and spirit list and an extensive wine list. The only negative is that they had ran out of the gin I wanted.
I will definitely return!

We nipped in here to dodge Storm Dennis and grab a drink - we were seated immediately and service was quick. The food people were eating around us looked great so we would definitely return for a bite to eat if we were close by again. The cocktail was delicious too! Worth a trip in just to say you've been up the OXO Tower!

Good food and good view but a bit pricey, would recommend booking beforehand

Great food and great views if weather is good enough to sit out on the balcony.

Yum! Did I say YUM! Wow this was a perfect evening. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was romantic. Views were spectacular. But it was little pricey, but worth the cost. If you decide to try this restaurant make sure that you're making a reservation for the actual restaurant and not at the Brasserie, which is located next door. And reservations are absolutely necessary. It's located on the South Bank in London which is a really happening area, so afterwords can easily enjoy some of the local bars or just walking around and enjoying the scenery.

Good views of Central London, in particular st Paul's cathedral. Went for afternoon tea. Sandwiches weren't too tasty as we had requested vegetarian options which was a shame. Desserts were good though

You can't beat the oxo tower for the view....it's spectacular and this is reflected in the price of the dishes. Service was OK but food seemed to be below average and basic in the brassiere . It's almost as if the kitchen doesn't really need to try given the outstanding location which is a bit of a shame. Chicken and fish dishes along with shared starters were very plain and uninspiring. The cocktail menu and variety of drinks was good although my young son ordered a chocolaty milky drink which obviously flummoxed the staff and had to be sent back.

Very professional staff and service. Good food and lovely view. Thank you.
