Beautiful place in Lewisham. Absolutely loved the decor and ambience. Food was lovely and great value for money I would of given 5 stars, but deducted one, because the male waiter we had kept forgetting us He said he would come back and take our order in 2 minutes, He took so long we had to call him over. The other 2 female waitresses who served our starters and drinks were very prompt with response to our requests. Receiving our bill in a mini treasure chest with mints was a nice touch too.

We had a great evening at Payiz. I went with my work colleagues and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious, with lots of options including for vegetarians and differing dietary requirements. We were looked after so well and all the staff were welcoming and kind. The interior of the restaurant is also very fancy - I love their velvet chairs! Overall a perfect evening out, will have to book again to try their breakfast menu!

We went to this restaurant yesterday and the food was really good. The only thing that I didn’t like was the mojito because it was a bit more on the sour side but other then that the food was really nice. I have been here a number of times as it is local! All the Turkish dishes are impeccable, price is reasonable, staff are attentive, it's never too crowded. My favourite is the Watermelon punch! This place is special ❣

We went to Payiz for today as a really good friend of mine recommended it, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous, juicy and filling too! The hospitality was beyond amazing with lots of complementary tea, Turkish delight and delicious baklava! The whole experience was 10/10 and would highly recommend!

Despite I am not familiar to Lewisham , today I had some things to do their. Checked the best restaurants in the area on Google and it showed me “Payiz”. And now I can say it really deserves 5 * and the reviews was trustable. We have been greeted by the owner of the restaurant with smile and friendly staff. The barman made the best drinks , shakes and cocktails. The food came in a big portions and was very delicious. We had tasty turkish tea and coffee that comes with turkish delight. Definitely recommended and will be back soon.

Highly recommend!! Had an amazing experience at Payiz Mediterranean restaurant in Lewisham. Awesome ambience, Staff is very welcoming and cordial.Every dish we tried was very tasty and fresh. For main course we tried "Chicken Sarma Beyti" and "Payiz Chicken Shish".Food was exceptionally good. According to my appetite the portion size of each dish was good for two people. For dessert we tried "Baklava" and "Kunefe". Both of them were very tasty...its a delight for a person with sweet tooth. It would be an understatement if i say the dishes were Delicious!! Our first visit today and definitely not our last.

We enjoyed a beautiful meal there a few days ago- really class with the freshest of ingredients and the most wonderful flavours. Today we decided to pop in and sample the cocktails and what a treat they were. We had the most amazing after-work social here. The restaurant is a modern Mediterranean (Turkish) restaurant in Lewisham. Conveniently located near Lewisham station and easily accessible. Staff were super friendly and were very welcoming, true eastern vibe. Food was scrumptious. We shared a cold and a hot Meze plate which had a nice selection of tasty nibbles. Food is tad pricey. I tried Adana Kebab which was very nice. Two skewers of minced meat with a side of Bulgur and rice and nice yogurt and chili sauce. They were kind enough to treat us with Turkish tea and coffee and super fresh and tasty pistachio baklava. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We have gotten takeaway a few times from Payiz and it’s always amazing. It always arrives well packaged, fresh and warm and today they included a rice pudding which was a nice treat. I have gone in before to pickup an order and the staff members I spoke to were warm, friendly and polite. The restaurant also smells amazing when you walk by. Very clean restaurant newly opened and convenient for Lewisham station. Food was well cooked and presented. We selected the standard shish dishes of Turkish restaurants which were all marinated, seasoned and cooked well. The menu has a wide range of fish dishes which we plan to try on our next visit.

Went here for my birthday, they were great and catered to my dietary requirements even if it was quite an uncommon request. They went out of there way and even gave us a cocktail on the house and extra tea as a treat. It's cosy in there with nice decor and we all enjoyed our food.

Went for a family lunch. Lovely decor, bright and airy. The service was very good and there was a broad selection of food on the menu, all tasty and with fresh colourful salads.We also enjoyed a variety of cocktails. For me personally I was also very pleased that they have Wray and Nephew rum at the bar! A great place to have an intimate meal or a big celebration and we needed a good restaurant in Lewisham.

Superb restaurant! Went here to celebrate my mums birthday. There was a large group of us and the staff were incredibly accommodating, especially when the numbers kept increasing. The customer service was impeccable & the food👌🏾. Every single guest spoke highly of the flavours in their dish, the presentation and large portions! All said they'd return. We ended up spending 4.5hours here in total as the ambiance & music was also lovely. Also, the cocktails too were impressive! A big 5* to this restaurant, staff& owner. Hopefully it remains how started, as it'll continue to be a very popular restaurant &bar!

Firstly and most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS.! The staff are very welcoming; we even had a lovely chat with the owner as she passed our table. The decor is on point and the chairs are very comfortable.The cocktails were tasty and fairly priced. Although I am happy to rate my experience 5 stars, we did have to wait quite a while to get some tap water and I do rather enjoy water with my meals. I look forward to my next visit to this lovely restaurant, hopefully sometime soon.

The food itself was tasty and good value for money. However I tried to order calamari and was told there wasn’t any. I then ordered a cheeseburger and got served a chicken burger. I was offered the chance to change this but told it was take 8-10 minutes and the rest of my party had their food in front of them so I declined. My companion ordered a traditional dish and a side of fries. She was told that fried came with the dish as well as rice. When the dish arrived there was no chips. When we told the waitress we were still waiting for the chips, the maitre D told came over and made us feel aa though we were just being difficult for asking for the chips. We declined a complimentary portion of chips as we’d all finished our meals by this point.

Turkish food is some of my favourite food and I thought I'd tasted the best. But I was absolutely gobsmacked with the quality and taste of food I had last night. We came in 20 minutes before closing on a whim after running errands and I am so glad we did! The lamb shish is hands down the most succulent and juicy lamb I have ever tasted. The service staff; Dawn and Baris had as much warmth, it was like we had come at lunch time not closing. Payiz will definitely replace my usual spot and I will definitely be coming again. I've heard good things about the chicken shish, so that is next on my list!

Really nice experience here tonight. Excellent mojitos, margaritas, falafel and bread. They were the highlights. The staff were very friendly and did a great job especially considering it was newly opened. It was very clean and reasonably priced. Personally we like lamb chops marinated a bit more but that is personal preference! The lamb chops were very good quality. Next time we will ask of they have chilli sauce too as that would make the experience even better! 10/10 though! Very happy we came here :)
