A small Italian restaurant with quite average food and service. The atmosphere is quite lively and the decor is rather energetic than cosy. The dishes are decent but seemed to lack something extra to make them stand out. The waiters were pleasant but the restaurant seemed slightly understaffed as it was difficult to reach them at times.

Went two times so far and both times I had a great time. The food is really good and the staff is really helpful and considerate. It's also kids/babies friendly- they have enough space for pushchairs and a baby changing table. Would recommend!

Literally landed into this restaurant after spending a month in Italy, I have to say this restaurant lives up to the amazing standard of Italian food. Come to this place for real fresh Italian food, amazing wine selection, attentive and friendly staff. The passion from the chef comes out in the food and food served actually has a soul!

The food was exquisite, dish after dish it just seemed to get better (no doubt also helped by the delicious cocktails!) and the service was fun and attentive. Best wood fired Pizza in Kensington! Highly recommend this authentic and cozy Italian restaurant. Home smoked salmon and focaccia is must try, along with the unique types of pizza (like pumpkin base) they offer. Our girls love their bunny margarita pizzas specially made for little ones. The interior is newly renovated and the full bar looks very attractive. The owner James is always there to greet and assist if needed, his friendly and helpful approach that we have witnessed for years is always inviting!

Impromptu visit to this busy Italian restaurant and managed to get a table for three. Menu is short but with plenty of variety and able to cater for our 'gluten free' member. Wine list extensive and affordable. My wild boar Ragu was tasty and filling. Will definitely go again.

I had a wonderful lunch with friends at the recently-opened Pino, owned by the family who run Il Portico a few doors along the road. Service was very good and friendly, and it was a pleasure to be welcomed by James, the owner. We all chose to have one their wood-fired pizzas Crema Parmagiano pizzas which were absolutely delicious, so light, and made with first class ingredients. If you want to find out what REAL pizzas should taste like, then look no further than Pino. I am very happy to recommend this restaurant.
