Reviews of PAUL Kingsway
I. V. F.
Great place to have a coffee, good staff, clean and with gorgeous pastries, if you’re looking for a calm place to work or just have a coffee, this is the place. ☺️
S. H. S.
Comfortable place, nice decor, good service, good food, but weak coffee.
M. B.
Good baguette for eat in snack lunch, friendly staff
N.
The hot chocolate is wonderful!
If you tipped your cup over it would probably take half an hour for the stuff to pour out! Thick and flavoursome.
The pastries were as you’d expect from a French bakery, rich and sweet, but not sickly like many imitations end up being.
Small but perfectly proportioned seating area with a number of two person settings inside and out.
A worthwhile stop over alternatives on this commuter path.

Fantastic cafe. Excellent service as always. Freshest bakery.
A. D.
The mixed red berry cake is to die for. Dark chocolate cake and hot chocolate also good.
C. R.
Great place for coffee and cakes!!

I've been to this branch before and was dissatisfied with slow service and a burnt toasted sandwich. I put it down to one bad experience and didn't think much of it.
Today there seemed to be only one member of staff serving the whole place! Very slow and unenthusiastic service. I usually love the food and atmosphere in Paul, but this is clearly not a good branch.

One of the best mainstream french coffee shop in London. They deliver good coffee, sandwiches, baguettes and pastries. Helpful and friendly staff
T. R.
Good coffee and croissants.

There are a couple of tables available for you to sit down and chat. However, in the evening thye run out from a lot of food items in the menu - I expected to have hot chocolate and they didn't have it at all.

I was on my way to King's college and stopped here for food, internet and a meeting. The staff were very friendly and did not tut/ bother me whilst I occupied a table for so long. PS their hot chocolate is one of the best.
G. D.
Tasty and tender food with nice coffee are charged with reasonable price. Had a go on the hot chocolate as many people recommend, but it tastes a little bit rich to me.

Really convenient for an LSE student to grab pastry and go. Macarons, croissants, pain du chocolat, cake... you name it. There are pretzels too. The hot chocolate is really thick, just the way I like it (and the way it is done in Italy). It is a lovely comfort spot for me whether I want to sit in or am in a hurry and need a takeaway. It is conveniently located next to a printers too so if waiting for your dissertation to be bound, why not right?

The cakes are good, though trying to cram four cakes for four people into two plates was silly. The staff do require some extra training on customer service for sure.
Z. J.
A bit pricy. But worth trying their tea. Very tasty. Sandwiches and bakeries are also good.
M. B.
